(07:34):
Chris Sharp and again if you havenot seen him, he's absolutely one that
most awesome individual that I've ever metin my life. He can play all

And he looks a little little littlelittle hi everybody, and he looks a
(09:33):
littlettle bit more American, a littlebit more in there what and we or
dog too wherever that comes from. He's all right looking around like you're talking

(09:56):
love him so uh yeah, fabulous, one hundred percent. You gotta look
him up. Chris Sharp Branson,Missouri. He has a music studio,
he records, He does all kindsof stuff musically and other stuff as well.
Like he is very talented and whenI say very very talented, you
(10:18):

(10:45):
just absolutely just amazing. I wasso what is it? What is
that word? Amazed everything that hecould do and what it sounds like.
And yeah, we even put heput something together as we was like right
there in our first interview ever, not on here, but you know,
(11:09):
in a person Uh yeah, itwas so cool, which hung out and
he's totally chill, laid back. You know, he will never do you
wrong. So he's one of herpersent, somebody you can trust and you
know, but in the palm ofyour hands, because he's gonna take care
of you, just like you know, hopefully you take care of him.
(11:33):
So with no further ado, Iam going to bring this one wonderful time,
amos. That's a US session. What the hell is that? Hey?
What's up? What's up? How'sit going? It's going great?
(11:54):
I mean like it's better hoot thesame here. And it has been a
crazy busy week man, just likealways right, yeah, oh god,
yeah, it's been crazy absolutely. How is like tell us some of your
weight, man. So I've beenplaying down at the Landing, but We've
got rain like every day this week. So I've been in my studio rehearsing
(12:20):
for tour, going with the Codepotmenton tour. So we've been hitting.
We've been hitting like four to eighthour days, like just rehearsing all day.
Yeah. Yeah, and uh sowe wrote a couple of jingles for
Carnells, the bass players going ontour with us. His dad asked us
(12:43):
to write him some jingles to buyhim a bass amplifier. So we've been
yeah, we've been doing that thepast two days and now we got back
to rehearsal. I was actually justrehearsing like thirty five minutes ago. So
yeah, you were telling me backstage. Yeah, yeah, that's a lot.
But yeah, that's all good man. It's it's just grind it out,
(13:07):
man. It's like you've been doingit for how many years? I
don't even know. Well, Istarted when I was ten. I'm thirty
four. I turned thirty five inJune, so yeah, coming up on
in a while. Hell so it'sso cool. So we got London from
stage Hi, it's all good.So that's been my that's been my.
(13:37):
Uh my past two days been recordingand then uh, just rehearsing for the
road. Dakota gave me a monthand four days to hire a band and
get them all trained up. Sowe've been smacking that pretty hard. That's
cool. Heck yeah, get it, get it, get it? So
how do how you how long you'regonna be out? So it will be
(14:03):
June fourteen, starts in Nashville, but I think I'm going to meet up
in Columbia, so it'll be Junefifteenth for me to June twenty seventh,
will be coming home. That's cool, cool, m m m hm oh
yeah. So for now it's justkind of like tighten up the reins.
Tomorrow's eighteen days. Yeah, yeah, the countdown's begun. So you go
(14:26):
out to Columbia first and then you'rebe in Republic, right, yes,
Columbia, then two nights in Republicand if you want any of those dates,
you can go on my Facebook ChrisSharp shr Pe. Uh, I
have mine posted on there, andthen if you go to Dakota Poorman it's
spelled p o O r m aN on Facebook, the dates will be
(14:48):
on there. So if y'all,y'all people from Republic and Columbia come and
support the tour, it's the Hippieat Hard tour, so that'll be you.
It's exciting. So so do youhave your own band? I actually
I have my own studio band,so, um, like when I'm recording
my own music, I have peoplethat I bring in and record with me.
(15:13):
But as in live band, um, right now, I mean I
played a gig with Carnell and Damienand at the Rowdy Beaver here in Eureka
Springs last week. We just threwit together. We literally just threw a
bunch of stuff in the back ofmy car and we just drove Diureka.
(15:33):
I mean, you have more thanone band, yeah, so yeah,
but I know a lot of people, so it's just like a lot of
it's just like, hey, doyou want to you want to go play
a show? And then we justlike pack up and go. So um,
it really just kind of depends onwho's available at what time. You
know, I don't really have asolid band, like like right, yeah,
(15:54):
but I mean I could just givea phone give someone a phone call
and be like, hey do youwant to play? Yeah, how many
as your band this time? Five? Five? Yeah, which is a
lot of dudes. So'll be uh, drums, bass, two league guitar
players and then the singer plays guitaras well. So wow, hell yeah,
(16:18):
Oh it's super cool. So theguitar players from Washington State, and
his name is Dragon, and um, I just got off the phone with
him three days ago and I said, hey, um, you know,
I saw your I saw your pictureon Facebook, and you know, I
was a little disappointed. I thoughtyou were gonna be Asian and I said,
(16:41):
but you're but you're white. Andyou know, I mean, obviously
God didn't want me to have anAsian guitar player named Dragon, so that
didn't happen. And I said,I thought you played guitar with like you're
instead of a guitar pick, youuse numb chucks, you know, and
yeah, yeah, yeah really hestarted laughing. He thought that was hilarious.
