Speaker 1 (00:11):
That's right, folks, another episode of the ras Ball Fantasy
Football Podcast. Today, we're breaking down bold predictions for the
fantasy playoffs, potential league winners, and fantasy duds that could
kick you out of your playoffs. All this and more
starting right now in the rasball Fantasy YouTube chat. All right, folks.
(00:38):
Other episode of the ras ball Fantasy Football Podcast. I'm
your host, Bobby Lamarco. Today I am joined by the
one and only Dave Cruz. You can follow them at
Cruiser one twenty eight on Twitter. Dave, what's going on, man?
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah, everything's going good. Dropped an article today here to
talk about a couple of bold predictions and some things
we can do during the fantasy playoffs to maybe help
ourselves along.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, Honestly, today's shows a little have a little fun,
talk a little bit about some of the bold predictions.
Guys that could potentially help you win your league, Guys
that might potentially lose your league. Kind of just kind
of talking playoff fantasy football before we get into it.
How many leagues are you in, Dave? How many leagues
did you make the playoffs in? How is your season
(01:25):
going so far?
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I think my season's been going pretty good. I spun
it out of scott Fish Bowl this week after the
third round of the playoffs. So I believe congratulations You're
still in.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Right yeh yes, sir, represent Matt.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
You and Matt Styles are the last of us remaining.
Just kind of that team kind of started falling apart
late in the year after Week ten. So I'm just
It's a tournament I love being in every year, and
I'm up in a bunch of charity tournaments. I mean,
Warrior Bowl, I was in Pros with Joe's. You know,
(02:05):
it's it's over twenty It's over twenty leagues, you know,
including best ball teams, and it's almost all charity. I've
got a couple of home league teams I'm then, and
both those teams are in the playoffs. I think it's
pretty good, but you know, now it's time to do
real good.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, unfortunately, I so I'm in five money leagues. I
made the playoffs and three of them, and I was
eliminated the last week of the season and two of them.
And last week was a brutal week for decisions. I
sat Tracy for Braylan Allen the last minute and I
(02:45):
ended up failing to make the playoffs. I would have
made the playoffs by point seven points if I played Tracy.
It's set up Braylan Allen. So that one hurts because.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
I'm sure there's a lot of teams that are regretting
starting in week fourteen. But you know what, it sounded
good at the time, right, you know?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
So here So the only true downside of our show
on Sunday Mornings is that we're I'm not as plugged
into what's going on outside of the injuries, and I'm
not on the internet like looking for stuff and trying
to figure out But coach Speak Index did call out
that Davis would be getting a lot more work than
(03:29):
we would think, and so the irony of the situation is,
like I thought Braillen Allen would be a seventy five
percent eighty percent of the touch guy with Breese hall out,
and that's why I swayed towards him versus Tracy, who's
been basically splitting work. And ironically, I just was dead wrong.
The assumption was bad, and Davis and him split work
(03:49):
pretty like. Braylan Allen, for what it's worth, honestly scored
ten Fantasy points in half PPR without a touchdown, like
if he finds the end zone similar to Tracy, it's
a different conversation, right, I mean Tracy got the lucky
one yard, Like they caught the ball on the one
and Tracy got the one yard touchdown, and like that's
the difference. Sometimes in fantasy football, did that one guy
(04:12):
get the opportunity to score a touchdown on the goal
line and unfortunately that never happened with Alan Davis scored
the touchdown. So you know, the decision sucks because like
you know, you know, on the back end, we have
so much data and the data is like you got
to play Tracy and you're just like, you know, but
Sky said on the show, He's like, yeah, but Braylan
Allen's probably gonna be the guy. And at the time
(04:34):
it made sense. So it sucks that it's it's it
sucks that the decision actually kicked me out of the playoffs.
Like very rarely do you make a decision like that,
and it's the reason why you don't make the playoffs.
It is absurd, but it is what it is.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, like you said, you could look inside the same
team to figure out who you should have played between
Braylan Allen and Isaiah Davis, because, like you said, Davis
had a touchdown that would have probably given you your
margin as well. Yeah, one I should have for me,
I should have listened to Matt Styles on more of
my teams where I had Adam Feeling, right, that's been
(05:16):
funding for the last couple of weeks, and his waiver
call him to go get Adam Feeling. I have him
on some of my teams, but he was on the
bench in a couple of my on a couple of
my teams where I quote unquote had better guys, guys
I liked more, and he had a huge game against Philadelphia,
And I gotta tell you, yet, it's funny. I've got
(05:39):
to think Cowboy fans have got to be smarting a
little bit right now, being underdogs to the Carolina Anths,
you know.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
But like, honestly, though, if you look at the numbers,
sitting at them feeling against the Eagles is not a
bad move, Like, there's nothing in that that Like It's
not like Adam Feelin had this amazing and he just
he had a big game. Like the Eagles have been
shutting down wide receivers for like pretty much all season,
and so it's just the fact that like sometimes like
(06:12):
Bryce Bryce Young, last year, his guy was Adam Feeling,
and Bryce Young has leveled up, Like it's clear in
the last month that Bryce Young is a different player.
Now he's actually competent, And now Adam Feelin is playing
with a more competent QB who, by the way, he
was a top twenty four wide receiver last year with
(06:33):
a guy who wasn't that good, And so I think
that makes it Yeah, go ahead, no, just no, what
I'm saying is like that in reality, it's like Adam
Feeling is his guy, that's where he looks to on
the field, and the Eagles offense put up enough points
to force Bryce Young to throw enough and it worked out.
