Speaker 2 (00:18):
And we're in a motor home this week.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Really we are. Those are trucks going behind the background
a truck stop. Literally we are. We're a truck stop,
truck stop.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Cuties coming home to me and said it wouldn't be sorry,
she was just a baby bab.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Remember that song.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
It is Eddie Rabbit. I've never been able to stump her.
That is Eddie Rabbit. Well, what a week we've had. Huh,
We've had a what a day we've had. It's been
an amazing day.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
A lot of stuff has happened since last time we
saw you. We kind of talked around the wonderful event
at the Hollywood Museum and beautiful Hollywood, California.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Uh, in the legendary Max Factor Building.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
It was fantastic Donell, which d D affectionately calls d
D one.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Right, Yeah, I'm d D two. She's one mentor.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
She put on this wonderful event and uh so well attended. U.
Tom Wopat was there, Catherine Bach was there, Lee from Herbie,
Michelle Lee was there from Herbie the Lovebug. My dear
friends may Nutter and Lindsey Bloom who were both on
(01:36):
dukes were there. Malcolm Daynar crazy guy from Smothered, and
Christine an officer and a gentleman, and uh.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
On and on.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Oh that's right. Well, well Scott was there in a
in a video in a video. It was great.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
You know, he was out somewhere Scooby doing and it
was just fantastic.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Don't forget Jene Casem, she's a widow.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Casey Casem. That's John number ten with a bullet, very
nice ladies, the number eleven with an anchor.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
It was truly I star studed a Hollywood event. All
the press was there, beautiful red carpet.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Oh my gosh, I have the press.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Well, no one says a better event in Hollywood than
the Queen of Hollywood. Down all and dadd again. And
then she's like, oh, what would you like to go
to the Purple Room and Palm Springs to see rutal
Lee perform?
Speaker 1 (02:21):
And that was on the well, of course, we so
we went there.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
We drove drove to Palm Springs, you know, and what
used to take oh, maybe an hour and a half,
it was like five and a half hours. Because it
was Friday afternoon. We had to drive in, but it
was great. We played a little golf in Palm Springs.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
But back to the event. The event was really great.
Oh yeah, So there was.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
A general lee outside on the sidewalk, kind of like
when we had our.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Parties.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
We had several, but we had one there at donn
Ellis DENI one was kind enough to host it for us.
That was amazing. So yeah, they just put the general
lean right on the red right by the red car
right the red carpet.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
And a generally inside on the I think it's the
third floor for the exhibit. So the exhibit is great.
If you find yourself in California. It is the Hollywood
Museum in the Max Factor Building. It is not the
Wax Figure Museum.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Now.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
The Max Ficture Building is so beautiful and right there
at Hollywood.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
And Highland, and you actually get to learn about about
things there. It really is is an ed museum should
be educational, but the other ones are fun.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
You know.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
I think I talked a little bit last week about
you know, you want to just go go have fun
and be chased by a shark, go to the Universal Tour.
But if you want to learn something about how movies
are made, then go to the Warner Brothers tour. So
if you're really interested in Hollywood, go to the Hollywood
Museum there at the Max Factor Building. If you just
want to see, you know, very plastic looking people replicated
(03:52):
in wax.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Get me. Then go to the uh Wax go to
I was supposed to be. I think the Dukes. I
think we were in Wax there for a while. I
think we were. We did that.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
That better, It's way better. And Steiners he and by
to eat and then go to music.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Oh those ash Browns.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I like the turkey dinner when I.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Go because you know, you well, every day is Thanksgiving.
Every day is Thanksgiving, and then every time.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I'm telling you it never fails Thanksgiving. It's like every
fit Thanksgiving, we get a traditional dinner. You know, it's like, oh,
let's go to a friend restaurant. Let's as I know,
I want turkey and dressing and mashed potatoes and gravy.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
What have I ever said, let's go to a French
restur No not you, oh some other guy? No not no,
let us go to a French rest made me.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Think about it as we're doing a movie in Boston
and they were like, oh, let's go to the French restaurant.
I'm like, I'm Thanksgiving, so yeah, I love the traditional
Thanksgiving dinner because.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
The French celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States so often.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Well, look, I did not like the idea of it,
but I will tell you that at melth Diner, and
if you want any traditional Thanksgiving dinner in Hollywood.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Go there all the way to the Cranberry sauce.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
And Rex was there with us.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Rex Smith was there, his lovely wife was there. And gosh,
I don't want to forget anybody, but I'm sure we did.
We want to thank everybody who showed up. It was great.
And if you weren't there, then that Claudia Wells was
there from Back to the Future and a bunch of things.
She's got a great men's store over in the valley
on Venture Boulevard.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
You can find her on Facebook. So that was all.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
That was all wonderful. Then we made the drive to
Palm Springs. We had a great, great time. Oh wait,
we played golf the day of the event, right, yeah,
we played golf on Saturday, and a wonderful golf course
called Cimarron and the wind was crazy, not not as
crazy as that video you saw of us standing outside
(05:53):
of the moot.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
My gosh, you had today, whether you know. We'll get
to that. But first the golf, John May.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
I did.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
That's the first time in my life sick. I still
shot a ninety two, but I made six parts. But
the big news was deed he got a birdie, my first.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Birdie, probably my only birdie ever.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
And this wasn't a forgiving.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
It wasn't like, you know, the first shot went somewhere
and it was not a a an adjusted friendly birdie.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
No, she got on the tea box.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
She took a five wood rescue club, teed the ball
up a little bit, hit it over the water, you know,
which if you don't play golf, you don't know how
intimidating water can be. But for some reason, water just
wants to take golf ball.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
And it didn't intimidate all the guys. I was playing
with three guys and John. Of course that six parts.
But on that hole, everybody lost their balls in that
all but mine landed on the green. And then I
just took it the putt and got it so and
it was a long putt. It was great.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I didn't get to see it because I was. I
was fishing my ball out of the water. Now mine
didn't land in the water. Mine actually landed on the green.
