Speaker 1 (00:16):
Everybody, Welcome to today's show. Welcome to Equality and Writes
for Role. I'm your host, Anthony L. Rito Duke, and
we have a very important topic for today's show, in
which it is the United States House of Representatives have
passed their version of Trump's Big Beautiful Bill, in which

(00:44):
if it fully passes like the uh the United States,
the United States Senate and then goes to Trump's desk
for his signature and the bill. If this bill was
becoming to law, then this bill would kick off so
many people from health care coverage and food stamps. And

(01:10):
you know that affects people in every single state, not
just the Democratic States, every single states, including Republican states. Okay,
and you're talking about whole families that won't that won't

(01:34):
be able to eat. That so many people won't be
able to feed their kids, and elderly people won't even
be able to eat. Really, and then with kicking people
off healthcare coverage, you know, it's almost like telling I

(02:00):
want to call Grandma and Grandpa, Hey, you're just gonna
You're just gonna end up dying. Then that's it, and
you're gonna lose your health coverage and everything. You know, again,
This isn't just the Democratic States. This is throughout every
stage throughout the United States, including Republican states. Okay, and

(02:29):
we just with the part of with the healthcare coverage part.
For all those people, they are going to be kicked
off healthcare coverage. The that's gonna affect like hospitals and uh,
doctors offices and stuff. Because you know, if a person

(02:54):
who does not have any healthcare coverage gets sick or
entered or whatever, they go to the hospital. If there's
no coverage that hospital, you know, who's going to flip
the bill. Who's going to flip the bill? You know,
the Republicans, I'm not thinking about this. They just want

(03:15):
to push this quote unquote big beautiful bill through, you know.
And if the hospitals and doctors have to flip the bills,
then you know what, that's going to increase the cost
of health uh of health care in the hospitals and

(03:35):
doctors' offices. They're gonna have to raise their prices and everything. So,
like I said, this bill was passed in the United
States House of Representatives. And let me tell you something,

(03:56):
ladies and gentlemen, it did not pass by a big margin.
It passed two hundred and fifteen to two hundred and
fourteen seriously, And now that bill is headed towards the
United States Senate. It goes towards the United States Senate

(04:20):
for them to make any changes that they may want
to do, or they can pass like certain parts of
the bill that they may agree with, you know, but
there's also it could be other parts that they don't
agree with and they may amend and then that porcement
of the bills go back to the United States House
of Representatives and stuff, and you could take a very

(04:43):
very long time for this to get fully passed into law,
you know, but you've got to do it right. And Okay,
other certain parts that they have bipartisan support may may
pass through, but that bill as a whole may not

(05:04):
pass through because there's going to be certain parts of
that maybe the Senators are going to disagree with, you know.
So with that being said, you know, senators, you got

(05:28):
to do it the right way. You know, there are
elections coming up this year in many cities and states
and stuff, and they also have to realize next year
in twenty twenty six, all the United States have to

(05:50):
representatives and the whole entire United States Senate. All the
seats are up for elections next year in midterms, all
the seats are up for grabs. So you know, you're thinking, oh,

(06:10):
I could pass this down to the next year. Everybody's
gonna forget about it. No no, no, no, no, no, no,
that's not the way it works. No, no, no, no, honestly, So,
but anyways, I really hope the United States Senate fixes

(06:35):
the part to where for the healthcare coverage and the
food stamps. For the healthcare coverage and the food stamps,
that part has to be fixed. It cannot be though.
Those two parts cannot be touched. Do not touch healthcare

(06:58):
coverage and food stamps. Seriously, don't go to hurt people.
So but anyways, and like I said, this is the
part of advocacy where we're trying to talk to the

(07:22):
elected officials in Congress and to help protect health care
coverage and food stamps and stuff like that. You know,
you can have bipartisan support on all the other parts
and whatever, but these two parts, the health care coverage

(07:47):
and the food stamps, you can't go around hurting people. No,
he can't do it. So but anyways, I wanted to
remind all my fans out there about my website Advocate
Information Highway. The link to there is aih ny dot com. Again,

(08:10):
