and you know we're slowly gearing upfor Sunday. So the season is in
full swing. We're already in freakingweek three and let's get to it.

hearing about our jerome Ford tags andif he's gonna be our guy, so
we might as well start with jeromeFord. Jerome Ford. Listen, he

had a really nice game. Andmy narrative building into jerome Ford, Steve
is well, they let Kareem Huntgo in the off season and let the
Ernest Johnson go in the off season. They felt confident enough to go into
this year with just jerome Ford.This was once one of the more loaded
backfields, and they must have someconfidence in Jerome Ford. And of course
they traded four Pierre Strong, buthe didn't get a lot of run with

New England. Now, the othernight, Jerome Ford has a really,
really nice game. I believe itwas over one hundred yards and a touchdown.
Pierre Strong obviously scores a touchdown aswell, but jerome Ford was pretty
dominant in that football game. Howgood is the Steelers? Well, the
forty nine ers ran it down theirthroats. We saw Cleveland run it down

their throats no matter who the runningback was. Now today, obviously Kareem
Hunt signs as expected, and everybody'stalking about the contract number. Well,
it's getting paid four million dollars.No, he's getting paid up to four
million dollars, which means to sayheavily incentivized contract. It's not a guaranteed

four million dollars, And that doesmake a difference. I think Jerome Ford's
gonna be the guy, but Ialso think that he's going to concede workload
to Kareem Hunt. They're already saying, Kareem Hunt's gonna play this week and
play significantly, and why shouldn't he? He knows this system. How I

see it falling out. I seeJerome Ford in the Nick Chubb roll,
but in the Nick Chubb row whenKareem Hunt was there, So not the
Nick Chubb roll of this year wherehe was getting everything, but in like
the Nick Chubb roll of years past, where he may be conceding like twelve
ten touches a game to Kareem Hunt. Yeah, I see it exactly the

same way. And Stefanski came outright away and said, you know,
Jerome Ford is the guy. Sowould it have been better if Kareem Hunt

role that he had with Nick Chubb. Now, is Jerome Ford nick Chubb's

talent? No, but this guydid play at Alabama for two years,
struggle with injuries whatnot, and thenhe moved over to Cincinnati and had a
pretty nice season the last year there. So and we saw that talent on
Monday night. I mean, thisguy had a really nice run. The
key is here. You know,that run blocking line has always been pretty

money, so you know, whenif there was ever going to be a
Chubb injury, you know, andJerome Ford steps into this role we knew
was he was going to be anice role for him, and it certainly
is playing behind that line in anoffense that could definitely move the ball.
I know DeShawn Watson struggle a littlebit, but you know they're still gonna
be able to move the ball.There's weapons there and is it ideal with

Hunt? No, but at thispoint. You know, you never you
never really know what's going to beavailable on the wire. You know,
if you lost Nick Chubb, Ithink you had to go up and spend
for Jerome Ford. Or if you'reyou know, not really strong at back,
or if you just want to keepadding talent. You know, I
don't mind taking a big splash earlyin FAB and going to get you know,
talented guys that are going to beput in good situations like Jerome Ford.

You know, on the whole KareemHunt thing, right, Kareem Hunt's
gonna have a role. It's justI just don't know. Like a lot
of people obviously on Fantasy Twitter,you have to split, well, it's
gonna be Jerome Ford and Kareem Huntlost his step or or Kareem Hunt knows
a system, they're getting them fourmillion dollars and it's and he's going to
be the guy. I just don'tknow if there's gonna be a de facto

choice in this backfield, at leastearly on. Obviously, if Kareem Hunt
starts getting hot, we know hecould do a little bit of everything.
But we got to keep in mindthat last season, like I think there
was a reporter or a rumor thatcame out saying that the Browns thought he
lost some speed, he lost hisstep. Career low three point eight yards
per carry and career low six yardsper catch. And this is a guy

where's previous career low was seven pointseven. So significant drop offs there from
Kareem Hunt. Yeah, for sure. And plus you know, I mean
we saw a couple of teams refusethe guy. The Browns didn't want him.
You know, is he in fullshape? Is he you know,
is he fully ready to play inNFL season? We don't know. So
that gives the edge the Ford.He's been in camp, he's been in

the system. I know he gothurt in Camp two, but he's been
there. They chose him over overHunt, So yeah, he'll be the
guy. Even if it's like asixty forty or even like a fifty five
forty five, I still think Fordhas a good amount of value. Now,
no, we're not flooding, youknow, Zach Linton's here, We're
not loaded with questions just yet likewe normally have been. So let's talk

about another running back who's definitely gonnabe out, And that's obviously, say
Quon Barkley and up until like lastnight or yeah, I think it was
like last night, Brian Gable wasnot ruling say Quan out. Always a
fast heeler, I'm not gonna rulehim out yet. Well, he's officially
ruled out, which is to beexpected. This is a short week.