(17:02):
But that's that's awesome. Yeah.So we had that going on,
and then my birthdays in June,so I turned thirty five on June ninth,
So I was excited. What's goingon for um? Something happened anyway,
So I'm a I'm a Gemini,So I'm a Gemini Aquarius Capquarius,
(17:30):
h of aquarias he's Capricorn Aquarius.Because what the sheep ship did you just
say? Or sheepshower, sheep shower, sheep shower, What the sheep shower
are you saying? Yeah, we'vejust been like I literally brought over Carnal
(17:51):
and we have three computers. Wehave three computers in one room with two
keyboards, and we're like going betweenthree differ her computers recording. So that's
been a lot of fun. Anduh, and then we we're getting ready
for tour and then at the sametime, we're actually playing um Andy B's
Tiki Bar the next two nights. So it'll be Friday night and Saturday night.
(18:15):
I don't really have times yet, just like kind of like I'm thinking,
like, uh, it'll be sevento ten. I'm thinking at Andy's
Tiki Bar. So we got thosegigs. Yeah, we got those gigs
this weekend and then Monday hit inthe ground again pounding on the on the
songs for the road. So thatis so sweet like that, it's really
(18:41):
busy. And then I like,we take care of our ninety four year
old grandmother as well, and sowe take care of her. Danielle's actually
got like a fever right now. She's been sick for like two days.
So she had one hundred. Yeah, she had one hundred and one yesterday
and above one hundred and one,it was almost one hundred and two.
And then today this morning she wasone on one and now she's ninety eight.
(19:03):
So I mean that's good news.Wow, yeah, that's crazy.
Okay. So I talked to hertwo days ago. Oh did you I
was going to talk talk to her. I sent her and a number and
I was going to talk to herand try to surprise you and have her
(19:27):
Oh that would have been cool nightand everything. But she told me that
she was sick, and I waslike, yeah, she's like, I
mean, she's way under the weather, Like she doesn't even feel like talking.
That's how sick she is, youknow. And then whenever I don't,
yeah, I don't like talking,like I think. I went into
(19:47):
the bedroom probably like once every hourand a half and checked on her all
day and ninety percent of the timeshe's asleep. So yeah, like like
she should have taken day quill likehours ago. But the last three times
I've checked on her, she's gonnasleep. So that is the only good
thing about like illness or sleep.Yeah, I just got to sleep.
(20:15):
And people pampered me. I meanit's bad. Yeah, people shouldn't enjoy
being in the hospital. But that'sthe most papered I've ever been. Yeah,
once you once you hit like fourdays, it starts getting annoying.
But the first three days is reallynice. It's like if you're sick,
if you're sick for three days, you're like the fourth day you're like,
(20:37):
okay, I'm ready to take careof myself. But the first three days
are really nice. Someone's taking careof me. What see, if I
had like six like Danielle is rightnow, I'm just like I'll do it
myself. But like he tries totake care of me or he's like do
you want anything, He's like,no, let's just get it when I
(20:59):
get up. Well, speaking ofmy wife, I'll go ahead and tell
you the story of how we metand everything. Yes, Okay, So
I had just came back from Nashville. I had our audio engineered out there
and I made it. I madeit back to Missouri back home, and
I was working at tyson Chicken Plant, a terrible job. So if anyone's
(21:22):
watching this he's working at Tyson's,go somewhere else. There's better places man
to go. Oh yeah, andoh yeah, dude, for sure his
job I've ever been around. It'sgood money. It's like sixteen fourteen,
fourteen to twenty two an hour.Yeah. So when we met, I
(21:44):
was working at Tyson's and we meton tender so swipe right right, that's
where we met. And I'll neverforget the first time she drove up to
me because at the time, Idon't think I even had a vehicle at
that time, you know, andjust living the rock star life, you
(22:04):
know, on the road all thetime and not having a vehicle, you
know. And she drove past mebecause I guess she was so nervous,
and she turned around, and I'mjust like standing there at the end of
my parents' driveway, you know,I'm just going hey. So I got
(22:30):
in the car and we started drivingback to Branson because she's from Branson and
I lived in Monette at the time, and she had this she had this
glass of tea. It was aI think it was McDonald's or something as
a cup, and every time shewent to turn, the tea would tip
and she catch it, you know, and I'll never forget it. I'll
(22:51):
never forget it. We she wasturning and we were both trying to catch
the tea at the same time,so our hands like kept touching each other,
you know. So that was likeour first like laugh together, you
know. And then m from there, skip forward a little bit. I
was looking for some extra income soI could buy some new guitars and all
(23:15):
that kind of stuff. So Ipicked up a job at the VFW in
Monette and I became a bartender atforty two o seven in Monette, Missouri.
