Speaker 1 (00:15):
Hey, hey everybody, it is that time again and it's
drinks with d D and John. Please love you. It's
a rose. Show them that get to have close up
to the.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
It's a square, it's a block, and it's a rose that.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Did you carve that for me on our anniversary? No drink, no,
I love you.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
It's an electric lemonade.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Because we're outside on the back porch and it's super hot.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
It is super hot right now. I know we look
cool as two cucumbers, but.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
We ain't maybe for another five minutes, all right.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Gosh, yeah, it's pretty humid out here right now. Good
news is though, we're getting the air conditioner fixed. Guy
was funny because he's he's, oh, I know it's wrong
with it.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
You want me to fix it? Yes? Well yeah, yes,
please please.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
He's probably going to come up in the middle of
the show and that's okay, so my may I have
to go where John.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Won't have to go or he's gonna call you.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
That's what Carl comes up because there's the timer on
the phone.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
So it's just chaos.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
But when the downstairs is just a heater, the one
in the basement is just the heaters.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
It was just on not a heater, was just blowing.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Air because you know where the cultures are.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yes, yep, okay, hey everybody, it's so good to be here.
It is our it's been one year, so when you
see that, it'll be a year in a day or
a year and two days?

Speaker 3 (01:40):
What this one? Yeah? Number one one? Uh so, happy anniversary.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
The university you.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I love you you. Mm hmmm.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
It's good, isn't it is? It's amazing and you know,
and lemonades our success story. We just came back from Atlanta.
We came back from Knoxville. We came back from Nashville.
And I won't say every day, but every couple of
days we meet someone who has is a widow or

(02:14):
is a widower who has been can I say it
inspired or invigorated by us? So it's it's it's not
a physition you ever want, but we're glad that we
have it. This is possible. She's crazy, but this is
this is possible. I'm crazy too, crazy about you.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Thank you your nice try No, no, no, I am no.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I think it's a it's a no. I know, and
I see it all the time. You don't see it
as much because you're always you're talking to people. But
people at an.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Autograph table or something, they'll come up to me.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
They'll tell me their story and they will look at
her who's over there, you know, animated talking to somebody, uh,
and say, I'm so delighted that you guys found each other.
You give me hope. I hear that every time we
do an autograph session, every time we do a comic
con or a what was It?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Fanboy expo? I hear that. I don't know if you
hear that as much as I do.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Probably not, because you're there signings, so you have a
lot more conversations than I do.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
But you have longer conversations with fewer people.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
But we do have a lot of people that are like, oh,
I'm so inspired, and I'm so happy you guys are happy,
and I'm so thrilled for you.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
And there are a lot of lovely people out there.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Well.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
You get a few people are art, but you know what,
they're miserable, and I guess they want to be miserable.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
They can be, but you know, don't tell me.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
People want to share their happiness and people who are
miserable want to share their misery.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
So I guess yeah, but most are great. Most people
are lovely and they want to be happy. No.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Nine nine.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Yes, And even if.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
They're not, they're like, oh, you're an inspiration, like we
just said, but they mean it and they're sweet and
they want happiness in our life. If some folks just
want to stay in a miserable dark hole for some reason,
I don't know why you'd want to do that.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Now, some folks have trouble getting out of that.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Look both griefs, and we know there's time for that,
but some people just think you want to be there
in perpetuity.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Well, yeah, and we watched the show. Oddly enough, we
watched a show that dealt with a little bit of
that that the little girl, the daughter felt.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
She got her friend, her best friend took a picture
of her laughing, and her first thought was she felt
guilty because she was laughing because her mom had passed away.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
And it's amazing. It's what's it called shrinking? Shrinking?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Anyway, it's so the one that Harrison Ford is in.
It's quite good, really really good show. But anyway, so
it's it seems to be out there in what's the
what's the high dollar word? The zeitgeist? Right now, because
we also watch Stick. We told you about Stick, and
we watched the season finale of Stick last night.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
The only thing want with that show is that it's
too short, way too short.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
I could watch Owen Wilson consider what he's going to
say next and how he's going to say it all night,
all day, all month. He is unbelievably great. The cast
is everybody in it is so great.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
The same thing.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
With with with shrinking, and the same thing with the
other one. We didn't watch because I think the season
finale of the Studio I think it's tonight. I think
it's tonight. And then we also were watching land Man.
You weren't crazy about land Man, right sat Man's a

(05:42):
little rough for you.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
It's pretty gritty. I mean it's okay.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, Billy Bobb is great.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Before we get onto anything else, I want to let
you know we're sorry about whatever happened to the upload
last week.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
There was some some funkiness, but it has been addressed.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
It has been remastered or something, so look on the
YouTube channel for it. Won't the old link will will
not work. There'll be a new link to It's called
super Man. I'll tell you what Tony why don't we
call it Superman repaired?

Speaker 3 (06:17):
That's exciting.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yeah, but cam they still go to our YouTube page.
It's not in diprint.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, it's gonna look like a brand new episode, but
it's not. It's last week's episode repaired. Okay, we could
get rid of last week's episode and put it up there,
but then we lose all the comments, which most of
the comments were we can't watch it, what's the matter?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
But we fixed that. We're sorry. You know.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
It's amazing that all this stuff can get uploaded through
wherever it goes and wind up wherever it goes, and
that we can see it at all. But I promise
it'll be better. This one will be this one will
be better. I'm glad we're not moving. Is it nice
to be still a little bit?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah, but we're going to.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Be too long around town all day or anniversary.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Well, but that's not an arduous task.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
We're in our really on golf card and she's gonna
do it's orange, ye, of course, why not black much
shop and it's parked behind us while Carl is working
on the air conditioning.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, it takes all the neighbors.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
And then we collected our mail next door, and then
we've got more mail.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
The post office's post office. We just got home.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
So you know, you all know that when you get home,
there's always so much to do. But when you walk
in and it's a furnace.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
That's a little overwhelming.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
That's why you have to address first.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Now, our top floor is nice and fool but of
course we chose to.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Be on the right over there. That's right over there.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yes, so when you walk in, you walk in late
at night and it's hot, it's like a.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
So yeah, but Steinhart, they're great and they came right over.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
You called them this morning and they're here. Yeah, that's
pretty fantastic.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Right, they're working on it. We're very grateful for that.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
We appreciate that. Along those lines, it's it's the middle
of summer now, so it's.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
A little too late to be thinking ahead. But do
what I know I should do and I don't do.
Get your air conditioners service before you need to turn
them on. Then service in march, in March, maybe early March,
mid march, or you wind up like us, You come

