the Great Commission. The ongoing adversarial nature of the Born Again walk requires us to endure and overcome all obstacles and attacks. Faith and endurance are vital in spiritual warfare for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Hello, Welcome to the Porch on Fire False Talk Radio.
I'm Richard Grund. This is where you find the uncompromised
read letter basics of the Word of God. We focus
on the Book of Acts Church to see how they
serve the Lord. In doing so, we find the Church
Lord intended and not the one Man created. The Porch

(00:42):
is a non denominational, full gospel approach to the Bible
based on the examples of the Book of Act Church.
It aims to restore the priesthood of the believer while
regaining the world's shaking influence of the early Church. The
Church is not over. The Upper Room experience is as

(01:04):
much for today as it was on the day of Pentecost.
It's yours if you want it. We offer you the
Word as the Apostles would have to the Jewish and
gentile believers of their day, using both the Yeshua and Jesus.
When speaking of the Lord, we prefer to use the
term Messiah rather than Christ. Does it more accurately reflects

(01:25):
how he was referred to by those who knew him. Additionally,
we provide definitions in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramic when necessary.
Getting back to basics, isn't just our motto, it's a
mandate from the Lord that we intend to answer and keep.

Radio use to contact button. Continuing to pray for healing
and recovery from those that are sick or dealing with
this respiratory thing going around. And pray for our grandson
Jason as he has caught the flu. Poor little guy.
Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world,

(02:55):
and pray for the peace of Jerusalem because that means
the Prince of Peace has returned. Father, we come to
you in the name above all names, the name of Yoshihamashiyak,
Jesus the Messiah, your only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior.

(03:16):
We thank you for being the loving father that you are,
for setting us free, for caring about us, for sending
your shoe to die for us to pay our debts,
to do what we never would have been able to do.
Thank you. Thank you for loving us when we were unlovable.

(03:36):
Thank you, Lord for paying that price for the cross,
for the shame, the pain, everything that wet with it.
That day in Jerusalem, a wonderful day that it was.
It set us free so that we could come home
and have access to our Abbah. Father, thank you for
sending the Holy Spirit to walk with us, to teach us,

(03:59):
to guide us, to empower us. Thank you for our families,
our homes, our pets are possessions. I thank you for mine,
my wife's, son's daughter in law, grandchildren, furry kids. Everything
we have comes from you. I wouldn't be here without you, Lord,
I wouldn't have those things. We pray that you'd bless

(04:19):
us time together, bless the technology, keep us hidden under
the shadow of your wings. Keep the enemy bound and defeated.
And Holy Spirit, help us to learn to receive what
you want us to receive this day on the porch,
and I ask all these things, and you shoe his name,
And if you agree with me, say amen.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
The Lord said in this manner, Therefore, pray our Father
in Heaven Abbah, hollo'd be your name, your Kingdom. Come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us
our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not
lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil

(05:45):
one for yours as the kingdom and the power and
the glory forever. Amen. We started that because I wanted
to remind you of what we talked about last week.
Lord's Prayer from Matthew chapter six, verses nine through thirteen.

(06:06):
It's our example of a succinct, focused prayer. Since we're
talking about spiritual warfare, let's get right to it. There's
no time for long winded, dramatic prayers when serving the Lord.
There's no time to waste when engaging the enemy. Declaring

(06:29):
the Lord's prairie affirms our loyalty and identity. In keeping
with the imagery of a soldier from last week, it's
our pledge of allegiance. It's us declaring that our new
identity is in him. That he is our heavenly father.
It's his kingdom we care about. It's his will we

(06:51):
want done. We seek our provisions from him. We forgive
others because we've been forgiven. We have a new identity,
born again, saved, healed, and delivered, marked by the blood
name written in the Lamb's Book of life. And that
newer identity makes us targets of spiritual warfare. And that's

(07:19):
what Ephesians six twelveth through eighteen is about. That's what
the honor of God is about. It's the essential protection
against evil forces. I don't need to read it to you.
We've done it a lot. You should know it by now.
So to pray in this way is a distinguishing mark

(07:42):
of being a disciple of the Lord. It's to our
central focus in this warfare, in this time, is pleasing
the Captain of the Host. You're sure by knowing who
we are and why we serve him, it's our I

(08:04):
don't know. It's our statement of adoration and subjection to
his will, our desire to be obedient. And throughout the
Old Testament that was something that through external means, the
Lord taught Israel how to do. We now have the

(08:26):
infilling of the Holy Spirit and should do it much
more easily. But in Deuteronomy eleven, verses thirteen and fourteen,
it says, and it shall be that if you earnestly
obey my commandments. This is the Lord speaking to Israel
through Moses. Earnestly obey my commandments, which I command you

