waiting until Week sixteen, therefore playing your championship in week eighteen,

Jefferson had to take Away article dropped yesterday. Matt had
his waiver article dropped this morning. As we know already

(01:41):
over twenty comments. Matt still bat in one thousand on replies,
so if you do ask a question on that, I'm
going to get a reply. Davy Cruise has got his
articles coming up this week as well. Gentlemen, it's a
playoff I mentioned in the top of the top of
the show here. Hopefully everybody's like in the quote unquote
wild card round this week and not waiting for another week.

(02:03):
Quick thoughts on a double championship week. More and more
of my leagues are starting to add that, so you
get week one now, week two next week, and then
the championship. Week one is seventeen, Week two is eighteen.
Kind of evens things out maybe for teams, so you
don't just get like a lucky situation. It's more of
the better team musically comes out on top. Quick thoughts here.

(02:24):
First of all, let us know just how many of
your teams in general have made it onto the next
round of the playoffs. And what do you think about
the double championship weekend, Mattie, I'll start with you, good evening.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Good evening. Not a fan.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I think that back when I used to hate Week
seventeen and now I will hate Week eighteen. It's not
even really fun to watch the actual football games unless
the team that you're rooting for has to win that
final week to get in the playoffs. So I unless
it's a points based right like they're like Scott Fishbowl,
is you get you play two games a week, it's

(02:59):
points in one or in one matchup, and then it
is your head to head matchup in the other category.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
So maybe if it's that way, I can get along
with it.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
But you're not a big fan of playing the week
eighteen when you know, unless you want to the Cardinals
in your Panthers and your you know, you drop everybody
that doesn't matter and you just pick up teams that
you think are playing.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
For pride or a playoff spot. I just I don't
think that's the.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Best way to go, Dave, how about you.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of playing the last
week of the season. It came up a couple of
years ago when we were about a point and a
half away from a championship in a league and the
game that was on was the game where DeMar Hamlin
almost died. So basically we kind of threw out that

(03:49):
week and started over in week eighteen.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
And that was just a disaster.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
So I've never been a big fan of playing the
last week. This season, it's almost never gone right for me.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Interesting sometimes I'm kind of fifty to fifty.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I've been in a couple leagues where it seems to
make sense because a lot of times like Fantasy Football.
First of all, Matt, you're totally right, and Dave, I
agree with you. That's an odd circumstance, obviously, but.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
More and more leagues are going to the top point
earner of that week. The half of the league gets
a point plus your win. In my home league, the
league we've been running for almost twenty years, the number
one seed is the fifth highest scoring team in Fantasy.
So what that tells you is that like matchup per week,
he's lucked out, played some off matchups and got the win,

(04:36):
so he chalks up to win. He's the number one seed.
I'm not taking away from the number one seed necessarily. However,
if you played a little more fair, it wouldn't assarily
bone out that way. So in a two week championship,
then potentially that kind of like evens things out, maybe
to even the waters. You wouldn't play Week eighteen, you'd
actually start the playoffs last week. Yeah, but if you

(04:57):
did that, then you had like six teams on BOB
And obviously we can't do that either. So kind of
a double edged sword there. And maybe it's just not
the best idea, but something that's coming up more and
more in leagues, and I just kind of want to
address that as we go through for playoff season.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
There's ways to get around what you're talking about where
one of the lowest scoring teams winds up with the
best seed. You've got medians, so you have weekly medians
and the teams that you've got like two games a week,
you got a game against head to head, and you've
got a game against the media that helps, and another

(05:32):
way is you let some of the teams, some of
the highest scoring teams into the playoffs. So you say, okay,
well we're gonna let the top three seats and based
on head to head record, and then you get the
next three highest scoring teams that didn't.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Get it nice. I like that before you logged in.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Football, guys is a league that a lot of us
were invited into, and I jumped into that tenth place
sticks in eight and I highest scoring team. So I
made the wild card based on the fact that I have.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
The most point. So it was a way for me
to get in right.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Last night's game would have normally not meant anything well
the last probably three weeks because of my record, I
just could.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Not buy a win. And last night, when Chase.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
And Burrow did what they needed to, I needed fifty
nine point four points from them, and I got somewhere
near I think near eighty points from the two of them.
And because of that, in the number or I'm in
the wild card, I'm below. Like Dave said, there's a
I think the high scoring average is one sixty eight
and the lowest one twenty six.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
I'm square right in the middle.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Probably does not bode well for making it to the
second week, but I'm going to have.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
To continue to score well above that one sixty to
keep going.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
But to me, that was a way for my season
to not be over three weeks ago. And then Dave
mentioned we're in the belly Up Bowl if you're participating
that another one some of us analysts writers got invited into,
and Dave noted he said, you could not buy a win.
I mean, my team is absolutely ridiculous. And Dave beat
me last week. He had to have the highest score