(06:54):
But like, if you look at the stats of the
last month, it's not like there was a bunch of
wide receivers that were just dominating the Eagles. So I
can't really shame you for sitting him for a guy
who might had a more fantasy points throughout the season
and or a better matchup.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
So yeah, yeah, But the thing another thing with Feeling
is that's a guy that's tended to wear down in
the second half of the season. This year, he missed
a whole bunch of games, and he doesn't have that
mileage on his legs this year, so he's coming back
and he's fresh going into the fantasy playoffs. This is
(07:28):
a guy you haven't been able to rely on too
much in the last few years.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, I mean, Ceedee Lamb had six catches for twenty
one yards against the Eagles. So it's like, you know,
I mean, like I I listen, I get it, it sucks,
but like you know, trace, Yeah, it's just I will
say this. My biggest takeaway from pre Fantasy playoffs is
that like, just take all the deity again, you know,
(07:55):
come to the analysis, trust your resources, whatever, but go
down with the guys that you believe in because if
you by the way, if you're wrong, you can live
with the fact that, like, hey, you can identify, Okay,
what was that wrong about? Okay? Was the data points
I was using wrong? Did I just have like a
(08:16):
wrong narrative? Did something fluky happened? Like sometimes shit happens,
like by the way, I had Zach Charbonet, I didn't
start Zach Sharboney listen. Two weeks earlier, the Seahawks combined
for fourteen fantasy points against the Cardinals as a duo. Yeah,
and then he goes bananas the next in two weeks
later with Alt Walker, Like Charbone was the right pick
(08:40):
if I had him on my bench, but like I was, like,
you know, the Cardinals have been very good this season,
and then all of a sudden, the Cardinals defense was awful,
Like yeah, it made no sense, Like, yeah, they have.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Been dominating at home too. Yeah, I kind of I
kind of thought, well why not, why not today? And
then the Seahawks walked in there and just walked all
over Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
I mean, it's just like in PPR Aaron Jones eleven,
Walker thirteen, Breese Hall twelve, Swift fourteen, Like there really is.
He had to go all the way back to Devin
and Chain who had a big game against them. But
it's not like it's not Breese Hall, DeAndre Swift, Kenneth Walker,
and Aaron Jones didn't even get you fifteen PPR points.
(09:26):
So it's like it's hard, That's what I mean. Like
in the grand scheme of things, you're probably lucky to
be in sixty to seventy percent right on this stuff,
like we can do all we could, but it's.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
It's like you say, you know, I mean I kind
of said it empirically about Adam Fiel and who I
should have started him over somebody else. But you're right,
most of the time I would make the same call
because I just, you know, I think I know enough
where I make enough right decisions that I do pretty
well at this. And yeah, always going to be a
(10:00):
time where you've got a guy that just goes nuts
in a particular week that you weren't expecting. You know,
you can bring your hands about it all you want,
but you know it happens, right, so you just put
it aside and move on.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Yeah, Jamie's on the show, Jami's always play. Jamie had
Brailan Allen and the Davis split. He was he was
on charp. You know that's good for you. Man. Honestly,
I hope it's I hope it's in writing. I hope
it's on video, my friend, you know what I mean.
And by the way, you're on the Sunday Live Show.
You should have said something, man like what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Yeah, but next time just enter the stream yard kick
me off because you're better.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Yeah, man, I mean, you know, it's a it's a
tough it's a tough, tough break. I honestly like I
gotta say, like it's one of my friend leagues, so
like it's just the buddies, and like being like fit,
Like missing the playoffs is just so annoying because like
the team is loaded and I just made the wrong decision,
(11:04):
and I'm like, I'm a I'm like the I'm like
a Bill Belichick. I'm like, i am a great I'm
the opposite of Bill Bell. I'm like the bizarro Bill
Belichick where I'm a great GM terrible head coach Bell.
I need a Belichick to help me with my teams
because I've just I mean, what I tell you, if
if it's a coin flip, I'm probably gonna be wrong
all the time. It's it's been right. But you know,
(11:25):
there was a couple of good moves, like the forty
nine ers bounce back that I was high on. I
knew Grendo, I called Jennings. I was excited about those guys,
Like those things are it all balances out?
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Like you were, well, you were all over the forty
nine Ers on Sunday, so cheers to that, man. I
was kind of I was kind of down. I mean,
I started Grenda where I had them. Yeah, you know,
Jennings where I had them, but my expectations weren't real great,
you know, so you know I was I was surprised pleasantly.
(11:56):
And you know it's a case of where guys like
that he got them, they're better than most of the
guys you're gonna find on waivers, right, yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah, it's yeah, it's a system.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
And Jamie, we're only teasing you, buddy. We believe you
when you believe what you're telling us.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
And I would say, like, you know, the forty nine
ers thing too, and like Patrick Taylor is now potentially
going to be another guy who's going to get the start.
It's a Shanahan scheme thing. Like I mean, Kyle, like
they his dad for for the longest time was taking
seventh round running backs and turning him into stars. Like
(12:37):
there's just something about they identify these undrafted Day three picks,
undrafted guys who fit their system, and so like that's
why I have faith. By the way, Isaiah Grendo, if
you look at his combine numbers, is an absolute sparkscore freak.
Like he is an absolute freak when it comes to
forty yards he they compared him to Elijah Mitchell. When
(12:58):
I was like researching all that stuff, I'm like, all right,
I'm in like this is those quick backs. By the way,
they never can stay healthy. I mean shit like Matt
Brada to Rae Boaster to you know, Elijah Mitchell, Like,
none of them can stay healthy. But the point is
the system fits very well. So I think if you've
got Taylor like, he's probably gonna be a top twenty
(13:19):
four guy easily in this matchup. The Rams forty nine
Ers game is setting up to be a high scoring game.
Both teams need to win, and they both play each
other pretty well. And so, uh, you know, weather permitting, obviously,
I know there is some news that may be some
rain there and all that, but from what I've seen,
it's not going to be during game time at least.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
And even if it is, it's not going to be heavy, right, Okay, yeah,
you know. And the funny thing is I don't see
him playing, but they haven't ruled out for Endom yet.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
He's question yeah right right, yeah, true, yeah, and so
but yeah, we're gonna So today's show really is get
into all the bold predictions basically for fantasy playoffs, just
some fun things that we think could happen. And before
we get into that, but make sure if you haven't
checked out the channel before, make sure you jump over
to rasball dot com. We are doing a bunch of
(14:13):
fun stuff on there. Guys are writing great articles. We
also have a lot of fun tools that are free,
including this slot first wide points per game allowed tool
and also we have Fantasy points by defense. By the way,
mean targets by defense. We have basically figured out how
many targets the defense allow us by position. I have
a lot of underrated tools that can help you kind
of find your help you with that last flex spot,
(14:36):
So go check those out on rass ball and make
sure you sign up for the rasball Fantasy YouTube channel.
We're doing a lot of fun stuff, especially on Sunday.
We're live for two hours before kickoff to break down
all your start sit questions. We also do weather updates,
injury updates, everything you need to know up until kickoffs.
Are really fun shows. Who join us, But today we're
gonna go bold predictions folks now a lot of this stuff. Hey,
(14:57):
you know what, we're swinging from the hip, having a
little fun. Dave I brought you on the show today.