(08:48):
today to love the Lord your God, and serve him
with all your heart and with all your soul. Then
I will give you the rain for your land its season,
the early rain in the latter rain, that you may
gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil

(09:11):
well necessary provisions. If you ask me Deuteronomy eleven thirteen,
and it shall be that if you earnestly obey my commandments.
Look at that. If you earnestly obey, if you willingly,
passionately obey my commandments which I am commanding you today,

(09:34):
love the Lord your God, and serve him with all
your heart and with all your soul. Lord, we serve
you with all our heart, with all our soul. We
desire to walk in your word and obey it. In
John fourteen fifteen, Lord you said, if you really love me,

(09:56):
you will keep and obey my commandments. It's an act
of love. It's not an act of subjection. It's a desire.
Love inspires loyalty and obedience. So we put God's name,
God's kingdom, in God's will before all the earthly needs

(10:18):
of people. That's our priority, or should be anyway. And
the prayer of believers for the coming Kingdom and the
second coming of Messiah infers that our desire is for
and participation in the Kingdom of God, which means by

(10:39):
application and declaration, there will be engagement with the enemy.
They don't want you to have that. They don't want
us to experience this. They don't want that in this world. Well,
we don't care what they want, but we need to
understand that that this is a ongoing adversarial relationship. There's

(11:02):
no truth, there's no peace, there's no downtime, there's no
demilitarized zone. It's always on like Donkey Kong full time.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the
glory forever, his kingdom, his power, his glory. Now someday

(11:27):
Satan will be defeated permanently, once and for all, Sin
will be conquered, and death will be eradicated, and then
kingdom to the dominion, rule of the entire world, naturally
and spiritually will finally be the Lord's. But until then

(11:47):
we have our part to play. Go with me to
Hebrews chapter ten, starting verse thirty six. This will be
the amplified version. You have need of patient endurance to
bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising. So then when

(12:08):
you have carried out the will of God, you may
receive and a joy to the full what is promised.
For Yet, in a little while, he who is coming
will come and will not delay. But my righteous one,
the one justified by faith, shall live by faith, respecting
man's relationship to God and trusting him. And if he

(12:33):
draws back shrinking in fear. My soul has no delight
in him. But our way is not that of those
who shrink back to destruction. But we, you and me,
we are of those who believe for lying on God
through faith in Jesus the Messiah, and by this confident

(12:56):
faith preserve the soul. He who is coming will come
and will not delay. That's our hope, that's our blessed hope.
The Vine expository note says endurance is a word that
is formed from hippo, which means under in mino to remain.

(13:21):
It means perseverance, patience, bearing up standing, firm in the
face of difficulties. This is not passive complacency, but an
active hope that resists defeat and stands up courageously during

(13:42):
times of trial. Believers are to remain under these trials,
trusting that God loves them and is doing what is
best for them. See that's the key in warfare, because
it's going to get hot. Things are going to sometimes

(14:03):
go wrong in the sense that you will be attacked,
and sometimes the attacks will get through. James Chapter one,
verses two through four addressed this consider it nothing but joy,
My brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials,

(14:27):
be assured that the testing of your faith through experience
produces endurance, leading to spiritual maturity and inner peace. And
let endurance have its perfect result, and do a thorough
work so that you may be perfect and completely developed

(14:48):
in your faith. Lacking nothing, faith needs to be exercised.
Faith that is not exercised is a thought. It's not
an experience. There's no experiential knowledge to it. So we
know that he's coming, and until he comes, we endure,

(15:10):
we tarry, and we occupy. Ephesians four eighths says. Therefore,
it says when he ascended on high, he led captivity
captive and bestowed gifts on men. This is based on
a psalm, the Old Testament psalm, and that it pictures

(15:30):
God as a victorious warrior returning to Mount Zion. That's
thee he has sended up on high, leading Israel's defeated
foes in a triumphal pro session, you know, like proceeding,
like leading them, like forcing them to march. He led
captivity captive, That's what victorious generals did. And then he

(15:55):
distributes to Israel the spoils of war. He gave gifts
to men. So similarly, when you sure return to heaven,
he ascended up on high. He conquered Hacitan and the
fallen and their demonic hosts by leading captivity captive, and
he distributed spiritual gifts to his church. He gave gifts

(16:19):
to men. That's the offices and the ability to grow
his church immaturity and unselfish love. Growth. Ah, there it is,
that's the key word. Furthering the Kingdom of God in
a world under the control of the wicked, one being victorious,

(16:41):
engaging the enemy, defeating them, taking spoils, which are the
souls of the lost that are now set free. So
I want you to remember something. Want you to remember
first John chapter five, verses four and five. For whatever
is born of God overcomes the world. And this is

(17:04):
the victory that has overcome the world. Our faith. Who
is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes
that Yeshuah, that Jesus is the son of God. For
everyone born of God, everyone born again, is victorious and
overcomes the world. And that victory, this victory, has conquered

