Whoever dwells whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my god, whom I trust, surely he will save you from the Fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence, he will cover you with his feathers and under his wings. You will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and your rampart. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor will you, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence the stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 1000 they may fall at your side. 10s of 1000s at fall at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, Lord is my refuge and make the Most High your dwelling. No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will
rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say
to the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, whom I trust. Surely he will save you
from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He

(00:56):
will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings
you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield
and your rampart. You will not fear the terror of
the night, Nor will you nor the arrow that flies

(01:18):
by day, nor the pestilence of stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at mid day. A thousand
they may fall at your side, tens of thousands fall
at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

(01:40):
You will only observe with your eyes and see the
punishment of the wicked. If you say, Lord is my refuge,
and make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will
overtake you you, No disaster will come near your tent.

(02:06):
It's kind of interesting that this reading should actually pop
up because it's all on social media. Someone talking about
the armor and Shield of God, and he said that
it's interesting that they never mentioned the back. Well, he

(02:26):
eventually comes to the conclusion that that must mean that
God has our backs. Well, that's the truth. If you
fully immerse yourself into putting your faith in your fate
into the hands of God, he has your back. That
you can move forward through anything with God at your back.

(02:55):
I say this, if you walk with God, you offer
God your hand towards so that you say that He
is holding you through things, you will find a way through.
It doesn't mean that you're not going to see things
that you're not going to see sadness. You're not going
to feel sadness. What does mean that you will always

(03:18):
find a refuge in a way out of that sadness. Okay, sadness.
Since we're talking about sadness. Happiness is that our brothers
and sisters in around and Israel are now under some

(03:40):
sort of a ceasefire agreement. And while I don't try
to use this platform for political sakes, I am going
to get to something. The Ambassador to the United Nations

(04:00):
for Israel, he has repeated several times this that the
people of Israel pray three times a day for peace. Now, okay,
I do understand it that there are a lot of
parallels between Islam and Judaism. I know that it kind

(04:31):
of sounds kind of problematic because people want to think
that Islam is full of terrorists and they want to
destroy our world as we know it. Please remember that

(04:54):
the Muslim people are following a faith that comes from Abraham,
and they are our brothers, our siblings, our sisters through Abraham,
and that as far as God is concerned, all of

(05:15):
humanity we are all linked together through him. So to
say that one group of people is just full of
terrorists and evil people, well that's there is a issue there.

(05:38):
We can't just say that. But going back to the
Ambassador of Israel's statement, I understand that Israel, the people
of Israel, they they unite in prayer three times a
day as per the Jewish traditions. What about the government

(06:08):
of Israel outside of those three times a day? This
is this is this is this is this is it?
Okay that I know that for myself personally, I try
to stay in a state of prayer so that I

(06:30):
am always keeping and maintaining my relationship with God, our
creator throughout my entire day. Hopefully that state of prayer
exists even through my sleep, so that I am spending

(06:52):
my entire my entirety of the rest of my life
from here forward in a state of prayer, so that
I am building my relationship with God, our Creator, God,
our Father, our heavenly Father. Because I want to know
that I'm okay. I want to know that there is

(07:18):
someone there who will catch me when I stumble. I
want to know that I don't have to fear anything
from the terror of the night, nor do I have
to fear anything through the midday. That is why I

(07:48):
want to embody and embrace that love that God offers us,
because it does shield us, it does offer us, hope,
offers us that sense of peace that we want. So
to the government of Israel, are you doing that as

(08:12):
you you are a state that is based on the
Jewish traditions, the Jewish religion? Are you doing that? Are
you you in a state of prayer as you enter
the the the Israeli Parliament, Are you guys in that

(08:32):
state of prayer? Because if you're making decisions out outside
of that, how do you know that you're doing it
with the help of God. Reversely to the to the
Islamic state of of Iran, you all so are based

(09:01):
on that religion that is supposed to preach goodness. It's
supposed to preach peace and love. Are you basing everything
you do every day through your government as a state
of prayer. I know that the people of Iran pray

(09:23):
three times a day, the same at the same time
the Israeli people are praying. I know that you pray
three times a day, that the people pray for the peace.
But what about the rest of the day. If you
are the leaders of a Islamic state, that means that

(09:43):
you should be devout in that faith and trying to
strengthen that relationship that you have with Allah so that
your people are protecting so that they find peace, that

(10:06):
no matter what else happens around them, that peace will
be there. Protection will be there. Do you pray for
that every day, every second that you are in that
public office, because that is the basis of both religions.

(10:33):
Both faith preach that we're supposed to pray like that,
that we should always be in a state of prayer,
that we're always in the presence of God. So my question,
if we are both both sides in that state of

(10:56):
prayer with God's love surrounding us, why are we firing missiles?
Why are we in this? Why are we seen as
being paranoid? One wants to dismantle the state of Israel.
We're not going to get into the political reasons for that.

(11:19):
And the other is trying to eradicate Iran from existence
and sanctioned the people to the point of starvations. If
both sides are supposed to be in a state of prayer,
then God is not speaking through you. If that's what

(11:43):
you're looking for, If you're looking for peace, then God
will speak through you and you will find peace. It
says right here in Psalms. It says that if we

(12:04):
put our refuge in God, if the Lord is my refuge,
and I make the Most High you're dwelling, no harm
will overtake you. No disaster will come near your tent.

(12:33):
That means, if you're dwelling in this in the place
of the Most High, that you are in a state
of prayer, always in a state of prayer, and that
is the reason why no harm is coming near your dwellings. Lord,

(13:00):
help us to keep our relationship strong with you, Help
us to remain within your dwelling so that we stay
in that state of prayer. Building our relationship with you,
building it so that we know peace, we know love,

(13:21):
that we know hope, and that we are able to
help those who are in disaster and help them with
your love and your goodness, we bring them to your dwelling,

(13:45):
a place of safety. Amen,
