Without that, we have nothing and we are nothing. I
praise you for my family, for my wife, my son's
daughter in law's grandchildren, our furry kids. Lord, we just
love you and love them because you created them and
you put them in our life, and we are so grateful.

We're also grateful that you sent you Sure, your only
begotten son, to pay our debts so that we could
be in the right relationship and reconciled with you. Lord.
There are no words to express the love that we

feel for what you did. But you suffered on the cross.
My heart hurts every time I talk about it. But
I know that without that, I wouldn't be sitting here,
and I wouldn't be able to praise you. Because you

are a risen savior. You're not just a dead prophet.
You are Messiah. So the tomb is empty, that cross
is bare, and when you ascended into heaven. You sent
the Holy Spirit back, and you filled us in the
upper room. And then you filled us as we've gotten saved,

and we are filled right now by the power of
your Holy Spirit. And if your sons and daughters listening
that do not have that, I pray that in your
grace and your mercy you would spontaneously just touch them
and fill them from the toppy their heads to the
bottom of their feet. Well, thank you for this time.

to protect us, protect all that we have, no distractions,
protect the technology, no interference of the enemy. We bind
the enemy in every way, shape and form, and declare
and decree that he is null and void. And then

All right, I apologize if I sound nasally. We are
in the middle of that spring pollen. Everything is covered
in yellow and you breathe it in and it just drives.
You're crazy and my allergies are in overdrive. So just again, apologies,

got a lot to cover. The Holy Spirit is setting
up the weeks ahead, so we're going to set up
the ground work now. And also, you know, I wasn't
sure where I was going to go. Each week, I
wait for the Lord. I don't plan everything out. I
wait to see what he has to say and wait
for him to confirm his word. In the beginning of

the confirmation came the other day while I was talking
to my cousin Robert. So Robert our conversation helped to
inspire this Bible study. Don't let it go to it
just our conversation that I was involved with it too,
so we kind of share the inspiration. But I want
to give credit where credit is due. I ended last

week with a quote from C. S. Lewis. It said,
if I find, if I find in myself a desire
which no experience in this world can justify, the most
probable explanation is that I was made for another world
(07:40):
and that has resonated with me all week that I
was made for another world. We were made for another world.
The written not of this world. The Home Bible Dictionary
(08:01):
defines world as generally refers to what we call today
the earth. Sometimes its meaning seems to include the heavenly
bodies as well. On other occasions, it is used to
refer to things in this quote world, even if to
the time in which we live in the age of
(08:23):
this world. In the New Testament, the most common word
for world and the Greek is cosmos. This often carries
the notion of an ordered or regimented world that is
open to observation. In the understanding. Now there's another word, aon.
(08:44):
It's used to speak of the world. Literally means the age.
So in the world age or this age, And we
say quoted as such. Go with me to John chapter fifteen,
starting verse eighteen. Read letters. She was said, if the
world hates you, you know that it hated me before

it hated you. If you were of the world, the
world would love its own. Yet, because you are not
of this world. But I chose you out of this world.
Therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I
said to you. A servant is not greater than his master.

If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If
they kept my word, they will keep yours also. But
all things they will do to you for my name's sake.
But all these things, I'm sorry. But all these things
they will do to you for my name's sake because
they do not know him who sent me. If I

had come and spoke to them, they would have no sin.
But now they have no excuse for their sin. He
who hates me hates my father. Allo. So if I
had not done among them the works which no one
else did, they would have no sin. But now they
have seen and also hated both me and my father.

But this happened that the word might be fulfilled, which
is written in their law. They hated me without cause.
Expect the world to hate you. If you're going to
be of another world, they're gonna hate you. They don't

want anything that reminds them of who they are or
who they're not. You should have predicted it. The world
hates reproof, It hates rebuke. It hates to be shown
their faults or their errors. It hates to be disproven.

That was the purpose of the Holy Spirit of Yilga
John sixteen, starting verse eight. Speaking about the Holy Spirit,
he says, when he has come, he will convict the
world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, of sin,
because they do not believe in me. Of righteousness because
I go to my father and you see me no more.

Of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
So the presence of the Holy Spirit in us inspires
that feeling from the world, because the Holy Spirit will
teach people the true meaning of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

Two Timothy three, p. Sixteen. All scripture is given by
inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That's why the world
doesn't want the Bible, doesn't want in their rooms, doesn't
want in their courts. It's been trying to push it

out of everything. It hasn't succeeded, but it's going to
keep trying. Ephesians five, starting verse eleven. Take no part
and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises
of darkness, but instead let your lives be someone contrast,
(12:34):
as to expose and reprove and convict them, For it
is a shame even to speak of or mention the
things that such people practice in secret. The world does
not want any indication that what they're doing is wrong.

And we are living testaments to His righteousness, to his word,
to the reality of his existence. She was said to
nic Nemus in John three nineteen. And this is the
condemnation that the world has, that the light has come
into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light
(13:19):
because their deeds were evil. The light, you, sue, of
the light of the world has come into the world,
but people loved darkness rather than light because they wanted
to hide their evil deeds. And the darkness. Don't expose me.
Don't shine that light over here, Get that light out

of my eyes. Our life in the Lord shines outward
and exposes everything of darkness. By our actions. Exposure brings
correction of their error in accordance with His word. Evils

are exposed by how we live Romans twelve, verses one

living sacrifice holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, But be

transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will
of God. Do not be conformed to this world, to
this age, fashioned after adapted to its external superficial and

I will add sometimes demonic customs. But be transformed, be changed,
Go through a metamorphosis by the entire renewal of your mind.
It's new ideals and new attitude, so that you may
prove for yourself what is the good and acceptable, perfect

will of God, even the thing which is good and
acceptable and perfect in His sight for you. Be changed.
Be transformed right now in the name of your sure
Any part of your mind that is not in conformity
with His word and His will, let it be changed.

And don't let the world's example mold you into a
copy of it. Your pattern of living and thinking should
challenge worldly living and thinking. That's why they don't want
to hear it. They don't want to see it, they

don't want to know it. But we have got to
be living examples of the righteousness of God Colustions three,
verse eight. But now you, yourselves, are to put off
all of these anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out
of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since

you have put off the old man with his deeds,
and have put on the new man, which is renewed
in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
That's the struggle with your flesh. It's always battling to
get back in control. But by submitting to his will,
(16:38):
you show it as acceptable to God. Submission, giving up
your rights, giving up your desire for his which will
always be better. Titus chapter two, verses eleven and twelve.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared
to all men, teaching us that denying on godliness and
(17:03):
worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly. In
the present age. It's the battle that we're in. We've
been saved by grace, and we're constantly a work in progress.

So darkness is exposed by our light. Remember what she
was said to Nicodemus. I'm going to repeat it again.
He who believes in Him is not condemned, But he
who does not believe is condemned already because he has
(17:44):
not believed in the name of the only begotten Son
of God. What is the condemnation, what is the judgment?
Light has come into the world, and they love darkness

comes up and gives you a word of knowledge, speaks
of revelation. Knowledge speaks a word of wisdom and their
right that we quickly repent. Philippians two verses fourteen fifteen.

Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may
become blameless and harmless children of God without fault, in
the midst of a crooked, perverse generation, among whom you
shine as lights in the world that has never changed.
(19:18):
This planet, our society, is a crooked and perverse generation,
from generation to generation until they become born again. The
other reason the world hates us is because the world
(19:39):
is blind and the blind, or leading the blind into
a ditch, And right about now it's a very crowded ditch.
Second Grand Second Corinthians four of uses two through four.
But we have renounced the hidden things of shap not

walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully,
but by the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves every
man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our
gospel is veiled, it has veiled to those who are perishing,

do not believe. Lest the light of the Gospel, of
the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God,
should shine on them. Well, how does he shine on them?
Through us? Shine, Shine, shine, Let it shine. As believers

in Yeshuah, we're not of this world. We shouldn't be
of this world. Before Yeshua left, before he died on
the cross, then rose from the grave and ascended to
sit at the hand of the Father. He told the
disciples in John seventeen, Verses fifteen and sixteen. Speaking to
(21:06):
the Father, he says, they do not ask you to
take them out of the world, but that you keep
them and protect them from the evil, and they are
not of this world, just as I am not of
the world. How did we lose that? How did we forget?
The Church is not of this world. We're not to
(21:31):
go along with this world. We're not to assimilate worldly
things into our ways or thinking. Because we're a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, a holy nation, his own, special people,
that we may proclaim the praises of Him who has
(21:54):
called us out of darkness into his marvelous light, who
were once not a people, but are now the people
of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have
obtained mercy one Peter two, Verses nine and ten. In
(22:15):
case you didn't notice, we're in a war, and this
world is at war with the believers in Yeshua, the
world is at war with the Church. Unfortunately, the Church
is abdicated. We're not as much at war the world
as we used to be. John sixteen thirty three. Of
(22:37):
these things I've spoken to, Yshu has said that in
me you may have peace. In the world, you will
have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome
the world had medical I had an appointment today, doctor's
appointment yearly checkup. So of course you go in and
(22:57):
they ask you all these silly questions. Are you depressed? No, well,
do you have any thoughts that bother you or that
you can't get control of? And I said no, because
if I do, I pray, and I'm not depressed, because
I know who my Lord Savior is, and I take

all things to him. Thankfully, she was a believer, and
she nodded her head and said, yep, yes, yes. And
I thought at that moment the Holy Spirit filled the room,

against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
the spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore,
take up the whole armor of God, that you may
be able to withstand in the evil day. And having

done all to stand, you know. We did that long
series on the Armor of God, and it's up there
to you to listen to. If you didn't hear it,
each and every day as you get up and go
out into the world, you should see it in your mind.
You should have it. Your mind should be protected, your
(24:46):
heart should be protected. You should be walking in truth.
You should be walking in the power. You should have
the sword of the spirit, you should have the shield
of faith. It doesn't mean you have to go cutting
and slashing through life. It just means you have it
if you need it. We need to walk in victory.
We are overcomers. First John five, verses four and five.
(25:10):
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And
this is the victory that has overcome the world. Our faith.
Who is he that overcomes the world. But he who
believes that, you're sure, is the Son of God. That's
(25:30):
what I was telling that assistant for the doctor today.
My faith has overcome this world. My faith has overcome
fear and depression and all those things. The world hates God.
It has a natural enmity to it. First John four
(25:52):
to four. Adulterers and adulter says, do you not know
that friendship with the world is with God. It's hatred
with God. Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of
the world makes themselves an enemy of God. And yet
(26:12):
over and over on social media and all these other places,
what do I see? I see so called believers getting
friendly with the world. We should hate its ways and
live separated from it. First John two, verses fifteen through seventeen,
(26:33):
The amplified do not love or cherish the world or
the things in the world. If anyone loves the world,
love for the Father is not in him, Meaning, if
you love your heavenly Father, then you're not going to
love the things of the world because the world hates him.
Why would I love something that hates him? For all
(26:54):
that is in the world, the lust of the flesh,
craving for sensual gratification, and lust of the eyes, the
greedy longings of the mind, and the pride of life,
assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of
earthly things. These do not come from the Father, but
are from the world itself. And the world is passing
(27:17):
away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings. The
passionate desires the lust of it. But he who does
the will of God, carries out his purposes in their life, abides.
They remain forever in his will, walking with him, loving him.
(27:42):
If you love him, you can't love the world. If
you love the world, then you don't love him. I'm
a very loyal person, loyal to a fault, some might say.
And if I love you, if I care about you,
we're family, if we're friends, if I'm in a committed
(28:03):
situation of friendship or familial love, or if somebody says
anything wrong about you, I'm going to stand up for you.
I'm going to correct them. If somebody threatens you, then
I'm going to get in between them and you and
stand up to them. I'm not going to allow them
(28:26):
to disrespect you. That's what love does. Why do we
allow the world to disrespect God and our beliefs and
our faith and what we stand for and not stand
up and say, excuse me, my father's last name is
not Damn. And the fact that you, knowing that I'm
a believer and could say that means you have no
(28:48):
respect for me. Please don't do that again. And if
they can hount of your wishes, then you shouldn't associate
with such people. James One twenty seven. External religious worship,
that's religion as expressed in our outward acts, that is
(29:09):
pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father.
Is this to visit, help and care for the orphans
and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep
oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world. Being contaminated by
the world has fatal consequences to a believer. John Wesley says,
(29:36):
if after having renounced all, we do not watch incessantly
and beseech God to accompany our vigilant with his we
shall be again entangled and overcome. What a horrible, horrible
place for believers to get having once known the truth,
(30:00):
having once been saved, escaped the pollutions of the world
through a full personal knowledge of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus the Messiah. You're sure, Hamasia, if they again become entangled,
entangled in the world and our overcome, their last condition

is worse for them than the first. For never have
to obtain a full personal knowledge of the Way of
righteousness would have been much better for them than having
obtained such knowledge, and then to turn back from the

That's our ministry. I saw a video. I didn't really

watch it because yeah, I didn't agree with all of it,
and I won't mention it, but it kind of touched
on a pet peeve. I have that there is no
such thing as a deliverance ministry, and when somebody says
they're part of a deliverance ministry, I immediately know that
they don't know what they're talking about. Deliverance is an
(32:24):
aspect of Yashua's ministry. And because I did a lot
of deliverance is because I've done them. Oh you're a
deliverance ministry. No I'm not. You have a deliverance ministry,
don't you know? I have a Yashua ministry, and one
aspect of that is deliverance. It's also preaching the word.

It's also holiness, it's also healing. It's every aspect of
who he is. We don't specialize in Yashia. That was
never part of the equation. So stop creating late for
yourself and thinking you're special or singling yourself out as
(33:05):
something you're not. I've met a lot of people who
thought they were something. They were nothing to me. So
any person, if anyone is ingrafted into Messiah, they're a
new creation, a new creature. Altogether, the old, previous moral
(33:26):
and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and
new has come. So if at any time you see
the old aspects of yourself rear their head, and I've
seen it happen from time to time, I call it
a zombie that wakes up and wants to be fed.

If you feed it. It's going to come back to life.
What it wants is flash yours. Don't feed it. Put
it back to sleep, pray, put it under the blood,
ask for somebody to pray for you. Your new creation.
Act like one. The world is ignorant of God, absolutely