(17:29):
and overcome the world. It's our continuing persistent faith in
Yeshiah as the son of God as our Lord and savior.
So who's the one that is victorious who overcomes the world,
the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus

(17:52):
of Nazareth is the son of the living God again,
who overcomes everyone who is born again. John uses the
Greek neuter in the word everyone to underscore the fact
that everyone born again, regardless of gender or age, is

(18:14):
victorious over the world, the influences of the world, the
spirits of the world. That word overcomes in the Greek
nkaeu to conquer, to prevail, to subdue, both literally and figuratively,
to conquer. I like that word conquer, to conquer. We

(18:34):
are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. To overcome,
to prevail, to get the victory. Yes, victory in Jesus.
You want to sing it, go right ahead, I'll wait.
It means to carry off the victory, to come off victorious.
Same word used in Revelation three twenty one. To him

(18:56):
who overcomes, I will grant to sit with me on
my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with
my father on his throne. When you're an overcomer, with Yeshuah,
we sit with him in positions of authority. Same word.
Use the revelation six, verse two. And I looked, John said,

(19:18):
and behold a white horse, And he who sat on
it had a bow, and a crown was given to him.
And he went out conquering and to conquer, overcomer, conqueror.
That's us because of him, Because it's him, it's us.

(19:40):
So first John five, verses four and five speak to
the idea that when we are born of God, born again,
when we have a deep connection and faith in His power,
we have the strength to overcome any challenge or obstacle

(20:00):
in this fallen world. It's a message of hope and empowerment,
reminding us that our faith is a mighty force that
can help us triumph over difficulties and adversities. That's a
big word today. Empowerment, woman empowerment, racial empowerment. What about

(20:23):
spiritual empowerment? Because if I have that, I have it
over everything else. Winston Churchill during World War Two this
famous quote, never give in, never give in, never never
never never in nothing great or small, large or petty,

(20:45):
Never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Well,
I would add to that to make it a spiritual statement.
Except to loyalty, love, in obedience to the God that
we serve, we have the ability to overcome and endure.

(21:09):
He made sure that he gave that to us before
he left go to Lieuten starting verse seventeen. Now this
is before, this is at the beginning. This is after
he has set sent the apostles out two by two,
and I guess their first missionary trip. The seventy returned

(21:32):
with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons is subject to
us in your name. That would have been a big
thing for them. And he said to them, I watched
Satan fall from heaven like a flash of lightning. Listen carefully.
I have given you authority that you now possess to
tread on serpents and scorpions, and the ability to exercise

(21:55):
authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing
will in any way harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice
at this that the spirits are subject to you, but
rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven. Don't focus

(22:16):
on the power, don't focus on the authority. Don't focus
on anything but the fact your names are written in
the Lamb's Book of life. Listen carefully, he says, I've
given you, as a believer in me, the authority to
tread on serpents and scorpions, And that's a reference to

(22:37):
demonic powers, spirits, and the ability to exercise that authority
over all the power of the enemy, not just some
of it, over all of it. And nothing will in
any way harm you. That authority that we've been delegated,
the excessy of the power to act. It's a privilege,

(23:00):
a divine royal privilege. It's the capacity, the competency, the
freedom of the mastery, delegated influence. The king has given
us the power as authority and his rights. Ah. There
it is when you stand toe to toe with the enemy,

(23:20):
when you resist the enemy, you're doing it and enforced
delegated authority with all the rights of the one who
gave it to you. It's the power of rule, or
of government, whose government, his government, the power of him

(23:43):
whose will and commands must be submitted to by others
and obeyed. Now, having laid all that out there for you,
I want to return to something I read to you
a couple of weeks ago, that contemporary definition of spiritual warfare,

(24:04):
that attitude that's out there right now in the weak church.
Their perspective is that spiritual warfare is a cosmic war
of good versus evil. It's a daily battle between God
and Satan, between the Christian Church and the world system

(24:26):
ruled by our spiritual enemy. Well, is it a battle
between God and Satan? It was the cross changed that
it became between a battle between the enemy and the Church.
We will represent the King on the earth. We are

(24:48):
the King's representative. And when you walk in his authority,
his delegated authority, when you are not compromised, when you
have no sin in your life, when the enemy has
no ground founder access to you, you walk in the
fullness of who you show it is. But don't be foolish.