Give me one of your bold predictions for the Fantasy playoffs,
league winner, potential bust. What do you got for us?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Yeah, well, I look and I see a guy that's
still rostered in like over ninety percent of leagues that
stopped being useful weeks ago, and that's c J. Stroud.
I've alluded to him a couple of times on some
of our other shows, and I at this point, I'm
(15:30):
I just even in one quarterback leads, I'd drop them,
you know, I'd drop them and I'd pick up Jameis Winston.
They've got they've got based, They've got basically the same
schedule coming up, just in different weeks. Houston has Miami,
(15:52):
Kansas City and Baltimore, and Cleveland has Kansas City, Cincinnati
and Miami. But since Week six, CJ. Stroud's is only
averaging two hundred and twenty yards a game passing. He's
got five touchdowns and five interceptions. That's that's six games.
(16:14):
He added one hundred and twenty four rushing yards for
a little bit of a boost, but that's just not
a knot Jamis. Since he's been the starter in since
he was named the starter, in Week eight, He's been
averaging three hundred and fifteen yards a game. He's got
twelve touchdowns and nine interceptions. He's got eighty four rushing
(16:35):
yards and a touchdown that cute little flip over he
did in the snow in Pittsburgh. You know, the thing
is right now, CJ. Stroud just does not have a ceiling,
and even the floor's not that great. Jamis has a ceiling.
He's got a little bit of a scary floor. But
usually Cleveland's a kind of a team that plays from
(16:59):
behind a lot, so there's a lot of garbage time,
garbage time chances for Jamis to pat his total. It's
exactly kind of what I want. So if I put
all my my my money behind Stroud for the season,
(17:21):
I would I'd made the switch. Jamis Winston's still widely
available in one quarterback.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Yeah, you know it's funny. And by the way, we
didn't exchange our bold predictions before the show. My bold
prediction is no risk and no biscuit. Jamis will with you. You're
Fantasy League, So yeah, man, I actually be the exact
thing you just said. I did. In my main league,
I dropped Stroud and picked up Jameis Winston now granted
(17:51):
quick prop quiz where I got a tough one? I
got Justin Herbert against Tampa at home or Jameis Winston
at home versus Kansas City. Right now, I'm leading Justin
Herbert as long as Lad is healthy and playing. What's
your thoughts there? Are you going Jamis versus the Chiefs
or Justin Herbert against Tampa.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
I've really cooled on the Chargers offense. I mean, Herbert's
really cooled off over the last few games. It's kind
of like he's reverted back to the guy he was
in the first few weeks of the season. And I
don't blame that at all on Justin Herbert. It's just
the way the Chargers have been playing. They've been They've
been kind of conservative and more concerned with staying in
(18:34):
games rather than putting the pedal down and putting some
points on the board. I do like the matchup against Tampa,
but I probably am going to take Jamis against Kansas City.
You know, it's funny that the Chiefs have been one
of those teams and Matt will tell you that their
(18:56):
Lildaukei's team that ever lived. But to me, it's a
team that kind of rises or lowers themselves to the
occasion every game seems to be like a shootout, even
against some of the worst teams in the league, like
Carolina and Las Vegas. But they they always find a
(19:19):
way to win. And the last thing you want to
do is give the Chiefs ball last. Give the ball
to the Chiefs on the last possession of the game.
The Raiders had the perfect game script. They kept them close,
they had the ball at the end of the game,
and then they just threw it away. They should have
won that game. But you know, I mean it's a
(19:41):
case of where I think Cleveland can put up some
points in that game, because I'm pretty sure Kansas City.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
You know. So here's the thing that I've not noticed
mostly with Justin Herbert, Like you said, twenty three to
thirty pass attempts the last weeks and Atlanta was a
really bad game. Because the problem is they're winning football
game seventeen thirteen and then they lost seventeen nineteen to
(20:10):
the Chiefs because their defense is good. Yeah, and honestly
that but there is the upside is when they face
a good offense that's rolling, for example, like Cincinnati. Yeah,
In that game, he went for almost three hundred yards,
two touchdowns, and rushed for sixty five yards. So the
question is because they're at home, like Baker Mayfield and
(20:33):
Tampa just seems like the kind of matchup where it's
very conducive for a high upside game.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Yeah. So at the end of the day, Baker, to me,
isn't that much different than Jameis Winz. I mean, he
puts up he puts up points, he puts up touchdowns,
but he turns the ball over, right, So you know,
Tampa's an entertaining team. Cleveland's an entertaining team, you know.
(21:00):
But you know, I wouldn't blame you for putting it
on Justin Herbert against the high powered offense. But that team,
the Chargers like it. Like you said, they've been winning
with defense. That game in Atlanta was just it was ghastly.
It was a terrible game, and the Chargers won that
(21:23):
game with their defense.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
The thing that bugs me out about the whole the narrative, right, So,
like Justin Herbert was an absolute dud, And the next
week you have the Sam Donald game, Yeah, where Donald
goes bananas against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons offense does
enough to force the game flow. And the weirdest part
(21:46):
is Atlanta was on the road, yeah, against the fight Gigs.
They were home against the Chargers. Like this is what
I mean about prepping an analysis at thinking of it
and getting all the information, Like are you kidding me?
Like why is Sam Donald winning fantasy leagues against this
Falcons team a week after justin Herbert was an absolute dud.
(22:07):
It's just like you know, and listen, the Vikings defense
is not it's not like bad, It's not like significantly
worse than the Chargers d but man, it's just like
so frustrating sometimes. But anyway, just want to talk quickly
about jamis why he's a league winner. Yes, the Chiefs.
By the way, he plays two games at home, so
this is weather permitting as long as there's good enough
(22:29):
weather in Cleveland. And by the way, this could this
is a huge factor because Cleveland is a wildcard, just
like Buffalo is a wildcard. Like this weather could be
absolutely atrocious and there's already some weather concerns for Sunday,
so this is all caveat. By the way, this is
why you join us on our Sunday show because that's
when we have all the weather, that's when we know
(22:50):
all the injuries. That's when we have the most information.
But I will say this, the Chiefs, when you look
at them from a defensive standpoint, gets the pass their
middle of the pack, and over the last five weeks
their fourteenth in passing yards, sixteenth in passing touchdowns per game,
and then they're seventeenth in DVOA, which is their success
rate on defense. So that's a good matchup. Plus you
(23:10):
have Patrick Mahomes. You know they're trying to find themselves
a little bit. But then the the Browns defense has
really struggled, especially through the air, so that's a factor.
