Speaker 1 (00:22):
Welcome to the Porch on Firefall Talk Radio. I'm Richard Grund.
This is where you'll find the uncompromised Bread Letter, basics
of the Word of God, and to focus on the
Book of Acts Church to see how they serve the Lord.
In doing so, we find the church the Lord intended
and not the one man created. The Porch is here
(00:44):
to restore the priesthood of the believer while regaining the
world's shaking influence of the early Church. The Church age
isn't over. The Upper Room experience is as much for
today as it was on the day of Pentecoon. It's
yours if you want it. Links to all of our
social media and streaming sites are on the main page
(01:07):
at Firefall talk radio dot com. You can subscribe to us.
There you can find the list for all the places
that you can listen to us. They already said that
kind of got distracted there for a second. My apologies,
but there are ways to support us at the bottom
(01:28):
of the page. I didn't say that yet, So here
we're back on track. If you need more information, just
let us know. We appreciate your support, encouragement. Thank you
for being a part of the Porch. If you need
prayer or you want to pray for others in the
Porch community, just let us know. We'll get the word
out or we'll plug you in. Remember that we are
(01:51):
a community of believers and we care about you. So Father,
we come to you in the name of your shua,
the name above all. We thank you for loving us
when we were unlovable. We thank you for being so
desirous to be back in relationship with your children that
(02:13):
you decided to have the price that we owed. You
paid for us, and you did that through you show up. Lord.
We love you, We thank you and praise you and
worship you. We cannot physically understand or imagine what you
endured on our behalf, but we love you, and we're
(02:37):
so thankful to be able to have access to the
throne room, to be able to go up to the
throne and say Ah, but Father, Papa, God, Daddy, and
be received. Thank you for sending back the Holy Spirit
to walk with us, to teach us, to guide us,
to show us everything that we need to know and understand.
(02:57):
We are desperate for that now. We are desperate for
the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume everything that's
not of you. And to empower us that we can
go and do what You've called us to do. Further,
the Kingdom of God, set the captives free, destroy the
work of the enemy. Holy Spirit. Whatever it is you
(03:20):
want to do, have your way. We open our hearts
and minds to the word of God. We take our
thoughts captive to the obedience of Messiah. Claiming the mind
of Messiah, we cast down every vain imagination that would
exalt itself above the knowledge of l E On God
(03:41):
Most High, our Father. We pray for healing, We pray
for revelation. We pray that you would empower us. We
just want more of you, Lord, We want more. We
pray all these things, and you shoe his name.
Speaker 2 (04:00):

Speaker 1 (04:40):
So before we get started, I want to start out
with a reminder. I shared with you a word from
the Lord that I received on January twenty ninth of
twenty twenty five. The word was furious, furious, furious, fast
(05:01):
and furious. I shall be Meekness shall not be the
order of the day. I will roar, and I will reign.
I call my people to roar, rule and reign with me.
I call my people to roar, rage and rage against
the enemy. Set the captives free, break the chains, open
(05:25):
the prison doors. The King is coming, And I shared
with you that I could see him in the throne room,
and he was leaning forward on the throne, whose elbows
were towards the end, as if the end of the
(05:45):
arm rest, as if he was about to get up.
The old time the king gets up is to issue
a proclamation or to go to war. The reason I
share that with you is we're continuing this thought about
the fire of the Holy Spirit. It's time we're talking
(06:06):
about the final fire. And I wanted to understand why
the Lord was continuing this message. And then he took
me back to that word and told me to share
it again. The fire of purification of judgment is being kindled.
(06:26):
That word kindled means to start a burning fire, to
stir up, arouse, or to cause something to glow. I
shared with you last time Luke twelve, starting verse twenty nine,
when the Lord said, read letters, I came to send
(06:48):
fire on the earth, And how I wish it were
already kindled. But I do have a baptism to be
baptized with. And how distressed I am till it is accomplished.
We know is speaking of the cross. Do you suppose
that I came to give peace on earth? I tell
you not at all, but rather division. From now on,
(07:11):
five in one house will be divided three against two
and two against three. Father will be divided against son,
son against father, mother against daughter, and daughter against mother,
mother in law against daughter in law, and daughter in
law against mother, her mother in law. This will be
He's saying, the dividing line. I am the line in
(07:34):
the sand, and you're head on one side or the other,
you shoe. His ministry radically changed the status quo by
bringing judgment on the wicked and purification to the righteous.
