Speaker 1 (00:16):
Hey, everybody, it's that time again. It's time for drinks
with d and John.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yep, that's me, Love you mean it. You look great,
you're you look like Valentine's Day. Actually, you got your
red scarf, you got your red lipstick, you got your
red hat, you got red accents on your skirt.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Is that a skirt? It's all one piece.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Ye, you're right, but the skirt part of the dress,
it kind of makes sense. But it's got a lot
of shapes and size. It's a truly cool it's a psychdelic.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
It's a cubic laughing, not cubic.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
We just saw a gentleman in Indianapolis that had the
quintessential laughing. Sure, if you don't know what laughing, I
know he would because I looked at his shirt and
I said, you know what I have to say, said
what I said, sock it to me, so he knew
he said, inn't funny. We remember Rowan and Martin's laughing,
and we can't remember breakfast. Kind of the sign of age. Anyway,
we've been. We've been everywhere, man.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
We've been everywhere. Man.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
We were in Nashville, had a wonderful, wonderful time in Nashville,
Jamie and Brittany. They had their beautiful wedding and during
the actual ceremony, gorgeous, no rain, no no hail. The
size of my fists. But as soon as they I did,
it came down.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
We didn't run, but we walked really super duper past
because it was coming. You could feel it coming. And
sure enough it was baseball sized hail.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I've heard about that, and I never really believed, believe
get it. So these actually looked like the uh not
the Cone of Silence, that's maxwell smart, No, the fots
of solitude, like on small you know, have a big
jutting ice. It was obviously on a smaller level, but
this thing was truly somewhere. It was a little bigger

(02:09):
than a baseball, uh and not quite as big as
a softball, but it was. It was laying there in
the grass and the guy said, go over there, grab
that and I'll take your picture. I thought she had
lost like a magnolia blossom off of her hat or something,
because that's how big it was. And she went over
and grabbed it and took a picture, and I thought,
my god, that is one of those hail hail balls. Yeah,

(02:32):
hail balls. Well, just hail, hail, that's one of those hails.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
And if it drop it chromatically that would not be good.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Oh he said, yeah, I'm going to take your pictures,
so let's get out of here because we don't get
a hit with one of those things. But the reception
was in a beautiful, beautiful building at the quarry, kind of.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Like a barn, but a fancy one.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Well, and then outside of it they had a clear
plastic tent, so which was really great because it would
rain on and off, but I mean see the way,
big time rain. So they did a great job of
keeping most of the rain out of the place where
all the people were, and that was was really good.

(03:11):
So we saw some friends, saw some people haven't seen before.
Got to introduce d D to Jim Moose Brown who
wrote he's a he's a wonderful keyboard player, but he
wrote five o'clock somewhere, so that was.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Clock somewhere and it was so nice. Jamie and Brittany
months ago said, you know, we love to feature your
moonshine at the wedding, and they are sure enough did
because they did. It was at the very top and
they made the signature cocktails or at least Jamie's with
the moonshine. It was fabulous.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
It was on your phone.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I'm going to send I'm going to send a picture
to Tony right now so that he remembers to include that,
to incorporate that into the podcast so you.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Can see it. So it was great.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Everybody had a wonderful, wonderful time. She was dancing with
the kids, right so she's, you know, the certainly the
tallest child in the room.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I always worn out body, you know, but they you know, kids,
they don't stop you go on it.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Well, yeah, people say, forgive the question, but how old
are you? I think they were like pretty much, what
in the world, how are you?

Speaker 1 (04:17):
How are you doing that?

Speaker 3 (04:19):
I don't know, I don't I don't know. They were
sweet and it was really great.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
I'm gonna send a couple of pictures.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Keep talking, baby, I'm going to send a couple of
pictures to Oh, I'm the one that has the video
of you dancing with the kiddos. Yeah, I'm going to
find the find the moonshine.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
So we had a great time, and you know, we're
trying to get golfing again because most of you know,
we really left off. But today it's cold. It was rainy,
fifties and it's rainy, and you know, there was no
reason to rush to play off. It's not going to happen,
but hopefully tomorrow the next day, and then we're going
to have West again. It's very exciting.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
We're going to have what we're.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Going to ahead West.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I guess okay, oh yeah, it is exciting.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
But this time we hear that train of coming coming
rolling round the Bind. I ain't seen the sunshine sincere By,
so we're gonna.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Actually take the train. We're gonna be That's not the
right song. So I don't know when you say that
do do do do do do do do? No? You did?
You did that song? Have about now? Yeah? About five now,
somebody tell me what the name of that song is.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
But that's different than do don't damp damn down, damp down.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
It's very close.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
No, well, I like it.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I like it too, But it's rolling around the bind.
So we're gonna go up to Kansas City and get
on the train. We're gonna see we're gonna see Rob
Carson and.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Jo Rob Carson with him today and it was really
great repartee.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yep, yep.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
And it was hard on my end because I had
an echo for some reason, so I'd say hey Rob,
Hey Rob, so I'd have to try to ignore the
second me and listen to what his questions were. So
if you haven't listened to the podcast or you listen
to his radio program and you wondered what was why
was John interrupting Rob?

Speaker 1 (06:19):
All, Well, it was difficult. It was hard to do,
but it was a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
You spent some time in Indianapolis too. Let me stay
at the Conrad. That was really great.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
We did.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
We ate the Capitol Grill had wonderful What do we
have last night?

Speaker 1 (06:34):
It was great.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Clam chowder was great at the Capitol Grill and people
were very nice. But it was a little chilly last
night too. We're hoping to get up and I was
going to get up and run this morning, but that
wasn't going to happen because it was probably when I
got up, it might be fifty degrees and I know
that's not I mean, certainly there are people right now
that are dealing with much colder only have shorts and

(06:57):
a T shirt though, So you know, enough, no, and
we have to We're going to we're going out west
because we have, uh, we're going to see a wonderful show.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Think you remember call Callie Kellie. I think you'll remember.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
We were in Palm Springs not that long ago. We
saw Ruda Lee's show and I think that was kind
of her kind of a dress rehearsal. Yeah, kind of
a dress rehearsal and warm up for what's what's coming
next week. So we're going to go see that show
as well.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
And One is hosting DEDI One is hosting.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
She is the the owner of the Hollywood Museum where
the Duke's the Duke's exhibit is and also Herbie. I
want I want to look at it too. But who's
going to be there? We we we were amiss. We
we left a little thing on on on the last podcast.
We dedicated the last last podcast to Ruth Buzzy. Ruth

