La mattina di Pasqua nel mio prato
un uovo arcobaleno ho trovato,
era un uovo profumato e strano
non più grande di una mano.
Quando l’ho aperto, con stupore
ho trovato sorprese d’ogni colore:
giallo il sorriso d’un cinesino,
rosso il canto di un algerino,
azzurro il sorriso di uno svedese,
verde la capriola di un portoghese,
violetta la danza di mille bambine,
indaco i suoni di mille ocarine.
E arancione rotondo e paffuto
un sole caldo di benvenuto,
un sole caldo paffuto e rotondo
uguale per tutti i bimbi del mondo.
