have found the best masseuse at my place I go to.
She's fantastic. She did a great job today on my

ass knot that bad way. I got that that knot

on both ends after my trip in New York last
month for some reason. I don't know how I got that,
but whatever me what it is. I went to the
mis such today and that's all gone. Like all that,
all the all the pain, the sources that happen for
all gone. She did deep tissue. She did fantastic job.

love sports, but at least lately anyway, and love me,

it doesn't love me. I had a very shitty sports weekend.
And mind you, this is including the fact that my
New York Giants won the first game of the year
Jackson Dart his first start, very solid because in the second.
But the two teams that I was really focused on
this weekend on my costball team forest A Seminoles and

then my baseball team New York Mets. Seminoles of course
had a huge, big game against Virginia that they lost. Okay,
a game that I was worried about. That's said it'd
be a trap game because of course the big game
punt this week is um and Florida State, which is
my favorite robbery all sports. You know, obviously that game
is a little bit tempered now tempered down now because
of the loss of Virginia.

But hads did the job on Friday.

The hype for FSGUM would be through the roof, would
be the biggest UMFSU game we've seen probably about twenty years.
I remember a game with the betitude has now. Given
where they're at in the rankings ever soon won that
game in Virginia, they're probably in the top five. Give
me how things playing out this weekend. In rest of
West coag football, they've been in the top five. So
you have two gets five two, it's four at least
this year, this week coming up. But instead FSU looks

ahead FSU like garbage. They didn't do their job, And
I knew I had a feeling this. This game scared
me because Okay, it's a game on a Friday night
on the road in a tough environment, it's a conference opponent.

The New York Mets have had a very shitty four
months after having a great start of the year. They
they ready blew the National League East lead. Philadelphia won
at least a long time ago. Okay, but they were
released still in the Wildcard and control the Wildcard for
the most part. But in the last coupl of weeks
they've been duking it out with Cincinnati, with Arizona the
Giants full while two walls up if even see Lewis

in that race two. The Mets entered the weekend with
a one game lead in the in the Wildcard. All
they had to do was win two out of three
and they win the series and they then play as
a walt Card. Now, mind you, I've already told you
guys that even if the end get in the playoffs,
I am not confident this mass team to do anything
because they're pitching the ship in. My wife listened to

the unfilter product that yesterday I record it. I did
a whole thing on the Mets, and they can't get
a job done. And even when they got to help,
even since that he lost on Sunday, had a Mets
one on Sunday, they get into the playoffs, they gonna
get the job done. Especially it was it was a
really shitty sportspeak up for me, it really was really shitty.
And you know, I said, I I left all my

between four est state between New York Mets. They have
this been the bane of my existence this weekend, and
they really reminded me why I love sports to love

Super Bowl, never experience any finals, experienced Standing Cup, I

have at least experienced all of it. Now the world
the last Mets World Series, I was six years old.
I was appreciate it, but I do remember living in
New York and hearing the you know, the big deal
about the Mets at that time. But I have experienced

York Giants Super Bowls, but I only got the three
that I really was when I was watching football nineteen
ninety eleven. Okay, Miami heat. I've been spoiled there. You know,

with with hockey, I was I was old enough. I
was watching hockey at the time when the Raiders won
the last Dwnley Cup in twenty four. Okay, but it
has been a rough couple of years for me. You know,

The Mets obviously stink this year melting down the heat
are going to be pretty mid this year for the
most part, although the East is pretty bad, so we'll

the heat anything significant this year. I'm missing here so
that it's a Mets, Giants heat rangers. I mean they
made in pleas again. I mean miss f blesslast year.
Who knows what they'll do this year Forlida State, you know,
the hype and all this stuff, and then they lose

to Now obviously if they beat mind Me this week,
they can change some things.

Sports has sucked for me really recently, and I mean
we're talking about for years where he had a meter

But you know, this is the Eveen flopping a sports
fan and luckily for me. I don't you know if

I got sbbed my text here. Anyway, it's been around

a couple of years. But again, I'm older, I'm mature,
I'm wiser. You know, if if my team lose the
game or loses something here, I I you know, one
day we had this ponder and like, oh, and then
I'm over it. You know, that's a maturity, I guess,
you know, because there are things in the world that
are more important than sports. Let's be really about that, Okay,

I'm saying. So but you know, anyway, that is my
shitty sports Weekend in review. Like I said, we want
to hear my rants on the New York Mets. I
cut a promo and the Mets Yesterday Unfiltered episode, which.