But and I set this on mysa Quan reaction. I think I said
it on Monday as well, thatif this game was played on Sunday or
Monday, I do think there's achance that sa Quon Barkley's playing against San
Francisco forty nine ers. They're sayingit's a three week injury. It is
the best possible case scenario for thistype of an ankle sprain. Like it's

not a high ankles, it's aregular ankle sprain. I guess I don't
know what the medical term is,but but you know, sa Quan could
realistically return as soon as next week. I don't see this going too far
past three weeks at the max,barring any type of setbacks. So no
sa Quon Barkley Tomorrow night. It'sgonna be Brita, It's gonna be bright

well, but I do expect theheavy dose of Daniel Jones. So like,
Steve, are you starting Matt Britaright well? Or you're like,
you know what, Like, I'mnot even gonna touch this backfield right now,
I'll be honest. I mean,it might come down to that in
some leagues, depending on what's available, you know, especially as me.

I lost Chubb in a lot ofleagues. I lost JK. Dobbins in
a lot of leagues. You know, you got Barkley out, now,
you got Eckler out. There's aton of running backs out of play right
now. So out of desperation,yeah, I would probably use Brita.
You know, hopefully maybe he canget you ten points. Not in a
great matchup against the Niners. Youknow, bright Well could get more carries

in him. I suppose Eric Gray, he's kind of playing on special teams.
He's a rookie. You know,they're probably gonna go with the veterans
and Breeda and bright Well here.But yeah, out of desperation, I
would, And you know, Ithink it's a smart move. Fall back
on, say quant get the longday, you know, get the full
rest, get the ten days off, get them back healthy. You know,
no need to rush him out there. Reaggravate things make things worse for

him, because he looked awesome inthat game against Arizona and the way he
reacted, you know, we allthought it was going to be serious,
really serious, because he looked really, really pissed. But thank god,
he's he's fine. It looks like, Steve, we're gonna cut the you

to go too far into this.If you're desperate, yes, you're obviously
going to start Matt Breeder tomorrow night, but I would temper expectations now.
San Francisco usually a tough matchup.They completely dismantled Pittsburgh, but Kiren Williams

now one of the best running backsin fantasy football. I believe he's like
the second best running back right now. So you can run on San Francisco.
Like their defense isn't as lights outas they expect it to be.
Last week, Kiren twenty eight fantasypoints fourteen to fifty two on the ground,
six or forty eight as a receiver. So yeah, like I guess

if you have to start Matt Brita, start Matt Breta. But I but
Steve, like, we gotta getinto some breaking news. Oh shit,
and the breaking news. We havea trade. And as I said on
this show, cam Makers, heis being traded to the Minnesota Vikings.

He's reuniting with Kevin O'Connell. Steve, I said it on this show.
This was an easy puzzle piece toput together of what team needed cam Makers,
and I think the domino was KareemHunt once because you know the Browns
also fielded calls or cam Makers,but once they brought in Kareem Hunt,

this was a logical move for camMakers to be traded to Minnesota with his
old offensive coordinator. And this issignificant and this totally like I can see
Miles Gaskin going away. I cansee like ty Chandler forget about him.
But this certainly impacts Alexander Madison.You know Alexander Madison, highly drafted,

highly touted, and he's not themost talented running back in the world,
but he was almost It's like RashadWhite, where okay, he wasn't efficient
last year, but he's gonna getall the touches. So we're gonna draft
him and Alexander Madison. We seehis a DP rise after Dalvin Cook because
he's gonna get all of the touches. And yeah, he's gotten all the

touches. Eleven for thirty four anda receiving touchdown in week one, eight
for twenty eight and three of eleven, like all the touches that there are
in a lot of touches to behad because number one, he wasn't very
efficient with them. Number two,the Vikings were throwing the hell out of
the football. And that's exactly whatI said all offseason, like how much

is he gonna get? This isa throwing football team. Kirk Cousins a
top two fantasy quarterback, and nowwe factor in Cam Akers, who we
know he's a good running back.For whatever reason, this is the second
straight year that he wound up inSean mcbage's doghouse and he's finally out of
town, which I think for somecase, in the case of some players,

this is the best case scenario.So see, what are we gonna
do here? I've been telling peoplefor a couple of days now, and
if you look on Twitter, it'slike do I cut camp. Everybody's saying,
yeah, cook cam Makers, youshould have cut them when they deactivated
them. But you're ignoring there werea Sunday report that he was on the
trading block, So I was tellingpeople the opposite, don't cut cam Makers
because he's gonna go to Cleveland orhe's gonna go to Minnesota. And he's