Week sixteen, you have the Bengals. That game could be
an absolute shootout. Like the Bengals are the best team
to stack your de your offense against, and I think
(23:30):
that game could be a lot of fun in Cincinnati,
another weather game.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
The last week, they made Cooper Rush look competent.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Yeah, Cooper Rush, baby, uh shout out honestly, like Cooper ruh,
you whatever you want to say about Cooper Rush, Like
he definitely is competent. Like he isn't a terrible quarterback.
He just has so risk averse. He does not challenge
it the one throw he made the CD Lamber for
the touchd You're like, all right, cool, he threw the
ball beyond ten yards like he always is quick, which
(24:01):
is great, but defenses are realizing it. And I think
one of the benefits the Lamb looks like Lamb's eight
out went up this week. When you're watching that Cooper
rush game. He gets the ball out quick, which is nice,
but like when the defense has started pressing up a
little bit, the problem is that you're not getting you're
not getting too many first downs, you're getting a lot,
you're getting off the field, you're not scoring in the
(24:21):
red zone. But when he started pushing the ball downfield more,
I think a lot of that's to do with the
fact that they're running the ball finally well with ric
o' daddle and so it's taking some pressure off the
passing game. And then but he needs to be more aggressive,
like Dak's too aggressive. Sometimes he needs to be a
little more aggressive, and I think we're kind of seeing
(24:42):
a little bit of that this week against Cincinnati. But
now he's gonna have to go to Carolina, so I'm
interested that.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
But anyway, Yeah, and the thing with CD in that
game is he disappeared after the first quarter. He had
like when he had that touchdown, he had like four
receptions for seven eight yards. What do you wind up
with five five receptions, six.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Receptions for fantasy purposes, he got it done. The last
week is kind of interesting because they do have the Dolphins.
And the Dolphins, if you're looking at them from a
fantasy standpoint, you know their fifth and passing yards over
the last five weeks per game, twenty third in passing touchdowns.
But Miami offensively does not travel well on the road,
(25:26):
especially in cold weather and or I should say specifically
in cold bad weather. And that Cleveland Week seventeen game
could be anything. And so that's the one where I
get a little concerned about Jamis the most because Miami's
offense could could be inept, at least in the passing game.
(25:46):
And now you're kind of getting to a point where
that game could be bad. So to be determined. But overall,
Jamis is the is we saw this last year with Flacco.
Flacco was playing extremely well down the stretch. They have
all the weapons. Cedric Tillman, by the way, should be back.
That's another weapon for Jamis. He's got a strong three
receiver set in the DJOKU. He's got Nick Chubb and
(26:06):
Jared Jerome Ford a really good offensive line. So as
long weathers permits, I really like Jamis for the fantasy playoffs.
What's your next one? Well, you got another bold prediction.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
For us I do as it involves the Pittsburgh Steelers.
And first of all, there's there's some hemming and hawing
over George Pickens like he's gonna be, you know, a
game time decision this week. They they revealed that he's
got a Grade two hamstring string that isn't nothing. I'm
(26:39):
expecting him to be out at least this week again,
and who knows, maybe he doesn't come back, and let's
say he's out. If he's out, I gotta tell you,
I really really like Patrick Pat Fryarmuth in that situation.
If Pickens is out, I think I think friar Mouth
could be a low end tight end one for the
(27:01):
fantasy playoffs. I mean, they've got they've got a bit
of a tough matchup this week with Philadelphia, but then
they're at Baltimore and then they have Kansas City and
you know, in his last three games, Pat Fryarmouth has
had fourteen targets, thirteen receptions, one hundred and seventy five
(27:23):
yards and two touchdowns. You know, that's good for forty
one and a half PPR points and it's a it's
up around, you know, pretty close to fourteen points a game.
And you know what if I if I got a
tight end, if I don't have a you know, one
of the top four or five tight ends, fourteen thirteen,
(27:44):
fourteen points a game is gravy, you know from my roster.
By ye, I don't know if you're on mute, but I.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Can't am.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
You.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Everything's it's I just become muted. It's fine, it's probably
for the best. But what I was gonna say is
you are I don't know if you're in my head,
but like I in my maining league that I I have.
I picked up Pat Firemth at Jamis Winston put him
on my bench, and so I'm excited forever that you're
saying if I don't want them to be bold though,
I want them to be normal predictions. Uh, but Pat Firemth,
(28:22):
I love that. That's a that's a fun call. And
by the way, we talked about Firemuth in the tight
End Streamers show as well. So there was a playoff
preview we did. We talked a lot about that. Yeah,
and I am a little concerned because he didn't they
didn't like last week. It's he doesn't seem to be
a volume guy. And and so I understand Pickens was
(28:46):
out last week and he really didn't do like he
had three k He found the am zone great, but
he only had three catches. Yeah, and so I don't know,
And listen a couple of weeks prior against the Ravens,
he didn't play that well. And you're thinking, like the
Steelers Ravens are always like those AFC North games just
(29:08):
always end up being like well, specifically with the Steelers,
they always end up being like grinded out, low scoring.
But the law of average says that Patrick pat Fireman
should have a better game against the Ravens because the
Ravens are a good matchup for tight ends. So yeah,
I'm not against it.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
No, you know, you start thinking about it, and I
think if you, if you dig in a little bit,
once you get past like tight end maybe seven or eight,
the guys that are out there are they're really not
volume guys. You know, so you're basically looking about looking
(29:47):
at guys that can get into the end zone. And
if Russell Wilson starts looking for Pat Fryarmouth in the
end zone, I'll take that all day. The best thing
you can get from a tight end to me in
fantasy is at touch. You know, there's not too many.
There's not too many volume tight ends out there. Even
look at Hawkins in the last few weeks, he hasn't
(30:08):
been a volume again.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
You know, I struggle with this with Tucker Craft, Like
Tucker Craft always seems like his floor was zero against
Chicago a couple of weeks ago, and you're like, oh, geez,
like I honestly can't, but he always like somehow finds
his way to with the end zone and or you know,
like he's just there's not a lot of volume tight ends.
