Todd Wharton (A native New Yorker), has worked in a variety of positions where he has brushed elbows with up and coming artists and burgeoning superstars alike. Global Talent Connect was originally established by Todd Wharton as "LocalTalentNY", September 21, 2012 (his mother's birthday). Then, in December, 2012, as a start-up icon, Wharton changed the name to LTC (Local Talent Connect), due to overwhelming response that this is not just about the artists of NYC, it's about the artists of the world! Since then, the company's membership has greatly expanded and has produced many of NYC’s premiere events.
On June 18, 2020, the company was re-branded with its more appropriate name: Global Talent Connect. The official GTC Network was launched January, 2013, *GTC is the 1st true global social network in existence for the ENTIRE Arts & Entertainment Industry. Consequently, Todd Wharton is positioned as a future Leader in the Arts & Entertainment Industry.