(07:53):
was a dear friend and she was wonderful. She was
in you know, of course Roland Martin's laughing. She was
had a wonderful comedic duo with another friend of mine
who's gone, which is Dom Delaize.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
But we uh, his birthday, I don't even know that.
Oh my gosh, that's fantastic and she looks great.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
She does, but we wanted, we wanted to say we
love you, Ruthie, You're fantastic. And prayers to Kent Perkins,
her husband of many, many years.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
We love both of you.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
The reason I'm bringing this up is another alumnist, alumnist
from Ronan Martin's Laughing is none other than joe Anne Warley.
Boris right, and she's going to be there, and I've
not seen I've not seen Joanne other people.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
On here performers.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Really, you can make me try to read that.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
I can read it.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Angelian Oh terrific. I know Angelia, Joe Anne Worley know her. Uh,
Fritz Coleman, Oh, fantastic, Charles Herrera.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Vilanche and.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Jerre Jerry Am not sure, Jared, but.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
We'll find out. We'll know the show.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun.
There's the beautiful, there's the picture. So if you happen
to be in Los Angeles, Uh, where is it going
to be?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Oh, it's probably not.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
It's at the l Portal Theater, eight o'clock performance and
there's going to be an after party. And you know,
I think that this is her ninetieth. It's her ninetieth birthday.
But I'll tell you what, this woman is a professional
after party thrower.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Oh yeah, it's going to be great.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
And she was wonderful with the Purple Room in Amazing,
so I'm sure this will be even better.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
She's one of those folks that sings a song and
even though you've heard it Lifely Me to the Moon,
she'll sing Sinatra kind of stuff and you'll swear that
she's writing it on the spot.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
You know.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Can she tells stories, Yeah, and she tells stories in between.
But she's one of those people, as they say in
the biz, she owns the music. So it's really really great.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Look her up.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
You'd be shocked.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
She's on every every television show, and Andy Griffin on Mannix,
on The Wild Wild West.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
On mash On. She'd been on everything. She was not
on Dukes, so the only thing she.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Wasn't on but the Ukridge Boys were in Elvira.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Yeah, Richard sturbin O silver Way, Yeah, that's right, that's right, and.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
You did you got it right.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
So I just did a video for the Flat River Band.
I always said flat rock because the Boar's Nest was
on flat rock.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Road.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
But I just did a video for the Flat River
Band and they are doing they have done a duet
a song Leaving Louisiana and the broad Daylight.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Hell you never have I.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Don't know all those words, but that's the song that
the Oakridge Boys sang at the Boor's Nest when they
got caught in Boss Hog's Celebrity speed Trap. So they've
redone that song and they're doing a video where I'm
calling on the phone kind of like the CB where
I'm calling on the phone to the bus and telling them, look,
I hear you're you're going to go try to spend
some time with Uncle Jesse.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
If you're going to do that, you.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Got to be careful because if you go one mile
over the speed limit, they will put you in that
boar's nest and you'll be there for the next forty
six years, like the Oaks have been. So it's pretty fun.
Gonna be a lot of fun. I don't know when
that video is going to come back.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
No, what was the celebrity speed trap.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
It was a speed trap for celebrities, I know, but.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Maybe some people don't know. Do you know on dukes
of hazard they would catch celebrities in the speed Trap,
and Boss Hog would make them perform at the boars Nest.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
To pay their fine.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I think that's so clever.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
I think it's great. Yeah, so we're probably going to
do that on the Earls of Perry. In fact, I'm
sure we are. And the first band that we're going
to have caught in the speed trap, of course, the
Flat Riverband. Why not do they know that they do?
I told him that they were leaving wonderful, said, you're gonna.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Be there, very sweet, and a video will be killed
and their brothers.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
So the harmony is beautiful. It's wonderful. Their harmony is great.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
So that was fun.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
So that was Nashville. Nashville was a great time.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
We didn't get to play golf. We went to a
big kid rocks, big ass honky Tonk steakhouse. Is it
a big ass honkey talker steakhouse?

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Rocks bigs honky Tonk steakhouse?

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Really?

Speaker 3 (12:31):
You know?

Speaker 2 (12:31):
It was all that dot com dot com anyway.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
That was a lot of fun and.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
You enjoyed visiting with him.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I did to, I did. I didn't. We didn't see
him that night. We saw him the next night. We
saw him at the wedding. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Uh, Brittany gorgeous, great guy, fun Oh my gosh, Brittany,
Well you see the pictures there, just show these pictures
at random, Tony, but uh, and Bobby's.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
A nice Britney was beautiful.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
You know, they're all great.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, yeah, you know it's funny.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
He's uh, both both of them, both Jamie and and
Kid rock are. You know, they're larger than life personalities
on stage, but they're very They're quiet, I would say,
quiet and calm and very unassuming.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
John's a lad one of those three in a good way.
But he is You are the e extrovert gregarious one, Yes,
for sure.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
We've been playing with words here today, so we're going
to use big words like gregarious, big boy words, big
boy words. I can use them in a sentence, but
I cannot spell them.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
That's okay, that's.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Right, don't say that name. It'll stop our timer.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
My gosh, I just discovered something today and as we
had lunch at Mad Love, we didn't even come home yet,
but we were hungry. We were going to do this
podcast from the excursion, but it's a Diesel number one wow,
and it was not going to work. Out very well.
But I heard a song. Oh gosh, Jimmy Hendricks. Uh

(14:01):
not Old Joe. But we're listening to a song and
uh it might be Old Joe. Look it up and part.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Of it was bat bump, right, And then I thought,
freaking moment, Oh that's interesting too, that's.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
What it sounds like to me.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Well, this was it.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Uh, it is exactly I'm want to hold out of love.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Moda bodown pump dump motown in it. I can't sing
Robert Plan, but that's well, you gotta go to Madla.
But that is that is led Zeppelin. Uh why give
it my loved bump dump put the.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Dump down down bump that exact lick. And that was
I think seventy six, that exact lick. I freak out
about things like this.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
It wasn't. That's why I call you one.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
That melody you sing, That exact lick was on a
Jimmy Hendrick song in nineteen sixty six. So I quick
and which which one of these were first? So I
like to catch I like to catch things like that.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
That's why is not try it again? Now you're singing
what I'm singing.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
That's not what you were saying I have been doing
it the whole time. You just know, I'm telling you.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
You just wandered into it. You wanted it anyway.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
What's happening in the world, Ddie, what happened? What's happening
in the world is great on one hand and just
terrible on the other hand.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
We were reading.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
About the couple who was about to be engaged next
week that were assassinated for being Jewish.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Enter state are United States Capitola right there in DC Jewish.
I don't remember exactly the name of it, but basically
the Jewish Museum, the museum, and there was a meeting
or whenever. They came out, happy, happy, happy, the sweet
young couple.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
In this jerk horbor murderer came up like he knew
them though, like he knew because there was a witness,
a witness. He said, free Palestine, bang bang, and then
free Palestine.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Okay, buddy, you know, make a poster, don't shoot.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
No, my god, it's terrible.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
If you want to exercise your freedom of speech, that's
what it is.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
It's speech, you know. And if you are, if.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
You're supporting Hamas and God, I hope you're not watching
this podcast and supporting Hamas. But if you are, that
is your right, wave a flag, scream, you know, be
an idiot somewhere, But don't take someone's life. And you know,
by and so doing, you've taken your own. You know
you've rendered yourself. You have now you've removed your your