And we know we did that through the Cross, the
(07:56):
empty tomb in the upper room. Resurrection, rejuvenation I also
shared with you, Jeremiah twenty three, twenty nine. Is not
my word. Like a fire, says the Lord, and like
a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces. Well, he's
(08:19):
the word, and he definitely is a fire and a
hammer that breaks the rock. So the spoken word and
the written word becomes the living flame of the Holy Spirit.
Through the living word, spoken, written, living that's what the
(08:41):
Holy Spirit does to us and through us. John the
Baptist prophesied Matthew three eleven. I indeed baptize you with
water into repentance. But he was coming after me, is
mightier than I, who sandals I am not worthy to carry.
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
(09:04):
A lot of people have been baptized unto repentance, but
they have not been baptized with the Holy Spirit, and
therefore they have no fire. The appearance of the Messiah
with a spirit and baptism fire is what John was
pointing to. You have to have both. You must be
(09:26):
born again and you must be filled with the Holy
Spirit to be refined by the spirit's fire. So for
those who believe, the fire is positive, but for unbelievers
the fire brings awful judgment. Go with me to Acts
(09:48):
chapter two, verse one. Familiar scriptures. You should know them
by heart. By now, when the day of Pentecost had
fully come, they were all with one accord in one place,
and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of
a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house
(10:09):
where they were sitting. And then there appeared to them
divided tongues as of fire, and one sat upon each
of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit,
and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit
gave them utterance. On Pentecost, God gave his law Mount
(10:30):
sign I, accompanied with thundering and lightning, and wrote the
law on the stones. On Pentecost, he sent down his
Holy Spirit like a rushing mighty wind, and tongues of fire,
upon each of the disciples in those in the upper
(10:52):
room one hundred and twenty, in order that by this
a new law of lafe, light and life could be
written upon their hearts, to be promulgated and established. The
day of Pentecost, the fire of God filled believers brought
(11:16):
fire upon the world. It brought fire upon society. It
brought fire upon the religious structure of the day, and
continues to do that today a perpetual Pentecost until the
final harvest. But to do that he would need help
(11:37):
to keep it kindled, to start it, to keep it going,
to keep it glowing, and he has chosen us to
help him. The Upper Room fire is a personal one.
It helps us to do the work of the kingdom
in preparation for the final fire. Even saying those words
(11:59):
give me a shudder. The power of the Holy Spirit
pouring out, the movement, the action that goes with it.
The Church was never called to be sedentary. We're always
supposed to be glowing, going and growing. That was his desire.
(12:24):
Unfortunately that hasn't happened. From the burning bush to Mount
Sinai to the Upper Room, fire has always signified the
presence of God, and his presence signifies holiness. Maybe that's
why people don't want it. Hey, don't ask me to
(12:45):
do that holiness thing, Richard. No, no, no, that's not
for me. If you want to do that, that's great,
you go ahead. No, it's for all of us. It's
always been his intention Isaiah forty eight ten. Behold, I
have refined you, but not as silver. I have tested
(13:05):
you in the furnace of affliction Zikkara thirteen nine. I
will bring the one third through the fire. I will
refine them as silver is refined, and test them as
gold is tested, they will call them my name, and
I will answer them, and I will say, this is
my people, and each one will say the Lord is
my God. Be thankful we don't have to go through that.
(13:27):
We've already been accepted, so that we can say the
Lord is our God. One Peter one seven. That the
genuineness Peter says, of your faith being much more precious
than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire,
(13:48):
may be found to praise honor and glory at the
revelation of Jesus the Messiah. Faith, like gold, is pure
by the fire as it is tested, and the fire
separates the dross from the gold. Go with me two
(14:11):
Corinthians sixth, verse fourteen. Do not be unequally yoked together
with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And
what communion has light with darkness? And what a chord
has Messiah with belial? Or what part has a believer
(14:35):
with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the Temple of
God with idols? For you are the temple of the
Living God. As God has said, I will dwell in
them and walk among them. I will be there God,
and they shall be my people. Therefore, come out from
among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not
(14:58):
touch what is unclean. I will receive you. I will
be a father to you, and you shall be my
sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. I'm jumping down
to chapter seven, verse one. Therefore, having these promises, beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh
(15:20):
and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Paul
wanted the Church to be a holy people, filled with
the presence of God. The problem was some Corinthians were
(15:41):
joining with the heathen and idolatrous feast. They were eating
food and taking drink that had been offered to idols,
and other practices that would lead to apostasy. We are
equally yoked, meaning they were out of order. They were
(16:07):
out of rank and file. Don't leave believers and join
with unbelievers. Impurities in the gold diminishes its value and
it shine. He wants a pure gold, not gold plated,
something that fades over time. Keeping ourselves pure with the
(16:29):
fire of the Holy Spirit in a world of impurities.