(07:10):
to beat me, and.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
Yeah, we have top two scores and Matt lost. Ye.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
I think I counted five weeks where I was the
number two scorer and every single time I played with
the highest score.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
The funny part is this week nobody was close to that.
It's just it's sometimes you just have crap luck in these.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
I think I ended what three and eleven?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Three and eleven? Yeah, and you were what I think
you were, like the second highest score.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
That's why.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
That's why like alternative alternative scoring in League fourmats are fun.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
But obviously you need to make sure that everybody's okay
with that. Preseason.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
This is the time of year where everyone starts bringing
shit up like, oh, I didn't know this, or this
is the league setting, or this is what I thought.
You gotta square that stuff up, especially it's like homies
and good friends, Like you don't want to ruin friendships,
which does happen over fantasy football folks. All Right, if
it's a bogus work league, then it is what it is.
But if it's a close thing, just keep it fun

(08:12):
and keep it professional. If you got you know, something
wager on the line, you know, make sure you guys
have your your your ducks in a row, right, if
you will, I'll.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
Get with that.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
I hate leaks that change scoring systems in the middle
of the season. Yeah, we can't get everything straight. Get
everything straightened out, and if somebody doesn't want to deal
with it, they can go join another.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
In the early days of my commissioning, I think I
was like nineteen twenty years old, and it got a
bunch of buddies together and we decided, I forget what
it was, but I had to do with RG three,
and we changed settings based on some scoring thing or
something like that we just thought was unfair and we
something was off totally, and we all agreed, so we
changed it, but like three guys didn't agree, and it

(08:55):
literally became this huge blow up.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Like we're all poker buddies and buddy buddies.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
And like we like friendship over a summer over fucking
fantasy football. So just be careful and make sure you
guys are having fun. So all right, let's sip into
the week fifteen waiver ads. Here, mattch you up first.
Then again, Dave's got some specific names to look forward
and not. You know, obviously your trade deadlines are behind you.
These guys are not gonna be on waivers, but if
you got him in your lineup, you're gonna be looking

(09:19):
to start these guys. Matt'll let you go first, give
me the top dog and then the top at each position,
and who else you're looking for a week fifteen, the
floor is yours.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Uh yeah, I'm tripling down on Adam Thielen. Still in Yahoo.
League's only fifty three percent rostered. It's forty seven percent
of leagues. He's on the waiver wire, And to me,
that's almost criminal at this point. If you've watched any
of the Carolina games or highlights, or even just looked
at the box score, he's got twenty five targets in

(09:47):
three weeks since he's come back from injury, and by
the way, he only had four targets in the first
game back, so he is elite right now. He's averaging
one hundred I believe it's one hundred and one yards
and half a touchdown over the last two games. And
for people that meet a wide receiver off the wire,
somebody that owns that may roster a player.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Like Debo that we have absolutely lam based on this show,
Felan is a better start.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Feelan is probably a better start the DK metcalf right now,
Delan's a better start than and you can just go
down the list, right you would probably start feeling over
Marvin Harrison Junior. You would probably start him over Brian
Thomas Junior in some situations because mac Jones is not good.
Do not sleep on Thlan because he is slow and
because he's one hundred and fifteen years old in football years.