(16:52):
freedom of speech, you removed your freedom of anything.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
I think they've got electrictures.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Still, certain I think they do.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
And if not, I got the electric suit. If you
wear it in the shower, it will hurt you.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
So what the hell are people thinking? What is that
going to do? Is that is? And this is random?
These are two lovely people who.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Were apparently going to going to get engaged next week.
Now I'm not sure how we know that well, because
you would think you would think.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
No, someone told folks that this couple, they're wonderful couple.
He had the ring, he was going to ask her
to marry him, and then he gets shot. And they're young,
they're like twenty years old or something.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Yeh, terrible.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
So in our nation's capital, in Washington, d C. And look,
I've lived in Washington, d C. It can be a
little dicey, but not that dicey. That's horrible.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Well, everywhere can be a little dicey.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
But it seems to me that what's happening lately is
people are people are just abusing what they think their
their freedoms are.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
I think they've gone absolutely nuts up.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
I mean, you know one, well, and then we've got
what's her name that we want? Sorry, baby, we want
to deport the woman, get rid of her. The representative.
I can't remember that. Yeah, and she refused to say
this was a bad thing. She was like, well, we're
not going to talk.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
About that right now.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Yeah, of course you're not. But everybody else is.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Lady, Please God, take these folks who are the squad
that's getting rid of of innocent lives. Take these folks
who are really the antithesis is that, right, the total opposite,
the antithesis of the American dream of what our country
was founded on and what our country is. Please take them,

(18:40):
Shine a light on them so that they can be
found by ice like that mayor my god, you know,
assaulting a police that's what it is. It's assaulting a
police life.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
And it's wrong. They did it. It's like, okay, it's
just nuts, it's nuts.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
And now we've got we've got President Donald Trump, who
is uh, there was he had a very direct conversation
with the president of South Africa, right, and there are
some people in South Africa that absolutely need asylum, and
he is granting it to them. They can come to
this country and they can become citizens of this country

(19:24):
because they may die where they are. They probably will.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
They threatened white bar if you are if they really say,
if you're a white barber, we're going to kill you.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah. Either.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
So now we've got all these these these they're not
so silent minority in the United States of America, the
greatest country of the world has ever known, calling Donald
Trump now a racist because he is granting asylum to
white people.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
But they are picking them out as white people to kill.
So there's no reason. It's not random like okay, we're
going to go his spending this week as next week. No.
I mean they in South Africa people are saying, because
you're white and white farmers, we're going to kill you.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Well right, well, okay, let's get out of here, are
we too?

Speaker 1 (20:11):
And I would applause, I would applaud Donald Trump for that.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
And you can't compare this these I think it's like
one hundred and twenty five people.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Forgive me if that number is wrong, but.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
You can't compare that to the millions of people who
were just let in to our country completely unvetted. Actually
we knew that many of them were bad people and
let them in anyway, with the.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
What's this pen they're talking about the autopen.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
The autopen? Yeah, so who was signing these things? They're
saying now they don't think Joe Biden was even.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Aware because they would just do an autopen.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
Yeah, but by god, what's that moron? Who's trying to
backpedal with it? Now? We've got people writing books.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
We got Scarborough, Scarborough saying you know, well, you know
when I said that he was great. You know a
lot of people have good days and bad days. I
guess I just found him on a go kiss my,
you are so full of it. You made a horrific mistake.
You sold your country out for your ratings, You sold
your country out for your allegiance to a dying party,

(21:13):
and now you're trying to make excuses for it. Why
don't you and forgive my chauvinistic saying, why don't you
man up for a second, Why don't you grow a
set and saying on me, sorry, baby, say hey, you
know what I made a mistake. I knew this guy
was not one hundred percent. I knew this guy wasn't

(21:34):
even thirty percent own up to it. But none of
them are, they refuse, none of them are, and they
still feel like somehow they are protecting their integrity and
the integrity of journalism. Well, let me tell you something, friends,
if you're a journalist, your job is to get to
the bottom of things, find out what the truth is.

(21:56):
Your job is not just to take what Jimsaki he
said at face value and then go out and report
it to your constituency. You're a journalist. You are supposed
to figure things out. You're supposed to dive deep and
figure things out before you open your big yap and
tell people something that is patently false.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
But I tell you you did this job, and nobody's
given him credit for it. But Peter Doucy, you know
who Peter Doucy is from Fox News, Steve Doocy's son,
So anyway, so he would represent Fox News, and he
has seven times about the president's cognitive ability.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Yeah, trying to be nice here, look.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Over the green light, baby, trying to be nice here,
So but you know his mental state seven times ever said, well,
nobody asked about it, really what he did, and he
played it so good for you, Steve Doozy.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Yep, he played it over and over.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
So why is it that the people, conservative folks, Republican folks,
the people on the right all noticed the cognitive decline,
the physical decline of then President Joe Biden, and nobody
on the left notice saying he had.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Cancer, which is even worse. And now he's like, well, the.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Last time he had he was checked was in twenty fourteen. No,
that's what they said.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
I know, but I'm just saying that is not possible.
They checked the president at least annually. There's a doctor
on the premises at all times.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Right, Yeah, it's right in the same it's in the
White House, right, So it's a doctor there. So there's
no excuse for this unless you know there were things
that you did not want to see. Of course, you're
so dedicated to your to your narrative that you don't
want to see something.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
I remember when President Trump just kind of slid down
like a slippery slope, icy icy ramp.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Oh and he got it done.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
He got down there. Oh my god, there's something wrong
with him. He can't even walk anymore.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Come on, well, and they just tried a couple of
days ago. I saw something.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
He was in Saudi Arabia walking down a hall and
he seemed to be walking a little, you know, less
than a straight line. There's no police officer asking in
the touch.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
He only seeks like two hours a n right.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
God. But and they were saying, look, you know, he
can't even walk a straight line.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
We need to This was before the cancer thing came out,
so as recently as four days ago, they were still
trying to smoke screen the health and the cover up
of Biden's health during his presidency.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
And I'm going to jump on the Jill Biden bandwagon
that I think was horrible.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Oh elder abuse, elder. I don't like Joe Biden, I
never have, but that's elder abuse.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Almost more because I would never I would never let
you be in a situation where you're hurting yourself, or
people are abusing you, or like you're not doing well.
I think it's kind of pretty though.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
The life coming through our back and it's coming through
your hat.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Oh yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
It almost looks like like where this is not green screen.
This is we just got home.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
It doesn't green screen.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
It does it looks like because it's coming right through
your head. But this I turned my head sideways. It'll
come through my ear. I'm kidding.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
But yeah, she's I think she's guilty. Everybody's guilty of
the cover up, but she is guilty of all the questions.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Oh good Joe. In the United States, how do we
mean this?

