Due to problems that kept us from having a full session of The Porch, we will pick up the teaching on the gifts of the Spirit next time. Instead, I offer a brief warning about the rampant deception targeting and infecting the Church.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Oh Hello, Welcome to the Porch on Firefall Talk Radio.
I'm Richard Grund. This is a special edition of The Porch,

(00:28):
but even so, this is where you find the uncompromised
read letter basics of the Word of God, focusing on
the Book of Acts Church to see how they serve
the Lord. When we do that, we find the Church
the Lord intended, not the one Man created. The Porch
is a non denominational full gospel approach to the Bible
based on the examples of the Book of Acts Church,

(00:50):
which aims to restore the priesthood of the believer and
regain the world shaking influence the early Church had. Because
the Church age isn't over, the Upper Room experience is
as much for today as it was on the day
of Pentecost. That fire is yours if you want it.
We offer you the Word as the Apostles would have

(01:10):
to the Jewish and Gentile believers of their day, using
both Yeshua and Jesus. When speaking of the Lord, we
prefer to use the term Messiah rather than Christ, as
it more accurately reflects how he was referred to by
those who knew him. Additionally, we will provide definitions in Hebrew,
Greek and Aramaic when necessary. See getting back to basics

(01:33):
isn't just a motto, it's a mandate from the Lord.

(01:56):
including a po box if you need to mail your blessing.
Appreciate your support and encouragement. Thank you so much for
being a part of the Porch. Contact us if you
need prayer, we'd like to pray for you, or you
want to pray for others in the porch community. We
care about you. Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters

(02:17):
around the world. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and
the return of the Prince of Peace. But first I
want to praise him before we go into prayer. Over
the last two years you've heard me ask for prayer
and the newsletters and on here about some very dangerous
trees we had around our house, and they were so
big that we couldn't really do anything about them. And

(02:38):
I would pray and lay hands on them every season.
Every storm. Well, the blessing came in. Those trees are
down and more coming down. And that's why we're doing
this special edition. And I wasn't able to do last night.
If you hear chainsaws in the background, that's what's going on.
But praise him for fulfilling promises and answering prayer. I

(02:59):
praise him for my salvation, the ability to go directly
into the throne room as his son and say Abbah,
Papa Daddy. I thank him for my family, my wife,
my son's daughter in law's grandchildren, furry kids. Everything we
have comes from him. I thank him for the ability
to do this, to share his word with you, and

(03:21):
to share with you what he shares with me freely.
It's been given freely. I give pray now. We pray
first of all for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray
for the protection of our brothers and sisters around the world.
We pray for divine health and healing, returning back to

(03:42):
our divine design. We pray for continued blessings and funds
to go out and do what we've been called to do. So, Father,
we thank you. Right now we ask you to bless
and protect our families and all that we have. Keep
us from evil and evil ones plural, there's so many
of them. The kingdom of darkness is active, but we
are stronger because we have you at our side, Holy Spirit.

(04:07):
Have your way, Do whatever it is you want to do.
Remind us of your shoe, remind us of the cross,
remind us of this word. Let's protect this technology. Let
your will be done this time, this day, this hour
in yr Shoa's name.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Amen. These lessons are proprietary information, except where not of

(04:49):
the information comes from outside sources combination of that information.
The manner presented is exclusive, cannot be repeated or used
without permission. The date of this broadcast serves as the
interested date of the following information. In Matthew twenty four, starty,
verse three, the Lord says to the disciples, asking what

(05:11):
will be the sign of your coming in the end
of the age.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
And you sure has said, Take heed that no one
deceives you, for many will come in my name saying
I am the Messiah and will deceive many. And you
will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that
you are not troubled. For all these things must come
to pass. But the end is not yet. For nation
will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and they'll

(05:35):
be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these
are the beginning of the sorrows. Then they will deliver
you up to tribulation and kill you, and you be
hated by all nations for my namesake. Then many will
be offended and will betray one another and hate one another.
The many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

