Speaker 1 (00:22):
Welcome, Welcome to the Porch on Firefall Talk Radio. I'm
Richard Grund. This is when we get back to basics,
the uncompromised red letter basics of the Word of God.
Will we focus on the Book of Acts Church to
see how they serve the Lord. When we do that,
we find the Church the Lord intended, not the one

(00:42):
Man created. The Porch is a non denominational, full gospel
approach to the Bible based on the examples from the
Book of Acts Church, aiming to restore the priesthood of
the believer and regaining the world's shaking influence of the
early ties. It's because the Church age isn't over. The

(01:03):
Upper Room experience is as much for today as it
was on the day of Pentecost. It's yours if you
want it. Porch offers you the Word as the Apostles
would have to the Jewish and gentile believers of their day,
using both the Isshuah and Jesus. When speaking of the Lord,
we prefer to use the term Messiah rather than Christ,

(01:25):
as it more accurately reflects how he was referred to
by those who knew him. Additionally, we provide definitions in
Hebrew Greek and Aramaic when necessary. Getting back to basics
isn't just our motto, it's a direct mandate from the Lord.

and your prayers. Thank you for being a part of
the porch all these years. Contact us if you need
prayer or would like to pray for others. Remember we
care about you. Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters
around the world that are being slaughtered for their faith.
And pray for the peace of Jerusalem, because that would

(02:31):
mean the return of the Prince of Peace, for without
him there can be no peace. So Father, we thank you.
We thank you for everything we have, our homes, our families,
our pets, our possessions. I thank you for my salvation
for giving me back the family I discarded all those

(02:52):
many years ago. For giving me my wife, sons, daughter
in law's grandchildren, fury kids. Everyone that we've ever had
has been a blessing from you. Thank you for allowing
me to serve you and to do work for you,

(03:13):
if you want to call it work in the Kingdom,
furthering the Gospel and helping my brothers and sisters and
the Lord. Thank you for this time. Thank you for
the ability to come together every week to get this
word out to empower, edify, and encourage one another. I
pray that you would protect us, keep us from the

(03:35):
evil ones, Watch over us our homes, our lands, our families,
our pats, and our possessions, everything we have, Keep them
hidden under the shadow of your wings. Be the shield
about us, the glory and the lifter of our head. Lord,
we love you, We praise you for what you've done
for us. That the Father would look at you and

(03:57):
say you're going to have to go pay the debt
for them, you gladly did it, every drop of blood,
and you set us free so that we could spend
eternity with our a Father. Thank you for sending back
the Holy Spirit through our conquerdesh to walk with us,
teach us, encourage us, and guide us. So, Holy Spirit,

(04:19):
I pray that you would have your way watching over
us tonight, this technology and everything we have, no interruptions.
Let this word go forth. Let eyes be open, ears
here hearts changed. No, Holy Spirit, I would ask that,
in the midst of all of this, that you would

(04:39):
fill each and every one of us to overflowing. Yes.
I know you are already in us, but we need more.
We need more fire, we need more understanding, we need
more love. So let it be so this time tonight,
here we are together on the porch. If you agree
with me, and you shoe his name, say a man.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
These lessons are proprietary information, except where not of the

The date of this broadcast serves as the registered date
of the following information. Okay, get those Bibles open, get ready,

(05:45):
get prepared. We're still talking about the Holy Spirit. And you.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Remember the Lord said in John fifteen five, I am
the vine. You are the branches. He who abides in
me and iron him bears my much fruit, for without
me you can do nothing apart from Me, the Lord says.
Cut off from vital union, connection, free flow with me,

(06:12):
you can do nothing, absolutely nothing. You cannot fulfill any
aspect of the Kingdom of God. And most of all,
you cannot produce fruit. Because being in union with the
Lord means you produce fruit after its own kind, the
kind of fruit that He would have produced. So being

(06:35):
filled with the Spirit means you're being controlled by and
empowered by the Holy Spirit, because the work of the
Spirit is the further The Kingdom of God is a
really good book by Rhinard BANKI died not too long ago.
He used to be based here in christ for the
Nations in Orlando. The book is called Taking Action, Receiving

(07:01):
and Operating in the Gifts and Power of the Holy Spirit.
And I found this section. I want to share it
with you. The Lord said it was better for the
Spirit to come than for He to be with us
in the flesh. The Holy Spirit's commission is to take
the place of he says Christ. I'll say Messiah. Jesus

(07:24):
healed the sick, for example, and the Holy Spirit follows
the pattern of Messiah. How do we know who the
Spirit is? The Holy Spirit is God in action. Whenever
there are supernatural operations, they are by the spirit. All
divine manifestations, such as gifts, are always by the Spirit.

