Speaker 1 (00:32):
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice, he
heard me cry for mercy, because he turned his ear
to me. I will call on him as long as
I live. The cords of death entangle me, the anguish
(00:54):
of the grave come over me. I will overcome my
distress and sorrow. Then I call on the name of
the Lord. Lord save me. The Lord is gracious and righteous.
(01:16):
Our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the unweary.
When I was brought lo he saved me. Returned to
your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good
(01:38):
to you. For the Lord has delivered me from death,
my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I
may walk before the Lord in the land of the Living. Faith,
(02:05):
love and trust placed in God, our Lord will bring
us salvation. It will bring us to places in our
life that we never thought we could get to. That
(02:32):
those powers outside of us. Oh wait, let's take a
step back, because there's something that we forgot. And that
thing that we forgot is that God works from inside
of us, not outside of us. He has placed the
(03:00):
tools we need deep inside of us so that he
can work from inside of us and not on the
outside of us. So as we move forward, that as
we look inside of us for the answers, we're turning
(03:23):
to God strangers that may seem so. I really want
to deliver this message because there's a lot of this
going on that we keep looking. We look to measure
(03:48):
our success, to measure how people, how much people love us,
to measure how much God loves us. We keep looking outward.
We look on the internet, look in all these different places,
and we look to all these outside sources to measure
(04:14):
against for our success. And we see that, well, there's
all the all these like on Instagram, which I probably
spend way too much time on Instagram. I'll say that.
Say that again, as probably said it before, that you
(04:36):
see all those oh you're not getting enough sales, You're
you're not getting enough engagement, We're not getting all all
these things that how to improve so that people see
you more so so you get to be seen as successful,
You get to be seen as all these different things
(05:02):
that the corporate world wants you to use to measure
your success. Okay, well that's all fine, I guess, but
we're forgetting the one measurement that is most important, and
(05:23):
that is how God would measure our success and we
can only see that when we look inside of ourselves.
We turn our to intuition inside of ourselves so that
we see what our purpose from God is. And then
it becomes a different measurement. It's not the same as
(05:50):
the corporate measurement because first it rules out having a
large bank account. We don't need to have in order
to be successful. We don't need a lot of money.
(06:13):
I know that sounds strange and it's like, what are
you talking about? What? I only the only successful people
are those who have money. No, the only success the
successful people don't need to have money. And if you
(06:34):
ask a lot of the billionaires out there, they will
say that there came a point that human impact became
more important than the money itself. That yeah, I can
(06:56):
keep making money, but human impact became more important. You asked,
if you ever get a chance to ask the billionaires that,
they'll tell you that. They'll tell you that human impact
became more important. That knowing that they touched more human
beings became more important than amassing more dollars. So why
(07:27):
not this, why not started out focusing on the human impact?
But that's the whole thing. That you can have a
billion dollars. And if you haven't changed at least one
person's life while you're why you're alive, have you really
(07:53):
been successful? Focus on that one person whose life you
can change, because at one person, at one person, according
to God, if you can can have an effect and
(08:14):
change that one life to make that one life, that
one light come alive and that light joins your light,
your life becomes brighter. Your light in the universe becomes brighter.
And that's a measurement of success. You could have a
(08:45):
very large influential following, shall we say, on social media,
But if you're not helping those lights come alive, you're
not helping those people alive. You're not helping them see
that they are somebody worth being instead of a person
(09:11):
worth doing or having. If you can only tell them
that that they're only worth something because they have a
bunch of stuff or a lot of dollars in the bank,
then you're not truly having an impact on them. You're
not breaightening their light. Every time you breaighten someone else's light,
(09:37):
your light becomes brighter because all of our lights joined together,
all of our souls join together in the love that
God has put before us. This is why I love
the Lord. He hears my voice when I try to
(10:04):
join others in his name. He hears my voice when
I cry mercy for myself and for all those who
join with me, and he listens. He helps when we
(10:32):
put that faith into us and we join together like that.
That love helps us lighten the load, helps us move
forward towards that land of the living. It helps our
feet find that land of the living. So don't worry
(10:59):
about how many dollars you have in your bank account,
but worry about the people who you have an effect on.
Worry about those people, and measure your success on the
number of people that come along with you on your journey.
(11:21):
That you brighten their light, not fill their houses full
of stuff. It doesn't matter if you fill their houses
full of stuff. What matters is if you make their
soul shine.