(05:55):
And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will
grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall
be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be
preached in all the world as a witness to all
the nations. And then the end will come. So this
is a warning word. Not a full session of the

(06:20):
porch will pick up the gifts of the spirit next time.
That was too big a lesson and too important a
lesson to try to squeeze in or to do with
the distraction. So I was going to wait till next week,
but I really felt like for some of you. I
know that this is all the word that you get,
and I feel that commitment. I don't want to call
it an obligation, but the commitment to be here every

(06:42):
week for you. And then this warning came up in
my spirit. Didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night,
and I dwelled on this. It's about deception. Do not
be deceived. Take heed. No one deceives you. The trigger
for everything I read in Matthew twenty four was the

(07:07):
Cross and the formation of the Church on Pentecost, because
Israel was set up to return as a nation. We
know that happened in nineteen forty seven. Forty seven forty
eight is when they entered in. False messiahs and false
prophets will rise up, perform great signs and wonders so

(07:27):
as to deceive, if possibly even the elect God's chosen ones.
See that I've warned you about this ahead of time.
Matthew continuing in Matthew twenty four versus twenty four and
twenty five, the warning is be careful that no one
misleads you, deceiving you, leading you into error. And I

(07:49):
watch on social media and I see the things from
people I know, and the people I don't know, and
I cringe. There's a whole lot of people talking that
really have nothing to say. It sounds arrogant, but many
times I feel like Paul. There's a lot of people
think they's something, but they're nothing to me because they're
spouting opinions. They're spouting somebody else's knowledge. This hasn't been

(08:13):
given directly to them from the Lord. They're presenting it
as thus says the Lord. But he didn't. And thankfully
we don't stone those people like they did in the
Old Testament. Be careful, be very careful, because many will
come in his name, on the strength of his name,
appropriating his name, declaring that he is the Messiah. And

(08:39):
that's how they'll lead you astray. Oh they're believers. Look
what they say, celebrities. Oh did you see this? And
then I read what they say, I check their social
media accounts, and I go, these people are not born again.
They say the right things, they got the catchphrases, but
they're not born again. Deception is rampant, and we must
wake up. The word deceive is to cause someone to

(09:03):
believe something that is not true, typically in order to
gain some personal advantage. Swindle, defraud, cheat, trick, hoodwinks, hoax, mislead, delude, fool, beguile,
double cross, Oh, so many, so many words go along

(09:23):
with that word. It's also to give a mistaken impression,
to fail to admit that something is not true, or
to fail to admit that something else is true. That
Jesus Sua is the son of the Living God. The

(09:46):
only way to heaven, the Messiah, that you must be
born again. He said it not me. So deception starts
from within, It starts with the familiar, It starts with misdirection.
Deception is sometimes a choice. We choose to be deceived
because we want to hear something in particular. But when

(10:09):
you become born again, when you become born from above,
you enter into the realm of the supernatural and the spiritual,
and you must live a life in accordance with that.
You have to study the Bible, you have to understand
what it teaches, and you need to learn how to
engage in and conduct spiritual warfare. And considering doing a

(10:32):
spiritual warfare series of lessons, either in the porch or
as a separate thing. That's something that would interests you.
Reach out to me, let me know I have no
problem doing more if I know that people a want
it and are going to listen to it. But if
we neglect to be on guard and fail to be

(10:53):
aggressive over the powers of darkness, guess what happens. They're
liable to defeat us. It's still liable to put us
back on our heels, put us in a defensive position
when we should be in a proactive offensive position. And
the key to a conscientious believer's life is opening that

(11:15):
Bible and reading it every day, and walking and living
by and in the spirit according to the revelation and
inspiration received from the Bible. So you get up every
morning and you pray. I pray over my family, my home.
I pray, I pray protection. I get push I push

(11:37):
back immediately. I praise first, of course, I acknowledge, and
then I declare and decree and set boundaries. I read
Psalm ninety one out loud, both as personal statement and
a corporate statement for me and my family and my
home and my pets. I speak the word. That's what