(07:45):
When God moved on the world in the beginning, it
was by his spirit. Genesis one too, the spirit of
God was hovering over the face of the waters. The
Father's will is spoken by the word and performed by
the spirit. He is the executive of the Godhead. He
goes on. John the Baptist, the divinely sent forerunner, introducing Messiah,

(08:09):
proclaimed a new era repent for the Kingdom of Heaven
is at hand the Matthew three two. The central core
of that proclamation was the Messiah baptizing in the spirit,
meaning he baptized him in the spirit to confirm it

(08:31):
as the core of the proclamation that the Kingdom of
Heaven is at hand goes on. It was far greater
than the restoration of Israeli greatness. It was nothing less
than a cosmic change. John unfolded a map of the
future showing a river not of water, but of fire.

(08:52):
In Matthew three eleven, John used an earthly element water.
The Messiah baptizes in a heavenly element, divine Jesus picks
up and echoes the same words. John truly baptized with water,
But you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not
many days from now. In Acts one five, that's what

(09:15):
it was all about. The Kingdom of Heaven was at hand.
Therefore the Holy Spirit had to be released into the earth.
A new era had begun. In a book called The
Flame Shall Not Be Quenched, which was a study of
the place of the Holy Spirit, Baptism and the Methodist Revival,

(09:37):
was written in January nineteen seventy two, the author Ronald W.
Folkes wrote this, and it's very core to understanding this,
and that's why I'm sharing these quotes with you. There
is a cliche one baptism many fillings, but we should
realize this is not scriptural. The Biblical past in provision

(10:01):
is for constant fullness. One is to go on being filled.
The word filled as in a verbal form known as
an ingressive aorist suggesting an entrance into a state of condition.
It is clear that the Christian who is baptized does

(10:21):
not enter into a transitory experience, but into an abiding
condition of fullness. Luker elaborates on the effect when speaking
of Peter. He describes him as one filled with the
Spirit and acts four to eight using the passive participle

(10:42):
of the ar's tense, including indicating a happening in process
that jumped out at me. Being filled with the Holy
Spirit is a happening in process. So the baptism of
the Spirit was not meant to be a single emotional
event recorded in a believer's diary. It wraps around believers permanently.

(11:10):
And I think that's the thing the enemy doesn't want
us to get. He want us to constantly. He wants
us to constantly think, Oh, I need more. I gotta
pray for the Spirit to come. Gotta pray for the
spirit to fall. Come Holy Spirit. No, we're constantly full.
It's constantly flowing. We're constantly moving in the spirit.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Now.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Every now and then he will decide, Hey, you guys
need a little bit more fuel here. I'm gonna give
it to you. But the gas tanks should always be full.
The spirit is our environment. It's the air we breathed
moment to moment. It provides vitality, the vitality of our

(11:55):
faith and our very spiritual existence, so that when we
bombard the world with the gospel. The Holy Spirit is
the explosive ammunition for our artillery. The Holy Spirit animates believers,
their teachings, preaching, prayer, service, the very lives. It's the

(12:20):
dynamic of our faith. Without the life of the Holy Spirit,
a believer is being a believer being if you want
to call it Christianity, if you want to give it
a label, becomes just another lifeless religious system. They can
only be kept going by human effort, which is why

(12:43):
most of the abominations, denominations, I'm sorry, slip of the tongue,
maybe not so much of a slip, that deny the
power in the presence of the Holy Spirit in this
current age are so dead, So few people get saved,
so few people get healed. Without the presence of the

(13:07):
Holy Spirit, the ongoing flow of the power, the signs,
the gifts, the fruit, it is dead. So no matter
what we rely on, whether it's a religious organization, status
or education, doesn't matter. We can't replace the Holy Spirit.

(13:29):
Nothing can compete with the person of the Holy Spirit
in our lives. So happened this morning something unique. I
was acknowledging the Lord like I always do, just talking,
got up, getting dressed to take the dogs out and

(13:49):
do all of that. And I said, I love you Father,
I love you Lord. And I said, you know what,
Holy Spirit, I don't say it much, but I love
you too. Thank you for talking with me. Thank you.
And I felt his response. I felt his thank you,

(14:14):
his acknowledgement of my words. Oh, yes, you can say, well,
the Holy Spirit's just the Father and the Son manifested
in you, but he's presented as an individual with feelings.
And at that moment, I felt his emotional reaction to that.

(14:37):
So if the Lord did what he promised, and he
baptized people us and the Holy Spirit and fire, what
would those kind of people be like? Would be? Would
we be cool and restrained and self contained?

Speaker 2 (14:57):
No?

Speaker 1 (14:59):
I mean, let's get real here. The emblem of God
is a fire, not a rock. We should be alive,
We should be moving, we should be flowing, we should
be going. Ephesian six. I'm already gone, folks, I'm already lost.
I started out calm, prayed, took a sip of water

(15:23):
to my little vocal things to get my throat warmed up.
And here we are. We're not even fifteen minutes in,
and I'm gone. Ephesians three sixteen. May He grant you
out of the riches of His glory to be strengthened
and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your

(15:47):
inner self, which means in dwelling your innermost being and personality.
So the fullness lies in Messiah is shue completely. It
flows out of him to fill us, from the Throne
room to us. He is the source of our life.

