Speaker 1 (00:02):
Everyone, everyone and anyone and everyone and everyone who watched
the other video called what is connection? By extra connection
to the show? Thank you. I am flabbergasted, I am gobsmacked,
I am in shock. I putted that video five months ago,

(00:26):
the first video of the year for that show, this show,
just basically saying, you know, we're getting ready. We came
back three three episodes, I have great guests coming and
the whole thing. And I read what connection was little
bit of the history of the show, eight minutes, seventeen seconds,

(00:47):
put it out, did okay, like as she does, put
out audio and video to the little this thing. Then
I go away for a while. I'm moving on to
other stuff. A few weeks ago. Either every week I
look at my numbers, see like where my shows are at,
how they're doing. I don't I don't like to. I'm
not there to look at numbers every day and oh

(01:08):
my god, what's going on? But it comes to video,
so I know that videos nice to take a while
to take off. Some take off right away, something off later.
And I've had some videos do better over time. Also
there's over time's crew and crew views. And when I
put out videos, there are times when like this video
should hit and it's very low. But then there are

(01:31):
videos I think, I'm just put it out there and
they go Hi, so two weeks ago, look at my
numbers and then number one video. I'm like, that's not
from this week because usually it's Current. I think Current
goes number one my channel, Like what is connection? I'm
look at like from five months ago. I think it's

(01:53):
original and its original run it did like one hundred
and some views. I'm looking at it right now. It's
at almost twenty five hundred views and there are comments
and lots of like, I am just wow, this eight second,
eight minute video did so well and continue to do

(02:16):
well now. So now it's in the rotation somehow and
the algorithm, so I guess people are seeing it. Just
thank you, I mean, And that's that's actually a great
point about connection. Sometimes a video connects with people. It
gets out there and it's it gets a chance to

(02:38):
be seen, and then people actually watch it and they
like it and it gets passed on and you make connections,
maybe connect people and they're like, I'll be your friend
or someone, and I'm like that's kind of cool. I
just thank you. You never know, I mean, this video.
I'm sure I canna do two point four you know,
I canna do twenty five hundred views, but I wanted
to do something kind of follow up, just say thank you.

(03:00):
I don't know what makes that video so special. I
have no idea. So other content creators always tell me, God,
you get some good numbers on things, and how do
I get numbers? Sometimes it's just whatever connects, whatever connects
with the audience, and it's a good it's it's a
good lesson about us, you know, im media gratifications. Sometimes
some things take a while to hit. I have a

(03:24):
lot of a lot of these shows, including the show
Extra Connections is on audio, so I'll get people, so
I'll get show to put them out there. They do
nothing in the first run. Then all of a sudden,
I'll go on one day and it's like the show
is are five number one out of all my shows.
You're like, where did that come from? I got nowhere.
It's getting all these numbers, like these these listens. You're like, wow,

(03:47):
somehow gotten into somebody's ear. It's wonderful. I'll take it.
And that's why these all these shows are evergreen. The
show that's doing this numbers is ever green anytime. Like
as I say, it's right after the first two year.
But like so I told them, well, check out our catalog.
Check out our catalog. There might be something that really

(04:08):
resonates with you. You have no idea about maybe an interview,
so they talk about anything. These shows I put them out.
They're not I mean, I move on to the next show,
but they're not done. They're for you to to look
at and listen to and make connections of your own
to them. Maybe. So that's that. I just I just

(04:29):
I'm just like again, I was just like, wow, I
don't even know what to say to that. That's just amazing.
I'm very happy about that. So if you have it,
it's called Connections, well connection check it out to other
stuff we have. We have a playlist of stuff on there.
But I again, thank you, I living gratitude, Thank you
so much. I do have more guests coming, more stuff happening.

(04:50):
It's good. We got another good season of shows. So
let's continue. JMDI is here for you. Ex Connections is
on Facebook. They got on Facebook page there and I'll
see you next time.
