Speaker 1 (00:16):
Everybody, Welcome to today's show. Welcome to Equality and Rights
for All. I'm your host Anthony L. Rido Duke, and
we have after two very important topics for today's show.
One is, well, the first one is New York State
Governor Hakell did a great thing by rejecting the Mayor

(00:41):
elect ma'am Donnie's proposal to tax the rich and make
all New York City buses free. And the second topic
is New York State Governor hackle is considering raising corporate axes.
So let's get right into the first one. Uh, New

(01:06):
York State Governor Hockele did a great did a great
job and squashing Mayor elect ma'am Donnie's proposal to tax
the rich and make all New York City buses free.
She squashed that. Governor Hockles squashed those two ideas, and

(01:34):
that's great because these two things would really really hurt
New York City. They really, they really would have. So
she squashed those two ideas, so he cannot do that.
Mayor elect ma'am Donnie cannot do that. So at least

(01:59):
she did, now, which kind of ties this kind of
ties into the second topic for today's show. In which
New York State Governor Hakel is considering, just considering. There's
nothing written in stone yet. She's considering raising corporate taxes,

(02:22):
So I mean, she's just considering it. Like I said,
there's nothing definite yet or anything. She's considering it because
of the fact that with all the putts that the

(02:46):
federal government has done to New York, New York needs money.
So she's considering raising corporate taxes by much, not by much,
actually very little, but to my understanding, and I could

(03:11):
be romos, don't hold me to this, maybe like two
percent or something like that. Very small in other words,
very very small, you know. But it's to help New York.
Is to really help New York because of all the

(03:32):
cuts that the federal government, the Republican controlled federal government,
with all the cuts that they did to New York,
and so to make up the difference, or to at
least help New York, New York State Governor Hakel is

(03:53):
considering raising corporate taxes. Now corporate tax you know, corporations.
These are the filthy rich people who they can afford.
Actually to have us just a small corporate tax in Greece, seriously,

(04:20):
because the Republicans in Congress. The federal government gave huge, huge,
huge tax breaks to the filthy rich, major corporations. So

(04:40):
and states rely on these taxes. But the federal government,
the Republican controlled federal government, gave huge tax breaks to
the filthy rich, the big major corporations, but they gutted,

(05:08):
the Republican controlled the federal government gutted, gutted major programs
for poor people, elderly and disabled. So for states to

(05:29):
make up this difference, you know, they got to raise
things like corporate taxes just a little tiny bit, you know,
fancy rich people they want they're thinking, is, oh, how
dare you tax me more? But even though they could
afford it, and it's to help the states and poor

(05:55):
people and stuff like that, and just you know, and
a small, a small corporate tax increase, small, nothing big,

(06:19):
but I mean really unbelievable, unbelievable. But anyways, I mean,
like I said, New York State Governor Hockel is considering it.
There's nothing written in stone or anything like that, so

(06:40):
we got to just wait and see what happens. But
this is really because of the Republican control federal government
in Washington, d C. With the huge budding at the
the cuts that they did to major programs for poor people,

(07:07):
for elderly and disabled people. I mean, I don't know
what else to say. I'm at a loss for words.
But anyways, we just got to wait to see what happens,
and you know, whatever the decision is, of course I

(07:28):
will be discussing it here on my shows and I
will be informing everybody. But so with that, I want
to remind all my fans out there about my website,
Advocate Information Highway. The link to their is aih ny
dot com. Again, that's aih ny dot com. You guys
could check out all the pages on there and sew

(07:48):
if that, Take care everybody, Bye,
