Earnestly speaking, Yes, the breakdown with Denny Blanco on TikTok
and Twitter and Instagram along with It's in the Game podcast.
We're busy, we're active, we're throwing some content upright, I like.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
I got be honest with you.
Speaker 6 (01:53):
I think partially I brought you on the show today,
especially because I wanted to. I want you to excite
about basketball, because I'll be honest with you, like, I
am not that excited about the season well lessen two
weeks away, well actually about as recording about nine days
away for the promopening night, and and it's my her sport,
it's my pr league.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
But this year I was not as like intrigued. I
was not excited.
Speaker 6 (02:18):
Now, I will say having said that, Denny, watching some
of your videos in the last week or so on
on TikTok, it started getting you know, you know, started Okay,
I see now what's going on, and I figured, bring
brother on the show. Let's maybe so you can get
me back over the bridge again and get me excited
for the season. But I think all I think all
the injuries, with the Halbert injury and the Tatamed injury,
(02:39):
it's taken.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
It's the play of the start of the year for me.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well, listen, allow me to get you a little bit
excited about the NBA season twenty twenty sixth season. First
and foremost, Yes, to address the elephant in the room.
There are injuries that do happen that kind of deflate
this season because you want everybody at full strength to
(03:02):
go during this season. So I understand that thought process.
Having stated all that, the soap opera is the goddamn
soap opera. Okay, we have so many storylines to start
the season. We can start in the East, whether it's
the New York Knicks with their talent, are they able
(03:24):
to overcome that Cleveland Cavalier team to actually go to
the NBA Finals, Because let's be clear, in the East,
technically the team to beat is Cleveland. Everyone else is
just trying to trying to hit that mark.
Speaker 6 (03:40):
So let's start the first thing. One of the things
you said go to start doing with the five storylines
is that one of the rip.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
So the one I'm throwing out there because in the
East you have all these injuries. You have obviously if
you look at all the top teams that you think about, Okay,
going backwards, going from the top down, you got Cleveland,
they're still fully loaded even though they're injured. You got
the New York Knicks, they're fully loaded. Obviously. You see
Indiana they lost, they lost Halliburn, he's gone, So you
(04:09):
have to look at that. Then you have Miami, no
hero for a little bit. You have to look at that.
Then you just look look at Atlanta. Okay, God bless you.
If you think Christas Porzing is gonna play eighty two games,
let's just pencil him.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
If you get forty two, you'd be happy.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Let's pencil that in. Okay, Then you have Philadelphia, God
bless if you think Paul George or NBA is gonna
play all to eighty two plus games, let's pencil that in.
So you look at all of that, and then you
bring up the Orlandos of the world, and you bring
you bring up these other teams everyone else. After that,
you look at the Knicks and it's like, what's your
excuse for not being the one or two in the
(04:47):
East and challenging for representing the East in the NBA Finals.
For the East side, when you look at the West,
there's so many Whether it's Lebron James going into third
fifth year, okay, playing playing, playing better than you're still.
I told someone this the other day, and Lebron James
(05:11):
has been in the top ten of the best NBA
players for over fifteen years. Yeah, and I'm stretching fifteen
could be more, could be more.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
I'm just saying I think it more. Personally, I think
he was.
Speaker 6 (05:26):
He was the team, was a top ten player by
year two or three in the league, and he was
probably still there, probably in up until maybe twenty twenty two,
twenty three.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
That's saying something. So when I heard that he had
some issue where he had to take the season off early,
I said, you're pulling Aaron Rodgers. Go ahead, Lebron, You're
pulling Aaron Rodger. You say, you know what, I think
I've earned it. Twenty two to twenty three years in
the league. I think I've earned the skip October November.
Let me start in December, please, I mean, at this point,
I think I've earned that. You look at the West
(05:56):
and you look at Okay, see do they have do
they have any They clearly won the championship. The question
is can they do it again? Being the hunted not
the hunter? See being the hunted, knowing that every team
is going to give you their best because they know
the MVP is coming into the coming into the into
the arena.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Right, You're gonna get you.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
You may see a different team, you may not. Everything
in the West intrigued me besides your Lakers and joining
of the Luca. Okay, that's great, that's cute. Okay, let's
put that aside for a second. The Dallas Mavericks, whoa Okay,
you add you add you have Lively, you have a
d then you add Cooper Flag the phenom. Okay, and
then you and then you. You hear things about Kyrie
(06:39):
coming back. Possibly I don't know what they're thinking, but
you're talking about playoff time, Kyrie coming back. That's so Papa,
I'm paying attention to. People are talking about all the
Clippers are gonna be better than the Dallas Mavericks and
even Golden State. And I'm asking people from Golden State, Hey,
you Golden State fans, way to pick up the old
man Al Horford. God bless you. You pick up the
(07:00):
old man Al Horford. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Your front
line is what Al Horford and Draymond Green? Mmmm, that's
your start in front of court? Okay. So when I
look at your Dallas Mavericks' front court, I look at
the Houston Rockets front court. Okay, sees front court, and
(07:24):
I asked myself, how in that hell are you goal?
Is they going to rebound? How is that possible?
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Exact the Clippers.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
It's cute, you add Bradley Beal. Okay, don't get me wrong.
I love the talent on the team. On paper. It's sexy,
baby Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, bogie. You got Bradley Beal coming.
It's it's sexy zubox, It's Brook Lopez sexy. I still
(07:56):
don't believe that they're better. In my opinion, I don't
think the Clippers are better than Okay, see, I don't
think they're better than Houston. I don't even think they're
better than Dallas.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
To be honest, you think you think Dallas is actually
the big wall card at the Western Conference.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Dallas is a big high wye car for me, I
don't Golden State. Yes, I love Steph Curry, but are
you trying to tell me in the West, all these
officionados that are giving me predictions that this would be
the number two best eat the West, predictions that I
put on my breakdown, they've got Golden State at number two.
I said, wait a minute, hold on now, is that
(08:38):
because of Jimmy Butler? Is that because of Jimmy Butler?
You got got?
Speaker 4 (08:41):
They did go over run late in the year, remember
when he got there?
Speaker 6 (08:45):
Initially, God bless next seventeen to two at one point
with him, I feel you.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
And they got They signed Kaminga, God bless. They stopp
playing with my man's time and effort. God bless they
signed him. But he's gone as soon as POSSI. So
it's neither here nor there he's going. He's out of there. Okay. So,
in terms of the excitement for the NBA season coming up,
you got so many things to talk about, and then
(09:13):
you look at the last seven or eight years of
the championships NBA Championships, you're probably can assume who's gonna
be in the final four most of those years, but
you didn't know who's gonna win.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Yeah, parody party's back.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
You to an agree to a degree. You know who's
in the final four most of the time, all right,
maybe closer to January February, you're like, Okay, this is
the final four, but you never know who's gonna win
that actual championship. What have we got? Okayc one year,
Well we got uh, we got unto Sega and talk
(09:53):
to me Toronto. We got the Lakers, Lakers, you got it.
