Speaker 1 (00:21):
Welcome, Welcome to the Porch. On Firefall Talk Radio, I'm
Richard grind This is when we get back to basics,
the Red letter basics, the uncompromised Red letter basics of
the Word of God. We focus on the Book of
Actor Church to see how they serve the Lord. When
(00:41):
we do that, we find the Church a Lord intended,
not the one Man created. The Porch is a non denominational,
full Gospel approach to the Bible based on the examples
from the Book of Actor Church. It aims to restore
the priesthood of the believer, regaining the world's shaking influence
(01:02):
that the early Church had. The Church age isn't over.
The Upper Room experience is as much for today as
it was on the day of Pentecost. It's yours if
you want it. We offer you the Word as the
Apostles would have to the Jewish and gentile believers of
their day, using both Yeshiah and Jesus. When speaking of
(01:22):
the Lord, we use the term Messiah rather than Christ,
as it more accurately reflects how he was referred to
by those who knew him. Additionally, we provide definitions in Hebrew, Greek,
and aramaic when necessary. Getting back to basics isn't just
our motto. It's a mandate from the Lord, and we
(01:43):
honor that every time we come together here on the Porch.

and being the remnant that will change the world and
shake it one last time before the return of the King.

My wife recovering from her surgery. Thank you for those
that have been pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters
around the world that are being slaughtered, oh absolutely obliterated,
for their faith in the Lord. And pray for the
continued peace of Jerusalem that means the return of the
(03:08):
Prince of Peace. We're in a momentary lull. I do
not believe that this is peace. Won't go into that
right here and now. But let's face it, I have
no expectation that dishonorable, demonically possessed people can ever honor
any agreement. But that's just my opinion. Start I with
(03:29):
praise and prayer and the sound of the show. For
so I praise them first and foremost for my salvation.
Without that, I have nothing. I am nothing. Praise him
for my wife, my son's daughter in law's grandchildren, for
his kids, everything that he has given me. Definitely everything
comes from above from him. I thank him for saving me,
(03:50):
for delivering me, for setting me free and translating me
into the kingdom of his son so that I can
shine the light into the darkness and lead others out
as he did meet. I praise him for the ability
to come together here every week with you to do
this and all that we have for this word, for
(04:11):
his promises being fulfilled. They are yea and amen, and
I know He is as good as his word. I
praise Him for each and every one of you. I
thank you for being a part of our life and
being a part of this journey all these years. Celebrated
my salvation birthday last week and it just kind of
(04:35):
slipped by thirty seven years. It's not amazing thirty seven years.
And in all that time, you always think, Okay, this
is the year the Lord comes back, this is the
year the signs are there, and I believe we are
closer than ever before. But we're not there yet. Let's pray, pray,
(04:57):
continue to pray for our brothers and sisters. Pray for
our Jewish brothers and sisters. Pray for their salvation, that
they would come to know Messiah. Pray for those that
need to be born again, that have heard the Gospel,
that are sitting in the pew somewhere and they have
never really truly become born again. They've had a religious experience,
(05:19):
and unfortunately he will look at them and say, I
never knew you. Pray for divine health and healing as
we get back to our divine design the way he
wants us to be so that we can be used
by Him, that we can be a blessing to others,
that we can live a life that He has designed
(05:40):
for us and ordained for us. Pray for protection. We're
living in a fallen world. There's an enemy out there.
We're going to talk a little bit about that tonight.
In the weeks ahead, as we begin this spiritual warfare journey,
We're live in a fallen world. We have been redeemed.
This world has not, but it will someday. So I
(06:03):
pray for his soon return. I pray that he would
set all the captives free, that he would redeem the
land that all creation groans for the return of the King.
And I know I grown on the inside each and
every day, one eye on the sky, one eye on
the calling and the commitment. Pray for this technology, Lord
(06:24):
right now, for us, this to be blessed, for this
time together. Be blessed your will to be done. Though
interference from the enemy who is defeated, we bind them
and remind them that they have no right and authority
against us. We take Arthof's captive to the obedience of Messiah.
Claiming the mind of Messiah. We cast down every vain
(06:46):
imagination that would exalt itself above the knowledge of el
On God most above Father. Soly spirit have your way,
do whatever it is you want to do. We thank
you Lord for all of that, and we pray in
Jesus' name Amen.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Billy Graham says, we are born into a state of warfare,
with the forces of evil all around us. Boy, is
that an understatement. We are born into a fallen world
under the control of the evil One and all that
serve him, both natural and supernatural. But we have been redeemed.
(08:12):
We have been born again, our names written in the
Lamb's Book of Life. We have been delegated an authority
to be able to tarry, to endure, to occupy, but
that has not happened. We're going to talk about some
possible reasons why that is as we begin spiritual warfare tonight.