I was a bartender there for abouta year. Oh wow, Yeah,
so I cut my teeth doing that. It's great money, you know,
if you can handle the hours. It's really always wanted to be a
bartender. It's honestly, I recommendanybody, everybody to be a bartender for
(23:41):
at least six months of your lifebecause you'll learn how to make every drink
you want to drink. Like, you learn everything like you know how to
mix and shake and everything and stireverything, you know. So so she
would come out every weekend and shewould just watched me bartend. And that's
(24:03):
kind of how we dated, wasshe just came out and watched me bartend
and watched me drowned behind the bar, just constantly, just because I was
still learning how to make drinks andshe was always there, you know,
and she I was working at Tyson's. I remember having a very hard week
and I was like, I'm gonnaquit. I can't, I can't work
(24:25):
here anymore. And I was like, and my bartending isn't gonna pay my
bills because I only had I thinkI worked two days a week bartending.
Yeah, And I was like,I'm not going to have the hours to
pay my bills. So I calledher frustrated and I said, I don't
know what I'm gonna do, butI can't do this chicken shit anymore.
Like I mean, I'm I'm overit. And she said, wyn't you.
(24:48):
Why don't you just moved to Branson. You can move in with me.
So I literally like quit my job. I put my two weeks in.
I think it was like three dayslater, and then I just moved
a brand, I said, Imoved in with her and cool. Yeah.
So we were together for a whileliving together, and then we went
and made a trip to Nashville, and basically what happened was one of her
(25:18):
friends told me, if you don'tif you don't propose to her, or
if you don't want to marry,or she might leave you someday. So
you got to think about that becausewe've been together for a couple of years
by then, you know. SoI got like really nervous and stuff,
and I started thinking about it.And the next morning I woke up and
(25:41):
I talked to I talked to DarylWhite, and I said, Hey,
I'm going to propose to her tonight. He's like what, And I'm like,
yeah, I've got to do it, man, I love her too
much the loser, And he's likewhat. So the story goes, we
leave this bar and like we wereeating pizza and we were Chick fil A
(26:02):
Sweet Tea. It was a Chickfil A Sweet Tea. So we're eating
pizza and I'm like, hey, where are we gonna do it? Where
am I going to propose? Andhe's like, we go to the steps
of the rhymen, that's what wedo. So we're just kind of laxed
the daily daisy walking down the roadand Daryl was like, oh, this
(26:26):
is the rhyman, you know, the church of country music. And and
we step we go up on thesteps and I just kneeled down and I
got my knees and I grabbed herhand and I said, I know that
I'm a pain in the ass,but I love you. Will you marry
me? Oh? And it wasjust real short and sweet, you know,
(26:51):
And and she was freaking out becauseI think I had her. I
think I had her convinced that Ididn't believe in marriage. So when I
proposed, she was just like freakingout, you know. And uh,
yeah, you're the one that didit. So yeah. So we came
(27:14):
back home, we planned the wedding. Uh we we had our wedding and
it was like a refurbished barn.So it was a barn with like you
know, like a kitchen and allthat, and it was out in the
country. It was really beautiful. And uh so that's the story of the
sweetest proposal. El She just lovedit because it was so me, you
(27:38):
know, like I I didn't uhput on any show. I was just
being myself, you know. Yeah, I know I could be a pain
in the ass, But will youmarry me? I like that, you
know, And I'm just gonna putit out there. Yeah. And I
actually because it was so spontaneous andbecause I loved her so much, I
(28:02):
didn't even have a ring on me. So, like when we came back
home, I let her pick outher own wedding ring and we went and
did that together. Yeah. SoI said, hey, how about that
one? That one costs a littlemore, and she's like, no,
I know what this one, thisis the one I Wanted'm like, well,
I mean that won't cost more,so it. Yeah. So that's
(28:29):
that's our story. And she wasa property manager of b Creek Apartments and
they were selling theirs the dryer sorryum and uh yeah, so when we
heard that they were selling to anothercompany, uh, we decided to buy
a house. So we started looking, well, she started looking. I
(28:52):
literally did nothing. I just sataround and playing guitar. She found us
a house, we found she gotus a elitor and the first house we've
been looked at. Um, wefell in love with it and we bought
it. I mean we literally hada house within just like seven months.