It's all over the place. Mission that could that could
be combined with uh, that conversation, you can say, well,
it's a lot of great players being uh, it looks
like it's spread out across the league where it's like,
(10:14):
now it's okay, a balanced uh uh you know, balanced
attack if you will when it comes to the parody.
But I still think the East is JV mm hmm.
That's just how I feel, east of JV and the
West is Varsity.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
Especially now what the injury student on on that side
of the ball. All right, so let's just this is
narrative down then, because you have all these what you're
doing is working. It's got me I think for me
for me too. Also, a lot of it for me
is the fact that I am also a massive football fan,
not NFL, but also College of Well too. So I
am right now being enveloped in football across the board,
(10:48):
baseball playoffs and just everything between.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
So basketball I love it. It's still it takes a
little bit to Okay, what.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Was going on? Now?
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Okay, what happened here? And you have to kind of
get get get your footing again, if you will. So
you did a good job with that.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
Yes, yes, Having said that, now let's let's narrows down
the five storylines you are most intrigued by in from
the year number one, number one, Number.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
One, will Cooper Flag actually help Dallas? Uh? Take that
next step with with Kyrie being out number two?
Speaker 4 (11:23):
It's a big down, quick kick.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
I'm intrigued by that situation because I said that with
Flag the reason why I want Dallas and not trade
him isn't. But but you driven Flag. You now have
two timelines. Now if you believe Flag is a future
All Star in the NBA, you now can have have
have a too. You can win now with him with
the Kyrie and a d and then when those guys
(11:47):
are gone eventually a couple of years, Flag would be
your guy moving forward. That's why I wanted them to
keep him and not sure that pick, because I figured
you have you have a too also as well. Now
I haven't said that you mentioned about Kyrie possing me
back earlier than next.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
What are they saying, he's a he's a.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
He's ahead of schedule? They say, they say Tatum, Jason Tatum?
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Is that heard? I thought, Boston, I mean Boston that
just don't tell him.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
No, Boston would be silly to tell him. Yes, we
could be absolutely insane, and even with Kyrie, because it's
a Nina and Achilles me personally, I'm saying, take a
year off. Shout out to victor ola Depot. Finally, after
two years playing with China, playing in preseason against the
(12:36):
Clippers and against San Antonio, he looks back to normal
and a lot of yes, yes, a lot of people
forgot about Victor ola Depot. And you know, with the
Twitter and into that world, you'll always remind it. You
can never forget. And the Internet world reminded me that
Victor Oladipot took Lebron James to a game to a
(12:59):
game seven.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
It's right in the first eighteen right yet vig thrower depot.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
So he is not someone this needs that. So I
hope he comes back. So we got the two storylines.
We said the Dallas he said, Oh, I mentioned Dallas too.
Shout out to the Dallas fans. Uh for you to just,
you know, get an all world Dirk new Whiskey, then
get an all world Luca and then you get an
all world Cooper flag. And I ask you, I'm continuing
(13:27):
to ask all you Dallas fans, if in the next
three years you win a championship, is the Luca trade
worth it? You can keep telling me no, you can
keep telling me no, but if you want to champions
him the next three is it's worth it.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
It's worth it if Luca, if Luca. Even so, my
thinking is like I understood why he did what he did.
It wasn't about how good good Look, it is the
fact that they want to invest in a guy that
they had to pay the himal dollars to a guy
who may may start breaking down his body.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
That think of his body.
Speaker 6 (13:58):
I'm not saying look, me saying that's not saying I
agree with trade anyway. It's me saying I understand the logic.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
That's what I'm saying I understood the business when I
saw it. I understood when I saw it when I
was comparing to the long term concept, and I'm just like, oh, well,
if y'all know y'all getting the number one picked, then
trade to motherfucker. Yeah, just trade.
Speaker 6 (14:18):
And by way, Lakers still gotta win something on that
on the end of the deal also to make it
worth a while. Anyway, So the Dallas that that trade
is still pending right now, So I'm gonna do that,
all right.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
But yeah, no, so I said, I said, I said
the I said, you know obviously that I said in
terms of five, I said, Dallas, Maveris and the New
York Knicks trying to come out the East, you know, Joannie, Okay, Jannie,
it's a big storyline.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
Because number two right for your number two.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
I mean, I am not ranking them. I'm just giving it.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
I'm gonna was gonna go on the list.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Yeah, yeah, we mentioned I mentioned Dallas, I mentioned the Knicks. Okay,
now is played by himself with Evan Turner, not Evan Turner,
I mean Miles turn the mouths not to turn Yeah,
so him and Miles championship with bus God bless So.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Here's the thing with that. But the Bucks thing.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
I think the Bucks now, all of a sudden, have
become a little underrated now because here's the thing.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
We know their teams that because they were a couple
years ago.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
We know that, But they got rid of players that
weren't Damian Lillard in one he's not he's missing all
this year, Chris Middleton was broken down like years ago.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
Okay, all of a sudden with the Eastern Conference being
pretty much.
Speaker 6 (15:35):
To a two team race in Cleveland, New York, is
that an argument that Milwaukee is now probably the team
that can make things very interesting? Now you start a
player who's top three in the league, and you're honest,
there's a lot of unknowns there, but the.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
Path to the finals now is a lot easier.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
Is there argument that Milwaukee is still in that mix
because of the fact they had the best player in
that conference?
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Oh dear, Yeah, you know you want to think like that.
As a Bucks you know you want to think like that.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
But coming there's a Buck coming my Denny here.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
However, yep, instead of Semi Cohlan, I mean, I look
at their team, I see Yanni's I see Miles Turner,
I see Cole Anthony from The Magic coming in. I
see Kyle Kuzman, who's given us us I'm saying, as
the butts, as your fans, what is he? What is
(16:27):
Kyle Kuzman giving you nothing? Okay, then you have thanis
shout out to the other collecting two million guarantees because
my brother's name is got Kevin Porter j You got
a j. Green, you got Gary Turun, you got Gary Harris,
you got Mark Sears, you got Bobby Porters, Ryan Rollins,
(16:47):
Pete Mans. Other than that, this is supposed to be
quote unquote your championship team that's supposed to support Yannis
at Takoupo. What is the starting five for this stinking team?
I'd like to pull up because they've already played, so
I just want to take a look real quick to see, well, okay,
(17:10):
they're starting five. Oh they're not even store Well they
didn't they they're not playing with the Jannis yet. So
I assume you know it's gonna be probably Yannis, Kyle Kuzma.
Let me back up Myles Turner, Jannis, Kyle Kuzma, Kevin
Porter Jr. And Gary Gary Trent Junior. Who's their point guard?