(08:36):
We're talking about the threat assessment. What is a threat
assessment is the process of identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential
threats to determine their credibility and seriousness, as well as
the likelihood that they will materialize. Well, yes, that is
(08:56):
a natural definition, but it is also a supernatural It
applies perfectly for where we're going tonight. So hope you
have your Bibles open. I hope you're taking notes. I
hope you're downloading this to review and listen to again
and to share with others. There are members of the
Remnant out there that don't even know that they're the
(09:17):
members of the Remnant. They're sitting in a few or
they think they've been told that they are. But what
they're being taught will not help them in the days ahead.
So what is the threat? Richard, Well, I'm glad you
asked me that. Go to Matthew twenty four, starting verse three,
if familiar verse, We're going to take a look at
that from that perspective. Now, your shoe was seated on
(09:40):
the Mount of Olives. The disciples came to him privately
and said, tell us when this destruction of the temple
will take place, and what will be the sign of
your coming and the end of the completion, the consummation
of the age, and he says, be careful that no
one misleads and deceives you, leading you in to error.
(10:00):
This is the amplified version. For many will come in
my name, misusing it and appropriating the strength of my name,
which belongs to me, saying I am the Messiah, the Anointed,
which means he is. And they're going to point to him,
but they're not going to know him, and they will
mislead many. You will continue to hear of wars and
(10:20):
rumors of wars. See you are not frightened, for those
things must take place. But that is not yet the
end of the age. For nation will rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom, and they will be famines and
earthquakes and various places. Now that kingdom, let me stop here.
I'm going to stop and explain something. Kingdom against kingdom
(10:44):
is a natural one, but it's also a supernatural one.
Not all of the kingdom, not all of the separate
entities within the powers of darkness, are in agreement or aligned.
So there are various kingdoms within there. And when the
fallen come out of the pit and the demons come
out of the pit, they're going to want to go
(11:04):
to their tribes. They're going to want to go to
their lands, and they're going to restore their kingdoms from
before the flood. Thankfully, you and I won't be here
for that, because it's going to be hell on earth.
These merely the beginning of the birth pangs, an interrible, intolerable,
excuse me, anguish, and a time of unprecedented trouble. Then
(11:30):
they will hand you over to endure tribulation, and you
will be put to death, and you will be hated
by all nations because of my name. At that time,
many will be offended and repelled by their association with me,
will fall away from the one whom they should trust,
and will betray one another, handing over believers to their prosecutors,
(11:54):
and will hate one another. That falling away is going
to include people that turn their back on the Lord
and then turn their back on the Church and betray
their brothers and sisters. Many false prophets will appear and
mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased. The love of most
(12:19):
people will grow cold. But the one who endures and
bears up under suffering to the end will be saved.
This good news of the Kingdom, the Gospel will be
preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations,
and then the end of this age will come. Now,
usually we stop there, but we're going to keep going
(12:40):
to verse fifteen. So when you see the abomination of desolation,
the appalling sacrilege that astonishes and makes desolates spoken of
by the prophet Daniel standing in the Holy Place, Now,
what is he talking about? The new Temple, once it's
(13:00):
built and blessed and consecrated, whatever you want to call it.
First of all, the Temple is not for the Church.
It's for the Jews. It's not for the Lord. He
doesn't need it. Actually, in my opinion, it's being built
for the Antichrist. It will expose him, it will reveal him.
It will set in motion everything that Satan and the
(13:23):
fallen have been planted and bring them out into the light.
The Antichrist, the Prince who is to come from Stephic
and Thessalonians two four, will make a covenant with Israel
and will break that covenant in the middle of the
seven year period that Daniel talks about in Chapter nine
(13:44):
of Daniel. When that happens, he will walk into the temple,
declare himself as God fulfilling the threat and what caused
the rebellion way back when he will be slained, more
than likely shot in the head, and Satan will fill
that body, take it over, resurrect it, and he will
(14:07):
literally become God with the small g And then we're
off to the races for the horrible second half of
the tribulation. He sure goes on verse sixteen. Then let
those who are in judeea flee to the mountains for refuge.
Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to
get things that are in the house. There will not
(14:28):
be enough time. Whoever's in the field must not turn
back to get his coat. And what to those who
are pregnant and those who are nursing babies in those days,
pray that your flight from persecution and suffering will not
be in winter or on a sabbath from for at
that time there will be a great tribulation, pressure, distress,
(14:49):
opposition such as has not occurred since the beginning of
the world until now, nor will ever again. And if
those days of true rebulation had not been cut short,
no human life would be saved for the sake of
the elect God's chosen ones, those days will be shortened.