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. It's a command.
Stop connecting yourselves to unbelievers like animals and pulling a cart.
(16:50):
You can't put an ox with a donkey. You have
to use the same kind of animal to pull the cart.
Unequal associations between believers and non believers is what Paul
is referring to. Doesn't work in the real world. Why
(17:12):
would we think he would work in his church. It's
a danger. Do not start stop something that's already in progress.
Stop it. Whether it's partnerships or relationships, whether casual or working,
(17:34):
you can't do it. Don't form binding relationships that will
weaken your commitment and standards of holiness. This scripture I'm
going to share with you right here came to mind
over the last couple of weeks as I've begun to
(17:55):
study the genetic structure and something called epigenetics that I've
been going over with a doctor friend of mine from
Los Angeles about how the genes adapt and assimilate to
their environment. And we know that you take in toxins,
you're in a toxic area. The next thing you know,
(18:16):
your genes in the DNA have been affected. Well, it's
scriptural one Corinthians fifteen thirty three and thirty four. Do
not be deceived evil company corrupts good habits. Awake to
righteousness and do not sin, for some do not have
the knowledge of God. And I speak this to your shame.
(18:39):
Do not be deceived or misled. Evil companionships, communion associations
corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character. Awake
from your drunken stupor and return to sober sense and
your right minds, and sin no more. For some of
(19:01):
you have not the knowledge of God. You are utterly
and wilfully and disgracefully ignorant, and continue to be so,
lacking the sense of God's presence and all true knowledge
of Him. I say this to your shame. He's speaking
to the church. The Bible is written to believers, whether
(19:24):
to the Jews or the Gentiles. But the New Testament,
especially the letters, are being written to the Church. And
obviously the problem we're having today they were having back then.
(19:44):
James Ford, starting verse four, adulterers and adultresses. Do you
not know that friendship with the world is enmity hatred
with God. Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of
the world makes himself an enemy of God? Or do
you think that the scripture says in vain the spirit
(20:06):
who dwells in us yearns jealously, having an illicit love
affair with the world and breaking our marriage vows to
God is what James is referring to. Do you not
know that being the world's friend is being God's enemy?
(20:28):
So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world
takes their stand as an enemy of God. I'm not
saying don't go out there. I'm not saying, oh, you know,
become a hermit or circle the wagons, or we're just
going to form a religious community and we're never going
to leave. No, I get it. You have to go
out there. You can't make disciples, and you can't get
(20:51):
people saved, healed and delivery if delivered if you don't.
But here's the deal. If you're going to do that,
then you do it for the kingdom and for the
purpose of spreading the good news, of being a living witness,
of being an example of your shoeer to the world.
(21:11):
But don't tell me, oh, I'm going into the bars,
or you know, I'm singing in this bar and I'm
a witness and I'm shining in the light. Well, what
are you singing? Oh? Secular song? Love songs and what
witnesses that you got to pick a side. And I
(21:36):
know some of you are probably shaking your head or
shrugging your shoulders right now. Up here goes Richard on
his rant again. Brothers and sisters, do you not understand
where we are in time? And what is coming? A
life of compromise. It's going to get you killed. It's
(21:56):
going to give the enemy access to you. It tells
the mean you have stepped outside the hedge. You're outside
that protective wall of fire that the Lord offers us.
And the Holy Spirit is just going to back up.
He's going to back away. He's going to realize, Okay,
that's what they want to do. I'm not going to
(22:18):
get no way. He'll convict you. He'll speak a scripture
into your mind of a memory of a past event.
But most people I've seen who backslide in that manner,
they block it out, they justify it. Gold with impurities
is useless to the goldsmith. It has no value, not
(22:43):
to look at and not to be bought or sold.
So we're talking about righteousness versus sin, that's what lawlessness is,
or light versus darkness, and the Kingdom of God versus
Satan's kingdom, the kingdom of darkness. What do righteousness and
(23:06):
wickedness have in common or what fellowship can light have
with darkness? That there's a clear distinction between the believer
and the unbeliever. You either glow or you don't. You're
driven by different sets of values. One is characterized by
righteousness and the other by lawlessness. There are no shared
(23:31):
values because the one who follows God's will the other
does not, so there really can't be a partnership between them.