Wow. Yeah, it was prettycrazy. So this is my fireplace behind
(29:15):
me, and we had some birdsliving in it last year, so we
got a we got a chimney topperon it, so squirrels and all that
can't get in it. But yeah, we love our house. And I
have the eight hundred square foot buildingin the backyard that I turned I'm turning
(29:37):
into my studio so I'm able togo out there and record at any time
of the day. And I haveclients or very blessed. I'm I'm a
very blessed person, you know,to have all the instruments that I have
and all the equipment that I have, and my house. And I can't
say enough about how much I lovemy wife and how supportive she is and
(30:02):
and she's always there for me,you know, to make sure that you
know, I get what I needwhen I need it, you know,
and she's just always there. SoI love you, babe. Oh,
I love you too, babe. Now that's all the sweet you're getting out
of me tonight. Yeah, Iknow. Actually we could go say hi
(30:25):
to her. Let's see if she'swatching. Hey, you want me to
bring the phone in there and say, Hi, I kill you. She's
like, we're gonna kill him, kill him, I kill you. No,
did she say that? I'm readyto get my babe back. Every
(30:52):
time she's sick, it makes itmakes my life like twenty times harder because
i have to take like all theall the dogs out and take care of
grandma solely, and then I've gotall this other stuff going on, and
I'm like, I'm just ready formy wife to come back. That is
her favorite line. Her line isI will cut a bitch. And my
(31:15):
line is, I don't know Iplay guitar. I don't I don't know.
I love you girl already. We'relike, I'm telling you man.
Uh So let's see. So wetalked about my family, we talked about
my wife, We talked about myhouse, my studio. So my studio
(31:37):
I run, it's Sharp Wright Entertainment, and um, I operate with I
mean, honestly, I just makea phone call and I get someone to
play for you. You know,if you want to pay for him,
you know, I can get somebodyfor you. But um, I'm running
production, uh studio right out ofmy backyard. And because I do it
(32:00):
out of my backyard. And becauseit's my own business, I charge the
best rates in the entire area. And if you want the best mixes,
I can get someone that charges twothousand dollars. I know those people.
So I mean, yeah, I'mmy rates. You won't beat my rates.
So and I want you to beyour own person, you know,
(32:22):
as an artist, and help yougrow. And if you outgrow me,
it's fine, I'll send you tothe next expensive person. Don't just don't
forgive me. Listen, just letme play on your next record, and
I'll charge you. I'll charge yourhalf price. How about that? Yeah?
(32:45):
So, and I do everything jinglesto background music, and you know,
I played bluegrass, metal, blues, it doesn't matter what it is.
So um, it's gonna hold meif you want to record. I'm
also giving lessons nowadays too, soum. I had a friend of mine
(33:07):
the other day Carnell told me,said, hey, you should be doing
guitar lessons, and I was like, yeah, I should. Well,
am I not getting a guitar lessons? He's like, probably because you're really
busy all the time. And I'mlike, yeah, but I can make
guitar lessons. Have I got you? It's fun though. Guitar lessons are
(33:30):
fun because I mean you can goand watch all the stuff on the internet
learn how to play. And there'sa dryer again, are you dry yet?
I'll cut a bitch dry beat andthen it would like continuously and then
(33:52):
it beep and it wasn't like that. It was like beep beep, beep
beepvent Oh. I was so happyto throw that up the back door.
You know, we got a newdrug because it also started eating it clothes
and so we had to get anew Dara. Well that's because it broke.
We don't know shit about anything,so we just continue to use it.
(34:14):
I mean it still worked. Imean it would make this probably just
kept using it. Just screw it. Yeah, I love that story anyway,
So let's use it until we killit. So yeah, in I
literally just pull it out and screwit out the back door. So funny
(34:36):
because if you take a guitar player'sdryer and if you take the cone out
and look on the inside, you'llsee like literally like one hundred and fifty
guitar picks. It'd be like belike a pile like full, dude,
like full of guitar picks. YouYeah, if I ever need to pick
that enough, I'm just gonna pullthe dryer apart, babe. Sorry about
(34:59):
that now, she knows. I'veheard of like stories about you know,
the the almighty Picke getting stuck andbreaking the dryer, and like it does
happen, like if the pickfalls inat the right angle and gets in the
right spot. Yeah, yeah,Hello, and how are you t Roy?
(35:22):
I am good? I am good. How are you? Jason?
And hello? Back? Anyways,Hey, let's go get one, babe.
I'm down, like I'm down todo that before we go on tour.