Good question they're supposed to win that championship. Cole Anthony
(17:33):
is not. Even if cole Anthony call Anthony is a
is a two, he's not a one. He doesn't create
like that to be a right, right, So who's your
point guard?
Speaker 6 (17:42):
But you told me, what you're told me now is
that this team right now is the two thousand six
clean Cavaliers that Lebron took the finals.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
I mean what the expectation is. Also the expectation is
you know that Jannis wants to.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Uh uh.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Just because Jannis can average thirty five, fourteen and eighteen
and five blocks doesn't mean he wants to let me
say that again, Let me say that again, let me
say it again. Just because Yannis can give you close
(18:20):
to forty points, yeah, fourteen to fifteen rebounds, fifteen assists,
fourteen assists and five blocks, doesn't mean he wants to
do that every game. He'll he'll bail you out. That's
what he gets to big to get paid the big
bucks for.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
He's like, he wants he wants help. He wants help.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Hell, most need some body like most like most players
in the league want help. So you got that, right,
So you got knicks, you got the you got the Knicks,
you got the Dallas Mavericks, you got Yannis is Is
you know hey, I mentioned okayc in terms of them
getting back. Okay, so I mentioned all that, and I
(19:03):
mentioned I'm gonna mention lastly, Golden State. I'll say five
they you know, got them expectations with Jimmy Butler get
playing the whole season. My I'll just added honorable mention,
if you will. In terms of storylines for the NBA,
looka Doncic, now.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Come that pause. I know I need to tell you.
Speaker 6 (19:23):
Doesn't take coming, Luca, Luca, that's a lot of way though,
Bro looks good, Uh.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
Lucas you probably don't. You see, you probably don't feel
like you have to prove something because you're already proven.
You're one of the best players in the league. You're
already proven that you're one of the best young players
in the league. You're already proven your where's he from
Silu Slovenia? You probably you're already proven. You want to
save your god? You you is you joker? And I
(19:55):
think uh my man from tennis? Uh John yeah that
from tennis? Right? All all Slovenian gods. The Lakers aren't
going to look at you this year like that. You know,
the Lakers gonna look at you as someone who's gonna
(20:17):
have to prove that that trade was worth it, even
what you signed, even what you signing, that contract extension,
all that you're Jordan Brand represented.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
All that.
Speaker 6 (20:31):
Would you say that, Would you say he's on the
most pressure any any star in the league right now?
Speaker 2 (20:35):
I wouldn't say he's under the most pressure because a
lot of players who put him. That's what I gotta think,
because you know you're asking me, uh, and so I'm
off rip. My default is maybe he's not the most.
He's up there not. You know, if I'm thinking about
who has the most in terms of pressure this this year,
he's up there. Uh, pressure for the Milwaukee Bucks to
(20:58):
do something to keep you honest, that's up there in
terms of pressure. The Knicks don't have any pressure. If
you really think about it, people would think, well.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
Because.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
I look at it like this, Okay, if you sit
back and if you sit back and understand what the
Knicks have gone through the last three years, Technically, this
is the first year where they get to play at
full strength.
Speaker 6 (21:28):
So cat first year, last year, Mitchel Robinson. Robinson, Okay, true, okay,
I see you're saying the entire roster, not just the starts.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
Entire roster.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Chemistry means something. When you go try to win a championship,
when you're bringing in pieces in February and March in April,
guys that are hurt and you're making a run, it
shows sometimes.
Speaker 6 (21:50):
So you don't think that wat So you don't think
that this year is finals a bus. I'm not saying championship.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Oh no, no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
See, the expectation is there finals of the finals of
bus bad For the New York Nicks. The expectation is there, sure,
But for me, these guys on their knicks aren't playing
with that type of pressure because they know they haven't
even hit these games. Last year. Once again, I was
(22:18):
excited because I said, they haven't even hit their ceiling yet,
and now they got a bench. I told Randy J.
Crew shout out to my alcohol was Randy J. Cruise
and into the game podcast. I've been telling him for
the last two or three years. I said, you get
the right players, you develop the right players, and then
(22:39):
you get a bench and then we can talk. So
we got your trade with Jailly. You got your trade
with Cat, You got your trade with Michel, you got
your trade with og. You built, you have Mitchell Robinson,
you had Deuce. See the core. See the core right there? Boom,
Now you have the core. Can you get some bench up?
(22:59):
Oh me the dancing bear and play four positions? Okay,
give me Clarkson he played one of the two. Oh okay, okay,
I'll take that. Bring give me land your fields, I
mean Laniel Landry Shammitt. Give me Landry Shammit. We have
a core. Bench four to add to the five. So
(23:22):
you go nine to ten deep talk to.
Speaker 6 (23:23):
Me, But would you wouldn't think that the environment alone
having Boston pretty much out, having Indiana out because the
Star has been out for this season. Okay, the environment
of the Eastern Conference being very easy, it's a two
team race, really that that automacity escalates to the pressure
that to me because to me, I'm sorry, if you're
not getting to the finals this year, you literally fired
(23:46):
Tommy Timbo for this reason, you need to shake up
to me personally. Maybe I'm just being I'm lookier, but
if they're not in the NA finals this year, I
visit the failure because give me Cavaliers good roster.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
Yeah, I agree, but.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
They also every season fall below stations, every single season.
So I don't look at New York and Cleveland. It's
like Cleveland is like this monster, because I think New
York's better than Cleveland. Quite frankly, see this right here,
it's mushroom it.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Yeah, you know which mushroom this is, right?
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Is that Toad?
Speaker 2 (24:20):
This is This is the super Mario mushroom. This is
the green mushroom. And when you get a green mushroom,
you get a one up. Nine times out of ten,
you get a one up. That means an extra life. Okay,
all right, with the injuries nine times out of time
to bring a prop with the injuries surrounding the New
(24:41):
York Micks. In terms of the other teams, excuse me,
in terms of the other teams, You're you're, you're, you're
Philly being injury prone, Boston, Cleveland, even Cleveland being injury prone.
You look at all that those are just those are
all the one ups. Those are just one ups to
add up to the finals. That's all. So when we
get to when you get through the playoffs and you
(25:02):
get to the you know, each round. You just gotta
one up, you know, so you just getting a little
level up because you know you don't have to look
over your shoulder and be like, oh, we don't have
to deal with Jason Tate, we don't have to deal
with an MB, we don't have to deal with the
Paul George. And this is me just thinking out loud
that these guys, based on the history of their career,
will not last.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
But we're out on Philly, right, We already assuming that
Philly is gonna because the injuries, right for assuming that, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
It's Philly, Yeah it's Philly, Philadelphia sixess fans. This is
why I look people ask me, oh, why don't you
have a team. It's so much more fun to make
fun of everyone else and not be guilty because that's
what people do. They'll make fun of other people knowing
that their team sucks, which is crazy to me. Me
(26:01):
and I don't have a team. I love the whole
soap opera in general d NBA, so I can make
fun of each and every team as I see fit
SIXSS fans. I warned you, yep, I warned you about
Paul George, and I warned you about himb going to
play in France. I warned you. I said he shouldn't
(26:24):
be playing in France. He should rest his knee as
much as possible.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
You did say? He said on this show too? Especially
you did?
