so fast from so many different fandomsthat I couldn't keep up. My mind
was like ber like, I thinkthree different live streams going at the same

except it's Disney Chills. Yeah,Disney came to play and they threw
down the gauntlet. Yes, it'sthe same thing that WB did. The
DC fandom they did that to thissummer. I think it was, Yes,
that was yeah, so they didthe same way that DC did,

that was one fandom. This isall the things. This is all of

announcements of all the Star Wars stuff. We were originally gonna do this episode
along with recapping two episodes of Mando, but we figured that one is going

a lot to talk about. Yeah, So we're just gonna take a break
from the manifesto and we'll be backand we'll discuss the last three episodes.
We're gonna have Lawrence back from ourinitial season premiere episode discussion and it would
great, get lots of cool thingsto say, critiques, enjoyment, etc.

Yes, and instead of waiting twoweeks, since we are a bi
weekly podcast, instead of waiting twoweeks, we'll be releasing our episode actually
on the twenty third, so itwill be a few days after Mando Season
two ends, but we're releasing it, like I said, the twenty third,
and so we have you guys waittwo weeks on the thirtieth, so

Taiko Wait movie. Yeah so excited. He such a great vision. I'm
and you know, he's got thathe can do. He can do serious
moments, but that tongue in cheekcomedy that we've always kind of gotten from
the Star Wars movies, he's justperfect for that. Yes. Um,

they said that he is hard atwork writing it right now. Right now
he is busy filming or beginning tostarting to fil at least thor four.
I believe after that he's going tostart doing uh Star Wars. So it
shouldn't be too long until we startseeing some production coming out of the as.
Yeah, he's got his hands ona lot of cook right now.
Because he's also good. He's gota television show right now called Reservation Boys,

um, which let's fantastic thing tocheck out. Doesn't he also do
that? We are the Shadows NoShadows? Oh, no, yes,
what we do in the Shadows that'sthe one. Yep. And that's also
God. I love that show.It's so ridiculously funny. I started watching
it. It's so stupid, it'sso funny, funny. I love it

so much. So Yeah, he'she's gotta be exhausted. He's just gonna

to uh see this movie. Um. No casting announcements are happening obviously,
no story announcements, nothing like that. Um. We know that he is

writing it, uh and directing it, and that I believe they said it's
a twenty twenty two release. Ithink it's between twenty five. They're looking
at twenty twenty five or twenty twentyseven for that one. Yep. Oh,
I think no different one that's comingout in twenty twenty two. Never

mind, excuse me. I knowwhat you're thinking of, yeah, which
is yes. But I'm excited tosee if he will bring in his usual
cast of crazy, amazing comedians andwhatnot, because it would be I can
just see them as some interesting aliensor some funny droids, you know,

like I can hear their voices alreadyand how well. I want to know
what error he's going to be tackling. Yeah, that would be interesting.
I could see him doing sequel era. I want to see him do like
something of the one, like theold slash High Republic era. Yeah,
I think they. I almost feellike they're going to go darker with that.

Then he'll probably bring us two.I don't know, that's my prediction.
All right, you say Old Republic, I say, Sigel, and
we'll and we'll be both wrong,and we'll be somewhere in the middle,

be a different era that we haven'teven seen yet about that. It'll just
be rebels, that's all it'll be. Yeah. Um. And then the
second movie, which I screamed withjoy with myself. I am so excited
about every aspect of this. It'snot only because of the content of the
movie, but the fact that we'regetting our first female director for a movie

for Star Wars. Yes, uhso, so tell the folks what's going
to happen. We are getting arogue Squadron movie. Yeah, oh my
god. Yeah, so excited.We've you know, just gone on and
on and on about Rogue Squadron manytimes in the past because we had such
a great experience playing this game seriesas kids, and it is being helmed

by Patty Jenkins of the Wonder Womanseries. It's really interesting because so she,
Patty Jenkins, was actually in theAir Force and ever since then she
has always wanted to create like anamazing fighter pilot movie, but never found
the right story. This is herstory. Oh, this is her fighter

pilot story. It's gonna be it'sgonna be amazing. I'm really excited about
this. I am so happy.Yeah, it's called Rogue Squadron. Now,
the Rogue Squadron we know has likeyou know, Wedge, Luke and
all these characters, but fans aresurmising that it might be post right as
a Skywalker. Oh interesting, Soa new Rogue Squadron, new Roke Squadron,

possibly with old Wedge still because wesaw him came and raise a Skywalker
which great. Um, yeah,because he didn't he didn't die, he
was still alive. That could becool. You know, have Wedged teaching
a new generation of elite pilots sortof thing. And what's really cool is