(16:11):
He's the source of the Holy Spirit in us. Praying
today with Larry and I was thinking about and when
we were talking about something else, and the Lord said
the word by locality, just out of the blue. Okay,
by locality, what are you talking about Lloyd's I looked
it up. It means being the ability to be in
two places at the same time. Well, he said, I'll

(16:33):
never leave you nor forsake you. But he's in the
Throne room. But because of the Holy Spirit, he's in
two places at once. He's in us and he's there.
He is the source of everything, which is why the
Cross is so powerful. So bessies miracles evidence the power

(16:59):
of God at war in his ministry. Therefore it should
be in hours. Luke highlighted the role of the Holy
Spirit in empowering the ministry of Yeshuah and of course
the ongoing ministry of the Church. In the book of
Acts John four John four to fourteen Luke four fourteen.

(17:20):
Then Yeshua returned in the power of the spirited Galilee,
and news of him went out through all the surrounding
region Luke five seventeen. Now it happened on a certain
day as he capital H was teaching, that they were
pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had
come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem,

(17:41):
and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
And that's where the crippled man came. And they opened
up the roof of the person's house where Yeshua was,
and they brought him down to be healed. So the
power of the Lord was always present with him. Acts
four point thirty three. And with great power, the apostles

(18:01):
gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Yoshia, and
great grace was upon them all Acts six' eight and
Stephen full of faith and power to great wonders and
signs among the people. Acts ten thirty eight. How God
anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power,

(18:25):
who went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed
by the devil, for God was with him. That's the
life right there. That's the goal, being anointed with the
Holy Spirit and power, going about doing good and healing
all who are oppressed of the devil. Setting the captives free.

(18:52):
Paul did something interesting. He presented a paradox of the cross,
which to the world it would have been Issue's greatest
moment of weakness, in which God's power to save was realized.
That's the power to set the captives free. One Corinthians one,

(19:16):
starting verse seventeen. For Messiah did not send me to baptize,
but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words,
lest the Cross of Messiah should be made of no effect.
For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those
who are perishing, but to us who are being saved,

(19:36):
it is the power of God the Cross Romans one sixteen.
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Messiah,
for it is what it is the power of God
to salvation for everyone who believes, for the jew first,

(19:58):
and also for the Greek. So God's power revealed in
Messiah's death, continues in God's choice to work through the powerless.
I e us, we are the power less, and He
fills us to do his work as he would have

(20:20):
done it. We should walk as he walked. Have you
had to stop right now at this point and take
a look at your life? Take a stock of your life?
Are you walking as he walked? I wrestle with that
every day, all day in the decisions I make, the

(20:41):
things I do. Would you sure have done that? Would
he have done it? Like that? One Corinthians one, starting
verse twenty six. So you see your calling, brethren, that
not many whys according to the flesh, Not many mighty,
not many noble are called. But God has chosen the

(21:05):
foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise.
And God has chosen the weak things of the world
to put to shame, the things which are mighty, in
the base things of the world, and the things which
are despised. God has chosen and the things which are
not to bring to nothing, the things that are that

(21:26):
no flesh should glory in his presence. I was with
you in weakness and fear, and in much trembling, in
my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words
of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and
of power. For Corinthian's two verses three and four, Paul's

(21:48):
trying to be Paul, Paul, the person who is the
foundation of the gentile Church, who took it out into
a pagan world that understood the supernatural, but from a
demonic perspective, and shook it and changed it. Did it

(22:09):
not with human wisdom, but the demonstration of the Holy
Spirit in God's power. And it was always with the
challenge of the fact that he was in the flesh.
Tewod Corinthians twelve, starting verse seven, and lest I should

(22:31):
be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations,
A thorn in the flesh was given to me a
messenger of Satan, to buffet me, lest I be exalted
above measure. Concerning this thing, I pleaded with the Lord
three times that it might depart from me, And he

(22:52):
said to me, my grace is sufficient for you. For
my strength. He's made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly
I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power
of Messiah may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure
in infirmities and reproaches and needs and persecutions, in distresses

(23:15):
for Messiah's sake. For when I am weak than I
am strong, this is all about him. It's about his strength.
It's not about you. It's not about me. When Peter
stood up on the day of Pentecost and was filled
with the Holy Spirit that he had just gotten in

(23:38):
the Upper room, doing what he had never done before, preaching, speaking,
confronting the masses, risking it all. In Acts two seventeen,
he quotes the prophet Joel chapter two, verse twenty eight
about God pouring out his spirit Joel to when it says,

(24:01):
and it shall come to pass afterward, that I will
pour out my spirit on all flesh. Your sons and
your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions. Why don't we have
that in the church. Why is that such a rare occurrence?