Maybe you can trade this one inon it. Hey, okay,
(35:42):
I get a proposition, okay toanyone watching, if you have a brand
new dryer, I'll record a songfor you. We'll just exchange services.
It's fine. That'd become you know, more people when you do that.
Yeah, yeah, whatever happened tothat? Isn't that like like where this
country was born on was exchanging servicesand bartering? She said that first,
(36:09):
of course she does. She's she'sthe she's the money keeper. I'm the
guy who just like just asked forpermission to spend it. Yeah, Jason
says, okay, deal, hehas two new drivers. Well we'll just
rub it in, he said,Okay, okay, there you go,
(36:36):
Jason, and hey, hey,so I got two recording sessions with your
name on him, buddy, one, how about one? I just need
one of those drivers, just one? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm
not trying to I'm not trying totake from you, Bud. So I
(37:00):
got the studio, I go ontour, but da code to Poorman.
Um, obviously I play everything. So like I'm trying to talk my wife
and to let me buy a banjobecause that's like one of my next instruments
I want to work on. ButI mean you can get one for like
(37:20):
six hundred. That's not too bad. That's nothing, dude. The last
guitar I bought was cheap. Iconsider this cheap Acrosst fourteen hundred. That's
cheap. Yeah, hello Ted Hiall right. Also, I also like
(37:45):
to give a shout out to ChristopherWright if you're if you're watching this,
buddy, I love you and Ireally appreciate you with giving me that Fender
Stratocaster that's sitting in my studio rightnow, just in case he's watching.
Yeah, I got I gotta throwthe dude a bone because he literally just
looked at me. I said, dude, but you might need this.
(38:05):
He's like, no, but youneed this guitar more than I do.
So he just gave me, like, gave me a fifteen hundred dollar guitar.
It might be worse, It mightbe worse seventeen hundred. It depends
on the market. But yeah, just gave it to me. Ted is
al still in a band and helikes to play music as well. Who
(38:29):
Ted, Oh? Ted? Yeah? What kind of music? Um?
I think the class it's a dryeragain. What kind of music do you
play? Ted? So and Jasonsays, you think country? Yeah?
I think I have a song calledthe Man I Want to Be And I
(38:52):
don't know if you I don't knowif you have that one g roy Um,
we played it. I think youhave it. I should have it.
Should I listen to it? Yeah? It's from m let's talk about
my grandpa and my dad and mydad teaching me how to fish and oh
yeah, that's what you wanted meto upload a song? Yeah. Yeah,
(39:15):
so that's one of my country songs. Um. I do a lot
of co writing too, so um, because I'm in Southwest Missouri. I
write country nowadays, So do Ising country prominently nowadays? Yes, because
that's you. Live in Branson andwe have things like country music and Hillbillies.
(39:40):
Yeah, hey me how country countrymusic? Capital Hackerbillies, Hillies,
Hackerbillies, Tad sings country, alternative, classic rock, jazz, and blues.
That's what his band plays. Well, that's all my jam right there,
(40:01):
that's my jam. He's pretty good. He's up in New York,
way away from New York City.Hello, New York, New York.
Live in New York. It istime for a commercial. Oh my god.
And guess what I think. Wehave a new commercial. Yeah.
(40:22):
So after this commercial, we're goingto come back and mister Chris is going
to be answering a question. Thatquestion is going to be if there was
one thing in the world that youwould want thousands to millions of people to
get checked on, you know, changed in one way or the other to
(40:43):
make it more positive and make theworld a better place. So ponder on
that, Chris, and we willbe right back after these after these one
babe, talking about the ship,I don't even play the message. M
(41:10):
hm h m hm. Boom boomboom, boom boom, boom boom,
(42:37):
and hello and welcome back to everything. Oh hello, I just looked and
I had like ten minutes. Iswear I was exciting, So I'll welcome
back to everything. Yet nothing. We have mister Chris Sharp here, and
(42:58):
if you don't know him, youshould. He lives in Branson, Missouri.
He has a recording studio, Heplays in bands, he could plays
all kinds of music and instruments. And uh, we are going to ask
him a question. And that questionis that there was one there's one thing
(43:19):
in the world that you would wantto check. And when I say check,
you know, I say checked becauseI need to be checked. I
don't know how I always come off, you know, And so I'm all
like, I come off and hewas like I need need he all at
you know, So, what isone thing that you would want to check
(43:42):
individuals on in the world to makeit a better place? Well to start
that out, I would say,as as on a less serious note,
have you guys ever gone to aWalmart parking lot? Oh yeah, and
there's like, say, shopping cardsjust like sitting in the grass, you
know, they're like up on thelittle islands or whatever. Yeah, yeah,
(44:07):
I got you. That drives meinsane. Like, so, all
I go over there and I'll takeall the cards out and I'll put them
in their place, you know.Um you know Glen Glenn dan Zigg from
The Misfits and dan Zigg I alwaysuh said that, you know, that's
a good sign of if you're agood human being or not. No,
(44:29):
this is These are moments where I'mlike, I'm not even human being.