(11:59):
the enemy responds to. The Enemy's not moved by your opinion.
He's moved by the word. Morning you pray, pray during
the day, in the evenings before you go to sleep,
and have faith in God's presence in your life that day.
And I've said this before, and I will pray, and

(12:20):
if it doesn't happen by the end of the day,
I'll believe it's the next day. And I will keep
praying and keep believing until it manifests and it happens.
Study the scriptures. Refuse to accept anything contrary to the Word,
and that includes the known will of God. I hear

(12:41):
too many people say, well, I know what the Bible says,
but this is what the Lord said to me, and
I have to stop. No, he would not say that
to you. He would not say something that goes outside
his word. You want to think outside the box, that's great,
don't think outside the book. If it doesn't line up

(13:02):
with the word, it's a deception, either sent from the
enemy or sent from your own selfish desires. We must
be on guard concerning the doctrine. We must be on
guard and apply our own experiential knowledge, and if we
don't have any, we apply somebody else's that lines up

(13:22):
with the word. And the spirit has confirmed and we
can't believe or accept anything contrary to the spiritual and
eternal things in scripture. It has to be in harmony
with them. It has to resonate with them. And it
doesn't matter if it comes the most famous evangelist or preacher,

(13:44):
or even an angel from heaven, as Paul would say,
if they preach any other gospel but this one, let
them be accursed. The Bible judges the truth. The Spirit
confirms the truth. So we need to guard against impressions
or wherever relations or dreams or visions or anything that
comes in prayer. Let them be confirmed by the Lord,

(14:06):
checked to see if they line up with the word.
Don't just blanket willy nilly accept them. And I'm not
sure what willy nilly accepting is, but it just sounds good,
and I've heard it used a lot. Being deceived is
a very real possibility. And I don't care who you are,
because we're living in a time of deception. Second Thessalonians two,

(14:28):
starting verse seven, for the mystery of lawlessness is already
at work. Only he capital H Holy Spirit, who now restrains,
will do so until he is taken out of the
way another capital H. And then the lawless one will
be revealed. Holy Spirit reveals the lawless one the Lord
will consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy

(14:49):
with the brightness of his coming. The coming of the
lawless one is according to the working of Satan hostiton
and with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with
all unrighteous deception amongst those who perish because they did
not receive the love of the truth that they might
be saved. And for this reason God will send them

(15:10):
a strong delusion that they should believe the lie, that
they may all be condemned who do not believe the
truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Too many people sitting
in pews or chairs or wherever they are, think they're
born again, but they fit into that category. The mystery
of lawlessness is rebellion against divine authority and the coming

(15:34):
of the Lord. And it's a rain. It's a ruling
of lawlessness, sin, iniquity, disobedience, violation of the law, wickedness,
and it's already at work until the Holy Spirit, which
is restraining it, takes the church out of here, and
then it's turned loose on the earth. Do not be deceived.

(15:57):
Disobedience and sin go hand and aunt one leads to
the other. Proverbs twelve twenty. Deceit is in the heart
of those who devise evil. But counselors of peace have joy.
Be a counselor of peace. Jeremiah seventeen thirty, verse nine.
The heart is deceitful above all things, So don't follow

(16:19):
your heart and desperately wicked. Who can know it? I
the Lord search the heart, and I test the mind,
even to give every man according to his ways, according
to the fruit of his doing. The heart refers to
the mind, the source of thinking, your feeling, your action.
And unredeemed heart is ripe for deception. A heart that

(16:40):
is filled with rebellion or sin is ripe for deception.
And this deception is a constant battle. You cannot put
your guard down. A shield has to be up, that
sword of the spirit has to be in your hand
Jude one, chapter four. For certain men have crept in stealthily,
gaining entrance secretly by a side door, talking about ministers

(17:05):
and teachers. Their doom was predicted long ago. Ungodly impious,
profane persons who pervert the grace, the spiritual blessing in
favor of our God, into lawlessness and wantonness, and immorality
and disown and deny our soul Master and Lord Jesus
the Messiah. You'd be shocked how much false teaching, sinful

(17:29):
teaching is in the church. I'm doing the finger things
quotation the church today. If you can't be with the
one you love, love the one you with, it's okay. Grace, grace,
it's all. It's all grace. He forgives you, well, he
may forgive you, but you've left an open door to
the enemy, and now you're fair game one Peter two nine.