(10:35):
He is my top dog again, and that's second week
in a row. I'm tripling down because I spoke about
him three weeks ago in other positions. I think that
you probably have to as much as it pains me
to say at quarterback. You have to pay attention to
Aaron Rodgers after what he did last week. The fact
that he does not want to go out this way,

(10:57):
so he's going to continue to throw the football breeze
all dinged up means they're going to throw a little
bit more. They don't have a nasty schedule down the stretch,
and if you want to really soft schedule at quarterback,
consider Bryce Young.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
But I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Any of us have the wherewithal to roster up and
start Bryce Young in our playoffs, much less our championship.
But boy, wouldn't that be a thing to brag about
to your buddies later if you can ride Bristol to
a championship. And by the way, what if you have
the Bryce Bryce Young Adam Feelen stack in the championships,

(11:32):
nobody could talk to you.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
You would own that league forever.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Running Back wise, I think right now you consider Patrick
Taylor because the forty nine ers are now on their
seventy sixth running back and I just it's crazy that
the luck that they've had, by the way, they just
blew the doors off the Chicago Bears and they don't
have any healthy players outside of George Kittle really well,

(11:57):
and George Kittle's been dinged too, so it was maybe
they dropped thirty eight.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Points on the Bears.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
The Bears are awful.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
I revel in the fact that I get to mention
that at every turn.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Caleb Williams is not good. We know that.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
And by the way, did you see Roman Dunes. They
dance after a touchdown when they put up their thirteenth point.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Maybe we don't do that.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
We don't ro Huskies.

Speaker 6 (12:21):
No.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
With that, I think a better running back ad is
probably Sincere McCormick. Bob spoke highly of him on Sunday,
and if you need a running back, this guy owns
the Raiders backfield and the Raiders have a pretty.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
Soft schedule down the stretch.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
So Sincere McCormick is probably running back wise where I
would put the majority of my money wide Receiver Quinton
Johnston looked good again. He is a touchdown machine. Elijah
Moore deserves attention because James throws seventy five times a
game and coming off is buy at tight end. I
really like zach Ertz, who was dropped in many leagues.

(13:00):
And if you really want to dig in the bottom
of the barrel, Juwan Johnson, And if you want to
go all the way down to the trashiest of trashy ads,
how about the guy with two t's.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
At the end of his name, Stone Smart with will
this may being injured. So a lot of names out there.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Well, there's not as many names as there should be
out there because there's been so many injuries this year.
But those are some names that I consider. They're all
in the article amongst others. So feel free to read
it at Rasball NFL and let me know what you think.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Love it, Stone Smart nice. I like to listen to
those games on the radio. I just like Matt money
Smith who's the the analyst for the Chargers on the radio.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
He just does a great call and just Stone Smart,
he likes to scream it out. I like to hear
the enthusiasm.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Matt, you got me all flush on the Bryce Young
Adam Thielen Stack idea. I mentioned Bryce Young a couple
of weeks ago when we were talking about quarterbacks heading
into the playoffs, and I mentioned, like, you probably don't
need to get him, you probably won't get him whatever,
but just keep an eye out in case you're in
the dynasty League at that point that was hit the
bye week. Since then, QB fourteen and QB eight solid,

(14:05):
QB twenty last week. Not great, but when you consider
they're one of the worst teams in the NFL, he's
been the worst quarterback in the NFL up until last
three weeks after the buy and they played the best
defense in the NFL in Philadelphia. That was a hell
of her performance. And I think he's turning the corner
hopefully and looking at next year. So he's got Dallas,
which we just saw. I mean, Burrow and Chaser obviously

(14:27):
by Bryce and Adam thieland are not on that level,
but they just blew up Dallas. And then you got Arizona.
Both those games are in Carolina, and then Tampa Bay
in the Championship, who he was QB eight against, which
is his best performance of the season.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
So and he's arguably he's better today than he was then.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Absolutely, And so yes, you would have to have some
serious stones and be smart to do it. However, the
craziest crazier things happened in the NFL. We mentioned it
last week, I'll mention it again. The number one tight
end on the Championship week last year was Juwan Johnson
right with Derek Carr. So things pop off in the
fantasy playoffs, guys come alive. I think Beanie Wells won

(15:08):
a few championships down the stretch a few years ago.
So keep an eye out for some of those sleepers,
at least in DFS. You can throw them out there
if you can't put them in your daily leagues. All right,
Matt's article is available at football dot rasball dot com.
You can check out all the waiver ads there and
make sure you beat your waiver ad for next week.
And by the way, if you're one of these awesome
teams that has a buy this week, don't get arrogant

(15:31):
and forget the waiver wire. You're still playing, you're still
playing defense, and you're preparing for next week. Also, if
you're one of the teams in the hunt, like you're
a six set of five, set of four seat, you're
playing this week to next week, make sure you keep
an eye on the waiver wire because some of these
big time names are gonna get dropped for various reasons
and you might be able to pick those up. And
also keep an eye out for some of these guys

(15:51):
that were off of that six team bye week last week,
So keep an eye out there all the articles availablet
football dot rassball dot com.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
All right, Dave your turn. Who are we looking for
in the playoffs? Who are some of your gold nuggets?