I've seen this so many times of believers, committed believers
getting into business with unbelievers. It never works out starting
(23:57):
relationships because the lust of the attraction or whatever it is,
is too strong. They don't work out. You're starting with
a flawed foundation, a watered down concrete, maybe even a crack. Now,
(24:20):
the mention of bellio it comes from the Hebrew term
bellya al meaning worthless, good for nothing, And here it's
being used as a reference for the devil. But it's
the only time it's used in the New Testament, and I, personally,
from my experience in that world, really believe it's talking
(24:43):
about a high ranking fallen angel, demonic entity. But how
can one kingdom have a truce in a partnership with
the other. In the come Run scrolls, Belliol is the
(25:03):
name of the highest angel of darkness and the enemy
of the Prince of Light, while in other Jewish materials,
Belliol is the absolute enemy of God, in chief of
the demons. How how can we do that? This world
(25:25):
is under the sway of the wicked one. We shouldn't
be doing I don't want to say business, but we
shouldn't be partnered with the world. We have no excuse.
The unbeliever's mind has been blinded by the devil to
the truth of the Gospel. So the believer and the
(25:48):
unbeliever have nothing in common. Now Paul set this thought
up in tewod Corinthians four, starting verse two. But we
ever announced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness,
nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation
(26:09):
of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in
the sight of God. But even if our gospel is veiled,
it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds
the God of this age has blinded, who do not believe.
Lest the light of the Gospel of the glory of Messiah,
(26:30):
who is the image of God, should shine on them.
The God of this world Occitan Satan has blinded the
unbeliever's minds so that they should not and cannot discern
the truth. He's preventing them from seeing the illuminating light
(26:51):
of the Gospel, of the glory of Messiah, the image
and likeness of God. Until the scales fall off their eyes.
They can't see it. The New Living Studying Bible says
the Good News divides people into two categories, those who
(27:15):
remain in darkness and those who are enlightened by God.
God's actions in bringing people to Himself is a movement
from a realm governed by darkness to the light of
God's presence. So the God of this world Satan fights
against the relocation, fights against the change that the Good
(27:39):
News brings to people's hearts and minds. When I got saved,
I got snatched out of the kingdom of darkness, scales
taken off my eyes, and awakened in the kingdom of
the Son of His Love. Paul called on the Corinthians,
(28:00):
and remember who the Corinthians are. Besides the fact that
they're in a very a cult driven area, very prosperous,
very wealthy. There's a lot going on that would make
it very difficult to push the world behind. But what
Paul is saying, Hey, realize who you are, Realize your
(28:23):
identity as God's holy people. And there's two ways that
you can do that. So separate themselves from moral evil
and be dedicated to God in holy living and service
to being urged to cleanse themselves from everything that can
(28:47):
defile body or spirit, and work towards complete holiness. Because
we have a fear, we have a reverence, we have
an awe of God. I don't have a fear of
being spanked. I have a fear of letting him down.
Believer study Bible says, the God of the Sage is,
no doubt, the devil, whose activity is characterized by hidden
(29:11):
things of shame, craftiness, deceitfulness, and blinding people's minds from
the light of the Gospel. In contrast, besides the very
image of God and the ideas are those of representation
and manifestation. Who do you represent? Who do you manifest?
(29:37):
This is why I hope you hear every week as
entertaining as I probably am, and occasionally funny and somewhat offbeat.
I hope that you're here to get the impurities out,
to get your goal to shine, to get filled with
(29:57):
the light and the power and the love of the Lord,
so that you can go out there and further the kingdom.
In John seventeen, she was speaking to the Father. He
starts with verse fourteen. He says, I have given them
your word, and the world has hated them because they
(30:18):
are not of the world, just as I am not
of the world. I do not pray that you should
take them out of the world, but that you should
keep them from the evil one. They are not of
the world, just as I am not of the world.
Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth. So
(30:39):
he's showing us we have to be in the world
to answer the command to make disciples of everyone. We
have to be in the world, but we can't be
of the world, and the world can't be in us.
I know that this is not easy, and it seems
(31:02):
and just dawned on me. I had one of those
light bulb moments. Beam. It's easier when you're newly saved
and you got the passion, you got the fire, and
everything's easy so far, and it's easier later on as
you become a more mature believer because of everything that
(31:22):
you've been through. The hard part is in the middle,
in the growing to keep going and glowing. You get
beat up, you get worn down, You get tired of
being by yourself. You get tired of cutting people out
of your life because they won't respect your boundaries or
what you believe. So what you do is you start
(31:47):
to compromise, You start to ignore. Your presence doesn't bring
any conviction to them. They use the GD word making
God's last name, and it doesn't bother them. There's no conviction.
