Speaker 1 (00:00):
Way Shan an amazing day, especially tiptoe on the sideline
that was that was awesome. But how good did it
feel to get last week passed ups and you guys
have an offensive explosion today?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
I mean it felt great. Uh.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Going into that Monday after we took that loss, we
was like, okay, like we got to get past that
throw off shoulder. So when we went to practice Tuesday,
we was just like our mindset against Western Jaima, So
we're gonna go out there a ball out and like
get our advantage. So we came out here today it
was like, okay, like we've been talking all this stuff,
let's be about it. So when we came out here
was being about it.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Hey number one, Bill Riley and Scott Mitchell upstairs, how
you doing, way Shank?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Oh? Oh my bad? Said that again for.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
You, I said, number one, how are you doing?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Oh? I'm doing very grant, I'm doing very great.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
I mean, got some bumps and bruises, but that's what
the uh, that's what costs with the football.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Walk us through the touchdown, because that was pretty impressive,
both you and Devin, But keeping your feet in bounced,
did you know you were in?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
I mean Yeah, I felt like I got to push
out of balances, but I try to keep my balance,
So as soon as he threw the ball up in
the air, I just looked at it and caught it
and rolled my shoulder.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Wait, Sean, you talk about kind of moving on to
West Virginia. What was the what was the game plan?
What was the strategy going into today's game.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
I mean, our strategy was just to come out and
play ball like we always do, like everybody takes to
Wallston College. So we ended up taking our watch right
in early, so we come out the next week ball out.
So our game plan would just really do the things
that we came out and really do and just like
throw that off our shoulders. So we get out here,
come out here, get it dub. So now we go
on to the next week. Next week we gotta buy,
so we go onto Arizona State.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
You can fix up those bumps and bruises before the
sun devils come in. It really felt like you guys
early were trying to establish the run and play some
bully ball up front. Was that the plan coming in?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yes, of course, that was the plan to get both
me and knock the ball. So when we came in.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
We was like, Okay, let's let's see what our run
game can do right now. Like I had an injury shoulder,
so and bounce back in the second half.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
But Knock was doing a great thing.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
He was doing a great thing, getting them yours busting
out and like just showing what West Virginia what we're
really about and showing everybody else.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Uh his first time Utah has been to West Virginia. Uh,
what what was your experience like today? How how challenging
was it to come across the country like this and
and play kind of implement weather a little bit?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
What? What?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
What? What?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
What's your take on all that?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I mean, yeah, everybody is everybody first time coming out here.
At least for me, it was my first time.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
It was just a little different environment. So when we
come out here and we were just like, okay, like
let's just play ball. Our focus is ammonia on the football.
But knowing the weather was gonna be a big key,
we just practiced with wedding the ball at practice right
before we really go out and play, So we just
wet the ball, hand the ball off, through the ball.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I mean, we had a couple.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Missthrows I know Devon damp Here threw a pick, but
he bounds back just like we did.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I gotta ask you before I let you go. You
and you and uh uh Nakari get a lot of
the touches and a lot of the carries when you're
when you're done for the day, and you see guys
like Bryce Duke and Daniel brag get a chance to
play and have some success. What's that mean to you?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
I mean, it just it feels great because it just
shows us that we did our job to let our
younger brothers, our older brothers to get on that field
and do their thing. So when they get on that field,
we just tossed the helmet to the side and share
on our brothers so they can feel love.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
All right.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Number one, go heal that shoulder up and get ready
for next week again or two weeks against Arizona State.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Thank you, yes, sir, thank you way.

Speaker 3 (03:15):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
