Have you ever felt spiritually dead, decaying in your failures, or doomed by your circumstances? In this powerful sermon, "From Tomb to Table," Rev. Chuckie takes us through the remarkable story of Lazarus from John 11-12, revealing how Jesus transforms our spiritual graves into places of divine fellowship.

The message begins with a profound examination of Lazarus's condition – dead, decaying, and seemingly beyond hope.  skillfully draws parallels between Lazarus's physical death and our spiritual deadness, showing how sin blinds us to God's presence even when He stands near our tombs. Through vivid storytelling and Scripture, he demonstrates that no one is too far gone for Jesus's resurrection power.

What makes this message especially moving is the progression from death to dinner. Jesus doesn't merely raise Lazarus from the dead; He invites him to sit at His table. This beautiful metaphor captures the complete restoration Christ offers – not just rescuing us from spiritual death but bringing us into intimate fellowship with Himself. As Rev. Chuckie declares, "From the tomb to the table – this is the journey of every believer."

The sermon reaches its climax with a passionate altar call, reminding listeners that Jesus still speaks with authority today, calling each of us by name to "come forth" from whatever tomb holds us captive. Whether you're feeling spiritually numb, haunted by past sins, or wondering if God has forgotten you, this message will rekindle your faith in the God who transforms graves into gateways to His presence.

Experience the powerful truth that God's delays are not His denials, and discover how the same voice that called Lazarus from death to life still speaks resurrection power into your circumstances today.

John, chapter 11.
Let's look at verse 32 todayAmen.
The Bible says Then, when Marywas come where Jesus was and saw

(02:09):
him, she fell down at his feetsaying unto him Lord, if thou
hast been here, my brother hadnot died.
When Jesus saw, or thereforesaw her weeping and the Jews
also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit and
was troubled and said when haveyou laid him?

(02:31):
They said unto him Lord, comeand see.
Jesus wept.
Then said the Jews, behold howhe loved him.
And some of them said Could notthis man which opened the eyes
of the blind have caused thateven this man should not have
died?
Jesus therefore, again groaningin himself, coming to the grave

(02:53):
, it was a cave and a stone layupon it.
Jesus said Take ye away thestone.
Martha, the sister of him thatwas dead, saith unto him Lord,
by this time he stinketh, for hehath been dead four days.
Jesus said unto her, said I notunto thee, that if thou

(03:13):
wouldest believe, then shouldestsee the glory of God?
Then they took away the stone, placed the stone from the place
where the dead was laid.
And Jesus lift up his eyes andsaid Father, I thank thee that
thou hast heard me, and I knewthat thou hearest always, but
because of the people whichstand by, I said it that they

(03:37):
may believe that thou hast sentme.
And when he thus spoken, hecried with a loud voice Lazarus,
come forth.
And he thus spoken.
He cried with a loud voiceLazarus, come forth.
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot, with
grave clothes and his face wasbound about with a napkin.
And Jesus said unto them Loosehim and let him go.

(03:57):
Look over in chapter 12, if youwill please, at verse number 1.
Then Jesus, six days before thepassover, came to bethany where
lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead,
verse two.
There they made him a supperand martha served, but lazarus

(04:20):
was one of them that sat at thetable with him.
Praise God, hallelujah, if theLord will help us, I want to
preach this morning a messagefrom the tomb to the table.
Hallelujah, aren't you gladthis morning that Jesus rescued
us?
Hallelujah, just like he didLazarus, from the tomb to the

(04:42):
table, would you be so kind toraise your hands toward heaven
and ask God to anoint Hiswonderful Word.
Father, we love you.
Thank you again for your Spirit, thank you again for your
presence that we feel today, lord, as we endeavor to preach
your Word.
Lord, help us, o God, andanoint us.
Bring us to an altar today.

(05:03):
Lord, I know it's your will totouch somebody, to save a soul,
lord, to revive someone in thisservice, to love on them as only
you can today.
We will be careful today andgive you all the glory and give
you all of the praise today.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Thank you, lord.
I'm so glad to be a child ofthe King.

(05:25):
Aren't you?
Amen, appreciate His wonderfulpresence, amen.
We see today in our text thatJesus has come by and has raised
Lazarus from the dead.
Praise God.
We do not know this morning howoften Jesus visited the Bethany
home there of Mary and Marthaand Lazarus.
We know that it was definitelysome type of sweet spot for

(05:49):
Lazarus.
It was a place of very few onearth where his wounded spirit,
brother Josh, his spirit, foundrest.
Hallelujah, it was the home andBethany of the trio, mary and
Martha and Lazarus.
Praise God this morning.
These three, they loved oneanother.