So what I will do is very jokingly say I'm sorry,
(32:08):
my father's last name is not damn. It takes him
a moment then they get it.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
But the truth is I shouldn't have to say that.
I should represent him. I should glow from the reflection
of his face in the gold, so that they wouldn't
want to do that. So what is it in me
or my behavior or something I've said or done that
has made them think it's okay? That's the thought there.
(32:39):
What is it that makes people think it's okay to
be sacrilegious around us? Do not love the world or
the things in the world. If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him. For
all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh,
(33:00):
the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it.
But he who does the will of God abides forever.
First John two, verses fifteen through seventeen. The world is
passing away. It's slowly dying, and there will come a
(33:24):
time when that final fire will purify it and cleanse it.
Just as he said destroyed it once with water. This
time it will be with fire. Romans twelve, verses one
and two. I appeal to you, therefore, brethren, and beg
(33:46):
of you, in view of all the mercies of God,
to make a decisive dedication of your bodies, presenting all
your members and faculties as a living sacrifice, holy, devoted,
consecrated and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable,
(34:07):
rational intelligence, service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed
to this world, to this age, fashioned after and adapted
to its external superficial customs. And that just doesn't mean
religious customs. That means all kinds of behaviors, but be transformed,
(34:30):
changed by the entire renewal of your mind, by its
new ideals and its new attitudes, so that you may
prove for yourselves what is the good and acceptable and
perfect will of God, even the thing which is good
(34:50):
and acceptable and perfect in His sight. For you be
holy as my father in heaven, as holy the Lord
tells us. We have to strive towards that. And I
can't conform to the world. I can't conform to the
things of the world. I can't say, well, you know what,
(35:12):
it's too hard for that. So I'm just going to
let it slide by. No, I'm always the I guess
I'll say the annoying person in a meeting or in
a discussion. I always pointed back to the word that's
not scriptural, that doesn't line up with the word that
(35:34):
isn't what the Lord said. I don't see us living
any other way. Colossians three, verses two through seven. Set
your minds and keep them set on what is above
(35:54):
the higher things, not on things that are on the earth.
Far far as this earth is concerned. You have died,
and your new real life is hidden with Messiah in God.
When Messiah, who is our life, appears, then you will
appear with him in the splendor of his glory. So
(36:17):
kill deadened, deprive of power, the evil desire lurking in
your members, those animal impulses, and all that is earthly
in you that is employed in sin, sexual vice, immature impurity,
sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness. For
that is idolatry, the deifying of self and other created
(36:43):
things instead of God. It's on account of these very
sins that the holy anger of God is ever coming
on the sons of disobedience, those who are obstinately opposed
to the Divine will, among whom you will also once
walked when you were living in it and addicted to
(37:05):
such practices. A final fire is coming, first the purification,
and then a cleansing, and then judgment. Second Peter two,
(37:28):
starting verse five, and God did not spare the ancient world,
but save Noah, one of eight people at of probably millions,
a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood of the
world of the ungodly in turning the cities of Sodom
Gomorah into ash, condemned them to destruction and making them
(37:52):
an example of those afterward who would live ungodly, first
with water, then by fire. He's done it already, He's
shown us what he's going to do. But his heart
is not to destroy. His heart is to save. That's
(38:16):
why the Lord gave the apostle Paul a calling Acts
twenty six, starting verse seventeen. I will deliver you from
Jewish people. He's held them, as well as from the Gentiles,
to whom I now send you to open their eyes
in order to turn them from darkness to light, from
(38:41):
the power of Satan to God, that they may receive
forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are
sanctified by faith in Me. And I believe by giving
that to Paul, who would become the apostle to the Church,
(39:02):
who would build the foundation of the church, who would
spread it through the church. That's our calling to turn
them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan
to the power of God, so that they can receive
forgiveness for their sins and receive that wonderful inheritance we
(39:28):
have and be sanctified by our faith in the Lord.
The church is called to light the way out before
it happens. If the fire is falling, it's too late.