(15:11):
If he didn't shorten the time, if he let them
have their way with the earth, not a Jew would
be left alive, not a child of Israel would be
left alive to receive him as Messiah. But that is
not the plan. He has a plan. It will be kept,
It will be fulfilled. Now in Matthew twenty four first
(15:36):
twenty one, during this tribulation, during the second coming of
the Lord, the abomination that the Antichrist creates by setting
himself up in the temple and then setting his image
in the temple, kind of like Antiochus Epiphanes did in
the days of the Maccabees, where we put a statue
(15:57):
of himself to be worshiped in there. Now we see
from revelation that the Satan is the dragon. He's the
head of an unholy trinity, comprised first of the beasts,
which is the Antichrist, who has a healed wound. The
second beast, these are those that have come up out
of the pit, is the false prophet. Many believe that
(16:18):
that will be a major religious leader and will deceive
them into worshiping the Antichrist through false signs. This is
not an active threat. It has not happened yet. It
doesn't happen till the last half of the tribulation, but
(16:39):
the beginning of Matthew twenty four, Mark thirteen, and Luke
twenty one. The signs of the times are active threats,
and they've been an ongoing threat from the days of
Genesis to now. We see in Genesis four Adam. This
(17:01):
is verse one. Adam knew his wife Eve, which means
he mated with her, and she bore a son named Cain,
and said, I have acquired a man from the Lord,
and she bore again, this time his brother Abel. And
Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a
tiller of the ground. The first thing born is of
(17:23):
the flesh, the second is born of the spiritual. And
in the process of time it came to pass that
Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground
to the Lord. Abel also brought of the first born
of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord
(17:43):
respected Abel and his offering, but he did not respect
Cain and his offering. Why not it cost Cain nothing?
It cost Abel a little more to give what he gave,
And Cain was very angry and his countenance fell, which
means he was wearing his displeasure on his face. So
(18:03):
the Lloyd said to Cain, why are you angry? Why
has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you
not be accepted? And if you do not do well,
Sin lies at the door, and its desire is for you,
but you should rule over it. Well. Cain didn't do that.
Cain talked with Abel his brethren. It came to pass
(18:25):
when they were in the field that Cain rose up
against Abel. His brethren killed him. But the King James
translation of Genesis four, verse seven says, if thou dost well,
shalt thou not be accepted. And if thou dost not well,
(18:47):
Sin lieth at the door, and unto thee shall be
his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. That is
over Satan. His personal desire is for you, and you
shall rule over him. Much more clearly indicating what is
(19:08):
lying at the door, and it's indicative of a struggle
between two parties, of a resistance against one of those parties,
which takes us back to what Genesis three point fifteen,
in speaking to the serpent, I will put enmity, open
(19:28):
hostility between you and the woman. Of course, he's speaking
to Satan, who sent the serpent, and between your seed
or offspring and her seed capitalists. He shall fatally bruise
your head, and you shall only bruise his heel, indicating
of the crucifixion. Satan's head, his authority, his power, will
(19:50):
be crushed. Now many consider Genesis three point fifteen proto evangelism,
the first announcement of the Gospel, a foreshadow of man's
ultimate triumph over sin through a coming Savior. It's the
first prophecy about the coming Messiah that through his death
(20:10):
on the cross and the resurrection, Satan would ultimately be
defeated the power behind the serpent. That power would be
delivered a death blow. This didn't sit well with Satan.
Nothing ever does doesn't like to lose. We see in
Revelation twelve seventeen. So the dragon was enraged with the woman,
(20:37):
and he went off to make war on the rest
of her children. The woman is Israel, by the way,
and those who keep and obey the commandments of God
and have the testimony of Yeshua, holding firmly to it
and bearing witness to him well that would mean the
Messianic believers of that day, the ones, the one hundred
(20:58):
and forty four thousand, and the ones are leading to Messiah.
So from the moment we were born, there was a
war on for your life, for your soul, for your spirit.
We were targets. From the moment we became born again,
(21:19):
we became adversarial targets for the enemy, Meaning they understood
that a war had been declared that never went away.
It's still hanging over our heads literally and spiritually, which
(21:39):
is why in the first part of the Lord's Prayer
Matthew six, starting verse nine, he says, in this manner, therefore,
pray our Father, our Abbah in heaven, hallo'd be your name,
your kingdom. Come. Your will be done on earth as
it is in heaven. Give us to stay our daily bread,
(21:59):
forgiving our death, as we forgive our debtors. And do
not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from who
from the evil one, For yours is the kingdom and
the power and the glory forever. I'm in what a
declaration of war in that statement. At least that's how
the powers of darkness hear it. That's how Hasatan hears it.