And I had a very unusual for me, but I
used a pitching wedge, had a great backspin on it,
so it hit the green and then it rolled back
down the hill and into the water.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
We love golf, and we got John.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Oh that's where I got my Schimmerron shirt.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I should have borne my golf a tire, but I
kind of didn't think about it. But anyway, we had
a ball in La and then we went to Palm
Springs and.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Now, oh, were that wonderful guy. But we've gotta got
a brag on this wonderful guy, uh from the hotel
who chased us down in the parking lot. The song
you were singing a song about him, Fernando, Fernando.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
There was something in here that night, the ones she's.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Saying, she sang, I don't know the words of that,
because that's right, I think so proud to say, I know,
no Abba, you know, Queen Dancing, Queen Young and something.
Oh my god, I didn't like him then. I don't
like him, and nothing against.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Them, I just you know, I just I felt like,
you know, they done very well. I know they've done
very well. Mama, me and all that kind of stuff.
I just so it was not I was not a
it's not even really glam rock. It's kind of glam pump.
I loved heart.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
I love heart, you know, and that's a that's that's
two wonderful women, amazing musicians.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
But anyway, so we were at that, we were at
no Park.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
And then Pump Springs and now we're.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
On the road and we're almost I was ragging about Fernando.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
So we were driving through a very windy parking lot
and I was trying to parallel park this thing.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Not a good idea, not for me.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Anyway, such a great drive and really good driving us
from our.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Homeline, Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
I finally did find us by when we had a
flat today, and that's a whole Oh yeah, we'll get
to that. We finally get to a spot and we
hear we hear, you know, n o'clock, Doc darc dark
and I thought, oh.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
My god, you know, I know we have a reservation.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Somebody's going to tell us the park somewhere else. But no,
it was Fernando and he was out of breath and
he said, I've been I've been following you through the
parking lot. I wanted to tell you, you know, the
best place to park is like over over there. And
then and he was not only the front desk, he's
the boss.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Yeah, so that was really sweet.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah, that was great, really wonderful Western trip.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
What was that hotel because we want to brag a
double Tree was a Double Tree Double Tree golf resort
in Cathedral City. We couldn't play golf there. We played
a Cimarron because they had they had a golf tournament
the next day and they said, you know there's three
days a year that people who stay at the at
the resort can't play golf and this is of them.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
But again, DEDI want Donald Dadigan, thank you, thank you,
thank you. You're such a wonderful friend.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
So do your and we just had a wonderful We
had a ball, had a great, great time.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
I go to the Hollywood Museum and see the Duke
Surhazard exhibit. It's really impressive. And also thank you to
friends and fans who sent shirts, who sent belts. We
were looking for.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Oh my gosh, yes, Nicholas belt and we.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Couldn't find it. Exactly because it's a tough that's an
intrickate bell, and well it is essentially we got help
and figured it out.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
So, and my boots are there, My original boots that
I wore when I auditioned that had holes in them
and I had newspaper and cardboard in the in the
toe of the boot to keep my socks kind of dry.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
They're there, and they are bronze.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Let me tell about the deuce of hazard fans. And
I know you already know this, honey, but they're like,
you know, and I think that's quite the right yellow
And then on on loop duke. Sure you know what,
I don't think that's quite the right. I mean they
are particular. You all are particular. You watch the show,
yell the clothes, you know the lines, you know, it
all so very impressive.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
So thank you, thank you very very much.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
And uh, what else is there? Uh, they've got they've
got Herbie the love Bug there as well. And they've
got they've got the Mystery Machine. The Mystery Machine is
there to look. There goes another truck.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
By the way, we have trucks going around everywhere.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
I'm a I'm a pretty good driver with this thing.
But what blows me away is that guy right there
is gonna come around this corner. He's gonna look over
his left shoulder and back in between two other trucks,
and he's gonna park that thing with that much room
on either side, in between two other trucks with one
(11:16):
Try one try. You want to be impressed, go to
YouTube and watch. I just look up truckers parking and
it's like, it's it's just impossible.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
So so I never knew this before RB Life.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
John introduced me to it.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
But we either stay at a hotel, we stay at
a resort or a campground when we plug it and everything,
or if we're just tired and we need to get
off the road, well in a rest area or a
truck stop.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
And I was just the side of the road.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Well, but I was mor by to begin with that.
I'm like, what are we allowed to do that? That's
so weird? But no, one's not. I mean it is
quite common place. So you have rbs and trucks and
that sort of things. And we're I loved right now. No,
we're not gonna stay here. I don't think it's up
to John.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
We'll see, but we made just stay here and watch
Time Tunnel.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Yeah, which we watched Time Tunnel last night. So we
watch Rereacher, Time Tunnel and Wild Wild West.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Right, that's right. So those are the things we watch.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Like, we'll finish our day and then we'll come back
and watch TV. Used to me and mann x somehow.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yeah, we're gonna there. He goes, there's another guy backing up.
And when I say guy, I could be it could
be a woman too. There are not a lot of
female truck drivers that I've seen, but I have I
have seen them and they do the same thing.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Yep. He's just backing right up.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
So this morning we need that. We're going to have weather.
So that's a big part of it because with bad
weather it's difficult to drive an RB anyway. But with
that it's very hard. I'm so impressed with John because
he's so good at it. But this morning I woke up, Well,
we have friends of Madison mom. Sorel said, Oh, that's
a mom of our friends with Matt Love. She said,
the weather's gonna be really, really bad. You need to watch.
(12:56):
And another folks said it's going to be epic flooding, and.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
It's like we're going to set up the news too
A hazard.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
For a blood benefits was like, oh my gosh, you're
kidding me. So this morning, I wake up at five
thirty in the morning. I always wake up early. And
I see the stormline and we aren't close to it.
It's coming from the west.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
So yeah, just northwest of us.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
It's just sweet, we are close.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
So I said, you yellow orange, red, red is heading
right for us.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Tornadoes tornadic bad So I said, honey, it's non safe
to be here. I think we better go. We mean
to head ease.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Well, I was dead asleep. She was like, she was like, hey,
you know, and what do people do when they say that,
Are you awake?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
What? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Yeah, So anyway I took it though, and I said,
we're not safe here, we really I think we really
do need to go. And but I've been up for
half an hour, hour, hour whatever, So I was wide awake.
Can I assess the situation, which at a monor home
you have to have to assess where you can stop
the weather all that.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
It's like driving a sheet of flywood down the road.
It really is.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
So when the wind hits it, and this thing is big,
when the wind hits it, it really, it really moves it.