(24:25):
Look at that phrase, I will pour out, not man,
not you, not the elders. I will pour out. In
the Hebrew, the Hebrew word is shall fock s h
a p h ak. It's a verb. It means to

(24:46):
spill forth, to sprawl out, to gush out, to pour out,
and even the word used in the Greek means the
same thing to pour out, to shed, abroad, to spill.
So this isn't a little sprinkling of the Holy Spirit.
He's pouring it out. It's flowing like a gush from
the Throne Room to us and to anybody who wants

(25:09):
to use it as much as possible. He's pouring out
his spirit right now as I'm speaking, flowing from the
Messiah in the Throne Room, so that we shall be
being filled. The reservoir does not run dry. The flow

(25:30):
does not stop unless we cut it off. But you
in asks oney, he says to the disciples and therefore
his church, you shall receive power dunamus, when the Holy
Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses

(25:51):
to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and
to the end of the earth. And they've taken care
of the Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria part. It's actually still
in process. We're doing the end of the Earth part. Power, ability,
efficiency and might when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

(26:13):
So why did we get this so we could have
a little show on Sunday? People get all excited and
flow out. No, it's to go out, it's to do things.
It's the constant flow, it's the constant go It's the
constant glow of the fire. The Holy Spirit. George Meeton

(26:34):
was a nineteenth century Scottish theologian and Greek scholar. This
is what he said about the Holy Spirit. It's amazing
how these people from the past are so much smarter
than the teachers we have today. It must also be
added that the Holy Spirit, according to the order of

(26:54):
the Trinity, interposes his power only to exist execute the
will of the Son, so as to the unction of
the Lord Jesus by the Spirit. And it was different
according to three grades successively imparted. Now you have to

(27:17):
listen carefully here. It takes a little while to visualize this.
The first impartation was at the incarnation when he's born,
The second coincided with his baptism and the Jordan by
his cousin John. And the third and the highest grade
of impartation was at the ascension, when he sat down

(27:37):
on the throne and received from the Father the gift
of the Spirit to bestow upon his church in abundant measure.
That's what it's all about. He could have stayed, but
he had to go, because if he went it was

(27:57):
better for us. So the greater things we could do,
we could go further, we could do more. It would
last for centuries. Paul sasen, I say, is Paul Paul
speaking Luke writing in Hebrews Chapter two, verses three and four.

(28:21):
How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation,
which at the first began to be spoken by the
Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
Here we go God also bearing witness, both with signs
and wonders, with various miracles in the gifts of the

(28:42):
Holy Spirit, according to his own will. How shall we
escape so great a salvation? We can't. We can't escape it.
It's there. It's ours for the taking, for the using explosive,
demonstrative signs and wonders, normal everyday activities in the life

(29:08):
of his church, well not so normal. That's why when
it happens, people start flowing to wherever it's supposedly happening,
And I'm like, well, wait a second, why is this
happening in your church? Why are you driving hours to
experience this, but yet you're sitting in a dead church
where the plants don't even live. There's no life there.

(29:32):
I'd rather sit at home with my family than be
in a dead church. I'd rather go to a park
somewhere and sit with some people and open some Bibles
and have somebody bring your guitar and pray and watch
the spirit move, then sit in an air conditioned, beautiful
building where the spirit is not because without that vitality,

(29:54):
we have a secularized, humanistic, rationalized, harmless religion. Mystical contemplation
bears no resemblance to the dynamic New Testament. We're not quiet.

(30:14):
If you want to be quiet, be a Buddhist, don't
be a believer. And you're sure. I've sat in places
with the spirit was moving. Oh it's too noisy. It's
too noisy. Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I looked
at this woman who said, this looked like you've been
baptized in pickle juice, and I said, too noisy. You're

(30:36):
really not going to like heaven, are you. Then none,
stop praising and singing and playing instruments. They're noisy in heaven,
and turned around to be filled with the spirit I've
shown to us in the New Testament and in the

(30:57):
lives of millions who get it to have a dynamic,
energizing effect. That power the Greek word dunamus, which means
power ability, whether it's physical or moral, spiritual, residing in
a person or a thing. Its power in action. That's
the real definition, Like performing miracles. It occurs one hundred

(31:21):
and eighteen times in the New Testament. It's sometimes used
of the miracle or the sign itself. Sometimes force would
be more accurate. So it's power, the possession of controlling influence,
often understood as manifesting influence over reality in a supernatural manner.

(31:44):
Did the Lord have power when he raised Lazarus from
the dead, When he fed the five thousand? He defied
the natural order of things. It's the inherent power capable
of repri deucing itself like a dynamo. Remember the Holy Spirit.
The presence of the Holy Spirit in you and me

(32:06):
is self replicating power. It does not run out. It's
an ability. It's the quality of being able to perform,
a quality that permits or facilitates achievement or accomplishment. In
this case for the Kingdom of God. Nothing else. That's

(32:29):
all it's about. It's about the kingdom. It's not about me,
it's not about you. It's not about some abomination, denomination, building, place,
or anything. It's about the kingdom. That's all. It's about.
Two Peter one, starting verse two. May God favor it.