(25:10):
Although we walk in the flesh, we do not war
according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare
they're not carnal, they're not fleshy, but they're mighty in God.
For pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high
thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing

(25:32):
every thought into captivity to the obedience of Messiah, and
being ready to punish all disobedience one hour obedience is fulfilled.
Two Corinthians ten three through six. We have got to
stay focused on the weapons of our warfare. They're not

(25:53):
flesh and blood weapons. They're divinely powerful weapons to destroy
the strong holds, the fortresses of sophisticated arguments, demonic arguments,
and everything that exalts itself in proud defiance against the

(26:15):
true knowledge of God. And because it's so important, and
this weapon is so powerful, we take every thought and
purpose captive to the obedience of the one we served,
Messiah King, and we can punish every act of disobedience

(26:36):
from the enemy wants. Our obedience as a church is complete,
and therein lies the reason why the church has been
so ineffective. We keep forgetting the part of the equation
about our obedience. That's why the enemy is so active
in his deception to keep us in acts of disobedience.

(27:00):
If they're minute, they've lessened our power and our rights.
So we have this weapon, the weapon of the Word,
the weapon of the Holy Spirit, the weapon of the
gifts of the Spirit, and it's against the destructive deception
of the enemy. Everywhere you turn today, deception is everywhere.

(27:22):
False teachings are everywhere, False beliefs are being promulgated all
over social media and from pulpits Why is it our warfare?
Because he said so, It's been delegated to us with
the authority to handle it. It's not Michael the angel's job.

(27:42):
It's our job. Now. The angels will help us, they'll
be a part of the equation. They'll be there for
support and protection. But we're the advancing force. We're the
occupying army. Sheld have said Matthew twenty eight, starting verse eighteen,
All authority has been given to me in heaven and

(28:04):
on earth. All exucia has been given to me in
heaven and on earth. Go therefore, make disciples of all
the nations while you're being victorious. Go and there make disciples,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to

(28:28):
observe all things that I've commanded you. And lo I
am with you always, even to the end of the age.
It's interesting if you're paying attention that there are revivals
across the campuses in America. People are getting saved in
the thousands and getting baptized on the spot. That's authority,

(28:50):
that's power, that's obedience. That's plundering the kingdom of darkness.
That's doing what we've been told to do. Go all authority,
all absolute power and absolute rule of the King of
Kings and the Lord of Lords and heaven and on
earth has been given to him. Therefore it's been given

(29:10):
to us. Now go therefore, make disciples of the nations.
Help the people learn of me, he says, to believe
in me and obey my words, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, teaching them, teaching them, discipling them to

(29:32):
observe everything that I've commanded you. And lo, I am
with you, always remaining with you, perpetually, regardless of circumstance,
on every occasion, even to the very end of the age.
He is Lord, He's Lord over all. He is Lord

(29:56):
of all over all. So why would he give us
that kind of authority unless he meant for us to
use it and apply it. There's nothing in anything. I
just read that declaration from Matthew twenty eight that says
to me, sit your spiritual butt in apeuse somewhere and

(30:18):
do nothing. Let somebody else do it for you. Now
you go, you do Vine's expository note says, you show
His final words bring into focus everything that the Gospel
of Matthew and the Christian life is all about. If

(30:42):
you misunderstand and fail to apply what you Shua has
said in these verses, then to a large extent, you've
missed the whole point of being a believer. You've missed
the whole point of what the world calls Christianity. We
commonly refer to this passage as the Great Commission of
our Lord. Unfortunately, in many churches you could well call

(31:07):
this the great omission. Too often churches get involved in
trivialities and miss the most important things. They avoid. The
standing orders is Shamashiah Jesus the Messiah gave to his
church sounds militaristic to me. Standing orders be my occupying army.

(31:30):
Go do what we did, repeat, repeat, do it again.
Defeat the enemy, set the captives free, Shine the light
into the darkness. Go rescue the lamb in the lion's mouth.
Get your heart focused on what being the church should

(31:51):
be about. Stop worrying about where you sit and be
the church. Oh yes, have people you fellowship with. If
you need to go to a building, do that, whether
it's a home, a living room, a storefront, whatever it
may be, but be the Church. Every time I see
one of those memes talking about church and the talking

(32:13):
about a building, my comment always is, we are the Church,
not the building in which we sit or meet. So
this word revolves around this great commission of our Lord
is to do what to be passive, no, to be active,

(32:35):
to lead people to faith in Messiah. Then to help
them grow, to help them mature and have productive lives
as believers. I've done a lot for the Kingdom of Godden.
I'm not done yet, so I don't think I'm you know,
closing out anything. I've defeated a lot of the enemy

(32:58):
through the power of the Lord. I've set a lot
of people free, taking back a lot of land for
the Lord and rededicated it and cleansed it for him.
But my greatest desire, my greatest crown, is getting people saved,
heal and delivered. That's really what it's about. The great

(33:18):
commission of the King, the captain of the host, the
general of the army. That's what he said, go do.
All the other stuff is just a part of the campaign.
So my desire is that we get our hearts focused
on what being the church should be about, and it

(33:39):
revolves around the great commission. Lead people in faith. You
don't have to have everything memorized. All you're doing is
sharing with people what He did for you. If you
do it from your heart with sincerity and love, people

(33:59):
will live. They may make a decision on the spot.
They may make it down the road. Somebody else may
lead them. In the prayer of salvation. You'll plant someone
else's water. The Lord will get the harvest. All authority
has been given to me in heaven, on earth and
on earth. Go take this authority. I'm giving it to you.