So anyway, so we got up early. You know, it
was o dark thirty and uh, and we headed on
down the road and then we stopped.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Remember the wind tunnel. We stopped for hers to get
fuel and it was so windy. And you made a
little video.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Oh yeah, I made that video.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Well, what happened is Dedie opened the door, and thankfully
she she held on to it kind of. But you
know that door again, like a sheet of plywood. We'll
pull you right out of the motorhome or it'll come
off of its hinges. So anyway, we made that little video,
and uh, it was funny. We're going we we we
just left CALLI, CALLI, Callie and we're going.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Back to hazard Hassie has he. Anyway, it was pretty
pretty fun, so life is great. Problem a later, two
minutes later, we're going down the road and.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Something because there's stuff blowing everywhere. So what we used
to call them as a road gator. So what I
believe happened is I hit a road gator, which is
the retread that has come off somebody else's tire. You
see them all the time, and most of the time
you can you can avoid them. But with the wind
blowing that thing across the interstate. So we looked at
(15:13):
each other like, what was that?
Speaker 1 (15:15):
What was that? And I said, I think it must
have been somebody must have had a blowout. Somebody did us.
I've never had a blowout.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
And it was you know, this this one has two
four It has six wheels in the back, so dual
wheels that have power to them, and then they have
wheels that just kind of float, they just kind of
they're back there to help with stability and things. And
the inside one on the driver's side blue in the middle.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Yeah. Well yeah, so you.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Can't you can't see it from the outside unless you
look around. Well, of course when we stopped, it looked around,
but I looked out in my rear view mirror, side
view mirror, and I thought, what what is that?
Speaker 2 (16:00):
John was driving? But I get it because it's like there.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Was nobody behind us. There was nobody anywhere.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
But it's not like Burt and Rummer and I go
back and there are little pieces of insulation or something
flying everywhere in the back. And then the fire alarm
went off.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
There was an alarm that went No, no, that was
that was that was just you know there's something something wrong.
Alarm up there.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Well, there was an alarm. It sounds like a fire
alarm to me. And it smelled like rubber because it was.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
It was also crazy other stuff because yeah, a lot
of damage that because when the when the I say
it's a retread. The young man h Bradley. Bradley, what
a great guy who changed the tire. He said, I
don't think it's I'm not I'm not sure. I'm not sure,
but but it came off like in a in a
(16:47):
strip like a like a crescent roll or a croissant. Anyway,
when that happened, that thing was flapping around inside the
inside the wheel well and did a a number a
number on it. And one of the things that did
a number on was it pulled the uh, it pulled
the how can I say it, what we call it
(17:10):
in the motor home biz is the stinky slinky. So
it pulled that and caused and you need that to
go to the bathroom, Well, well you kind of, but
it it, you know, in this particular anyway, it caused
some damage back there. But thank God for that auto
(17:33):
that that shop there, Oh goodness, what was the name
boss Hog Shop?
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Yeah, Boss's Shop, the Boss Shop. Yeah, yeah, it wasn't
Boss Hog. That's funny, boss Hog Shop.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
And they they were right there, and thankfully they had
the tire, and we were in there and out of there.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
In about an hour and fifteen minutes or so.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
And one of the cool things that Haven, who works there, said,
I said, well, we're going to go out into the
going to go out into the elements.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Now.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
We've been kind of running away from the storm, trying
to trying to beat the storm to Kentucky. And she
basically said, you know, it's a good thing you weren't.
You weren't on the road because an hour and an
hour and a half from here there was a tornado
touchdown in front of that. I think it went right
across the interstate. So had we not hit the road gator,
(18:25):
there goes somebody backing up. Had we not hit the
road gator and had the flat, you know, you always
have to look on the bright side. There's a good
chance that driving this forty five foot sheet of flywood,
we would have been right in the thick of the tornado.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
So we had behind I'm thankful for it, and the
bad weather behind us. Just said they had baseball sized
hail that is good for a moner home. And our
insurance had just come up again and was like, oh
my god, what else, what other drama can there be?
But anyway, we got through it and here we are.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
We haven't had We had a tiny tiny bit of
rain when we were up just Wendy we were there.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
No, we had the little rain as we were leaving,
a little ran in the wind. Show anyway, So that
was a great a great time. But the moral of
that story is there's nothing you can do about the
flat tire. And we happened to be like two hundred
yards from this place and we pulled over. That was
that was it unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
We looked over into my does that say tires.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Yeah, tire repairsire repair, Yeah, Boss tire shot Boston Boss
repair shop.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
So it was it was amazing. But we met Bradley.
We met another young man and forgive me a favorite show,
Bradley dukesa hazard.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Yeah he's eighteen years old, by the way, and I
guarantee you the tire he pulled off the back of
this RV weighed more than him, you know, tire rim everything, uh,
and he muscled that thing on there and it was great.
We met him, we met, we met Haven, we met
another year, but we met a bunch of great people.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
It was actually had a good time. We did.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
We found the place. So we're just grateful, you know.
I always say I wake up very grateful for John
and for my life and for our life. So that
we just we were just taking care of Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
So you know what they say, when life hands you,
lemons make lemonade.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Better yet.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Title of the show Tony, When life hands you lemons
make lemon cella perfect, perfect perfect. But we we had
a good time when we had somebody somebody actually posted
on I posted something singing that song and when you got.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
To see Bradley and they said, it's so great that.
When I was just talking to one.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Of my students, they said about how you know, when
when things go bad, you have a choice, you know,
can you either find the good in it or you
can waller around and self pity. So our advice to you,
at least I think it's our collective advice.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Is when things go wrong, and they will find the
silver lining, you know, they said. The guy, the guy.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Digging through a pile of horse Manuver said, I know
there's a pony in here somewhere, find it.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Find the pony. And we did today. It was great.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Now you've got a brand new tire. We've got some
work to do on the motor home, but we're safe.
Everything is fine. We didn't get caught in a tornado
and life is good.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
But ahead of us in the podcast, the flooding.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
There may be water, you know, we'll see, but I
think it'll be just fine. And we're going to do
this wonderful benefit concert. John is on his birthday, as
we've talked about, in Hazzard, and they are so grateful
and they're so sweet and everybody's being lovely. We can't
wait to get there.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
And our buddy Bert is coming from Germany. That's right,
twenty states coming from Germany. We got twenty states and
the country of Germany.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
Now, remember, Hazzard is not easy to get to.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
It is in the mountains. It is in the mountains.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Yeah, and we have people from twenty states all over
the country.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
And Germany making it there and the only way they go.