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Scarborough? This man is sharpro. This man is on his game.
This man is one hundred percent really well.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
On a wonderfully positive note. We are going to start
the fifty state Tour, the Happy Birthday America Tour. July
far coming right up.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
So we're gonna do that. We are starting It sounds
like we're starting on July third.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
We're not.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
We're starting the concert. We'll start at about eleven thirty
at night here in Madison, July third, and roll into
July fourth. Which is we got this from when they
celebrated Mickey Mouse's birthday. We realize that twenty twenty six
is the actual two hundred and fift year that we
are celebrating into twenty twenty six, the whole year. So

(26:17):
the whole year now with Mickey Mouse, they celebrated the
year up to and the year after.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
We ain't doing that now. That's we're not doing.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
That anti climactic. We'ren't going to year ship a year
July fourth this year to July fourth next year. It's
going to be amazing. So again, you all have given
a lot of ideas. If you want to be a host,
if you want to put an event together, if you
want to do something, if you want to be a
part of it, let us know and we'll take a look.

(26:45):
I mean, scheduling is a hard part for sure, but
if we have friends on the ground where we go,
that's a big help. We would love that.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
And also to show up some of the shows like
this show here will be with the Whole Band, the
Stars and Bars Band will be here, Keith Burns is
going to be here. Cody actually has a gig somewhere else.
But then the next day, can I tell where we're
going to be the next day? The next day we're
going to be in Dunlap, Tennessee. So actually the afternoon
of the fourth evening of the actual fourth we'll be
in Dunlap, Tennessee. Whole Band, Stars and bars. I think

(27:15):
Keith is going to join for that too, but certainly
Cody will be there kind of hair like one of
those just kind of oh yeah, probably one of my
one of my eyebrows. They poked me in the eye
all the time. I'm trying to be better stop at anyway.
So that's where we will be on the fourth. So

(27:35):
some of the shows will be the whole band like that.
Like I think we're talking about going back to Floriabama
and playing a couple of songs on the Florida side
and then a couple of songs on the Alabama side
to take care of those two states in one night.
So that'll be the whole band. And on this side
of the world, on this side of the Mississippi, it'll

(27:56):
likely be the whole band until we get up around
I don't know, maybe New Jersey. So New Jersey and
we're talking to Uh. I just text my my dear friend,
UH woke pat let up. I just text him uh.
And this was her idea. We're driving in the excursion and.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
So it's Florabama and the and you came up with
the places for Alaska and Honolulu.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
I mean why, I don't think Flora Bama was right.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
I was telling my idea for sure, for sure. No,
it was it was my sure anyway, because you said
you had played there before, and I thought we can
get two states done. That'd be great.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
I didn't just say I played there before as a
random thought.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
So we talk about playing there.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
No, but I remembered you saying that. Anyway, I's a
good word team.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
So right, and we're talking also to to Tom.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
Excuse me, I haven't talked to him yet. He doesn't text.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
He does not text.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
No, and if he does, it's like, okay.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
And you might get him on the phone.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
You get him on the phone easier than you get
a touch, but uh, not that easy.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
I didn't. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
So anyway, what I'm what we're talking about when I
whenever he talks back, we'll be doing our our Christmas show,
uh in a couple of places around Christmas. I'm hoping
for New Jersey, New York and Wisconsin.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Johnny, it's cold outside.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
That's gonna it's great.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
If you haven't heard the uh, the Tom wopat John
Schneider Christmas album Home for Christmas, It's awesome. It's awesome,
it really is. So we'll do iff.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
But now that takes a whole big band, that's a
different band, that's that's his band, that's that's a horn section.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
And all kinds of really fancy, fancy stuff. My fingers
are crossed. I hope we'll get to do that, but
I just want to tell you that there's going to
be the the whole band version.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
There may be the the Tom John and big band version.
Then there will be the John and uh maybe Joe Hudson,
my buddy Joe. I hope you're watching version where it's
it's me and my guitar and Joe and his guitar.
They'll probably probably be some John and Keith Burns shows somewhere,

(30:05):
and it's gonna be a lot of fun. There's also a.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Dear friend of mine, Bobby, We're going to be in,
not kid rock, We're going to be who I'll be
doing the show in Anchorage, Alaska with, and it'll be
fun and Florida I'm sorry Hawaii Hawaii no Hawaii as well.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
And also we're going to be really clever. Are we
are corners.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
I'm hoping I can put a I'm hoping I can
put a barstool at four.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
Corners yeah, the big band won't be at four Corners.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
No, maybe an.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
Instrument in state. Don't know, we'll see. Yeah, it's going
to be some suggestions or venues or you know, different things,
because we want to have the writing and we want
to catch the flavor and personality of that state, because
our country is wonderful each and every state. Some maybe
more so than others, but every state counts and every
state's wonnerful. So we're going to go to every one

(31:05):
of them and find some way to celebrate the two
hundred and fiftieth birthday, the Sester centennial, which is a mouthful,
the Sester Centennial. Yes, okay, that's what we're celebrating.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Right, No, I know that's great. I can't wait. I
think it's gonna meet a lot of prin honey.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
I wanted to bring up cyber signings because there's a
gentleman that ask every week are you ever going to
do cyber signings? And I don't even really know what
that is. I assume like people say that they want
a certain item or the how does that work?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
We used to do cyber signings at the store at
John Schneider Studios, So what that meant was for one hour,
not every week, every couple of weeks. If you bought
something kind of like a telethon, If you buy something
during that hour, then I would sign it. Okay, because
at the store, if you buy without a signature, it's