(08:33):
home and then it's uh, it's just not working. So
have a relationship with your happy relationship, make friends with
your heating and air conditioning people, so that you keep
those systems up to snuff. It's important because thank god
the one up here works because if not, this is
the third floor, so this would be like a blast.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Furnace in here because you know, of course heat rises,
So make sure you do that.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
If you've got a pool and all that sort of stuff,
make sure you do the maintenance ahead of time.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
It's it's more convenient to do it before you need it.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
And you know you don't want to have to do
that because you've got a you've got a party tonight,
and you've got no AC and you've got ten people
showing up. Okay, so just a little preemptive maintenance or
preventative maintenance would be great.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Same thing, right, yeahpt maintenance.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Prevented much so you also do cameos enough, you've heard
of those. It's usually John then gets requests, but I
get them too, but usually for silly stuff. I don't
know why, but.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
It's it's just you're the crazy thing at the end
of the book, crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Request and sometimes I have to say no because they're.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Super duper too much inappropriate, Yeah, inappropriate. However, last night,
this woman Kathy our new friends.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Oh Kathy, so thank you.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
So she asked me for Kimmy's us. You know, John
did a cameo for me. But I want you to
just give a shout out, like, okay, you know that's fun.
So I had John join and she gave me a
one hundred dollars tip. Now I want to give it
back to her because it's fun. I mean, you know,
but you know, I'm really bad about gifts are compliments
sometimes and John I do, but it's harder for me

(10:18):
to accept them. But when somebody does, oh no, that's okay,
we've got this, or if they're like, oh will you
please and be in the picture, Oh no, no, I'll
take the picture, and John gives me a heart time on.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Tom goes, no, they want you in the picture.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
You were they?

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Or well maybe maybe not, or they're just being polite
and that's okay too, But then it it's a whole thing.
So John is convinced me that I need to accept
the gifts and need to accept the compliments, and you
need to accept being in the pictures, which is really
a compliment. So I want to tell you all we
really appreciate your support, whether it be cameos, whether it

(10:52):
be the store rather it be just online. You know,
we love you, we support you, and happy anniversary and
we've got a million Oh thank you.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
We're not going to get back to everybody, but thank
you so very very much.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Started last night actually super duper early this morning, and
message after message and we're so happy for you.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
And you're just you're all just wonderful. We appreciate it
very much.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
We're actually thinking about doing a having a cameo profile
that is the two of us, you know, John add
medi and John drinks with cameos John a d D
you know. So if we do do that, then look
for the link. If you want one of those, then
we'll do that. We're also talking about T shirts. I
think drinks with DDE and John T shirts would be

(11:35):
really cool.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
The sweat is rolling down my Yes, it is my
Duke's shirt. Why is it my Duke's shirt?

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Off?

Speaker 1 (11:45):
And if anyone, because I just was downstairs signing a
bunch of Dynamite books and a bunch of forty well
a couple of forty five's for TV Guide and a
couple of things. Because we have an area at the
store that is vintage vintage or legacy. I don't know,

(12:06):
vintage your legacy where you can get some of these
cool things like the TV Guide or like a forty
five of.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
What was it?

Speaker 1 (12:14):
I just signed Tree Girls, Country Girls, So I just
signed that that was a number one song.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
So they're autographed and I'm sending them back to Luke. Now.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Also a bunch of these T shirts, Tony, please put
that up. This is the Schneiderville T shirt and also
the Schneiderville hat.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Now, these, of course are kind.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Of a hybrid of my world in both the Dukes
of Hazzard and in Smallville. Because I've been traveling in Knoxville,
I had some of my cast mates from Smallville and
also in Atlanta. It was great fun saw Kristin for
the first time since we finished the show. She's beautiful,
she's great, she's funny, so smart. And we did a
panel Kristin and Michael Rosenbaum and I and it was

(13:00):
is great.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
It's a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
I love that Michael is from Indiana as well. He
grew up in Newburgh, so the first time I saw him,
I said, Evansville, which is the big.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
City next to Newburgh.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Newburgh is tiny on the river, but beautiful, but both
places are great.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Last time I saw him, I'm like Newburgh. So you've
got to kick out that because nobody's gonna know that
unless you're from Indiana.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Was going to Newburgh?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Probably not, but it's really lovely. And then so on
the river as well.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
So if you keep going that way, there's a river
right there, you're going to see Michael's hometown.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
We're on the.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
River, yes west, yes, oh yes, Evansville Newburgh definitely west.
We're way east right, So Indiana is beautiful along the river.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
That's why we live here.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
It's uh, it's hot right now, but it's wonderful.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Is good.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
You know, I used to garden and we get our
fortune done back here. I'm going to garden again, and
at least with bulbs or something. I'll have some sort
of some sort of vegetation out there.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
Well, let me tell you what happened this morning. So
we couldn't find John Schwartz for the electrocution suit, and
I said, why don't we just get the fishing pole
so you can get your pants from the next door
neighbor's rooftop because it's been in forever, so you're getting
electrocuted because you wouldn't get the fishing pole. I tried
to get you to get the fishing pole yesterday at Dicks, and.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
You wouldn't do it. All. I don't need it. I'll
do dough A fishing.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Lin't need to get. I'll go to Walmart and get it.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Get eletrocuted.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
You get a twelve dollars you know, all in one
sort of a fishing pole. Why not, Well, because I
don't need a because I don't.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Get your pants could fly over there, don't and you
have to have to get it again or something pulf.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
I can do that with a pocket fisherman.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Well, clearly not, because you haven't and you got electrocuted
this morning.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
So I'm thinking we go get the fishing pole.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
I did not get electrocuted this morning. I got I
got stung.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
You didn't say that it was that I did.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Well, okay, I got shocked. Somewhere between stung and electrocuted
is shocked.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
But I was unp kind of pans so he got
electricals the wrong Yeah, it was not the right material.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
So it took the shock, which is.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
The pulse which is spread out over a pad about
the size of a cell phone maybe a little bigger
on your on your thighs and on your quads and.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
On your hamstrings.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
But when the material under it is not quite right,
then it isolates the shock of the whole pad down
to one thing, kind of like a when an elephant
stands on one leg. That's he doesn't have all that
weight spread out. He has it on one leg, or
she has it on one leg. That's a lot of

