Speaker 1 (00:02):
What's up, everybody. I'm Murnie.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I'm back with the Face Off Sports Network, and today
we're gonna go over a few of our favorite dynasty
wide receiver buys. Let me kick things off with my
boy Rashie Rice. So I love Rashie Rice, one of
the most undervalued receivers at all of fantasy football right now.
Had a monstrous start to last season and then unfortunately

(00:26):
he tore his ACL. I'm sorry, he didn't tear his ACL.
He just had a really bad knee injury and then
he missed the rest of the season. So here's why
I think Rashie is one of the better dynasty bilos
this year. So he was seventh in Fantasy points per
route run. He had an eighty five plus PFF grade.
He actually didn't tear his ACL. It was a more camp.

(00:47):
It was like, I don't know what specifically happened, but
I think it's a good it's good news that he
didn't actually.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Tear his ACL.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
He's already partaking in OTAs and there's really good intel
on him not being suspended this year, so that's also
a plus. In the three games that he played last year,
the first three games he averaged twenty one point six
fantasy points per game. If you flesh that out to
over a seventeen game season, he was on pace for

(01:15):
three hundred and sixty eight PPR fantasy points. That would
have actually made him the fantasy wide receiver two, just
behind Jamar Chase. So Mahomes, this is his true number one.
You know in Rossie, they can line him up everywhere,
they can line him all over the field.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
He thrives from the slot.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
So again, I think this is the most undervalued receiver
in fantasy football. I think he is a lock, you know,
if you know now that it looks like the injuries
behind him and he's not going to get suspended. I
think he is a lock to finish top ten in
fantasy points this year for wide receivers.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
I think he is Mahomes undisputed number one.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I think Xavier are Worthy is a nice addition, but
I think he's more of a deep threat that outside got.
I kind of, you know, bringing another dynamic to the Chiefs.
But I think Rashie's always going to be the guy.
He was a guy last year and I think this
year he's going to pick off right where he left golf.
Second Dynasty buy wide receiver we have is Josh down

(02:16):
So another one of the more overlooked receivers in fantasy football.
This one could be a little bit of a head
scratcher for people because you look at the numbers last year,
but there's there's a bigger story than to what the
numbers are just presenting to you. So he was he
finished with seventy two receptions last year, one hundred and

(02:36):
two targets.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
That was eight hundred and three yards and five touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Yeah, man, numbers, right, but let me get into why
I think he's being undervaluable.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
He had an.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Eighty five PFF grade that was eleventh amongst all wide receivers.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
His separation rate was six best in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
And these are elite metrics when you take a consideration
of quarterback play, right, so you know they had a
lot of inconsistency. That inconsistency there, Anthony Richardson doesn't have
the best arm. And the real eye opener is when
he played with Joe Flacco. So there was a seven
game sample in which he played with Joe. Josh Downs
numbers in that seven game sample was six point three receptions,

(03:17):
sixty eight point six yards per game, ten point nine
yards per catch, and three touchdowns. Now again, if you
flush that out over a seventeen game season, he would
have finished with one hundred and seven receptions, one hundred
and sixty six receiving yards, and.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Seven touchdowns and PPR sporting that would.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Have translated to two hundred and sixty six Fantasy points. Right,
that would have been wide receiver eight, putting him between
Terry McLaurin and CD Lamb. So this is the level
of upside I'm talking about here with Josh downs and again,
a lot of people and I get it rightfully. So
Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones, I'm gonna make a bowl
take here.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I think Daniel Jones wins that job.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I think he will be I don't know if he's
you know, you want to say he's this year Sam Darnold,
But I do think he's gonna go to the Colts.
I do think he's gonna play better. I think they
have a very sneaky good offensive situation. They have a
very good offensive line, they have a very good group
of wide receivers, and they have Jonathan Taylor, right, and
then the top of all of you have Shane Stike

(04:19):
in one of the better offensive mine in the NFL.
I think there's a reason why, you know, they picked
Daniel Jones. And you know, Adam Schefter had one of
the more interesting quotes this offseason, and that was, you know,
the consensus has a different opinion than the NFL does
on Daniel Jones, and there was actually a bidding war

(04:41):
going on for him before he got signed. He ultimately
he went with the Colts because he feels like that's
the best place he could start. And I agree with
Daniel again, it was I'm I'm a New York Giants fan,
so I understand. But you know, a lot of times
what people aren't taking the consideration is how bad these
Jets and Giants teams are.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
And that's why you get a Sam Darnold.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
You get a kid that people think is a bust, right,
and you put him behind a pretty good offensive line
with some good weapons, and you know, he's thrown for
over four thousand yards and thirty touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I'm not saying that's what's gonna happen with Daniel.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Jones, but I know Daniel Jones is better than Gardner
Minshew and whatever else they had last year, So I'm sorry,
Daniel Jones is better than Joe Flacco, who and then
the other players that they've.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Had in the past.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
So I think Josh Downs is a smash pick, I
think with competent quarterback play, which I think you'll see
this year because it's either gonna be Daniel Jones or
hopefully Anthony Richardson takes a step and a lot of
people bought into Anthony Richardson last year.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I was one of.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Them, so hopefully that this quarterback competition could you know,
unlock that next level of his arm talent, right, because
that's only gonna benefit Josh Downs. I think Josh Downs
is an easy, easy dynasty by low. I think his
value is only going to skyrocket once he gets competent
quarterback play. And my last dynasty wide receiver by low

(06:04):
is Jalen Wattle, mister Waddle. So there's a lot to
like about Jalen Wattle. When you look at his first
three seasons, he averaged eighty three receptions, one and twenty
eight receiving yards and fifteen Fantasy points per game.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
When you look at last year, though, he had a
down year, right, and I think that's.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Mainly due to to his injury, because when you look
at his fantasy points per game with Tua, it was
thirteen and a half. Right, when you flush that eight
game sample over a seventeen game season, it would have
it would have given him two hundred and thirty PPR
fantasy points, and that's obviously much better than the one

(06:46):
hundred and fifty that he finished with. Right, he has
been unbelievable in OTAs he's still only twenty six, he's
turning twenty seven, and Tyreek is up there an agent.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
They also might move on for him.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
There's a lot of like off the field issues and
there's some drama going on with Tyreek Hill. So there
is that rumor floating around that Tyreek Hill could you know,
be bounced as early as this year, maybe next year. Right,
So this could be their wide receiver one as early as.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
This season or next season.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
So expect a major bounce back season from Jale and Waddell.
I think he's going to get back to you know,
that two hundred and thirty, two hundred and fifty point
fantasy PPR fantasy points per season range. And yeah, I
wouldn't be surprised if he even takes another step because
apparently he looks awesome right now.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
So that's all I got for you today, guys, thanks
for joining us.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Buy low on these wide receivers while everybody you know
is out on them.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
They think they stink.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
A lot of times in fantasy football, you realize that,
you know, people see numbers and that's what dictate somebody's value.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
But things change, Situation change, you know, and a.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Lot of times they have, you know, a bad season
because of the situation, because their quarterback got hurt, the
offensive line isn't good, right, and now you got to
look at well much changed. And Jayden Waddell man if
he gets a seventeen game season with two and imagine
if Tyreek Hill got you know, cut or they traded
him or whatever it may be, right, so he would

(08:10):
obviously explode onto.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
The fantasy scene.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
So these are the three guys that I would go
by low in your league right now. If you have people,
put them on the trade block definitely, you know, see
what they want and see if you can steal these guys.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
All right, guys, I'll catch you at the time