(32:50):
May God's grace and peace, which is perfect well being
and spiritual prosperity, freedom from fears and agitating passions moral
conflicts be multiplied to you in the full personal, precise
and correct knowledge of God and of Yoshua, our Lord,

(33:11):
for his divine power has been bestowed upon us all
things that are requisite and suited to life and godliness,
through the full personal knowledge of Him who called us
by and to his own glory and excellence. By means

(33:35):
of these, he has bestowed on us that you and
me his precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through
them you may escape from the moral decay, the rottenness,
the corruption that is in the world because of covetousness,
lust and greed, and become partakers of the divine nature.

(33:59):
The only way we become partakers of the divine nature
is through the presence of His what Holy Spirit. So
there's nothing in scripture to indicate or suggest that the
spirit comes upon us men and women believers through a

(34:24):
quiet breath, unobstrusive or unnoticed. No, it's very noticeable. The
manifestations of the Spirit are w fire, wind, noise, wonders, signs, powers,
visible effects. And he doesn't give his gifts to the unconverted,

(34:46):
nor does he give his Holy Spirit to the world.
But when we are born again, we are encouraged to
be filled, to constantly be filled, being filled. That's what
Paul was getting through the churches. He was preparing them
for the age to come. He was preparing the church

(35:07):
for the job that was ahead of it Ephesian five,
starting verse fifteen. So be careful how you live. Don't
live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make
the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don't
act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.

(35:30):
Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead,
be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the
Lord in your hearts, and giving thanks for everything to
God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus

(35:50):
the Messiah. At the Wales revival emen, Roberts young man,
all of his college aged friends. They sang psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, songs that the Holy Spirit made up,
that some of which we still sing today. That's what

(36:11):
the Spirit does. So we lived by the Spirit's power.
That's why he sent it down to us. And what's amazing,
the prophets somehow understood this. They prayed for it. They
prayed for the heavens to be ripped Isaiah sixty four

(36:33):
to one, Oh, that you would rend the heavens, that
you would come down, that the mountains might shake at
your presence. Well, Isaiah, it happened. It happened when you
show it came. It happened again when the Father tore
the vew. So as believers New Testament believers, if you will,

(37:00):
we don't ever need to pray it again, because he
tore the heavens to come down, and he kept it
open when he left X one, starting verse eight, you
shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,
and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria,

(37:22):
to the ends of the earth. And when he said this,
as they were looking at him, he was caught up,
and a cloud received and carried him away out of
their sight. And while they were gazing intently into heaven
as he went the whole two men dressed in white
robes suddenly stood beside them. That must have been pretty cool.

(37:44):
They're standing there looking looking up at heaven, and they
suddenly look over, and there's two guys in white looking
with them, who said, men of Galilee, why do you
stand gazing into heaven? This same ya sure, who was
caught away and lifted up from among you into heaven,
will return in just the same way in which you

(38:06):
saw him go. He returned through the open heavens, and
he left it open. Why do we pray for an
open heaven? Why do we have these false teachers and
false prophets. Oh, we're under open heaven. We've been under
open heaven since the day he was born. They were

(38:28):
torn open by him by his hand, never to be
closed again. Not either, not man, not religion, not government,
Not even a needle wielding Satan can close it. Through
that open heaven. The Holy Spirit flows on us continually

(38:49):
from the throne room. It's the latter rain. It's still falling.
People still waiting for the latter rain waiting for the
latter rain came on the day of penn Were you
not paying attention, Louke twenty four, verse forty nine, behold

(39:09):
thisten and the promise of my Father the Holy Spirit
upon you. But tarry in the city of Jerusalem until
you are in due permanently died with marked with power
from on high. And he led them out as far
as Beth, and he lifted up his hands blessed them.
Now came to pass. While he blessed them, he parted
from them and carried up into heaven. And they wept,

(39:31):
and they were so sad. No, they worshiped him and
returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in
the temple praising and blessing God. That's what the Holy
Spirit does. And they'd only got a little sip that
even gotten the day of Pentecost. Drink Matthew twenty eight

(39:55):
thirt verse eighteen. Authority, the Lord says, has been given
to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore remember
what I said, implied impartation of his authority. Go make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the son and of the
Holy Spirit, which I got to do with my grandson

(40:15):
this weekend in our pool, teaching them to observe all
things that I have commanded you, and lo I am
with you always even to the end of the age.
How are you going to do that? Lord, by the
Holy Spirit that's in me? March sixteen, nineteen. So then
after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received

(40:36):
up into Heaven, sat down at the right hand of God,
and they went out and preached everywhere. You couldn't shut
them up. The Lord working with them and confirming the
Word through the accompanying companying signs. They weren't sad, they
weren't depressed. They knew He was with them, and they