Speaker 6 (16:03):
Yeah? A couple of things.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
Number one, Even though you're on by your NFL players,
aren't so Sky's point about the waiver wires. You could
still have injuries happen this week even though your fantasy
team doesn't playing. And to Matt Bravo on Adam Feelin,
I had him in scott Fish Bowl. He was on
my bench. Me and me and Feeling will be sitting

(16:26):
on the bench together in week fifteen because I makes it.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
It's scott Fish Bowl this week.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
Anyway, for players for this week starting in the playoff,
a little bit deeper dive, not bottom dive, but deeper
than normal. Nobody needs to be told to start Jalen
Hurts or Derrick Henry. My quarterback this week is Tuatagaba

(16:54):
Looa against the Houston Texans in Houston. It's a pretty
high over under forty six and a half. Last I
saw points spreads pretty close two and a half. Last
four games two has had three hundred and twenty five
point three yards per game, eleven touchdowns and no interceptions.

(17:16):
And that includes a road game in Green Bay on
Thanksgiving when where it was very cold, where you know,
the narrative is the Dolphins don't do.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
Well in the hole.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
He had twenty nine point two points in nine game
in a six point touchdown league. Houston's been giving up
the second most PPR points per game to wide receivers
the last six weeks, and I know that thanks to
the great raz Ball defense slot versus wide tool, so

(17:52):
their defense isn't very scary against the pass. Weather won't
be a factor in that game because the stadium and
Houston is covered. And Houston is only allowing twelve point
two points PPR points per game to running backs for
the season to his rank number twelve on rasball rankings.

(18:14):
But Rudy only hasn't for one and a half passing
touchdowns and still around twenty twenty one points. I think
he can. I think he can do better than one
and a half passing TVs. I think he can eclipse that.
The running back I have is Cuba Hubbard versus Dallas.

(18:35):
Think about Cuba that you know, you still get questions
when we're doing our show is should I start Cuba?
Cuba's running back fourteen and PPR points per game. He's
still only eighty nine percent on which means he's probably
available if somebody's kind of sleeping on him. He's he

(18:55):
doesn't catch as many passes as some backs, but he's
still a comparable receiver to Kyrom Williams, David Montgomery, James Cook,
James Connor. Right now, Jonathan Brooks just tore his ACL again. Sadly,
I'm just torn up for the kid. Rahem blackshears hurt

(19:17):
and Miles Sanders is on IR. It's pretty much the
Cuba Hubbards show right now.

Speaker 6 (19:22):
In Carolina, he had.

Speaker 5 (19:25):
A bad game against Tampa in Week thirteen, but he
still had twelve with the eighteen running back carries. And
that was a game where Carolina threw the ball forty
seven times and only ran it twenty one, including three
by Bryce Young. Dallas is the fifth best defense for

(19:46):
running backs. They give up nineteen and a half PPR
points per game, and the Candle on the Cake is
the number one ranked running back in rasball rankings. This week,
PPR for running backs is cheop hovered at twenty point
eight eight points, So I don't think anybody else has

(20:08):
him ranked that high, but I like it and I
think he can certainly do it.

Speaker 6 (20:14):
The rather is going to.

Speaker 5 (20:15):
Be decent as far as temperature goes, but there could
be a chance of rain, so that might slow down
passing attacks. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton versus Indianapolis since Week seven.
He had a goose egg in Week seven against New Orleans.
In six games since, he's averaging nine and a half targets,

(20:36):
seven receptions, just under ninety five yards and half a touchdowns.
He's also two for two passing with thirty yards in
a touchdown, so he's had In those six games, he's
had one hundred and twenty four point seven PPR points,
which is twenty point seven in game. He's also only

(20:56):
owned an eighty nine percent. Indianapolis allows twenty one PPR
points per game out wide in the last six which
is about average for the league, but it's still pretty
good and Courtland Sutton is the big.