(15:41):
stress down there. So I was like, WHOA, Okay, but
it's a wonderful program, so I didn't have to just
grin and bear it. I went in the program, and
I had choices. I could turn the level down in
those areas or I could turn them off. I chose
to turn them off, and then I did the rest
of the workout. It was great, and I know that
it works because a great thrill I had in Atlanta

(16:06):
is a gentleman. There was a beautiful family there and
and mom and grandpa and the cutest little kiddos, and
one the little little daughter was grabbing the tiniest baby,
the tiniest son's sneakers was taking him off and throwing him.
He was in a stroller. She was taking him off
and throwing him and just having the time of her life.

(16:26):
And the gentleman turned to me and he said, he said, hi, John,
I'm Lee Haney. I'm a And I said, oh my god,
you're like you're like an eight time mister Olympia. You're
you're my my bodybuilding hero. So it was so wonderful
to meet Lee Haney and his hero. We'll show you

(16:48):
a picture or Tony find to find a picture of
Lee Haney winning one.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Of the many Mister Olympias that he won.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
But this guy, thank goodness, has a very sweet soul
and he's very, very very kind because look at this guy,
and he's sixty five as well. But the reason I
say all that is he reached up and grabbed my arm,
or reached over and grabbed my arm because he's a
big guy too. And he said, man, what are you doing?

(17:16):
And I told him all about the electrocution suit. I
told him about the catalyst suit because he he is
famous for lifting incredible amounts of weight.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
And I've found and it.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Seems to be a bit of the norm is when
you have been a mister Olympia, when you have been
that kind of dedicated. Jim Rat as we call him,
you don't want to lower the weights, but you know,
as you get older, your connective tissueet does change. You know,

(17:49):
we dry out a little bit, so you can't be
using that kind of weight. That's when injuries happen. So
we talked about this. It was such a thrill. I
got to talk about this sort of thing to are
with Lee Haney. So he's looking into the catalyst suit
right now and I think, uh, man, he.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Look great.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Man. Give you part of your anniversary gift?

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Sure? Oh wow, ah, give me a kiss. We're gonna
send Tony the picture. But this is what this is
so great. That's right down the street at the Ohio.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Theater Theater and they were so sweet and they put
our happy anniversary, John.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
And that's so great.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
So the first anniversary is always celebrated, well the old fashion.
And I have a history degree, and I know you
make it's tired of me saying that. But the reason
I say that is because we have to.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Remember our history. It's very important.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
So I'm making so history right now eight week.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
But on the street there they've got it on the
big marquee and they've gone it on both sides.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
So that's what's fun.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Yeah. Wow.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Yeah, So they were great. They made that work. But
I was thinking, it's.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
A lot of ease. I mean with Josh, I've got two,
but you've got you've got four.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Yeah, thank you, Ohio Theater. We greatly appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
That's why we love Madison because our neighbors are really wonderful.
Carl came right over, you know, they put it up
on the Marquee, and then the the porch guy is
coming whenever week.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Got him here, right and we're gonna go pick up
the boss hog car h. And by the way, I
don't know if get in touch with us folks. I
used to have connections with folks that when movie theaters
change out and they put the new the big rocking
recliners and all that stuff in, they usually just throw

(19:52):
away their their regular seats. Back in Louisiana, I got like, uh,
three hundred of them once for the price of showing
up and picking them up. So if you are, if
you are in need of seats for that theater, let
me know.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
And maybe I.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Don't know if I still have that connection or not,
but if I do, I'll put you all together and
we'll try to figure it out.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Or I'll try to get them out of Louisiana because
it's a bunch of all.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
Yeah, it's a beautiful, old, historic theater, but they're missing seats.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
It used to have seats back.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
In the day, beautiful, but for some reason they refurbished everything,
so they took the seats out. But they need any seats,
but I don't know, maybe they've got some hiding somewhere.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
I don't know. If you do the National store, that's great, but.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
It's a beautiful theater and we love it.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Well, what happens is when you take the seats out,
they kind of look like they fall apart.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
They don't really.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
As soon as you unhook those seats from the floor,
they are very flimsy. Yeah, so it's the floor that
gives them the stability. But anyway, if you're looking for
those just here at the Ohio Theater. This is not
a call out to every small theater, but it is.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
It is the.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
Health theater in Madison, Indiana, running down the street from
US that has Happy Birth, Happy Anniversary, and they're going
to leave it there through the weekend.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Sweet, very sweet, But the traditional. When I was.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Getting to about the history part, the traditional first anniversary gift.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Is made of paper.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Well that's tricky because there's not a lot, but we
already have other things happening for paper today. The modern
gift is a clock, but I like to go old.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Fashioned, so we're doing paper.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
So the marquis even though it's not paper, it's kind
of like paper because it's a message.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
When you think of paper, it's pictures, it's.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
Writing, it's poems, it's things like that. So the Marquee
is the beginning of our celebration day, first anniversary.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
I did, yes it is. I did my post at
twelve oh one this morning.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
You did I love you?

Speaker 3 (21:54):
I did love you back yeah one.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
She read it.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Well, it's supposed to wait, Well, yeah, you're supposed to
be you're supposed to be going at twelve oh one.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Well I usually am.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
But I saw it and it made my night and
it made my day still and it makes my life.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
It makes my homelike you do. I love you very much.
You make me very happy, You make me so very happy.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Palms song, glad you came in through my love.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Thank you bet that's so David Clayton Thomas, one of
the greatest singers of all time, so what in the
world is going on with late night TV? They're being
canned right and left, and they're saying, oh, it's all point. No,

(22:50):
I mean, why can't you understand who is it the
latest one that got the bear?

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Colbert?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Why can't you understand that, well, losing forty million dollars
a year is not really job security. Okay, you know,
which basically mean I don't know what you get paid
or you got paid for doing your your your other
than the hours, pretty cinchy job. But your content, why

(23:22):
is it you cannot understand that the Republicans are in
charge right now?