(06:10):
Each one of them had faith inthe Lord and in turn, each one
of them was equally loved by theLord, hallelujah.
The Bible tells you and I, inthe book of Acts, chapter number
10, that God is no respecter ofpersons.
Praise the Lord, aren't youthankful for that, that he loves
every one of us equally.

(06:32):
Praise God, proverbs, chapternumber 8, verse 17.
The Bible says that I love them, that love me.
Praise the Lord, I sure thankHim for His love today, don't
you?
And as early this morning as Iwas praying and seeking god
preparing for today's service, that was my heart's prayer that

(06:53):
god would come down as only hecan, and he would love on his
people in this service today.
So we see here this morning inour text that sickness has come.
Sickness has come and invadedthe home and these sisters.
They now turn their need towardthe Lord.
Hallelujah.
Today.

(07:13):
They're going to quickly learn,as we read in our text.
They're going to learn that inthis text, that the wisdom of
divine love, it does not alwaysshield Its objects, it does not
always shield Its people fromsuffering, it does not always
shield us from sorrow, and evenunto death.

(07:36):
Hallelujah that even though thistrio here today, this brother
and these two sisters, they wereunited, amen.
They had the utmost tender bond, if you will, of affection and
they had such a friendship withthe Lord.
This family finds that they arepermitted to experience

(07:57):
sickness.
They are permitted toexperience anguish.
The Bible tells us in Job,chapter 14, that that man that
is born of a woman Hallelujah Isa few days and full of trouble.
Just because God loves us, justbecause we are people of the

(08:17):
living God, that does not meanwe're not going to ever face
trouble.
That does not mean we're nevergoing to get sick, we're never
going to hurt in our body, hallelujah.
But what that does mean thatevery time we are faced with a
situation of heartache andtrouble and pain, amen, because

(08:38):
we belong to him, hallelujah.
He promised he'd be with us all, the way he promised he'd never
leave us.
No matter how bad the pain maybe, he'll be the pain taker.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Hallelujah, he's the chain breaker.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
It makes no difference when we belong to God
.
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
A man that is born of a womanAre a few days and full of
trouble.
Praise the Lord In.
A man that is born of a womanare a few days and full of
trouble.
Praise the Lord.
In our text throughout theBible, amen.
We're not really told exactlythe nature of the sickness of

(09:14):
Lazarus.
But I can tell you this morningit must have been very serious,
serious enough that thesesinners, they got to a place
that they had to call on theirhealer.
Hallelujah.
They had to call on the friendof Lazarus.
You ever been to that place?
Amen, beside your pastor beingnumber one.

(09:35):
Amen beside God.
You ever got to the place thatyou know of a friend?
Hallelujah.
I know my friend will hear whatI've got to say.
I know my friend cares aboutwhat I'm dealing with.
I know I've got a friend thatloves me.
They'll go to God in prayer, amen.

(09:56):
They'll take the burden upontheir heart and they'll help me.
These sisters got to the place.
They had to call on God.
They needed the Lord to show upon the scene.
Amen, let's call the Lord, let's talk to Him.
That's Lazarus' friend.
Aren't you thankful today thatyou have a friend, even in this

(10:19):
service, this morning, whenheartache and pain, when trouble
and trial, even death has come.
But thank God, there's a friend,uncle Marshall.
That'll reach way down, he'llcome down to our level, brother
Brandon, and he'll be thatfriend that's sticking closer

(10:40):
than a brother.
Hallelujah, we'll never bealone and no matter what we face
, we'll never, ever be alone.
Hallelujah, we'll never bealone and no matter what we face
, we'll never, ever be alone.
Hallelujah, amen.
It had to be serious that theycalled on the Lord.
John 11, 5.
The Bible said Jesus lovedMartha and her sister and

(11:05):
Lazarus.
Now, this love that was chosenhere, this chosen friendship, it
proves that he loves everydifferent kind of personality.
Hallelujah, every one of us inthis service today, we all have
different personalities, butthat don't mean, brother and

(11:26):
sister, that God loves them morethan he loves you.
Hallelujah, amen.
He is a God of no respect to aperson.
Amen.
He loves you just as much as heloves Brother Johnson.
He loves you just as much as heloves Brother Mike Roberts.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Hallelujah.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
I feel something getting on me.
I said he loves you just as much.
You're just as important.
Aren't you thankful today thathe loves you enough?
He thought you was worth savingthis morning.
He thought you was worthpicking you up out of the miry
pits of hell and he said I'llcarry you all the way.

