heed so much more, restore my product and flood the street.
Opinion Nation con fama ceeoh offend the late Nani's gonna

like a hurricane, durabile breeze, earnestly speaking, leave me eat
like a tiny free shits. The podcast coming to you

(01:07):
Thursday night, late night, eleven three at night, August fourteenth,
twenty and twenty five. We'll be dropping us on Friday morning.
How are you guys doing? Uh? I am tired. I
just finished recording a new wrestling retrospective podcast with had
all three guys in the minors. The podcast, DJ Robin
Jean's the Chorus and Jason Howe on the on the show,

(01:31):
we're dropping that episode on Monday. We did the we
did the watch along on the nineteen ninety Great American Bash,
So we're trying to get some of those things in
the can. I got a lot coming up in the
next couple weeks. I was a football frond the corner,
basically getting back into a routine again in all phases,
whether it's the podcast, but also here at home. This

(01:54):
is the fourth week of school. My kids are back
in school this week, and I gotta tell you, Ben
rough like, you know, being off ten weeks and getting
an extra hour or so of sleep, you know, and
my age is forty five years old. It's a big deal.
And now I lose that hour again. And I have
to be honest to you. Not only has it been
hard for me, do you up in the morning to

(02:16):
get them ready from school? I mean I get up
at seven ish in the morning, but I'm slugging out
of bed. But now my kids, you know who, normally
every day when they go to school, they are ready
to go, like they're ready to go and attack the day.
This year so far, for days in I've had to
drag their ass out of bed. You know, my youngest son, Logan,

(02:36):
typically has no problem get up in the morning by
myself some most warning, is up at six story in
the morning, around seven, he dressed himself the whole nine
he's ready to go. For some reason, this year so far,
he's been sleeping in. I've been beating both the kids
up awake before school, and that is something we gotta
work on. So, you know, we're getting the routine back.

(02:59):
I imagine by sometime next week a week after we
will be okay and we'll be back to where we
should be in terms of the routine. But in the meantime,
also too a routine with that, we got a routine
with work, you get the routine also with the podcast.
Now were gettinglose to football season. So as you guys know,
for the last fourteen years doing the show football season
between September and February, we are absolutely loaded on content,

(03:24):
loaded on content a lot bit football. But also as
we get closer to you and the end of the
baseball season, we get we get to the beginning of
the basketball season, get to the beginning of the of hockey.
Of course, if you don't cover as intensely as we
other sports, but we do talk about it and and honestly,
just in general content as a whole, this time of

(03:44):
year is I mean, I would say for a lot
of people like this time of year, content you know,
in entertainment is and and sports is at its highest
right now. And you know, I'm grateful for I love
doing the content. But it is also like again, I'm
a one man show. You know, I produce this stuff.
I write this stuff, I you know, record the stuff. Everything,
everything is done by me. All the work, you know,

(04:04):
all the stuff on the socials, you know, the the
the clips, the you know, all the stuff, like all
the promoting that's done by me, one man. That is it.
I don't pay my due to stuff. This is me.
This is a passion project. You know. You know you
guys give me a subscribe. All I ask you, guys,
is to is to make sure you scrap button, share
the friend parent you know, friends, you know, fam members,

(04:27):
does matter, share, share, share the show free content here
for you guys. I mean, we have a lot of
stuff that I record for you guys. Wrestling content, sports content,
music content. We're doing a lot of other variety content.
We're doing a lot of new stuff here. Is it?
Is it a labor of love? Yes? Is it? Is
it hard work? Yes? Do you enjoyed apps to fucking loutely?
I do? But it does where we're out, Which is

(04:50):
why I'm thinking about. You know, I've been crying my
head as to whether or not I shoot in this
era in this time now me doing routine? Is it
time for me to be on a schedule? So they
started start having shows? Or you expect a show on
a Tuesday and a show on a Friday and then
a show on the weekend. And is it time for
me to start got on a routine? And I'm gonna

(05:11):
attempt that right now. The problem is that there are
times while I was like, not like recording, but there
are ways around that. You can also bake in shows
like if you record, like for example, the the pod
did Early Night with with with the Mindless Guys. We
record it tonight, but I'm not dropping that episode until Monday.
Those are every game that's every game show we did
a watch along, So there are ways around that. And