Speaker 4 (23:29):
And at the very least, note that the country is divided.
Say it's half red, half blue.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Like not half it's I mean, by your a democratic definition,
by the way, democrat democratic is the one that means
majority rules, which is a matter of expediency and convenience,
not necessarily a matter of uh something being correct or
good to me, good for all of the community. Okay,

(23:57):
it's the majority rules is something that you do when
there's not time. It's like, okay, we got to go
to battle, Okay, show a hands, right, you know, it's
it's something that's in an emergency part of a democracy,
but it is not the be all end all.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
That's why there are two senators from every state, whether
you're Rhode Island or California.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
That's the way our republic is set up.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
And of course, the reason that Democrats don't want the
electoral College, which is a show in itself, is because
then New York and New York in LA would elect
every single president and that's no good because they're a
lot more in the.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Country that we have las rules.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Right, it's rule really.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
But by the way, hello, Democrat liberal folks, not only
did the Republicans slash Conservatives win the electoral college, we
also won the popular votes.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
True, so we won in the.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Most perfect Democrat I won't say landslide, but majority.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
That's pretty much a landslide. We won totally fair and
square by your rules.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
So if we're if we're playing by your rules and
you don't win, don't cripe and complain and whine and
do who is this other clown that's like f f
f U f U F you with a with a
choir behind him?

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Who was that?

Speaker 2 (25:32):
John Stewart?

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Oh my god, you will never and you'll never work
in this town again.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
If anybody hires your clownish, ridiculous, childish ass again, you
will be the luckiest man in the world.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
But that's the whole point.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
Let's just say how which I believe you that it
is more than half, But let's just say, well, why
would you hunk up and have everybody turn off half
the country of your show?

Speaker 2 (25:59):
I mean, you're honking off half of people.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Saying honking off. Yes, I've never heard that served before.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Here, go ahead, Ah, I've never heard honking off?

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Okay, yeah, But why would you do that?

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Because then you're.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Going to lose your audience, you're going to lose money,
you're going to lose sponsors, and you know, and that's
something that John here and there will pay attention to,
but usually he's just going to say when he wants
to say. So, you're kind of in the same boat
if you think about it. Do you see what I'm saying?

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Well, if it was half, I am kind of in
the same boat. But it's not half.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
And not not defending him at all, but the only
people that watch him are people that agree with him.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
But the show that that demographic is.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Diminishing, diminishing, diminishing, the same thing with a view, same
thing with all these all these left wing liberal places
in it, and there's certainly a place for that. But
call it what it is, call it, you know, laughs
from the left. Call it, I don't know, call it something.
I used to say this all the time. If if

(27:02):
I have the Brussels Sprout channel, why would I want
to advertise asparagus. Let's just stick with the Brussels Sprout
channel and you can have your asparagus channel, because guess what,
there's a lot of people don't like asparagus.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
So why would you punk off anybody when you are.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
In such a precarious position as having your livelihood and
the livelihood of you of your family depend upon the
ratings that come through this little box.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Remember ABC, CBS, NBC, it's a different situation because their network,
they're not like MSNBC. I really don't watch it because.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
I don't care for it's to miss NBS.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Yeah, so you know, we watch box and we watch newsmaps,
so we get to pick. But when you're ABC, NBC, CBS, GBS,
they kind of get everybody. A lot of people who
don't have kboard and they don't have the money to
get the big cable packages. Uh, and so they, in
my opinion, they need to be a little bit more brought.

(28:11):
I think they need to be a little bit more
like Johnny Carson. Now Johnny Carson want to talk about
politics at all. Uh, he just wouldn't go there because
I thought.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
That that was bad. He felt like that was bad
for business, and it just so happens. He's right. But
if you're one in the big three, I don't know
how big.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
They are anymore, you kind of need to be a
little more I don't want to see generic I hate
that word. Maybe a little bit more of an ambassador
and not be so hateful to one side.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Well, you have to at least show and I believe
Newsmax does more than Fox Fox does to a degree,
but I think news Max does more.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
They show the other side. Wow, you got that guy
well right?

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Yes, no, no, no, they're absolutely right because they had to.
They only they only happened because the pendulum went so
far left.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
There was no news from the right or no right for.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
No conservative perspective on any news channel anywhere really unless
it was like Wow, with what these clowns are doing,
you know, So that's the we can.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
Choose that and we choose that because it doesn't lean
conservative great because you know what it is they say
they are. But with the Big Three, come on, folks,
I mean that's bad business. I mean because you're getting
folks who don't have the money to get their camel packages.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
So you so well and.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Who does My god, it's so extensive.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Is we thought it was it was cheaper not to
have a dish or not to have a but no,
every time we want to watch something, it's on something
else that we have to.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Subscribe to and it's a huge bill. So I have
to check that out.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
But I think because we have a landline and maybe
three landlines, because we've got.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Like no landline like a telephone.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah, I think we have a landline.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
I don't have a telephone in this building.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
I know we get a landline. We have cable landline
and something else.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
I guess you must be thinking landline is something other
than what I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
No, it's landline like a phone.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Hello, Hi, Sarah, I see you know what hits.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
The band and it's armageddon. You need Cebe's landline.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
We survived the last uh, the last administration. I think
I think we're gonna pardon me, it goes out.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
We all have the terrible times like, oh my god,
you can't get anything. So it's going to have a landline. However,
it's better to have a phone when you have a landline,
So we need a phone.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
I think a land line is a phone.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
We don't have a phone hooked up to it though.
It's a landline and it's like a hookup. I swear
we've got the hookup. I don't know where it is,
but I'll find out.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Well, there is a phone downstairs, but it doesn't it
doesn't have a dial tone.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Yeah, that's not it's it's small arts land at the.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Back door to the golf part. So yeah, I know,
but there is one that works. I'm telling you we're
painting board for sure.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Well, just because you're paying for it doesn't necessarily mean
it works.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
I think it works.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
I think we have to get the Metro net folks,
and we really do like a Metro net.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
They're more local.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Yeah, but we need to we're not local all that often.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
So we go somewhere else and it's like, oh, do
you want to you want to set this up?

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Like are you a hotel or you in a dorm room?
What are you in?