Speaker 2 (26:32):
You did? I said anywhere that he was allowing me anyway.
Anybody was like, here, Dennis, here, Daddy, talk to me
about this speak do you really want to hear this? Okay, sorry,
Six's fans, but your man shouldn't be going to France
for no for no, for no metal. He should be
(26:54):
home resting that knee, getting you ready for the season.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
And we're here and we're here.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
So when it comes to Sixers, even Atlanta with Kate Christops,
it looks cute on paper, but I know what's gonna
happen because you're gonna get chumps. Shout out to schumps.
You're gonna get schumps saying straight up, oh Philadelphia six
(27:25):
forward Paul George out four to six weeks, Pinky Joel
and beat out undetermined knees.
Speaker 6 (27:36):
Yeah, he say knee, and you might get a Maxie
random Maxie injury to on top of that turn loaded see.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
See to keep the glasses off of this one, because
you know when when what I mean, when I'm serious,
I leave the glasses off. See Tyres Maxie, you're wasting
his prime years.
Speaker 4 (28:02):
Ye seems absolutely, it's about three About.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Three years you're wasting. It's a lot of players in
the NBA, and you know, for different reasons getting their
prime years wasted. Sometimes it's about management. Sometimes it's about
decision making. Where you've gone, Okay, we know what we
know was we already know what's going on with Devin
Bookers at the Sun's. We already know. Hey, he's going
down with the ship. God bless your man's getting paid
(28:29):
like a hundred million a years something that.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
Devine Bullpark.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
He's going down with the ship. I understand, okay, but
you got these other teams. It's like, why are you
even thinking about going down with the ship? Tyres Massey
just signed the deal. Let's see if he resigns.
Speaker 6 (28:50):
Any chance they try to trade him, Let's start fresh. Sagan,
ain't chance they trade him, Try to trade them, get
some assets, back room and go the roster.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
It's a matter of the he's got McCain from the draft.
We don't even know what they all look like.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
He's pretty good for the injury right.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Before the injury. I loved what everything I saw, but
Tarry's MAXI he could potentially be an All Star, but
because he's playing on a one massed team with no support. Yeah,
injuries can't have him because he's carrying the low Hey,
Maxie average forty with no help? Yeah okay, yeah six
(29:27):
is fans God, blast is gonna be a long season?
Speaker 6 (29:30):
Yep, empty calories, Maxie. Unfortunately, what did you make of
the Lebron second decision? Little thing that ended up being
not a retirement? But does him for what Hennessey people
people in the feel of that thing?
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Man, I don't pay attention to off the court shemannigans
unless I haven't an understanding that it's going to be
basketball related. I really don't pay attention to the Shenanigans
because the man's already raretrich. Yeah, so there's no need
(30:08):
for me to be paying attention to anything other than
where he's playing and when he's playing. Other than that,
the ticker came Lebron James signs contract one of the
multi million dollar contract. Oh, Lebron James. Just Simon Hennison,
(30:28):
I don't care, did you did you?
Speaker 6 (30:31):
What do you heard the day before that has announcement.
Did you did you at least consider it? I did
n't mean, because I've been saying my British. One of
your start was that I thought this was.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
His last season.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Clearly not. I don't. I don't. Only the only person
that knows when it's gonna happen is him.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
I'm not going to allow myself to think that when
you're still the top ten player in the league, you
pull the plug. Yeah, I agree with that, when you're
still the top ten player. And then I keep asking
people everyone that will again put the mic in front
of him. I keep asking them like mm hm as
(31:11):
ask him this about Lebron. I say, is Lebron that
good that he's so good for over twenty plus league
or twenty plus years in the NBA? Or is the
NBA that's slow in terms of uh, just players being
as smart and as dedicated as Lebron.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Right, I'm going to.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Say it to be.
Speaker 6 (31:36):
Yeah, i'mbouna lie to you, though I've been talking about
this on the podcast a couple of episodes.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
Now that I think I'm over Lebron now, I think
I'm kind of over it.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Now.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
I'm not saying he's a bad guy on this stuff.
He's number two my opinion.
Speaker 6 (31:48):
I'm just kind of over the whole shitigans and stas
in the pass ver shit. I don't know, maybe maybe
he finally got to me all this time. It took
me twenty years to get.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Here, but we're here.
Speaker 6 (31:56):
I'm kind of over it, Like, Okay, Lebron, we get it,
and you know, he can do what he wants. And
maybe I'm it just annoys me now.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
And I say, the guy who's one of.
Speaker 6 (32:07):
The biggest Lebron defenders in the world, but it got
to me like this this summer, like all right enough,
maybe I don't feel the same way, but I'm just
kind of like.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
And that's the thing, Like think about that you feel
that way, which is interesting. You're not the only one
to obviously feel that way. You got a lot of
a lot of people's like all right, I'm off the
Lebron train. I've seen enough. You're not gonna. I don't
expect you to win any more championships now. I mean
you're playing to be playing. You got a contract. Yeah,
but you know it's not like he's on I don't know, Like, yeah,
(32:43):
we don't expect the Lakers to win a championship this year.
I know that's what they want to present, of.
Speaker 6 (32:48):
Course, but certinly because if Lebron's the top ten player
in the league still and you got Luka on that team,
we would think that that.
Speaker 4 (32:55):
The barama a lot higher.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
But you know, shout out to out of it again,
Randy J. Cruz. I'm always gonna shout out people that
are right. M Dandy Blanco the Breakdown in the Game podcast,
shout out people that are right. I'm also going to
shout out people that are wrong. Okay. When Randy J.
Cruz looked me in the face and told me that
DeAndre and leaving Phoenix to go to to go to
(33:17):
Portland was going to up his gate, I laughed in
his face. Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
You don't see any lower's high awards. Twitch in there.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
Saying one more time, you don't think, you know, you
don't think that could be a low risk higher award.
They're not paying you anything. That's your answer there, because
I agree.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
I agree with that. He's he's he's.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Phrasy, you're phrasing it's beautiful high risk mean, excuse me risk.