If you were in Pompeii and the volcano exploded and
the fire was falling, it was too late. You hadn't
(39:49):
gotten out. It won't be any different than that. I
wouldn't want to love I want to go through that,
would you. I wouldn't want a friend or somebody I
cared about to go through that, would you? How does
(40:13):
that not motivate his church? I don't know. It's hitting
me pretty hard just saying it out loud and seeing
the faces of friends and families and other people that
I care about who aren't going to make it. Over
(40:34):
the last couple of days, I've been thinking about that
a lot, to where I'm just I've decided that I'm
just going to be bold and I'm going to be blunt.
This is the way. But I'm also going to know
(40:57):
this someone not going to choose it, and it'll break
my heart to see them in the flame, see them
in the fire, but they won't be able to say,
why didn't you tell me? The night is far spent,
the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off
(41:18):
the works of darkness, and let us put on the
armor of light from its thirteen twelve. Maybe you need
to do like I did when I first got saved
and started walking this walk. Take a scripture like that,
Put it on your phone, your tablet, or your iPad
(41:39):
or your computer, or put it, make a little sign,
put it up somewhere where you're going to see it
to remind yourself. I am putting on the armor of
light today. I want to cast off those works of darkness.
I'm much shine one Peter True nine. You are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, his own
(42:05):
special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Your special your God's own purchase, paid for with the
(42:27):
blood a special people that he cared so much about
that he had them naw his son to a cross,
that you you may be able to set forth the
wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him
(42:50):
who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Believer Study Bible said, the function of this believing community,
and that's what we are a community of believers, is
to proclaim the praises of God. The doctrine of the
(43:16):
priesthood of all believers is a significant New Testament revelation.
The old dispensation featured a levitical priesthood offering sacrifices for
the people with they were interceding with God on their behalf,
(43:37):
and on the day of Atonement, before entering before God,
they offered a sacrificial blood for the people. The New
dispensation makes each believer a part of that royal priesthood,
so that means one, every believer has immediate access to
(43:59):
God in Yeshuah, Homiciah, Jesus the Messiah. Every believer, you
don't have to go through anybody else. Two, the approach
to God has been made forever open by the perfect
sacrifice of Yashoah. That's why the temple val was ripped
(44:20):
from top to bottom could never be sown back together.
And Three, the saints of God have the privilege and
responsibility of interceding for one another before God. Finally, for
(44:42):
each believer has the responsibility of a meaningful priesthood, representing
God to the people through witnessing and teaching. We have
a calling each and every one of us, whether you
(45:03):
know it or not, whether you like it or not.
You've been called, you've been chosen, you've been set apart.
He paid a price for you. The least we could
do is worship him. The least we could do is
intercede for one another. The least we could do is
(45:25):
care about those who don't know Him, who will suffer horribly,
not just once, but for all of eternity. It's the
least that we could do. You know, last week I
mentioned the Paul Wilbert CD or album what he will
(45:47):
call it. Holy fiber. Holy fiber. Holy fiber is good
for you too, It keeps you clean. Holy fire. Paul
Wilbur nineteen ninety seven. I was right last week. It
was ninety seven. Actually for some of you. I prayed
(46:08):
for some holy fiber. You need to get cleaned out,
you need to get flushed out, you need to get
right inside holy fire. It's amazing for me, even before
firefall came about, because even before God gave that name
(46:31):
and gave me that calling, I've always been called. In
Mount Carmel and Elijah's confrontation with the prophets of Baal
and Ashroth, answering with fire in the upper room, with
the fire fell so that passion, that fire has always
been a desire. And then this music comes along, and
(46:57):
the song Holy Fire itself, the little lyrics, all this
Holy Fire, You're my complete desire. Spirit of the Lord,
consume me, Take my life a living sacrifice. I will
worship you forever. Holy sp Holy Spirit. I'm sorry, I
(47:20):
am just completely vibrating. Just spirit is all over me
and I'm trying to talk here. Holy Spirit, feel me
fill my life completely, Fill me with your strength and power.
Let your name be glorified. Holy Fire, You're my complete desire.
(47:46):
Spirit of the Lord, Consume me, take my life a
living sacrifice. I will worship you forever. We're a holy nation,
chosen generation to declare the praises of our God and
(48:07):
to spill the enemy. I remember when that first came out.
Anytime I went on a long distance drive. Back then,
I was doing a lot of that. I was doing
business with somebody and South Florida area, and I'd have
to drive down and I turn that on and crank
it up and just sing it at the top of
(48:27):
my lungs. Holy Fire, you my complete desire. I don't
want to be this way. I don't want the old
things to trip me up again. I don't want the
enemy to have any access to me. I want that power.
