A snack popcorn?
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Okay? I like that. Number two, what is one childhood
toy that you can remember that you loved? You played
it to death with it, or played it to death
or played it.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Wow, that's good. That's the first time we had that answer.
I like that. See, folks did this show for years.
I get a new answer, and I still do that.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
I still ride a bicycle.

So what is one thing that you have learned about
yourself while watching your children parents? Oh?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
I was such an uptight parent?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Really you were? I was? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Well I was a single mom for for you know,
a number of years, so, I you know, it just
it was it was intense. It was a lot, you know, so,
and I had a big job. So but so I
was very intense. And I watched my my son parent
and my daughter in law parent, and they're just so
they're enjoying it, they're having fun, and I'm like, I didn't.
(02:52):
I don't remember it being fun until my son was
much older.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
My granddaughter is.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Five now, and she's just so funny and fun and
they roll with it, and I just don't remember, you know,
having that kind of fun until my son was playing
sports and you know, and things were had been gotten
a little easier for me.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
That makes sense, I can't. That makes I've said, folks
making her personality no time, and no, I get what
you're dog here. You're saying God's would be a single parent,
you had to take care of all that and work.
I mean, that's that's a lot. That's a lot. It
was big a lot. Get a good answer like that
number four on four gotcha. You're going on a road trip,
(03:32):
I'll just say, cause she's in Florida. You're going down
to the floor. You going to q West. You know
that this is the seven mile bridge. You pass all
your friend you know Islamarda and this whatever. So you're
driving down. What is what artists musical artist that has
to be on your playlist?
Speaker 1 (03:49):
To Betty Tom Betty's Folks.
Speaker 2 (03:55):

I was a client and we played so one of
the channels on series became a Tom Petty channel. Yes,
as we listened to it that day and it was
like Katie that song and that song and that song
and that song.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, yeah, it's channel thirty one. And it's funny that
you say that because the day he passed, I was
driving from Florida back to South Carolina because I was
living in South Carolina at the time, and every car
on ninety five, I swear to God that you could
hear Tom Petty as you were going in traffic, and
Jacksonville was stuck in traffic and everybody was playing Tom
Petty and I just got goosebumps. It was just, you
(04:35):
know what, And I seriously just got goosebumps because it
just brought you know, You're in traffic and I'm listening
to Petty, They're listening to Petty and you It just
I just felt like so connected to the universe and
to everyone around me that day. It was really special.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
My clients around my age like a year apart, so
we felt that gen X kind of like exactly, and
I think it was so on this for a second.
This is my show. I can do what I want.
I just want to say no, because here's one of
those underrated I mean he was people knew he was good,
but he was most underrated artists who just always came
(05:13):
out with songs. They were always hits. He was around,
he did traveling, world bearings, he did this over here.
He was always around. But I feel like when he died,
I was like, wait a minute, we love him. Oh yeah,
we love I feel like everybody collectively a generation, went
wait a minute, this really is a loss, and you feel.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Like profound, profound loss.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, yeah, because it was. It was really weird we
had because I think it was that was like within
that year or so we had David Bowie, Prince and
him were huge or even like losses to the yes
yes and side note, folks, if you go to the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fames I've done many times
in Cleveland, they named MTV as a section. They named
(05:53):
four artists who changed video, Tom Bitty as well of.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Them come around here No More, and also Mary Jane.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
There's a bunch of yes. I think that with the
whole toe tag thing and also the way who I mean,
I think, of course they had Michael Jackson, but obviously
that was just like petty. And then when I saw
the exhibit, I'm like, god.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, pretty epic, epic stuff.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yes, and I will always play don't stop dragging my
heart around because I love you. She was an unofficial
member of the Heartbreakers. I know, I know, Oh God,
I love it. Okay, I don't know why we're living
the same state. May be best friends, okay. And the
last question, I asked this of everybody, So I say
this with tucket cheek all the time. It's like life.