(34:23):
I am saying, go with this authority. Hey, I have
the authority to give it to you. I have the
right to exercise this power, and I have the right
to allow you to move in that power. It's really
not that difficult to understand. Somebody wants to be a

(34:45):
law enforcement officers. They go to the academy, they pass
the test, they get sworn in, they get a badge.
Guess what they've got the authority of the county or
the city, or the state or whoever to act in
that authority, and they just do it. They don't come

(35:05):
to you and say, hey, I've gone to the academy
here here in the earth, I've done this, And this
person said that they just go and do it. They
live in it, they walk in it, they breathe it.
You sure was exercising his power. See when he became
a man and walked on the earth, he voluntarily restricted

(35:27):
his divine power. He was fully God, yet he was
fully mad. But now at this point that he's saying this,
he's preparing to return to heaven to reclaim his full authority.
Verse nineteen go Therefore in English, in our English, it

(35:47):
really means as you are going. It's both a command
and an assumption that you're going to do it. As
you are going, this is what you're going to be doing.
You're gonna be telling people about me. So you should
have had two great commands for believers. One command was

(36:07):
to come to him and the other command was to
go for him. How difficult does that? It's not, But
yet we've made it so difficult. And I believe that's
the deception of the enemy. I believe that was a
trick of the enemy. We should just be interested in

(36:29):
sharing the good news that when we look at every person,
we see it as an opportunity to tell them about
what the Lord has done for us and what he
can do for them. We must be in a mindset
of going, of doing, of sharing, of believing, go'll make disciples,

(36:53):
baptize them. I'll be with you. So when he says that, hey, Richard,
go make disciples, baptize them, I'll be with you, my
answer should be amen, I accept your orders. Lord. I
don't have to say that. He knows I will. I
have standing orders to go. I have standing orders to do.

(37:15):
What I do. I do to the best of my
ability to live up to those every day. I desire
to live to them twenty four to seven. But of
course I have cares in this world that right now
kind of not interfere with it, but slow it down.
But I also have one other thing in my mind

(37:37):
that I want to share with you in doing this.
If you really have a heart for this, and I
believe that you do, otherwise you wouldn't be listening to me.
We have to beware of the indigenous threat that is
out there when we do. This is not a controlled environment.
This is not Hey, nothing's going to trip you up,

(37:58):
nothing's going to attack you. It's all good. You know.
It's in a closed room. There's nothing to get in. Nope,
it's in the open world, natural and spiritual. So be sober,
be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like
a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him,

(38:21):
steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are
experienced by your brotherhood in the world. Anytime I mentioned
the devil, anytime I believe they mentioned the devil, a
it's a little d I believe it means all demonic forces.
It means the kingdom of darkness. He's not the only

(38:42):
one out there doing it. So when one Peter five
eight through nine tells me to be sober, the enemy
of yours, the devil is prowling around like a roaring
lion who is fiercely hungry, seeking someone to devour. Don't

(39:05):
be that one. Don't be that one that gets devoured.
Resist him. Be firm in your faith against his attack, rooted, established, immovable,
standing on the word of God, sort of the Spirit
in your hand, armor of God in place, knowing that

(39:25):
the same experiences of suffering are being experienced by your
brothers and sisters throughout the world. You don't suffer alone
we're in this together. There's more than just you. You're
not a lone ranger out there. There's others that are

(39:47):
doing this. So they're praying for you. You should be
praying for them. Resist. The act of imperative indicates an
assertive stance against the adversary's operations. Let's get real. The

(40:09):
devil's aggressive and his hostile kingdom of Darkness is aggressive
and hostile. They're everything he is, and more so we
as believers, and you sure must be spiritually alert king
fall asleep at the wheel, not only to withstand his attacks,

(40:31):
and that's what the Armor of God Ephesians six ten
through eighteen is about, but in prayer, in spiritual warfare
opposing him and standing with others we remember, brothers and
sisters throughout the world are involved. To be vigilant simply

(40:56):
means be alert to the spiritual pitfalls of life life.
Take appropriate steps to make certain that we don't stumble
the enemy's real good about that's the Psalm ninety one.
Angels lift you up so you don't dash your foot
against the stone. We're going to be looking at Psalm