(48:49):
What the Lord said, next one you shall receive power.
You shall receive dunamous, explosive, dynamic power when the Holy
Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses
to me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria
and to the end of the earth. That's my heart's
(49:10):
cry to receive power, the ability, the efficiency, and the
might when the Holy Spirit came upon me to be
a witness. And I'm not there, but I would have
been in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and the ends of
the earth, very boundaries of the earth. I get to
(49:32):
participate in that last part. And thankfully, through doing this
since March or May of twenty ten, depending upon when
you look at when we started, I've been able to
do that people in South Africa, people in Europe, people
in the UK, people in Scotland. But I'd like to
(49:57):
be able to physically go to go of those places,
to redeem the land, to set the captives free, to
tear down the principalities, to shine the light, to start fires.
Aw To's has a quote here that I found that
(50:18):
I want to share with you. He says, religion can
reform a person's life, but it can never transform him.
Only the Holy Spirit can transform. When we have the
Holy Spirit, we have all that is needed to be
all that God desires us to be. Then he offers
(50:45):
kind of a closing statement, because we have shut out
the Holy Spirit in so many ways, we are stumbling
along as though we are spiritually blindfolded. Isn't that a
amazing that within a few decades of the Lord's death
and resurrection and ascension, Paul had to preach against that,
(51:10):
Peter had to preach against that, James had to talk
about it, and here we two thousand years later. Oh
my goodness, Larry and I were talking about that yesterday,
about how many in the Church don't even believe that
the gifts of the Spirit or the presence of the
Holy Spirit is still available to us. That makes no sense.
(51:39):
Be a living witness, walk and talk it be fired up.
I got to remind you of something Lloyd said in
Luke twelve, starting verse eight, And I say to you,
whoever confesses me before men, him or her, the son
(52:01):
of Man, will also confess before the angels of God.
But he who denies me before men will be denied
before the angels of God. And anyone who speaks against
a word against the Son of Man, it will be
forgiven him. But to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit,
(52:23):
it will not be forgiven. So when they bring you
to the synagogues and the magistrates and authorities, do not
worry about how or what you should answer or what
you should say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you
in that very hour what you ought to say. What
is blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. And the case that
(52:44):
he brings us up to the Pharisees and the Sadducees
who are accusing him of using the power of Satan
to heal people or to do the things he did
attributing the gifts of the Holy Spirit to Satan, saying
that their satanic in nature is blasphemy. It'll not be
(53:08):
forgiven in this age or in the age to come.
Be careful who you listen to, be careful to who
you support. One of the first things I do when
I check out somebody or I go to their website,
I want to know what they believe and if they
think there's no more Holy Spirit, that the gifts are gone.
(53:31):
They left when John the Apostle died. There's nothing they
have to say that I want to hear. We must
confess Messiah openly through the power and the guidance of
the Holy spirits. How can we evangelize? How can we
(53:51):
spread the good news? How can we take a stand
to the enemy if there is no infilling presence of
the Holy Spirit along with the gifts and the fruit.
This cannot be done in our own natural power. Fear
and worldly influence and retaliation would shut us up, and
for many that's exactly what happens. We need a supernatural
(54:15):
partner in this endeavor, the Paracleitos to walk beside us
to help us. Once we do that, once you willingly
accept that in Once you accept the Lord's gift to
the Holy Spirit, you'll have an easier time living the
(54:37):
truth and avoiding hypocrisy. How can we fear the world
when we know the Holy Spirit is in us from
the fun We can't. We shouldn't. I don't John fourteen,
Verses fifteen through eighteen. If you love me, keep my commandments,
(55:01):
and I will pray the Father, and he will give
you another helper that he may abide with you. Forever.
The Spirit of Truth from the world cannot receive because
it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him,
for he dwells with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you Orphans, says the Lord. I
(55:21):
will come to you later on in verse twenty six
of John fourteen. But the helper, the powaclaytos the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name. He will
teach you all things, and he will bring to your
remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I
(55:45):
leave with you. My peace I give to you, not
as the world gives. Do I give you. Let not
your heart be troubled, Neither let it be afraid. My piece,
his Peace, through the Holy Spirit, which is in you,
has been given, not a peace that the world can
(56:09):
give you. So don't let your heart be trouble. Don't
be afraid. He's given you this person, the He of
the Holy Spirit, Spirit of Truth, as a helper to
abide with you forever. That's the other reason John fourteen sixteen.