Speaker 1 (31:13):
And every time it's seven ninety nine a month, but
it's free right now.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Oh my god, we've.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Got on both bones in the house. I just think
we buy all well.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
And you have your Google account. I have my Google.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
I think we like triple by everything.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
By the way, we're going to go back to this again.
I don't have a Telegram account.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
I do not.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
You know, we have to scurry like like roaches when
the lights are turned on. We that's how we get
here to do this podcast.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
It's like hurry. It's always a hurry.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Fun hurry to hurry.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
If someone is pretending to be if someone has the
time to text you and carry on a forty five
minute conversation, it's not me.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
Okay, So all.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
The messaging, all of the telegram, that's all not real.
And I had somebody two days ago say and I
saw it, and I'm not sure how I even saw it.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
I think it came through Facebook Messenger.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Hey, I just want to make sure this is you
before I send the fifteen hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
Oh my god, please do.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Not send me or anyone who looks like me fifteen
hundred dollars or fifteen dollars or twenty dollars or I mean,
just don't do it. Do you want to go to
the store John Schneider dot shop Great? You want to
rent a movie? Sineflix one dot Calm, dude, those links

(32:48):
will be in the thing here.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
I've said this until I'm blue in the face.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
I will try to sell you something, but I will
not ask you to make some sort of a donation.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
To me or to anyone else personally. Don't do it,
Please God, don't do it.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
I feel so every day of people saying they were scammed.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Well, and then the saddest thing is when people don't
know they've been scammed and they come to Knoxville or
they come to Atlanta and they say, hey, it's me
and I'm like hi, and they look at me like,
oh my god, you don't know. You know, we were
just you know, we were just talking thirty seconds ago.
You know, while I've been in signing autographs for four hours,

(33:36):
we were just having the time to have a casual conversations.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
In Nigeria, it breaks, they are and I say Nigeria
because one time I put my phone number van Camp. Yeah,
one time I put my phone number up just to
see what the calls, because I knew scammers would try
to test it or try to do something. Sure enough,
I got a call from Nigeria three times, so at
least part of the scammers, or a nine year.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
Old named John is yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
And so what they do is they find out where
John's going because we post he's doing shows and what
have you.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
And then they go, hey, let's meet up over at
the holiday inn. Let's meet up over at the local restaurant.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
And then op, but send me a gift card so
I can get there, Like John needs a gift card.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
You know, to Yeah, I need you to. I need
you to put money into my visa card.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Come on, really never never or to be a li like.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
We're not saying that people.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Yeah, the program has been gone for a year and
a half two years.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Yeah, they said, hey, if you give me maybe that
was the fifteen hundred or five hundred or whatever, So
I will pay this.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
I just want to make sure it makes me a life.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Or no, no, no, Well, and I saw a gift card,
not a gift card, but like a club card that
someone has sent this woman because she had donated to
the cause. So these people have they've got fan clubs.
They've got things rolling out there and running. Please don't

(35:08):
fall for that now. Believe me, I understand the embarrassment
of falling for a scam.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
I get it. But I am not going to ask.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
I have no new publicist who is going to ask
you to you know, maybe you can have a personal
call from John like I did. No, it's not going
to happen. It is not going to happen. So please
don't fall for it.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
Just assuming to know, assume it's not John. John has
his Facebook. That's pretty much it.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
He'll he'll talk here and there on X or here
and there on Instagram, and it's almost Joway's Facebook.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
And it's the one account when one point two close
to one point three million followers.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
That's how you know. The people have five friends, it's
not John.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Oh my god. Yeah, the people who are one and.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
Twenty seven friends, that's not John. Take a look at
that number. That's how you figure it out because they
can't fake that.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
And the people and you know, while we're on it,
the people who that's not it. I don't care other
than anything in there anyway.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Plus, it's friede I'll be bad.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
It's Fried.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
It's been outside for like two months or something, or
since last time we're here and it's been cooking.

Speaker 3 (36:23):
Where you go? No, take that what you said, you'll
be back?

Speaker 1 (36:26):
I said it was Hey, everybody, everybody there.

Speaker 3 (36:30):
Look it's like, oh look it's a drive by d
d ing haha.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
And guess what it's not. John puts me up to it.
By the way, I.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Don't put you up tour yesterday.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Tell the truth.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I kind of directed her a little bit yesterday because
he was going the wrong way. If you just pay
attention to the camera, be camera savvy. Okay, So here
she's gone. So we're going to talk about political stuff.
My god, what is going on.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
With now? We have?

Speaker 1 (37:02):
We have Tulsa Gabbard? And thank you what an amazing
indication that she is not only not only telling the truth,
but she is telling the truth kind of against her

(37:23):
own Let's see in her monologue. I'm not quite sure,
but you know.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
This is a woman who was absolutely on the other.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Side for a long time, who then started to recognize
some discrepancies of integrity, shall we say, uh, and then
she came over it. Obviously she has been treated with
the with the respect. Obviously she has been given a
lot of responsibility, and obviously she takes those responsibilities seriously.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Like RFK Jr. By the way, who I am.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
I applaud what's going on there with Coca Cola, with
all the different things that because I was I was
a two hundred and forty five pound fifteen year old.
So if it weren't for diet and exercise in nineteen
seventy five, I would have been I was on my
way to being a three hundred pound eighteen year old.
But what Tulsi has discovered is that I guess I

(38:33):
have to say, allegedly what conservatives have thought since it
started was true that this.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Russian hoax was exactly that, this whole notion.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
That the Russians were hired by the Trump administration to
sabotage the Clinton campaign. We are learning just as we
all thought on I'm sure what side it is up there?
This is my left, I think that's your.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
Right anyway, that it's exactly the opposite.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
It was the Obama administration and the overconfident Clinton administration.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Who thought there was no way they could possibly lose.
It was them.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
This was a concerted, concerted right, concerted effort by a
seated president to undermine the chances of the next guy
or girl coming in. It is despicable, It is disgraceful.