totally ignorant. Oh, they've seen stories told about him, they've
seen depictions of him, but they're really ignorant to the
reality of God. They know religion, but they don't know him.
(34:36):
You can't get to know him without Yashua because he
and the Father are one, and once you know him,
you know the Father. So without him you can't. You
can't know anything about God. Remember the Lord said, I
(35:01):
read this before and read it again. A servant is
not greater than his master. If they persecuted him, they're
going to persecute us if they kept his word. And
if they keep it, they will keep yours also when
(35:25):
you share. But all these things they will do to
you for his namesake, because they don't know him, nor
do they know the one who sent him. If he
had not come in the flesh and walked this earth
and said and did what he did, they'd have no sin.
(35:46):
And I'm not just talking about the Jews, I'm talking
to the world, but they have no excuse for their
sin because he came, he spoke, and he did exactly
what Messiah would do. And anyone who hates him hates
(36:07):
the Father. Also, so because we're of another world, because
we don't belong here, because this is not our home,
the world will persecute you, and they will treat us
with malignant intent, with malice in their heart. And of
(36:33):
course in John fifteen he was talking about the Pharisees
who were at that very moment plotting to kill him.
But it still applies all over the world. We're seeing
this in most of the other nations around the world.
Christianities being outlawed and Christianed are either being imprisoned or killed.
(37:00):
In Syria, they're being slaughtered. On the news the other day,
and I posted on social media, whether Instagram or Facebook.
I'm surprised I haven't gotten in trouble yet because I
posted NonStop about what's happening, not just to the Jews,
but to the Christians in Syria. There was a story
(37:21):
about one young man. They captured him and they threatened
him denounce Jesus, to denounce your Christianity. He said no,
he wouldn't even take the cross from around his neck,
(37:42):
so they killed him. They cut his heat off. The
enemies in full empowered mode right now, the shedding of
blood and the power that they're getting from the shed
blood and the pain and all that they're causing right
now to filling their storage batteries getting ready for something.
(38:08):
We should be filling our storage batteries with the power
of the Holy Spirit. So the world hatred of Yeshiah
then and now is a sin against God. It's a
rejection of God because he revealed that he and the
(38:29):
Father were won. Messiah and the Father are one. So
anyone who hates him hates the Father. It's that simple.
I try to explain that some people I believe in God,
but I don't believe in this Jesus guy. But I'm sorry,
(38:55):
you have a problem. So the harassment and suffering that
people and institutions, both government and social and religious are
going to be inflicted upon those who are different because
(39:15):
of our faith in Yeshua, because we don't believe in
their worldview, because we don't accept their culture. And so
what they're going to do, They're going to persecute us.
They're going to seek to intimidate us, to silence us
and punish us. Again, we don't see that yet here
(39:37):
in the West. In America, we currently have an administration
thankfully that won't allow that to happen. But if that
should go away, it will happen. Two Timothy three to twelve. Yes,
all who desire to live godly in Messiah issue will
(39:59):
suffer persecution. Remember what I said about they don't don't
bring that over here. Don't make me look bad. Don't
tell me that what I'm doing is wrong. Don't tell
me that what I'm doing is the sin. And oh
my goodness, don't you dare say that what I'm doing
is demonica of the devil. I just call it like
(40:23):
I see it. Sorry if you take it personally. Blest
are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs
is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when they
revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil
(40:45):
against you falsely for his sake, Rejoice and be exceedingly glad,
for great is your reward in heaven. For so they
persecuted the prophets who were before you Matthew five Versus
ten and twelve, Sermon on the Mount. Blessed are those
(41:09):
who persecuted for righteousness sake. That's the foundation of the Church.
The blessings come from who we are and what we do,
and those things will cause a problem in this world,

which is why many believers don't like to go into
the world. They don't want to share the gospel. They
don't want to be agents of change in a dying
world that's going to hate it and hate them. I
personally never had that problem, but many do. And I'm
not telling you to be offensive. But if speaking the
(41:54):
truth and love and trying to rescue somebody offends them,
do it anyway. It's the example he set. It's what
he did with the disciples, the foundation that were built
on the Book of Acts Church were persecuted. Matthew ten
(42:17):
sixteen through twenty three. He said to the disciples, behold,
I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves.
Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But
beware of men, for they will deliver you up to
councils and scourge you in their synagogues. You will be
(42:39):
brought before governors and kings for my sake, as the
testimony to them and to the gentiles, which has costs,
of course, prophecy of what was coming, especially for Paul.
But when they deliver you up, do not worry about
how or what you should speak, for it will be
given to you in that hour which you should speak.
(43:01):
But it's not you who speak, but the spirit of
your Father, who is in you. How bad's gonna get? Lord, Well,
brother will deliver a brother to death and to father
his child. Then children will rise up against parents and
cause them to be put to death. And you will
be hated by all for my name's sake. But he
(43:25):
endures to the end, will be saved. When they persecute this,
persecute you in this city, flee to another. For surely
I say to you, you will not have gone through
the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
If they persecute you here, like be with pollen, take
(43:48):
it to the next place and plant it there. Keep moving,
keep going. Don't oh woe with me. I'm gonna huh.
Believe to study. Bible says hostility is the general attitude
of the world, especially towards the Gospel effectiveness depends upon
(44:14):
life and presentation, characterized by the sincerity or blamelessness of
a dove, which must be taken in the sense of
not exercising deceit. Furthermore, the wisdom or cunning of a
serpent will be most beneficial. Snakes are silent and dangerously smart,
(44:39):
and doves are harmless, indicating their purity and their innocence.
But I've shared this with you before. If you threaten
a dove's family, they will fight you to the death
for the little ones, so they can be ferocious. Just
we're warned not to be deceitful in our actions. Tell
(45:02):
the truth and love, don't deceive people, don't trick them.
I've shared the story before. I don't think i've shared
it a while. Very close friend that I pray for
to get saved. He one of the first people I
got close to in the acting world. My boys consider
him an uncle. I consider him my brother. It was
(45:26):
dating and girl that he was very serious about thought
that they'd get married, and she decided to take him
to a play. She bought tickets for a play and
he went, and it was to El Shadai and it
(45:48):
was an evangelism event and he felt deceived, he felt betrayed,
and he broke off the relationship, and many years later
he realized that he messed up. He let the good
one get away. If she had not been deceitful and
(46:09):
tricked him into going to something I'm sure she was
told to do that, that wouldn't have happened. We don't
need to be deceitful. We don't need to trick people
into hearing the gospel. Tell them the truth and love,
tell them your story, share your testimony, let him know
why you believe what you believe. And let's get real.

