Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up, guys.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
My name is Ernie. I'm here representing Fantasy Face off.
We're gonna go over your top five must draft rookies
of this twenty twenty five class. Let's jump right into it.
My number one must draft rookie and the entire draft
is Omarion Hampton.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
There is a lot to like here.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
So the Chargers, they have one of the best young
tackle tandems in the entire NFL, probably one of the
top five youngest offensive lines.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
In the NFL.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
And Harboro is gonna bring that smash mouth football mentality.
You could see that he tried to do it last year.
He didn't really have the bodies with Gus Edwards and JK. Dobbins,
even though he made it work with what he had.
Now insert Omarion Hampton, who is going to be what
I think is a monster. At least the upside is there.
So this kid, he's a violent downhill runner. He reminds

(00:52):
me a lot of Nick Chubb, just his play style
of mentality. Fun fact, Harborough recruited him to Miss so
now he had a second chance in the NFL and
now they're gonna finally unite, which I thought was an
interesting nugget. You know, he has your typical workhorse size.
He's about six foot a little over two hundred and

(01:12):
twenty pounds. He had the second most yards after contact
in all college football this season. His rad scoard that
was in the top forty five of all time. Don't
leave drafts without him. Seriously, I think Harborough, like I said,
he's going to try to pound the football this year.
I do think the Chargers are one of the teams
that takes a step and they're gonna be run first,

(01:33):
you know, and you can't ask.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
For a better landing spot.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah, nause, I mean I am a Najie fan. I
think that move was more of insurance for their their
play style and what they're going to try to do
this year, and that's pound the football. And you know,
if Mario hanfon God forbid, goes down or there's a
freak injury, who are they going to rely on JK.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Dobbins and Gus Edwards again.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Now, now you have a physical, solid runner that could
come in and carry the load because Najie would be
a thousand yard rusher behind this offensive line. That's how
good this offensive line is. But I think he's more
of a handcuff insurance. He's gonna spell Marion. Especially in
the beginning, it might be more of a split, but
I think once O Marion starts the heat up, man,

(02:15):
it's gonna be really similar to Jonathan Taylor's takeoff.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
And he's a.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Kid that I don't want to leave draft without. He
is true elite RB one potential. I'm taking him in
redraft despite of nause I'm gonna take the risk. I
think the upside is truly worth the gamble, and his
dynasty outlook is absolutely elite. You know, this is kind of,

(02:41):
you know, a bold statement, but I think if he
gets the full workload, he's gonna challenge genty for the
top RB.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Crown of the class.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
My next must draft.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Rookie is r J. Harvey.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
I know that there is so much hype around this kid,
but it really is a landing spot.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
So he's going to go to the Denver Broncos at
pick sixty. There was.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
A couple of other really good teams that were eyeing
up r J. Harvey, one of them being the Jacksonville Jaguars.
So James Gladstone, he comes from the Rams. They're really
good at drafting and they were eyeing him at the
top of round three. So I just think it's interesting
that a lot of good offensive minds like Liam Cohen

(03:28):
and Sean Paynon.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Wanted this kid, and you know right away he's going to.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Go into that joker role, that Alvin Kamara role in
Sean Payne's offense.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
It seems like he has a couple of them, one
being the running back and one being the tight end.
R J.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Harvey made no mistake about him, man, this kid is
a do it all weapon. I watched him at us UCF.
He is an elite pass catcher, the very underrated pass catcher.
Like you watch him catch out of the backfield. He
looks like a receiver, elite movement. He has elite vision.
Underrated size too, like he is a couple pounds away

