Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, hey, don't listen to play Flurry Sports will save
your day? Can joke Swiss Sports inside Zack and Shake
they get it right? Fuck you?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hello and welcome back to the Flurry Sports Podcast Christmas edition.
Everyone's feeling very festive, aren't they. Jake Jake's all Christmas
s dout so I obviously so, absolutely absolutely so. We
got a Christmas themed show. Maybe sounds like there Jake
has a game that is Christmas themed. Otherwise, for me,

(00:48):
I'll just be throwing in a little Christmas remarks, little
holiday remarks, if you will. Happy Honukkah for those who
celebrate that, mostly just the Jewish people. But before we
get into that, last week's AI song went over so
well and we ended up posting one of the songs
on the Floury Sports YouTube channel, none of which we
played on the show. I perfected a little bit more.

(01:10):
But this one, this one this week is one of
the biggest headlines of the week. We'll get into our headlines.
But game of the week, worst ending of the week.
Whatever happened in Detroit stunk.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Right, Yeah, it was the worst. It was bad.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Like, no one left that game happy except for the refs.
Maybe like they need to go fuck themselves. But we
have a song straight from Detroit, straight from Motown. I
would say that really encapsulates everything. And the song is
called I Believe Yes Stole the Roar, which is a

(01:48):
great name for a song. So here we go. Let
me know if you can't hear it when I start
playing it, because that would be embarrassing. Perfect you can
got lyrics strother Fucker's up now.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Yeah, Detroit trees.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
They were riding on the field here hometown wovers, Fates
got the wheel, wheels off corner, heart beats down and
no chill here stillers in the corner. Lions going for
the kl hot kicking down, guff passing.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
The scal pitched it back for the score. The crowd
we had.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
That's hands up, touchdowns the crab the wait.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Butts Dad, however, he says rule thirty two sub section.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
B Rick mumbled something like legally pick.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
They dancing the.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Necks like the thief pullet ober Heart's left droning in Greek.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
They said we.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Scorn, They said, we wore.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
What the game's the middle that can't be undone.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
They still the road left the jungle stuned pions caught hard.
But the rests had the gun terrible towns waving its
fucking the stage.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Lions fan's crying, this ain't the players, Broms go swisp ridden.
It's all the sad NFL politics. That's the man.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
They called it cleans when dirty in the same breath, slice.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Door, Home, Home, surgical death. Don't buy the take then.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
They playing rep and so Tom I can't for.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
The sale of benches, a sale of light, the City's
fight stolen.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
In the night night, A tale of bitches, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Tale of Mike, Yeah, daddy fight. They telling him and
they said, we want you want play the games and brittle.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
They can't be un done. They sell the who let
the jungles done by. It's what hard. But the reps
had the god.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, come on now, that's great.
Jerome's alive. It was my only thought the whole time,

(03:53):
Jerome Jerome. Bet it's just for folks googleing like I
did still with us.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Oh yeah, for sure, for sure. When when the some
of the lyrics like I put in that one, they
just game to me and really awesome because I had
no idea what they were referencing, Like, is there like
a Detroit legend.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Jerome was upset. Yeah, I don't know, can't be Jerome Bettis.
By the way, how old do you think Jerome Bettis?
Is this shockmate?

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Probably younger than we think, right, I might be wrong.
I'm gonna go with forty eight.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Okay, I think you hedged it a little bit, but
I agree fifty three, which was still I'm like he
should be playing.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Honestly, he could. Why not? Get they had john Us
Smith looking about fifty three take an end around, so
he might as well just throw Jerome Bettis in there.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Do you think they're talking about Jerome Felton full back
in two thousand and eight or Jerome Harrison running back?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Probably Felton, right, I would assume. So he's probably upset.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Is Jerome Harrison? Okay, still alive. He was in part
of a trade that got canceled because of a tumor.
So I was like, is that what the storyline is referencing?
Is that be crazy? That's a deep Yeah, hold on
now I'm going back. This is Jerome Harrison. And in
twenty eleven, Yeah, a trade between the Eagles and Lions

(05:31):
was waved off because in the medical examination team doctors
discovered a brain tumor that nullified the trade.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
That's wild. Actually are still alive, You're still alive, still
with us? I mean, thank god he got traded or
almost traded. I guess his ghost is not upset.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah. I have a theory every every time something around
this era comes up, it makes me google a certain
scandal because I'm like, what year is this? Yeah? That's
what Okay, okay, maybe not the thing I was thinking of.
I was like, when did the when did the Albert
Haynesworth thing happen? Is this one of the things we
couldn't talk about because we were too busy talking about

(06:13):
Albert Haynesworth. But his legal charges were twenty eleven. The
fat chaming came uch earlier.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yes, it did. That's true. They're not wrong there, Okay. Interesting.
I mean, I like the idea of dead or Jerome's
ghost means something different to everybody. You know.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I think it's great if you now put in the chat.
But I'm not it baddest. But yeah, uh, I guess
before the game we're here, let's talk about it a
little bit. I what happened. I like, watched it, I
watched it back. Tell me like this is the layman's details.
What did they exactly fuck out? Because, like I watched it,

(06:56):
back is it and I'm not defending them, I'm legitimately
seeking I know they got something wrong. Like I watched
it and I'm like, if this was high school, we'd
call redo because they've got no idea what just happened?
Like why did the penalty end the game?

Speaker 2 (07:12):
To be fair, the penalty ended the game because they
don't want an offensive player just committing a penalty, so
the game extends.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Okay, okay makes sense. Okay, so that makes sense.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Just everything was so it felt so bad to the
point that I mean, yes, you couldn't. You should have
just said offensive penalty games over. You didn't have to
say it was a touchdown. And by the way, it
wasn't a touchdown, so I thought, right, because this forward
progress was for sure stopped. You can't even argue it
was not. They're saying it was not. Then he pitched

(07:45):
it to Jared Goff and then he scored a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Like three yards, and I think some of the Pittsburgh
guys were like there were literally whistles blowing.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, yeah, it was so loud. I don't know about that,
but probably I would assume so, right, And so.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
It's like we thought play was dead and again that's
all stuff that comes out later. But I okay, that
makes sense. It's a little bit like the uh, the
thing that got the ref boycott ended the immaculate interception
Seattle Green Bay, which is if the refs just didn't
do the exact opposite hand signs at the same time.
No one remember how bad a call it was, Like

(08:23):
it was.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Rogers immediately after reference that game too. He's like, last
time I was a part of this game, was that.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yes, like justin, don't put your hands up, make eye
contact first.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Well, it's so stupid. Just do your job. You didn't
have to. The only reason to over explain it and
to call it a touchdown was for the heel promo
because that ref had an awesome promo. It's like the
call on the field was a touchdown. Crowdy Roughs, however,

(08:54):
he did Yeah, he really is tithing was perfect. He
hit it perfectly, Refs. I hate everything they've been doing.
That moment was great. I mean it was a rivaled
Gunther's heel promo after seen his career. I mean, it
was so good. That the crowd played into it perfectly,
that it was so it was incredible.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
It was I didn't realize that it was perfect bringing
out cir Cadence, He didn't you champion? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:23):
And the longer they waited, like you knew something was
about to happen because they like they had to talk
through it through with New York or whatever. There was
a it felt like at least five minutes between the
end of the play until the promo, and then everyone
just stayed on the field because no one believed them.
Which is better too?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Is there an argument one fan base is really gonna
get mad at me, but I want them to be
mad at me.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Have we.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Have we remembered a more cursed division than the NFC
North this year, like a very particular. The Bear are
cursed with success, that's their curse, but everybody else, I
guess it's cursed with the Bears. But like the Packers
are falling apart at the scene. Everyone's got injuries, but

(10:11):
their injuries have been bad and then they're they're blowing
shit like this game was crazy against the Bears, it
got overshadowed by the Lions ending. The Lions have lost
games and ways you should never lose. The Packers have
lost arguably to only bad teams or yeah, and the
Broncos very importantly, but.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
The Panthers bad teams and the Panthers.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
I don't think we could call the Panthers bad. I
don't think that's fair either. They've all lost to lukewarm
teams and the Broncos. But so that's crazy. And then
as much as I hate the Vikings, boy are they
cursed this particular year?