I get that. You always gotta understand, like to be
(30:31):
honest with you, like the tight end landscape. Sometimes I
just want to know my guy's going to get me
like three for forty yards no matter what, and then
his upside is But like the zero's always like stressed
me out because like Tucker Craft against Chicago, like Chicago's
defense against that was the week Like Jordan Love threw
the ball like twenty times, so it's not like there
(30:52):
was a reason for it. But anyway, sure, I love
the call.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
And then to me, it becomes a question like you
want ceiling or do you want floor? Because if you're
risk averse, then I would recommend a guy like Hunter Henry.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Right.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
You know, Hunter Henry's gonna get gonna get plenty of targets.
He's always gonna get you five, six, seven points a
game and sometimes even more. The last few games he's
been averaging close to ten points. You've been averaging close
to ten points per game. But the fact of the
matter is that's that's pretty much what Hunter Henry is.
(31:28):
He's not gonna get you. He's not gonna break loose
for a twenty point game. He might break loose for
a fourteen point So yeah, if you if you just
want to floor tight end, then I would say Hunter
Henry's probably a better call them pat front.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
All right, My last one is your Fantasy championships will
be signed sincerely with sincere McCormick. Folks. That's right, all right,
Uh so McCormick. Good news is that it sounds like
eight and O'Connell might be okay, but before we even
(32:06):
panic about Desmond Ridder, we have to give us the
fact that, like listen, for whatever it's worth, last season,
the Falcons running backs put up plenty of fantasy points. Bijeon, Tyler,
Algier and Ritter was their starter and Ridder offers some mobility,
so there might be something there too. But I will
say this, the biggest thing for me is north Turner
(32:27):
and Scott Turner, like the change. I don't know why
when you had Scott Turner there with the option of
bringing in north Turner to help him with the offense,
why they didn't just go that route in the beginning
Because Scott Turner. North Turner has been an OC for
a long time, a good OC. His son has been okay,
he had some decent stuff with the Washington Commanders. But
(32:49):
at the same time, whatever the hell that was with
the came the Bears.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
At the beginning of the year. The OC was Luke Getz.
Luke gets yeah, yeah, so you probably you probably don't
want to hire old Bears offensive coordinators.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
No, well, I mean the funny part is like there
was a joke going around about like how the perfect
OC a perfect head coach for the Bears would be
Matt Naggi because of what he's done with Patrick Mahomes
and his ties to Ryan Poles. And I'm like laughing
at myself, like you know, talk about like the most
(33:31):
if just Doug Peterson, like all the Andy Reid coordinators
on the offensive side, just like Andy Reid's the genius.
His tree probably doesn't mean as much as as recently. So,
but the reason why I like McCormick is number one.
I think Scott Turner and North Turner have really made
this offense much more stable and competent, especially in the
(33:54):
grunt run game. And McCormick hasn't faced He faced the
Chiefs and the Bucks, and listen, the Bucks run defense
is still okay, still solid. You beat the Bucks through
the air. The Chiefs had one of the better run
defenses in football, and he's run the ball extremely well
against those two defenses. And then you look at his matchups. Right, So,
(34:16):
what I've always preached, one of my favorite metrics for
running backs is adjusted lineyards. Adjusted lineyards essentially just means
how much push an offensive line gets first the defensive line,
and so adjusted lineyards is a really good way of
looking at how good the defensive line is at holding
the line. Think about this, if a defense, if an
offense gets four yards of push, that's four yards before contact,
(34:38):
essentially before a guy hits a running back, that's good
for yards per carry. His matchups all in the playoffs
are in the top ten. So the Falcons are ninth,
and adjusted line yards allowed Jaguars are eighth, and then
the Saints are second. So right there alone, you gotta
love that he's got three top ten matches where his
(34:58):
offensive line could get him enough to run. The other
aspect of this, too, is just pure fantasy points. I
know the Falcons haven't are actually when you look at
their numbers as a whole against running backs are actually
pretty good. But if you dive into it, they've allowed
a running back to score fifteen PPR points in nine
of thirteen games this season. Then you dive into the
(35:20):
Jags their fifth most fantasy points allowed to running backs.
Then you dive into the Saints' eleventh most fantasy points
allowed over the last five weeks. So if you're looking
at like this, the most recent stuff, like the matchups
are there. By the way, all three of those offenses
are struggling enough to where there's not going to be
any worry that Sincere McCormick, who, by the way, last
(35:42):
week was basically used like a bell cow but a
mirror abdula is technically or Alexander Masson would be the
past catching back in most cases. Honestly, the Falcons, Jags
and the Saints, and the Falcons are at home, Jags
are at home, Saints on the road. I'm not scared
off that any of those other offenses are going to
go completely nuclear against the Raiders. So I think since
(36:02):
here McCormick could be someone that you put in as
your RB two and get you a very high floor,
solid production down the stretch, and he can help you
win your fantasy leagues, especially if you've been kind of
floating around streaming running backs dealing with injuries throughout the year.
So I really like Seer McCormick. What's your thoughts to day?
Speaker 2 (36:20):
Yeah, if you're right, then one of my I'm gonna
win some money in one of my few remaining private
money leagues. I don't need the coach speak index to
know that Antonio Pierce loves Sincere mccorm he doesn't. He
doesn't try to hide it. He doesn't play cage. Basically,
(36:40):
when he was talking either yesterday or today about Alexander
Madison coming back, he's going since sum McCormick's going to
be my running back one, right, So you know what
that means to me is Okay, Well, he's got he's
got a a he's got a solid flour. He doesn't
(37:01):
have a great ceiling because he's probably not going to
be real, real involved in the passing game. You know,
I would expect if Madison's healthy, he's probably going to
get that work like he was at the beginning of
the season when they were trying to run through Samir White.
But no, I think sincere McCormick has got Definitely he's got.
(37:22):
If you're hurting it running back, he's still out there, right,
pick him up. You know, he's at least a good flaps. Well.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
The other thing I'll say too, is this is exactly
what happened with Samir White last year.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
Yeah, like Zamir.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
White, and by the way they brought in Alexander Madison,
they want him to be the third down guy. Early
on in the season, it was supposed to be White
as the main belcal w Madison on third downs is
the passing game back. But White just hasn't looked good. Hey, listen,
maybe it was the scheme change to Luke Getzi. I'm
not sure, but he really struggled early on in the
(37:58):
season since McCormick under Scott Turner, by the way, and listen,
North Turner was if you think old school cowboys in
the nineties, like Emmett Smith, he rides a bell cow.