(32:01):
one price. You buy a DVD with a signature, it's
another price. You buy a DVD with a signature personalized,
that's another price. Yet, so that would save you the
uh save a lot. It would save forty bucks. But
I'm not at that location anymore.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Well you had to be at that location.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
No, I kind of do because we'd send them out
right away too. That was a part of the big thing.
I would sign it while we're talking, Oh DD wants
to die for, So I'd signed to die for and say, look,
they're ded to die for. So it kind of we
need to have, Oh go get one of those shirts, Luke,
We'll get one of those.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
It was a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Well, I would bet I would think in the future,
will do that, mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
I hope so well, they could be great.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
Thinking of hazard by the way, so hazard the he
was talking of what, well, I'm thinking if you think
if you had the same setup which we've been talking
about the same setup in that was in Louisiana. Moving
to Hazard, Kentucky.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Oh yeah, deal, Oh then absolutely yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
But also something else about Hazard. A lot of things
going on there for us. But also we're going to
have the John Schneider Summer movie season.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
Oh that's right, starting soon.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
Yeah, So it's going to be starting with Stand on It, Stand.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
On It, Poker Run to Die For right around around oh,
stand on It to Die For for the fourth of July,
because it's always Fourth of July at my house, Poker Run,
and then a little bit later maybe maybe we'll do.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
Christmas in August.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
We'll show Christmas Cars and then show Christmas Cars again
around Christmas time. So that's exciting for us. It's going
to be a lot of fun. If you're anywhere near Hazard,
then please come out and see them. The movies are
going to be shown from a DVD, though I'm not
sure where my it's called a DCP. You don't need
to know all this, but there's a there's a hard drive.

(33:52):
When you show a movie in a movie theater, it's
called a digital Cinema package. And somewhere in all the
moves the DCP for those films they're in a box
somewhere and maybe Luke will find them.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Maybe not. I hope so. But it's still gonna be great.
It's gonna be great.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
And uh, our dear friends there and hazard have agreed
to do this.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
It's gonna be wonderful. And then we're gonna film there
of course. Uh. I can't wait. I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Did you get in touch with your friends tonight to
tell him you're not doing a comedy.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Show after the show? After the podcast?

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Oh, she's gonna break her friend's heart.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
No, I'm not, because he gets a part in the show.
He's gonna be very.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Well.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
He's not gonna see. I'm going to text right after.
He'll know before everybody else. It's okay, I'm not kidding.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
He will. Course, he wouldn't be thrilled. He'll be great,
he'll be swell.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
But we've got to we've got big trialing to do,
because again we're take the train out west and then
come back at least at Kansas City. It's going to
be fun and we kind of want to do part
of the tour as a whistle stop, so we will. Wow,
well done.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
I did Sound of Music, the News come along, I
can't do it.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Sound up music, you can do that part.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
No, I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
I'm raspy because at the at the wedding the other night,
I was singing high. They had a great like seventies band.
So I'm singing with the with earth wind.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
And fire music and they were so good. I can't
sing anymore. It'll be fun though.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
Another scam. That's another scam that's come up because you're
trying to bring it up.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
My God, the more we preach against these things, the
worse it gets.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
They're just like bots or something, or they're they're like locus.
I means, yeah, we post something and they're all over it.
John does not have telegram.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
I am not on telegram.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
He is not going to respond like that to anything.
There is no time. But every day at least one
person says, hey, I don't think this is true, but
is this John? I got a message?

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Yeah, yeah, no, you did not.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
He doesn't do that. He doesn't have time to do that.
Not happening unless you know him as a friend. He's
not going to randomly and just send you a message.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
So we have a guy. We have a guy in
the office. He's been there on and off for a
long time named Martin Burrow b R E A U X.
And he's been answering for me because I don't even
have to you know, you see how much we travel around.
I don't even have time to answer the questions about
whether or not this is legit. Okay, So I don't
have a telegram account. I'm not communicating with you late

(36:41):
at night.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
He's not asking for a day because he's very married.
And Mary, I'm happy already.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
I'm happy. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
So so death to us part so by.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Scammers. Cut it out, just cut it out.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
And here's the other thing. Now, they're offering a piece
of John's business if yeah, you need to know that
one so a few people have said, you know, I've
got an offer about getting into John's business, having a
cut of it if if I invest No.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Oh my da, no no, no, no, John, do it.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
These people all they want to do is grab your money.
And whether it's five dollars, five thousand dollars. One lady
said that they scammed or out of what twenty grand.
It was a lot, I mean insanity. John doesn't do
any of that. John has his Facebook page. It's pretty
much the only place and there's one that's it.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
You can get to any any legitimate place you can
get to on my app.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
So go to the store. Go to the app store.
It's free.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
It'll work on your Android, it'll work on your iPhone.
It'll work, I think you. Yeah, you can get to
it on your desktop, your laptop too. It's called John Schneider.
It's a portal that'll take you to Instagram, Facebook, the Store,
Cineflix where you can watch some movies. It'll take you
every legitimate place. If it's not on the app, I

(38:01):
don't have it, Okay, So it really is upsetting when
I when I go to stop to read. You know,
we do a wonderful post or something. In all the
posts about Jamie and Brittany's wedding the other night, about
every third response had a scam in there, pretending to
be my children, pretending to be me, pretending to be
my new publicist, you know, saying hey, you know I

(38:25):
just talked with John and maybe you can be No,
don't do it, don't do it.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
I sort of sound like Captain Kirk. Don't it's fuck,
don't do it. I'm a rocketman.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
Do you like William Shatner.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
You know I yeah, yeah, you met him before, right, Yes,
I've met him. I think he's hysterical. I love what
he does. He's a bit well, he's ninety something years old.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
I'd be grumpy in ninety I'm grumpy sometime.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
I'd g I'd be happy I made it that far.

