Speaker 1 (00:02):
What's up, guys. I'm Marinie.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm back with the Face Off Sports Network and today
we're gonna go over three of my favorite wide receiver
sleepers for the twenty twenty five year. First, we're gonna
kick it off with Trey Harris. It's one of my
absolute favorite rookie receivers. I couldn't have asked for a
better landing spot, you know. So the it was a
perfect matchmate in heaven. You know, the Chargers they wanted

(00:25):
an X receiver and they got one of the better
ones in the class. So when you break down his numbers,
the numbers really do speak for themselves.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
He was number one in yards per route run at
five point two.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
He was number one in receiving yards per game, had
one hundred and twenty eight averaged seventeen point two yards
per reception, and he had a seventy percent success rate
versus pressing man. So those are really really good numbers
before his injury, and this is why a lot of
people thought he felt around two and he could have
been a first round pick. He was top six targets

(01:00):
in the country, number two interceptions in the country, number
three in touchdowns in the country, and Harborough actually wanted.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
To draft him in the first round.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
That's how high they were on him. He could definitely
coexist with Ladd again, he's going to play the X.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Lad's gonna play the slot.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
So think of Keenan Allium, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams,
and those were when Herbert had all of his biggest years.
So I think that's what's gonna happen to this offense.
I think Trey Harris is gonna, you know, help open
up this offense.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I think, you know, you're gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
See Trey Harris just you know, fit so perfectly into
that Mike Williams role. And Lad McConkie is still going
to be Lad McConkie from the slot. I think both
of these guys are going to eat. And you know,
again this is a bold take. I wouldn't be surprised
if Trey Harris went for one thousand yards this year.

(01:54):
I do think Herbert is still an elite quarterback. You know,
he was going one or two in super flexed drafts
two years ago.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
The Chargers, you know they were they took a dip.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
You know, they didn't have the coach, The offensive line
was in set the receivers were getting old and injured.
Harborough came up kind of changed the culture there, and
now you know, he's building an offense to set up
Justin Herbert to succeed. And I think you're gonna see
the Justin Herbert of a couple of years ago. I

(02:26):
think he's gonna really be able to air it out
to these guys. So Trey Harris is one of my
favorite rookie sleepers this year. My second sleeper is Kyle
william of the Patriots. Again, this is another player that
I love. I thought he was one of the best
separators in the class. If it wasn't for Agbuka, he
might be the number one separator. He had some really

(02:49):
good reps. If you watch his film, you know he
had a win versus Travis Hunter. So there is a
lot of upside here.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
They spent Day two capital on him. He was orderline
second round pick. Patriots took him at the top of
round three. And here's why I love Kyle Williams. So
right off the bat, he's gonna play the slot, you know.
And you go back to Drake May's days at Chapel Hill.
He loved throwing to his slot receiver. That's why Josh

(03:17):
Downs had some of those big years, and so he
could coexist with Stephan Diggs. Right, So Stephan Digg's is
gonna play the outside. I think Kyle Williams is gonna
play the slot. So I think right off the bat
year one, there's gonna be PPR value here, Okay, and
then depending on the talent, which I do like, you know,

(03:38):
it could be more of a boom.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Now, this is where it gets interesting.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Stefan Diggs is thirty one's coming off of torny acl injury,
and they're already having like off.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
The field issues with him.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I think most people are like kind of familiar with
the boat incident by now, So you know, this leaves
even more upside on a table here because let's say
they cut Stephan Diggs.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Which I actually read was a real possibility.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Again, I don't know how true this is, but when
you look at his three year contract, it really was
a one year contract, right, And again I think they
were just trying to get some reliable targets around their
quarterback that they're trying to develop in Drake May. So
I kind of like Stefan Diggs because in theory he's
Drake Maye's number one receiver. But what I don't like

(04:28):
I don't like his age. I don't like that he's
coming off an injury and injury his numbers were going
down in Buffalo. He looked decent from the slot last
year in Houston. But you know, Vrabel is a kind
of you know, no BS coach, and I don't know
how much he's gonna put up with Stephan Diggs.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
So again, if they.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Cut him, Kyle Williams goes from you know, a PPR
value in flex to a boom you know, and who
knows he could already be you know the guy even
when Stefan.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Diggs is there.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
You know, because the analytics and the numbers tell you that,
you know, Stefan Diggs.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Is in a point in his career where he could
easily fall off.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
So Kyle Williams is my second favorite sleeper and third
we'll wrap it up with Cedric Tillman.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
So I love Cedric Tillman. This kid is a stud.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
This is an awesome late stab and all you know,
startups redrafts right, So when you break down his profile,
he was a third round pickout of Tennessee. He's your
typical X receiver, really big catch radius, you know, could
run good routes. He ran a four to five and
at his size, that's really good. He was probably one

(05:37):
of the more athletic performers at the wide receiver position
for the combine his year two years ago, and you
could back that up with his nine point two two
RAD score, So you know, he is very athletic. And
I think a year three breakout is coming again. You know,
it took Nico Collins till year three to break out,
so it's not like these things are uncommon. And when

(05:58):
you know, kind of look at Cedric Tillman and it's like,
why didn't he really produce? Well, I think it was
because he was buried on the depth chart, right, and
I also think the quarterback play was kind of sucked.
So then they traded Amari Cooper right, and Jameis Winston
comes in everybody's favorite fantasy quarterback because wide receivers just

(06:20):
explode with him and lo and Beholds, Cedric Tillman takes
off right and with Jamis Winston. There was a four
game stretch because Cedric Tillman unfortunately then got a concussion
and he was out for the rest of the year. Right,
But that four game stretch with Jamis as the starting
X receiver, he had twenty four catches, three hundred and
two yards, ninety two yak yards, and three touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
So again, the upside is there. I think this kid's legit.
Who knows how long they play Flac Goo.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
That's the one downside of this where it's like, maybe
he plays half the year, Maybe they ride him out
throughout the entire year. That would be even better, right,
because then you're gonna hope that, you know, Gabriel or
Schador steps up whenever they try to get a look
at their rookie, see if they got something for the future,
You're gonna hope they could be able to get them
the ball.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
But we know Cedric.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Tillman is pretty much the other Jamis Winston in the
NFL right father time. Just he is awesome for fantasy,
like you saw him revive players like Josh Downs.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
When he took over. So I love Joe Flacco.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I think for fantasy purposes he is an awesome match
with Tilman. And you know, for me, I think Tilman
is an easy buye with Flacco. That's all I got
for you today. Guys, thanks for joining US. I hope
you know you use these sleepers.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
And they help win your leagues. Catch you next time.