There're gonna be wolves out there and among the people
we go to. They're gonna be wolves in the churches
you try to go sit in. And like I said,
churches as an external entity created by men, they're filled
with wolves. Don't be like them. Have you experienced the
(46:59):
hate for being a believer for His namesake? I have.
I've experienced it from family members when I told them
the truth about their beliefs about the Bible, comparing what
they believe with the Bible about the lifestyles they live.
I've shared it in love, no condemnation, but I've been
(47:20):
real clear that when they stand before God. They're rolling
the dice that he's going to accept the way that
they think over the way that he thinks. I've been rejected,
I've been shunned, I've been cut out of lives. I'm sorry.
It's who I am. The persecution of the church that began.
(47:50):
Then that we have now required the Lord send a helper.
And this is where I think he's taking this, talking
about the persecution, talking about everything that's going on, especially
now in the world. It is a supernatural demonic hatred. Therefore,
(48:12):
you need a supernatural response to a supernatural problem. Wait,
that sounds familiar. Supernatural problems need a supernatural solution. John fifteen,
studying verse twenty six. Now when the helper comes, the
(48:33):
Paraclitos and the Greek, whom I shall send to you
from the Father, the spirit of truth, who proceeds literally
emanates from the Father. He will testify of me. You
should have said, and you and I will bear witness
because to the disciples, he said, you've been with me
(48:54):
from the beginning, and I believe since we've been baptizing
the spirit, we're all connected to them. And then he
continues on in John sixteen, these things I've spoken to
you that you should not be made to stumble. They
will put you out of synagogues. Yes, time is coming
that whoever kills you will think he offers God's service.
(49:19):
And these things they will do to you because they
have not known the Father nor me. But these things
I have told you that when the time comes, you
may remember that I told you of them. And these
things I didn't not say to you in the beginning
because I was with you. And that's exactly what happened.
(49:40):
Saul persecuted the church, killed believers, destroyed their homes, tried
to destroy their faith, thinking he was doing it for God.
The most upsetting thing you can feel is to have
your eyes opened and realized that the whole time you
(50:01):
were doing, what you were doing wasn't of God, was
of Satan and the fallen. Though the world's hatred because
we're not of his world, I'm talking about the enemy's world,
Satan's world. We're not under his control, will inspire persecution,
(50:25):
but in the process will be a witness against the
enemy and against the world. All of these persecuted believers
around the world who refuse to recamt or reject Jesus
(50:45):
An entire family wiped out in Syria, mother, father, children.
It's a witness these people will not reject the Lord,
even in the face of death. So what happens is
(51:10):
when a disciples speaks, and we're disciples, I have a
robe of Toga sandals, and I'm kidding, we're disciples. So
when we speak as when they spoke, the Holy Spirit
brings inner conviction to unbelievers regarding Messiah, and that makes
(51:34):
us witnesses for Yeshua. Every chance I get, I share
with people why I believe what I believe. So being
made for another world, the one to come, empowers the
(51:55):
Church to overcome this world. The Lord and the Holy
Spirit wants us to overcome this world, to be overcomers.
The problem is we don't have a whole lot of
(52:15):
examples of that. I saw this quote by Leonard Ravenhill,
and it really struck me as befitting of what I'm
talking to you about. The true Man of God is
heart sick, grieved at the worldliness of the church, grieved
at the toleration of sin in the church, grieved at
(52:37):
the prayerlessness in the church. He is disturbed that the
corporate prayer of the church no longer pulls down the
strongholds of the devil. Oh, my gosh, is that an understatement.
This world and the things in this world offend me
(52:58):
more than that. It breaks my heart for those that
are caught in a snare, in the trap, and have
been imprisoned by this world. And it truly grieves me
that the church is so ineffective. Oh, they want to
have concerts, and they want to have celebrations, and they
want to have bless me events. And I want to
(53:20):
feel good about what I'm going to get. What about
the world around you? What about the people you love?
What about the people you care about? Are you on
your face crying out to the Lord for them? So
(53:40):
what does being from another world look like? I'll tell
you one thing about being from another world. We produce
a different kind of fruit. Galatians five, Verses twenty two
and twenty three. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
(54:02):
long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, and against
such there is no law. And jumping to verse twenty five,
if we live in the spirit, let us also walk
in the spirit. If we're walking in the spirit or
walking in love, walking in the spirit means to obey
the prompting and directions of the Holy Spirit. Walking in
(54:26):
the spirit means living and reigning as Kingdom of God's citizens,
not citizens of this world. My citizenship is elsewhere. And
isn't it interesting the fruit of the spirit singular, it
(54:47):
is tied to the gifts of the spirit by love.
And I read this commentary that believed that everything is
really a variation of love. So let's talk real quick
about the spiritual gifts. And I believe this is that
(55:10):
was easy for me to say. I believe that this
is where the Spirit's going. In the weeks ahead, we
can talk about the gifts. We're gonna talk about the fruit.
We're going to start to get ready to be useful
for the Kingdom of God more than we've ever been before,
(55:34):
pulling down stronghold, setting the captives free, doing what we
were meant to do so one Corinthians twelve, Verse one. Now,
concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to
be ignorant. You know that you were gentiles carried away
(55:59):
to these the dumb idols. However you are led and
remember speaking to the church in corinth They were caught
up in a lot of paranormal demonic activity. Therefore, I
make known to you that no one speaking by the
Spirit of God called Yeshua accursed, and no one can
say Ishia is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit. There
(56:25):
are diversities of gifts plural, but the same spirit singular.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. There
are diversities of activities, but it is the same God
who works all in all, but the manifestation of the
Spirit is given to each one for the prophet of all.
(56:50):
For one to one is given the word of wisdom
through the spirit to another, the word of knowledge through
the same spirit to another. Faith by the same spirit
to another, gifts of healings by the same spirit to another,
the working of miracles to another, prophecy to another, discerning
of spirits to another, different kinds of tongues to another,
(57:14):
the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit
works all these things, distributing to each one individually as
he will. The Holy Spirit decides what each individual will
have and what manifestation will be a part of their walk.
(57:37):
Which is why once again I will say I do
not believe in support or whatever participate in any place
that says, hey, come on down here, we're going to
lay hands on you. We're going to give you a
gift of the spirit. We're gonna tell you what the
gift is. We're gonna help you on a Rabbitlet make
sure you register it to have you the warranty activated. No, no, no, no.

The Holy Spirit is the one who decides what you're
going to get and how you're going to use it,
and nobody can determine that. For me, Thankfully, I did
not have a person that believed that, taught that, or
showed that in any way, shape or form. What I
had is someone who laid hands on me and let
(58:24):
the Holy Spirit do what he want. Started out with
one gift, started over here, and then you know, I
brother come up to me and say talking about the gifts,
and I said, well, you know, I'm moving this one,
I'm moving that one, and he goes, what about the
rest of them? I said, well, I don't want to
(58:46):
be greedy. I mean, that's what he gave me. He said,
do you want the other ones? I said yeah. He said,
well tell him that he'll give you whatever he thinks
you need. And he did what I prayed for. What
I asked, is what I got so that I could
use it to serve him? But it took me a
(59:09):
while to understand not just how they worked, but why
they worked. And that answers in one Corinthians twelve, verse
thirty one. Earnestly desire the best gifts. Yet Paul says,
(59:29):
I show you a more excellent way. What is the
more excellent way? It's love, the very thing that bridges
the fruit of the spirit and the gifts of the spirit.
Verse Corinthians thirteen. One. Though I speak with the tongues
(59:51):
of men and of angels, but I have not love.
I've become sounding brass or acclaiming symbol. And though I
have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and
all knowledge, though I have all faith so that I
could remove mountains, but I have not love. I am nothing.
(01:00:15):
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though I give my body to be burned, but
have not love, It profits me nothing. Love suffers long
and is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not
parade itself. It's not puffed up, does not behave rudely,
(01:00:39):
does not seek its own It's not provoked, thinks no evil,
does not rejoice in iniquity, and sin rejoices in truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things. Love never fails. Now, whether there are prophecies,
(01:01:02):
they will fail. Whether there are tongues, they will cease.
Whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we
know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when
that which is perfect has come, that which is in
part will be done away. We'll talk about that weeks ahead.
(01:01:24):
That those verses right there do not in any way
shape or form, and indicate that the gifts stopped. When
I was a child, I spoke as a child, I
understood as a child, I thought as a child. But
when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then
(01:01:47):
face to face. Now I know in part. Then I
shall know, just as I also am known. And now abiden, faith, hope,
and love. These three, these three. But the greatest of
these is love. Oh my goodness, there's so much going
(01:02:09):
on there and has nothing to do with weddings. Paul
is saying, in essence, the gifts of the spirit are
only effective they're only worthwhile. They're only capable of edifying
anyone or anything when they are exercised in the proper way,
which is love. The other worldly love that I'm talking
(01:02:35):
about is a fruit. It's a byproduct of the presence
of the Holy Spirit in us. It makes the Church
different from the world. John Wesley said, the best means
of resisting the devil is to destroy whatever the world
(01:02:55):
remains in us in order to raise for God upon
its ruins a building all of love. Then we shall begin,
in this fleeting life to love God as we shall
love Him in eternity. The Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible says,
(01:03:17):
it becomes apparent then that the fruit of the spirit,
and not the gifts or any particular gift, is the
evidence of a spirit controlled life. Boy, that's going to
rattle many in the charismatic church. Let me say that again.
It's apparent that the fruit of the spirit, not the
(01:03:37):
gifts or any particular gift, is evidence of a spirit
controlled life. The Corinthians were blessed with many of the gifts,
but they were still immature. The proof of a spirit led,
sanctified life is not the gifts of the spirit but
the fruit of the Spirit, chief of which is love.
(01:04:01):
One Corinthians fourteen one. Pursue love and desire gifts, but
especially that you may prophesy Phesians five, verses eight through eleven.
For you are once darkness, but now you are light
in the Lord. Walk as children of life. For the
fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
Finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have
(01:04:25):
no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
expose them and do it in love. The presence of
the Holy Spirit in us brings exposure and rebuke to
a world that not only gives the opposite of that,
but wants the opposite of that. Being from another world
(01:04:51):
means we walk in wisdom. We walk circumspectly, not as fools,
but as wise redeeming the time, because we know that
these days are evil Ephesians five point fifteen and sixteen.
Listen to me, which I hope you have for the
last hour and five minutes. We're going over. Yes we are,
(01:05:12):