Speaker 2 (38:57):
Yeah, yeah, I think he's He's a very interesting guy.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
He's an interesting guy. But why do we Where do
we go? Oh? He was not at the event.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
We just did a comic con in Ontario, California.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
I can't believe we're going back to California already.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Oh the gold Jan Calible.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (39:23):
Larry Stephen Ruddy Bank in the middle of Beverly Hills
and somebody else his name. So we did comic con
in Ontario, California. Got to see my Smallville friends again.
Not John Glover. John was not there this time. But
Tom Welling was there, Michael Rosenbaum was there. Erica Durance
was there, which was great. I haven't seen Erica in
a while.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
She was Lois Lane and it was a blast, really really.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
Good Superman movies coming out. I think it's July eleventh,
Do you think so? I think so.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
There's more just Tom Welling as Superman for me, I'm
sorry he's Clark Ken anyway.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
I don't know if he's well. Look, I have to
go with Christopher Reeve. I can't help it. But I do
love Henry Cavill and Tom Welling. But the rest of
them I didn't quite Who was the.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
One that was right there with us? Was it Tom?
He was a nice though. He's a nice guy. Yeah,
nice guy, Yeah, very nice.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
He was right in there in the in the kind
of Smallville Superman world with us. Ernie Ernie Hudson was there.
Ernie and I did a movie called Doon Be Together
years ago. Of course he was there representing who.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Are you Gonna Call?

Speaker 3 (40:27):
Girls? Busters?

Speaker 1 (40:28):
Right, So he was great.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
He's always such a such a wonderful, sweet, sweet soul.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
We saw some other people there that that were just great.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
It's always fun to do one of those events, especially
when it's well run, and this one was well run.
They had a beautiful, wonderful food in the green room,
you know, and a lot of times it's not the case.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
You know, a lot of times.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
It's granola bars and cold coffee. Well, this we want
to thank the promoters of the Ontario Comic Con because
they actually had a like a hot hosta bar where
they had a couple of stations there where they were
whipping up a hot positive.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
With pesto, and it was it's storming out there.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Boy, the storms. What's what the weather? Please the universe
give eastern Kentucky a break.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
Oh my gosh, Somerset loved.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
From hazard and just like leave.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
We feel so uh we we.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
John's performing in Somerset.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
We pray for you folks who lost your homes and
for you folks who lost people. That was a terrible,
terrible time. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
Yeah, the weather through the Kentucky region has been really
really bad.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Just for the last year they have. It's been relent Even.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
The Derby ran on the Derby, which was we did yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
Yeah, but it was just that was just there was no.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Tornado, didn't lose their homes and their lives.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Awful time. But on a lighter note, we sure are
enjoying talking with you. We're glad.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
We all almost sorry this this podcast was a little late,
but like I said, we were traveling and couldn't get
here in time.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
So we're trying it a new way. We're actually doing
this live on Vimeo and then sending Tony the link
and then he'll add some pictures and things in the
intro and so hopefully, fingers crossed, hopefully all this will work.
You know, it looks like a beautiful day out, but
it's just not so much over the trees.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
The trees are doing this outside the window. But we
hope that you are doing well. We hope that you
are enjoying your is it summer yet officially.

Speaker 3 (42:42):
No sumontade for summer.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
Hopefully you're enjoying your spring, your spring as much as
we are.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
But Memorial Day is coming up.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Oh that's right, we've got a big sale at the store.
They sail so you'll see. If you're on the mailing list,
then you'll get a special code for that.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
If you're not, you can get on the mailing list
by downloading the app. You know.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
You download the app and you put your name in
there and you put your email address and then boom,
you'll be on a list to be the first people
to know about anything.

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Anything and something you would like at the store, something
you'd like us to add. Just say the word, you know,
and won't try to make it work.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Yeah, we got some new things because of that. We've
got a new.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Pink and gray camo OH one hat. It's good looking
hat and it's been going. It's been selling like crazy.
We also have an American flag OH one hat that
I don't think it's in the store yet, but I
think it'll be there next week. I don't want to
do the pre order thing, because when you order something,
you want it right. So I ordered something online about

(43:50):
a month and a half ago, and they assured me
it would be mailed out and I've gotten it and
it actually aggravates me. So I don't want to be
the part of your aggravation. I want to be part
of your Oh my gosh, look I got it already,
So be on the lookout for that. We just got
in More to Die For, which is terrific. That movie
has been doing very very well, and I thank you

(44:10):
for all of your comments about it, especially as we
come up to.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
Happy Birthday America. It's important.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
It's important that we celebrate our country. It's important that
we celebrate our flag. It's important that we participate in
the process. So if you have a problem with your representation,
let them know if and here's something nobody does. If
you appreciate your representation. Let them know that, say hey,
we like what you're doing. We're glad we voted for you,

(44:40):
and we'll do it again if given the opportunity. So
let people know that they're doing a good job, especially
law enforcement. Give law enforcement an ata boy. Give your
firefighters an atta boy, because I'll tell you what those
folks are. They are right there, especially in Somerset, Kentucky
and Hazard in London. The first people on the seen

(45:00):
are usually the firefighters.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
So let them know.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
Job.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (45:05):
And you know, John and I on another note, are
you done with that part?

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (45:09):
And thank you firefighters and police officers.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
You're great.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
I love you. Yep. So John and I try to
have movie nights. We try to alternate, like he picks
a movie, I pick a movie and go back and forth.
So what's fun? And John picked the Manchurian candidate and
I was totally blown away. Did we mention that before us?

Speaker 1 (45:28):
No? I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
I think we did either.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
I think we were going to watch it.

Speaker 3 (45:31):
Yeah. That was something that I was like, wow, and
it was amazing. I had I've seen him before because
I had been involved in politics and I passed and
so I'm like, oh my gosh, that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
Yeah, now this is the Angela Lansberry, Frank Sinatra.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
James Gregory.

Speaker 3 (45:47):
It's really good.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
Uh Manchurian candidate. It's it's quite wonderful. The new one
loved Denzel Washington, but the new one it was just
a Manchurian candidate in name only.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
That that was all. Uh so get it if you
get a chance. Watch that. It's on Amazon Prime. It's
really thought provoking.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
Really, And then we saw a difficult moving to watch
that I recommended. I can't even remember where we got
there why I recommended it because I remembered it was
difficult to watch, but I didn't remember how difficult it was.
The talented mister Ripley. Wow, that was because there was
some scam or something on TV.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
Or whatever, one of those movies with you.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
That movie is rough, but I mean it was well done.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
It was very well done. Yeah, Matt Damon did a
great job. We have to go to I did a
great job. But it was terrific.

Speaker 1 (46:38):
It was.