(17:52):
You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
his own special people, that you may proclaim the praises
of Him who has called you out of darkness into
his marvelous light. I praise him. Praise him for pulling
me out of the darkness. Praise him for bringing me
into the light. I praise him for opening my eyes

(18:12):
and giving me my family back, and setting me free
and allowing me to work in the family business, and
to tell you about him. Do that, start your day
in praise. Watch what happens, Watch what happens to your
inner man or woman. God's action is bringing people to himself,

(18:37):
and this is being resisted by the enemy. But the
light of His presence is opening eyes. And that's why
we can't deal with false teachings or impressions or this
person or that person. The Gospel is what sets them free.
The cross, the empty tomb, the upper room, the out

(19:00):
of this world fights against the change that the Gospel,
the good News brings into people's hearts and minds. And
once he loses them, he doesn't go, ho, Hume, I've
lost them, let me go find another. No, he fights,
He sends, He creates warfare, He creates tricks and deception
and sets up traps. Every day, every day, every day

(19:24):
walking in the spirit, praying. Unbelievers don't have this advantage.
Their minds have been blinded, their eyes are clouded. It's
our job to show them, to tell them, to share
the Word with them, to not compromise, to be a
living witness because they don't know better. They think, well,

(19:48):
I have a good heart, I'm a good person. Well
Proverbs fourteen twelve. There's a way that seems right to
a man, but it's the end. Its end is the
way of death. It's a way that seems right. Oh,
I am not evil. I don't do any of the
things you're talking about. Are you born again? Is Jesus
you sure your Lord and Savior? Is he your Messiah?

(20:13):
Well you know I don't go for all that religious stuff.
I don't do that born again thing. Okay, then guess what.
You have a problem. And I'm going to keep telling
you the truth until we figure it out together. And
this is nothing new. It was going on in the

(20:33):
time of the Book of Acts Church and two Timothy.
For verse one, Paul is urging Timothy in the presence
of God and Messiah Isshua, who will someday judge the
living and the dead when he comes to set up
his kingdom. Preach the word of God, be prepared, whether
the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and

(20:57):
encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming.
And I will say now is when people will no
longer listen to sound wholesome teaching. They will follow their
own desires. They will look for teachers who will tell
them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will

(21:17):
reject the truth and chase after myths. Usually what I
see is misery loves company and deception loves company. And
these people surround themselves with others who are saying what
they want to hear and what they agree with. So
there's nobody to confront them with, Hey, that's not in
the Word, that doesn't line up with God. So we

(21:41):
need to keep a sense of urgency. We need to
be ready, whether the opportunity is favorable or unfavorable, it's
convenient or inconvenient, whether it's welcomed or unwelcome. Share the word.
As a preacher of the Word, I always have to
be ready. There are various words and things, and these

(22:03):
with these men that are doing the trees, always talking
about the Lord, always talking about the blessing. Show people
in what way their lives are wrong. Don't bible, thump
them upside the head, in love, caring and compassion, show them,
convince them, and if their believers, rebuke and correct them,

(22:24):
warning and urging while encouraging them to be inexhaustible in
their faith. And you be inexhaustible in your teaching. Because
we're living in a time right now where people will
not tolerate sound, wholesome instruction, but have itching ears for

(22:47):
something pleasing and gratifying. And so they surround themselves with
teacher after another and go to this conference and that conference,
and this person's saying this thing. Oh my gosh, Richard,
did you hear about this? Well, yeah, that's all news man.
I was talking about that twenty ten. But what about
the gospel you're getting anybody saved, healed, and delivered because

(23:08):
they want their errors confirmed. Itching ears invite deception, being
told what they want to hear to validate their error
and their sin. Let's not do that. Let's live by
the spirit. Let's live by the Word. Let's open our bibles.