Speaker 6 (21:12):
Dog among their wide outs.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
He's ranked number ten among wide receivers on ras ball
at sixteen point four to seven points. My tight end
is a little bit deeper. I'm going to go with
Hunter Henry at Arizona, he's only forty percent oh, and
so he could be in Matt's call real easily. He's
actually number eight in targets per game among tight ends

(21:37):
this year. He is averaging just under ten PPR points
per game on the season, which doesn't sound great, but
in tight ends it's actually okay. He adds twelve point
two points in his last four in the patriots last
four losses. They had a blowout wind in there against

(21:59):
the and he just didn't really do.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
Much in that game, but they didn't throw the ball
a lot.

Speaker 5 (22:08):
The spread on the game, Arizona is favored by four
and a half and the over unders forty five and
a half, and I can see Arizona not only covering
but making this pretty much a game where the Patriots.

Speaker 6 (22:21):
Have to throw a lot.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Arizona is seventh best against tight ends. But in the
last six weeks, nobody has funneled more to the slot
among receivers than the Cardinals, and they're funneling the fifty
four point fifty four of PPR points are going to
slot receivers, and that's where a guy a tight end

(22:46):
like Hunter Henry lives.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
So I like Hunter Henry this week.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
I like it.

Speaker 5 (22:52):
Dave.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Can you just give us the names of the players
again for each position?

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Yep, quarterback to Atagoba Loa, running back, Chewba Hubbard, wide receiver,
Courtland Sutton, tight end Hunter Henry.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Love it, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
So some of those guys might be available on under
waivers Hunter Henry certainly, maybe even Tua depending on in
a shorter league or something like that, although of course
he's been on fire and keep an eye on. I
was looking at Chewba Hubbard as well, and again running
back eight last week against Philadelphia. Very good the Panthers
almost they should have won that game, so very impressive there.
Tyler Sperry's coming in here with the question, Maddie, I'm

(23:32):
gonna come to you first year? Is our boots on
the ground in Green Bay? I assume you're nice and warm?
Sounds like a let's see in early December evening in
Green Bay, Wisconsin is probably what a balmy twenty four
degrees right now? If I had to guess, maybe a
little less. Tyler Sperry's coming in. Do we still trust
Jaden Reid You have to start him in redraft or

(23:54):
Adam Thielen who we all just big uped this week?
Who are we going with Jayden Reid who put up
a goog sir? Or the on fire Adam Feeling.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
It's the playoffs, right, I think that you start your
studs unless your studs have given you a reason do
not start them. I do not see Jaydon Reid in
the Deebo Samuel category right now, but given the matchup,
I'm okay starting either. I like Seattle or excuse me,
I like green Bay because I have to contractually. But

(24:30):
the Seahawks on the road just held the car or
just I mean, they put up thirty against the against
the Cardinals and held them to what sixteen?

Speaker 6 (24:39):
Was it?

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Something like that. The Cardinals did not put up a
lot of points.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
But I think the green Bay offense is a little
bit different than Arizona. I think that they can run first,
and that's what they're doing right. They are riding Josh
Jacobs as far as they can ride him. I like
when receivers put up a goose egg for them to
rebound the next week because the coach reads the papers
too well.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
The papers.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Enough, jeez, the tab what is this? What is this guy?
The papers?

Speaker 5 (25:13):
He's he's whipping out publications man.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
One of those from ninety four, the.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
Breaking out the publication she got.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
I slept with the Football Index last night because it
was Jamar Chase was on the cover.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
I felt like that was probably a good thing to
cuddle up with last night.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
No, I'm not concerned about read. Uh, this is a
tough one for me, being a packer's homer. I would
probably start read comfortably. I'd like to know who else
you have to make that decision over if it comes
down to read or feeling.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
I will not.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Argue with you if you start feeling. I see, I
see a rebound coming for read. But feeling is the
number one target for Bryce Young. But remember Dallas returns
three of their dvs last night. They got torched at
the end, but they were okay, they gave up, you know,

(26:10):
stuff in the middle of the field, but they weren't
getting the receivers were not getting behind them all night.
That leads to theeling being valuable because theeling's not.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Going to get behind the defense anyway.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
So but you know, Dallas has those three good dvs.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
But you know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
For me, I should probably abstain. I'll act like a
senator and not be in the room for the vote.
So I don't have a problem with either player. I
won't argue against steeling, so they get me off the
hook here.