(41:16):
ninety one in a couple of weeks. That's probably one
of the most powerful sections of Scripture that you can
actually use for spiritual warfare. Don't stumble, don't get caught
up in the snares of this world so that you
trip and fall. Be vigilant, have your mind under control

(41:40):
when it comes to the conflict that we have with
Haciton and the fallen and the Kingdom of darkness. Don't
be paranoid, but be focused, be controlled. And those attacks,
what are they? They're the external influence of evil spirits
intended to attack a weakness, a spiritual flaw and open

(42:03):
door in our lives, a lack of understanding or preparedness.
That's why you have to be vigilant in your prayer life,
in your study of the Word. You cannot be spiritually careless.
A mistake like that can be fatal. And why is

(42:27):
he doing this? So many reasons why he's doing it,
but there's one main reason, to hinder the kingdom of
God so that his own kingdom prevails. Soandovini Illustrated Bible
Dictionary says that there's a Satan is animated by an

(42:48):
unrelenting hatred against God and all that is God. Satan
and the Kingdom of Darkness is engaged in a worldwide,
age long struggle against God ever, seeking to defeat the
divine plans of grace and salvation and to seduce people

(43:13):
to evil and ruin. He's obsessed. Talk about the original
obsessive compulsive person OCD. Obsessive compulsive devil. Yeah, that's him. OCD.

(43:34):
Revelation twelve nineteen describes him as the age old serpent
who's called the devil and Satan, who continually deceives and
seduces the entire inhabited world. He's got an endgame. You
want to talk about endgame, that's it. He's seducing, deceiving,

(43:56):
and seeking to destroy the world and to make it
in his own image. And we are the occupying army
that was authorized to stand against that. And what's the deception, Well,
false information about him, first of all, false teaching he

(44:17):
inspires and not letting us believe his coming in defeat.
You know, there are people out there that claim to
be believers that don't even believe he exists, or that
if he did, he's not actively engaged against us. He's

(44:41):
pretty brilliant. You gotta be careful with him. He seduced
Adam and even Genesis three look how that's turned out.
He insinuated to God that job only served him for
selfish reasons for what he got from God. In Job
one nine, he stood up against Israel by inspiring David

(45:03):
to count the population in First Chronicles twenty one to one,
tricking David into thinking of himself as a powerful man
in command of an invincible nation, rather than a man
who relied on God for direction and success in warfare.
And we know what happened there. Many people died because

(45:24):
of David falling for this seduction, and then Revelation twelve
ten says he is the accuser of believing brothers and
sisters in the Lord day and night before the Throne
of God. He's not a nice entity. And I know that.

(45:45):
I don't say this as a joke. I'm saying there's
nothing good in him. There's no truth in him. Even
when he speaks the truth, he's doing it as a lie.
And even under divinely imposed limitations, he can still be
instrumental in causing physical affliction or financial loss. That's a

(46:08):
tough one to accept. Well, how did this happen? Lord?
Why is this happening? Well, we live in a fallen world,
he's in control, he's got limitations, but you're still going
to have some problem. Paul had a thorn in his
flesh two Corinthians twelve seven because of the surpassing greatness

(46:31):
and extraordinary nature of the revelations which I received from God.
For this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself
as important to thorn in the flesh was given to me,
a messenger of Satan to torment and harass me, to
keep me from exalting myself. Basically, you're not all that.

(46:53):
I'm not all that. Every now and then he allows
the enemy to remind us of that. We didn't get whipped,
we didn't get scourged, we didn't bleed every drop of blood,
we didn't get nailed to a cross and have all
that done. So we're not all that. So many people
think they're all that. They get a revelation, they get
a vision, they get a word, and suddenly they're this.

(47:15):
They're a prophet, they have a name, a prophetess, a name,
tag of ministry. Whatever big freaking deal. He used the
donkey to stop the madness of a prophet, and he
decides to use you, then consider yourself that donkey. You're
not all that Satan's busy snatching away the word of

(47:39):
God that is sown in the hearts of the unsaved.
Look what the Lord says to Matthew thirteen nineteen about
the parable of the sower. The seed that fell on
the footpath represents those who hear the message about the
Kingdom and don't understand it. Then the evil One comes
and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts.

(48:04):
When anyone here's the word of the Kingdom regarding salvation
and does not understand it and doesn't grasp it, the
evil One and all the entities that serve him will
come and snatch it away before it gets Bear's root

(48:27):
digs down into their heart and holds. That's why you
have to disciple them. That's why you have to walk
with them. That's why you have to be available to them.
Because he's out there, and I say he remember vast network,

(48:49):
hive mind, various entities from fallen angels to demonic offspring,
all working together for a common goal to blind the
minds of people to the Gospel. So we lay his
name on it, but it's really all of it. It's

(49:09):
all of the Kingdom of darkness and what are they doing?
According to Second Corinthians four to four, the serving Satan,
who is the God of this world, has blinded the
minds of those who don't believe. They aren't able to
see the glorious light of the good news. They don't

(49:30):
understand this message about the glory of Messiah, who is
the exact likeness of God. Second Corinthians four to four
Matthew thirteen nineteen tie together. They don't understand the message.
They've been blinded. It's been stolen from them. So we

(49:52):
have to keep shining. Don't let your like go out,
let your light shine. But what does he do in
steady induces them, seduces them to accept his lie. We're
in a phase right now. Oh my gosh, the lies
of the enemy. People flocking to specific churches and denominations.