(04:03):
from being the same size as Ashton Jenny. Everybody acts
like he's too small, but really, the only flaw that
I have with r. J.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Harvey is his age.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
He is twenty four, so the second contract, he's gonna
be about twenty eight. But that's the only flaw in
his entire profile. His vision was one of the best
in the class. Like I said before, he's gonna be
Peyton's to do.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
It All back.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I do think the hype is real and at his
ADP and best ball, I think it's around like fifty
right now. Absolutely is steel, no doubt smash pick in
any format, redraft, best.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Ball, Dynasty. We gotta chase the upside here.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
You know, if he gets that album, Kamara workload, and
especially in PPR formats, he's going to feast. My third
must draft rookie is Traveon Henderson. If you're a tradevon
Henderson stand well, you know you couldn't have asked for
a better landing spot. So this was the top back
in an elite class. Not a lot of.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Tread on the tires.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
He split with Judkins in college, so you know there's
not a lot of wearing his tires. He's arguably the
best pass protector and best pass catching back in the class.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Very underrated pass protector.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
A lot of people think he's more of like, you know,
just a receiving back dude. He's not that small and
he will literally lay the wood with anybody. So he
is a great pass protector. He really is to do
it all back. So the one concern with him is
Stevenson will get you know some work, right, but I

(05:39):
think it's gonna be more of like Stevenson's going to
be a Montgomery light. And then you could look at
Henderson like Jamari Gibbs. I think he's going to get
utilized very similar. He's gonna do it all like he's
going to get you know, touches on the ground, but
they're also going to throw the ball to him a lot,
especially when you know that he could pass protect, which

(06:00):
like coaches like Mike Rabel, they covet that right because
now when it's third down, you don't need Ramondi Stevenson
out there. You could let you know, Henderson go out
there block and he could peel off and.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Go out and make a big play. You know.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
So that's a very good skill to have. And when
you look at what the Patriots are trying to do,
you know, they address their offensive line. They added one
of the best tackles in the draft that fourth overall,
and then they took the best center in the class
in my opinion, in the third round. You know, so

(06:34):
Rabel coming in with that run first mentality, he really
wants to pound the ball, establish the run, similar to
Harborough Man. You know, it's why I respect these guys
so much, and I'm not saying he's going to be
Derrick Henry, but you know the style of football Mike
Rabel is going to bring to New England. New England
is going to take a step this year. I do

(06:55):
think that Traveon Henderson and PPR.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Really is going to be a good value.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Again, Stevenson might vulture some touchdowns, it might be annoying
here and there, but I think year one he still
has value in PPR redrafts and in dynasty. He is
an elite stash. I would draft him with all confidence
because one day this is gonna be his backfield and
the upside is absolutely tantalizing.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Trayvon Henderson is very legit.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Our fourth must draft rookie is Tyler Warren, so I
think this is one of the more underrated landing spots.
I'm gonna get into that in a second. I was
hoping for Denver. I'm a Tyler Warrent stan. I think
he's one of the best college football tight ends I've
ever seen, very close to Brock Bowers. Now, the quarterback

(07:48):
situation is an ideal, but I do think, as disgusting
as it is to say, I do think Daniel Jones.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Wins that job.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
And not only does he win that job, I think
he's gonna play well.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Now.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Only reason I say that is is because we saw.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
It happen with Sam Donald last year.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Like these kids they play on these terrible New York
rosters that I don't think a lot of people understand
how bad they are, Like they're supporting cast and they
go to these decent situations with solid offensive lines and
good weapons and they take a step right. So I'm
not saying Daniel Jones is going to be Sam Donald.

(08:27):
I do think that he's going to beat out Anthony Richardson.
And I think with Shane Stich in a solid Colts
offensive line, Michael Pittman, Josh Downs and Donnie Mitchell and
Tyler Warren, the Colts have a very underrated offense, especially
with Jonathan Taylor still running the rock. So either way,
I love that the Colts brought in Daniel Jones because

(08:49):
a lot of us bought into the Anthony Richardson hype
last year. I was one of them. And you know,
this competition is going to do two. One of two
things is that either Anthony Richardson is going to answer
the call and this is going to bring out the
best quarterback in Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones rebounds right,
and they get a better quarterback in that sense, So