Week four Takeaways All right, Week four, I have some
five takeaways that stood out for me this past week.

I always say that.

We need at least a four game sample before we
can start really taking in what could be real. Like
Week one over reactions a real thing. Hell, we two
a reaction real thing. And it's the lost stories that
came out in the first whole weeks. You know, it's like, oh, well,
you know it's gonna be real shocking the loss here
or chocoing win here, and then things regressed to mean

and vice versa.

But four weeks then, like I said, it stoo up
big enough.

But four weeks it is at least enough to make
some calculated predictions, make some calculated assessments and whatnot.

First aquay for me, you saw neighbors of the Giants
get injured out for the up for the season.

Neighbors uh to a off of the year. Gotta be honest,

This injury actually though, may actually save Brian Dabeles job.
Here's why he's definitely on a hot seat this year.
I think him McDaniel probably wanted two, but the priority
right now is making sure Jackson Dart develops. If there's
one thing that Brian Dabeles was brought here to New

York for was to develop quarterbacks, obviously he can't do
it with Danion Jones down to his thready also went

Okay, but and and that Dark had a solid game

why they will fire him.

Growth from Dart, even if I was received his best receiver,
that can go a long way into shaping you know,
the conversation about him staying another year, Okay, we'll see,
we'll see.

I don't know. I'm not a fan of changing coaches.
Coaches let's see if the locker room.

Buys back into him again. But there's some reports that
the still lose the locker room little bit. But let's see,
let's see what happens to her. You know, maybe made
the move from Ross to him to Dart and so far,
so good. All right, second takeaway, so maybe green Bay
isn't takens team mcfter all. So remember the last two weeks,
and if you talk about sample sizes, but but but
but at the same time, green Bay's two wins out

the shoot were impressive. You beat Detroit, you beat Washington,
who was any to the best teams in the conference.

Okay, ran at home, but you beat those teams convincingly.
So green Bay through those two.

Weeks had the right to say, well, if Philadelphis number one,
but then we're number two.

But then the last two weeks you lose to Cleveland.

And then you tie with Dallas by way, Dallas who

Okay, that's a bad that's a bad look. That's to me,
that's a loss. I mean, I look at this game
on the Packers.

I look at the Packers, uh Cowboys game from Sunday
from Sunday night and to me it was a tie, yes,
but to me Cowboys won Packers loss because of the narrative.
Packers was sip point favorite that game in a row,
you know what I'm saying. So the fact that the
fact that you couldn't be Dallas, who was who who's
the walking wounded was a problem. So maybe Greenmay isn't

signs Seeing the conferences, we're all now, look again, they
have those key wins against Detroit against Washington, but have
you seen Detroit since then? Detroit is like like the
second esteem the conference by far. So the puzzles told
me put together, this is why we it's important not
to overreact and including myself. Look I'm guilty of that too.

Also I bought it early. And look, I'm not saying
Greema is not contender. I think it's still contender. They've
had a rough two weeks because they can turn this

love the NFL, because the puzzle is still being put together.

the bolt of Ravens. So the one in three and
listen hear me out here, they're not playing good football.
I think forgot to have a loss in the Chiefs

because that was on a table. Anyway, the way to
loss in the Chiefs was just concerning. That was the
worst loss in a Lamar Jackson started a game in
almost five years. I saw the stat that he hasn't
lost a game by double digits or by more than
one possession since I think twenty twenty one. I saw
twenty one some some date I don't know, and and

that and now the back of injuries on the defensive
line as well too. All the Ravens right now, even
though when the three a playoff team. Yes, I told
you guys last week on the show that even though
on the Friday Show, especially too, that even the loser
of this game is to not in trouble because the
AFC is not that good. The AFC right now through
four weeks not that good, and maybe it'll change going forward.