Speaker 6 (26:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
I I sent out a tweet today that said, unfortunately
Jaden Reid had an accident and sat in some super
clue because his butt is fastened to my fantasy bench.
After that performance last week, that was that was that
was almost disaster for me in so many games. I'm

(27:03):
sure I'll get him back up out there sometime, But
right now, if I have a decent body and I
kind of put Adam Feeling in that category, I'm probably
going to start him. I'm not real, you know. I
love Green Bay as a team, and I love him
as an offense. I'm not real crazy about dealing with

(27:26):
their wide receiver situation and managed leagues. I think they're
much better dealt with in Bestball. So that's just kind
of my feeling on that situation.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
I think you're right right.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
If I get away from being a Homer, the smarter
start is probably Adam Feeling now. Reid being super blue
to your bench is not Reid's fault as much as
it is game script and play calling. So that's more
about Josh Jacobs being really good yes week and Matt
Lafleur calling the place that he did call. So why

(28:00):
Reda is still healthy? Read is still good, Reed still
does what he does, but zero touches is strange.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
It's an aberration.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Yeah, he didn't have a target after the second series.
Yeah right, Well, you know, I kind of dissect that
game in my column tomorrow since I made Read my
start of the week.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Wise, it's hard, man, it's hard. I was just looking
ahead to this weekend weather. Now, of course we're six
days in advance here, but this weekend's weather up in Seattle.
I'm in the Northwest. I've basically lived in a cloud
for literally ten days. It's unbearable. Seattle will be raining

(28:41):
on Saturday, but not so much on Sunday. The game
is Sunday night for the Packers and the Seahawks, so
shouldn't be too much weather up there. But I wanted
to look ahead this time of year. I'm actually gonna
go Adam feeling and I feel pretty good about that.
Just his consistency, assuming you're in a PPR league, Tyler,
you know, I mean, he's gotten eleven and twelve targets
in the last two games.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
And even if he does the old Jason Whitten and
just runs a ten yard curl and catches the ball
and falls down, he could end up with one hundred
yards and he might score as well.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
So I like that a lot.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Jana Read's been tough, not even getting the carries that
he did last year, so kind of in that like
debo circle a little bit. So for me, I would
go with Adam Thiel, and I know it might feel
weird and didn't. Reid, of course, could bounce back at
any time, but they have a lot of other weapons there.
Green Bay's getting healthier, so there's more distribution of the
ball in general, not so much for the Panthers. So
I'm gonna go with a feeling on that one. Okay, Marius,

(29:37):
we got a question for you as well. I have
a buy in a sixteen team. Anyone worth a pickup
two weeks from now, So again we're looking ahead, Charbonnay
still have value or should I grab Patrick Taylor? Matt,
I'll start with you on this.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Uh, what do we know about Kenneth Walker?

Speaker 6 (29:53):
Right?

Speaker 4 (29:53):
That's all That's what it comes down to. If Patrick
Taylor is worth absolutely zero. If Kenneth Walker doesn't play right,
that means Sharboning's worth way too much. Patrick Taylor might
get touches, should get touches, But it could be the
guy that they just picked up from the Jets practice
squad who wants to try to pronounce that name. Oh,

(30:15):
that's a that's my boyka right, So Conda, yeah, my Anna, Conda.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Don't want none unless yes.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
From the movie Anaconda with ice.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Cube, very nice, Oh my god, great film.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Also John Voight was in that film.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Based on a true story if I remember correctly, Yes,
Oh sas on a plane deep blue c Okay, go ahead, Matt.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
Fun fact, I am deathly afraid of snakes. They are
they are. They are one of my kryptonites. That is,
Celery and the.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Bears are pretty much the same.

Speaker 7 (30:58):
But anyway, uh, if if you have any indication that
Kenmith Walker may not be the guy this week or
next week or however long, Charbonay is the absolute top
dog to pick up.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Patrick Taylor is worth an ad as well, but you
have to determine how much you're willing to risk on
charbon Ay.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
And with Kenneth Walker, news probably not being super up
to date today and you probably have to place your
waiver claim tonight for the overnight work.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
If it's me, I'm.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Gonna And by the way, you have a buy so
I'm spinning the Roulett wheel in adding charbon a.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Daf.