Speaker 2 (46:39):
It was one of those rare, rare movies where bad
things were not happening to bad people. Yeah, bad things
were happening to good people, and this guy was forging
signatures and pretending to be people he wasn't. This was
you know in my book, people who do things like.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
That, like hitting them over the head and murdering people.
And he was going to murder Gweth Paltrow too.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
Oh. It was terrible, terrible anyway, but they did a
good job.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
Good movie, good movie. If you like that kind of thing.
I prefer happier movies.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
I like happy movies too, but I do like movies
where bad things happen to bad people.

Speaker 1 (47:14):
I made one.

Speaker 2 (47:15):
I do not recommend you seeing it because you you
like my lighter side. But I made one called four
to Go, where very bad things happened to very bad.

Speaker 3 (47:24):
Speaking of Superman is a bad guy, but some people
need killing.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
He was pushed. Yeah, he was not a bad guys.
He was a good guy. And he said one of
the first lines in it, or sometimes due to circumstances
beyond their control, good people are forced to do very
I'm going to take that back.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
He was not a bad guy. He just wasn't a
bad very bad circumstance.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
He was a tough He's really good in it, really
good in it. Language is atrocious and believe me, bad
things happen to these people.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
Don't but I think that's how it should happen.

Speaker 2 (48:00):
Don't you Don't you think bad things should happen to
bad people like those The guy that killed the couple
last night, I think a very bad, bad thing should
happen to him, and I think quickly, I think we
need to. I think we need to prosecute these folks
that are getting in the way of of Trump's slash
our agenda. Right, we are getting what we voted for,

(48:22):
at least I am. And if you're not, then beautiful
vote a different way. Did the big beautiful building the house?

Speaker 3 (48:28):
I think voted it through. I think it's a house,
but it has to get through the senatus.

Speaker 1 (48:33):
We have a low battery warning. Now yep, we have
a low battery warning. Uh, how can you go? Hello?

Speaker 2 (48:41):
Do we have a plug? Keep talking? Baby, I'm gonna
go find a plug.

Speaker 3 (48:45):
Right drive to what did you get by what war?
Isn't it called war? So we also want to thank
again Mayor Bob Madison because he really helped, He really
helped just put together the kickoff of the Happy Birthday
America shorts. Huh, that's okay. Shorts. Shorts are good, but

(49:13):
we are really excited about that. He pushed it through.
That was wonderful and we're just excited about it. So
again I said this before, but sending your ideas if
you want to be a part and go, hey, I've
got this barn, I have a bartender, or I've got
this bowling alley, well, I mean that's what I mean.

(49:35):
I mean like a party barn. I don't mean like
the barn in the back forty that you know there
is no electricity. I mean for events even I would
be even open to someone's house, but it have to
be a good one, meaning like plenty of room, a
bowling alley, whatever. I mean, because America is like that
someone's house.

Speaker 1 (49:55):
We can't bring the band to someone's.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (49:59):
Trouble you getting us here?

Speaker 3 (50:01):
We say yes or no. It is our decision.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
So you know, if they plugged in, we're good. We
only have nine minutes left.

Speaker 3 (50:08):
If they have a beautiful like home, that is sort
of a like say say kid Rocks like, come to
my house. Well he's got an estate. We would do that, right.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (50:21):
I'm just saying that we're open to whatever likely to
know until it's a yes, I'm never going.

Speaker 1 (50:27):
To get up to get a plug for this computer again.

Speaker 3 (50:32):
And send your pictures and send your tape to PO
box sixty nine minutes in Indiana four seven two five
zero if you want to be in the show. Because
there's very little time left to be considered. I'm just saying, well.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
You got up, but I'm not up and I'm sitting
here now, my gosh, eight minutes left.

Speaker 3 (50:53):
Okay, Well, then go ahead if you don't like what
I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (50:57):
I don't know. I don't what to say. Now are
you leaving now?

Speaker 3 (50:59):
Yeah? Yeah, you go for it. You take it over
for a few minutes. I'm gonna get another drink.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
I don't want anymore. No, thank you.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
I'm only getting a little bit.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
So yeah, famous last words.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
So I hope you could see that we have a
good time. And you know, having a good time.

Speaker 3 (51:21):
A good Joe.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Is a choice. It's gonna be yeah, So it's a choice.
You know, things happen. Things happen, and then you know,
you you you then have a choice and you have
to you have to make the best of it. Right,
But this is this is great. We have a wonderful
wonderful time. I laugh every day.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
Don't throw the case me. You know, I know it
as seems like I'm drunk and I'm not. I want
to be. I'm not.

Speaker 1 (51:54):
You what you know, I've got the camera here.

Speaker 3 (51:58):
You guys shouldn't drink so much, then don't watch the podcast.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
It is called Drinks with Ddie.

Speaker 3 (52:03):
And John, and we're in the liquor business. So if
you don't like it, move on down the road.

Speaker 1 (52:07):
Watch the He's On Down, He's on down.

Speaker 3 (52:10):
The religious channel, that's fine, or the golf channel, or the.

Speaker 1 (52:16):
Boy that's good. People gonna love that.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
We know. But the people that are judgmental kind of
like that.

Speaker 1 (52:22):
You're to you, Oh, I know, you know that's.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
Crazy, yeah, drinking, And I'm like, uh, clearly you've not
been in the Catholic church, because if you go into
a Catholic church in the back the Knights of Columbus,
they've got all kinds of liquor going on. So it
depends what church you go to. I'm right now. Baptists
they kind of don't drink usually, but that's fine, that's
their choice. But don't judge John. Usually they pick on
you about it. I don't know why but you're like,

(52:49):
you are a Christian.

Speaker 2 (52:50):
You shouldn't be I am, And I tell him this,
I tell her, if I'm not supposed to drink, then
Jesus would have.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
Turned wine into water, not the other way around. Deal
with it. So Jesus loves me too much for me
to drink cheapea.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
Jesus loves me this.

Speaker 1 (53:05):
I know.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
How in the world did we get onto this? So
we hope that you have a good time. We hope
that you make great choices, and that one of them
is to smile and to laugh and to live a
life full of joy.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
We do, and we do.

Speaker 3 (53:22):
Every day, maybe not even though, because things happen. Things happen,
like you get a flat tire. Oh and by the way,
thank you cunning Him campers, because you're working on our camper.
Or it's not a camper, but you know what I mean.
They don't. It's called Cunningham campers. But we have been
greatful rbie and getting it situated where honey toe by
the raptors.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
So it'll be able to tow the raptor.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
Uh yeah, because so far everywhere we've gone we haven't
had a toe vehicle. So we wind up well like
we spend all that time in Vegas, excuse me, and
every time we went out, we had to take an
ubercar unless we walked. It's about a mile maybe a
mile and a half to the restaurant we like to
go to at the Silverton, but we didn't have a vehicle.

