They're gonna be looking at AI in law enforcement. We
know AI is going everywhere in the world, but has
it hit law enforcement? So let's take a look. Surveillance
video and Imaging Analytics SYS AI systems now can analyze
surveillance video CCTV bodycams to detect events, object faces, and
unusual behaviors. Also gunshot detection via audio plus video, automatically

flagging possible incidents. Facial recognition now to identify unknown individuals
against databases. Number two is predictive policings but resource allocation
AI models that analyze past crime data and other variables
to forecast where crimes are more likely or which type
of incidences may occur, using AI to optimize deployment of

officers and resources. Number three is investigations. AI helps process
huge volumes of digital evidence audio, video, texts for keywords, persons,
and patterns. AI and DNA analysis linking crimes, data, linking
disparate incidences, tools for reaction of sensitive data in video,
image evidence to protect privacy while enabling transparency. Number four

is identity verification, linking data linking multiple databases, criminal records,
license plates, surveillance, social media to identify suspects or patterns,
verifying identities via biometrics, or verifying that a person is
who they claim to be. Finally, AI can also transcribe

police bodycam footage and draft reports. For example, the city
of Chilla Vista is implementing an AI app and body
worn cameras to auto transcribing counters and generate near instant reports.
Police officers are going to be happy about that. A
lot of the discussion focuses on law enforcement uses, but
don't forget AI is also a tool for criminals, and