They love belcows. North Turner.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Uh. Yeah. Danian Tomlinson he was the head coach of
Washington and he did the same thing there, right.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
Yeah, decades, decades even like like when you're looking at it,
like from his time with the Chargers, it was the
Danian Thomason. He was the Danian Tomlinson's head coach for
a few years. They had some big time seasons, you know. Yeah,
So it's just this is a guy that and his
son too. By the way, they they were with Minnesota
(38:41):
with Dalvin Cook.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (38:43):
They also had ap for a few years too. I
think there was some overlap there, but they had Dalvin
Cook for a few years as well. Belkows. So they're
gonna ride sincere McCormick, and I think that's a really
but I just really like North Turner and Scott Turner,
and honestly, I think they messed up. They should have
just did that from the beginning. I don't know what
(39:03):
Luke Getzy did. If you watch the Bears last year,
there was nothing lou Getzy was doing that got me
excited to bring him over. I don't understand the move
at all, but whatever to each its own. Honestly, Antonio Pears,
I love him from the Giants standpoint. He's my boy,
He's awesome, But like, that was a weird move, especially
for him. But I love that they corrected it and
(39:26):
they got no returning and hopefully they could get keep
these guys because I think that there's something going on
here and their defense has figured it out too, So
there's the Raiders could be especially with their opponents. It's
going to fit perfectly for what sincere McCormick to get
him close to twenty touches, like they can easily get
there against the Falcon, Shags and Saints. Like I'm not
stressed about playing the Chiefs in these high scoring offenses,
(39:47):
which by the way, they just held them down, and
even the Bucks like they held those good offenses down
to an extent. So I think I think Sinceer McCormick's
going to be a solid like RB two flex down
the street, do you.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Have, he's exactly what they need on offense, a guy
that can can ground the ball and you know, keep
these high scoring teams off the board. And like you said,
Atlanta and the and the rest of their schedule aren't
aren't Tampa Bay in Kansas City? Right?
Speaker 1 (40:19):
So game and by the way, two of those are
at home, and so there's a real opportunity for them
to have leagues in some of these games. So that's
really the recipe for success for him. But he's also
looked insanely good. Like that's the crazy part. And like
when you move from from Luke Getsy to Scott Turner,
they're gonna have different philosophies. Scott Turner and Luke Getsy
(40:41):
were not a part of the same coaching tree. Like
it wasn't like Luke Luke Getsey comes from the Packers,
you know, he was there with Mike McCarthy for a
long time. Uh And Scott Turner of courses with his
dad forever Minnesota, like completely different styles of offense. So honestly,
I do think that there was a definitely a philosophy
change when they moved to Scott Turner, and so honestly,
(41:04):
like just watching him run five yards he said, five
yards with per carry in every game he's played in
the last three weeks. Granted the first one was six
carries or five carries, but fifteen carries for seventy eight
yards against Tampa, twelve for sixty four against the Kansas
City Chiefs, and that's no easy feat. These are decent
run defenses. So listen, I'm in. I'm excited to not
(41:26):
play him this week because I dope I have to
play Pachecko. But like, honestly, like everything in my bones
is telling me that, like Pachecko's probably not and for
a big game against the Browns on the road. But
I can't sit. I can't Pachecko. I gotta give the
guy some love.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
I can't.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
I gotta give it to him. He's going in. I
picked him over Barkley, so I have he has to
do it for me. The worst call ever, the Barkley call,
not being all in on Barkley this year. It was
the worst call you could ever make. Granted, the entire
reasons why are actually correct. He's outside the top twenty
(42:06):
running backs and targets, and he doesn't get goal line carries.
It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. It's crazy, how not
getting goal line touches and scoring goal line touchdowns. Yeah,
and then not catching many passes.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
Well for guy, for a guy like Barkley, the goal
line starts at the opponents. Yeah, starts at your own
twenty yard line.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
Mm hmm yeah, yeah, thirty, he's got thirty eight targets.
He's twenty first amongst running backs in targets this year. Like,
it's absolutely it is crazy. How Like when I was
doing the pregame and stuff for him, I said, the
where Barkley wins is in the receiving game. He's not
going to get that. Then you take away goal line,
I'm like, all right, you know he's probably gonna be
(42:51):
a James Cook type where great, great player, efficient, doesn't
get like the opportunities he really should get. But man
like he is, just it doesn't matter. Like it's wild.
It's a wild thing to watch.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
But yeah, well you give him, you give him a team,
and you give him a decent line, and look what happens.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
I know, thank you for putting that out and by
the way, by the way, honestly, I'm like the maybe
one of the few Giants fans where I feel like
I'm okay with Barkley leaving. We needed to bottom out.
God bless him, go be great with the Eagles. I
have no problem with it at all. And honestly, Tyrone
Tracy's awesome. So I'm okay with taking the fifth round
pick on Tracy and pending like a couple hundred thousand
(43:31):
on our running back position while we've rebuilt. Because, by
the way, we had Barkley for like five years. He
played five seasons for US six technically, but he was
injured for one. We were never good except for one season,
so on average, we won like four to six games
with Barkley, So I'm glad we're winning two without him
because it's time we bought about anyway. But I digress.
(43:52):
Do you have any more bold predictions before we close
up the show?
Speaker 2 (43:56):
No, pretty much only I only got two together.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
All right, That's fine. That was that was the directions.
I wanted to make sure that you you didn't have
anything bruin back there. You know what I mean. We're
talking ball right now, and next thing, you know, you're
just listen, you're trying to take mine. So technically you
owe me one because you took James from me. But yeah,
we both were both excited about James.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
We're both we're both on Jamis. I think we're both
on friar move, even though we we didn't both put
together a profile. And I like McCormick too. Got a
really good, a really good bol prediction. Nice.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
All right, We've got a couple of questions Tyler, by
the way, appreciate the patience my friend this week. Tyler
last week really went all in. He wanted his question answered,
and God dang it, he got it. And that's why
we love you, Tyler, for things were coming back, buddy.
So we got Kate on Tampa Bay. Bucks this week
are on my schedule. Grid up. Let me just pull
(44:58):
it up real quick. Yuba Bay's got the Chargers on
the road. Hockinson in Minnesota has Seattle on the road.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Thoughts, I'm probably going with I'm probably going with Hockinson
this week. Overall. I still kind of like Oughten a
little bit better. I think he's I just haven't seen
Hawkinson on the field enough. And now that Josh Oliver's back.