(05:33):
and I think this is why I love podcasting too.
And I don't think I take enough advantage of this
is that if you record content that is not time sensitive,
you have a lot more wiggle room to release the content.
And you load up in the content on Monday or whatever,
and you spread it out among other days. You will
in holes of days that otherwise you wouldn't be recording

(05:55):
episodes and the listener will know that. Listen won't know
that those recorded a day or two ago, like you
only know now if I'm telling you. But like the
wrestling retropod again at the tonight dropping on Monday wide
recorder tonight, you know, but you will. I mean, just
I didn't tell you you would know the time. So
there are ways around that's I'm looking. I'm looking at
ideas now to maybe start being a little more creative

(06:17):
of how I release episodes. Maybe bacon some episodes, maybe
dedicated one of two days, or I record multiple episodes
of a podcasts as long as not time sensitive, and
then spread them out accordingly rest of the week. And
that way I have more time to relax because look,
I love doing this. But I look, here's the thing too,
also with me in routine this fall, so I have

(06:39):
all those songs do here, you know what I record
at minimum, at minimum, anywhere from three to five shows
a week on this content on this feed easily, okay,
and that's on a low end. Then I have my
daily podcast I do, which I get paid for at
my day job weekly toal I'm sorry, a weekly podcasts
I do every Wednesday, and we're doing and again because

(07:01):
we're a big football centric show and football fans and
stuff and football is the big deal we're gonna be,
We're putting a lot more energy and a lot more
work into the show this coming season. You know that's
that show has been success. Now putting more into that one,
and so I mean that means more homework and more
more looking up the things and staffs and all this stuff,
because I don't want to suck an idiot out there.
So there's time for that one. Then that's coming also

(07:23):
too as well. And I'm not gonna be able to
start the show until after Labor Day. Every Tuesday, I
do the whole podcast every Tuesday with my guys big
GYM and and whatnot. We do that show me week
every Tuesday. And that's another two hours I do on Tuesdays.
So the cup runneth over on content which I again
I'm not complaining. I love this ship. This ship's great.
I love doing it, but but there does come times

(07:47):
where I'm like, am I doing too much doing it?
Slow down? And that's why I think with me, if
I'm going to dedicatest out to doing more content on
this peek especially too, and you know, just wanted to
put them up, put out as much different content as possible,
it might require me being a little creative now when
it comes to how I record them and how I

(08:07):
spread them out, we'll see. But again, podcasts made for me.
If podcast was made for me, and I will figure
out a way to get through that. So that's just
what it is, you know. And also you know, in
addition too, I gotta kea, I gotta VACATIONE come up
this this coming U in the week and a half
a week, well two weeks really, I'm going to New
York for a couple of days. My wife and I
doing that trip. I guys know, talking about this for

(08:29):
probably a nauseum for the last couple of months now.
But we're going through a concert, my wife and I
and some friends. I'm going to see System of Down
along with Corn at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, but
we're gonna also spend some time in New York for
a couple days. We're gonna go to a Broadway show
to see the Book of Mormon. We're gonna go eat
a lot of food. I cannot wait. My wife, who
has been on a strict, strict dive from the last

(08:51):
especially in the last couple of months. I mean, she's
been even healthy relative in the last two years, but
these last couple months has really really laid a hammer
down on no carbs, no sugar. She does plan on
eating to a heart's content, especially when we go to Chinatown.
So we got a lot of things there. We'll work
an extra hours two also on a personal level to
make sure you have money put aside from that for

(09:11):
that trip, and because we were gonna make me finding
a lot of money to food, you know, souvenirs, all nine.
This is the big This trip is a big deal
for her, My wife especially too, because this is her
first time going to New York in her life. Her
dad's from New York, but his dad, her dad moved
out in New York pretty much after he left at
the age of eighteen, So you know, it's a big

(09:32):
good for her. And I'm looking forward to Europe. The
biggest thing for me is when I when I land
in Lagordia and leave the airport to go to the
hotel at two o'clock in the afternoon on the twenty
seventh of August. I'm looking forward to see my wife's
beautiful face and seeing her reaction. The only thing that
would be better than this than this trip, than her
going to New York in August, is going New York

