Speaker 1 (00:15):
Hey, everybody, welcome to today's show. Welcome to Equality and
Rights for a role. I'm your host Anthony la Rito Duke,
and we have a very interesting topic for today's show
in which it is the work for ICE agents. Right,
So let's get right into this. This is going to
be the two sided thing. I'm basically playing Devil's advocate
(00:39):
here because there's two sides to this. One side of
the coin. I've said to some prior episodes, ICE agents
the systems, the rules, and what they're being told to do.
I'm not right. Things need to be changed within their systems,
(01:04):
meaning leave the ones alone, leave the immigrants alone that
are doing the right thing, leave them alone. Go after
the ones that are not doing the right things. Okay,
the ones that I'm not doing the right things. And
(01:26):
government really needs to help the immigration courts. They're really
backed up. Their files are backed up, the case thoads
are backed up for who knows how long. They need
to ease things up on the immigration court so that
(01:48):
that way they can make things easier for immigrants to
become the United States citizens. That's number one. Now, let's
look at the other side of the coin. With all
the technology that ICE has in their systems. Let's use them.
(02:13):
Let's use ICE to help find missing children seriously, honestly,
help find missing children that I'd be gone for too long, Seriously,
(02:35):
help find missing people in general that I've been missing
for so long. We can use ICE and their systems
with their technology for many good things. That's what we
(02:56):
need to do. That's what we need to do. So
it's not really about getting rid of ICE's ICE agents.
Then they're being told and ordered to do the wrong things. Seriously,
(03:18):
the systems I'm not set up correctly. Again, that means
leave the immigrants alone that are doing the right thing,
that they've been making their court appearances, that they've been
doing everything that they've been told to do. Leave the
(03:39):
good ones alone, go after the ones that I'm not
doing the right thing seriously, And the systems have to
be made better, meaning there has to be proper communication
between ICE systems and the courts and let the officials
(04:01):
need to make these rules correctly and make this ICE
systems done correctly. That's what needs to be done. So
it's to stop the nonsense of going after the wrong people.
Stop going after the ones that are going to their
(04:22):
ort hearings. Stop going after them. They're doing the right things,
so leave them alone, honestly. But anyways, I want to