I think I'm an alien because yeah, people on my planet. People on
my planet don't treat people the waythey do here. Man. No,
no, I don't know. Idon't like that. Um. As a
matter of fact, the other dayat work, and I work in the
(44:51):
service industry, but yep, someonewas trying to work the technology and they're
like this damn app. And I'myou know what, I'm here sitting here
trying to help you, but onceyou start cussing at me, I will
not help you. I said,I have no control over that app.
And he's like, well, Iwasn't cussing at you, And I said,
(45:13):
well, there's no reason to useprofanity so in anyway, right,
And I was like, I understandthat. Frustrated with the app but there's
nothing I can do about it.So I can sit here and try to
help you, or you can justdeal with it and get what you want
for the full press. Okay.So this is another thing, is that
(45:34):
we live in the fast food industrylike mentality, So everybody wants what they
need and they want it now andthey want to get going. I guess
what. Tough cookies, tough shit. Sometimes you don't get what you want
as fast as you want it.You know what, you get it when
you get it, and calm, calm the fuck down, because life is
(45:59):
not worth the stress. Now.I need to eat my own words on
that one. But I would saythat being more compassionate to people is something
that's kind of lost, you know. Chivalry has has been lost over the
years, like opening the door forsomebody, um, that kind of stuff,
(46:20):
like it seems to be going away, and uh, you know,
allowing people to be themselves, um, you know whoever you are. You
know, Like when I cut myhair, I had all of my metal
friends in Portland, Oregon giving meshit about it and saying, the real
Chris, the real Chris Sharp isdead because he cut his hair. Oh
that's a true story. Dude, like straight up, like I could go
(46:44):
on my news, on my historyand you could read all of them because
I didn't delete any of it.I just let it all hang out like
on that. And yeah, theywere just giving me a bunch of flak
because I cut my hair. Thereal, the real Chris Sharp is dead.
Well, well, guess what ifI want to cut my hair.
I have the right to cut myhair exactly, and that shouldn't That doesn't
(47:05):
make me any less of a guitarplayer or anybody else's business for that matter.
I cut my scrap where I hadlonger hair than this, and I
cut my hair and I didn't cry. Someone else started hearing it, but
that's what I fell in love with, said, why are you crying?
I'm the one that's been growing thisout for three years. I seen his
(47:28):
hair and I was like, ohmy god, I'm gonna marry that hair.
Yes, I'm telling you man.My hair was down to my waist.
It was thirty thirty nine inches long. And I can pull up some
pictures or whatever, but we're onan interview right now. But my hair
was long, and uh, yeah, they're just giving me a bunch of
(47:51):
hell about it. Man. Andyou know, I have the right to
cut my hair as much as Ihave the right to not. And you
know, people need to lightn upbecause yeah, so what whatever you want
to be, whoever you want tobe, and whatever you choose to be
is your own damn business. AndI think that people need to respect that.
(48:15):
Tip your bartenders, that's right. So everybody needs a lightn up and
then enjoy their life just a littlebit more and stop giving everyone so much
flak. Man. Yeah, likethe world like like John Lennon, bro,
John Lennon, All you need islove, like and that's it.
(48:40):
And I don't put up with people. I'm just like, yeah, I
know I'm here to serve you.Right. You want to hear you want
to hear the worst thing I've everbeen called as a bartender? Yeah,
okay, So I was wearing awhite shirt and a red tie and he
(49:00):
is making a joke when he saidthis, But he says, what are
you some kind of minnonite faggot? And I was just like straight up and
like the fact that he even saidit was like, I mean, he
was making a joke, but likeI'm just I'm going you're cut off and
(49:22):
he's like, I'm sorry, I'msorry. I'm like, I got you
say, I'm sorry. I guessyou're not cut off, You're fine.