(09:53):
in the cold. You know, she does cool weather, she
hates hot weather. She wants to trying to be in
a cold. Hopefully, when we get back we will record podcast,
but even then I'll be eating days off and recording.
So but what I'm what I'm might try to do.
I'm gonna attempt to try to record some episodes. We're
making some episodes and in the days I'm gone have
them on the feed ready to go for you guys,

(10:14):
to have content here for you guys, because I love
you guys, and you guys support what we do here,
and I appreciate everything you guys do. So I will
be hoping to try. I'm gonna be trying that week
to record some extra content for you guys to we
have In those few days, I'm not gonna be available.
We have content for you guys to digest, So we'll
see how that plays out again the schedule. As long

(10:37):
as things work going home, we will be I'll be
trying to do that. Some very sad news and music
today that dropped one of my favorite bands in the world,
my top top five band for me all time, Mega
Death announced today that they are putting out their final tour,
and they also say that this tour they go on
in twenty twenty six will be their last tour ever.

(11:01):
David Stainne found in front end of the band really
the statement saying this, There's so many musicians that come
have have come to the end of their career, whether
accidental or intentional. Most of them don't get to go
out on their own terms on top. And That's where
I'm at in my life right now. I have travel
the world and have made millions upon millions of fans,
and the hardest part of all of this is saying
goodbye to them. Uh, don't be mad, don't be sad,

(11:26):
be happy for what for us all. Come celebrate with
me these next few years. We have done something together
that's truly wonderful and will probably never happen again. We
started a musical style, We started a revolution. We changed
the guitar world and how it's played, and we changed
the world. The bands I played in have influenced the world.
I love you all for it, Thank you for everything.
Mega Death of course found in nineteen eighty five. Damond Stayine,

(11:48):
of course famously was the not the original gutar player
People's original. It was not. It was actually Lloyd Grant
original was the original guard player from Atalaga. Dame Miss Staine, however,
did play with Metallic and on the original Devil the
nighte whul Oather, but he was also infamously fired from
the team on the band while doing the recordings on

(12:10):
the first album Kill Mall in New York City, which
then Kirk hamrit placed him. He's been a band ever since.
Damus Stayne I have said on this podcast. I said
it last year because I saw back that live again
for the third time last year in West Palm Beach August. Actually,
quite frankly year ago this month that Damus Stayin is,
in my opinion, the greatest and most talented guitar player

(12:31):
in this genre. Now he's had some health issues in
recent years. He had I think he had a cancer scared.
I think about six years ago he survived that. He's
he's in the smith sixties now. Man, he's getting older.
He's not He's not getting younger. I wonder if the
health issues is what has made him slow down. I
don't know if it's if it's the the reoccurring band members,

(12:52):
his tire hole that I don't know, if he has
nothing more more to give the music, I don't know
what it is. But the sad news nonetheless, Well definitely
Megadeth hopefully come down here for another another trip down
down in Florida. I will I will be seeing them
if they play anywhere near within five six hours of
where I where I'm at right now, I will be
going seeing them because I love them and they're a

(13:12):
great live band. But yeah, this is a sad news. Man.
I'm a huge Mega Death fan, top five band for
me all the time. Like I said, I see him
three times live and every time I've seen them that
they've been amazing. Uh to watch. So again a shout
out to Damus Daine and Megadeth as they are preparing
to exit stage right. So you know, at work, we've

(13:35):
been to the football around the corner. We've been talking
a lot about football and legacies and who's this top
five this all time and obviously the focos on the corner,
so we the football talk has gotten loud already and
we will talk about something. I've been a couple a
couple of days ago with some coworkers of mine and
we were talking about greatest quarterbacks of all time and

(13:56):
putting up top five. And you know, I I am
one of the probably one of the biggest Dan Marino
fans on the planet, and I've said I have been
one of the biggest advocates. I've said that Dan Marino,
in my opinion, is probably a top five at worst
top six quarterback in the history of the league. So
if you do a top five list from me, I've

(14:17):
always said that my top five goes you know, the
top three is obviously you know, interlinked, uh Tom Brady,
Joe Montana, Patrick Mahomes, Peyton Manning, and then five, five,
and six. I got interchangeable like five or sex is
like Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino. But so I guess
if I were to draw straws, I might give it