(40:58):
were empowered to do what he had asked them to do.
They didn't sit down, they didn't build anything. They didn't
It took a little while for them to get that
old time religion. Then it took Paul to shake him
back up again. So the Kingdom of Darkness hacton all

(41:19):
the fallen, all their demons. They can't stop this. They
can't impose sanctions, or blockade the Kingdom of God, or
deprive the citizens of Heaven of their supplies. No, the
new and living way has been established and it's beyond

(41:40):
enemy control. So how does he do this? How does
he get the church to be so powerless and so
sedentary and stagnant. He gets them to choose to sit down.
He gets them to choose to not move in the
spirit or with the spirit. He puts teachers up there.

(42:00):
They tell you, the Holy Spirit gift stop when the
last guy, you know, when John died, they just stopped coming.
No more deliveries and wrong answer. Thank you for playing.
Pick up your Bible on the way out. You might
want to read it every now and then. Everything's about

(42:20):
the spirit. Everything's about this dynamic feeling that I can
feel flowing through me right now. It's the feeling I
have when Lord sends us somewhere to confront the things
we confront. Whether it's things that were worshiped as gods
or demonic spirits, fallen angels, doesn't matter. The spirit hits

(42:44):
it's on. It's on like Donkey Kong, as they say,
because this power, power, wonder, working power. In another place
in his book, runnered Bonki and again it's called taking action,

(43:05):
receiving and operating in the gifts and power of the
Holy Spirit. You can buy it on Amazon as a
regular book or as for kindle. The entire Christian life
is quote in the spirit by the Spirit. The Son
of God is the anointed one, and this set the pattern.

(43:27):
Just as he went about doing good because he was
anointed with the spirit, so must we all. We are
told to walk as Jesus did everywhere in the spirit.
Pray in the spirit, Love in the spirit, live in
the spirit, be filled with the spirit, singing the spirit,
have the fruit of the spirit. The spirit filled life

(43:49):
is not an experience to be cultivated in special conditions
like an indoor seasonal flowering plant. And the Christians aren't flowers.
His aren't flowers, he remarks. During the early expansion of
the industrial cities of England, some clergymen could not be

(44:10):
persuaded to take a parish among the hordes of unwashed
workers because they said it might spoil their spirituality. The
Holy Spirit makes believe his tough specimens for all conditions.
They carry perpetual springtime and their soul and are winter

(44:31):
rized for the cold weather. The apostles discovered a new resilience,
a new strength within them, and a power that operated
in their weakness, which sent them out into a brutalized
pagan world to demolish its idle establishment and change history.
That is the true mark of the spirit filled life.

(44:58):
I know that feeling preaching to the homeless, going into
the homeless camps, bringing them into our house and having
ball there. They're dangerous. You shouldn't be doing this. I'll
steal your stuff. You have killers here, we did, didn't matter.
The spirit was there. People get saved, healed, and delivered
a lot of signs and wonders a lot. So why

(45:23):
why is this so important to you, Richard? Well, it's
important to the Lord. He won't let me let go
of it because right now a period of increased persecution
is testing his church around the globe. Every day you
see on social media more churches. And what's really interesting,

(45:45):
as a sidebar, here a lot of the churches that
are being burned in Nigeria. Rhinard BANKI helped get started
when he would do crusades there and people get saves
and the churches would get planned. And so here we
are in twenty twenty five and the enemy's destroying them,

(46:06):
killing the believers, which is just sending them home to
be with the Lord. But this increased persecution has begun,
so we too. We may face severe risks, and we
may have to lay down our lives, but we're proving,

(46:27):
and those believers are proving, that the enduring resilience that
the baptism of the Spirit bestows makes people unconquerable. You
can kill my body, but you can't steal my soul.
You can't stop. But the Lord has ordained the wane.

(46:54):
I pray for them, I feel it in my heart.
But as they do right now, their wives and sons
and daughters, that children eat, their babies burned, set on fire.
The Holy Spirit gives them the ability to stand up

(47:17):
to that, and so so must we. So the gifts
of the Spirit, they're not tricks, they're not techniques. They're
not abilities that we pick up by watching others. I
am so disgusted by and absolutely detest these places that

(47:39):
teach you the gifts. They lay hands on you. What
gift is it you want? Do you want it wrapped
or unwrapped? No, the Spirit pours, he pours out his spirit,
He picks and chooses, he determines. There's no imitation in
his gifts. There's no tricks. Techniques, there's no ability. He

(48:01):
gives it to you. You do as the Spirit says, do,
and he gets the glory. So learning a particular approach
won't guarantee specific outcomes, because if it did, those outcomes
are achieved through human effort. The gifts of the Holy

(48:23):
Spirit are for those in the Kingdom of God. It
belongs there, and miracles are normal for the Kingdom. That's
why Messiah sent his power for the Kingdom of God.

