His team just got their first win of the year
here at Cole Harbor Place, a win over the March
and Milkow Hunters walk on. First of all, congratulations on
the win. How's it feel?
Speaker 1 (00:20):
It feels good? You know, let's get our first one
on our belt and just keep building off that.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
You guys get off to a great start, taking the
one nothing lead just sixteen seconds in, and you kind
of didn't take your foot off the gas all game long.
What was the message to you guys from your coaching
staff prior to this one?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Just get a good start and continue off that, you
know through the playoffs. Start the game, got that done
and just kept going.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
And when you're on the bench during the game, what
kind of conversations are you having with your teammates? What
are you guys saying to one another throughout the game?
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Staying positive, keep going shift after shift, keep going.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
At the end of the game, I saw your goaltender
Ryder Patterson with a big fist pump and you guys
mob him and celebrate. Maybe just a word about your
goalies performance today.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
They've been playing good, They've been He's been good, chopping fox.
It's all we can ask out of him. What does
it mean to you to play for the Soushal Mustangs
team awesome? Grew up watching them the culture, so I've
been my dream growing up.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Tell me a little bit about your minor hockey, where
you're from and where'd you play before the Mustangs.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
I just grew up playing social minor hockey. Played Hurricanes
year before Buccaneers, played last year for Mustangs and kept
it going this year.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
What's your game? Big meal?
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Go to? Usually just spaghetti, Usually stick with the pastas.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Any proteins on there, beef, chicken, anything beef usually? What
about snack food?
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Frist Crispies? What's about it?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Chrispies like out of the box, like raised Frisbee squares squares? Yeah,
the ones that you buy at the store or do
you make it yourself? What's your favorite thing to do
during Halloween?
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Eat some candy, a little cheap meal in. I got
my buddies.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
I remember way back when I was still trick or treating.
I got to that age we were like should I
still go? Should I not? Go. Do you still go
out with some buddies?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Uh? I think this year. I haven't gone past couple
of years, but definitely get some candy for my brothers.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I was going to say, hopefully there's some some siblings
and maybe even some leftovers, right, Yeah. Always last thing
for you, Lachlan, who have been some really influential and
important people. Do you through your hockey life?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
I think my parents have always been supporting me. Just
my family in general always support me and keep me going.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