(50:18):
That will be their ruination because they're false. Tewod Thessalonian,
Chapter two, verses nine and ten. The man, it's the
man of tradition, the coming of the lawless one will
come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power
and signs and miracles. He will use every kind of

(50:41):
evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction.
Because they refuse to love and accept the truth that
would save them. Bible says, he transforms himself into an
angel of light by presenting his apostles of falsehood, his
false teachers, as messengers of truth two Corinthians eleven thirteen

(51:05):
through fifteen. These people, Paul says, are false apostles. They
are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Messiah.
But I am not surprised. Even Satan disguises himself as
an angel of light, so it is no wonder that
his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In

(51:29):
the end, they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserves.
He hinders the work of God's servants. Paul points that
out in First Thessalonians two eighteen. We wanted very much
to come to you and I Paul tried again and again,
but Satan prevented us warfare ongoing skirmishes out in the

(51:54):
battlefield to get the job done. And you know when
Peter wrote first Peter there about the Roaring lion Onet
Peter five eight through nine, he was writing from firsthand experience.
He wrote it around sixty three or sixty four AD,
shortly after the beginning of Nero's persecutions of Christians at Rome,

(52:20):
and Peter was martyred during the reign of Nero in
about sixty four AD. So he was writing from firsthand experience.
And if Satan well the only threat, it'd be bad enough.
But when we add to it the vast network of
evil at his command, it's an ongoing twenty four to

(52:43):
seven unrelenting warfare. That's why you got to pray over
yourself before you go to sleep. Pray over your mind
so things don't invade your dreams. Pray over your home,
your family. You passed your possessions constantly, first thing in
the morning, last thing at night, sometimes during the day.

(53:03):
Stop acting like there's nothing threatening or dangerous out there.
We must commit ourselves to endure and to overcome all
the attacks and all the obstacles. And it is a commitment.
It cannot be casual two Corinthians six, verses four through ten.

(53:26):
But in all these things we commend ourselves as ministers
of God in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,
in stripes and imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness,
in fastings, by purity, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness,

(53:50):
by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word
of truth, by the power of God, by the armor
of righteousness, on the right hand and on the left,
by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report,
as deceivers and yet true, as unknown, and yet well known,
as dying, And behold we live, as chastened and yet

(54:15):
not killed. This sorrowful it always rejoicing, as poor, yet
making many rich, as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. Now,
that's a list of problems, and Paul certainly had problems
after coming to know. You're sure some problems come to

(54:37):
us simply because we are believers. It's just gonna happen.
We've made a declaration, we've offered our loyalty, and for
some reason, people have this idea that once they get saved,
no more problems. The truth of the matter is, probably
we have a new set of problems. We have new enemies,

(55:00):
and I'm okay with that. Maybe you're not, but I
am means I know where I'm going to spend eternity
and who I'm going to spend it with. The Kingdom
of Darkness, Satan and the fallen and their demons. They're
not happy when people get saved. They're just not. In Philippi,
when Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown into prison

(55:22):
and clamped into stocks, yet what did they do. They
sang praises and they prayed, and God was with them
during those difficulties, and he gave them deliverance. In addition,
they plundered the Kingdom of darkness. The jailer on the
verge of suicide got saved. Act sixteen, Verses sixteen through

(55:45):
thirty four. Now just tell you the story real quick.
Paul and Silas are preaching, and there's a girl who's
a prophetess. She serves, she's an oracle of Delphi, serves
a powow. She has the spirit of divination in her.

