En este episodio vamos a hablar sobre el libro Triunfa con tu ebook; cómo escribir, publicar y vender tu libro con éxito de la autora Ana Nieto.
Pues bien, de vuelta de vacaciones y con las pilas cargadas voy a compartir en este episodio número 77 los conocimientos e ideas principales que adquirí al leer este libro de Ana Nieto.
Es un libro en principio orientado a la narrativa de no ficción, normalmente ensayo, pero un libro de donde podemos obtener buenas ideas también para la realización de nuestra novela.
Conceptos que destacar del libro:
•Nos interesa tener una página de autor, que viene a ser la tarjeta de presentación en la que el lector puede conocer nuestra biografía, ver imágenes, vídeos, reseñas y otras publicaciones nuestras.

•Todos tenemos un «libro dentro de nosotros», una historia que contar y la única diferencia que existe entre la persona que lo hace y la que no es simplemente esa, la acción en sí misma de hacerlo. No hacen falta conocimientos excepcionales ya que todo en este sector se puede aprender.

•Lo primero que debemos definir bien es cuál es nuestro lector objetivo. Debemos saber que tipo de lector es el que va a leer nuestra novela. He escuchado a muchos autores que esto no es importante y que los autores deben escribir libremente. Eso es cierto, pero debemos entonces diferenciar entre el escritor que lo hace por hobby y el que lo hace como vocación y negocio. No es ni mejor ni peor una u otra opción, pero este libro está orientado en conseguir que tu libro sea best seller.

•Ana nos dice que es fundamental que la temática que elijamos cumpla a su vez dos condiciones: que haya demanda de lectores y que no haya excesiva competencia, es decir, que no haya cientos de libros publicados sobre ese tema. Aplicado a la novela es complicado adaptar este consejo porque al fin y al cabo cada novela de ficción es un mundo incluso aunque este dentro de un género con miles de libros.

•Pasos para escribir libros.
oComprométete y fija un plazo.
oInvestiga y ordena la información, preferiblemente antes de empezar a escribir.
oEstructura por capítulos.
oDragon Naturally Speaking.

•Es mejor que publiques trilogías y no un libro enorme. Si es posible partir tu historia en 3 hazlo.

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