(22:23):
Of course we're speaking to our father, but he hears
us when we pray that prayer, he hears us speaking
a declaration of admiration, promotion, and loyalty to the Kingdom
of God, which what makes us adversarial, targets to the
kingdom of darkness. That line, that demarcation, that separation is
(22:48):
always there. There's no neutral zone, there's no down time,
there's no peace, there's no truth. It's always active. And
we cannot let our guard down. Look at what Proverbs
(23:09):
twenty two, verses three through six say, And it all
ties together in one thought. A prudent man foresees evil
and hides himself. But the simple pass on and are punished,
meaning they walk right into it. By humility and the
fear of the Lord, our riches, honor and life. Thorns
(23:30):
and snares are in the way of the perverse. He
who guards his soul will be far from them. And
train a child, Train up a child in the way
that he should go, and when he's old, he shall
not depart from it. Well, how does that all tie together?
Seems like four distinctly different thoughts. No, they're not. You
(23:52):
see evil, you hide yourself from it, you don't walk
right into it. And in the process of living that
kind of life, you have humility, fear, and reverence of
the Lord. When you do that, you'll have riches and
honor and life. But the ways of the perverse, the
sinful of this world, are thorns and snares to those
(24:14):
of us that want to live that life. And when
you guard your soul, you stay far away from it.
And we should raise up our children in a way
that they should go, the way we're talking about right here,
and they'll not depart from it. Well, training up a
child of God, a new child of God, and the
(24:35):
way that they should go, they won't depart from it. Train, teach, learn,
That's the key to everything we're talking about. Proverbs nine ten.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Why
(24:58):
is there such a lack of wisdom in the world.
They don't fear the Lord and they have no knowledge
of the Holy One, Therefore they have no understanding. Unfortunately,
that also applies to the Church. The fear ar rah
in the Hebrew means to be reverent. It's to have fear,
(25:19):
to be reverent in your dealings. We see from the
Bible that Israel lost their fear and their reverence for God,
and it caused their downfall, And the Church is in
danger of doing the very same thing. Israel never learned
their lesson, even though they had the written records of
(25:42):
their mistake. They were tremendous historians and record keepers, they
never learned. See. Lessons are learned two ways. Primarily, they're
learned experientially, but they can also be learned by reading.
But you can't just read about something. You have to
experience it to fully get it. For us, the process
(26:07):
is learned with the help of the Lord. That's what
the design always was for the Kingdom of God. We
see in Matthew twenty eight in verse twenty shere comes
to them, saying, all authority has been given to me
in heaven and on earth. Go therefore, and as I
(26:30):
say to you every time I read that this is
an implied dispensation of authority, go therefore make disciples of
all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you,
(26:51):
and lo, I am always. I'm with you always, even
to the end of the age, which takes us back
to Matthew twenty four. But the point being He's given
us this authority to go out and set the captives free,
to make disciples of the nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and the Son the Holy Spirit,
(27:12):
teaching them the Word, teaching them how to observe what
the Lord commanded. To go into all the world Mark
sixteen fifteen, and preach the Gospel to every creature. Hugh
believes and is what baptized will be saved. He who
does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will
(27:34):
follow those who believe in My name. They will cast
our demons. They will speak with new tongue. They would
take up serpents. If they drink anything deadly, you by
no means hurt them. That is referring to going out
preaching the Gospel in all the world. They'll lay hands
on the sick, and they will recover. It's all one thought.
It all ties together, and the Lord, while speaking to them,
(27:56):
is received up into heaven, sat down at the right
hand of God, the position of authority, And they did
what they went out, they preached everywhere, couldn't shut them up,
and the Lord working with them, confirming the word through
the accompanying signs. This was the beginning of a military campaign.
(28:18):
This was the release of the Church to do what
needed to be done. The resurrection created a dynamic paradigm
shift in power. The enemy knew that it resonated throughout
all the universe. So the Lord is sending his disciples
(28:39):
and the ensuing Church into a war zone, into a
worldwide battlefield filled with a very powerful enemy that never
had a true adversary before. They have one now, and
he empowered them with his delegated authority. He gave them
the gifts and the fruit of the spirit to help them.
(29:03):
That's why we've spent all these weeks talking about them,
and to ensure their success. He went with them, but
it didn't end there. He told them, raise up others,
teach them, train them, go with them as well. That
word disciple, go make disciples. One who accepts and assists
(29:27):
in spreading the doctrines of another replicate, and so on
and so on and so on. This should never have ended.
To be honest with you, my personal opinion is if
the Church had stayed the course and the Council of
Nicea hadn't cut off the power of the church and
made them sit in buildings and killed the flow. Had
(29:50):
that continued, this would have been over pretty quick. Satan
is brilliant in his strategies. He knew he didn't have
the power to stop us, so he found other ways
to get the Church to stop themselves. So we are
to raise up others like us and to go with
them as well, to teach them, to walk with them,
(30:13):
to encourage them. Warfare is what it is taught, both
intellectually and experientially. But what happens when no one teaches
them by example? What happens when there is no one
left who knows the example? Well, that happened with Israel.