(45:27):
I'm not sure. I'm not sure they're not going to
kind of lean a little bit more on Josh Oliver
until Hawkinson gets his legs back under him. It's kind
of like with Pachaco in Kansas City, right. I think
these are playoff bound teams that would love to have
their studs healthy for January, and if they've got to
(45:48):
give him a little bit of a breather during the Cember,
they were willing to do it.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
Yeah, I'm gonna lean Hockinson at home versus Kada and
on the road. And by the way, I actually just
fun just was curious. I want to look at the matchup.
Does lean Hockinson anyway? But I don't know if Auten
has any like home road split thing. Let me just
pull it up, by the way, if you haven't checked
it out on raspball dot com, we have a home
road split tool which is fantastic and fun. If you're
(46:14):
ever curious if a player plays better at home versus
on the road, it is a great tool. Both guys
are neutral, it doesn't matter, so that doesn't matter either.
But I'm gonna lean Hockinson just I think a little
bit because of the Chicago Bears post Matt Eberflus has
become a little bit of a funner, a better matchup
this overall, a little more shootout potential. So I like that.
(46:35):
So I'm gonna lean Hockinson at home in that one.
Jamis lost me one of my leagues. Listen, Jamis poor
went out on the road against Pittsburgh. I honestly wasn't
overly excited for Jamis, to be honest with you, I
actually but like Jamis, you just it's a It's like
(46:58):
you gotta just go with the flow with James, like
you know, away against Pittsburgh, scary, away against the Bengals,
up thinking a lot of fun. But it's just like
you just got He's just a vibe. I gotta go
with the epic fail.
Speaker 2 (47:12):
It wasn't on you, buddy, if it was, if it was,
if it was this past week. I'm curious in more
context because Jameis Winston didn't have one of his ceiling games,
but he didn't have a terrible game. I mean, he
got you almost twenty points in a six point quarterback
passing touchdown league. So I'm kind of curious as to
(47:34):
how he he cost you your matchup.
Speaker 1 (47:38):
Well, QB eleven in fantasy point scoring based on your format,
so he's still top twelve. It might have been like
sitting like a party type for him or something or Donald.
That's tough if you said Donald or Purdy for him.
But to be honest with you, he gave you good numbers.
So you can't blame James. No, I know, I'll turn
it on an epic fail. You don't blame Jamis is
(47:59):
the He's a sweet angel. It's not his fault. Can
give you top twelve numbers. Come on, leave alone.
Speaker 2 (48:04):
You came to the wrong point. We're both wearing iHeart
Janius t shirts here.
Speaker 1 (48:11):
So we were all at on Flacco last year, Dave
this year, we're all Javis baby. Anybody but Jehan Watson
at quarterback in Cleveland. We're all in baby. We love Ersaga,
but epic fail. We want you to give him a
second chance. We expect as long as weather permits this
weekend and in week sixteen, Jamis is going to be
a lot of fun to ride to the championship.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
All Right, we love a failed too. He's one of
our bros.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
Honestly, I thought I wanted him to change his name
to Epic Success. Because that's how much we love him.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (48:40):
No longer a failure here at all. Magic.
Speaker 2 (48:44):
We don't think you're a failure.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
No, not at all, mister Magic, always bringing that that touch,
you know what I mean? Like you know now you
see him now you don't We love it, baby, He's
all right here for us. How good should I feel
going into the playoffs with Jamar, Puka, jays N, and McBride. Listen,
mister Magic, you just got that magic in that lineup, baby,
just enjoy yourself.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Like that looks like a humble brag to me.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
No, not at all, not at all. That looks like
just a normal call out my fantasy team for being
a little bit concerned.
Speaker 2 (49:13):
I'm a little bit out of all those guys. I'm
a little concerned on JSM this week, and I think
I think it might be a little bit of a
tough matchup against Bay Green Bay has been pretty good
against slap Yeah.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
Uh, you know It's it's unfortunate because I Debo has
been so bad. But like Debo this week for me
is someone where I have him in a lot of leagues.
I don't need him. I'm starting guys like JSN over him.
But like, I just something tells me it's a debo week.
(49:49):
And I was actually debating sitting jas N because of
the matchup versus for for debo. But like, man, it's tough,
Like it's just sometimes you gotta roll with the guys
that are playing well. Uh. And but at the same time,
like Deebo the last two Healthy games, I sent out
a tweet earlier, Like the last two games he's faced
(50:11):
like the Rams Healthy, he's completely dominated. The Rams are
our yards after the catch defense, they allow a lot
of yak. That's where Deebo gets his calling. Deebo just
there's a lot of things going on right now with Deebo.
You got George Kittle saying he's still our guy. Sometimes
it's just like a narrative thing. And that Rams forty
nine Ers game could be a lot of fun.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
So and and I'll I'll get I'll pour one out
for debo, not going aj Brown on the forty nine
Ers saying you know why am I I'm not getting
the ball?
Speaker 1 (50:40):
Yeah? Yeah, it's you know, the problem is you just
won the game and Kittle and Jennings played very well.
It's hard like in the in the Philadelphia thing the
offense that the passing offense really struggled, and you look
at the underlying stats, there wasn't like Jalen Hurts wasn't
dominating the ball like Brock Purty look the best he's
(51:01):
looked this season or at least for a long time.
And so when Deebo complains, it's like, well, dude, the
offense is doing really good without you, so like you know,
you're there's just the defense. You know, let Purty take
what the defense is giving him. Like Chicago, if you
look at the underlying stats, is a really tough Yak defense.
So Debo is not needed in that game. But this
(51:23):
week against the Rams, that could be different. So I
don't know everything, everything in my bones tells me that
I'm gonna be watching Deebo on my bench score like
seventeen Fantasy points and half PPR, and I'm gonna not
love every second of that. All right, let's keep going here.
We got Hockinson or I and who hasn't been there
both not volume guys. Tyler gets it, man, We got
your thoughts here, buddy. This is what I love about
(51:44):
the consistency. The persistence, my friend, we do appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
Yeah, I think that's wrong. That he's not wrong about
the not doing anything since Evnants.
Speaker 1 (51:56):
Yeah, but and by the way, uh, you know, that's
the other thing that the Chargers. There's something about the charges.