But who you're trusting. I know the Steels are three
and one and they have a lot of upside, but
do you see them turnning things around? They could probably,
but I don't see Steals runn win division. Okay, Denver,
I guess with Denver. For me, I've been hard on Denver,
but maybe they started to show some things here. But
outside of those teams, who were you really scared of
in the wildcards? Persituation that Baltimore gonna make us fro

ground and get into the wild card again, I do
believe we will have an eight or nine win team
make the playoffs. I think Baltimore will find a way
to win ten plus game preserent no matter what, even
a one in three, because you got Lamar Jackson and
he got Derrick Henry. Okay, that alone gets you to eight,
nine and ten ons right there? All right? I'm concerna
by concerning the Ravens is more internal because again, what

do we say coming to the year. This is a
super Bowl or bust season for the Ravens. If they
don't at least get to the super Bowl, John Horball
is probably gonna be gone. Okay, they happy at the
super Bowl, So even if they go fourteen to three,
it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter because if they lose
going to playoff, it's still failure.

So if I'm the.

Ravens and I get in a playoffs at say ten
and seven, but then get red hot in January and
go to super Bowl, hell win it, that's more important.
That's the play and I think that's still more likely
to happen right now than not. Okay, I think they
will still find a wake in the playoffs. But are
the lectrical concerns absolutely internal?

But can they? Are they fixable?

Yes, they're fixable, and I think they will fix it
at some point, even at one in three. All right,
Fourth thing, the start the loss to the Rams on Sunday.
I actually still feel good about this cool's team long term.
Twenty guys in week one and I'm still seeing it
four weeks in that there are things there with the
Cults that are sustainable for success. Now I'm not gonna

go so far as I say the super contender, and
I told you guys, had they won this game, that
would have shaped more of a conversation because you'd be
a really good team on the road, a team that
considered contenders well too. But you lost.

And but granted they look good and granted they beat
themselves also too.

In that game. I don't think Denze's play that played
that bad either. I think Dene's you know, he were
a little regression there compared to the first two weeks,
three weeks of the year, but he didn't.

Play that bad. I thought, I thought that they were
in that game.

They were in that game, so we saw I saw
things during that game that's like, Okay, you lost to
the Rams on the road. Granted it was it was
a it was a game that nip and tuck, you know,
but you weren't embarrassed. You were in the game. The
game you could have won. They probably should have won.
I feel good at this cold team. Now. Look, I'm
not gonna go so far as to call them a
super contender just yet. They're not. They're not there yet.

But there are some positive things to take away from
that game. And I think I think four weeks in.
What is clear is that even though I won't call
him super contender, what is clear is that they are
the best teammate at the division. Because even Houston winning
this Tennessee on the twenty six to something wasn't impressive.
That was a close game to the third quarter to
fourth quarter. Come on, I wasn't not impressed with but
Houston and I think there's really interest there in Houston

as well too. All right, final thing for me, Calum
Williams Beers quarterback. It looks like he's finally selling and
down it looks like he's finally getting it.

Look he's not.

Obviously, Jane Daniels had a phenomenal rookie year, bow Nicks
who had a really really good rookie year. So obviously
the benchmark for what Cayler Williams should be is not
there yet. He's he has to measure up to what
he was supposed to be. His number one pick in
the draft and the people were calling Jenerations quarterback. He's
not there yet. But what we are seeing as a
guy now is finding finally becoming a good quarterback, a
cable quarterback and has the upside to grow. Okay, and

these last this year in general, he's looked like a
quarterback that actually knows what he's doing. Now the Beers
have their guy, okay, and the more he focuses and
and leans into that and settles down, that the game
come to him instead of trying to make everything. Look
there's some chaotic plays also too. He's very chaotic. It's
Fray Mahomes in a sense. But the chaos now I see,
you know in the pocket is not as chaotic as

it was last year. Okay, there's some production to that. Okay,
there's some organization to that. I feel like with the
eye test, Kayla Wilimost looked like he's finally settled down
and it's a good different Beers fans look forward to.
The Beers now were what two and two? The two