in Minnesota in a really nice situation, Steve, where are you at with
cam Makers in fantasy? Yeah?And last year we thought he was gonna
get traded. This year, thesame shit happens again, and I think
there's some contract issues. So yeah, they ship them off this year to
Minnesota, and yeah, I meanit gets murky for Madison. Now,
how is this going to work out? Is it gonna be a fifty fifty

split? Is Acre's gonna take hisjob? It's gonna be I think it's
gonna be a you know, amix. I think maybe Madison starts out
with more in the beginning. Butagain, this team wasn't even running the
ball that much anyway, because youknow, Kirk Cousins slinging in around and
shootouts once again for the Vikings.So we're just gonna have to wait and
see. I'm not I'm not reallycomfortable throwing out Madison and Acres just yet,

and he definitely shouldn't have cut him, definitely not especially you know,
with this running back landscape the wayit is, I mean gravity running back
you can get at this freaking point. So yeah, let's just wait and
see how it works out. Ithink Acres has a definite shot to overtake
Madison here. I completely agree,and we have you know, everybody in

the chats reacting to this STL fan, mister discount, you know, Zaxon
here, Albertson here, william Eis saying it won't help. I kind
of disagree. I think the Ithink cam Akers I held a lot more
athletic and he can do a lotmore than Alexander Madison and Madison, let's
face it, like he's just agood number two. I don't think he
was ever like supposed to be thestarting running back. So Albert is asking,

what do we do with Alexander Madisonnow, Well, considering Alexander Madison
start to the year, which youknow I just went over it, it
hasn't been good. And if itwasn't for a week one touchdown, it's

and Alexander Madison. If you tradehim, you're not gonna get much

certainly would not cut him, atleast I don't think I cut him yet,

this is kind of it's kind ofclose. Madison I still think has

the edge right now. He's theguy there, and I think this is
kind of a this is on Tiedchannel a little bit too. And Dwayne
McBride, you know, they draftedhim in the seventh round. The talent
behind Madison wasn't great. God forbid, Madison goes down. They got to
rely on those guys, so thatgives them depth there as well. But
at the same time, Acres isgoing to have a chance to earn a

nice role here and eventually, maybeyou know, overtake Madison. So right
now, I think you sit back, you hold both these guys. You
wait and see what happens. Youplay other options. Now, if you
have to throw one of them outthere, or you know, if you
have to throw either one out there, I mean you throw them out there,
you know, in desperation. Butideally you just kind of want to
wait and see how the situation develops. Now, contrary to contrary to like

Kareem Hunt, he knowed, hewas just there, knows the system.
It's been a little bit longer sincecam Akers has been with oc West Phillips
and Kevin O'Connell, but he doesknow the you know, the philosophies of

they have JT too, Like I'myou know, or you know, some
people try to go and I wouldgo they maybe they drafted Camara and JT
and they lost and they lost Joband they're sitting there like, what the
fuck do I do? I wouldgo with Acres totals fifty four in that
game with the Chargers, so uh, probably gonna be thrown to the backs

a little bit. Acres is agood receiving back. He can catch the
ball out of the backfield. Sothe Niners matchup against the Giant, I
mean, the Giants match up againstthe Niners sucks. The Browns are playing
the Titans. We saw what theydid, just did the Josh Kelly that's
a tough rund. Now they coulduse Hunt in the passing game too,
where he's been effective, But I'llgo with cam Akers there. So you

would start Cam Akers over Kareem Huntand Matt Rita. Yeah, if and
and that's if cam We don't knowif Cam Akers is playing this week,
but I'm saying in that scenario,if he does, yeah, And you
gotta pay attention to the reports,like you know, if there's any indication
that they're just gonna you know,like there's if there's indication though, we're
gonna throw a hunt there out rightaway. If we're gonna throw acres out

by that as well. I wouldsay between it's between hunting akers though for

Aiyuk is a player who might notplay this week, so that that's something

it doesn't sound like it's gonna besomething very serious. Maybe he misses a
week at most, so you're gettingAyuku. You know, we talked about

in that game. They kind offeatured him because IOUK was a little bit

season and then Etn good Week one, bad Week two. But that's the

last game. Deannist Johnson had twotouches. So Etn's way ahead of these

Also, you remember Akers did havethat Achilles injury, so how how do
the affects his overall? You know, he's probably a different player without that
injury. Still effective again, threegames last year, a hundred yard games
in a row. I just don'tknow what the hell was happening there with
McVeigh. It's just a very strangesituation. Seems like if you get in

like a Shanahan and McVeigh doghouse,it's it's like it's no coming out.
It's so weird how these guys are. That's true. So William does have
a question, and it's an interestingone on James Cook. Does The usage
of Latavius Murray on the goal lineworry us for James Cook number one.