Speaker 4 (39:55):
President Trump's getting millions of dollars from these news services.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
They they were cooperating, and they.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
President Trump was getting He.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Is getting millions of dollars.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
Oh yeah, he's b Owen, Sue. I'm sorry, I thought yeah,
but all in it together.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
CBS just had to write a check for sixteen million
dollars for that debacle of the sixty minute shows.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
What a shame. We talked about that when it happened here.
What a shame.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
One of the greatest television, one of the greatest hours
of television that's ever.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
Been designed since the inception of television.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
One of the most integris television shows, news shows ever
was sixty minutes. They decided to throw that all away
in one night, and now they have to write a
check for sixteen million dollars. Which opens up the door
because I saw it today where Trump says, Okay, you know,

(40:49):
now that this has happened, we're going after everybody, and
we should. And I'm very excited to see what he
does with that. May I guarantee he's not going to
keep it it's going to go to good use somewhere.
It's going to go to you and I. It's going
to go to us somehow, some way. But the reason
I bring that up is now, all of a sudden,

(41:10):
the word treason, treasonous, remedy, charged with, convicted of these
words are now being bandied about each and every day,
several times by both sides.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
And remember that guy John Schneier got in huge trouble
whenever he said, I.

Speaker 3 (41:32):
Use the T word, I believe, I.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
Believe, I think, and he's allowed to as an.

Speaker 4 (41:38):
American freedom of speech and thought that the president at
the time committed treason. And if you did, or if
you are convicted, this is what's going to happen to you.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
That's all John said.

Speaker 4 (41:51):
So then the news media and the enemy is said
John threatening the president.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
Want no, he did it, and then.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
Said, well, the Secret Services, secret Service, not a peep,
No Secret.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
Service ever shows up at our door.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
It's gonna be they're gonna say, we're sorry that all
these morons said what they said. We love dukes of hazard,
and we're sorry that that. You know, they basically defamed
the Secret Service by saying that nonsense. But people are
now talking about that.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
So, but you are way ahead of the game.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
Well I was, and it you know, doesn't really pay
to be ahead of the game, I suppose.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
But do you think, do you think that what.

Speaker 1 (42:34):
The Obama administration allegedly did during the twenty sixteen election
and then later during the twenty twenty election was treasonous?

Speaker 3 (42:45):
I do too, I absolutely do.

Speaker 4 (42:48):
Sad Yeah, And that's what President Trump saying is that
this is highly legal.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
It's treason, It's wrong. I can't even believe it.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
And you know, when he was attacked, attacked, attack one anyway,
they really they gave him such a hard time and
manipulated things, they shouldn't have, took money from where they
should shouldn't have, all kinds of crazy, crooked well.

Speaker 1 (43:11):
They fabricated, they fabricated an investigation, and then based all
of their allegations, suppositions, hypotheses, and convictions on a fabricated document.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
So what that's like biblically, that's clay feet.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
You know, if the statue has clay feet, you just
got to knock that little.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
Achilles tendon falls down. So it's it's in.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
What really riles me is that now once again these
people have been caught. They are still defending their treasonous activity.
They're still saying we're wrong. Oh no, no, that's not
that's not what we meant.

Speaker 3 (43:54):
That's no. Oh no, no, no, you misunderstand.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
And what did you say about somebody who's going one
hundred twenty miles an hour?

Speaker 3 (44:01):
They talked to the police officer.

Speaker 4 (44:03):
Oh right, just recently. It was something we were dealing
with that they were talking about. Well, I don't think
the intent was there, And I'm like, oh no, officer,
I didn't mean to go one hundred and twenty mile
an hour. I'm meant to go fifty.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Well you're not. They're not going to get the ticket.

Speaker 3 (44:17):
It doesn't matter. Oh oh it was a mistake.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
Yeah, and they're going to be a lot off because
they didn't have the intent.

Speaker 4 (44:23):
So many times I catch myself speeding. I'm like, oh
my gosh, I'm speeding. You have to slow it down.
But if your speed, you speed, you've done it. My
intent wasn't to be going eighty five, but I was, uh.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
You know, I'm talking hypothetical.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
But if you weren't doing any body doing eighty five,
even if you want to be going seventy five and
then seventy, well too.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
Bad, So don't really defend it.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
You can't defend it.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
And yet they keep trying like this, is it Colbert
who's going to have the uh? Or Kimmel or somebody
somebody I just heard made some big beat. You know,
now that I don't have basically, now that I don't
have a job, what I'm gonna do is I'm going
to I've got one more show, and I'm going to
say exactly what I think about who cares? And it's

(45:11):
like these like these these you do, these celebrity types
that say, you know, they're canceling their concerts in any
any Red states?

Speaker 2 (45:20):
Who cares?

Speaker 3 (45:21):
And you know, Howard Sterning out of Howard. I don't
know if you. I've actually met Howard.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
He is a pretty pretty decent guy, But I don't
know if it's you that actually said, uh, like you
don't want any any Trump? No Trump supporters watch my show? Well,
what Trump supporters do you think watch your show in
the first place? That many none unless they just want to,

(45:48):
you know, see the car on the side of the
road on fire upside down?

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Do you want to talk about your buddy?

Speaker 3 (45:59):
I did a Now we're getting some heat. We're getting
some heat about this. Probably he is too. But I
did a video years ago called the Bride for Trick Pony.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Here's a picture from the Bride. I am the groom
and Gene Simmons is the pastor. I didn't write it.
I didn't write it. Heidi from Trick Pony is the bride.
So we ran into Gene at the Knoxville Comic Con

(46:38):
and his wife, Shannon Tweed Simmons was on Dukes a
couple of times way way back when, so there's a
lot of there's a lot of history there. And we
were talking about doing the concert on Fremont Street in
Vegas and maybe we don't know anything about there may

(46:58):
be a stunt involved in that whole thing. And Jean
and the band Kiss has something going on like two
days before that, two days now after or after that.
So he's like, well, how can I help?

Speaker 3 (47:12):
What can we do?

Speaker 1 (47:13):
Well?

Speaker 4 (47:13):
He didn't, His folks did, so basically the concert that
John is doing into.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
The prem Yeah, but you know, do you know that
he really well?

Speaker 2 (47:22):
Free my Country Club November eight, so come on over.

Speaker 3 (47:25):
Put that new book.

Speaker 4 (47:27):
But before that, August first, go to Greenwood, Indiana, and
check John's Facebook page because we really want the Hoosiers
especially to show up there.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
Right.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
But for Geene Simmons, they're doing something in the Virgin
the fourteenth rough maybe the sixteenth or seventeenth, So we're
looking at the Kendile, well the thirteenth. We could do
something together. We'll talk to Gene, we'll figure out whatever.
So we were thinking possibly and if you all have
any ideas, why not.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
John wants to do a jump.