So that's where I'm at with these takeaways. But again,
four weeks in nice sample, a long way to go,

the Giants and all that. You know, Russell Wilson obviously

against the Chargers because uh Dart had even taken out
of a game for for not for injury, but to
check up whatever we call it. The debate by Russell Wilson.
And you guys know, I'm a huge Ross guy. I've
been an advocate for Russell Wilson on this show for
World War A decade. So to me, the guy is

a class personified. Although there have been some things that
last company to come out, you know a little bit,
some of the deva tendencies that that people will report
on in Denver whatnot last year's in Seattle. But there's
a lot of conversations about the russ now slipped the
benching as to whether or not he has played himself
out of the Hall rank consideration. Now here's where I
stand on that first nine years in the league, he

was no doubt Hall of Famer, and somebody we even
say first ballot. I was still kind of unfenced, but
it was clear he was all all fame quarterback. For me,
the last five is the problem. The last five has
left little to be desired for me, you know, and
that's the thing. Was the last five bad enough to
where forget the fact that you gotta think about it

now it's because it's clari Now he's he's not a
first ballot guy. That's off the table. Now does he
even be considered? Is even on a ballot? Do we
people put on a ballot? Go forward? Has last five
years been so bad that we don't even consider it anymore?
Because he's he's had nine really really good, great years
versus the five bad years. You know, the thing I

look at is this. You know, I think I do
love Russ, but I think it's obvious now that he's
played himself out of that conversation. Okay, here's something no
one's considering. Also two and this, this is something I'm
gonna tell you that I'm gonna comparison to the Super
Bowl loss to Seattle hurts even more, not because he

didn't get better than the quarterback, because I would argue
Russe Wilson as the leasion of boom lesion of boom
started to go down, Russ did played the football as
a quarterback. So this argument about Russell, it was a
better quarterback in the latter of years of the Yachts
twenty eighteen, twenty seventeen to eighteen nineteen. You know Cole
Naskunning the show All Time Student Game always says that
Russell Wilson should have been an MVP in twenty seventeen. Okay,

The two super Bowls is actually let's says Eli Manning,
Because I can argue Eli Manning has a very similar
career track to Russell Wilson. Eli Manning's last five years
even longer last six seven years.

We're not that good.

In fact, they're pretty bad. Okay, and yet Eli Manning
is on a ballot. Okay, why is the man on
a bad out of ballot?

He won two bowls playing that guy and that team,

people don't understand what the costs of shows. You know,
you gotta pay you obviously paid to perform, or be
just paying you know, management, you're paying the fees to

If the fees are going to cover some of the

not paying for every fucking show that comes comes to

of the loss of Virginia.

they've been duking it out with Cincinnati, with Arizona the

in that race two. The Mets entered the weekend with
a one game lead in the in the Wildcard. All
they had to do was win two out of three
and they win the series and they then play as
a walt Card. Now, mind you, I've already told you
guys that even if the end get in the playoffs,
I am not confident this mass team to do anything
because they're pitching the ship in. My wife listened to

a whole thing on the Mets, and they can't get
a job done. And even when they got to help,
even since that he lost on Sunday, had a Mets

have those key wins against Detroit against Washington, but have
you seen Detroit since then? Detroit is like like the

him super contender, what is clear is that they are
the best teammate at the division. Because even Houston winning

Williams Beers quarterback. It looks like he's finally selling and

who had a really really good rookie year. So obviously
the benchmark for what Cayler Williams should be is not

the draft and the people were calling Jenerations quarterback. He's
not there yet. But what we are seeing as a
guy now is finding finally becoming a good quarterback, a
cable quarterback and has the upside to grow. Okay, and

these last this year in general, he's looked like a
quarterback that actually knows what he's doing. Now the Beers
have their guy, okay, and the more he focuses and
and leans into that and settles down, that the game
come to him instead of trying to make everything. Look
there's some chaotic plays also too. He's very chaotic. It's
Fray Mahomes in a sense. But the chaos now I see,
you know in the pocket is not as chaotic as

a lot of conversations about the russ now slipped the
benching as to whether or not he has played himself

is on a ballot. Okay, why is the man on

The comment that came, the comment that concerts enter price came,
was made by Mike Arpino, the CEO of Live Nation Entertainment,
which is the parent company of Ticketmaster. Juno conference Repina

was quote as saying things like, quote, music can be unappreciated.

I agree with that.

Actually. The only thing we'll say, though, is that now
always saying music of what era? Because I would argue
to music today not as not so what I might
say all music because the generalization, but much of music
that's on radio, for example, it's pretty shitty. Just really
about that, I might I might take them old a musician.
A lot of the music today is pretty shitty and derivative. Okay.