Pretty impressive.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
So they want to celebrate the birthday with John because
but John Telli bring his birthday by giving back and
to hazard and it Hazard with tuesdays instead of one,
but is just gonna be phenomenal.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
We're really going.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Forward to it, right right, and uh Cody, Cody, well, Cody, yeah,
Cody's gonna be there, and coach says Cody McCarver.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Keith Burns is going to be there. The Stars and
Bars band is going to be there.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
But I think on Saturday before it, I think we're
gonna we're gonna there's a car show going on, so
good Lord Willing and the Creek Don't Rise. Probably gonna
stop by there because you know, I love cars and
meet everybody and say hello to everybody. And and here's
the only caveat if you want, if you're there and
(22:44):
you want an autograph, you've got to pay twenty bucks.
And that is going to the Hazard event. Okay, Appalachian,
remember what the whole thing is called. Anyway that's going there,
it's not going to me, it's not going on her,
not going for another's fare tire.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
It's just it's going to help these people, because that's
what we're there for.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
I mean, you know, and that's that's that's a nice donation.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Twenty dollars.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
It's not anything you see is that you don't know,
And we're paying to get the band there and do it,
and we're happy to do it because it's just going
to be phenomenal and it's so worth it because these
people deserve a break and they've been through not one
flood but too and who.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Knows by the time we get there will be a third.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
One By the time we get there, but we've been
told it might be pretty bad. So everybody just think
about the folks in the hazard and the folks that
are going to go to I think it'll be fine
by Tuesday, but over the weekend and'll mind be a
little rough. So let's hope for the best.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Yes, indeed.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
So politics, what is going on in politics right now
is actually, I would not say politics, I guess it's
in government right now.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
It is, Uh, it is amazing. We just watched the
a lot. I'm sorry, I'm making sure the timer is
still working. It is.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
President Trump was talking about the tariffs, and I don't
understand for the life of me, how anybody can have
a problem when we have been you know, these aren't
mean tariffs, even called them friendly. So if there's a
country like Vietnam that's charging US ninety percent on goods
(24:23):
that come from the United States of America to Vietnam
ninety percent.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
It's just reciprocity.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Well, but he's he was.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Talking about reciprocal tariffs, which means we would charge them
ninety percent. But that's not even that's not even what
he's doing. He's charging thirty five or thirty seven percent.
He's charging right at maybe a little more than half
to these countries who are really not only are taking
advantage of us, but have been taking advantage of us
(24:51):
for a long long time. And believe me, I understand
what it's like to wonder why in the world someone
who has been given a free life lunch year after year,
or month after month, or even day after day. It
drives me crazy when that person or that country that
gets a free lunch, When you all of a sudden
say you know that hamburger is three dollars, They're like,
(25:16):
what what, how dare you try to charge me three dollars?
I'm entitled to this hamburger. That's what other countries have
been doing to us because we've allowed it. And President
Trump was so great about that. You know, he always
points to, you know, the fake news all those people
back there. And then when he did he did the
talk to Congress, he talked about you know these people,
(25:37):
he was talking about the Democrats over here. Well, this
time he kept pointing to the Oval office, kept saying,
you know why this is happening. You know why this
is so bad because those people that sat in that
office over there, they.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Let it happen. And it's not gonna happen anymore.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
And the.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Chicken littles of the world, the fake news folks of
the world that are saying, oh, this is terrible, it's
going to just be a disaster. Well, first of all,
he kind of did it, not to this degree, but
he kind of did it in his first administration, and
our economy was great and we were respected. But what
there they don't take are what they refused to take
into consideration is as soon as the rest of the
(26:22):
world knows this is serious, this is going to happen
at midnight at midnight tonight.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Well, well, well, Canada was all.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Playing tough as well they should, which by the way,
also President Trump said, look, I don't blame China, I
don't blame Canada, I don't blame Vietnam. If you if
you can do that. If somebody will allow you to
take advantage of them like that, why wouldn't you.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
Now that's what Trump said, That's what That's what.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
President Trump said. But already, because I think Canada on
some of the good on h what is it.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
That comes down cheese or milk or something.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I think it's it's dairy products. It's like a ninety
five yeah, crazy, So.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
So they are already the the uh the prime minister, right,
prime Minister of Canada is.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Already even before the deadline tonight.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
Is saying, look, of course, you know we'll we'll negotiate,
will negotiate.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Well, we get Mexico and Canada in a many other countries,
so those crazy money in both those countries. Remember what
you said two hundred.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Six hundred, Well but six hundred percent if it gets
up to like six hundred percent on some of these things.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
But what the what the I don't want to say
liberal because that's not even right. What the what the?
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Because I've I'm very liberal in many many parts of
my life, and and and I'm sure you're very liberal
and very conservative. You know, it shouldn't be labeled like that.
But what they were used to shed light on and
they're not stupid people.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
I mean they know it.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
This isn't a snapshot, and it's always going to be
twenty five percent to Vietnam, and it's always going to
be you know, we we are gonna try to cripple
We're not trying to cripple Canada. We're just trying to
make them play nice.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
Maybe play fair.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
It's not even not, it's just so it's been so unfair.
I'm lopsided. President Trump just saying, look, let's just be
fair here, and let's make it a.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
Little more equal.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
I mean, let's make it little cool.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Well, let's make it equal. Let's make it We're going
to get to equal, but let's at least start moving
in that direction.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
Now it's at least in the same orbit where before
it was crazy lopsided.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Yeah, we we were we charged. I think it was
two and a half percent. Two and a half percent here.
Can we have people in America there and people pitched
about that.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
I don't think that the help, you know, versus folks
in other countries are just messing with this because they
were allowed to do it. And that's what President Trump said.
He goes, look, I get it. If some one's gonna
let you do that. They're going to keep doing it.
But President Trump made it very clear that gravy train
is over. Okay, I'm thinking about Balkimer. I feel bad
(29:12):
about Belcomer.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
I feel bad about Balkimer too.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
Yeah, Val had a very rough, uh rough goal of
it here these these last years. What a fighter, what
a great actor.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
You know, because he's sixty five. So when people are
in your age group, especially if they're young.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
Age group, especially when you're about to be he's sixty,
John's about.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
To turn sixty five, it's like, oh, but Balkimer was
a huge star, and I thought he was the best well,
I don't know there was best.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Doc Holiday, best Doc Holiday ever.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
He was so great, Doc Holliday Iceman amazing. I'm so
glad that they included him in the In the Tough
Gun remank remember, and they had to it out because
he didn't have up boys.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
Had ai his voice.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
I think, yeah, I know you knew him or met him.