(30:34):
As the ensuing generations came on and those before who
had experienced warfare died away. They lost their fire, they
lost their fervor, they lost their fighting abilities, and no
matter how often they were rescued by God and that
they showed His power, they still wandered away. The Church
(30:58):
has been in that phase. Periodic spiritual warfare springs to life.
We have moments the enemy figures out ways to put
the fire out in the church. Lets it happen. I say,
now there is a remnant, like the guerrilla fighters of
World War two, that will not be stopped, that will
(31:19):
not be silenced, that will not put down their arms
until the war is over. So what it is? We
don't have this pattern? Why does this keep happening to us? Well,
it's human nature, it's the sin nature, and it's demonic influence.
Remember Genesis three fifteen, the enmity, the hatred. It inspires
(31:42):
the enemy to lay in wait and to trap us
into sin and bondage and save slavery. It's getting us
to put the chains back on. Well, what lies in wait?
A predator sneak waiting for you to let your guard down. Sober,
be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like
(32:05):
a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him,
steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are
experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the
God of all grace, who has called us to eternal
glory by Messiah Yeshua, after you have suffered a while,
(32:27):
perfect established and strengthen and settle you to Him, be
the glory and the dominion forever and ever. I'm in
this lion Satan, the kingdom of darkness is seeking something
to devour. It won't take on the leader of the pack,
too much strength up there. So what does it do.
(32:50):
It waits for the back of the pack. It waits
for the elders, the older ones, the sickly ones, the
ones that are less likely to put up a good fight.
But in certain wolf packs, what they do Some of
the stronger ones follow at the back, so that that
is not the case, and no predator can attack from
(33:10):
behind either. The lion is seeking to devour something has
to search for it, has to work for it. Well,
we should make it so easy for him, should we.
We should stay alert against this prowling, demonic enemy. We
should be conscious that there's a threat of being devoured,
(33:31):
torn apart. We should stand strong action with intention. We
should understand that other believers are under attack too. They're
suffering too, and suffering will endure for a period of time.
Anybody who tells you that there is no suffering, that
(33:53):
there is no harm, there are no hurts of serving
the Lord in this world has lied to you. That's
not the history of the church. What is restoration, and
rescue will come. Relief will come because it's His glory
and dominion. Back to the Kingdom of God, back to
(34:15):
the kingdom that we admire, back to the kingdom we
respect and revere. I've read a story about sheep and
Kurdistan and the young ones. They run around and they
act completely unawares, whereas the older ones don't do that.
They just eat the grass with their eyes on the woods.
(34:36):
Their mouth is down, but their eyes are up. Why
because they've experienced the wolves and the predators. The young
ones have not. We see that a lot in baby Christians.
They're so busy running around and jumping around and acting
completely unaware, and the older ones who should be teaching
(34:57):
them are not. But they should understand that they're predators.
There are wolves in those woods. The devil, the fallen angels,
their demonic offspring are the predators. Predators pray on things,
they victimize them, They exploit their weaknesses for their own gain.
(35:18):
Then they feed on it. The old, the young, the weak.
They're not picky. And I will tell you this, they're
not afraid. They're smart. They won't take on a fight
that they know they can't win. They'll just wait for
the next one. Who has their head down, who isn't
paying attention, who's going into the bars, is going into
(35:38):
the concerts, who's putting themselves under the music, and the
authority of the fallen world, is putting themselves in places
of danger an enemy that it's cruel and it's restless,
and it's not alone. It has human help. The Matthew
Henry commentary says, he's a roaring line and he's hungry,
(36:00):
he's fears, he's strong and cruel. He's a greedy pursuer
of souls because that's his business. He's walking about seeking
whom he may devour. That's his whole design is devour
and destroy souls that destroy lives. And to this end,
he is unwearied and restless in his malicious endeavors, for
(36:24):
he always night and day goes about studying and contriving
with whom he may ensnare do his he to their
eternal ruin. They don't sleep, there is no rest, there
is no time in the spirit realm. They can just wait,
though they will wait you out. So don't give them
(36:46):
the opportunity. Be vigilant, don't be overly secure and don't
be careless, be on guard, be suspicious, be understanding of
the constant danger. You don't have to be paranoid about it,
but you do need to be cautious, be watchful, be
(37:07):
diligent to make sure you don't fall for the traps,
and help others to do the same. And resist with
the understanding that you're not alone. Others are suffering with you.
They're experienced persecution and attack. It isn't personal. I'm sorry,
you know I was guilty of that when I was
(37:29):
a baby. Christian always targeting me. He's targets everybody. If
your name's written in a Lamb's Book of life, you
marked with the blood, you're a target. It's not personal.