that you know, and most ofthe Star Wars movies would a really cool
kind of space battle or some kindof fighter battle. This whole movie is
going to be like a fighter battlebasically. Yeah, that's gonna be great.
It's gonna be like Rogue one,but it's just battles, but space

as many times in the podcast before, um who we want to see uh
you know screen or not screen?Excuse me? Um uh score a new
Star Wars movie. And she's currentlyworking with Hans Zimmer right now for The

happy. Um hell, I wantto give give me a really cool,
like, uh female pilot that's themain character too. I assume that is

of his stuff, but it's stillvery up in the air, so we'll
see. Recently though, on Twitter, I think it was a few days
ago that it was the third anniversaryof last year that came out and the
outpouring of people who have I thinkkind of come to love this movie now

before you know, before they hatedit, but now I think they have
a new found appreciation of it.Um is really cool to see. I
I don't think it's a bad movieby itself. I think Ryan Johnson is
a great director. Um, Ijust don't. I don't think it fits.

I don't think the story was right. See I liked it. I
didn't. I don't. I'm notsaying I didn't like I don't think.
I just I don't like the waythey handled Luke. That's it. That's
my biggest gripe. And to knowthat Mark Hamill did like it either,

whole trilogy. But yeah, doesn'tmean, I don't like them. I

whatever he wants, I think hecould do something really interesting in the

start with the obvious one, whichwould be that we have gotten confirmation of
a third season for The Manoiren,Yes, which premiers next Christmas. Yeah,

whole year because the past season twoand season one from here in October.
This is now Christmas. There betterbe more episodes. I don't know if
it's they're waiting because of COVID.I don't know if they're doing more,
like, you know, technology wise, I'm not quite sure, but I

don't know. It does kind ofsuck, and it also kind of sucks
for us too, because how arewe going to take our winter our winter
break? Right, We'll have towe'll have to reconfigure that. Yeah,
that's gonna be a tricky one tomaneuver. But we might take a spring

We can probably do a spring break, although there's so much coming out

of the spinoffs that are coming correctdown the pipeline. So it's no surprise

that we're getting a season three.It's no surprise that we're getting a season
three with this current storyline. Asyou know, we'd hitting we know it's
not gonna get wrapped up in himin one episode. Oh no, no,
no no, so yeah, sokind of let's stem from that.
So for the spinoffs, we haveobviously Asoka, which I was so happy

they confirmed that. Yeah, sothat's gonna be great. So we're gonna
be continuing Soca's journey um to searchfor Thrown, you know, hopefully hoping
we'll probably get some rebels, figurespopping upon. You have so much live
up to. Don't fuck this upso much. Do not fuck this up
because yeah, exact people, Solet's not suck this up. Um.

So, really looking forward to thatbecause you know, this will focus more
on on the Jedi and and Forceusers, and Thrown is my favorite villain
of almost any fandom ever, soit'll be amazing to see him live action.

now is saying Benedict Cumberbatch. Yeah, I've seen, I've seen fan art.

Nicholson, but we've already got himand everything exactly. We can't have him

So I think it's good. It'sgoing to be like, it's gonna be
like Chuck Norris, Texas Ranger inSpace. That is what I envised us

showed a few of like a littlevisual thing when they were doing the presentation.
This was out of left field.I'd not expect to see this.
Yeah, that's great. No onereally predicted this one. They predicted an

the market there, but they bringin more viewership and they're more you know,

similar. So that's gonna be umreally nice. Because this one's gonna be
a Lucasfilm UM Animation and visual Effectsteam, so it'll be like the Industrial

Light and Magic um HM teaming upto this one. So it's great.
It's always great to see them onboard. This looks like it'll be pretty
lighthearted and cute. It's definitely forthe kid I would say. Yeah,
So this one is billed as itwill be an epic journey that will introduce
us to a new hero guided bythe legendary duo or two D two and

C three po, so it shouldbe which, of course that means that
Anthon Daniels is coming back as uhC three P pretty cute. Yeah.
Um, I'm thinking this will belike a Droid Tales, like the New
Droid Tales. Like was that onefrom the eighties? Right? Yeah?

Yes, eighties, early nineties somethinglike that. No, I feel like
it was like the early eighties.Let me see, Oh was it that

is this is post Order sixty six, correct, It takes place it looks
like during Revenge of the Sixth andright after. Um, that's some that's
some heavy stuff. Yes. Andso it's also in the same animation style
as the last season of Clone Wars, which you and I both loved.

Bradley Breaker obviously is coming back tovoice every single Clone in existence. Yes,
and then we also have ming NoahWin is confirmed she's coming back as

So it's it's cool to see thatbecause when I was watching the trailer,
I was like, oh, isthat Phinnic? And I see the helmet,
I'm like, that's fucking Finic.I love it. Migo Win has