(12:08):
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
I said my friend Jesus lovesyou.
Praise God.
So the Bible tells us in Johnrather chapter 11, that he loved
Martha and her sister.
And Lazarus, amen.
He loved Martha.
Let's look at Martha.

(12:29):
He loved her.
Martha was the active.
Martha was the practical keeperof the home.
Martha, she was the one thatwas intent on looking after the
material comfort of her guest.
Amen.
Then we have Mary.
Mary was quite different thanMartha.
Was Mary?

(12:50):
She was somewhat anxious, shewas somewhat restless, and her
temperament of her sister wasdifferent.
She was spiritual.
Mary was gifted with a tendersympathy.
And then you have Lazarus.
Lazarus was a man of few words, lazarus was a quiet man.

(13:12):
But today, all three of them, brother and sister, they were
devoted to the Lord, oh yes.
They were devoted toappreciating the Lord and His
love in their own way.
As Brother Charles said thismorning Amen.
Every one of them werededicated to the Lord in their

(13:34):
own way, Hallelujah.
Now, this morning we see thatwhen Jesus received the news of
Lazarus, when he heard that hewas sick.
But I want you to realize, because of his omniscience,
jesus already knew.
He already knew the conditionof Lazarus, amen.

(13:54):
He told his disciples.
He said this sickness will not, amen, have death as its final
resort.
Hallelujah, amen, but was beingpermitted for two things, and
that was that to further andaccomplish the purpose of the
glory of God and also that Godhimself might be glorified.

(14:16):
He not only permitted thesickness, brother and sister,
but God allowed the sickness tocontinue and then he allowed it
to end in death.
Yet these two sisters we seeright here this morning, they
learned that God's delays arenot always denials.
I said God's delays in oursituations and in our problems,

(14:40):
they're not always denials.
Hope is deferred.
I said there comes a time inour life when God says you got
to wait just a little while.
Amen, hope is deferred, butit's not God's denial.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
Amen, and after a while God will reverse it.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
And God will come down.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
To your rescue.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Hallelujah, it's not going to end in a denial.
Oh, brother and sister, oh thelove, oh the pain that sometimes
love permits.
Oh, and we say does God reallylove me?
Oh, what love Amen Sometimesthat love it permits.

(15:28):
God really loved me?
Oh, what love Amen Sometimesthat love it permits pain.
Hallelujah.
And Mary and Martha, they weresure that Jesus was going to
come.
They knew that Jesus was goingto come, but just because, as
I've already said earlier, thatJesus loved them, amen, the
Bible tells you, and I therefore, he abode two days in the place

(15:49):
where he was, and those friends, those that were standing
around, amen, amen, no doubt.
Where is the Lord?
Where is he?
Could I tell you today that nowonder these two sisters, we
find them pondering.
Could I tell you today that nowonder these two sisters, we
find them pondering.
We find these two sisters Withminds that are so complex, or

(16:09):
perplexed rather, over thisstrange delay, this hope
deferred.
Hallelujah.
But, lord, if thou has beenhere, my brother had not died.
Oh, how they were going to learn, right here in this text, that
there were no neglect.
I said there were no neglect, only a purpose of love in the

(16:31):
delay.
Amen.
You know what the Scripturessay.
It talks about the love of theLord.
I've already told you that thiswhole situation was that God
would get to glory.
Hallelujah, you ever been there?
I felt in prayer early thismorning.
I pray that God will love onsomebody in this service today.

(16:55):
Oh you ever felt like God.
Where are you at?
Lord, don't you hear my cry?
Lord, don't you see my family?
Lord, don't you see mysituation?
Lord, don't you care, care notthat we perish in the whole time
.
Amen.
When you feel like God is notthere, he's only silent.
I said it's only for a momentthat that hope is deferred and

(17:19):
is in his plans Amen To comeback and to rescue his people.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Hallelujah.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Jesus rescued me.
Praise the Lord.
I said Jesus rescued me.
Oh, it must have been a painfulevent, oh painful for the Lord
to wound Mary and Martha the wayhe did by allowing Lazarus to
die.
But he wanted to reveal to them, and also to us in this service

(17:52):
this morning, his ability andHis power as he left for that
Bethany home that day, amen.
He gave those bystanders aroundHim a great description that day
Amen.
He knew that Lazarus had died.
He already knew that.
He gave those bystanders aroundhim a great description that
day Amen.
He knew that Lazarus had died.