(14:40):
a Rogers only because that's the ring. But the careers
are pretty pretty much, very very very comparable. Is that
The only difference between Rogers and Marina My opinion is
the rings. Like the both guys are arguably one of
the most town the quebacks in the history of the league.
But Dan Marino is I've I've come to place now
where I think Dan Marino in twenty twenty five is

(15:02):
really underrated. He was doing things in the mid eighties
that was unheard of numbers wise. I mean, someone was
saying one of the core saying, so what was the
big deal eating in a ring? Look, I'm not saying
rings are not important. Rings are very important. But all
they do and as I said, in every sport for
the most part. Now, obviously the wait is differently because

(15:22):
the impact of set player is lessened depending on the
sport they play. Like rings to me mean a lot
more in the NBA than they do in the NFL,
because in the NFL, the streets has the ball, there's
the offense, there's defense, special teams. You could be a
great quarterback and have phenomenal numbers, but if your defense sucks,
it does not matter. Okay, Dan Marino, in my opinion,

(15:45):
is better than Brett fav He's better than Troyitman, He's
better than Drew Brees, He's better than Eli Manning. Guys
that have all won rings with multiple rings. You're not
gonna sit here and tell me these guys as mentioned
or Baron Denrie because they have rings, get the ever
living fuck out of here. Dan Marino is a top
six quarterback of all time. If he had even a

(16:07):
a smidge of a solid defense for one year, he
wins one ring. He did go to the Super Bowl,
and he lost to an all time great nineteen eighty
four forty nine Ers team led by Joe Montana for
the record, who Who's number two my list all time?
And I think Den Marino is so so as you
get into twenty twenty five, so disrespected. And you know,

(16:28):
I am here to make sure that as long as
I'm on this earth, you will know the name of
Dan Marino and him being an all time great. All right,
all right, streaming streaming is getting ridiculous, guys. I guess
got an email from Peacock saying that starting next month
that their their rates are going up three dollars. So

(16:49):
now we're paying We're gonna be to paying sixteen ninety
nine a month for Peacock. Streaming is going crazy. So
you have all these mergers, you know, WWE making deals
with Disney, Yeah, the UF deal with Paramount. There's rumor
now about w W not only obviously they made the deal
with you know, with ESPN and and putting putting the

(17:09):
pols on their platforms. And now there's there's some rumors
now that the w and ESPN are looking into pop
c moving the entire library on ESPN's platform, which we'll see.
The Peacock deal obviously ends in twenty twenty six. I
will do a definitely on the next False Count podcast.
I think myself and Rob are gonna do a massive,

(17:31):
big discussion point about the future of the w and streaming,
but streaming and Jumble's going crazy. You have Hulu now,
you know, Disney isn'na is gonna it's gonna take full
control of Hulu and all the Hula matur is gonna
be under the Disney banner officially HBO and you know
Max is now a turn back to HBO Max. There's
so many things going on right now. It's so much

(17:52):
you know, like I said, people are starting to say, well,
streams on streaming is not really worth anymore because you
know it's now getting spent. And I I see your
point there, But what have I always said about streaming
and why I still prefer streaming over cable. It's that, yes,
you're the cost now is starting to get crazy to
the point now where it's on level cable. But what

(18:14):
if I told you guys, with streaming you have way
more control about the stuff you're watching. Like if you
don't want HBO, you don't want Netflix, you can just
cancel it. They gotta do is cancel it. Whereas what
cable whatever bundle you justide to pick and choose in
terms of uh content if you want to keep a
certain uh uh. Let's say let's say you get a bundle,

(18:37):
a load ter bundle. But in that load ter bundles,
there's channels in there you really don't give a crap about.
Let's say you have in that load ter bundle you
have a you have the NASCAR channel, and you have
the Lifetime and some other channels in there. That was
by way, it's part of the bundle. You can't get
rid of it. And guess what you're still paying for it.
You're still pay for it. You're still covering that carriage
feed no matter what you know. So that's the difference

(18:58):
between cable and and streaming for me. I saw stat
last week, but for the first time, I believe was
last year. There are more people in this country that
are streaming than have cable TV. So we're now going
to place now we're streaming. Now is now the dominant
UH source of media in this country in comparison to