Speaker 4 (47:55):
I wanted to do a jump, but he wants to
do a jump into a stack of money.

Speaker 3 (48:01):
I want to jump real money.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
But sort of kind of monopoly money.

Speaker 4 (48:05):
No, really, you think we can get like the banks
and casinos to do really, I think.

Speaker 1 (48:11):
We could get a million one dollar bills. I want
to jump over a billion dollars in chips into the
money I want to.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
I want to land on the money.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
But if you land in chips, won't that hurt?

Speaker 3 (48:28):
You're not listening.

Speaker 1 (48:30):
I want to jump over a billion dollars in chips
into a million dollars in cash.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
That's what I want to do. With a general lead,
we'll we'll see what happens.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
Well, what comes up must come down, what goes up
must come down.

Speaker 3 (48:49):
It's going to be up. Oh my god, let's.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
Come back to David Clayton Thomas. Now there's some that's
a cow bell right there. So anyway, So pay attention
to what's happening in the world right now. We have
the midterms. They're going to be here before you know it.
Please remember what the liberal thinkers in your community are

(49:16):
doing to your community. Please remember that we're not going
to tell you what it is because we're not in
your community. We're not going to pretend to know what's
going on in your community. But I believe, by and large,
and I don't know why. It's a mystery to me.
I believe public servants should be concerned first and foremost

(49:38):
about the health and safety and well being of their constituency.

Speaker 3 (49:43):
I do believe.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
And someone will say that's naive, Well then I'm naive.
I do believe that conservative people have a tendency to
actually want to serve their constituency.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
Somewhere along the line.

Speaker 1 (50:00):
The liberal folks, and yes, Doge is investigating them. Thank god,
they are investigating the fact this is not allegedly but
the fact that many.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
Moderately paid public.

Speaker 1 (50:16):
Servants have become absurdly wealthy through public service.

Speaker 4 (50:24):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
It kind of is fishy. So we're going to get
to the boy. Who else is on the uh not
the chopping block yet? But was it Chuck Shumer?

Speaker 3 (50:33):
No?

Speaker 1 (50:33):
Who we saw Adam Schiff, A lot a lot of people,
a lot of people that thought.

Speaker 4 (50:38):
They were above it all too, and if they did it,
they should go as well.

Speaker 1 (50:42):
Absolutely, I'm not saying all Republicans are great, and I'm
not saying all Democrats are beast.

Speaker 4 (50:47):
Some people are compromised, clearly, because how'd you get so rich?

Speaker 2 (50:52):
And why are you voting so weird?

Speaker 4 (50:55):
And right right, I think, and I've said this before,
I think they're like, hey, we only need five votes
from you in this.

Speaker 2 (51:02):
Year, so here and there.

Speaker 4 (51:03):
If you see a Republican, I'm going to say Republican
because we know how they should vote, and if they
vote on something really weird the other way and I'm like, okay,
it makes you wonder if they're compromised and many of them,
where their.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
Money come from them?

Speaker 4 (51:16):
Why do they have gazillions of dollars in their account
and then they vote weird? I don't know, but it
seems logical that they're.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
Compromised, and we understand that that would be a hard
personal family decision. I think depends on how old your
kids are. Well, I think it depends on how old
your kids are. I think it depends kind of like
the people who sold out on Music Row. It would
be very difficult to have a piece of property on

(51:45):
Sixteenth Avenue that maybe you paid forty grand for or
maybe you probably didn't pay anything for it because you
got it in a will.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
No, I know that we.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
Now look it may be wrong in your eyes.

Speaker 1 (51:59):
Well, the other would say that they're not. They're not
buying votes. They are lobbying. They are lobbying for support.
You know, there's a different way about it.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
Biden would say that, oh no, they're not. My dad
has nothing to do with this.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
Sure, we found out that's not true too, right allegedly.
I'm just all I'm saying is you can it is
a matter of public record, how your how your local
uh public servants vote, So pay attention to it, That's all.
And when the time comes later, don't be so busy.
And I'm guilty of this too. I'm not pointing a finger.

(52:36):
I know I've got three fingers pointed back.

Speaker 2 (52:39):
The first degree love in the first degree. We've had
six and a half many.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
I don't know what I so pay attention, pay attention
to to how they vote in the past.

Speaker 3 (52:51):
Just pay attention, that's all.

Speaker 2 (52:52):
So speaking of love, we were just in coming.

Speaker 3 (52:54):
It's our anniversary. Oh right, goodness what love? We got
to wait.

Speaker 4 (52:59):
It was just like a pop up. We just said,
we know we're going to go to Covington tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
It was late, and we need a guitar, right generally
is And.

Speaker 4 (53:06):
An orange Corvette lined up and there was a big
crowd there and it wasn't just that crowd. That crowd,
and it grew and it grew and grew and grew.
Then there was another crowd.

Speaker 3 (53:15):
On the other We went to Mystic Tavern.

Speaker 2 (53:16):
Then there was another crowd. Yeah, Mystic Tavern too.

Speaker 4 (53:19):
But anyway, there are all these patches of folks I
wanted to see John and they're all very.

Speaker 3 (53:23):
Sweet, wonderful people.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
Is full of sweet, sweet people.

Speaker 3 (53:28):
Thank you coming.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
Then, by the way, one of the General Lee's she
said there were three there were two sixty nine chargers beautiful.
And then there was a I think it was a
twenty eighteen or twenty nineteen hell Cat Challenger, General Lee beautiful,
and then there was the Orange Corvette.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
And it was all beautiful and they were online up right.

Speaker 3 (53:47):
They're all lined up in front of the courthouse.

Speaker 2 (53:49):
It was wonderful. The Mystic Girl was great.

Speaker 3 (53:52):
And then we went to the mural.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
There's a beautiful mural there and you met the mother
of the of the young girl who painted it.

Speaker 4 (53:58):
Now I saw online it was like, heard me, excuse me,
Hernie is or a family member painted it.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
And it's such a good version of John.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Not that there's a bad and Tom and Chorl and
Jimmy caught everybody just perfectly.

Speaker 3 (54:11):
So it was really really beautifully done.