It worries me for Damien Harris.I think that's the bigger like if you
spent like you know, I don'tknow where Harris was going, but it
was not exactly like a late lateround pick, but like you know,
maybe twelfth round, eleventh round.He's been non existent and Murray is getting

the short yardage work and Murray isvery, very dependable. It's been around
for a very long time now.Latavius Murray gets into the end zone.

gonna have a role. They're gonnavulture touchdowns, but James Cook is your
guy in this backfield. Has yetto score a touchdown, but double digit
PPR points and back to back gamespops from nineteen point nine PPR points seventeen
for Buck twenty three and then fourfor thirty six. But is important here

when it comes to James Cook.He's had at least four targets and back
to back games and four receptions andback to back games and obviously a season
best six targets in week one.So the usage is exactly what we want,
Like, we want this usage forJames Cook. Yeah, And we
talked about James Cook. We bothliked him. We talked about him having

games over one hundred total yards.You're probably gonna get multiple games like that.
And you know, Week two wasa nice matchup against the Raiders and
he's smashed seventeen for one to twentythree, four catches for thirty six yards
RB thirteen on the day. Yeah, I'm not you know Murray. Yeah,
he's like thirty three years old.It's amazing what he's done. He
just goes from team to team andhe keeps producing. He's producing, and

you know, Murray's probably gonna havea little bit of value, But yeah,
James Cook in between the numbers,he's so explosive. He looks great
out there. Josh Allen's throwing theball, he's turning the corner, he's
making big plays. So you know, if I have James Cook, I
feel very happy about it. Rightnow, let's go to our next question.
Jarrett on Facebook. He needs arunning back in a flex this week

Naji Harris Pacheco, and I thinkPacheco might be up in the air to
play Roshan Johnson, Terry McLaurin Atwellor Josh Reynolds. So he needs a
running back and a flex. Allright, we got Najy, we got
Rosanna Pacheco, Roshan mcclaurin at Well, Josh Reynolds running back in a flex.

I think i'd go Terry. Youknow, he connected with Howell and
that nice deep post pass seems likehe's passed that turf toe now at least,
or maybe he's not even one hundredpercent, but still, you know,
you can't can't argue with you know, catching a deep ball like that
look great there, So I thinkhe's you know, almost all the way
back. If not one hundred percenthealthy Nagy, who do they get this

week? They get the Raider.That is a nice matchup. Everybody ships
on Naji. Everybody hates Naji.They're they're saying he looks like AJ Dillon
out there, shit like that.But you know, we saw those two
runs against Cleveland, who has agood defensive line. He played the Niners
in Week one. Now the Steelersoffensive line is not blocking as good as

I like, But this is agood matchup. This could be a smash
spot here on Sunday night for Naji. You know, this is a game
where he could fall into the endzone a couple of times. Obviously I
like two too out well, andwhat he's doing so far, he looks
really good. Stafford slinging the ballaround. Pacheco, like you said,
is a little bit banged up.May not even play in this game,

Roshawn Johnson and we all kind oflike him to take that RB one eventually
from Herbert, but not quite thereyet. This is a game where he
could catch a lot of balls tooout of the backfield. But you know,
we thought he was gonna have agood game last week wasn't great,
So there was one of one morereceiver there, Josh Reynolds. Josh Reynolds,
yeah, story and josh REYLDS hada great start to the season.
But we've seen this kind of fromJosh Reynolds where he's had a couple of

splash games then he kind of disappearsoff the face of the planner. But
this could be a career year forJosh Arnolds. But I'm going to gold
McLaurin and Nazzy there. I'm gonnago with Najy Harris as well. He
was a flag plan for me lastweek and it kind of blew up in
my face. And you know,Steve set it right the offensive line.
And I also blame it on KennyPickett. You can stack the box against

Pittsburgh Steelers with how pitiful Kenny Pickettlooks right now, but wasn't for big
plays by George Pickens. You know, Kenny Pickett looks terrible also, And
they set it on the broadcast.Anytime Naji touched the ball, there were
three million white jerseys, and anytimeJalen Warren caught the ball, there was

open lanes. To be fair,Jalen Warren was not rushing the football effectively.
He made his plays as a receiverout of the backfield where Najy Harris
had those two big runs and madethe plays happen. I remember he reversed
field and found some daylight. SoI'm gonna be in on Nagy Harris this
week. The matchups there. TheRaiders have been run on in the first

two games of the year, andI think Pittsburgh's gotta be smart and try
to pound this football established the runbecause that's the only way you're gonna get
Kenny Pickett uh to throw better.You need to play off the play action