If I want to look carefully how you walk, live
purposefully and worthily and accurately not unwise or witless, but wise, sensible,
(01:05:33):
intelligent people making the very most of the time, buying
up each opportunity to share the Gospels, to tell people
about Yashiah. To live righteously because the days are evil.
Brothers and sisters watching, watch where and how you walk,
Be careful, stay on the path, avoid the world and
(01:05:55):
the ways of the world. Author and evangelist J. C.
Ryles says that there is a common and worldly kind
of Christianity in this day, which many have and think
they have enough. A cheap Christianity which offends nobody, requires
(01:06:17):
no sacrifice, costs nothing, and is worth nothing. So in closing,
let's remember what the Lord said. If the world hates you,
(01:06:37):
it hated me before it hated you. If you belong
to the world, if you willliked the world and the
world liked you, it would treat you with affection and
would love you as its own. But because you're not
of this world, you're no longer one with it. Yashua
(01:06:58):
has chosen you out of this world, and the world
detests you because of it. I'm actually going to stop there.
I had a whole another half a page, but I'm
gonna build on that I'll just say this, what's the answer.
What was his answer to them? To remove them? Hey,
(01:07:18):
protect them, get them out of the world. Now. In
John seventeen, it says to the father, don't take them
out of the world, keep them in the world, but
protect them from the evil one. Sanctify them by your truth,
(01:07:41):
because your word is true. They are not of the world,
just as I am not of the world. You should
have said, sanctify them, sanctify them. He wasn't praying for
the world. He was praying for believers then, and believers
now be sanctified, be set apart for holiness and service,
(01:08:06):
be from another world. Lord, We thank you, We thank
you for taking us out of this world and translating
us into your kingdom, the Kingdom of Light, out of
the darkness, into the light. Thank you for washing us clean,
(01:08:26):
thank you for opening our eyes. Thank you for allowing
us to shine, sanctifying us, setting us apart, choosing us,
making us from another world. And we desire for the
new world that will come. But until now, this is
(01:08:48):
where we are, and we truly want to shake this
world one last time before the king returns, before you
come back. So we need you, a holy spirit, every
listener here needs you show us areas of our life
that have not been set up apart, have not been
(01:09:08):
broken free of the world, that the world still has
influence on. And I know you'll do without condemnation but
conviction in love. They'll be able to repent, put it
under the blood and say take it from me. Thank you,

Lord for doing that for us. Thank you for preparing us.

There are no words to express the love that we

feel for what you did. But you suffered on the cross.
My heart hurts every time I talk about it. But
I know that without that, I wouldn't be sitting here,
and I wouldn't be able to praise you. Because you

are a risen savior. You're not just a dead prophet.
You are Messiah. So the tomb is empty, that cross
is bare, and when you ascended into heaven. You sent
the Holy Spirit back, and you filled us in the
upper room. And then you filled us as we've gotten saved,

and we are filled right now by the power of
your Holy Spirit. And if your sons and daughters listening
that do not have that, I pray that in your
grace and your mercy you would spontaneously just touch them
and fill them from the toppy their heads to the
bottom of their feet. Well, thank you for this time.

protect the technology, no interference of the enemy. We bind
the enemy in every way, shape and form, and declare

got a lot to cover. The Holy Spirit is setting
up the weeks ahead, so we're going to set up
the ground work now. And also, you know, I wasn't
sure where I was going to go. Each week, I
wait for the Lord. I don't plan everything out. I
wait to see what he has to say and wait
for him to confirm his word. In the beginning of

the confirmation came the other day while I was talking
to my cousin Robert. So Robert our conversation helped to
inspire this Bible study. Don't let it go to it
just our conversation that I was involved with it too,
so we kind of share the inspiration. But I want
to give credit where credit is due. I ended last
(07:18):
week with a quote from C. S. Lewis. It said,
if I find, if I find in myself a desire
which no experience in this world can justify, the most
probable explanation is that I was made for another world
(07:40):
and that has resonated with me all week that I
was made for another world. We were made for another world.
The written not of this world. The Home Bible Dictionary
(08:01):
defines world as generally refers to what we call today
the earth. Sometimes its meaning seems to include the heavenly
bodies as well. On other occasions, it is used to
refer to things in this quote world, even if to
the time in which we live in the age of
(08:23):
this world. In the New Testament, the most common word
for world and the Greek is cosmos. This often carries
the notion of an ordered or regimented world that is
open to observation. In the understanding. Now there's another word, aon.
(08:44):
It's used to speak of the world. Literally means the age.
So in the world age or this age, And we
say quoted as such. Go with me to John chapter fifteen,
starting verse eighteen. Read letters. She was said, if the
world hates you, you know that it hated me before
(09:06):
it hated you. If you were of the world, the
world would love its own. Yet, because you are not
of this world. But I chose you out of this world.
Therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I
said to you. A servant is not greater than his master.
(09:27):
If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If
they kept my word, they will keep yours also. But
all things they will do to you for my name's sake.
But all these things, I'm sorry. But all these things
they will do to you for my name's sake because
they do not know him who sent me. If I
(09:50):
had come and spoke to them, they would have no sin.
But now they have no excuse for their sin. He
who hates me hates my father. Allo. So if I
had not done among them the works which no one
else did, they would have no sin. But now they
have seen and also hated both me and my father.

But this happened that the word might be fulfilled, which
is written in their law. They hated me without cause.
Expect the world to hate you. If you're going to
be of another world, they're gonna hate you. They don't
(10:34):
want anything that reminds them of who they are or
who they're not. You should have predicted it. The world
hates reproof, It hates rebuke. It hates to be shown
their faults or their errors. It hates to be disproven.
(11:02):
That was the purpose of the Holy Spirit of Yilga
John sixteen, starting verse eight. Speaking about the Holy Spirit,
he says, when he has come, he will convict the
world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, of sin,
because they do not believe in me. Of righteousness because
I go to my father and you see me no more.
(11:26):
Of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
So the presence of the Holy Spirit in us inspires
that feeling from the world, because the Holy Spirit will
teach people the true meaning of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
(11:49):
Two Timothy three, p. Sixteen. All scripture is given by
inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That's why the world
doesn't want the Bible, doesn't want in their rooms, doesn't
want in their courts. It's been trying to push it
(12:12):
out of everything. It hasn't succeeded, but it's going to
keep trying. Ephesians five, starting verse eleven. Take no part
and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises
of darkness, but instead let your lives be someone contrast,
(12:34):
as to expose and reprove and convict them, For it
is a shame even to speak of or mention the
things that such people practice in secret. The world does
not want any indication that what they're doing is wrong.
(12:56):
And we are living testaments to His righteousness, to his word,
to the reality of his existence. She was said to
nic Nemus in John three nineteen. And this is the
condemnation that the world has, that the light has come
into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light
(13:19):
because their deeds were evil. The light, you, sue, of
the light of the world has come into the world,
but people loved darkness rather than light because they wanted
to hide their evil deeds. And the darkness. Don't expose me.

That's the struggle with your flesh. It's always battling to
get back in control. But by submitting to his will,

always be better. Titus chapter two, verses eleven and twelve.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared
to all men, teaching us that denying on godliness and

worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly. In
the present age. It's the battle that we're in. We've
been saved by grace, and we're constantly a work in progress.

So darkness is exposed by our light. Remember what she

the midst of a crooked, perverse generation, among whom you
shine as lights in the world that has never changed.