I'm not paying ship. I'm laughing because it's low risk,
and I'm like, where is there pending a reward? Has
there been? You got this man in an interview with
(34:06):
the Lakers talking about yeah, this is where it counts.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
He said that I missed that.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
When you finish this is Danny Blanco. Baby, my ears
areto the streets. They called me the NBA whisper for
a reason. In the event you think I'm saying something
that's a lie or fib please after this show, which
I don't take offense to, because we understand. It's the
it's social media, it's everything. People make things up. Granted
I get that, so I am not above approach. I
(34:36):
don't have a problem being wrong. You can google DeAndre
and Lakers press conference saying something to the effect of
right now, you can do that right now, EJ while
we're talking something to the effect of, now I know
it's serious, or now I know this is this is
my last stop.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
This is this is anulging that in fact that he's
a speak out a leader as.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
Soon there now, now you acknowledged that, why don't you
acknowledge Why why don't you acknowledge the fact that you
was at the Phoenix Sons in the finals, and Devin
Booker and Chris Paul looked you in the face and said,
give us more. We're playing against the Joker. Give us something.
And you looked at them and said, I ain't got none. Sorry. Yeah.
(35:22):
Manty Williams asked you to give him something. He said,
now I ain't got it. They ship you to Portland.
Raddy j. Cruse looked at in the face and saying, oh, no,
he's gonna give you like twenty two. Now he's the man.
I said, what motor did you see at the Phoenix
Sons that would think he was gonna give you an
extra five points in some boards a game? What motive
(35:43):
did you see? I saw a man that quit playing
against Joker. He quit? He quit. So once I saw
a quit, what does he quit in a player?
Speaker 4 (35:51):
I said, oh quit? Did they just leave you?
Speaker 2 (35:53):
You stink? Quit leaves? You think players just when they're
in the competition with somebody else and they quit, you
think they don't have any more quit in them. No,
that's that's their method of op around it, and that's
who they are. That's who they are. Once they quit. Once,
they'll quit all the time. It's not like I haven't
watched the NBA for over thirty forty.
Speaker 6 (36:15):
There's gonna be some provision in that contract though, I'm
sure even even the low risk contracts small.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Listen, listen, what even then one point for him? Whatever
case they brought in Alex Lynn that was I knew
that was gonna wasn't gonna work. Alex Linn's stealing money
for the past four or five years just because he's
seven foot. They throw him a million dollars. They realized
they can't play, and they try to ship him within
three months, right, same thing, DeAndre and God blessed. Once
you was in Portland and you said, hey, I can't
(36:39):
make it to the game because it's snowing. He said,
you couldn't.
Speaker 6 (36:47):
He's what twenty nine now? He was like, he's fucking
forty seven, forty eight years of being older.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
I said, you.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Couldn't make it to the game Importland because it was
snow Now you're with the Lakers. Now you think, oh,
this is where it count. You're gonna be in China
after this year. JJ Reddick February book, Market on the Wall,
Like my mom.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
He don't he don't play, right, don't play. He don't
play the.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Market on the wall, Like my mom would say, DeAndre
will either be benched or traded by the February trade deadline.
I don't know if they can trade him, but they're
gonna throw him away for a bag of peanuts because
they're going to get frustrated at the non defense and
then the non offense.
Speaker 6 (37:31):
And that's the thing to also, if you can't go Lebron,
that ships and the ones want to touch you Lebron
or Luca. Yeah, the ones don't want to touch you
at that point.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Lebron or Luca who literally gives you four course meals
to finish? Yeah, like just here, just bib. You have
to put the bib on. You know, I mean to
put the bib on. You got got Google and then
Lebron and Luca.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
Just got Google.
Speaker 6 (37:59):
But guess what you it's the way thing about this
now for him proofs wrong. Pro's wrong. You can turn
the narrator around. You don't expect it though, but wrong.
Speaker 2 (38:11):
When when when when a Slovenian machine goes into your
arena and takes your heart?
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
It doesn't even smile about it.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
It doesn't something against the Sun's sons and Mavericks and
like three years ago.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
Yeah, I'm listen. So you can pull that game up.
You can pull pull up, whether it's Luca, whether it's
when DeAndre was, when DeAndre was in this with the Suns,
either year. When someone can take your heart out you specifically,
when everyone on the team sees it too, that's not
something you just erase. So God bless the Lakers fans,
(38:51):
God bless you. I pray for your patience because you're
going if you need it. When it comes to a
front line, I keep looking around with the West, and
I keep asking myself, See it's quiet as kept who
has the best front line in the East. It's either
got to be the Cleveland Cavaliers or the New York Knicks.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
In order to beat.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
The reigning, defending undisputed champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
I love it, Paul Haymen, good job, man, I love it.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
You. I caught that right.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Hang on rating too much, bro.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
In order to beat that OKC team, mm hmm, you're
gonna have to have a front line, without a doubt.
Your front line is gonna have to be nasty. They're
gonna have to be able to play defense on the
wing in the post and be able to rebound all
three of those things in order to beat Okac, and
(39:53):
I don't. The only teams I see out of the
West with the front line that can come Pete with
that OKAC is Denver. You have Cam Johnson, Aaron Gordon, Joker,
Right Houston, Sat Goon, Adams, Kevin Durant, Dallas Lively, A
(40:25):
d and Cooper Flag. Okay, you need a front line.
You're gonna need a front line. Draymond Green, God bless
you if you think you're going to help Golden State
out our Horford or man Ol Horford, They're not gonna
be able to outrebound Okac or Houston. I didn't even
(40:47):
talk about San Antonio.
Speaker 4 (40:50):
I think they're gonna be. I think they're gonna be.
I think the top sixteen this year.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
I didn't even talk about Super Wemby.
Speaker 4 (40:59):
By the way, I'm gonna I'm taking MVP Adds to
Wemby this year.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
Excuse me.
Speaker 6 (41:03):
I would take the MVP adds Wemby this year because
if they're anywhere near the top five of the West,
which I think they will be top six and the West,
I think there's just shot him win the.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
MVP the year.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
It's no shot if if.
Speaker 4 (41:19):
You know, you know, for voter for t is a thing.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
If s G a voter fatigue is a thing. Winning
kills voter fatigue. If you're still the number one team
in the West, and you're still the one number one
guy on the team.
Speaker 6 (41:34):
Yeah, thenother one sixty six games again, plus games again
this year, and then yeah, then bets are off.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
But Wemby would have to be what the spurs with
Wemby's numbers increase, it would have to be top three.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
Yeah, I agree with that. I agree with that for
that m v P to be like, oh, but he'll
get consideration. If in the top five is four or five.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Its gonna be a conversation. R gonna be a conversation
when it comes to like, Okay, are we really seriously
about to give Wenby the m v P that conversation?
Third in the West. He'd has to be.
Speaker 6 (42:16):
And the NBA is always looking for a new star,
a new a new thing. It's always looking for a
new drug, you know, I mean, I mean, Yokic is great,
but Yoki is not someone that's like out there and
you know, he does the don't thing. And SGA plays
in the market. No one cares about. You know, he's fantastic.