Well, I mean, let's stbut you check. Yeah, it's crazy
that everybody. Yeah, but it'scrazy that it's crazy that there's like no
line, Like I mean, you'rejust allowed to say yeah, it's crazy
(49:45):
to me. You know. Well, I mean that that comment and itself
shows ignorance because one, I wouldn'tthink minnonite with a white shirt, red
tie thing Mormon. And I meanjust the word that he used other than
that is ignorance in itself because noone's a cigarette. Well yeah, and
like like you were just asking whatis there you know, is there anything
(50:08):
that you know you would change? And I would say just overall, just
like being more polite to people,Like it doesn't take anything out of your
day to let someone else go aheadof you when you're driving down the road,
or to open the door for someoneelse, or if someone's twenty five
(50:28):
cents short on their food at thestore or at the gas station, just
give them the twenty five cents.Like it's just all it's it's all the
small thing. Shape don't be gettingstupid and shit with it, you know,
just do something nice for somebody, you know, in the drive through,
pay for someone's food that's behind yougroceries. It just it's okay,
(50:50):
go ahead and do it. Mywife would be like, don't do that.
Don't do that, especially if youhave the same if you're going to
use the same credit card or deitcard, do not do that. That's
very true, just saying it holdsup not a good idea. I appreciate
your guys trying to be nice andeverything. Ted Ben's son says, people
(51:12):
today are selfish and nasty, lessthe old ladies, good all, love
yours. Yeah, and that's that'smy that's my biggest thing is to just
be nicer to people. Um,you know, compassion. It's something I
feel, as missus clean shart. It takes more effort to be an ass
(51:37):
than it does just to be kind. And that is so true. I
want to build on that. Isaw that in the comments and I totally
already had every like it does. And I've always been the person I don't
hold grudges because it takes more energyto remember why I hate the person as
(51:57):
it does to just be like,oh well, there's that person. What's
up? Go on my life? And for a couple of years I had
a moral one of me and Iwas just like, um, anytime I
saw this person, even the nameI wanted and Tiroy, we saw him
at a bar and Hero is like, so just say hi. I'm like,
no, why would I say that? And he's like, I said
(52:20):
Hi. I's like really, He'slike yeah. And I was like,
so, what are you saying thatI should just go bury the hatchet because
I'm done spinning this energy that andhe's like yeah, like I had a
whole skill, but you guys basicallyheard it right right anyway, he says
like and he said yeah. SoI went out there and I was like,
hey, what's done is done, and I'm done with the bullshit.
(52:43):
So it is what it is.And he's like, yeah, this is
what it is. And you know, we buried the hatchet in the hippieway
right. And even were just ata friend's house the other day and they
walked in and she's like, oh, I didn't know this, you know
it was going to happen. Ididn't new you guys are coming over and
it's like sorry, oh cool, and it felt so much, like as
(53:07):
seriously like just dealt with it.Was like, hey, it's over whatever,
and we both agreed. It waslike a weight had been lifted.
And it takes so much to dislikesomeone or to be unkind. I didn't
realize how much it was until Ihave done to learn over the last few
years, especially starting the show thatI got. You know, I needed
(53:31):
to work on that, and soI started working on that. I think
nobody is ever finished working on that. It's a continuous thing. But I
think that we both have changed ourways whenever it kind of to stuff like
that, we like let stuff goand just whatever now some things now,
(53:52):
but other things. Yeah, AndI think everybody just yeah, like Chris
said, whatever, man, justlet it go. Oh what you know,
help somebody gives, somebody, payit forward. It's as cliche as
it sounds, and you know,as cliche as all that is, it's
(54:14):
it means everything because at the endof the day, we're all just a
bunch of beings on a planet tryingto just just just trying to survive.
Man. And like it's it's notlike it's that hard to let someone go
ahead of you or you know,I'm I'm known for letting cars go ahead
of me all the time, commentsto yourself, you know kind of thing.
(54:37):
Yeah. Yeah, with that beingsaid, I have a hard time
sometimes I have a hard time like, uh, well, I'm learning over
the years that you know, totry to trying to keep your emotions out
of things sometimes, and that's somethingthat I'm I'm still trying to work on,
you know. But you know thatthey say the first step is,
(54:58):
you know, being aware of it. So yeah, that is I mean,
at least I know I have aproblem with it, you know,
right right with emotions, I'm notwith having them. I'm just head with
other people having them. I'm like, I just have a short views,
you know, and there's no motionbusiness. You don't do this, you
(55:20):
don't And I'm like, that's correct, but I do have it short.
It's hard though, easily Like I'mthe same way now, I'll let it
go. I'll let it go.I'll let it go, and then finally
it'll be and it could be someonejust like I've dealt with bullshit all day
and then say t Roy says somethinglike, what the fuck you know?
(55:45):
But that's try everything I've done withye, That's what he's like anymore.
Well, I used to. Youknow, that's the difference between thinking.
You know, a wise man thinksbefore he speaks y, you know,
(56:05):
so uh, some like, um, I have situations. I have situations
that arise all the time where insteadof reacting, like sometimes it's better to
just maybe go get some guidance froma friend. Yeah, you know,
go talk to them before you justgo freaking ham or crazy. You know.