This planet, our society, is a crooked and perverse generation,
from generation to generation until they become born again. The
other reason the world hates us is because the world

the cross, then rose from the grave and ascended to

the Father, he says, they do not ask you to
take them out of the world, but that you keep
them and protect them from the evil, and they are
not of this world, just as I am not of
the world. How did we lose that? How did we forget?
The Church is not of this world. We're not to

go along with this world. We're not to assimilate worldly
things into our ways or thinking. Because we're a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, a holy nation, his own, special people,
that we may proclaim the praises of Him who has

called us out of darkness into his marvelous light, who
were once not a people, but are now the people
of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have
obtained mercy one Peter two, Verses nine and ten. In

case you didn't notice, we're in a war, and this
world is at war with the believers in Yeshua, the
world is at war with the Church. Unfortunately, the Church
is abdicated. We're not as much at war the world
as we used to be. John sixteen thirty three. Of

these things I've spoken to, Yshu has said that in
me you may have peace. In the world, you will
have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome

do you have any thoughts that bother you or that
you can't get control of? And I said no, because

out into the world, you should see it in your mind.
You should have it. Your mind should be protected, your

heart should be protected. You should be walking in truth.
You should be walking in the power. You should have
the sword of the spirit, you should have the shield
of faith. It doesn't mean you have to go cutting
and slashing through life. It just means you have it
if you need it. We need to walk in victory.
We are overcomers. First John five, verses four and five.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And
this is the victory that has overcome the world. Our faith.
Who is he that overcomes the world. But he who
believes that, you're sure, is the Son of God. That's

fear and depression and all those things. The world hates God.
It has a natural enmity to it. First John four

the world makes themselves an enemy of God. And yet

what do I see? I see so called believers getting
friendly with the world. We should hate its ways and
live separated from it. First John two, verses fifteen through seventeen,

The amplified do not love or cherish the world or
the things in the world. If anyone loves the world,
love for the Father is not in him, Meaning, if
you love your heavenly Father, then you're not going to
love the things of the world because the world hates him.
Why would I love something that hates him? For all

that is in the world, the lust of the flesh,
craving for sensual gratification, and lust of the eyes, the
greedy longings of the mind, and the pride of life,
assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of
earthly things. These do not come from the Father, but
are from the world itself. And the world is passing

away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings. The
passionate desires the lust of it. But he who does
the will of God, carries out his purposes in their life, abides.
They remain forever in his will, walking with him, loving him.

If you love him, you can't love the world. If
you love the world, then you don't love him. I'm
a very loyal person, loyal to a fault, some might say.
And if I love you, if I care about you,
we're family, if we're friends, if I'm in a committed

situation of friendship or familial love, or if somebody says
anything wrong about you, I'm going to stand up for you.
I'm going to correct them. If somebody threatens you, then
I'm going to get in between them and you and
stand up to them. I'm not going to allow them

to disrespect you. That's what love does. Why do we
allow the world to disrespect God and our beliefs and
our faith and what we stand for and not stand
up and say, excuse me, my father's last name is
not Damn. And the fact that you, knowing that I'm
a believer and could say that means you have no

respect for me. Please don't do that again. And if
they can hount of your wishes, then you shouldn't associate
with such people. James One twenty seven. External religious worship,
that's religion as expressed in our outward acts, that is

pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father.
Is this to visit, help and care for the orphans
and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep
oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world. Being contaminated by
the world has fatal consequences to a believer. John Wesley says,

if after having renounced all, we do not watch incessantly
and beseech God to accompany our vigilant with his we
shall be again entangled and overcome. What a horrible, horrible
place for believers to get having once known the truth,

having once been saved, escaped the pollutions of the world
through a full personal knowledge of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus the Messiah. You're sure, Hamasia, if they again become entangled,

is worse for them than the first. For never have

That's our ministry. I saw a video. I didn't really

watch it because yeah, I didn't agree with all of it,
and I won't mention it, but it kind of touched
on a pet peeve. I have that there is no
such thing as a deliverance ministry, and when somebody says
they're part of a deliverance ministry, I immediately know that
they don't know what they're talking about. Deliverance is an

aspect of Yashua's ministry. And because I did a lot
of deliverance is because I've done them. Oh you're a
deliverance ministry. No I'm not. You have a deliverance ministry,
don't you know? I have a Yashua ministry, and one
aspect of that is deliverance. It's also preaching the word.

It's also holiness, it's also healing. It's every aspect of
who he is. We don't specialize in Yashia. That was
never part of the equation. So stop creating late for
yourself and thinking you're special or singling yourself out as

something you're not. I've met a lot of people who
thought they were something. They were nothing to me. So
any person, if anyone is ingrafted into Messiah, they're a
new creation, a new creature. Altogether, the old, previous moral

and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and
new has come. So if at any time you see
the old aspects of yourself rear their head, and I've
seen it happen from time to time, I call it
a zombie that wakes up and wants to be fed.

What it wants is flash yours. Don't feed it. Put
it back to sleep, pray, put it under the blood,
ask for somebody to pray for you. Your new creation.
Act like one. The world is ignorant of God, absolutely

totally ignorant. Oh, they've seen stories told about him, they've
seen depictions of him, but they're really ignorant to the
reality of God. They know religion, but they don't know him.

You can't get to know him without Yashua because he
and the Father are one, and once you know him,

can't know anything about God. Remember the Lord said, I

read this before and read it again. A servant is
not greater than his master. If they persecuted him, they're
going to persecute us if they kept his word. And
if they keep it, they will keep yours also when

you share. But all these things they will do to
you for his namesake, because they don't know him, nor

had not come in the flesh and walked this earth
and said and did what he did, they'd have no sin.

And I'm not just talking about the Jews, I'm talking
to the world, but they have no excuse for their
sin because he came, he spoke, and he did exactly
what Messiah would do. And anyone who hates him hates

the Father. Also, so because we're of another world, because
we don't belong here, because this is not our home,
the world will persecute you, and they will treat us
with malignant intent, with malice in their heart. And of

course in John fifteen he was talking about the Pharisees
who were at that very moment plotting to kill him.
But it still applies all over the world. We're seeing
this in most of the other nations around the world.
Christianities being outlawed and Christianed are either being imprisoned or killed.

In Syria, they're being slaughtered. On the news the other day,
and I posted on social media, whether Instagram or Facebook.
I'm surprised I haven't gotten in trouble yet because I
posted NonStop about what's happening, not just to the Jews,
but to the Christians in Syria. There was a story

about one young man. They captured him and they threatened
him denounce Jesus, to denounce your Christianity. He said no,
he wouldn't even take the cross from around his neck,
(37:42):
so they killed him. They cut his heat off. The
enemies in full empowered mode right now, the shedding of
blood and the power that they're getting from the shed
blood and the pain and all that they're causing right
now to filling their storage batteries getting ready for something.

We should be filling our storage batteries with the power
of the Holy Spirit. So the world hatred of Yeshiah
then and now is a sin against God. It's a
rejection of God because he revealed that he and the
(38:29):
Father were won. Messiah and the Father are one. So
anyone who hates him hates the Father. It's that simple.
I try to explain that some people I believe in God,
but I don't believe in this Jesus guy. But I'm sorry,
(38:55):
you have a problem. So the harassment and suffering that
people and institutions, both government and social and religious are
going to be inflicted upon those who are different because
(39:15):
of our faith in Yeshua, because we don't believe in
their worldview, because we don't accept their culture. And so
what they're going to do, They're going to persecute us.
They're going to seek to intimidate us, to silence us
and punish us. Again, we don't see that yet here

in the West. In America, we currently have an administration
thankfully that won't allow that to happen. But if that
should go away, it will happen. Two Timothy three to twelve. Yes,
all who desire to live godly in Messiah issue will

suffer persecution. Remember what I said about they don't don't
bring that over here. Don't make me look bad. Don't
tell me that what I'm doing is wrong. Don't tell
me that what I'm doing is the sin. And oh
my goodness, don't you dare say that what I'm doing
is demonica of the devil. I just call it like