Speaker 5 (31:37):
Yeah, this goes back to to a podcast we did
a few weeks ago who the best handcuffs are? And
you know, I think we found out this past week.
Charbon Ay is right at the top of the at
the top of the handcuff list, He's he doesn't have
a shared rule, but if ken Walker is out, he's

(31:59):
he's he can kill it. I mean, he just had
a monster game and he destroyed some of my teams
this week. So Charbonnay should be on on rosters. I
mean unless they're super super shallow. So as far as
Patrick Taylor goes, I don't even know how that He's

(32:20):
almost got to be the guy if Grendo can't play
this week because they just signed Vaughan, he's still on
the practice squad. They just signed a bond of Conde.
And even if you look at the depth chart, key
Sean Vaughan on the practice squad is ahead of Rabona Conde.
So you know, you can't even say right now that

(32:43):
Patrick Taylor is going to be the guy. So I
would grab you know, I like grabbing Patrick Taylor in
deeper leagues as a you know, as a as a
what if pick up. If he gets the job, He's
definitely got value. But I know sharbon AT's got value
of ken Walker's out. If ken Walker's not out, he

(33:05):
still has some value, just not nearly as much.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yeah, I gotta go Sharbonay just with what we saw.
Patrick Taylor's fine, but who knows. The Niners are just
tough anyway. Right now, Rams are playing well, or maybe
they're not playing well per se, but they're scoring points
and that could be a tough game brock Party might
put in his hands.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
And I don't know if those guys are gonna catch
you any passes. So I'll stick with Scharbonay in that one.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
And as of today, Kenneth Walker is still questionable. I
know that that's really early in the week.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
But at four discussion Purposes today, Romeo Dobbs went from
out to questionable, so there's at least some movement on
some injury reports. So a full queue for him today
and no update, which means Seattle is not saying he
did or did not practice. It's just kind of MoMA
is the word. Right now. They do have an until

(34:00):
Sunday night. It's the Sunday night game at home in Seattle.
So there's no traveling, right, So Kenneth Walker is not
going to be in an airplane, there's.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
No there's no issues with any of the travel. He
will be at home. He will have his team doctors
in place.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
So I still lean Charboney, but I would say watch
this until you absolutely have to place that claim.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
And put the back backup bid for Patrick Taylor.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
Right if you bid ten bucks on Charboney, bid nine
bucks on Patrick Taylor, or bid ten and just have
him as the lower priority.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Yeah, And as far as as you know, the Seahawks
don't even have a formal practice until tomorrow for this week,
and you know you I would, I would try to
grab Patrick Taylor. I mean, you're gonna see him probably third.
You're gonna at least see him Thursday night. If you
need him a week from now or two weeks from now,

(34:51):
now's a good time to grab him and have him
on your on your roster. Just in case he does
real good against the Rams this week. I mean, you know,
Shanahan does like to you know, grab a guy and write.

Speaker 6 (35:06):
Him if he can no.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
I mean kind of like Bob Hey.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
Next man up is in football terms, that's next man Up.
That's what we call it.

Speaker 6 (35:16):

at Cruiser one two eight, Matt Styles at Styles zero eight,
and Sky Guasco myself. Oddly enough, gentlemen, eight has been

(36:15):
kind of my number. I wore eight for like fifteen
years in a row in baseball because of Cal Ripken
and some other players. You guys both have an eight
in your handle. I don't, and I feel like I
might have to change that moving forward. I just I
just had noticed it, So I appreciate your number eight.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Nice number.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
Until I played varsity softball with the Air Force. Bass
I was.

Speaker 4 (36:35):
At and the gentleman that had number eight told me, hey,
there's a good there's a way for you to get
number eight.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
And I went like this, all right, tell me what
it is, he says, when the Air Force moves me.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Yeah, right.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
So since then, I've been thirteen and I have found
that to be the luckiest of numbers for me. So
thirteen it is for me. But that's that's how you've
got the eight in my handle.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
There you go. I love it same way. Appreciate you guys. Everyone.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