(19:20):
cable TV. Things are change, man, Things are changing. Obviously,
you want to pick and choose the things you want
to to to get and whatnot. And I get all that,
but ain't going away, man. And like I said, I'm
really curious in terms of you know, sports in the
NFL and especially the I want to see how things

(19:41):
go with the streaming services and costs and whatnot. It's
gonna be a very very fast thing. That's a couple
of years. Especially now with the the deal with Paramount
and ufc IS is actually very intriguing because now with that move,
that move now creates a situation where now all the
paper reviews now will be on Paramount. Now you got

(20:02):
pay your extra paramount to do that or extra tear.
I don't know. That's a good question, so we'll figure
out that. I'm going forward. Having said that, to close
out the show's top five you like you guys don't
love the top five this podcast, I now give you
my top five streaming services to I like to watch
five Netflix. Yes, it's got expensive, but they have been
putting out some really really good content lately. I was

(20:26):
we've reviewing this on the show for next week or
on the on the on the False Count Show, w
W unreal documentary series, just watch it today. Fantastic The
Quarterback Series Season two just finished that this week as well, too,
fantastic as well. Netflix has putting out some really good content.
I've been spending a lot of time lately when I'm

(20:47):
not recording podcasts and whatnot, really catching up on content
these days, and Netflix has been really been front and
center one of my uh this is the last month
front and center the service I've been using the most,
So kudos to Netflix. Number four NBA leap Pass. You
guys know I'm a beast one nut, so emmy leap

(21:08):
pass between October and and April is prior number one
in my household. I'm no problem paying for NBA Leap
Pass because I use it every single night. And I'm
I'm a guy that has downstairs in my living room
three TVs that that got the big TV and then
got the two little TVs that my kids used for
the gaming stuff. But when they're asleep, those TVs go
to either heat game or it goes to a a
Marquee NBA game, and and it inter changing all night long.

(21:31):
I am an Emmy Leap Pass now hard and you
know you know how I feel about that. So Emmy
Leap Past still is probably number one in this household.
Number three YouTube, and this is probably be number one
decent is not really in order to just my top five.
YouTube is my number one streaming service I use for
any media. If I watch ESPN, if I watch clips

(21:53):
of shows, clips of podcasts, whatever. YouTube is my number
one go to you for all that stuff. I love
you Tube. I pay for it. I pray eighteens a
month for YouTube, and it's worth because I don't w
want the ads because I use I use it a lot.
It is justified now all right. Number two Peacock and
this might change because if Peacock loses the w W
network and the content there. This will follow my top

(22:14):
five because even though Peacock does have good content that
and in time KNOCKOUTWN, I still want to watch. They
have the NFL of course on there, and they're gonna
have the NBA too also with the NBA NBC returning
now starting this season. Peacock is the main reason Peacock
is used for me is because of the WWE material

(22:35):
and of course number one, it's still my favorite because
of the material I watch. All my favorite shows on
this on this platform is h now, HBO Max, Yes,
ho Max you know has all my favorite shows, Game
of Thrones, Sex and the City, you name it, all
the shows. But they also have a lot of shows
that they've merged in documentary style. They create some new
shows here. I know there's a some of the CNN

(22:55):
documentaries that now CNN is now put on the platform
as well too on then hbl X platform. So yeah,
for me, my top five right now, this I got.
This is fluid because it can change in the year's agome.
But Netflix, Emmy Lead Pass, YouTube, uh, Peacock and HBO
Max are my top five streaming services to watch today

(23:16):
and that will do it for today's podcast again dated
August fifteen, twenty twenty, twenty twenty five, which will also
be almost midnight, So me August sixteenth to be dropping
you on on Friday morning I and on x at
e J Christian number seven. Check out all the podcasts
we've been doing on the feed as of late. We've
been very very very busy here on the show and uh,

(23:40):
I'm trying to get this the area knows. Like I said,
you got all the content false count anywhere. Rest of
the respect retrospective, the music Lounge come back soon, basket
respective we we did one a couple weeks ago on
Films was coming back very soon. We got a lot
of cool stuff interviews this show, you know what you
name it. All this stuff going out here. Just check
in on YouTube at YouTube dot com. Force Ernest Christian

(24:00):
Ernstry Pod of course, No, I'm sorry, you should have
