Speaker 1 (00:16):
Everybody, Welcome to today's show. Welcome to Equality and Rights
for All. I'm your host, Anthony Larrito Duke, and we
have a very interesting topic for today's show, in which
it is parades and protests. So let's get right into this.
You know, especially yesterday, which was a very big day,
(00:42):
there were a lot of protests going on throughout the country,
and you know, most of the protest was the no
Kings protests and stuff, and you know, it was again,
(01:04):
it was throughout the country pretty much without every state
or every city throughout the country, and even in Washington,
d C. And you know, and in many of those areas,
these protesters we're blocking traffic. Now, many of you know,
(01:31):
I'm completely against blocking traffic. I'm completely against it. I'm
all for people walking along the sidewalks are doing their
protest along sidewalks and stuff. But in a lot of areas,
(01:52):
in a lot of states and stuff, people are blocking traffic.
And that's why in the state of Florida, Governor DeSantis
gave permissions for drivers to run over and ram through
and possibly even kill protesters that are blocking streets. So, yeah,
(02:24):
this is not going to end well, this is not
going to end well, and like I said, you know,
you know, I do not want to see anybody get
hurt or killed at all. But on the flip side
of the coin, people cannot be blocking traffic. So if
(02:47):
you want to do your protests, and people have to
write to protests, you got to do it the legal
right way in which you got to have your permits.
You got to work with the local law enforcement to
h to say to them, this is the route we
want to take and be along the sidewalks, and when
(03:10):
it comes outing to cross the streets, have police there
to help you move your rearants fast. Okay, that's another thing.
You got to move fast and crossing the street and
keep your protest moving, keep it moving seriously so that
(03:39):
way you don't block sidewalks. You can walk along the
sidewalks and keep moving and move fast, move slowest turtles
and everything. Keep it moving and move fast because all
(04:01):
the people who could be on who'll be in wheelchairs
and stuff like that, need to use the sidewalk. So
keep it moving, you know. And it's like bells should
(04:22):
be going off in people's heads and say, hey, you know,
we got to keep this moving. Can't just stand there
and be blocking traffic and blocking sidewalks. Bells need to
be going off in their heads, you know, and just
(04:53):
do it the right way. You still get your point
across from what you want to do, and stuff like that.
And but keep it moving and don't block sidewalks, don't block,
don't block streets, keep it moving, and work with the
local police departments to help you guys cross the streets
(05:13):
quickly and stuff like that. So and here's the other thing. Yesterday,
throughout these protests weather in many states, including Washington, d C.
(05:40):
The weather was discussed and horrible pouring rain, thunder lightning,
you know, and the weather was bad. But after you know,
(06:02):
the people did their protest, there was that military parade
in Washington, d C. For the two hundred and fiftieth
anniversary of the United States Army. And you know, to
(06:25):
all the men and women who served in the Army
in this great country, we thank you for your services. Seriously.
They put their lives on the line every day for us.
But also at the same time, it was also Trump's birthday,
and he really wanted that parade for his birthday. Let's
(06:48):
just call it what it is. Let's just keep things
one hundred. He doesn't really give a damn about our
men and women in the military. He never did. He
wanted it for his birthday, his seventy ninth birthday. So
(07:08):
even though he may be covering his rearentitaying oh, no,
I wanted it for our military, for the for the army,
No he didn't. It's a bunch of malarkey. He wanted
it for his birthday. That's what he really wanted it for,
(07:29):
you know, because this man doesn't give a damn about
anybody but himself. Seriously, if he really cared about our
men and women in the military, he wouldn't be cutting
funding to the va IT. Lets not forget the time
(07:50):
when he called uh the people m I A or
and uh veterans who lost their lives. Remember when he
called them suckers and losers. So he can be us
(08:11):
all that he wants and saying that, oh, it's for
the military, it's for the military, bologney. He wanted it
for his birthday. But let's get to the other part
of this Today's show, the other top of the Today Show,
the other part of parades and many states, in many
(08:35):
cities throughout the country, they were the pride parades. You know,
and that's gonna happen in many, in many times for
the rest of this month, because it's Pride month, and
I think it's great. I think it's wonderful. I love
seeing the Pride parades and well more watching them on
(08:58):
TV because I love to see the good things that
happened in life. The good things. The priparies are great things.
It's happy times. People are enjoying themselves, you know, so,
because there's enough negativity going on in life already as
(09:23):
it is. So when I see good things like these
priparates happen, and people loving each other and having a
great time and smiling and laughing, and it's so good
to watch that, you know. And me being in one
(09:45):
of the people for many years that have been fighting
for equality I marriage equality and LVPT rights and stuff
like that, it's so good to see these parades. I
love it when I see these Pride parades, I love it.
And so it's all, uh, my lgbteam brothers and sisters
(10:14):
out there, we love you guys, and yes, we still
have a lot, a lot more to keep fighting for.
Yes we do. I'm not gonna lie. I'm keeping I'm
keeping things one hundred but we love you guys, and
we're gonna keep doing the rightful fight, illegal fight and
(10:35):
stuff like that and until we get things done correctly.
And so with that, I want to remind all my
fans out there about my website, Advocate Information Highway. The
link to there is ai h ny dot com. Again,
that's ai h ny dot com. You guys could check
(10:55):

more pages so far in which you'll see a specific
page for my internet store on zassa dot com and