I also met him, and that's and his voice was gone.
So I met him not long ago. But he was
super sweet, super nice, and he didn't really want the
boys thing to make anyone feel bad. So I admired
that incredibly talented.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Oh yeah, the Doors, my god.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
If you're not familiar with with the I refuse to
call it work because I know those of us who
do it, it's really play. If you have not, if
you're not familiar with Val Kilmer's body of play, then
please watch Tombstone.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Please watch him as Jim Morrison in the Doors, even
when he's really young, genius, genius.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
When he was like that.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
The well he did top secret, top secret, so many
top supert and so many like half Cow. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
It was Island and Doctor Mark Ruther. Probably he should
have skipped that. But other than that, that wasn't his fault.
And you would think it'd be great because it was
with Marlon Brando, but it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
So Yeah, friends of mine, friends of Gary Baxley, you
haven't met it, but but some friends from Dukes did
the Island of Doctor Mr.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Yeah, and I say, you've seen.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
That movie, but.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Yeah, probably a good idea. Yeah, that's a good one
to skip. Yeah, twenty five minutes. Wow.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
So there's a bunch of you you go to stuff
like that and I there they go. This place will
be absolutely flipped it's so great.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
We got here.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Early, yeah, because we're kind of meant well, no, I
guess we're a happy hour, which is appropriate.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Well, we're at happy hour because we're drinking what is this?
Speaker 3 (31:37):
This is Blanton's right, Yes, we're drinking Blanton's bourbon.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
And it's quite good, quite good.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
And we would like to thank Ellie from Madison, Indiana,
because this was our wedding press and she.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
Threw one of our parties. She's great and we're going
to see her at the Derby. I mean that's our plans.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
The Derby we're going to.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
They want say what the conflict is, but we've got
two events, one on one side of the country and
one on the other. But we choose the Derby.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Well we are Yeah, the Derby is great. Derby's great.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
We went last year and it was incredible and we
can do it.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
We can do it like a live high How are
you from? Yeah, Derby we'll figure.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
But you know, it's good. It's a good problem to
have to have to pick and choose the events you
go to it when you like them all. It's fun.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
Just having evolved and it's fun. Yep.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
So Pete hagg St, I think to Pete hagg Seth,
you want to turn to Peteggst like Okay.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
Now, I like the entire cabinet. I think they're all wonderful.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
I think they're doing a great job, and they're doing
a great job under very interesting fire.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
You know, when when President Trump did his first term,
the the opposition was the majority, and now the opposition
is a minority. But they they they just keep keep
those slings and arrows coming, and they went after Pete Hegseth.
And I think it's unusual that they did that because
(33:10):
from what I've what I've read, and what I understand
about it is Pete was on this signal thing, which,
by the way, was the preferred in a in a
document from it's not the CIA, it's one of those
government agencies with lots of letters. The preferred means of
encrypted communication was signal as advised by this government agency
(33:37):
that's supposed to be in charge of like the integrity
of secret communication or not secret, what is it top secret?
Speaker 1 (33:47):
That's not the word either. Anyway, he was just on
the on the call.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
And somebody who shouldn't have been on the call, somehow
got an invite to be on the call and Uh.
And this is why I love all the young people
that are working in doage, because they never would send
an accidental invite Big Balls, they were, they would never
(34:15):
spend an.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Accident well you know, you know big balls.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Anyone named that the.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Balls in cow Town to get away with it, Big
Balls is going to get away with it.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
So it was just and I'm not making it up.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
That's really what they call him. B A l Z right, right, But.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
It just seems to me that they're grasping at any
kind of straws they can to destroy, undermine I guess, uh,
our the conservative side, who are fans of President Trump
(34:55):
and the cabinet, uh, kind of undermine our belief in
what he's doing. But it's not gonna work. It's it's
just not just not gonna work.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
He's the richest man on the planet and he doesn't care.
He doesn't need any money, he doesn't need any friends.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Well, we're not the richest people on earth, but we
don't care either, No, we don't.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
And you know, and that leans this to like some
of the negative people. I will say ninety nine point
nine percent of the folks friends who we love you, fans,
we love you too. Uh, and you're in friends. Some
of you we haven't met yet, but some of them
really mean, you know. And I touched upon this, and
I have to tell you that the gap whenever we
talking about the hat thing, and she was upset because
(35:33):
she is bald and she has to wear hats because
she doesn't have any hair. I've got plenty of hair.
I'm good, but I do it because and I said
this before, I'm gonna say it again, because I had
skin cancer on my face. So I sort of had
started the hat habit and I love it. I love hats,
so it's fun. And we were even talking about maybe
doing hat giveaways or something because I have so many.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
I'm for like thousands, Please let's do a hat.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
He hates it because all the hats tick up someone's room.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
I just got five hat racks that hold twenty hats
a piece, not even take care of a box, not.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
Even it's one box. So I just started buying them,
you know, and you can get them for you know,
most of them really don't cost much, but they're really lovely. Uh.
So we're trying to kind of and if you all
have any ideas, let us know, because I would love
to give some way. Maybe we kind of put a
game together or something from.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
Her podcast headware Dede's Chapeau. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
But getting back to the mean people, I mean, I
don't know why. If you don't like what we're saying,
you can go to if you want.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Oh, you mean mean people here? Yeah, I mean people
you both of you very many, But I thought both.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
Of you go away because you're like, you're like those
people that want to keep getting a free hamburger.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
We don't care. I promise you we don't care. But
what I didn't like was the lady who had cancer
and she was bombing because when you have cancer, you
lose your hair and it's really not fun. I am
assuming that would not be fun. And she said, thank
you for standing up and you for saying something for me,
because that was really hurtful when people were saying. So
(37:06):
you know, all the mean people do it somewhere else
because you know John's gonna block you.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
I'll block you, or better yet, I'll leave you there.
And all you nice people read the comments and when
you see a mean one, blast them, and all the
mean people there are some people need blast them and
they and they're never happy.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
And they don't have any friends and they hate their lives.