You know, there's always always looking for a new a
new person, and he's he's the next big star on
the cent.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Right now, we have the beauty about the n b A,
which you know, uh, you know, I was talking to
friends about the you know what, you know what what sport?
Are the players bigger than the shield? And obviously he's not.
It's not the NFL, right, but the n b A.
The players are bigger than the shield. And we have
so many different players and so many different markets. And
(42:58):
you're talking about superstar. Yeah, I mean really, honestly, if
they if the viewership now, because the NBA is gonna
be in a lot of different places now, Prime, ABC, ESPN,
it's gonna be in a lot of different places, you're
gonna be able to see a lot. And also to
the international the international concept is coming into it too.
(43:23):
They're bringing a lot of international eyes to it. You're
talking about it's not going to be a matter of
you being a star quote unquote star. If we want
to define what star is, EAJ is it is it.
It's not based on your wins, it's not based on
your it's not based superstar it's not based on your wins.
It's not based on you. It's based on are you
(43:46):
one of the greatest players to play the game? Are
you top twenty five? And chances are do you have
a sneaker deal?
Speaker 4 (43:53):
Yeah, Mark Billy right correct.
Speaker 2 (43:56):
Those are probably the two number one things you can
look at to say, are you a superstars? So if
you go through the top, if you go through the
top ten, check check Steph Curry, m hm. Joker is
the only one because he has no personality. I don't
know if he has a shoe deal, but sure somebody
will correct me. But Joker doesn't have a personality, so
I don't won't be surprised if he doesn't doesn't have
(44:16):
a shoe deal. But Lebron James, Steph Curry, Luca, Jason
Tatum before he got hurt, Yeah, Trey Young, Anthony Edwards.
These are guys that check off all the boxes when
he comes to superstars. So yeah, you can play. Oh SGA.
(44:37):
The list of all of NBA First Team all NBA selections,
they all either they're superstars. They got there, they got there,
they're marketable, and they got their shoe deal, and so superstars.
Now it's gonna be You're gonna see all different types
of superstars and the people Wenby's on his web's on
the rise. You got new players coming up from behind
(44:58):
from the college ranks. You got European stars coming in
that nobody really knows about. That they're trying to make
their make their name. Three or four years ago, nobody know,
Nobody cared about no Franz Wagner. Nobody cared about no
Franz Wagner. Huh do you care about Franz Vagner? Now?
Speaker 6 (45:18):
One of the things that he's out of here? Brother,
And we've been covering this story for the last couple
of years in the show. You and I've been coming
on the show the Diddy story. Now we're i think
two weeks moved from since the conviction and the sentencing.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
Course. If you guys don't know, he's been convicted to.
Speaker 6 (45:34):
Uh four years or two months in prison five hunds
doll fine, he would save credit for time served.
Speaker 4 (45:41):
He was convicted on.
Speaker 6 (45:44):
Accounts of a engaging prostitution and then of course of uh,
it was another one about twenty of the one here
trying to find the it was two counts. Definitely conviction
obviously this case ended up being way small, are in
much much, much less consequential than we thought coming to
whole situation. Now we back's poetic on this on this
(46:07):
podcast about the case. You're the only person I spoke
to about about this case on the show, because you
you were way more informed than multiple I spoke to.
Now that we're here, now we know what's what's the
lay of land now going forward? What are your thoughts now?
Now that's conviction and and sense since the things been
put out, my.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
Thought process is m hm. I the prosecution one at eleven,
the defense wonted no jail time. We got to we
got four years with sed time got to do eighty
five percent. So it's two years to be out a
(46:51):
millionaire or so. So a year and a half, two
years he's home. Okay, what less and have we learned?
We've got? I usually asked that question, they answer myself
and then you can join in too, because I usually
(47:15):
just try to remind myself it's like what you know,
like talked about it, talked about the story for a while,
and I'm from I'm a man of a certain age
that has grown with Sean Combs aka did he ak Puff? Daddy.
So when I ask myself questions, excuse me, what lessons
how we learned? Well, we've learned that a non disclosure
(47:38):
agreement means nothing when there's a crime being committed. Okay,
we've learned that. We've learned that people think that just
because you take and sign, you take a payment, as
in Cassie did and sign a non dios disclosure agreement,
people think that after that it's you can't be called
(48:04):
into a court of law to testify against the person
right on low and behold, yes you can. This is
not a this is not a knock on the justice system. However,
they stretched, they went for a mister fantastic reach with
the RICO three three. There wasn't no, those were the
(48:28):
facts in terms of what the lawyers were saying, in
terms of what everyone on the outside that new law
was saying that that was a reach. So he got
technically he got two years, Sean Colmbs got two years. Four. Well,
he got convicted of the sexual Yeah, sexual transportation across
state lines. I asked myself, so, technically, if Diddy never
(48:53):
left New York and did what he did and people
were in New York, mm hmm, came for the freak offs.
Would he be bringing any laws based on everything that
I'm understanding, the answer would be no. So the only
(49:14):
thing did he did that, the only mistake that did
he made was having them come to him in different states, right,
paying them to come in different states. Because those people
that he paid was like, yeah, I was paid to
do a job, right, I was coerced. I was paid
to do a job. He didn't. He didn't physically assault me,
he didn't threaten me nothing. No, he asked me to
(49:35):
do something. I did it. So we look back on this,
and we look back on the timeline, which is a
man who said he didn't abuse a young girl. Because
a young girl, Cassie, was going to come out with
her own book. He called her bluff. She said, I'm
(49:58):
coming out my own book. She said. She said, look,
I'll take I'll take twenty million. He said no, She
went to suit him. He paid the next day thirty million,
allegedly thirty and.
Speaker 4 (50:13):
Came out next next day. Then I think, no follow right, Okay.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
Then, because again you have to understand, it was the
book conversation, right that it was a book conversation. Then
it was a settlement, then it was Diddy statement, I
did none of those things that Cassie was suggesting, right,
I did none of those things. And then all of
a sudden, CNN said, here draw four, D four. CNN
(50:43):
sa here draw four. We have a tape that Sean
Combs paid to have disappeared, that reappeared. Now he's saying,
I'm disgusted with myself. I don't know who that is.
So we went from there denial to what happened, to
(51:06):
no apology to finally when he's convicted, I'm sorry to Cassie. Yeah,
I don't believe you. Yeah, I don't believe you. This
is the most jail time that Diddy's going to receive,
right when it comes to a multitude of questionable behavior.
(51:32):
And I say questionable because you're going to ask questions
like why why is there a rumor that Diddy paid
someone to have Tupac murdered? Why is that rumor that
that's that's out there? Why is there why is there
not even a rumor? Why do we have information that
suggests that State excuse me, that suggests that States Didny
(51:55):
had Steve Stout beat up because Steve Stout dropped a
video that I didn't even want.