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Yeah? Absolutely, people do forget. I can't remember the specific scenario,
but there was a game that the Lions lost earlier
this year against Chiefs maybe yeah, against somebody where it's
like everyone admitted after the game like that wasn't the loss,
like res blew it and this one, I again, I
think the refs got it right. They just went about
it the wrong way in terms of like it just

(11:17):
wasn't a touchdown. There's no way it was a touchdown and.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Correct, like the Lions are the most like the Lions
in the Vikings are very obviously cursed, but just in
different ways. M H, Like, yeah, the Lions keep getting
the rug pulled out from under them, and then the
the Vikings just JJ McCarthy got hurt again.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
For why. There's no reason, there's justin Jefferson train Rupers.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
It's all bad.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Everything's bad.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Meanwhile, and I know people will be like, give the
Bears credit, they beat the Packers. I am giving them credit.
I'm just saying, if you watch the fourth quarter of
almost any Packers game this year, there's a curse happening.
It might be to play calling, it might be self inflicted,
but you can't watch the fourth quarter of the Bears game,

(12:06):
the Browns game, the Panthers game, and the Cowboys game,
and like, that's been awful. It's been terrible.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
It's been awful. I would argue in every game it's
just Micah Parsons usually ends it himself.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yeah, I mean so fair. So the NFC North is.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Just like, I know you're saying their curse with success,
but the curse is because now everyone's confident. Caleb Williams
is wearing a cheese Greater hats out helping with charity
and shit, And who are they scheduled to play in
Round one of the playoffs, the Packers. Does anybody believe

(12:44):
the Bears are gonna win that game?

Speaker 3 (12:46):
No, that's so true. The Packers avoided a trap. They
had to work hard to not win the first two
and then play the Bears again.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
The Packers would love nothing more than to play the Bears.
Do we want to go and play the Eagles? No,
thank you. We want to play the Panthers again. No. No,
that's the last team I want to see.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
That's so true. I don't want to see ricaldald on
the Boys. I that's so fair. You want me to
say something otherly disrespectful to the people of Chicago's this.
I don't know if it's going to go that way
where they get beat by the Packers right away or
and this is why this is so petty, because I'm
about to diminish even the heights of their success. I
think there's a shot they go on a run. With

(13:28):
the way the NFC is, they make the NFC Championship Game.
I think there's a chance their peak is the twenty
nineteen Jacks. Okay, I think I think this could be
a team. We look back at ten years ago. The
Bears were good.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, flash in the pan. Yeah, so season.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
Important, cold water not only on the Bear season this year,
but the next.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
You know, so it's over. It's so true because it's
a situation. Jags didn't fall into this trap necessarily. But
the Bears now if they go to the NFC Championshi,
they're committed to Caleb.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
And like I was a little bit the case in Jacksonville.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Little bit they turn code on Blake Bortles. Let's be honest,
they were never fully The only people fully in on
Blake Bortles was us.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Yeah, this was actually what got the Jags. And this happens.
This is actual sports commentary, sorry, because I know it
would be silly for a second, but sometimes what happens
is this, which is this could I don't think they
would do this to Ben Johnson, but sometimes early success
like this, uh turns a rebuilding project into a high

(14:40):
expectations project. Like if they you know, if they win
a playoff game, especially against the Packers, and then next
year go five hundred, there will be people calling for
Ben Johnson's job.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
And they will Yeah, and that's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
But that's the kind of thing that happens. Is like,
I don't think that's how come Bear fans. It's like
you have to be careful about banging the drama of uh,
we're not overachieving Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Look at Dan Quinn this year in watching happens.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
That's a great example, Like how can you argue that
his two window years, especially with the cards he's been
dealt this year, have not been at least what you
would expect, And meanwhile he's gonna it seems like you.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Canned there's a chance. Well then on top of all
of that, like Pete Carroll with the Raiders, like he's
a double watch one year sample, Yeah, like what do
you expect? Like, I guess you could fire and what
are you gonna do next? Are you gonna unless you
unless it's naming grud in there, I don't know, do
whatever you want to do. I don't care. You're the Raiders.

(15:46):
I like the Raiders are the league's better when the
Raiders are bad. That's my personal opinion. There's a lot
of people who would say the exact opposite. But you
need to have escapegoat, you need to have some bad
teams to laugh at, and the Raiders are really good
team to be bad.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
That's fair. I would also say the Raiders are a
really good team to be coached by a former player,
Like if it's not gonna be Antonio Pierce can we
please Charles Woodson. A year of Charles Woodson would be
which is great.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
However, the new headline. The headline this week was Tom
Brady is going to take a much more hands on approach.
Like okay, I hear you. So is he on the sideline?
Is he the head coach? Does he call Bill? That
would be so interesting, Hey, come home, it'll be very interesting.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Is he the only one that can convince Peyton Manning
to coach?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Why don't we could bind our powers? No, Eli can't
be quarterbacks coach.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
He has to stay away, can't be involved in any way.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
No, he is not allowed in the building.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
That would be so funny, Elia your curse to do
the banning cast alone?

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Honestly, must watch TV. I think he would go holistic.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
I think he would. He would also definitely be joined
by Cooper.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah, for sure, and they would just destroy Payton the
entire time. Too real. It wouldn't be the haha, funny
forehead jokes anymore. It would be like do you remember
this year Christmas? He didn't get anybody anything that was
a weird, right?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Remember the year in twenty thirteen where he just got
really competitive? Oh no, I'm a Denver guy. He didn't
want us mentioning Indianapolis and interviews.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
I heard him that old mom. In three months, he.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Still talks about Steve Vanderjack. That's like Payne Goes and
it's all at Payne's enemies are the guests on the pod.
Fander Jack's number.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
One, including Tom Brady. He calls it.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
That's so good. Yeah, he's gotta be out there. He's
famously there for a performance reviews. So true. But I
mean and and so that's where we're at. That was
a wild way to get there. But I think fair points.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Yeah, absolutely absolutely. So we teased in the beginning, Oh,
unless you want to do do you want to do
finish up headlines or do you want to jump into
the game.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Let's jump into the game. Unless you have a headline
you want to talk about.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Nah, who cares? Week sixteen might as well not even
exist anymore in my personal opinion. Okay, so Jake has
a game here. It looks like it's called name that
guy by movement like this is it? That's perfect?

Speaker 3 (18:34):
You can see everybody?

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Yeah, okay, perfect, Okay, see you up, Zacht.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
I will say it's not exactly Christmas themes, but this
is the tie and all right, welcome to the holiday season.
However you celebrate, We're happy you're celebrating with us. You
may recognize in past years we we did game seasons,
more things. So I was like, what could I bestow
upon Zach this holiday season? A game built for you? Zach?

(19:01):
What do we love? We love naming dudes from random
teams on random years? True, what do you love? Fantasy football? So, Zach,
this is a game I tailored specifically. The goal in
game design was how can I make a game that
allows you to show off? So this, okay, high stakes,

(19:23):
but I think is designed for you to impress. Okay, okay,
So this is name that guy this week again, the
category if we ever played again, could maybe change, but
this week it is fantasy points. So you'll see four
columns here years player, name, position, team. If you do

(19:43):
the team drop down, it's all thirty two teams I've
done the past twenty five years, because we're celebrating the
end of twenty twenty five as we head into the
new year, so you can see them all in there,
alphabetic order by city, and then position are the big
offensive positions on Fantasy and kicker had to get in

(20:04):
in there. So Zach, your mission is simple. You have
twenty five years. You need to name me twenty five guys.
You need to name me for each year a person
who was in the top ten of their position in
Fantasy Points that year in the team they were on.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Okay, to make it a.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Little harder, there are five possible positions. I want you
in twenty five years to give me five of each.
So if I can coach use you think about this.
The strategy will be not just you obviously can't repeat guys.
I think that probably goes without saying. But you know
you've got more fantasy knowledge than the average person. You
can name a lot of folks, but what years do

(20:44):
you really know the kickers? Are you austral So that
might be one strategy. There are some guys you know
are probably going to be in the top tens for
long times, so what years do you put those in?
So the only thing, Zach, is it because I'm giving
you the top ten in it. So you don't have
to even give me the top guy at a position.