I had, I had something likethat happened today and I just went
(56:29):
and talked to my buddy and hesaid, hey, you know, why
don't you just wait three hours beforeyou respond? And I did and it
worked out great. So and alot of times it will, you know,
just give yourself a break and gatheryour thoughts because otherwise it comes out
really shitty or whatever, and youdon't really mean like that, but that's
(56:50):
how you come off. And yeah, and that's that's other wisdom that I
that I would say, And that'sme I should be eating my own words,
you know, I mean. Butthat's uh, you know, reaction
to actions not always good, man. You know. Reaction to action is
fine if it's happy, Yeah,it's a happy reaction. But if it's
(57:14):
if it's anger. Yeah, reactionto actions always bad. I'm always so
nice. I'm like, well, you have a wonderful day. You are
what you eat. That's what Ilove to say. People call me an
asshole, you are just love, man, That's my whole thing, peace
(57:37):
and love. It's uh. Ifeel like I feel like sometimes people mistake,
you know, kindness for weakness, because if you're too nice, then
they're going to take advantage of you. So with that being said, you
like, if you're gonna be toonice, don't be too nice yourself a
(57:57):
line. Yeah, hey, I'mgoing to give this person only this much
niceness, and then you know,if it goes further than you know that
you know, if something's up oryou're not, you go to just you
know, and there's still you know. The way I talked to my wife
about things is uh, I've alwaysused the analogy of life as a scale,
(58:21):
you know, so for for everythinggood U if you if you gain
something, you're always going to losesomething, yes, right, So like
if you eat too much food, you're gonna be overweight. You don't eat
enough food, right, right,So a lot of things in life are
balanced. And yeah, and Isay there is no good without bad and
(58:45):
there is no bad without good.So we gotta have both of those to
level it, you know, wecan We're not level That's like I'm unbreakable
the movie Unbreakable with um, whatis that swellis right? Yes, yep,
And you got the strong person andthen you know who who doesn't respond
(59:07):
to anything, and then you gotthe guy who's like glass in his bones
break you know. And it takesit takes both to make the world go
round. So it really does notmany people realize that. And so when
you say, oh, I'm gonnaget this thing and it's gonna be so
awesome, like my car is gonnabe so nice, it's gonna be better
(59:27):
than everyone's out, Well, that'sgoing to come with the price, and
the price is gonna be money.Yeah at the end of the day.
Yeah, that's it. Yeah,And that's that's life, you know.
Yeah. So um, it's justgot to learn to balance things. And
if I had anything to say,it would be all those things that I
said, those are those are thethose are the stepping stones to me trying
(59:49):
to be a better person I waslooking for. Yeah. Yeah, so
just keep it on the scale andabsolutely everybody you know, listen to Chris
because you know that everything that hejust said would make a big difference in
this world. And it doesn't takeyou know, a lot, So none
of that takes money. And everythingthat I said, like, it's totally
(01:00:13):
free, story free. Be agood person. And if you're a shitty
person, go see a therapist orsomething. I don't know what to tell
you. Some s go eat someshit. Not that I have a short
(01:00:45):
never never have you ever watched TheHelp? No gosh, oh mg,
yes, Octavia, Yes it's backties. I think so maybe earlier, but
um, all the bike chicks andstuff tould just get jobs as maids.
(01:01:06):
And Octavia Spencer's in it and shewasn't made to this one bitch, and
Sissy's SPACEIC is her mom, andyou helped me exactly. Your wife knows
what talk And he gets fired forusing the inside bathroom during yeah, and
oh my god, feeds this womana cake or a pie and it's a
(01:01:30):
chocolate pie and this one was likemowing down on this chocolate pie. Well,
if you're going to this and she'slike eat my shit, She's like,
what do you mean? What areyou talking to me? Like that.
She's like, eat my shit, and she said, oh, dare
you speak to me like that? She's like, well you're done, did,
(01:01:51):
And Cissy Space is just going crazy. She's like a crazy lady,
little crazy old lady trying to home. But oh my gotta Hilaria's I love
it though. I'm gonna have tocheck that out. Yeah, it's so
you said we got so you haveto have a couple hours. But it's
a great movie. You said yougot some exciting news that's coming up here
(01:02:13):
in the next week or so.Oh yeah, Um, are we gonna
embellish it all? Or are wejust gonna love it? Hey? I
love it? Say tuned. Seethat's my favorite right there. That's like,
well we left the one show whereI was just like, and that's
all I'm telling you for this weekend. Yeah, exactly. There's just something
(01:02:37):

He has one mission and that's rebirth. I'm gonna have to put this.
(01:05:32):
Yeah, voiceovers too, I dovoiceovers, man, Honestly, like