They sucked the air out of the ball, like they
don't they have a good defense, and so like they
want to run the football and be very efficient. They're
not in a rush. You know, Herbert's not dropping back
(52:18):
a million times. But Tampa Bay is dealing with a
bunch of injuries, especially at the safety position, and so
you got to think maybe there's something there for the
Chargers to kind of open things up a little bit
at home. But you're not wrong. Look at Mike Evans
is the guy. But like Kate Auten, last week wasn't bad.
I think he had four catches three for seventy, which is,
(52:38):
you know, for a tight end in half PPR eight
and a half points. That's fine, You're not going to
stress out about it. But the volume isn't there. That's
why I think Hakinson is probably the direction I lead
in that one, because neither there isn't really many volume
tight ends anymore, you know, outside of like the McBride's
Kelsey types. You know, even like a Laporta, last year's
(53:01):
darling doesn't get a lot of volume anymore. Yeah, you know,
it's it's a tough.
Speaker 2 (53:06):
He's been that where you where you drafted and mean,
he's been a bust. Another guy that has just been
a complete disappointment this year is Dalton.
Speaker 1 (53:15):
Right, Oh well I need a I don't know why
I'd be an addic Dave because putting out of here,
I was so high on kind and you just had
to throw it in there, like I'm like, what is
going on?
Speaker 2 (53:27):
Man?
Speaker 1 (53:28):
It's been brutal, It's been so badd has been I
never met a tight end to just scorg your five
fantasy points at half PPR every week. Like it's so
like below average, terrible. I think he averages like six
fantasy points at half PPR this season or something ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (53:47):
But yeah, the expectations were so high for that guy,
and I I'm guilty of that as well. I drafted him.
I kind of waited out, you know, the McBride's and
the and the kelsey's, and I drafted my my fair
share of Dalton Kincaid and.
Speaker 1 (54:05):
Wow, yes, yeah, you know, honestly, Brock Bauers, I just
got to give him a shout out to He's been
absolutely awesome as a rookie. And you know, the narratives
starting to tilt away from the rookie fading the rookie
tight end. You know sometimes when guys are drafted in
the top you know, ten to fifteen. You know, you
(54:25):
just got to roll with the punches. Like the good
news is North Turner's offense, Scott Turner's offense very good
for tight ends. I mean Antonio Gates, That's all you
need to know about that. So yeah, it was an
absolute stud for a long time in that offense. So,
but do you have one more question before we get out
of here. I need you all help need to start
(54:45):
to We got donald golf and Stafford needs all the points.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
Maurice McDonald, I like the double M. Yeah what you
got here? Get We're going with the alliteration here. So
I'm gonna I'm gonna absolutely start golf against Buffalo. I
think that game, that game's the highest over under on
the slate.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
It might be the highest one for the year. It
opened at fifty four and a half. I think it
did slide it down to fifty three and a half
yesterday but I love golf. In that game, Who's Minnesota
got the Bears? Okay, that's that's you.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
Know, yeah, discounting home.
Speaker 2 (55:39):
Discounting in forty nine ers game, the Bears are kind
of a fairly tough defense. He's it so with the
forty nine ers, but they're a little bit more banged up.
I'm probably going to take Stafford against the forty nine
ers just for the familiarity and two teams that are
really in a death grip trying to stay alive and
(56:00):
that division. Yeah, if Darnoald throws five more touchdowns, again,
I apologize, but I just don't see that happening.
Speaker 1 (56:13):
That's a good that's a good question. I mean, I
you know, Stafford didn't do much in Week three, but
he didn't have Pooka. I don't believe he had neither.
Speaker 2 (56:25):
He didn't have pooh he did, he didn't have Pooka
or cup and he had one hundred and eighty yards
and two touchdowns. So that wasn't nothing.
Speaker 1 (56:35):
Uh, one hundred and eighty yards, two touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (56:38):
I see touchdowns in that game.
Speaker 1 (56:41):
No, you only had one to twenty one and one,
which is fine. But in twenty twenty three he threw
for three hundred yards against them. Yeah, I just feel
like because golf at home. I don't want to fake
golf at home. It's just something about him in Detroit.
(57:03):
He's just so much better.
Speaker 2 (57:04):
Yea.
Speaker 1 (57:05):
And honestly, like the Bills, we kind of just saw
what the upside is offensively when you face like a
good offense like Stafford and company. We could see something
very similar to what they just did against Buffalo. So
I don't want to sit golf. He's in Donald at
home versus Stafford on the road. Is where I get
kind of like a little hesitant. I think, Yeah, Donald's
(57:31):
better at home. Stafford is probably mutual. Yeah, he's actually mutual.
Doesn't matter, man, I think I actually might go. I
might sit Stafford on the short week on the road
against San Francisco versus these guys. You know, I think
Minnesota could be another you know Minnesota is you know,
(57:53):
coming off that crazy game. The Bears just got roasted
by the forty nine ers. They just fighted their defensive
minded head coach, you know what I mean. Like, there's
just something going on for the Bears a little bit.
And so I think I'm gonna ride the hot hand
and I mean, granted both Stafford is I'm gonna go
golf and Stafford. But like we said, this is not
(58:16):
this is actually not a I don't think you're gonna
go wrong, but I'd like to fade Thursday Night football
if I can, Like, if it's a tiebreaker, I want
my guys to have full weeks of practice and rest
and get their cell bodies ready. But I don't know,
we'll see. It's funny.
Speaker 2 (58:33):
It's funny. This is the first year I can remember
where a large percentage of the thirty nine large percentage
of the Thursday night games have been pretty entertained. You
got both, You got both Donald and Stafford in games
intradivisional games, which are always kind of of a of
(58:54):
a pot luck, right, just youn't always know what you're
gonna get. Right. Then, the forty nine ers had that
first game in their hands. They've had like two or
three games this year where they've had them in their
hands and they just couldn't close the deal. One was
against the Rams, another one was against the Cardinals. It's
probably an end up costume them at the end of
(59:16):
the year. So I could go either way. I don't
I don't disagree with what you're saying about the short week.
Speaker 1 (59:26):
Yeah, and listen, you know last week golf went bananas
on a short week against the Packers. Well it wasn't
actually a short week because they played at the excaving
so they had the whole week, so I correct myself.
But anyway, I listen, good luck. Honestly, there's they're all
pocket passers too, so there's no like rushing upside with
any of those guys really, and honestly, I just I
(59:47):
think I think I'll just take the home quarterbacks in
a dome, you know what I mean, and just roll
with that, especially as a good tiebreaker for me. But
that's all we got today, folks. Is another episode of