So it's like you want to continue that. That's fine,
but we're going to have our lovely, happy life. And
the lady who was so sweet and had lost her
hair the hat you go, girl, you are wonderful and
don't worry about it. Keep wearing hats because I do
every single day. And here's another hat that I loved,
(37:48):
the Gilligan love that I think we said on another show.
I wore this throughout throughout Vegas.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
I just feel so I mean, I love the message,
but I just feel so dumb.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Why you know what?
Speaker 1 (38:01):
We liked it? Mahan o, mahan. We like to share.
I love you too, baby, We like to share the
joy news. Why share?
Speaker 3 (38:12):
Keep your grief to yourself, Keep your anger to yourself.
That's a better thing to say.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Keep.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
It's hard to keep your grief to yourself, but keep
your anger to yourself. Like who was the woman that
called Governor Abbot hot wheels? Who in the hell are you?
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Lady?
Speaker 2 (38:29):
I know? And she did it.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
She did it on purpose because she's mean spirited.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
We get the grief, we get that, I mean, but
when you just want to behave.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
And we get humor, but hot wheels people feel bad.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Why do you want to do that? I mean, you know,
go ahead and have on, but you know that's okay.
But we're like anyone who wants to be that way.
See you.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
And by the way, Governor Rabbit, my hat is now off.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
My hat is off to Governor Rabbit because when when
the the Biden administration was was doing everything they could
to let all the dangerous and nasty and some nice
I don't know where they are some nice people in,
but they came in illegally, so they're all it's it's criminal.
But while that was happening, Governor Abbott did everything he
(39:16):
could have stopped them. And you know what the Biden
administration did. They went and stopped him from stopping them
from coming in. What in the health I'm so confused.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
What well he did? I need follow that he was
putting he was putting.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
Up barriers in barricades in the Rio Grande, and they said,
Biden said, I think the National Guard and the poor
national Guard had to go down and say, look, gosh,
look we're sorry, but you know we we kind of
have to do what we're told.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
But you know, good for it. It is so nice.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
Now when you join up for ice, when you join
up for border patrol, that is what you want to do.
You want to patrol the border. And just like this
most wonderful Press secretary, she's oh my gosh, it has
a baby, and I don't know how she does it,
but she is amazing. And she's like, well, you know,
there were travel agents before in the Biden administration. Now
(40:11):
they're doing their job.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
The John right, the border patrol was basically travel agents
helping people get to.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Other parts of the country illegally.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
And that's why the Biden administration said we need more
border patrol.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
Not to secure the border.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
They tried to make you think that, but so that
they could more effectively and quicker more quickly.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Plus I've loved more quickerly. Uh that's President Bush.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
More quickly, but more quickly get them over. We can
get more illegals in more quickly. Crazy crazy.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
And then this this, uh, this this.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
One person that it is hot in here. I'm sorry,
it really is warm here. We didn't want to have
the generator running because.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
You couldn't hear us, but you can hear the trust
that keep going. I wanted you to hear that because
I wanted to brag on our truck drivers. I wanted
to brag on all our CDL holders. You got.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
That's a talk about nice people. They're the nicest people
in the world.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
Hey, can I help you the door open? Can I
help you? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Very sweet.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
They're really terrific.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
And if you want to hear some great music about
our truck drivers, go to John Schneider's truck and get
the truck on album.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Yeah, that's what she's singing, barely no, well.
Speaker 4 (41:29):
About the guitar, tired eyes, bride lights and long nights.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
You got to come to Hazard to hear the rest.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
We've Keith Burns and I wrote that song a lot
of fun.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
But and again heads off to my cousin Greg, who's
kind of putting the whole concert together. Now he's not
first cousins, but we're related down there. And then I
look at the foundation, that Apple chem Foundation, and it's
another nap And then on John's Facebook, on my Facebook,
it's other napiers saying no, we're going to be there,
(42:08):
so it's going to be a big family. And then
my mother's coming.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
It was me of course, right, so I was gonna.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
I'm thinking about getting on stage and saying I want
to thank everyone who had anything to do with putting
this wonderful thing together. I'm so great, you know, But
that would take too long, so I'm just going to
say thank you. Napier And we had an apier. We
had an aper, Charlie Napier. Charles Napier was on Dukes
a lot. By the way, Speaking of Dukes, I just
(42:35):
am about a quarter the way through the second episode
of Earls of Perry writing on this very laptop that's
sitting right here, very excited about that, looking for cars,
looking for cars and all places. So I'm looking for cars,
and it's gonna be a lot of fun. God, to
be a whole lot of fun. We've not checked the
(42:55):
mailbox yet.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Boy, Yeah, we're going to get there.
Speaker 1 (42:58):
We have not checked the mail box yet. We are
going to go check the mailbox.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
But no, no, Kim and Jeff from Mad Love, they're
going to grab her mail and our stuff and then
we're going to bring it to Hazard. And they're families.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Their mom like, you're gonna have to run a trailer.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
Breday County where my mom's from. So again, you know,
it's all family.
Speaker 1 (43:17):
You're going to show up in a pod the mail.
It's the mail.
Speaker 2 (43:22):
Oh you mean like a traveling Yeah, because it'll be Yes.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
It's gonna be so much mail.
Speaker 3 (43:26):
It's gonna be like like like, uh, what was that
great movie A Miracle on thirty fourth Street?
Speaker 2 (43:32):
Oh right, when they all wrote.
Speaker 3 (43:33):
Sam Yeah, and uh and also uh, mister Smith goes
to Washington another great one. But so pay attention to
what's going on in the news right now because and
watch some alternative news.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
And by alternative, I'm I'm.
Speaker 3 (43:48):
Sorry, folks, I'm gonna i gotta throw lately anyway, I've
gotta I've got to put uh. I think Fox has
two legs and one butt cheek on the other side
of the fence right now. And I don't know why,
because I love Fox.
Speaker 1 (44:07):
I don't know why. But if you want to see what's.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
Going on, you want some some great opinions about what's
going on, and they will show you both sides. It
does lean toward the right, but they will have someone
from the other side on. Watch Newsmax. Newsmax is great lately,
(44:30):
they've been.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
They're still good.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
Well they're they're good, but they were they were, they've
been disrespectful. I don't know why people treat President Trump.
He is like him, none of them. I hate him whatever. Whatever.