(21:05):
They just have to be in the top ten. Because
of all that, Because you get the teams, there are
no strikes you win this game by going twenty five
for twenty five. I will, however, give you two lifelines. Okay.
Lifeline number one confirmation You can ask me one hundred

(21:27):
were Catholic? Baby? You can ask me about any of
your guesses before you lock it in, and you just
tell me what column you want me to confirm. You
could so not year, but it's like you want me
to confirm that a player, a specific player is there
in two thousand and one. I won't confirm the position,
even though you'll probably know that, or the team, so

(21:48):
you'll just have to get the team right. Or if
you really know a dude's probably in there but can't
remember exactly what team he's on, you could ask me
to confirm that, but you give it to me and
I just say yes or no, So that's confirmation.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Lifeline number two, Zach, which is give me a team.
Pretty simple. You give me a year. I give you
a team that is in the top ten that you
have not yet picked. Ooh, because there's one less wrinkles, ac.
Not only can you not repeat guys, I want you
to give me no repeats on teams.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Okay, Okay, that does make that tough.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Sorry, that's the last thing. But there are twenty five,
so you're not gonna there are twenty five, so you
don't have to use all thirty two. I will also say,
some of these teams have obviously moved, but you and
I know the team's good enough. Like Raiders are Raiders,
Rams Chargers all the same, no matter where they played. So, Zach,

(22:50):
that being said, don't forget your two lifelines, which is
you can always just give me a year and I
can give you a team to work with or confirmation.
But Zach, I think for a while you're just gonna
be rolling, So have fun, happy holidays. Start naming dudes.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
I'm trying to figure out where I want to use
my kickers, Like do I just start the five oldest
as kickers or no? But okay, let's mm hmm, because
you would hate to lose right away. I wouldn't hate
to lose. So the lifelins, it's a one time use.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
You're saying one time use for those, Yeah, I will
say the confirmation one's gonna if you don't use the
confirmation one and get one wrong, we're gonna count that
as the confirmation one, and I basically will just use
it as a second chance unless you use it ahead
of time.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
So okay, okay, I'm gonna play along at home, oldest.
We're gonna we're gonna just get a kicker out of
the way, and.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
I'm going using the Fantasy data dot Com database.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Okay, two thousand and one, and I can I mean,
maybe this is this would be really stupid to lose
right away, but I'm gonna go with Jason Elam for
the Broncos.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
He has to be there, That's correct. What a wild
pole right away, you're already pulling. He's the number four
kicker with one hundred and twenty four points in the
year two thousand.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Yeah, the record for forever kicking in Denver. But that's
guy was just making sure you didn't like switch teams
by then.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
I I'm not even gonna say the name because I'm
sure you'll use it later. You were just like kicker
two thousand and one. And when that last name didn't
start with a V, I got real like, this is
riskier than I thought it would be.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
But yeah, he's in the handelt tonight. Vinitary there you
go in Indy. Okay, so you're Denver, you use it
on your kicker I know, I know. Okay, Actually smartest,
smartest thing to do to figure out a good twenty

(25:01):
twenty five. That's upscure.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
I will go with don't forget tight ends, running backs, quarterbacks,
wide receivers, kickers.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Right, and figuring out should I use Trey Benson and
kill the Cardinals here or because I can't use I
could use brock Powers forts. Okay, so we'll do brock
Powers for twenty twenty four.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Can you give me the position there? Sorry?

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Tight end?

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Got it? Twenty twenty four. Let me get to it,
just to confirm. But I think you this is a
good call by you. And what was the team? He said?

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Raiders Vegas Raiders.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Nice shot, the number one tight end from last year's
Brock Powers. So you ace that one. There you go,
So one kicker, one tight end down. You need to
name four more. Yes, but you flushed the Raiders. That's good.
And remember there will be seven teams you don't use
it all right?

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Right?

Speaker 3 (26:01):
I like this, that's a good strategy by you looking
at the teams.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Yeah, I just gotta I just gotta love here.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
What is.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
What's the most obscure packer I can include on this list?
You know, like, is there I wonder if Eddy lazy
Head that on top ten at some point? What year?
I'm sorry top ten? Okay, there's enough other hard things
in here.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
I made it ten. I was like, let's yeah, let's
go big true.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Uh, let's just get We'll do Arizona for this year.
We'll go trade McBride. He's number one, gotcha? That is
twenty twenty five? Yes, and Trey mick bride is sorry,
there's so many filters for me to play with on

(26:53):
my head. Oh my gosh, I number one by a
long shot. I know that.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
This is why I'm not playing the game, Zach. I
have to like google people's positions because you're so so far.
Wasn't anticipating this. So I was like, what physician is
Dray mcbrud? Okay, he is number one by a long shot.
Wait to go, nice job.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Okay, okay, let's do two thousand. Oh why would I
do this? I can't get my mind off of it.
But so it's risky because I think he fell off
a cliff.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Who are you thinking through? You know, no one's gonna
Steele's Harran Foster. Okay, so we I mean he's in
there some of these years for sure.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yes, yes, it's just did he die beforehand? I'm deciding
between twenty eleven or twenty ten.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
It's tough. You're gonna give me a year, and I
could give you a team.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
You're saying, if I get it right, it keeps it
stays alive or no. I guess if you use it,
you use it. But I'm just saying you could.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
I don't want. I just wanted to make a rule, So, like,
what keeps this game going? If you just get one
wrong really early, we.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Will go Atlanta Falcons two thousand and four, We'll go
Michael Vick.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Nice, Michael Vick in two thousand and four is gonna
do it for you. Let me confirm where he was
in that year. But I was looking at this earlier
and he's definitely in there. Michael Vick in two thousand
and four is the number I have to hit the
apply filter button, Zach. It is with a graveheart that

(28:35):
I tell you two thousand and four you have just
used your first lifeline. As Michael Vick is the number.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
How many games did he play? Did he get hurt?

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Mike Vick in that year played only fourteen games.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Fuck.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
So here's what I'm gonna say is our first time
playing this, I'm gonna I'm gonna say, just to make
it easy, we'll add a third lifeline that's just called
second chance. Okay, and you're just using this otherwise we
were getting confusing. So Mike vic cleared cat? Uh?

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Can I use.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (29:18):
He earned the man and cover this year?

Speaker 4 (29:21):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Right?

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Or did I just get killed by Michael Vick twice
in a row?

Speaker 3 (29:28):
You got killed by Mike Vick twice in a row.
You're too early? What I am? He is not in
the top anywhere in two thousand and three.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Huh zach Okay, that didn't happen. That didn't even happen.
That didn't happen. Uh, let's let's get some away.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
We'll go right.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
Well, how about that for that's my obscure packer.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Ryan mong Well, can you give you a position because
that's crazy kicker kicker. In two thousand and two, Brian
Longwell is going to feature in YEP at number seven
on the list. Nice poll by you just casually pulling
like bottom tents. I feel like you had a seven

(30:19):
year stretch for Michael Vick. If you just it's the
easy one that caught you.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
I know, I mean, I could do Eagles Michael Vick,
but I wanted to use falcons Michael Vick. I wanted
to get rid of a falcon. I guess I could
do Julio obviously. Yeah, let's do that's a good year.
Oh we could do Okay, Okay, let's go NFC South

(30:45):
for a bit. You bet, let's let's go. We'll go
Julio twenty fourteen.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Okay, at Lena, Yes, I think you're going to be
in a stretch. Julio is like one of the top
featured names on this so I'm assuming that twenty fourteen
is going to be a big piece of that. But
we will look right now twenty four he died. No,

(31:16):
you're all over number six that year with Julio Jones.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Oh, I'm still lower than I thought. Okay, twenty thirteen,
Cam Newton, I think.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
In my back is my mic working good?

Speaker 2 (31:32):
Make sure through your webcam it sounds like.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Let me fix this first, folks. Thank you for your patience.
All right, now we're back. Okay, twenty thirteen, and you
want to go, Cam Newton, Yeah, I'm too early. Sorry
for the delays. I look these up. I feel like
I'm leaving you in suspense every time. That's a big
one for you that he was the number three quarterback

(31:56):
that year. Okay, Carolina, these teams, well, I think that's.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Yeah, that was I'm probably overthinking like the bad teams
that I'm gonna get at the end and have like
a bunch of obvious teams left.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
I think that's a good strategy of like think of
a team and what's the most obvious dude, also could work.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Yeah, I do like the obscure ones, though you might
have to get obscure eventually, eventually, eventually, let's do Okay,
what happened two years ago? I don't know why I
want to. We're gonna fill back in. So you still
need three tight ends and three kickers. Yes, you haven't
need four of the other two and five running backs yet?

