Speaker 1 (00:18):
Hey, everybody, welcome to today's show. Welcome to Equality and
Writes for Role. I'm your host Anthony Larbrita Duke, and
we have a very interesting topic for today's show, in
which it is that Republican lawmakers are working hard to
(00:39):
force the United States Supreme Court to overturn the same
sex marriage. So let's get right into this just to
let everybody know even if, and even if or when
(01:00):
it's more likely when, because more likely they're going to
do it. Anyhow, does the United States Supreme Court overturns
same sex marriages. It's kind of like what they did
with Robie Wade and to overturn a woman's right to choose,
(01:25):
you know, and also abortions and stuff, just like when
the Supreme Court went even though just like even when
the United States Supreme Court overturned that, it basically went
back to each individual state, meaning the Democratic states can
(01:46):
still allow abortions to happen, but the Republican states do
not allow it. So it would be the same thing
if the United States Supreme Court. Oh again, correction, I
have to correct myself. Even when the United States Supreme
(02:09):
Court overturns same sex marriages, it's going to be the
same thing. It's going to go back to the states
in which the Democratic states are going to allow same
sex marriages but Republican states are not are not going
to allow it. So again, even when the United States
(02:35):
Supreme Court overturns same sex marriages, Democratic states will allow
same sex marriages, but Republican states will not allow same
sex marriages. That's what's gonna happen, Okay, And so here's
(03:02):
my suggestion. Two LGBT people out there who want same
sex marriage but who live in a Republican state, move
to a Democratic state. Move to a Democratic state. I
(03:27):
know it may be easier said than done, you know,
but basically that's what it comes down to. You know,
you can you can still remain in your state and
keep fighting, you know, for your state to have same
(03:48):
sex marriage. Uh put back in to be allowed or
whatever auh or do if you live in a Republican
state and you want to, you know, hopefully you see
will turn blue and then you can get same sex
marriage in your state. But otherwise just move to a
(04:15):
Democratic state or just uh don't get married if you
if your marriage is not going to be accepted in
your state and you don't want to keep fighting for it,
or or if you just want to if you don't
(04:37):
want to move to a democratic state or or whatever.
Just the only thing left is just don't get married.
I hate to say, but there's no other choice. There's
very little choices. Yeah, you only have three choices. Stay
in your state that does not accept same sex marriages,
(04:59):
or moved to a democratic state. That's it. And then
you can get married in in the democratic state that
you would move to. That's it. It's there's only two
choices here, really seriously. So and again my suggestion just
(05:27):
moved to a democratic state. So but anyways, you know
this is kind of a sad topic in a way,
but you know, this is the reality. This is the reality,
(05:54):
and it's just best to move to a democratic state
so your marriage will be accepted, you know. But anyways,
I want to remind all my fans out there about
my website, Advocate Information Highway to link to. There is
aih ny dot com. Again, that is ai h ny

of my website, you will see two links on there,
in which one of those links is to my Internet