He compared concer prices to high end sports. Wait, let
me say it again.

He compared concert prices to high end sports tickets, saying
in sports, I joke, it's like a badge of honored
dispenser dollars seventy grand for a Knick's court side seat.
They beat me up if we charged Aharl's Beyonce. He
also stated that the concerts, the concerts is underpriced. It
has been for a long time. He added that we
have a lot of runaway left, suggesting room for fluder
price increases. While the quote came from the CEO of

the parent company, Live Nation, the news was widely reported,
with the headlines tying the comment to the ticket Master
boss due to the company's notoriety into ticketing space. Here's
my problem, Okay, I get what he's saying, actually, because
people don't understand what the costs of shows. You know,
you gotta pay you obviously paid to perform, or be
just paying you know, management, you're paying the fees to

use the stadium and the venue, just paying.

Truck drivers and you know all the things that attached
to that.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
So a lot of people when they go to concert,
they're not considering the things that are in that. The
issue with this is that Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster over charges their
fees are through the fucking roof.

Where are those fees going? That's my question.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
If the fees are going to cover some of the
costs when it comes to the artists and and their
and their entourage in terms of like when they need
to make the show go on.

Okay, fine, I have you, but I got a feeling
that the fees are not doing that.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
I got to I got to feel in these extra
fees for concerts artists to make profit, and it's and
that's bullshit.

So while I admire the.

Transparency of what he's saying here, at the same time,
you gotta read a fucking room, bro. Everyone tells you this,
everyone plays ticket prices. Okay. But here's the thing though,
and it goes back to I've been saying for many
times when it comes to w W for example, and what.

They're doing with they're what they're with their with their
brand and you.

Know, and over charging for WrestleMania and moving this show
and this show here and this and all this is
they've made that have alienated fans. The NFL same thing too. Also,
as a consumer, you can push back on this. Do
you know how you puts back on this? You stop
giving them money. You stop giving them money. Okay.

If you keep putting money in.

Their pockets, they they are gonna be justified in doing

action money for because I love them, like Metallica or

Concert at the Spear in Vegas next year, okay, I
will pay top dollar.

But that's because they're my favorite band. But but they're not.
There aren't really many artists or bands that I will
go out of my way to pay that kind of
money for.

Okay. System of down was it was an exception to
the rule for me when I went to New York
because I've never seen before and they're not touring, so
it required me to spend money on travel costs and
hotel costs and being in New York, New York for
a couple of days, and then of course paying for
the ticket crisis for the concert. Was it worth it
for me personally? Absolutely, It's a great experience. But I'm
not paying for every fucking show that comes comes to

my area to do that. That's not happening. Okay, So
on one hand, I'm pissed at him for the guy
saying this, but he's also stating something that's kind of factual.
But again, this is why I love capitalism. Okay, as
a consumer, if you have a problem with this, then
don't give them money. Don't make the facts sacrifice, don't

go to concerts. You're not tell about concerts. Okay, you'll
start to tell the heat. He was not entitled to
have low prices. But the only way they'll cut prices
that if people start going to shows. Symbols that symbols

of performers and concerts, Bad Bunny is officially named the
Super Bowl sixty halftime performer, which will take place February eighth,

twenty twenty six on a Sunday at Levi Stadium in
Santa Clara, California.

The last live band I saw play there, honestly was

amazing last year. Okay, I personallym just tired of seeing

the same type of acts all timee I'm tired of
seeing pop backs, hip hop backs over and over again.

I need some diversity. I need live band now.

Having said that, I think that will require you know,
more time to set up and tear down, and I
don't think they will do that. Okay, green Day but
another option. But honestly, Green Day comes at a risk
because Green Day is a very liberal band. Okay, they're very, very,
very outly liberal. In fact, they leads single Belli Joe
or Armstrong Hayes Donald Trump, and there's no doubt that

he will use use the opportunity to speak against Donald
Trump okay, he's done ready on his shows as his okay,
so Green Day have been more risk, Metallica lesser risk.
But again I think the lookout the logistics of doing
a live band there and look I much. I mean,
you know, if that's that's true or not. But if
that was true, there's no way Metallica for a fact,

isn't even to sign off for that playing playback, get
the fuck out of here. James Heffield will just walk
away and you know, laughing not happening. So there is