(32:42):
Five running backs? Ooh, okay, let's go. Let's go with
my boy number uh when was he twenty twenty ten?
Will go with Matt Forte Bears.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Ooh great, he definitely won me some fantasy leagues. I
feel like the last time I won a fantasy league,
he was my running back uh twenty ten at number nine,
sneaking in his Matt fotape for the Bears. I wondered
if it was a little early. But you're all over it.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
All right, there you go, let's go two thousand and seven,
Chris Johnson. When you said two thousand and seven, I'm like,
if he says Mike Vic again, like.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
We got.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
No, I'm done, I'm off a bike.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
Vic all right, two thousand and seven, you said, Chris Johnson, Yeah,
he is not in there in two thousand and seven nowhere, listen.
I wonder if he was hurt.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Damn it. Okay, I mean getting him wrong at this
point is just in the back of my mind. Doesn't
even matter. Screw Screw Chris Johnson, his big year two
thousand and eight. Then I guess check that.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Okay, do you want him as your two thousand.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
No, you know what we're forfeiting Titan Titans, screw them.
We'll go with when was Delaney Walker good?

Speaker 3 (34:21):
Hm, it's a tough question.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
I know, I know he was so good for a second. Okay.
So I got a pairent with Marcus Mariota, and I
keep forgetting how old Marcus Mariota is. I think he's
the same age as me. I think we found that
out right.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
He's famously your age.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Yeah, okay, wild He's lived lifetimes longer than me. So
Mariota's with the Titans. It would have been I mean
it would have been later then, Huh.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
How late do you go? That's tough with him.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
We'll go, We'll go two thousand and eight teen, Delaney Walker.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Boy, my gut is that that's a little late. But
let's see if he's in there.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
Because if if Mariota's the same age as me, that
means he would have entered the league twenty sixteen, right
or seventeen.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Mariota came in. In my brain, Mariota comes in like
twenty thirteen, twenty fourteen, Delaney.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Walker's not in there. I just need to see when
Mariota entered the league. There's no way he came in
that early, right if he's how old is Marcus Mariota,
he's your.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Age, that's not the thing we're debating. But there's no
way then.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Because if he's my age, then you wouldn't have come
in at twenty thirteen. I was a freshman in college.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Marcus Mariota came into the league.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Twenty fifteen draft. Okay, okay, okay, still wild he is ageless. Okay,
so new goals act.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
I think you got it. I think you got to
do the list. I think that's the goal. But we
didn't know how hard this game was going to be.
Pretty odd.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
I mean, I'm just overthinking it. So let's go.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
I think to make it fun and to even give this,
because otherwise you could go until.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
You get it.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
I think from this point on, for sure, you say
a name, you can't use that guy's name anymore.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Sure, Okay, yeah, yeah, And I think we do it
that way. Okay, let's go twenty twelve. Adrian Peterson.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
It's gotta be twenty twelve. I think that's his MVP
finalist year should be. Yeah, he's on the I was
on the He's number won that year one hundred percent,
number one by over fifty points. Yeah, I was on
the tight end list for that year. There's a crazy

(37:03):
name in there. That's all I'm gonna say. I don't
mean to tease you. Oh you can't twelve Yeah, Now,
I won't say it because I'm guessing this guy is
also around in twenty eleven, but a name I had
forgotten about, which is the whole point of the game.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
Let's do twenty eleven. Jimmy Graham.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
I just looked at it. He's the number one. It's
a solid answer by you. Okay, cool, Yeah, great use
of Saints. I feel like that's.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
Yeah, they're weird because even some of Drew Brees is
good years. I'm not sure if he's topped ten.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
You've only used one quarterback, and of course it's Cam Newton.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Yeah, he's great.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
You've got two kickers down, two running backs now, one
wide receiver, three tight ends. I think that's a good spot.
I feel like wide receiver is gonna be one of
the easier ones.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
I might be wrong on that, but uh probably they're
a little more scattered, but they should be good. Let's
do a receiver now, then let's do twenty fifteen. Yeah,
we'll do that. Antonio Brown.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
He has been at the top of a lot of
these other years you've been having me look at, so
I'm sure he's going to be at the top of
twenty fifteen. But I will give it a look here
In twenty fifteen, Antonio Brown is still the number one
Fantasy wide receiver. He was there for a very long time.
So that's a great use of Pittsburgh. I can now
say out loud that Keith Miller was really cracking me
up on all these tight end lists. He's pretty good. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Interesting, how many I have three tight ends? Okay, let's
do how old do we go? How old do I go?
Where it makes sense? Let's do a charger. Let's do
Antonio Gates.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Yeah, and you've now blocked off the middle of your board. Yeah,
made a separation.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
Let's do twenty sixteen Antonio Gates.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Okay, I'm gonna say, ill out listen. I don't know,
so I'm gonna take a look. I would have gone
two thousand and nine because that's prime LT.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Like that run in there. That's true.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
Antonio Gates is the number ten tight end. Twenty sixteen great,
by the way, number five that year, Delaney Walker.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Fuck Okay, yeah, I said what twenty seventeen?

Speaker 3 (39:36):
I think you said twenty nineteen. So I think you
just no, no, no, no, or twenty eighteen, but you
was later than twice seventeen.

Speaker 2 (39:48):
Chars. Okay for a ram, you gotta.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
Finish off your tight ends right, spugging me. Now you've
got four no no, no, no, Well they will get
it all down to what am make it? Okay, okay,
that's fun for reason whatsoever?

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Let's do when was he good? When was he good?
Twenty twenty one? Todd Gurley, that's a good pull by you,
I said, Toddy. Okay, Todd Gurley.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
Twenty twenty one running back Todd Gurley is not in really.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Intention in twenty twenty one. That's so interesting.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
Must be an injury or something. I'll google that will.
You're giving me another name, but Todd Gurley is no
longer eligible for you.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Twenty twenty must have been the year I'm thinking of. Okay,
what's another ram uh Cooper Cup? When was that year?
Twenty twenty two? Or one.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
Twenty twenty one top earlies out of the league. He
happened fast twenty so you missed him by a year.
You missed Atlanta Todd early by a year. What a
year that was?

Speaker 2 (41:20):
That was a great, great play.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Man.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
I can't wait for these.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
I feel like you've You've just pulled out two crazy
kickers so far.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Okay, we're gonna do Jason Hansen.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Mister, he was certainly there because he played for the Lions.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Yea.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
The fact you're doing this game against me where you're
just I can name old kickers. It's crazy. So you
said two thousand and three, Jason answered, Okay, that's.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
A good guess or not. I don't want to burn them.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
But it's a tough burn. You know, Jason Hanson is
not in the top ten in two thousand and three.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Man, what a legend. That's a shame. I deserve a recount.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
I will say, there's some meaty kickers at the old School.
You could definitely finish off your kicker list in this range.
But you're going deep dive with Jason Hanson.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
Yeah, okay, I'm just trying to think of kickers. There
is Jay Feely in there somewhere. There's oh, fucking the Goat.
Uh what's his face? The guy from the Bears. I
can't use him though, kicked for the San Francisco then

(42:44):
though too. Um okay, how many quarterbacks have it done?
Just one's just.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
Camnon's FVPU And then you got out of there.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
But yeah, yeah, I mean that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
So let's do.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
Two thousand. Yeah, we'll go back. We'll do twenty and seventeen.
Oh I already did Packers and Day No. Yes, yeah,
Ryan logwell obviously notable packer. Let's pick a year or
pick a team and figure this out. Uh, two thousand

(43:27):
and nine Tony Romo, why not?

Speaker 3 (43:31):
I think that's a really good pull. I don't know
what other cowboy would have done, like reliably, reliably on years.
Tony Robo is the number six quarterback that year, okay,
not for nothing, the number one quarterback that year.

Speaker 2 (43:45):
Awesome.

Speaker 3 (43:46):
Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
Sures sense, Yeah, he really is.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
I love your quarterback roster so far. I'd like you
to keep this kind of quality up with Tony Robo.
Cam Newton feels fun to me.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
Okay, So that's another mid tier quarterback, like a Carson Palmer. Maybe.
Oh talk dirty to me. That's good. That's a good Bengal. Yeah,
I have to do Bengal. Can't do Arizona. So when
was he an Ochho? There? Would that be a two
thousand and seven I need a dirty two thousand and
seven pick. That seems like such a bad year, So

(44:23):
let's do. Let's do Carson Palmer.

Speaker 3 (44:25):
Why not?

Speaker 2 (44:26):
Let's see, I'll dip my toe on.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
He's the number nine quarterback that year.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Love that great one above.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
And I could say this because you burned Matt forte
one above smoking Jay.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Oh okay, I was wondering if you would be top ten.
He's a tough one. Okay, we can do Adam vin Terry.
I suppose for two thousand and three, he's got to
be there.