It's a part of the war, and your brothers and
sisters and the Lord are experiencing that warfare wherever they are.
(37:50):
They are your fellow soldiers in this warfare. And knowing
that the same sufferings are being exerienced by your brotherhood
in the world, that should encourage you to do two things.
To press on, to carry on, and to help others.
You're not alone. Neither are They were part of a team.
(38:12):
We're part of a family. We should be working together.
The other thing I'm going to say is that warfare
the kind of warfare that the Lord has established in
this spirit realm. There are rules of engagement that he
has established, but I will tell you that the enemy
(38:34):
does not honor those rules of engagement. I've shared this
with you, and I've shared it in my teachings on
this topic. But I want to bring it back up again,
way back when when the Lord began to tweak my
understanding of spiritual warfare and the demonic realm. This is
about two thousand and seven, and this tweaking went on
(38:59):
for three years till twenty ten. He would not allow
me to share it publicly until I understood it and
could verify it with the word. Well, this is what
he said to me. He said, you are not of
this world. Your citizenship is elsewhere. Therefore, you have diplomatic
immunity when you stay within the rule and rules of
(39:22):
my kingdom. How the enemy gets you is when either
through behavior, sinful choices, or being enticed by the enemy
to come outside the walls and fight him, he gets
access to you. Stay within the walls of my kingdom
and the warfare will be momentary, and you will have
(39:44):
all that you need to stop it. He went on
to say, you are not fighting for victory. I already
did that on Calvary. You are called to enforce and
maintain that victory against an enemy that refuses submit or
surrender until I come back and restore complete authority in
(40:06):
this world. This will be an ongoing spiritual occupation of
my army against the fallen and their army. We're seeing
this right now in the Middle East. A defeated enemy,
even having made an agreement as refusing to submit, its
(40:27):
refusing to play by the rules. That is the perfect
example of Satan and the other fallen watchers, the fallen
angels and their demonic offspring on the prototypical terrorist army.
We have to stay within the authority he's given us,
(40:48):
but never thinking for a second that the enemy will
play by the rules or stand down. They refuse to
yield unless forced to by someone who wheels the full
authority of the King of Kings and the Lord of lords,
and they'll just move on to some place else or
someone else where that authority is not present. But they
(41:13):
will return, and they'll test the authority again and again
until they catch you off guard. We should be thankful
that the Father has placed restrictions on their powers and
established clear boundaries that they cannot cross. I either cannot
kill you unless we give them permission to buy our
(41:35):
choices and our actions, and stepping completely outside the covering
of the Lord. If the severity of the demonic attack
is extreme in dramatic, instead of basking in it as
some sort of badge of honor, you should be asking
the Lord where's the open door that it's allowing the
enemy to do that? Why Lord are you allowing this
(42:00):
to happen? Because nothing happens unless he allows it, and
he will usually show you from where the enemy found
access to you? Where was the opening in your armor?
Where was the opening and your covering? This enemy is
not powerful enough to countermand the authority of the living God.
(42:22):
He must live by the rules and stay within the
boundaries set from the throne room. Having said that they
will always resist, we should expect resistance. We should expect
attacks from time to time. Either a we've gotten too
close to a treasure that they don't want to lose
(42:45):
and where about the plunder meaning getting someone saved here
and delivered? Or we've breaked too much havoc on their
kingdom and they want to retaliate. That's our team, myself
and the team. We understand that it just goes with
the territory. We don't let our guard down. We get
proactive instead of reactive, and we shouldn't get so caught
(43:08):
up on what the enemy is doing that we take
our eyes off the Kingdom of God and focus too
much on the kingdom of darkness, because that's exactly what
the enemy desires. I live in Florida. In case you
didn't know that I live in Florida. We have lakes.
If there's a body of water, more than likely there
are dangerous snakes and more than likely gaiters in those waters.
(43:32):
It's why you don't walk your dog down by the water.
You'll let your dog go into those waters. So if
I spend all my time staring at the lake or
looking at the shore, or looking for a gator or
a snake and keep my head down, I would miss
the beauty of the blue skies and the flowers and
the birds and all the wonderful things that is all
(43:53):
around me. So I cannot be paranoid. I must be aware,
I must be alert, But I must be conscious of
those other things. Now there's an attitude out there is
that warfare is not my problem. This springs up every
so often. I'm singing it again. Warfare is not my problem.
(44:16):
The Lord does all my fighting for me. Saint Michael
the Archangel fights for me. That is such complete and
utter unscriptural nonsense. I can tell you how many times
I pointed out, and how many times people rejected. Well,
that's what I'm taught in church. I have a medal here.