(54:08):
We didn't have a vehicle to be able to drive
ourselves around. So now we will and we want to
thank Cunningham Campers for that. Also for fixing Remember we
had the blowout. Oh yeah, there was a lot of
wonky stuff under there.

Speaker 1 (54:21):
They got that all fixed.

Speaker 2 (54:22):
And as soon as we get back from California, we're
going to go from well.

Speaker 1 (54:27):
We're going to go from Kansas City back to here.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Then we're going to go to get the camper and
to learn how to attach the raptor to the back
of the motor home because it's tricky, you know, it's
not you don't just hook it up and go, you know,
it's you need you need to learn how to do
that the proper way because don't want to wreck that
don't want to wreck that raptor.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
Bless you because it was my birthday.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
Present, right and it's a good one.

Speaker 1 (54:51):
My birthday present the Raptor right beautiful, it really is.

Speaker 3 (54:55):
It's been fun. It's been really fun. I'm driven at
some and it's fun. The drive I was a little about.
The wheels are gigantic, so as I go enormous, I
can drive this. But it's really great to it's a
little tricky to park. It's a little tricky tricky to park,
and I'm a terrible parker.

Speaker 2 (55:09):
And we want to thank Tim Short and the folks
there in the hazard because we had a something something
happened and all of a sudden, some fault lights came on.
So yellow lights came on. Yeah, so so it still
drove fine, but it wouldn't do it.

Speaker 3 (55:24):
Wouldn't do a couple of things that happens, you know.

Speaker 2 (55:26):
But so they came while we were doing the movie.
They came and they got it in Kentucky.

Speaker 3 (55:32):
Mettington took it like to you know what, I can
refer you to Electington Board, but no, no, no, We're
going to come and get it and take care.

Speaker 1 (55:40):
So we want to fix it ourselves.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Yes, so they did customer service.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
So if you're in the market for a Ford, they
have a lot of other things though, too. Tim Short
has a lot of a lot of dealerships. At least
consider them, go check them out. If you got a
motor home or if you're looking about you're thinking about
getting a motor home or a cab over camper or
a trailer, then certainly Cunningham there.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
Where are they is it Lexington?

Speaker 3 (56:01):
No?

Speaker 2 (56:02):
No, they're in Indiana there Jeffersonville, Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Speaker 3 (56:05):
And today they were supposed to get the bunt a
part to put everything together. We're taking off so anyway,
I won't figure it out. We'll get it all done.

Speaker 2 (56:13):
And then once once you find people you trust in
the car business and the motor home business and a
truck business, a plumber, an electrician. Once you find someone
that you trust, continue to give them your business.

Speaker 3 (56:25):
Okay, and guess what we did. I don't know to
do our backboard. We did this door back here is
to our beautiful backboards where.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
We usually do the podcast. Because it's a little.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
Chili right now bigger so John is all about it.
He wanted to meet back. I said, you know what,
that's great.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
That's a little a little misleading.

Speaker 2 (56:42):
There's a a porch that screened in and then there's
a roof that you can go out.

Speaker 1 (56:47):
And walk on.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
It's a great idea.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:49):
So it's so the roof is not really usable space
right now because there's no railing.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
I mean, we use it, you know, but you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 3 (56:59):
We shouldn't go all to the edge.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
It's a roof without a railing.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
And John puts his electrocution suit out there in the
shirt and the shorts, and it blew off on the
roof to the rooftop of the other neighbor. And then
were John asked, you have a fishing pole, as I don't,
but he was going to take the fishing pole in
the line and get well, look at that, we're almost
out of time and do this or whatever. But we
didn't have one. But I think we should have a

(57:24):
fishing pole in case his clothes fly with argon.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
We'll have a railing. It won't happen like that anymore.

Speaker 3 (57:29):
It could go through the rail.

Speaker 2 (57:30):
Also, one of our chair pillows flew over there too,
so yeah, yeah, oh well, these things happen.

Speaker 3 (57:37):
Railing can be helpful with that.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
Anyway, we're having a great time with our lives. Hope
you're having a great time with your life. If not,
then make a change, Make a change so that you
can have a great, great time. But for goodness sake,
if you're forging checks and pretending to be somebody or not,
don't do that anymore. Just watch the talented mister Ripley.

Speaker 3 (57:57):
That's more and catch me if you can. That's oh yeah,
that's true real he did like the counterpeit money and
all that, you know. But another words, treat people the
right way.

Speaker 1 (58:07):
I mean, treat people the way you want to be treated.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
That's different. But if they're your friends and your family,
be nice.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
Be nice because nice things happen to good people.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
To walk away.

Speaker 1 (58:20):
Bad things happen to bad people. So anyway, now was
that dan Kan? That was dan Kan? Had that first line.
It's a great line.

Speaker 2 (58:28):
Sometimes, due to circumstances beyond their control, good people are
forced to do very bad things.

Speaker 1 (58:34):
It's a great line. And then also what is what
is she say? You're not very good? Bad guys. It's
pretty funny line.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
That is funny.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (58:43):
I want to do a toast to Donnel dadd again.
But we are we are going out to La and
she is hosting runally and she's been such a lovely
mentor of me and I just want to say that
because you know, people go through difficult times, but there
are those people. They're there for you no matter what,
and she is love you. Don Alan Dot again d

(59:04):
D one, I'm d.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
D two and see you know those people, Lawn mcwater.
Oh yeah, praying for your dad, praying for you. Know
your your dad passed away, so we're praying for you.
We're praying for your mental health. We love Tammy, and
there goes the how can I turn that off?

Speaker 1 (59:19):
There we go?

Speaker 2 (59:21):
So uh, Lawn, thank you for everything, Tammy, Thank you
for everything during rough times. Thank you for holding up
our dear friend. Ln We love you and we will
see you next week.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
On Drinks with Diddy.

Speaker 1 (59:37):
Then John. That's how we're supposed to do it. I'm
supposed to be an after can.

Speaker 3 (59:41):
Do it again? You do it?

Speaker 2 (59:42):
You say, drinks with Yeah, stay to or next week
we'll have another exciting episode of.

Speaker 1 (59:49):
Drinks with d D and John. No, it's supposed to
be like do it again, you do it? You have
to know I'll do that. I'll do the funny part.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
I've got to scratch just a minute, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
So.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Next time Drinks with Diddy.

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
And John.

Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
We love you guys.

Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
I love you to bye, see you next time. That's good.