Speaker 3 (44:53):
I'll look up what number he is. But he's been
on all of these kickerboards for all of these years,
so he's definitely gonna score your points. As you think
of your next one, I'll tell folks where he ended
up that year. Okay, that that year he's number ten, so.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
A little closer, okay, but he's in. That would have
been a bad one to burn. That would have stung. Yeah, okay,
what other gickers are back there? Because a David Acres?
Do I want to use in tangle for David Acres? Good?
That's funny. Sure, David Acres. He's gotta be a four.

(45:30):
He's for David Acres.

Speaker 3 (45:33):
It has to be. That feels like the right time frame.
I wonder if it's a little early, but we'll find
out right now.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Use him for two thousand and five.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
He's on for two thousand and four. I already look on.

Speaker 2 (45:44):
Don't want to, don'tant it. I think I have a
good one for two thousand and four. Okay, if a
brog that I burned him, so hopefully.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
It's so true. Two thousand and five regular season. He
he's not on there. He's not on there. You've burned him.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
Okay, I'm so confident about four with Phil Dawson for
the Browns. Give me Phil.

Speaker 3 (46:06):
Dawson, Phil Dawson.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
For kicker. Yeah, absolutely, Phil Dawson's.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Not on there. Dog for really, No nineteen in two
thousand and four?

Speaker 2 (46:23):
Really what happened that?

Speaker 3 (46:26):
Now you know David Acres in hand is worth to
Phil Dawson's in the bush.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
That is so shocked. I don't know why. That's the
most shocking one so far. It's not it's crazy. It
is shocking. Phil Dawson was so good.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
I would say there's for you. There's some other big
name kickers there is. Every fantasy owner is screaming about
a two thousands kicker that you've not even brought up.
I think the year will be tough with your remaining ones,
but I think he's definitely got it. I don't know
for sure, but I feel like he's got to be
in one of these.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
Is everyone shouting for Matt Stover?

Speaker 3 (47:06):
Oh, never mind. I'll just saying the name because I
didn't remember you already used your rail.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
Matt Stover for the Ravens.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
I was waiting for you to say Janikowski, but you'd
already used your Raider.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Yeah, I know that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
Matt Stover. What year?

Speaker 2 (47:20):
Oh four? We gotta gotta get a kicker in this year.
I can't get off of it.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
Matt Stover is the number nine kicker two thousand and four.

Speaker 2 (47:30):
We need reliable. Let's well, don't leave.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
Are you gonna leave two thousand and five? Kicker? You're
gonna come back to it?

Speaker 2 (47:39):
I gotta think about it. I'm really racking my brain.
We'll go. We need to get Nick Chubb here for
the Browns. We gotta pick a good year, though. We'll
do twenty twenty Nick Chubb.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
All right? In twenty twenty, Nick Chubb is the number
ten kicker, tied for number ten with fellow Cleveland running
back Kareem Hunt.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
Really okay, interesting? Okay, So now that you said that
we were accepting ties, that opens up everything. Okay, okay,
how many we have two more quarterbacks, two more running backs,
one tight end, three wide receiver, one kicker, and oh
five has to be a kicker. We can't do anything.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
But so.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
Two thousand and eight. So two thousand and eight as
a freshman, what happened that year? Have I done an eagle?
I did not do an eagle? Okay? Was Jeremy Macklin

(48:56):
good in two thousand and eight?

Speaker 3 (48:58):
Let's find out?

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Uh, he's so dominant for a.

Speaker 3 (49:02):
While two thousand and eight regular season. Let's take a look.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
Running back wide receiver.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
Oh thank you, I spilled that around.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
Er.

Speaker 3 (49:20):
He is not in the top ten, He's number seventeen.
M the top ten that year is it's so many
Hall of famers or like very very good wide receivers.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
I feel like you're talking down to Jeremy Macklin.

Speaker 3 (49:42):
I'm just saying, Jeremy Macklin was a poll and if
I read the top ten and be like, yeah, he
didn't make the cut, you know it was tough sledding.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Okay, fair enough? Uh man, it's exhausting. I'm really bothered
with these old kickers. I don't know what hold on
you said two thousand and seven. Uh must have been
eight you.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
Said two thousand and eight. Okay, because okay, okay, the
two thousand eight list I'm gonna come back to that.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
Okay, okay, okay, I'll do one more tight end here
just to finish that off. So you don't go crazy.
I've already got a Patriot, could do a Chief. Umm, Like,
do I want to use the Chiefs for that? Though?

(50:35):
What if I want to pull out a Dwayne Bow
at some point?

Speaker 3 (50:40):
Scared?

Speaker 2 (50:41):
Yeah, he's great. Uh, we'll do uh.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
Chiefs have two Hall of Fame tight ends, and you're like,
the twenty Bow's right there?

Speaker 2 (50:52):
He is right, He's off the tip of my tongue.
Travis Kelsey, I guess twenty twenty three.

Speaker 3 (50:58):
Twenty twenty three, unless it was a weird spike, I
feel like he's got to be in the top ten
every single year.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
What a what a player to what a year to
find the pin in the haystack. If I got this wrong,
you did not get it wrong. He's the number two
tight end that year. Okay, number three, so sorry, my
respects to.

Speaker 3 (51:22):
Evan Ingram.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Oh yeah, the year that made him all his money,
good fame. Okay, so tight end's done. We still need
two quarterbacks so we.

Speaker 3 (51:33):
Could go and you need three wide outs too. Running
backs yo, and two thousand and five as a kicker, Yes,
two thousand and five. We'll figure it out. I keep
thinking about Neil Rackers, but like I feel like I used.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
You don't even know what TV was on it?

Speaker 3 (51:52):
Are you going to keep whittling down teams till you
have to give me like Jacksonville's kicker in two thousand five?

Speaker 2 (51:59):
Oh my god, who kicked for him? We're gonna do it.
We're gonna do it. Do I just get first and
last name. We're gonna just do last name.

Speaker 3 (52:10):
You can just do last name unless it's Anderson.

Speaker 2 (52:13):
Uh no, it's Scoby. I think it's Josh Scobie.

Speaker 3 (52:17):
You think that's two thousand and five?

Speaker 2 (52:21):
Yeah, I did. I really did it. Look it's like
it's like.

Speaker 3 (52:29):
If he is, he's not in the top ten. Oh
he's number fifteen, he's there. You got it right, He's
just not top ten.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
That hurts to burn, Josh Scobe?

Speaker 3 (52:38):
Can I give a hint for kicker? Do you not
want it for two thousand and five?

Speaker 2 (52:43):
Can't do it? Okay, because there's kickers, But then I can't, like, yeah.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
I won't say anything. I won't say anything.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
O can't. Let let's get rid of these quarterbacks because
they ruined the party. We'll do Oh oh man, was
he this good that year?

Speaker 3 (53:08):
Who are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Blake Bortles?

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (53:12):
Was he?

Speaker 3 (53:14):
I don't know, it's who else are you going to
use Jacksonville for? Think of the show you're on?

Speaker 2 (53:19):
No, buddy, Blake Bortles. Twenty seventeen.

Speaker 3 (53:22):
That was the year, right, That's the year they made
one hundred. He is the number thirteen quarterback. I'm so
sorry you flushed.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
The wrong end though, you know that? Yeah, very strong
end of the year twenty seventeen. M that the Eagles,
so that might have an ego super Bowl? That was
Patriots Super Bowl? This Carson Wentz good that year?

Speaker 3 (54:01):
Say you find an answer?

Speaker 2 (54:02):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no no no. I'm
not gonna embarrass myself with Carson Wentz. I think that's
probably correct, but I'm not gonna do it. I think
that was his MVP year before he got hurt. I mean,
Matt Ryan's still around this mixed somewhere. Let's go Matt Ryan.

(54:22):
Wait no, no, I have I done it?

Speaker 3 (54:24):
When you used Julia?

Speaker 1 (54:26):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (54:29):
Okay, team team team team uh done, dun dun done.

Speaker 3 (54:34):
Buffalo Top of Year Putt to Cup Buffalo there I think.

Speaker 2 (54:40):
Yeah, I think Tyrad might have been there. Denver? Did
I do it? Detroit? No, because I did. Jason Hansen,
So Stafford.

Speaker 3 (54:53):
Stafford in twenty seventeen is the number seven quarterback?

Speaker 2 (54:56):
Nice?

Speaker 3 (55:03):
You know four quarterbacks?

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Yeah, let's might as well do or maybe we should
do back here. Two thousand and eight, Did I do Pittsburgh?

Speaker 3 (55:18):
Yes, you've not done either New York's yet. I don't
think you've done Minnesota. You haven't done Seattle or San
Francisco or Tampa Bay. I think lower in the alphabet,
you've kind of shied away from.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
Uh, can we do Randy Moss two thousand and six?
What team? Okay, not a trick.