I have a medal here that protects me. It's Saint
Michael the Archangel. Michael is the Prince of Israel. His
(44:40):
primary responsibility is protecting Israel. You've been given authority to
take a stand. You've been given the power to push
back and do what needs to be done. All of
the scriptures referring to the Lord or to God fighting
for you are from the Old Testament, there before the Cross,
(45:04):
that before the Upper Room, there before the Church became
His agents of change and were given the responsibility of
warfare on the earth. There is not one New Testament
reference to warfare or the enemy that indicates that we
are powerless and to do nothing and to stand back
(45:26):
and let the Lord or the angels do everything delegated
authority go. Therefore, the infeeling of the Holy Spirit and
the victory of the cross, the delegated power and authority
He's given to us says that we have the ability
to overcome. You are of God little children, and have
overcome them, because He was in you is greater than
(45:49):
he who was in the world. First John for four
Romans eight to eleven. If the spirit of Him who
raised you from the dead dwells in you, he who
raised Messiah from the dead, will also give life to
your mortal bodies through what his spirit who dwells in you.
(46:12):
The Holy Spirit is in you, the same holy spirit
which raised a sua from the dead, the same holy
spirit he used to speak everything into existence. Therefore you
have the power of the Creator over the creation. Wield
it properly with respect. Romans A fifteen. You did not
(46:35):
receive the spirit of bondage again to fear. If received
the spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out Abbah, Father,
the spirit of adoption makes you and I sons and
daughters with the prevailing rights and authority that go with that.
So our rights which are given to us are always
(47:01):
being challenged by the Kingdom of darkness. But just because
he's challenging them doesn't mean they go away. Resist him steadfast.
In the faith, we're commanded to not run, not to
sit down, but to resist, to fight rather than flee.
(47:24):
Victory comes when we remain committed to God, because He
is greater than our enemy. Greater is he that is
in me than he that is against me. Is there
any indication here of a threat that no longer remains,
(47:47):
or is it an indicator of a threat that is
still in effect? This section of the Word that I've
been sharing with you was written in sixty three to
sixty four a d. Thirty years after the death and
resurrection of the Lord. Unless some other supernatural event that
(48:08):
I don't know about has taken place to remove the
fallen and their demons from the earth, this warning is
still in effect. The threat assessment is active. Pretty much
what Ephesian six, verses ten through thirteen is stating. Isn't
(48:28):
it finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and
in the power of His might, but on the whole
armor of God, that you may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil. For we do not
wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rules of the darkness of this age, against
(48:51):
spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take
up the whole armor of God, that you may be
able to withstand in the evil day. And having done
all to stand, what's Paul doing. He's calling for us
to be strong, not weak, to be proactive. Put on
(49:17):
the whole armor of God. Do something. Stand against the
schemes of the devil, because we're going to wrestle violent
close quarters combat with supernatural, ethereal demonic entities in the
heavenly or celestial places. Take up the whole homor of God,
(49:39):
an active, ongoing action. Be able to withstand, taking effort
and strength. And when having done all, stand Gosh, there's
so much action going on there. There's nothing that says
to me, there's no warfare. Put on the whole armor
of God of a heavily armed soldier, you know what,
(50:01):
the strength He's drawing, strength from his boundless might. That
way you'll be able to successfully stand against all the
strategies and deceits of the devil. Who are not wrestling.
We're not engaged with. We're not in a close quarters
combat with flesh and blood. We're not contending with physical opponents,
(50:26):
but the despotism, the powers against the Master's spirits, who
are the world rulers of this present age, against the
spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural sphere, which,
by the way, those same ones are there. Therefore, put
on the complete armor that you may be able to
(50:47):
resist and stand your ground in the evil day of danger.
And having done all, is the crisis demands, stand firmly
in place, don't retreat, don't relax. Sounds like warfare to me,
doesn't it. Two Corinthians ten four through six. The weapons
(51:10):
of our warfare there it is again, are not carnal,
they're not fleshly, but they're mighty in God, for pulling
down strongholds, casting down arguments in every high thing that
exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought
into captivity to the obedience of Messiah. And be ready
(51:32):
to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. The
weapons of our warfare, which is what a specific warfare,
which says what it is ongoing over and over and over.
I've just given you three sections of the Bible revealing
(51:56):
the ongoing nature of supernatural warfare against a real and
determined enemy. In the book The Supernatural Battle, I spend
a whole chapter talking about the battlefield of the mind,
which is what Two Corinthians ten four through six is
about the fact that God, our heavenly Father, places such
(52:22):
a value and a worth on us. We shouldn't fear
about the physical or psychological attacks of other people. We
shouldn't fear even about the enemy. We should expect the
enemy to be the enemy. The only one we should
fear is God. We don't want to let him down.