Speaker 3 (44:46):
Nobody cares what your or my or your opinion is
about the current Nobody cared about my opinion about President Biden.
Speaker 1 (44:55):
I did not like him at all.
Speaker 2 (44:58):
Everybody cared. When you said about the assassination, I said that, don't.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
Put that nonsense out there. I know, but that was
I'm a lawyer.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
That was Harvey, Harvey what the hell is his name? TMZ,
which I also appreciated, like, but that bastard is the one.
That bastard is the one that said I use the
word assassination. Words are important.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
I did not say that.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
I didn't. I said the assassination thing, meaning that it
turned into big tim the assassination thing. When what John
said was if you.
Speaker 3 (45:29):
Do this and it is treason, you are I said,
I believe you're guilty of treason, right, and what is
the remedy for treason?
Speaker 2 (45:36):
Assassination?
Speaker 3 (45:37):
No, it is not assassination. Words are important, My god,
I'm not in Yes, details aren't important?
Speaker 2 (45:47):
Isn't that richer? That's one of our shows. Reacher says
details are important.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Details, because everybody has the plan until they get punched
in the nose. But a lot of people have used
the term treason with regard to many people in the
Biden administration, including Biden.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
But I threw that out there just to make the point.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
You threw that out there just to get a rise
out Well true.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
But he got a rise out of everyone. But in
the end, guess what John ended up being right? I mean,
you did at the times ago, Well, they still Secret
Service never came.
Speaker 1 (46:26):
John did jury.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
The jury is still out about whether or not Joe
Biden committed treason.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
I still believe he did. I believe his son did, right.
I believe many Yes, I believe many people in his
administration did things that were.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
Not only more for them and less for the United
States and the good of the people whom they worked for.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
But I think they did things for them in spite
and to the detriment intentionally, which is a very important word.
Speaker 2 (47:00):
To us.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
It's like people said, wow, you can't, you can't.
Speaker 3 (47:06):
Some if I have to be careful, right, because I
don't want them knocking on the door of the motorhome either,
but this administration wouldn't. But there's a difference between doing
a poor job and refusing to do your job. I
believe with all my heart and soul and socks and
(47:26):
running shoes and golf clubs that Joe.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Biden refused to protect our borders. He didn't just do
a bad job. And my orcus as well, may orcus,
they didn't do a bad job with a They didn't.
It wasn't it wasn't even a poor plan, badly executed well.
But they know they refuse to.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Do it, which is a terrible job.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Yeah, So if you refuse to.
Speaker 3 (47:54):
Do your job, and in this case, I believe I
was raised to believe that the number one job of
the elected officials, whether you are local or the president
of the United States, your number one job is to
protect your constituency, to protect the people you serve. So
(48:17):
you can't you can't be caught in a treason this
act for doing a shitty job, but you can be
caught in a treasonous act for refusing to do your
job in the first place. And that was my point,
and there have been many people talking about that since then.
But as you know, every dog needs to pee on
(48:38):
the tree, full circle circle. How many, how many, how
many country music legends are now saying the same thing,
but never mentioning me, never saying you know, I mean personally,
I can't wait for Beyonce's new polka album to come out,
Poka Poka, because you know, John, you know, look, I mean, in.
Speaker 2 (49:01):
Both those regards, you weren't wrong. It's just because you
were quite uh forward. I was first, your first. So
now everybody jumps on the bag and wagon when it's safe.
When Biden's gone, oh, well, you know, it's treason. I
love did, but John said it way early on and
(49:24):
he just got I want to say crucified.
Speaker 1 (49:27):
But it kind of was, well, no, yeah, that was bad,
you know.
Speaker 2 (49:30):
And the reason I said throughout assassination assassination because they
all know they tried to you know, the funny shoes,
which was crazy, but they did. And then it's stuck
and stuck and stuck and stuck. So but in the
end John wins because Biden's out. John's in, and I'm well,
you're in your big You're in the n club.
Speaker 1 (49:52):
But Biden's I'm with the cool kids.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
That's well, a lot of cool kids were bound and
we know, but but Biden just over and over and
over again, now even you know, aren't talking about you know,
all this money where to go?
Speaker 1 (50:08):
Oh my god, I mean us a I d Every.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Day it gets worse and they want to jump on
John Schneider for saying like, well, you know, I think
kind of looks like he may have committed treason. And
this is why no, I.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
Said he did. I mean I was not. I didn't.
I didn't I know, but still I said, you should.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
I believe you you committed treason and should be publicly
hung your son too, Sincerely, John Schneider.
Speaker 1 (50:32):
That's what I said.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
That is what he said.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
That is what I said. Night the night I was,
I was unmasked as the mask Donut.
Speaker 2 (50:40):
I'll never forget it. We were all watching at Shipley's,
a big group of Madisonians, and we were still threaded.
I knew they did, and I didn't tell them, but
I knew John was a donut and it was very exciting.
And then the next morning I'm looking because I always
wake up so.
Speaker 1 (50:59):
Early, like I wish trending.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
My god, John's trending, and not in a good way.
I was like. And then John calls me, maybe seven
or seventh He goes, hey, how you doing honey, love you,
what's going on?
Speaker 1 (51:11):
Blah blah. I'm like, did you send that tweet?
Speaker 2 (51:15):
Because I kind of thought maybe it was a mistake
or whatever.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
And episode.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
Anyhow, And so what's so funny is is if you
watch a movie that I did call Christmas Cars, there's
a line in there where I'm talking to a guy
that owns a has a toy factory, right, and I say,
you know, I'm I'm I'm trending.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
I'm trending and he said I know. And I said, well,
that's good. Right. He said, it depends on why you're trending.
So that was the That was the event.
Speaker 3 (51:45):
There By the way, I'm not going to mention why
I'm saying this, but I want you to know that
The Masked Singer is filmed about three months before it's aired.
Speaker 1 (51:57):
There you go. So I had to be quiet for
a very long time, which is hard for me. But
the cool thing about that, really it's hard to be quiet.
Speaker 3 (52:10):
Cool thing about that is nobody on the Mass Singer
knows who else is on the Mass Singer. We are
completely We're like a jury of one sequestered from all
the other eleven.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
Your outfit was five thousandbody else is No, there was
a there was an NBA player there too.
Speaker 3 (52:31):
I forget what like snuggles snuggles. No, it was some
big furry critter. But I don't even know who that was.