Speaker 7 (52:00):
To be put out right, why do they have suggestions
that did he broke the nose of kimportera.
Speaker 2 (52:12):
We have all these things that are questionable, and he's
never been brought to task, whether it's the Shine shooting,
whether it's Biggie not having enough protection in LA two
years flight. That's the only thing they could get him on.
And once he comes out, he should be a He
(52:34):
should be h I'm trying to find the right words here.
It's a pariah. Pariah.
Speaker 4 (52:44):
He should be excommunicated.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
He should not be even talked about at all. Is
he can be true?
Speaker 4 (52:56):
Is his career done?
Speaker 2 (52:58):
Well? You talk about career he in terms of trying
to decide for what when you say career.
Speaker 4 (53:07):
Right, because it's broader than people get a credit for.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
As a let me take it to step by step.
As an entrepreneur, who would want to go into business
with Diddy at this point nobody, So as an entrepreneur,
maybe his maybe his time is done. Let's put that there, Okay,
But the entrepreneur, it's a tree, right because technically you
you make money, but then you make it's from the music,
(53:31):
and it's from the acting, and it's from the liquor. So,
but if if you're not able to market yourself as
this guy that we can work with, then the liquor
is gone, the acting is gone. The music You're still
going to receive your residuals. You own that. That's great,
(53:53):
that's not going anywhere new music. No, the time is up,
and there's no reset button if he thinks there if
he thinks there is, there's only there's if you think
there's a reset. butN of this magnitude, he does not
(54:17):
have the complexion for the protection. There's only a couple
of people that can reset that I've excuse me, there's
only a couple people that I've seen reset. Robert Downey Jr. Yeah,
Charlie Sheen, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (54:35):
But those guys harm themselves, they're somebody else. It's a
big different.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
Whether you want to say Diddy is a drug addict
harming himself and then harming other people, whether you want
to use somebody may say that bottom mine. They have
to protection this complexion for the protection. Diddy does not.
And and you mentioned that too. The tape.
Speaker 4 (55:02):
Yep to that Castle tape was only need so you
need you just.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
Replay it over and over and over and over and
over again. All those men that was down there supporting Diddy,
all those men supporting supporting that that man daughters, he
has daughters. I guarantee you he would not want what
(55:30):
would happen to Cassie to happen to his daughters.
Speaker 4 (55:33):
Yep. Could you just say, is it say to say that?
Speaker 2 (55:37):
Did he?
Speaker 4 (55:38):
Despite all this is a lucky man because there was
so much smoke around this whole thing.
Speaker 6 (55:45):
We're gonna find out all about the parties and all
this stuff, and all we got was two years, four years,
but really gonna be I mean two years when I'll
sad done.
Speaker 4 (55:56):
He's the luckiest man in the world.
Speaker 2 (55:58):
He had a woman take the stand and say simultaneously
at the same time, I was scared of what would happen,
and I started some rough housing with him. And he's
still paying my bills right now.
Speaker 4 (56:21):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (56:24):
Sean Combs is going to go home to possibly for
a women on standby four four on standby, meaning he
presses the button, they will be there. Yep. One of
them has his child already. Yep.
Speaker 4 (56:43):
Chucked up, man, I.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
Mean, what what what are we learning? There are some
people that will sell their soul for a lifestyle man
or woman. Yeah, what's your soul worth? What's how much
(57:06):
is your soul worth? And then before you go ahead
and ask yourself, oh well, we're free will. It's free will.
It's free will before you go ask you so, before
you go say stating that, yeah, it's free I say
this me, me and my wife talk about this all
the time. It's free will until it's not. It's free
(57:31):
will until it's not. There's a there's a movie Chanting Tatum.
I forget the name of the movie. He's a millionaire,
billionaire owned an island, gets people, gets people on the island,
does bad things people on the island, and people are like,
how did you get to the island? I mentioned islands?
(57:53):
Get funny. Right, Here's here's what's interesting. There's this one
guy that rhyme's with, uh Frankenstein mhm. One guy. Right,
He's able to get young girls onto an island, okay,
(58:15):
with his what money? Right. I've never been on an airplane.
I've never got I've never had somebody give me two
thousand dollars cash. I've never had somebody feed me grapes.
I've never had somebody take me to an island show
me good time. I've never been on I've never been
on an island, and then you have. On the other side,
(58:36):
this same guy's able to tell grown men with their
own money who have no need, no need or want
for anything, Hey, come hang out with me. Yeah, and
guess what the reasoning is behind that, The same reasoning
on the other side.
Speaker 4 (58:53):
True, so true the have and have nots.
Speaker 2 (58:58):
Man, you think you think Bill and Chris Tucker just
are just gonna just get on any person's private plane
to go to an island that doesn't have a bank,
wrong choice, free will. It's like, oh, yeah, yeah, now's
(59:19):
my friend of a friend of a friend's going on
this airplane.
Speaker 4 (59:22):
Yep, I'll go.
Speaker 2 (59:24):
Why not. It's he's taking us to an island, and
you have money, you've been, you've been to islands. But
I'm going because Bill, because Bill Gates gonna be there.
Like I said, he's he He is the luckiest motherfucker
right now. Because everything we saw, I don't either either
A we overplayed their hand.
Speaker 6 (59:44):
Either overplayed their hand, but he said rico or B.
He just got lucky and things just worked out in
his favor. You know, two years he'll be he'll be
out by late twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (59:54):
Well, listen to it's perfect storm. You have the overplay
of the hand, and then you have a fifty million
dollar bank roll. Yeah, how many laws did you have?
Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
J I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:00:10):
I didn't I didn't follow the trial as much as
you did. Four was the o J ship now three
three and the possible OJ because OJA had at least
three or four lead guys? Is up more a dream team?
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
Dude? You think you think I'm gonna you think I'm
gonna jeopardize any extra years or possibly no years if
I if I line my team up with the best,
if I line my defense up.
Speaker 4 (01:00:34):
With the best of the best of the best, true, yep, yep.
Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
Then again, I read from the beginning of the trial
to the end everything that was said. The defense played
a hell of a performance because I always wanted to
know how they're gonna play the Cassie thing. I was like,
how are you gonna play that? What's what's the angle?
Speaker 6 (01:00:58):
Do you think we'll ever find out out more details
that leak out from in terms of the anything, like
things that we thought might have happened, like take the parties.
Speaker 4 (01:01:08):
If it didn't happen now it can happen again.
Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
At this point, his was his was crazy. We assumed
the baby oil, cocaine, the baby oil that didn't happen.
You assumed that he was gonna get wait oh, what
happened to the gun charges? That didn't happen.
Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
So you sit back and you're like, wait, hold on,
they they really stacked it from the top. That's how
it was. And then the next thing, you know, it's like, well,
we can't prove that. Let's move that. We can't prove that.