(52:43):
We don't want to disrespect him, because that's what being
disobedience is. It's being disrespectful. And if you love him,
you want to be about his business. One Timothy six twelve.
He tells him fight the good fight of faith, Geeus,
sound like this is He's full and casual that there's
no resistance. Paul's implying that a believer is going to
(53:06):
struggle promoting their faith, keeping their faith. Believing in Messiah
absolutely brings an inner peace and joy of our salvation.
But belief does not come without conflict. Are you in
conflict right now, Are you experiencing what I'm talking about?
(53:29):
I know, I am, I know it never ends. Some
days of worse than others. Doctor D. W. Simon, he's
a professor and theologian from the late eighteen hundreds early
nineteen hundreds, said this, the struggle for faith is a
noble struggle, one of the noblests. Therefore, fight the battle
(53:50):
of faith if you wish to be true to yourselves,
true to your own highest interest, not to mention the
interests of your fellow men. We as Christians, always be
true to God's interests by never giving up the fight.
Be true to God's interest, and never give up the fight.
(54:15):
So what did Satan convinced the church to do? You
said it, give up the fight, put down your weapons,
peace peace. When they say peace and safety, sudden destruction
comes upon them. Don't put down your weapons. Understand the
enemy that you're fighting. They're ruthless, they don't play by
(54:39):
the rules, and their only living thought is to destroy you.
Leonard Ravenhill says, I've quoted this quote before, but it
always speaks to me. No church group that knows spiritual
warfare has wiener roast and passion plays there's real warfare.
(55:00):
I've said before that we are an arrogant, self styled
bunch of believers. We believe to the point of inconvenience
and then quit. All the years that I started in
spiritual warfare, got saved in eighty eight, got the Tallahassee
in nineteen ninety, got into heavy every week, every day,
(55:22):
all the time warfare during that period of time. And
what I found was there were people that would get
caught up in the fervor and then they would quit.
And it was always the same one or two or
three of us that was standing strong and holding the line.
(55:43):
Sometimes it was just me and Shelley standing back to
back taking on everything that came that way. And the
enemy is glad for that to happen, because you can't
sustain that, you get worn down. We're in this together,
We're a team. We cannot sit down, we cannot let
(56:04):
our guard down, we cannot stop praying. He sure have
warned us about the end times. He warned us about
the perpetual struggle against sin and demonic influence from Genesis onward,
and the responsibility of believers to remain steadfast against the threat,
(56:26):
actively engaging in spiritual battle with the help of the
Holy Spirit. Spiritual warfare is a continuous reality. Folks. It's
not going to change until he comes back. It's not
something to be ignored or taken lightly. So take the
(56:47):
walk seriously, do not compromise, take the call to go seriously,
have the commitment to follow through. So in conclusion, I
say to you, be strong in the Lord, draw your
strength from him, be empowered through your union with Him
(57:11):
and in the power of His boundless might. The threat
assessment is real, it is active, it is ongoing. Father Abbah,
Papa Daddy. I ask you right now, through the Holy Spirit,
(57:34):
to shine down upon us your glory to explode from
within us as you increase the voltage, if you will.
The enemy is doing the same for his troops. Well,
he asked, Lord, that you do it for yours. Help
us to keep our sword sharp, to stay in the word,
(57:56):
to stay prayed up. Help us to not get outside
the hedge, get to allow the enemy in to be
tricked into opening the windows and the doors, into thinking that, oh,
it's quiet, that haven't been attacked in a while. The
enemy must not be anywhere nearby. I pray that you
give us eyes to see and ears to hear. Empower
(58:19):
our faith, keep us strong, heal us in body and
mind and soul and spirit. Give us back to do
of our youth if need be, so that we could
run and not grow weary, walking, not faint. We could
rise up with wings as eagles, get above the storm,
get above the clouds, see what the enemy is doing.
(58:43):
Help us to stand fast and the faith and the
power your name with and for our brothers and sisters,
and for your kingdom. And in that vein I pray
right now for those that are beat down, that get
their heads down, that they can't even hold the sword
up anymore. Soround them, brothers, and surround them and give
them a chance to recoup, give them a chance to
(59:06):
regain their strength. And if you're one of those, then
just receive the prayer, receive the strength, receive the glory
of the Lord around you and his angelic host, and
know that you're not alone. Because I know that, I
know that, I know the King is coming, and he's
(59:26):
preparing his remnant for that day and for the struggle
and the fight that is leading up to it. And
I pray all these things, all of these things in
the name above all names in the name of Yashuah
Hamishia Jesus the Messiah. And if you agree and receive,
(59:50):
say amen. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord madtern't I make his face to shine
upon you be gracious to you. May the Lord I
don't know you, shu Ahamashiah lift up his countenance upon
you and give you peace, Give you shalom. I'm Richard Grund.