I see it. Sorry if you take it personally. Blest
are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs
is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when they
revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil
(40:45):
against you falsely for his sake, Rejoice and be exceedingly glad,
for great is your reward in heaven. For so they
persecuted the prophets who were before you Matthew five Versus
ten and twelve, Sermon on the Mount. Blessed are those

who persecuted for righteousness sake. That's the foundation of the Church.
The blessings come from who we are and what we do,
and those things will cause a problem in this world,

which is why many believers don't like to go into
the world. They don't want to share the gospel. They
don't want to be agents of change in a dying
world that's going to hate it and hate them. I
personally never had that problem, but many do. And I'm
not telling you to be offensive. But if speaking the

truth and love and trying to rescue somebody offends them,
do it anyway. It's the example he set. It's what
he did with the disciples, the foundation that were built
on the Book of Acts Church were persecuted. Matthew ten
(42:17):
sixteen through twenty three. He said to the disciples, behold,
I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves.
Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But
beware of men, for they will deliver you up to
councils and scourge you in their synagogues. You will be
(42:39):
brought before governors and kings for my sake, as the
testimony to them and to the gentiles, which has costs,
of course, prophecy of what was coming, especially for Paul.
But when they deliver you up, do not worry about
how or what you should speak, for it will be
given to you in that hour which you should speak.

But it's not you who speak, but the spirit of
your Father, who is in you. How bad's gonna get? Lord, Well,
brother will deliver a brother to death and to father
his child. Then children will rise up against parents and
cause them to be put to death. And you will
be hated by all for my name's sake. But he

endures to the end, will be saved. When they persecute this,
persecute you in this city, flee to another. For surely
I say to you, you will not have gone through
the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
If they persecute you here, like be with pollen, take

it to the next place and plant it there. Keep moving,

Believe to study. Bible says hostility is the general attitude
of the world, especially towards the Gospel effectiveness depends upon

life and presentation, characterized by the sincerity or blamelessness of
a dove, which must be taken in the sense of
not exercising deceit. Furthermore, the wisdom or cunning of a
serpent will be most beneficial. Snakes are silent and dangerously smart,

But I've shared this with you before. If you threaten
a dove's family, they will fight you to the death
for the little ones, so they can be ferocious. Just
we're warned not to be deceitful in our actions. Tell

the truth and love, don't deceive people, don't trick them.
I've shared the story before. I don't think i've shared
it a while. Very close friend that I pray for
to get saved. He one of the first people I
got close to in the acting world. My boys consider
him an uncle. I consider him my brother. It was

dating and girl that he was very serious about thought
that they'd get married, and she decided to take him
to a play. She bought tickets for a play and
he went, and it was to El Shadai and it

was an evangelism event and he felt deceived, he felt betrayed,
and he broke off the relationship, and many years later
he realized that he messed up. He let the good
one get away. If she had not been deceitful and

tricked him into going to something I'm sure she was
told to do that, that wouldn't have happened. We don't
need to be deceitful. We don't need to trick people
into hearing the gospel. Tell them the truth and love,
tell them your story, share your testimony, let him know
why you believe what you believe. And let's get real.

There're gonna be wolves out there and among the people
we go to. They're gonna be wolves in the churches
you try to go sit in. And like I said,
churches as an external entity created by men, they're filled
with wolves. Don't be like them. Have you experienced the

hate for being a believer for His namesake? I have.
I've experienced it from family members when I told them
the truth about their beliefs about the Bible, comparing what
they believe with the Bible about the lifestyles they live.
I've shared it in love, no condemnation, but I've been
(47:20):
real clear that when they stand before God. They're rolling
the dice that he's going to accept the way that
they think over the way that he thinks. I've been rejected,
I've been shunned, I've been cut out of lives. I'm sorry.
It's who I am. The persecution of the church that began.
(47:50):
Then that we have now required the Lord send a helper.
And this is where I think he's taking this, talking
about the persecution, talking about everything that's going on, especially
now in the world. It is a supernatural demonic hatred. Therefore,
(48:12):
you need a supernatural response to a supernatural problem. Wait,
that sounds familiar. Supernatural problems need a supernatural solution. John fifteen,
studying verse twenty six. Now when the helper comes, the
(48:33):
Paraclitos and the Greek, whom I shall send to you
from the Father, the spirit of truth, who proceeds literally
emanates from the Father. He will testify of me. You
should have said, and you and I will bear witness
because to the disciples, he said, you've been with me
(48:54):
from the beginning, and I believe since we've been baptizing
the spirit, we're all connected to them. And then he
continues on in John sixteen, these things I've spoken to
you that you should not be made to stumble. They
will put you out of synagogues. Yes, time is coming
that whoever kills you will think he offers God's service.

And these things they will do to you because they
have not known the Father nor me. But these things
I have told you that when the time comes, you
may remember that I told you of them. And these
things I didn't not say to you in the beginning
because I was with you. And that's exactly what happened.

Saul persecuted the church, killed believers, destroyed their homes, tried
to destroy their faith, thinking he was doing it for God.
The most upsetting thing you can feel is to have
your eyes opened and realized that the whole time you

were doing, what you were doing wasn't of God, was
of Satan and the fallen. Though the world's hatred because
we're not of his world, I'm talking about the enemy's world,
Satan's world. We're not under his control, will inspire persecution,
(50:25):
but in the process will be a witness against the
enemy and against the world. All of these persecuted believers
around the world who refuse to recamt or reject Jesus
(50:45):
An entire family wiped out in Syria, mother, father, children.
It's a witness these people will not reject the Lord,
even in the face of death. So what happens is
(51:10):
when a disciples speaks, and we're disciples, I have a
robe of Toga sandals, and I'm kidding, we're disciples. So
when we speak as when they spoke, the Holy Spirit
brings inner conviction to unbelievers regarding Messiah, and that makes
(51:34):
us witnesses for Yeshua. Every chance I get, I share
with people why I believe what I believe. So being
made for another world, the one to come, empowers the
(51:55):
Church to overcome this world. The Lord and the Holy
Spirit wants us to overcome this world, to be overcomers.
The problem is we don't have a whole lot of
(52:15):
examples of that. I saw this quote by Leonard Ravenhill,
and it really struck me as befitting of what I'm
talking to you about. The true Man of God is
heart sick, grieved at the worldliness of the church, grieved
at the toleration of sin in the church, grieved at
(52:37):
the prayerlessness in the church. He is disturbed that the
corporate prayer of the church no longer pulls down the
strongholds of the devil. Oh, my gosh, is that an understatement.
This world and the things in this world offend me
(52:58):
more than that. It breaks my heart for those that
are caught in a snare, in the trap, and have
been imprisoned by this world. And it truly grieves me
that the church is so ineffective. Oh, they want to
have concerts, and they want to have celebrations, and they
want to have bless me events. And I want to
(53:20):
feel good about what I'm going to get. What about
the world around you? What about the people you love?
What about the people you care about? Are you on
your face crying out to the Lord for them? So
(53:40):
what does being from another world look like? I'll tell
you one thing about being from another world. We produce
a different kind of fruit. Galatians five, Verses twenty two
and twenty three. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
(54:02):
long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, and against
such there is no law. And jumping to verse twenty five,
if we live in the spirit, let us also walk
in the spirit. If we're walking in the spirit or
walking in love, walking in the spirit means to obey
the prompting and directions of the Holy Spirit. Walking in
(54:26):
the spirit means living and reigning as Kingdom of God's citizens,
not citizens of this world. My citizenship is elsewhere. And
isn't it interesting the fruit of the spirit singular, it
(54:47):
is tied to the gifts of the spirit by love.
And I read this commentary that believed that everything is
really a variation of love. So let's talk real quick
about the spiritual gifts. And I believe this is that
(55:10):
was easy for me to say. I believe that this
is where the Spirit's going. In the weeks ahead, we
can talk about the gifts. We're gonna talk about the fruit.
We're going to start to get ready to be useful
for the Kingdom of God more than we've ever been before,

pulling down stronghold, setting the captives free, doing what we
were meant to do so one Corinthians twelve, Verse one. Now,
concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to
be ignorant. You know that you were gentiles carried away

to these the dumb idols. However you are led and
remember speaking to the church in corinth They were caught
up in a lot of paranormal demonic activity. Therefore, I
make known to you that no one speaking by the
Spirit of God called Yeshua accursed, and no one can
say Ishia is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit. There

are diversities of gifts plural, but the same spirit singular.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. There
are diversities of activities, but it is the same God
who works all in all, but the manifestation of the
Spirit is given to each one for the prophet of all.