(56:07):
And so while they're preaching, she follows them, shouting, these
men are servants are the most High God, and they've
come to tell you how to be saved. Now you think, hey,
this is okay. She's confirming. No, she's distracting. She's drawing
the attention away from Paul and Silas and the Lord

(56:29):
to her. And of course the people know her because
she's there every day and they buy fortunes from her,
and this one on day after day until Paul finally
said enough. He turns and looks at her, to the
demon within her and says, I command you, in the
name of Jesus, the Messiah is shu Hamashia, come out
of her, and instantly it left her. Now, folks, there

(56:53):
was no dance, there was no holy water, there's no
cross on her forehead. He wasn't wearing anything. He just
said it spoken word, the spoken authority, and that demon
went yeah to golf. So now what happens is her
masters hope of wealth have been shattered. So they grabbed

(57:14):
Paul and Silas and dragged them before the authorities, and
everybody gets in an uproar and all this stuff. So
they're teaching customs that are illegal for Us and Romans
to practice. A mob forms, and so what do the
officials do. They strip them down, beat them with rods,

(57:34):
I mean severely beat them with rods, and then they
throw them into prison, and to make sure that they
didn't escape, the jailer locked their feet up in stocks.
So not only they've been beaten, their wounds have not
been treated they've got shackles around their ankles and they're

(57:55):
chained to the wall or to the to the bars.
So what do they do? Around midnight? Paul and Silas
are praying and they're singing hymns and they're praising God,
and the prisoners can hear them. They're listening, probably saying
shut up already and complaining, and the demons inside those

(58:15):
people are acting out and making all sorts of calamity
and chaos and noise. And then suddenly a massive earthquake
hits the prison, shakes it to the foundations. All of
the doors fly open, not just theirs, but all of
them in the chains of every prisoner fell off. Folks,

(58:36):
let me tell you something, when you preach the gospel,
when you praise God, when you're moving into the power
of the Holy Spirit, chains fall off. All the chains
fall off. And the jailer wakes up and he sees
the prison doors wide open, and he just assumes all
the prisoners have escaped, and an under Roman law, that

(58:58):
would mean he'd be punished and he'd be executed, and
he draws his sword to kill himself, and Paul shouts
to him, stop, don't kill yourself. We are all here.
The jailer calls for the lights, and he runs to
the dungeon and he falls down trembling before Paul and Silas,

(59:26):
and he brought them out. He said, sirs, what must
I do to be saved? I don't remember hearing a
salvation message. I don't remember Paul and Silace doing anything
but singing and praising and showing the glory of God
and showing grace and love. Sirs, what must I do

(59:47):
to be saved? And they replied, believe in the Lord,
you shoe. I don't know your shoe, and you will
be saved along with everyone in your household. And they
share the word of the Lord with him and with
all who lived in his household, And even at that
hour of the night, the jailer cared for them and

(01:00:08):
washed their wounds, and then he and everyone in his
household were immediately baptized, and he brought them into his
house and set a meal before them, and he and
his entire household rejoiced because they all believed in God.
Satan overplayed his hand. They threw him into prison. They

(01:00:34):
beat him up because of him casting out that demon
out of the girl. And what happened victory in Jesus.
Victory and Yeshiah defeats at the hands of Paul and
Silas through the power of the Lord, spirit of divination,
cast out Python, Spirit, gone jailor, saved, household saved, Paul

(01:01:07):
and Silas set free. All those other prisoners saw what happened.
They heard what happened. I call that some witnessing. I
call that some kingdom victory in Jesus and Yeshiah. I
call that enduring and overcoming wundering the kingdom of darkness,

(01:01:28):
setting the captives free. That's what this is about. That's
what spiritual warfare is about. Paul and Cyrus Silas endured
the pain and the suffering to become overcomers for the

(01:01:49):
Kingdom of God. Kingdom work brings both great victory and
problems with the God of this world. When those problems come,
the Lord will bring out great victory if you will
allow him to be with you and those problems. Steadfastness

(01:02:11):
leads the victory into the advancement of God's kingdom and
to us doing what He has called us to do
the great commission. Father Abbah, Papa Lord, we love you.
We want to see this over and over and over

(01:02:32):
and over again before you come back. We want to
see it in our lives. We want to see it
in our families. We want to see it everywhere we go.
For people to get saved, healed, and delivered, for us
to have the boldness to speak a word and do
season in and out doesn't matter, to be ready to
share your love and your grace and your mercy and

(01:02:54):
what you did for them, starting with our household, in
our families and our our loved ones and our friends,
and going out to the darkness and being beacons and
people that are trapped in that darkness seeing a great
light and being drawn to it. Nothing fancy. This is

(01:03:17):
spiritual warfare, plundering, saving, healing, delivering. So I'm asking right
now for me and my brothers and sisters fill us
to overflowing. If there's anything that hinders us, any thoughts,
any emotions, any decisions, if the enemy has any access

(01:03:38):
to us in any way, shape or form, close that door,
seal it shut in the blood, and let's go do this.
Let's go shake this world one last time before the
return of the king. Let's have victory and your shoe,

(01:04:01):
Let's overcome and endure. And I pray all these things,
and you shoe his name. Amen. May the Lord bless
you and keep you. May the Lord make his face
to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May
the Lord lift up his countenance. Hey, I don't know

(01:04:21):
I you show amasiak Jesus the Messiah, lift up his
countenance upon you and give you peace. Give you shall Om.