(48:43):
That's why he put it in us. How do we
not see this? I know most of you probably see
because you've been with me long enough to have heard
me rail on this so many times. It's only about
the kingdom. It's not about us. It's not about a brand.
It's not about building any other name than His and

(49:07):
lieuten verse two. The Lord says, starting verse two, the
harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few. Therefore,
pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers
into his harvest. Go your way, behold, I send you
out as lambs among wolves, carry neither money, bag, knapsack,

(49:28):
nor sandals, and greet no one along the road. But
whatever house you enter, first, say peace to this house
and If a son of peace is there, your peace
will rest on it. If not, it will return to you,
and remain in the same house, eating and drinking such

(49:50):
things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of
his wagers. Do not go from house to house, whatever
city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things
as are set before you, and heal the sick there,
and say to them, the Kingdom of God has come
near to you. The Kingdom of God has come near

(50:15):
to you. And so what happens later on the seventy
return verse seventeen with joy saying, Lord, I don't know
even the demons are subject to us in your name,
in your authority. And he said, I saw Satan fall
like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you authority to

(50:38):
trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power
of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless,
do not rejoice in this that the spirits are subject
to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written
in heaven. He saw Satan because he was there when

(50:59):
he got asked out fall like a lightning flash from heaven.
But he gave to his church authority and power to
trample on serpents and scorpions with the physical, mental, spiritual,
over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall
by any means harm us, meaning can't stop you. I've
given you this power. I've given this authority in my name.

(51:22):
And until that time, Remember, the Holy Spirit hasn't been
dropped yet spread poured out. Until that time, miracles were rare.
They had specific historical visitations written down. No, not, now,
that's what made everything so different when he ripped the

(51:44):
heavens and came down. That's all. It's about his will,
his way, his glory. All things I've given you have
been given into your my power by my father. This
is Luke ten, verse twenty two. All things have been
given over into my power by my father. And no
one knows who the son is except the father. Excuse me,

(52:07):
No one knows who the son is except the father,
or who the father is except the son and any
one to whom the son choose to reveal and make
him known. He was praying to the father at that point,
But now he turns to his disciples and says, blessed
happy of those whose eyes see what you see. For
I tell you that many prophets and kings longed to

(52:29):
see what you see, and they did not see it.
To hear what you hear, and they did not hear it.
Everything shifted at the coming of the Lord. Up till
that point, Israel's blessings were bound to the nation of
Israel under the old cofinant. Suddenly Messiah Yeshia linked to
miracles and wonders to an entirely new commonwealth on the

(52:49):
earth called the Kingdom of God. But here we are
twenty twenty five, and miracles are rear again, so rare
that we don't hear about them anymore, And when we do,
we clamor to it, or we hunger for the stories,

(53:10):
or go to the place where we hear about them.
I'm so thankful that I've experienced what I've experienced in
the simplicity of the way He let us experience it.
Signs and wonders they follow the word Psalm eight, verse three.
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers,

(53:33):
the moon and the stars, which you have ordained fingers.
We ever heard that before fingers, if I drive out
demons by the finger of God, and the Kingdom of
God has already come, upond you in Luke eleven, when
the Pharisees say, cast out demons by beals above the
rulers of demons. And you sure have said, every kingdom

(53:54):
divided against itself has brought to desolation, and a house
divided against the house house falls. So if Satan is
divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because I
cast out demons by be Alzebub, that's what you say.
You say, I cast out demons by be Alzebab. But
if I do that, if I cast out demons by

(54:15):
his power, whom do your sons cast them out by?
But if I cast out demons with the finger of God,
surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. When
a strong man in fully armed, guards his own palace,
his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than
he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from

(54:39):
him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides
his spoils. The spoils are the souls of the people
that Satan has stolen. And that finger of God refers
back to Exodus eight, when Moses and Aaron were battling
with magicians in Pharaoh's court. Third Plague, the lice. They

(55:02):
tried to do the same thing, but they couldn't and
they failed. And there were lies on man and beast,
and they were everywhere. And the magician said to Pharaoh,
this is the finger of God, this is the authority
of God, this is the power of God. And just
like anybody else, Pharaoh's heart grew hard, didn't heed him.
The finger of God is on the earth right now

(55:25):
in his church, the authority through the Holy Spirit. You
pray for it, didn't you know that you prayed for it? Now,
Father in heaven, how it would be your name, Your kingdom, Come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us as stay our daily bread, and forgive us
our deaths, as we forgive our debtors. Do not lead

(55:46):
us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one,
for yours is the kingdom and the power. Yeah, glory
forever Matthew six, verses nine through thirteen. Your Kingdom Come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So, gee,
what's his kingdom like in heaven? Is there power there? Yeah?