(09:11):
either way, I do think this offense will be fantasy.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Friendly one way or the other.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Now Shane Stikeen is running this offense, and his offense
always features the tight ends, even going back to his
Philadelphia Eagle days, So you could be buying low on
a very underrated offense that most people think is trash
right now.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
And I get it. Quarterback situation is very murky without.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
A doubt, But like I said before, I think this
is one of the best college football tight ends I've
ever seen. And in dynasty drafts, I think he is
an elite pick because the day he does have a
decent quarterback throwing him the ball, he's going to be
a top five tight end without a doubt.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
So he is a must draft in TEE Premium league.
I would definitely take him over Loveland.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
And he's an awesome value in read you know you're
gonna get him a little bit later on. I'm personally
one of the people where it's like one of the
bills that I like to do is I take tight
ends later right, and I try to find that value,
and I think that could be Tyler Warren this year.
You know, on best ball his ADP, I believe is
around one hundred. That's a very good value, especially if
you miss out one of the elite ones like Brock

(10:20):
Bauers or Trey McBride early on. So definitely draft Tyler
Warren full confidence.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
At the end of the day.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
We saw what brock Bauers did with those two quarterbacks
last year.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
I do think Anthony.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Richardson Daniel Jones possessed more talent than the Raiders quarterbacks
last year.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
And last but not least.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Our fifth must draft rookie is Trey Harris. So Trey
Harris is one of my favorite receivers in the entire class.
And he gets a dream landing spot. So the Chargers
finally land their X receiver. You know, they chased it
with Quinton Johnston.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
It didn't work.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
A lot of us, you know, didn't like Quinton, but
we loved the landing spot. We loved, you know, just
the upside and it's like, oh man, but if this
kid could catch the ball. Didn't work out right, But
when you you know, break down Trey Harris. There's so
much to love. So the numbers speak for themselves. He's
the number one in college football. He was number one

(11:16):
in yards per route run five point two. He was
number one in receiving yards per game. He averaged seventeen
point two yards per reception, and he had his seventy
percent success rate versus press.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
And ban so.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Before his injury, he was top six in targets, number
two in receptions, number three in touchdowns across the country.
Harborough wanted to take him at one, which I think.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Is very very interesting. I think that kind of tells
how high they are on him. And what I heard
was Harboro was ready to take him in the first round.
Howitz told him, no, like we did our research, trust
our board, trust.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Our scouting department. Let's take camp in here.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
We're gonna get Harris in round two. And they were
debating a trade up. The trade up at Horitz, you know,
he said, Nope, we're gonna sit put.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
He's gonna be there.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
And it actually worked out, which is awesome if you're
a Chargers fan, you know, you get two guys that
you thought were first round towns. Now that being said,
I do think you know, I know Lad McConkie's there.
I'm a Lad McConkie stan. He is an absolute beast.
But don't worry, because they're gonna be able to coexist.

(12:29):
So think of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Right.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
So Lad mcconky is obviously the slot receiver. You know,
he did play some receiver, some routes on he had
some routes on the outside last year, but I'm sure
they'd much rather him running.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
From the slot.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
So he's gonna take over that key nown role and
you're gonna see Trey Harris really step into that Mike
Williams X role. And this is very exciting because one
Justin Herbert is a very very, if not one of
the most under quarterbacks in the entire NFL. You know,
it was only like two years ago he was going
you know, first or second in super flex drafts and

(13:08):
a lot of people forget that. Now you know, he
has two young studs, Lad and Trey Harris, who I
think is very legit, and now you know, I think
they're both going to thrive together. So I think he's
easily a thousand yard receiver. I think he's a thousand
yard rookie, I do. I think he's going to enter

(13:31):
a monster workload with Justin Herbert, and I have him
a smash pick in dynasties, like I'm taking him at
the end of the first round if I have to
reach for him, and I love him in redraft because
you're gonna get him so late he's going to go
trying to I think his ADP is like one to
twenty right now, an easy pick man, because listen, those

(13:53):
are all upside shots anyway, And the reality is is
those guys you're looking to get either somebody that you
know they're an injury away from being an elite starter,
right or you know there's there's an avenue for them to,
you know, enter a monster workload, And Trey Harris has
all of that, you know, So if he doesn't work out,

(14:14):
you could eventually drop him, right.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
But I just don't think he's not going to get
a lot of targets.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
I think he's gonna get a lot of targets early on,
and I think he's going to be peppered. So I
think he's an easy thousand yard receiver as a rookie,
and he is one of my must drafts this year.
Thank you for joining us I hope you enjoyed the content.