For one to one is given the word of wisdom
through the spirit to another, the word of knowledge through
the same spirit to another. Faith by the same spirit
to another, gifts of healings by the same spirit to another,
the working of miracles to another, prophecy to another, discerning
of spirits to another, different kinds of tongues to another,

the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit
works all these things, distributing to each one individually as
he will. The Holy Spirit decides what each individual will
have and what manifestation will be a part of their walk.

Which is why once again I will say I do

lay hands on you. We're going to give you a
gift of the spirit. We're gonna tell you what the
gift is. We're gonna help you on a Rabbitlet make
sure you register it to have you the warranty activated. No, no, no, no.

The Holy Spirit is the one who decides what you're
going to get and how you're going to use it,
and nobody can determine that. For me, Thankfully, I did
not have a person that believed that, taught that, or
showed that in any way, shape or form. What I
had is someone who laid hands on me and let
(58:24):
the Holy Spirit do what he want. Started out with
one gift, started over here, and then you know, I
brother come up to me and say talking about the gifts,
and I said, well, you know, I'm moving this one,
I'm moving that one, and he goes, what about the
rest of them? I said, well, I don't want to
(58:46):
be greedy. I mean, that's what he gave me. He said,
do you want the other ones? I said yeah. He said,
well tell him that he'll give you whatever he thinks
you need. And he did what I prayed for. What
I asked, is what I got so that I could
use it to serve him? But it took me a
(59:09):
while to understand not just how they worked, but why
they worked. And that answers in one Corinthians twelve, verse
thirty one. Earnestly desire the best gifts. Yet Paul says,
(59:29):
I show you a more excellent way. What is the
more excellent way? It's love, the very thing that bridges
the fruit of the spirit and the gifts of the spirit.
Verse Corinthians thirteen. One. Though I speak with the tongues
(59:51):
of men and of angels, but I have not love.
I've become sounding brass or acclaiming symbol. And though I
have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and
all knowledge, though I have all faith so that I
could remove mountains, but I have not love. I am nothing.
(01:00:15):
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though I give my body to be burned, but
have not love, It profits me nothing. Love suffers long
and is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not
parade itself. It's not puffed up, does not behave rudely,
(01:00:39):
does not seek its own It's not provoked, thinks no evil,
does not rejoice in iniquity, and sin rejoices in truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things. Love never fails. Now, whether there are prophecies,
(01:01:02):
they will fail. Whether there are tongues, they will cease.
Whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we
know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when
that which is perfect has come, that which is in
part will be done away. We'll talk about that weeks ahead.
(01:01:24):
That those verses right there do not in any way
shape or form, and indicate that the gifts stopped. When
I was a child, I spoke as a child, I
understood as a child, I thought as a child. But
when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then
(01:01:47):
face to face. Now I know in part. Then I
shall know, just as I also am known. And now abiden, faith, hope,
and love. These three, these three. But the greatest of
these is love. Oh my goodness, there's so much going
(01:02:09):
on there and has nothing to do with weddings. Paul
is saying, in essence, the gifts of the spirit are
only effective they're only worthwhile. They're only capable of edifying
anyone or anything when they are exercised in the proper way,
which is love. The other worldly love that I'm talking
(01:02:35):
about is a fruit. It's a byproduct of the presence
of the Holy Spirit in us. It makes the Church
different from the world. John Wesley said, the best means
of resisting the devil is to destroy whatever the world
(01:02:55):
remains in us in order to raise for God upon
its ruins a building all of love. Then we shall begin,
in this fleeting life to love God as we shall
love Him in eternity. The Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible says,
(01:03:17):
it becomes apparent then that the fruit of the spirit,
and not the gifts or any particular gift, is the
evidence of a spirit controlled life. Boy, that's going to
rattle many in the charismatic church. Let me say that again.
It's apparent that the fruit of the spirit, not the
(01:03:37):
gifts or any particular gift, is evidence of a spirit
controlled life. The Corinthians were blessed with many of the gifts,
but they were still immature. The proof of a spirit led,
sanctified life is not the gifts of the spirit but
the fruit of the Spirit, chief of which is love.
(01:04:01):
One Corinthians fourteen one. Pursue love and desire gifts, but
especially that you may prophesy Phesians five, verses eight through eleven.
For you are once darkness, but now you are light
in the Lord. Walk as children of life. For the
fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
Finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have
(01:04:25):
no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
expose them and do it in love. The presence of
the Holy Spirit in us brings exposure and rebuke to
a world that not only gives the opposite of that,
but wants the opposite of that. Being from another world
(01:04:51):
means we walk in wisdom. We walk circumspectly, not as fools,
but as wise redeeming the time, because we know that
these days are evil Ephesians five point fifteen and sixteen.
Listen to me, which I hope you have for the
last hour and five minutes. We're going over. Yes we are,
(01:05:12):

purposefully and worthily and accurately not unwise or witless, but wise, sensible,

intelligent people making the very most of the time, buying
up each opportunity to share the Gospels, to tell people
about Yashiah. To live righteously because the days are evil.

Be careful, stay on the path, avoid the world and
(01:05:55):

Ryles says that there is a common and worldly kind
of Christianity in this day, which many have and think
they have enough. A cheap Christianity which offends nobody, requires
(01:06:17):
no sacrifice, costs nothing, and is worth nothing. So in closing,
let's remember what the Lord said. If the world hates you,
(01:06:37):
it hated me before it hated you. If you belong
to the world, if you willliked the world and the
world liked you, it would treat you with affection and
would love you as its own. But because you're not
of this world, you're no longer one with it. Yashua
(01:06:58):
has chosen you out of this world, and the world
detests you because of it. I'm actually going to stop there.
I had a whole another half a page, but I'm
gonna build on that I'll just say this, what's the answer.
What was his answer to them? To remove them? Hey,
(01:07:18):
protect them, get them out of the world. Now. In
John seventeen, it says to the father, don't take them
out of the world, keep them in the world, but
protect them from the evil one. Sanctify them by your truth,
(01:07:41):
because your word is true. They are not of the world,
just as I am not of the world. You should
have said, sanctify them, sanctify them. He wasn't praying for
the world. He was praying for believers then, and believers
now be sanctified, be set apart for holiness and service,
(01:08:06):
be from another world. Lord, We thank you, We thank
you for taking us out of this world and translating
us into your kingdom, the Kingdom of Light, out of
the darkness, into the light. Thank you for washing us clean,
(01:08:26):
thank you for opening our eyes. Thank you for allowing
us to shine, sanctifying us, setting us apart, choosing us,
making us from another world. And we desire for the
new world that will come. But until now, this is
(01:08:48):
where we are, and we truly want to shake this
world one last time before the king returns, before you
come back. So we need you, a holy spirit, every
listener here needs you show us areas of our life
that have not been set up apart, have not been
(01:09:08):
broken free of the world, that the world still has
influence on. And I know you'll do without condemnation but
conviction in love. They'll be able to repent, put it
under the blood and say take it from me. Thank you,
(01:09:29):
Lord for doing that for us. Thank you for preparing us.
Thank you for protecting us and empowering us. Thank you
for this word. Lord. I pray that this word has
done what you needed it and desired it to do.
I pray that this word bears fruit. And I pray