(23:30):
Let's do what he said to do. I do this
every week with you. And even though this is a
short one, it will be less than thirty minutes. Scripture
lines up with the word. It all ties together. Stop
listening to people that won't share the word. Oh well,
you know, I don't want to make anybody uncomfortable. You know,

(23:51):
I don't want to step in anybody's toes. That's why
we have the problem that we have. That's why we
have sin in the church, and divorce in the church
and all this various things of Romans. One that is
about the world is in the church. The church is infected.
We already had the vaccine, the blood of Yeshua. We

(24:14):
already had the cross. We already had the empty tomb,
We already had the upper room. Why are we infected?
Why are we sick? Why are we out there doing
what he said to do? Why aren't we shaking this
world one last time before the return of the King.
Why aren't we putting the enemy on its heels. We've
gotten complacent and we've gotten comfortable. And I will tell you,

(24:35):
as long as i'm speaking, as long as i'm doing this,
i won't let you get comfortable. And I'm going to
keep the enemy on its heels because the king is coming.
The King is coming. Father, Thank you, thank you for

(24:58):
warning us. But more than that thing, thank you for
loving us as your children, seeing what's going on, seeing
what's happening, and being concerned. You sent your shoe to
pay for our sins. And then Lord, you sent the
Holy Spirit to empower us to walk with us, to
help us to do this as a family, as a fellowship,

(25:22):
as a body. I'm asking you speak to my brothers
and sisters. I'm asking them that you open up their
hearts and their minds. If anybody just happens to stumble
on this, maybe they don't know you as Lord and Savior.
Maybe they realize I'm not born again. If you confess
with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus
was raised from the dead as the Messiah to pay

(25:46):
for your sins. If you will accept that, if you
will accept that payment on your behalf and make him
lord of your life, you'll be saved. Just pray, ask him.
There's no formal prayer, there's none of you know, I
used to do all that. Right now, it says right
here step one, just from the heart, say Lord, I'm

(26:10):
a sinner. I felt I need a savior. I need you,
and he'll come and then I'll send the Holy Spirit
and then I'll wash you clean, and he'll open your
eyes and I'll give you back what the enemy has
stolen sevenfold. The Holy Spirit I asked to touch my
brothers and sisters of warborne again that might not be
filled with the spirit, might not know what I'm talking about,

(26:34):
may not completely grasp the importance of this. You said,
if anyone lacks wisdom, to ask of you, and you'd
give it liberally. But they should ask in faith and
not doubt. So I ask you right now to ask
the Holy Spirit in faith without doubting, to receive everything
He has for you every gift, every fruit, every calling,

(26:56):
every confirmation, and to wash you clean, to burn off
of you anything that's not of him, anything that's not
of the Lord, any teaching that does not line up
with the Word. And for those of us that have
got our swords drawn Lord and our shields ready, and
are anxious to go to war, I just ask that

(27:17):
you turn us loose, that you give us the provision,
that you fulfill all the dreams and the visions. And
let's go set the captives free. Let's go plunder the
kingdom of darkness. Let's proclaim the name of your Shuahammosiah,
Jesus the Messiah as Lord, as King of kings and
Lord of lords, and shine the light into that darkness

(27:40):
and set them free. If you agree with me in
the name of Jesus, the name of your Shiah, say amen.
May the Lord, may I don't know, I bless you
and keep you. May the Lord shine, make his face
to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May

(28:02):
the Lord, may I don't know. You're sure a Hamasia,
Jesus the Messiah, lift up his countenance upon you and
give you peace. Give you shallow. I'm Richard gran This