Speaker 2 (54:13):
Yes, so we those that's our third state or our
fifty state tour.

Speaker 3 (54:17):
And I didn't see my thing on the ground. Where
did you? Where was that?

Speaker 2 (54:21):
Someone posted?

Speaker 3 (54:22):
That's great.

Speaker 1 (54:23):
So there was a kind of like a Covington Walk
of Fame like the Hollywood Walk of Fame with my
name on.

Speaker 3 (54:29):
I'm very proud of that. Thank you, Thank you Covington
for that.

Speaker 4 (54:32):
Having people say come back, come back, we didn't know
you're coming, And that's true because you're and Aaron John
and I would you pop ups?

Speaker 3 (54:38):
Would you show up, yeah.

Speaker 4 (54:40):
And we may give a little known as and then
was it didn't matter. Everybody shout up anyway the night
before and.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
It was raining like a big dog.

Speaker 4 (54:47):
And then said that I will be there at lunch
or after, and people got there early and then just
stayed there to wait for this one. And it was
really great.

Speaker 3 (54:54):
And they were just waiting for you now too, because
a lot of people watch this show.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
Amazingly enough, there's a hat looking around they're they're looking
like when we're in summer set.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Oh, well, we found John because of your yellow hat.
So you know, it's all about the hat.

Speaker 3 (55:10):
It's all about the hat. Yep.

Speaker 4 (55:12):
And we are so thrilled about this fifty state tour.
We're doing it our way because it's like we want
we don't want to like.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Are away, Yes, are away making our dream.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
He was calm, true, bore me in you all around.

Speaker 1 (55:27):
Don't need to take it, take it, no need to
face somber moment.

Speaker 2 (55:33):
No, but I'm not done yet, okay, honey.

Speaker 4 (55:35):
So this is really important because we still need recommendations
for the different states. It's so funny because certain states
we have like twenty eight recommendations and then others don't
have anything. So if you think of places that are Jim.

Speaker 2 (55:49):
That's well, yeah, you know what kind of is gems
it has nowhere else. We want you to place some world.

Speaker 4 (55:57):
Historic significance, charm, something that you know, all American.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
We want to go.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
So we're going to go to every state. So we
are right now looking to Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
That's gonna be fun.

Speaker 3 (56:09):
That's gonna be a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (56:10):
But we can't we can't drive there and we can't
drive that's true.

Speaker 3 (56:14):
That's a long jump, so long jump.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
We're trying to get those. And then we'll be going
to Alaska.

Speaker 3 (56:19):
Maybe a boat, maybe a boat to Hawaii. We may
fly if we have to.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
And remember that we have the Smallville Cruise next year,
and we're talking about maybe doing a Duke's kind of
a cruise, but not out on the big water right here,
because because last week I don't know if we posted
this last week in the show or not, but last
week we saw this boat here put this picture up
Tony that was moored right down here at the end

(56:45):
of Jefferson Street.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
They were interested in John.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
Yeah, so that'd be fun, all right. I know we
don't have much time. I want to. Uh.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
I guess as you get older, these things happening, these
things two minutes, these things happened. But one of the
one of the dearest friends of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals
was Malcolm Jamal Warner way back when we first started
and throughout our forty something years, if we ever needed anything,

(57:13):
Malcolm was there, just like that. And Malcolm, I just
I read yesterday had passed away in Costa Rica. He
had drowned and Costa Rica and we are so sorry,
our condolences to the family of this wonderful, wonderful human being.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
I was.

Speaker 1 (57:37):
I had no idea this happened. And you could have
knocked me over with a feather when I saw that. So,
like I said, heaven is a much better place. But
we will miss you for the rest of our breath,
my friend, thank you for blessing me with our friendship
and mine.

Speaker 4 (57:55):
After that, we heard about Ozzy Osbourne, which is very sad.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
And I don't think I didn't know. I didn't know Izzie.

Speaker 2 (58:02):
I did meet Cheering.

Speaker 4 (58:03):
I was on the talk mixing a drink, believe it
or not, and she was lovely. So this was she
We're doing food and drink and I was mixing a
champagne cocktail and she was so funny and so nice.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
But you know that's so sad for the family.

Speaker 1 (58:17):
Hang on to your friends, uh, you know, because like
I said, we're getting older.

Speaker 3 (58:22):
Here is to Lou Forigno. There's a picture of me
and Lou.

Speaker 1 (58:26):
And I was a big fan of the Hulk before
Dukes of Hazard started and then Duke's Duke's and the
Hulk made he and I very good friends over the
last many many years.

Speaker 3 (58:37):
It was great, like Eric astrona great.

Speaker 2 (58:39):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (58:41):
But to make sure the people that you love know
that you love them.

Speaker 2 (58:44):
I love you, I love you.

Speaker 3 (58:45):
To kiss.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
What happy happy annivers We're almost.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
Done, but I can't kiss you more kisses?

Speaker 3 (58:58):
Oh well, so should it's my anniversary. Kiss me, Come on,
thank you, thank you. Who do we see? Always saw
Danny Treyhill. We saw a bunch of people, but I
know about it. During this time, I had something my
good I've worked.

Speaker 4 (59:12):
With everybody the Dallas cast because that was another Friday night.

Speaker 3 (59:15):
Oh that was great.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
It was so much fun.

Speaker 3 (59:17):
That was great. But that was Knoxville. I think we
talked about that, but I had.

Speaker 2 (59:20):
To mention it because of Blue and Friday Night.

Speaker 1 (59:22):
In the whole day, right, Remember Superman Repaired is going
to also be here so you can watch that.

Speaker 3 (59:29):
Timers off, Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 1 (59:31):
Thank you very much, thanks for tuning in to Drinks
with Dedi and Beautiful.

Speaker 2 (59:37):
That's perfect, husband.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
John, Happy anniversary to you. Thank you. We're going to
figure out on our first anniversary.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
Oh, I think we missed our first anniversary of the podcast,
did we? Oh have to figure it out anyway, Thanks,
don't make me serious. The Pennsylana Pan We'll figure it
out anyway. God bless you. Take care of yourselves.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Make sure that the people you love know that you
love them.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Okay, make sure and we will see you next week
to don't tell them what's gonna happen to me now
and then until then, there has been drinks with John.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Bye. I love you,