Let's move that. We really want to prove the sexual
the sexual Yeah, we could prove that. We can't prove
the other stuff, So let's just leave that alone once again, Saga,
(01:01:51):
You're probably right.
Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
I think just the door shut. Any opportunity of again
anybody and all this. I think that's gone. That's gone.
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
No, he goes, he rides off into the sunset, No
one hears from him, and ever again there's no redemption song.
And like I said before, the defense was great. The
defense just said yeah, no, that's yeah, of course, because
you denied it. First, Yeah, you deny that, you denied
you even physically assaulted her. And then the tape came
(01:02:20):
out like.
Speaker 4 (01:02:22):
And that don doesn't come out, man, he may go free. Period.
Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
You doubling back only like one hundred thousand, I think
one hundred and twenty thousand. That tape was worth three
four million, easy, yep, easy. Whoever negotiated that should be
just running into the middle of traffic, please with a
(01:02:48):
blindfold on, please, because that was just yeah, yeah. But again,
if you don't know, if you don't know, if you're
not going to know of who he is at the time,
you're not going to really understand the matter to it
of that. So that tape is there, and that tape
will always be there so he can't wiggle out of
this and the other scenarios. People make mistakes, even your
R Kelly's. If your R Kelly's didn't get your maximum,
(01:03:10):
if he got maybe eleven or eight years, he could
always easily come out. And the old tape is literally
off the internet and no one can really find it.
But other than that, once again, back to my original point,
before we get out of here, free will and then
is it free will? You had girls literally went on
(01:03:31):
and spoke with Gail King about R Kelly and swore
up and down to her face that they loved him,
and then fast forward the lot of Tech. Their test
determined that was a lie. Ye on National TV directly
directly into Gail King's face, and Gail King's face said
it all was like, okay, sure, we believe you.
Speaker 4 (01:03:58):
Yeah, okay, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
It's not it's not. It's not. It's not everything you
it's not everything you crack. It's not everything people think
is cracked up to be big in these people's uh circles,
these circles of the fame, money caused clothes, jewels, drugs.
It's it's it's what people desire. But sometimes when you
get behind that closed curtain, it's not.
Speaker 4 (01:04:24):
What you think you want exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
It's not what you think you want.
Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
I thought I was rich. I want to not do
that world, bro, I mean serious.
Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Don't get me wrong. You can stumble into the world.
It's a matter of what you do when you see it.
You saw Cat Williams. He said it best. He said, Yeah,
I was at a party. I started looking around, so, yeah,
that's not the party. I want to be at her again.
That's it. Made mistake, wrong room, wrong wrong house, Gotta go,
(01:04:58):
that's it.
Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
Yes, Principal's and.
Speaker 2 (01:05:02):
That's another thing too, morals, ethics and values. Who has
them currently? When it comes to dealing with Sean Colmes
in the future, you if you want to, you know,
possibly give him a platform to to to to say
he's sorry when he didn't show any contrition at all.
He's cooked within.
Speaker 4 (01:05:22):
I think he's cooked.
Speaker 6 (01:05:22):
I think he's I think there's a very good chance
you may not ever hear from him again in any
real way. He'll he'll be someone, he'll be, he'll be
he'll be demonized in all this stuff, and he's just done.
Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
But that's again also too, that's again he has no
one to blame, mm hmm, but himself. It's right, he
has no one to blame. A lot and a lot
of the Golden Error, many from the Golden Error. Uh,
it was a wild, wild rest between it. There was
a wild, wild West time between the nineties and the
(01:05:58):
twenty ten's, if he will so, wild wild West, right, Okay,
you got women getting champagne poured on them. Okay, you
got CDs being run over.
Speaker 4 (01:06:07):
Yeah it was.
Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
It was a wild time with hip hop. So a
lot of the people that you see right now, your diddies,
you're Russell Simmons. Yep, there are a couple of names
this like Yo, it's communicado because apparently during the particular
time that morals, ethics, and values were thrown out the
(01:06:30):
window gone, they weren't they weren't part of the equation
when it came to hip hop at all. So, you know,
we have a handful of folks now who are just
not gonna be wanted anymore. They're not wanted at the parties,
They're not gonna be praised. There's only gonna be a
handful that are praised, that should be praised, that have
some morals, ethics, and values, decided to stay with one woman,
(01:06:53):
decided to create one family, or even create two, and
just support those two and keep it pushing. Not this.
I own your body, I do what I want with
your body. And and it's weird, it's weird, weird rich behavior.
Not everybody does it because there's a lot of folks
(01:07:13):
that we know have good you know, rich and have money. Yeah,
and so you don't want to stigmatize everyone that has money.
You'd be like, oh, they're all doing it. No, not
at all. Not everybody's doing this buffoonery. It's a certain
few and the ones that get caught. Let's find them,
Let's put them put put their names up, let everybody
know so we don't run into them again. Please Jesus,
(01:07:35):
please Jesus.
Speaker 6 (01:07:36):
Absolutely all right, Denny, your job. It's always anyone to plug.
Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
Once again, it's the break It's it's actually it's in
the Game podcast. Okay, Wednesdays, check us out. We're in
the evenings. We're going we go live every Wednesday. So

that are coming out usually daily, that I see and

Speaker 4 (01:08:18):
Of great stuff to break down. Every time.
Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
We just thank you, We're just giving you. I'm just
in the Breakdown. I'm just like I did hear asking
myself questions and then answering them as I as I
normally do, and usually sometimes it's the right answer. Usually
sometimes it is the wrong answer. And that's okay because
it's about conversation, it's about content. So absolutely I appreciate
you always inviting me on to share, uh, you know,
(01:08:44):
my ideas and thoughts and and you know, obviously we
sometimes we disagree, sometimes we agree. Mostly we agree because
great minds think alike.
Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
That's right. So you know, the folks on these streets, bro,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
Mind disagreeing on on many things. If if great minds
think a lot, don't mind it us agree with you know,
it's still the same contentive my friend Jared exactly sharing
the same suspective, perspective, but looking at it through a
different vantage point.
Speaker 6 (01:09:08):
So you have you have the greatest intro on those shows.
You know, the head none Blanco, you see it the best, dude,
Don't ever change that.
Speaker 4 (01:09:17):
Okay, don't ever change that.
Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
I'm gonna ride with that because usually that's what I'm doing.
I'm looking at the I'm looking at the title the thing,
and I'm just.
Speaker 4 (01:09:24):
Like, break down, the breakdown, you see it.
Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
That's what I say it, That's what it is. The
Blanco's Bronco. The breakdown.
Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
You see it's phenomenal branding, my friend.
Speaker 2 (01:09:36):
I appreciate that. I'm gonna ride that from your from
your from your right there it is there, it is.
Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
Good job, brother, We have you on the show soon. Brother,
good job.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
Thank you.
