 ⚖️ Wrong in the Face of Violence — The recent tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk during a speaking event is a stark reminder of how far things have gone. Political violence is never justifiable, and targeting someone for what they say or who they are—regardless of one’s beliefs—is deeply wrong. It should convict us all: we live in a world where hatred and extremism grow when our eyes wander toward vengeance instead of grace.

 👁️ Composition and Focus — Like a photographer composes a shot: choosing what to brighten, what to blur, what to sharpen. Our lives have a composition: where we aim our attention shapes what we become. Hebrews 12:1-2 calls us to strip off everything that slows us down—sin, distractions, fear—and run the race with endurance, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, because He alone perfects our faith.

 🔥 Distractions Distort — Violence, anger, outrage: these are powerful images, but they distort when they become our focus. They can pull us out of God’s frame. They can make us forget the One who is ultimate Truth and Light.

🏃 Run With Endurance — The race isn’t about reacting. It’s about responding with steady faith, with hope, with love—even toward enemies. Hebrews 12:2 reminds us that Jesus endured the cross for the joy set before Him, knowing the glory that awaited. We too fix our eyes not on the temporary headline, but on the eternal promise.