All I knew is that I felt pretty big. This
this thing lumbers by me like, oh my god, outfit.
So have a good time in your life. That's I
guess that's the important thing.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
But say, don't, don't not don't not let your friends
know what you think. Uh, be verbal, And I.
Speaker 3 (53:03):
Don't mean just about I don't mean about politics, but
about anything about what your dreams are, what your hopes are,
what your aspirations are.
Speaker 1 (53:09):
If they do something it pisses you off, tell them,
let them know. What was that beep?
Speaker 2 (53:15):
That's a truck backing in.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
No, not that one. I heard it. Not sound like
what is our time up?
Speaker 2 (53:19):
I think it might be.
Speaker 3 (53:20):
No, I don't think we have three minutes? Is there
anything else you would like to say? I think it's
kind of in the dark over there. I love you
very much too.
Speaker 2 (53:32):
I'm not in the dark.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Okay, Well, Verry, you don't look in it, but here
you look Okay, I like it.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
In the dark.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
You look beautiful.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
You know we could make out.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
In front? What did what did they what did the
F troop? Not in front of the men? If you
haven't seen have you seen F trup? Oh, by god,
there's another one.
Speaker 3 (53:50):
The end of the suitablel War was near when quiet
accident to Lee ken Berry, Forrest Tucker, Uh, Larry Storch wonderful,
wonderful show Indova they shot that where we shot dukes later?
Is that and white show or it's one of those
ones that started black and white went to color like
don't don't, don't dump down down don't don't.
Speaker 2 (54:16):
Yeah, we love Wild.
Speaker 3 (54:19):
So great, and I had the great honor of doing uh,
Robert Conrad's They didn't call it a podcast.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
At that point. I don't know what the what the
heck they called.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
They do when they started all that, because you know,
I bet Tony knows, you know, Tiger or guy they're great.
Speaker 3 (54:33):
Oh, by the way, the guy that was there, great
and danger danger Will Robinson.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
He does all the intros and outros on time Tunnel,
which is really awesome, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (54:46):
And all of this, you know why that show has
not become a series of movies like Mission Impossible.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
I have no idea. Oh that's what it was.
Speaker 3 (54:55):
So if you've not seen Irwin Allen's Time Tunnel, truly,
the show is on the Where do we find it?
Speaker 1 (55:01):
Amazon Prime? Check that out. A lot of fun. But
I'm saying all this to say, have fun. My god,
you know we're here for a for a. So we're
here for a Jimmy Best did that. He was just
gone away again and again he is.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
He is married in Cordon, Indiana at the first State Capital.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
And that's not Oh, Jimmy Best is buried in Cordon, Indiana. Yes,
that's correct, to go and visit.
Speaker 3 (55:31):
Hey, your respects to Sheriff Rosco Pea cole Trane. But
he's James Best. He's a Hoosier.
Speaker 1 (55:37):
He's a great guy, wonderful, wonderful guy.
Speaker 2 (55:39):
You know, find the positive, but find something fun or
positive every day. Man. Look, this morning was a little
rough for us. But in the end we're laughing and
it's fun and it's great. And so we survived it.
Not only did we survive it, we thrived.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
And if we I met great people and.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
You look at the good things where you know, the
buffs are always negative and mean and hateful and whatever,
go to that corner and just stay there because you
know it's not good to be that way to the world.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
But just get out of it. Choice, get out of it.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
Look, you've got to have your moments.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
But in the end, choose joy. Choose joy. There he goes.
I don't know if you saw him, but there he goes.
Get one, try one, try uh.
Speaker 2 (56:21):
But you know, you know, if you were so good
at it, I look at it. It's amazing how they
do it. Honey, you're good.
Speaker 1 (56:29):
If I didn't have this is the one piece. You
hit the pole.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
And I come in us with my bags and I'm like,
the police are there.
Speaker 1 (56:39):
Oh, look at that. We're almost out of time.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
But anyway, it worked out because in the end there
they wanted a picture with John and I'm gonna leave you.
Speaker 1 (56:46):
I'm gonna leave you with this, yes, so yeah, yeah, yeah,
leave you with this. So Earls of Perry is a
lot like Dukes of Hazards.
Speaker 3 (56:53):
So if there are a couple of people in the
in the not now TV world, but a couple of
people in the TV world from twenty years ago, thirty
years ago that you would like to see back on television,
make a couple of suggestions because I am buh.
Speaker 1 (57:14):
Who let that dogs out.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
So I'm I'm in favor of calling people who are
like me who were on shows before and giving them
new opportunities. So if there's somebody that reminds you of
Boss Hog or somebody that reminds you of Roscoe or
Kletis or or Enis, drop.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
Us a note, let us know in the in the
thing here, Okay, to be.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
Reminists, we have to go not a carbon coffee, but no, no, no,
it's not.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
A carbon coffee. But we want we want you to go, oh.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Yeah, nostalgia. But please think about if you can't make
it to Hozard, if you want to donut to these
blood victims, you could really use it and we appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
We'll put the link in there and thank you and
this and that's the only link that you need to
pay attention to.
Speaker 1 (58:05):
Nobody else.
Speaker 3 (58:06):
So any people, thank God for Kid Rock and for
President Trump. They signed something that's going to try to
eliminate these scalpers that are driving ticket prices to concerts
through the roofs. So that yeah, scalpers and scammers they're
driving the ticket prices through the roof So that folks
who are really fans can't afford to go.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
That's not fair. We have entered into the land and
the time of fair, so let's be fair. I have
a little bit of ice water, No one more thing.
Speaker 2 (58:32):
Remember the car show on Saturday and hazard John will
be there. If you want to make a donation, or
if you want to get your picture with John or signature,
it's want twenty bucks, right and it'll all go every
bit of the money and goes to the flood victims.
And if you want to mass make a donation, we'll
not go to a bureaucrap because a lot of them
have been living in these terrible trailers for a long
time and we need to get them out of there
(58:54):
and get in and Furman generators. They're donating.
Speaker 1 (58:56):
We've got to all hunts of Thank you, Sean, We're
out of time.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
People from twenty states and Germany are coming. We help
you do too. We love you, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (59:05):
This has been drinks with John d.
Speaker 2 (59:09):
D and John Indeedy and John.
Speaker 1 (59:12):
Ranks with us. You take care, Bah