(56:29):
The Spirit's not going anywhere. As long as the Church
is here. He's here. You should pray that. You should pray,
Lord give if you don't have this. If you're listening
right now and you're seeing the thinking I'm not sure
I have that, ask him for it with a manifestation
(56:51):
to let you know that you have it. Say Lord,
I want to be filled right now with your Holy Spirit.
And if you want to add from the top of
my head to the bottom of my feet, I want
to be completely filled with the spirit, so I can
do all these things. And I would like the manifestation
(57:11):
of the gifts to let me know that it's there.
But also give me that love. Give me the fruit
of the spirit, and the gifts of the spirit fill me.
So if you have that, how can we fear confessing
the name of Yrshoe of before men when we know
(57:34):
that he's confessing us before the Father in heaven. I
read this interesting statistic came to mind. It's from the
Pew Research Organization who did a survey in twenty twenty two.
I'll just read it to you. In the United States,
(57:56):
thirty nine percent of adults say they believe we are
living in the end times. Well, fifty eight percent say
they do not believe we are living in the end
times Christians. I'll just use the term they put Christians
are divided on this question, with forty seven percent say
(58:19):
we are living in the end times. That means fifty
three percent of Christians don't believe that. Forty nine percent.
My gosh, it's only forty per seven percent of Christians
(58:46):
believe we are. Forty nine percent believe we're not. So
I guess there's a few undecided and how that breaks down,
and I've found this paragraph. It's interesting. Of the forty
nine percent of Christians that don't believe are living in
the end time, seventy percent are Catholic. Catholics don't believe
in the gifts. Some do. Let me rephrase this, some do,
(59:10):
but mainline Catholicism no gifts. Pretty amazing to me. When
asked if Jesus will return to Earth someday, more than
half of all US adults fifty five percent, including three
quarters of the Christians, say this will happen. I'm sorry,
(59:33):
what is going on here? Only seventy five percent of
Christians believe that Jesus is coming back. Protestants in the
evangelical ninety two percent and historically black eighty six percent
are more likely than other Christians to believe in a
(59:55):
second coming. Four in ten Americans either do not believe
that Jesus will return to Earth sixteen percent don't even
believe in him at all. That's our field sixteen percent.
(01:00:17):
But our field is in the church too. They've forgotten,
they don't believe. That's why Paul and Peter and John
and James are saying what they're saying to the church,
and they're still saying it. So it's not important that
(01:00:37):
men praise our names or care about us. It's only
important that we have proclaimed His name and done what
we've been asked to do, and God will acknowledge us
in the end. I don't need men's accolades. I just
want his. A final fire is coming, and we have
(01:01:03):
been called to be fires starters in the hearts and
minds of others, and in the church we have a
calling for that final fire. Lord. Suddenly the air in
(01:01:29):
this room stopped and everything became very serious, almost heavy.
Speaking those statistics out, I'd read them, but speaking them
out loud was just astounding to me. Don't ever let
us forget Holy Spirit. Don't ever let us forget. Don't
(01:01:53):
let us forget the Cross, don't let us forget the
empty tomb. Don't let us forget the upper room. Don't
let us forget that. But the King is coming, and
definitely don't let us forget that there's going to be
a final fire, and that we have a calling to
rescue people, to show them the way out, to keep
them from that, so that when you come to snatch
(01:02:16):
your church out of here, both you and gentile those
who call upon your name, they will not suffer the flame,
they will not suffer the judgment. They will not suffer
the time of Jacob's trouble. But until then, Holy Spirit,
(01:02:36):
help us to do the job, help us to walk
and talk it out. So I'm asking you right now,
as I pray for my brothers and sisters and myself,
for you to search us if there's anything in us,
any unclean thing, any unclean thought, any way of the
(01:02:57):
old nature. Burn it out of us, Burn out the dross. Lord,
consume us, Make us whole, Holy Yours, Make us pure
gold that reflects your face to a world that, without
knowing it, it's desperate to see it. We know that
(01:03:21):
all creation groans, but we grown, and they have holes
in their hearts that only you can fill. Send us,
Send us, Lord, fill us and empower us, and I
pray all these things and your shoe his name. Amen.
(01:03:46):
If you know somebody that needs to hear that word,
somebody that needs to get kindled stirred up, send this
to them. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May I don't know, make his face to shine upon you,
be gracious to you. May the Lord, I don't I
(01:04:07):
you're sure how, Musia, Jesus the Messiah, lift up his
countenance upon you and give you peace, Give you shell home.