Speaker 3 (55:46):
I just want you to tell me.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
I think he's still Vikings that year. I think last
year of Vikings. I've already done Vikings. Never might never
mind never Oh you have already done Vikings. Well, good
saved you because he's not in there. Was he a
Raider that year? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (56:06):
Two thousand and seven is the Pats here, So that
means two thousand and six is probably the only year
he's not on here.

Speaker 2 (56:11):
I was thinking Passes eight. Okay, let's do Houston. Haven't
done that? Nope? Did I did? I not do Arion Foster.
I lost with Aaron Foster.

Speaker 3 (56:23):
You didn't even guess with Arian Foster. You shied away.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
I like to got out, Okay, let's do h Andre Johnson.

Speaker 3 (56:31):
Six O six, Uh is number eleven?

Speaker 2 (56:40):
Fuck the heck, dude, man Corland Fittigod was right, he
was right.

Speaker 3 (56:45):
Ah, that's a shame you flushed down Dre Johnson, who
I'm sure was on there in two thousand and eight.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
I'm sure, yeah, yeah, I'm sure. Uh. I didn't even
guess Arion Foster.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
You have not yet, cass Arian Foster.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
No, Aerran Foster. Await.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
I thought you were about to say Arian Foster six,
and I was like, don't do this to yourself. There's
no way he's playing there yet two thousand and eight.
He's got to be playing at this point.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
It's one of his first years.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
I think.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
He is.

Speaker 3 (57:22):
Let me make sure, oh, Zach, he's not in there
because a different Houston running back, it's got to be
too early. Different Houston running back is in the top
ten in two thousand and eight. I would love for you,
I'll tell you what you win the game. If you
get this Houston running back in two thousand and.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
Eight, Okay, well it's not Sam con Gotto, it is,
sure it. It's not the Badger running back. I don't.
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
Give it to me, Steve Layton. Really seems Satan's racking
up yards that year.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
Wow? Okay, wow, okay, let's do. Oh wait giants mm
hmm a mod bradgjaw.

Speaker 3 (58:22):
Ooh okay.

Speaker 2 (58:27):
He is.

Speaker 3 (58:28):
Give me a position running back that's gonna be no dog?

Speaker 2 (58:34):
No okaymm oh you know who's this super easy one?
I should just do. Let's do Frank or Oh wait.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
M hm no? What so sorry he's not there? He's fourteen.

Speaker 2 (58:55):
This is unbelievable. Who played in two thousand and eight? Okay?
What now?

Speaker 3 (59:01):
Teams are left? What teams are left? You might be
missing it, really obvious.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
Miami. What's the fucker's name? What's that guy's name? Little
shifty bitch? What's his name? What's his name is?

Speaker 3 (59:13):
Na? There's I'm just kidding for our sanity. There are
no Miami running backs in the top ten.

Speaker 2 (59:20):
Fine wide receiver Jarvis Landry? Was he there?

Speaker 1 (59:24):
Eight? No?

Speaker 2 (59:25):
It's too early, damn it. Don't scratch that is he now? No, no,
we were tired a few years ago. Okay, uh fucking ah,
this is stupid dog lifeline.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
Okay, this is just a context in the in the
deep dark abyss. Okay, Matt Fortes number two. So let's
center ourselves on what era this.

Speaker 2 (59:48):
Is Doug Martin two thousand and eight running.

Speaker 3 (59:53):
Back Doug mart No shot, there's no way that's the
right year for Doug Martin. Don is the running back
in two thousand and eight. You're too late, I'm too late.
Or no, you're too early, You're too early. Sorry, Doug
Martin's like twenty twelve.

Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
Hmm, I'm going.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Back to it. You need to win on the board.
Here's a hint, and it's barely a hint, so I
know you'll like it. Two thousand and five kicker, you've
said his name like three times. You're itching at the trigger,
afraid to pull it. It was a crazy pull earlier
you wouldn't pull the trigger out of He's been in
the top ten on all of these years. Is Jay
Feely is the number one kicker in two thousand and five?

(01:00:36):
You were all over earlier, But now we got to
figure out what team he played for That's okay, give
it to me, dog.

Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
You know I think it was Tampa. Mm hmm uh
was it Giants?

Speaker 3 (01:00:50):
It was giants? J Feely two thousand and five.

Speaker 2 (01:00:53):
God, Okay, now all the monkey's off my back.

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
Now you can just be free. Okay, you don't have
to worry about so much. If you're looking for a
tip from a friend, use your quarterbacks. Get out of
the todch.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Jay Feely's running for Congress. Did you know that?

Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
That's great? They let anybody run for Congress these days,
ever since Caine became mayor.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
That's true. That's a good point. How many quarterbacks? So
I got one? Okay? Wait, so what do I need?
I need one quarterback? I need three wide receivers, three
wide receivers, two running backs.

Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
Okay, I still got twenty twenty one, twenty twenty two
staring at you.

Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
Yeah, let's take it easy, dub here. What team can
I choose? Did I do.

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
Well? I can't do that now the walls are closing it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
It really is. I I'm so frazzled that I almost
said Saquon Barkley Eagles twenty two. So I can't choose
giant stuff? Who?

Speaker 3 (01:02:04):
Who?

Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
The fuck was the Eagles running back m twenty twenty two?
I don't think they're top ten anyway. Okay, back to
the list. Did I use Jacksonville at any point?

Speaker 1 (01:02:19):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
No, I'm still not gonna okay, Oh, can.

Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
I tell you? I want to tell you the Eagles
running back because he's not in the top ten. You
are correct? Okay, is the top points guy? Yeah, you
go for it. Give me a guess.

Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
Is it? Is it the guy the Australian dude?

Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
Miss Standers?

Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Oh it is miss Sanders? Okay? Who am I thinking
of the Australian guy who started with Miami? You played there?
I think in the Super Bowl run.

Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
You're not talking about Ricky Williams, are you? No?

Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
When you talking about dudes earlier? Like is he talking
about Rickie?

Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
So Washington? Oh we seven you Seattle at all? So
let's do twenty eighteen. Russell Wilson.

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
He's been all over these. That was one earlier when
you were looking at the other quarterback right before that.
So I would guess that he's still there this year too.
He's been number one on some of these, So I'm
gonna take a wild shot that he's still yeah, he's
number eight that year, but still he's been in a
lot of the top ten.

Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
You've forget one.

Speaker 3 (01:03:46):
You picked who was the only you picked one number
one overall, and I think it's been Jay Feely. Yeah,
you're one with a bullet.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Well treat McBride this year.

Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, true, true, And you did. Brock
Bowers was really high too. Uh yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
So two running backs, running back, wide receivers, one quarterback. Okay,
let's find a team. Did I do? I did Nick Chubb?

(01:04:25):
Not Kansas City, Indianapolis? Okay, I haven't done an Indianapolis one.

Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
Uh right, yeah, correct? Because for some reason, even though
we talked about him earlier in the pod, Mike Vanderchick
was not going to be named by you in early Kickers.
That was the other one he was on all of
those years.

Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
I can't I think of this guy's name. I mean,
what I could do? I suppose two thousand and six,
Marvin Harrison.

Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
Gotta be there. There was a bunch of wide receivers
for them that I feel like our good guess is
I think two thousand and six is the right time
frame for him. I'm pulling it up right now. Could
be early would be the only thing. Oh, Zach, you
have another number one overall? Okay, and Marvin.

Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
Harrison, it's gonna say it wasn't early, that was like
peak prime apparently. Okay, two wide receiver, freaking as we
did Jets. I don't think we've done.

Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
No Jets, no San fran no Washington.

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
Okay, so twenty twenty two will do. Christian McCaffrey, Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 3 (01:05:53):
Let's see what number he was, but I think, I
mean it's the same. This tales all the time. Let's
see if injuries sell them back. But I feel like
he's still gonna help beat there. Number two overall, and
that's San Francisco, right, that is San Francisco? Correct? Okay, okay,
can you imagine Carolina the scandal?

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
True? What a trade?

Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
Okay, we can do.

Speaker 3 (01:06:24):
So you got three left, one running back, two wide receives.
Wait what.

Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Two wide receivers, one running back?

Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Yeah, okay, let's do a wide receiver for a eight.

Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
Realizing an error, I believe, no, no, you do have
all your quarterbacks. Okay, sorry, that's I was like, did
I count twenty five years fucking wrong?

Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
Yeah, uh Okay, wide receive, you were in Oa, we could.
I think Pierre Garson is gonna be a little low wow.
But I do like Peter Garzona. I think he is Washington.
Then I love what you was Plexico. Wait who else?

Speaker 3 (01:07:23):
We got?

Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
Cincinnati? We did? This would have been a great spart
for Andre Johnson.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
He's number one.

Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
I guess, oh six, I think whips. What teams have
I not done? So? Arizona done, Atlanta done, Baltimore done? Yes,
Matt Stover of course, Uh, Buffalo I could do. But
good god, do I not know anybody?

Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
I think at this point in the game, seeing for
an hour in the show, I will say this, you're
so far down. There is one team eligible in the
top ten that you have not named for this year
for wide receiver.

Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
Okay, so are born.

Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
Let me jump to running back and take a leg.
Running back there are one two, so definitely more three.
I gave you Steve Slay earlier, so you can't say

(01:08:29):
Steve Slay now. I think there are four eligible ones
in running back?

Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
Okay, is one of them? Jets?

Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
Yep?

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
Okay? Was this the weird l tier? I don't think so?
Oh shit, Now I don't know who else to be got.
I can't guess Frank or phil Ladelphia used or did not?

Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
You have not used Philadelphia?

Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
Are they? Is it Westbrook?

Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
Brian Westbrook's on You're very high, Zach. That was I
was like, if you get one, it's gonna be Brian Westbrook.

Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
He is number eight, who is the Jets sayer all times?

Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
Gonna say, I'll tell you for free, because there's no
way his ass was still in the league in twenty nineteen. Uh, that,
of course Zach is Thomas Jones.

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
Thomas Jones he is. He's solid, Okay, so he's have
to be wide receiver. Okay, have to be wide receiver.
Let's get your eligible teams out there. Okay, great, great idea.
So Washington's one of them, Tennessee is one of them.

(01:09:59):
So let's do twenty twenty one. A. J. Brown oopes,
that's pretty fun.

Speaker 3 (01:10:05):
I added to column below so I could try and
follow along with you. Twenty twenty one. Let me get
to wide receivers since that's all we got left, AJ Brown.
Since Zach.

Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
Hmm, okay, there is one two.

Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
Two for sure eligible teams, three eligible teams.

Speaker 2 (01:10:38):
Who gay is in twenty twenty one we're saying, yeah,
is Washington there?

Speaker 3 (01:10:45):
They are not?

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
Fuck? Okay, here's on Atlanta, Baltimore, Buffalo. Who would that
even be? Is Buffalo in twenty nineteen?

Speaker 3 (01:11:05):
Let me jump to twenty nineteen for you? They are
in twenty twenty one. Since you're asking for twenty nineteen,
I might as well tell you for twenty twenty one,
Buffalo would have been won the absence and they are
not there in twenty nineteen.

Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
Who am I missing for Buffalo in twenty twenty one?
Because Sammy Watkins is gone. I don't think it's Gabe
Davis yet.

Speaker 3 (01:11:39):
I think you should stick on that because I just
know this name is can drive you nuts if you
don't get it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:43):
Big name, Yeah, big name. Because Josh Allen's there? The Bills?
Who who did they lead like they had receivers and

(01:12:07):
they got rid of them all? Who?

Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
Was there? Uh? No, that's the Panthers. I don't know.
I gotta get off them. I can't.

Speaker 3 (01:12:19):
All right, you also have uh in twenty nineteen and
twenty twenty one, you have the same ram available A cup?
Cooper Cup is there?

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Okay, I'll do twenty nineteen Cooper Cup.

Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
What if I told you the bill you're looking for
was recently moved away from the team, like two years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
Only I'm not gonna use them. Tell me who it is.

Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
It's Steffon Diggs. My man. Oh yeah, I knew it
was gonna kill you, all right. So twenty twenty one, Zach,
I want to see you may put yourself in the pickle.

Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
Twenty one.

Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
Let me go and see what teams are even eligible
for you. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
I'm trying to think of who I haven't used.

Speaker 3 (01:13:08):
Have you used San Francisco?

Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
You have? So?

Speaker 2 (01:13:12):
Yes, I did.

Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
McCaffrey. Did you use Cincinnati? Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:13:17):
Carson Palmer, you did get it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
Carson Palmer in there. Okay. I think you're gonna get
it when I say the team. But that's the whole point.
You have one eligible team.

Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
Uh in this year? Any Tampa Tampa? So Mike Evans,
Mike Evans.

Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
That's why I was avoiding saying it, because you say
Tampa wide receiver. You're there.

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
Yeah, I haven't done it. Okay, Okay, wow, this is chore.

Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
But your name names?

Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
Look at that list.

Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
This was the hard part was I think there's almost
if we play again, i'd have to refine it. Because
you were name like, I think I have to incentive you.
There's got to be an incentive for like naming more
obscure names, because I very rarely did you name someone
who wasn't even in there. Only when you were going

(01:14:10):
big names a couple of times, but you were naming
guys who were like sixteen or fifteen, because you're just
such a merchant.

Speaker 2 (01:14:16):
For the niche, you know, right, Yeah, Yeah, if they
gotta say Mac, someone has to bring up Yes, Matt
Stover and who else but me? I guess the kickers
really drove me nuts. I'm not gonna lie, and I'm
still baffled at Phil Dawson's not there for two thousand
and three.

Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
I I really don't believe it. Let's let's okay, you
know what, you're gonna research Phil Dawson right now? Yeah,
Phil Dawson stats. We can end on this or actually headlines.
Let's talk about headlines while I look this up. Tua tagovilover,
Tua's benched. I feel like that was a big headline
to start the week. It's been forgotten about. Yeah, that

(01:14:59):
was a big one. So two thousand and three, I said, oh,
he had a fucking thirteen game season.

Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Then wow, what a disaster is bil Okay, well there
you go. I picked it out. I picked out his
bad year.

Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
I think my favorite was Jake versus Open the Steel
Cage match. I'd get fucking killed Randy. Randy also asked,
I'll end on this favorite rap album. Luke Rimer's a uh.
I was gonna say something really rude off cuff because
he picked the Chronic All right, great, it's a great

(01:15:42):
albums everyone thinks, so thanks for You know, he's a populist.
You know that's true. Yeah, Luke doesn't like any obscure music.
He's just a what's the opposite of a hipster? He's yeah,
he's mad stream, which is good.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
You know, I don't actually beat it, but I do.
I can't only imagine how pissed off you just got.

Speaker 3 (01:16:04):
I know, I mostly said it for that. Mine is
at Aliens by Outcast, Oh very good, love Cast Sanconia.
The highs are higher, but at Aliens is so good
all the way through.

Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
Mm hmm, yeah that is good. Sure, where is that nice?

Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
Luke came back hot. He's like, you won't call me
out this way? Bisar rde too by the far side,
there you go there. I was not familiar with your game.

Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
Good rebuttal Okay, but Tua's benching has to be a headline, right,
it was so huge to start the week.

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
I would say two is benching and the end of
the Lions game or the two headlines.

Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
It feels that way right Otherwise the other I mean,
there's just like the other big thing is just from
like rags to riches. I guess it's like people are
saying the Jaggs are for real, the Patriots are for real.

Speaker 3 (01:16:57):
One from today, just because it's topical, is the Chiefs
have announced they're leaving Arrowhead.

Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
Yeah, I mean you were living there, so do you
think you're on the Kansas side? But is that gonna
go over terribly terribly? Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
How do you sell to a fan base? They were
so proud they were the last one to be named
after anything, and also what it is, what it is
they've loved. They were defending that we can't change it,
even though it's racist, you can't take Arrowhead away. It's
so cool. Now they're gonna change it and just make
it commercial and definitely aren't gonna call it a new Arrowhead.

(01:17:36):
They're gonna sell the rights to a company.

Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
Yeah, yeah, the Kingdom Arrowhead that all feels gone.

Speaker 3 (01:17:43):
They'll probably keep the tomahawk chop yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:17:47):
Yeah, and yeah, and they'll still do the national anthem thing.
But this is the year to do it though. Yeah,
Like you can't announce it next year at the start
of next year. It's like, let's just pile on everything
that's been going on right now. And Randy says, are
again the Indiana Bears. I do love. They're looking for
land in northern Indiana. Give me the Gary Bears. That's all,

(01:18:10):
that's all I want. Please.

Speaker 3 (01:18:12):
Luke is now jumping this genres.

Speaker 2 (01:18:14):
By the way, this is the best take music take
I think I've ever heard Luke say. That's for sure
true wow album. That album's perfect. Yeah, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:18:26):
I have I have a that's my mainstream pick, okay, Luke,
so you can. I think it's Rumors by Fleetwood Mac.

Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
I recognize how great Fleetwood Mac is. I'm not a
Fleetwood Mac Fleetwood Mac fan.

Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
That's fair. I think Rumors is so good that it
makes Fleetwood like it's just rumors, that's what they you know,
It's like you did it. Rumors and Rihanna two album wonder.
You know Matt Villain, he's a great pick too. I
think that one. And then also I do think I
don't know if it's as big as the Do you
think the DK Metcalf suspension of it all is bigger.

Speaker 2 (01:19:02):
Than I don't think. So that's while that they gave
him two game suspension, like just to.

Speaker 3 (01:19:10):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:19:10):
I don't know, just so it all comes down to
the final game. Maybe, Yeah, were you think? I thought
it was gonna be nothing because this happened earlier this
year with somebody else, and because they apologized, they gave
him they gave them zero, like nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:19:29):
Look, what's your bad take? I agree? I was surprised
this was even a thing, Like I think the fact
that people care about it is a big deal. And
that's the storyline. Because I thought it was nothing burger
when it happened.

Speaker 2 (01:19:43):
Uh, I thought so too, But just because of how
much it blew up online, they had to do something
Metcalf's doing and I'm saying doing the thing, but it's
probably true. He's saying that they called him the N
word and said something about his mom. Now I would
rebuttal saying if I would make up a story of
why I did something. Those are the two exact things

(01:20:06):
I would say if I were him, Not if I
was myself, but if I was him, Like, what's the
two most disgusting things they could do? Called me the
N word, said something about my mother, and I is
that true? If so, then I understand why he did
what he did. But you still can't do you can't
like set a precedent of anything of the.

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
Order you know exactly I was. Because you made that point,
I'll go to the next point with it, which is
because I totally agree with that. I heard someone from
NFL or like basically explaining the reasoning somewhat talk about like, well,
we don't want players to feel justified, and I'm responding
that way, which the only thing I'll say to that
that's a slippery sub because I understand that metric of

(01:20:49):
like if we tell every player it's okay to say, hey,
they call me the N word, that's why I lashed out,
Or they they made fun of my mom, so that's
why I lashed out. I understand that, but all so
kind of justifies fans to be like, I guess we
could call them the inward.

Speaker 2 (01:21:06):
Well that's the thing that so the next that's going
to be in the next step. So I'm sure in
every single building today, the NFL sent out a memo saying,
if anything like this ever happens, you tell security and
then they will handle it like, no, under zero circumstances
can there be any interaction between athlete and fan physically.

(01:21:29):
And then if they do do something, you don't have
to turn a blind eye, just make let somebody else
know and they will handle it. Like That's got to
be exactly what's happening in buildings today because now fans
are going to start doing that this week, right, They're
going to start saying the worst shit possible and then
now we're gonna start seeing fans get kicked out like

(01:21:49):
Perma Band.

Speaker 3 (01:21:51):
Yeah, so true, True, I think that's fair. Luke Daddy's
a bad take.

Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
Again, they're not from so I don't necessarily disagree with Luke,
but I understand almost everybody else thinks differently, so well,
I just think.

Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
I actually think the only part of that that's a
wild take is that I think Luke has somehow both
like discounted all the songs that people like. And I
don't know anyone who defends I don't want to know, Like,
I think he's also propped up a song that people
are like, Ah, I don't know if I don't want
to know that great which is a good take, I guess,

(01:22:30):
well constructed by you, Luke. The thing I would say is,
I don't know anyone who thinks Dreams is not just
an all time.

Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
I don't think the Beatles are very good. I mean,
have you heard I Am the Walrus. It's so convoluted.

Speaker 3 (01:22:46):
It's a fun take, you know who never misses, And
it's the only thing your dad ever messages me about anymore.
Jimmy Buffett.

Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
Jimmy Buffett.

Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
Well once every two months he'll just send me the
video de Fins or an interview that Jimmy did about
you know something.

Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
Jimmy Buffett. Everything he did was a banger, just everything,
just the way he lived his life like he never missed. Yeah,
you're to your point. He was incredible, great billionaire.

Speaker 3 (01:23:17):
Billionaire turned it. Yeah, that's that's the deal, dude. Favorite
song to karaoke to. I'll end on this, hands down,
no questions asked. Friends in low places, Garth Brooks. It's
a good mix of fun to sing and at some
point everyone in the bar takes over.

Speaker 2 (01:23:33):
Let it happen, you know, Yeah, yeah, you gotta get
I obviously obviously don't do karaoke, but I assume the
people who go up there and pike like the very
obscure song, it's like, what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (01:23:46):
You know? Yeah? I have a theory that you should
go to karaoke and pick the saddest shit ever, because
then everyone sympathy cheers.

Speaker 2 (01:23:55):
Oh, like a ten minute, slow, sad ballad.

Speaker 3 (01:23:59):
I had a friend the last time we were there,
saying someone that I used to know by a doubt.
We were just all like, are you all right? Like
so we're all like sending our energy out there.

Speaker 2 (01:24:09):
You know, what do you think of Luke's choice? Play
that funky music that feels like a good one.

Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
I think it's a great one. I think it's a
great pick. I don't think it's the best karaoke song
of all time is wild, but it's a great choice.
I think it's a dark horse choice. Yeah, I would
have fallen on that, you know, the Sweet Caroline. You
could go to that or you know, uh country Road obviously, Yeah,

(01:24:35):
funky music is a funny best karaoke song, Luke, because
there's a lot of like half talking in it. You
know you love a doll like he's doing response, you.

Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
Know, sure. American Woman by Lenny Kravitz. That's good.

Speaker 3 (01:24:49):
That's good. My favorite obscure one to do Zach Knows
Downtown by maccamore. You know all the words.

Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
I would stand up and leave that it's a disaster, locked,
what could be happening? I would get violent speak hairline
does not suck. Okay, that's a terrible take.

Speaker 3 (01:25:10):
Luke's stuck around long enough to get the other guy
mad way to go.

Speaker 2 (01:25:13):
Look, yeah, what a terrible No, no, no, no, that's
an incredible song. It's one of the best songs. I
think Luke is confusing terrible with overplayed? Is it overplayed
other than at Wisconsin football games?

Speaker 3 (01:25:30):
Probably events, like you know, like it's just everywhere.

Speaker 2 (01:25:35):
Sure, I mean yeah, it's one of the best.

Speaker 3 (01:25:38):
Don't stop believing.

Speaker 1 (01:25:41):
That.

Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
Yeah, I mean that's been everywhere. To be fair, Million
Claire could do all okay, I mean yeah, not a
bad choice. What about like rap God or you know,
break out some bust.

Speaker 3 (01:25:59):
That would be great. I went one time, Oh I
forgot this happened. I'm so glad you said it. I
went one time and someone did party up by DMX. Yeah.
It was awesome, but there were a lot of skip
they did it, and I think in the moment they
were like, oh, there's a lot of Edwards. So yeah,
there's a lot of like huh, you know, just like

(01:26:20):
skipping around. But it's okay because they pivoted in theme.
They just barked for.

Speaker 2 (01:26:25):
The okay, sure, sure dangerous. Yeah were they Wait?

Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
I assume, oh, very very big Beard classes Journey sucks too.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
Journey does not suck. Don't stop believing sucks. Journey does
not suck.

Speaker 3 (01:26:42):
Are you clear? My wife also thought Journey sucked. And
then I started playing Journey socks and she's like, these
are great. Who sings this? She only knows them from.

Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
Clee Steve Perry Fox Dude, he's so good.

Speaker 3 (01:26:52):
They all right, end of this. This is the real
thing we're ending on. This is one of the hardest
quotes of all time. They asked Freddie Mercury once at night,
seem like eighty three, how's it feel to be the
best singer on the planet?

Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
He said, I don't know. Go ask Steve Berry. It's
a banger one. Luke's also have the opinion that Queen sucks.
He's told that to be too. That's a terrible Lukeuke.

Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
You can't keep doing this because I was about to
bury you and then I saw Cold forty five is
a great idea.

Speaker 2 (01:27:19):
That's great. Yeah, I'm gonna end the show before Luken
says Queen sucks. Freddie Mercury is the only good thing
because that's a bad take. So we'll be back next
week after Christmas. Post Christmas.

Speaker 3 (01:27:32):
Uh, it's a bad take. It's just like saying ice
cream is the best part of Ben and Jerry's Yeah,
we fucking know, it's the whole deal.

Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
So twelve sucks, so only Eminem's the good part. Okay,
see yea said, so you get the

Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
Fuck Yeah,