(56:09):
He uh huh? Is there authority there? Yep? Yep, it's there,
is there? Peace? Is there love your kingdom. Come. We
prayed for it. Right, it's here. It came on the
day of Pentecost. He set us free, the consummation of

(56:34):
his kingly reign, the fulfillment of God's will on earth,
as it is in heaven in Yashua, with the authority
left behind for his church. It's in us. So what
are we gonna do about it? We're gonna do something
with it. Are we gonna Are we gonna set the

(56:57):
captives free? Are we going to tell them, hey, come
out of the darkness, come over here where there's light.
Are we going to pray with people? Or are we
going to sit on our spiritual cushions hoping somebody else
does our job for us? Well, it's fine, I'll go.

(57:20):
I'll go. If you don't want to go, then pray
for him to give me the money to go, to
give the provisions to put us on the road full
time and not have to worry about the cares of
this world. To set the captives free, to cast out
the demons, to tear down strongholds, to put the enemy
in its place, and remind them of the pecking order

(57:42):
of things. There's no power greater than that of the
Holy Spirit. It's Kingdom power, and the power of the
Kingdom is the Holy Spirit and was given to the
Church on the day of Pentecost. It was given to us.

(58:06):
And for a while, for a couple of hundred years anyway,
the church rattled, cages, shook things, and then the enemy figured, well,
I can't I can't win a power on power confrontation.
So what I need them to do is I need
them to sit down to stop this. Best way to

(58:27):
do that Let's take control. Let's shut down all these
home churches. Let's put them in these giant pagan basilicas.
Let's put them under the government control and be how
were we going to do that? We give them these tax advantages.
They don't have to pay taxes anymore, and they don't
have to worry about us kicking in their doors. We're okay,
you're okay, we'll all get along. But if we're going

(58:49):
to get along, you get to stop all this demon stuff.
And then we're going to raise up some preachers and
teachers that aren't going to talk about the fallen angels,
aren't going to talk about Jennis six, aren't going to
talk about all that stuff, And we're all going to
go to sleep. I've been quiet songs, and they did,

(59:10):
and the dark ages came. And every now and then
fire flares up, the Holy Spirit. Fire flares up, and
there's a remnant going, yeah, let's go do this. And
then they get beat down. But I can tell you why,
brothers and sisters, we're not getting beat down again. This
fire is not going out, and the enemy knows that

(59:32):
it's spreading. We need to pray for it to spread.
And Luke twelve thirty two, the Lord said, don't be anxious,
don't be afraid, for it is your father's good pleasure
to give you the kingdom. He's given us the kingdom.
He's given us the kingdom power which rested on Messiah

(59:57):
Yeshia through the working of signs and wonders, and by
that same spirit given to us within the Kingdom of
God for kingdom purposes and for nothing else. And so
by the Holy Spirit he empowers various ministries which he
has established for the Kingdom one Corinthians twelve, verse four.

(01:00:19):
There are diversities of gifts, but the same spirit. There
are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there
are diversities of activities, but it is the same God
who works all in all, but the manifestation of the
spirit is given to each one for the prophet of all. Father, Abbah,

(01:00:45):
Papa Daddy, we love you. We are amazed by you.
You are truly amazing that you did this for your creation,
that you redeemed us, that you fixed Atom's mistakes, that

(01:01:07):
you undid everything the enemy had done except for the
bodies we have. But you've given us back all spiritual
authority in heaven and earth. You just gave it back
to us for your kingdom, for your will to glorify you.
So I pray right now, Lord, I pray for this

(01:01:29):
remnent for the people that you have risen up for
this time. I pray for them to receive the gifts
that you have for them. I pray for them to
know the calling that you have for them. I pray
for them to have a hunger for you, for righteousness,
for holiness, to allow the Holy Spirit into their lives,

(01:01:53):
to walk with them, to teach them, to help them
to understand. I pray that you would remove from them
all hindrances and everything the enemy in this world has
done to them that has caused them not to believe
in their ability to use your gifts for your glory.
I pray for all the wounds that have been given

(01:02:14):
to them from within the Church itself to be healed,
and for those wounds to become part of their testimony,
and to reach out to others who have been wounded,
others who desire what we desire and have been called
for a time such as this. I pray that the
free flow of the power of the rural kak Kadesh

(01:02:34):
from the throne room right now would increase, that you
would expand the bandwidth, that you would expand the flow
into us, so that we can use it to set
the captives free, to heal the sick, the blind, the death,
the lame, to raise the dead, and let the world
know the signs of the Messiah are here again because

(01:02:57):
the King is coming. The King is come. Fill our
lamps with oil. Lord, let us shine, let us go,
Let us do everything that you need us to do
in this hour. And I pray all these things, and
you shoe his name. Amen. May the Lord bless you

(01:03:22):
and keep you. May the Lord make his face to
shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord,
I don't know you shure Ahamasiah, Jesus the Messiah, lift
up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Give
you shallom. I'm Richard Grund. This has been the porch