(18:13):
He already knew that.
Amen.
And he said our friend Lazarussleepeth, but I go that I may
awake him out of his sleep.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, brotherand sister.
No doubt those disciples thatday thought he was referring to
as a natural sleep.
But being right there, jesusplainly says these words.
He said Lazarus is dead, amen.

(18:37):
So, having that, I want to showyou something this morning.
I want to look at the conditionof Lazarus.
Jesus said he was a dead man.
You see, brother and sister, lazarus is no longer sick in
body, amen.
That sickness is no longerprolonging Now it has taken his
life.
Now he's not sick, he's dead.

(19:00):
I said he's a dead man.
Lazarus is in a tomb Surroundedby family and friends that are
mourning.
They're weeping.
Even the Lord himself shows upat the grave site Amen.
But here talking of Lazarus, lazarus is not aware that Jesus

(19:21):
is in his presence.
Because the Bible says thatJesus just said that he's a dead
man.
He don't realize that he's inthe presence of the Lord.
Hallelujah, oh hallelujah.
Lazarus was a dead man.
I want you to note right herehis condition.
In Lazarus' condition he is apicture of someone who does not

(19:45):
know the Lord.
Amen.
I felt like coming andpreaching to somebody this
morning.
Maybe you're lost here today,on a Sunday morning.
You don't know the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
I said.
Maybe you feel like you don'tknow the Lord.
Amen.
In Ephesians 2, chapter 2,verse 1 says and you have, he
quickened, who were dead intrespasses and sin.

(20:08):
You see brother and sister inthat lost condition.
The sinner cannot, brotherCharles Siebert, that sinner
cannot, he cannot sense thepresence of the Lord.
Amen.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
He wished not that, the presence of the Lord is not
with him.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
When you're in that lost condition, you don't
realize your feelings are shutout, your sight is blinded and
you don't realize that the Lordhimself is walking amongst you.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
He's walking in your presence, but because you're in
a lost condition.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
And Lazarus you are a dead man.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Oh, hallelujah.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Oh, praise the Lord, oh God, help us today.
He was a dead man, a deadperson.
A sinner cannot enjoy thefellowship with God.
Hallelujah, they are dead andthey are therefore in a pitiful
Hallelujah.
They are dead and they aretherefore in a pitiful condition
.
Praise the Lord.

(21:11):
And then we see, lazarus wasdecayed.
Verse 39 talks about Martha.
Said Lord, by this time hestinketh.
You see, brother and sister, inthose days they didn't embalm
bodies the way we do today.
What a pitiful sight, what apitiful smell.

(21:34):
Oh, hallelujah.
I read of a story of a younglady that took a mission trip,
brother Ricky, to Haiti and onthat trip, when she got back,
one of the comments she made wasit stinks so bad over there.
There were places that thestench was so difficult to
endure that at one moment theyoung lady tells in her story
that I thought I was going tovomit.

(21:56):
She said it stinks so bad, butthe sad reality is, brother and
sister, is that people who livethere, they get used to it.
People who live there, it doesnot bother them, amen.
Yesterday, before we left to goto the fun day, my baby girl

(22:18):
decides she's going to cook somenoodles without water.
Help us, god, it stunk my housefrom one end to the other.
We had to let it air out allevening.
But you see, when we came backhome and I turned the AC back on
Brother Shane, it was caught inthe vents and it all over again
.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Hallelujah.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
But after a while we got used to it.
After a while, brother Ricky,it didn't stink any longer.
When you live and sin for solong and you don't realize that
the Lord is dealing with youthat the Lord is right there in
your presence, but you're asliars and you're dead.
I said you're a dead man,you're a dead individual and the

(23:03):
stink don't bother you no more.
Hey, the stench of your sindon't bother you anymore.
I pray to God today.
Come on, somebody, won't youraise your hands and say, god,
help me today.
Oh, hallelujah, it don't botheryou anymore.
The smell, the stench of sin nolonger bothers you, hallelujah.

(23:29):
Oh, do you know, brother andsister, that before the Lord
found you, the stench of yoursin it didn't bother you?
Oh, I said, before the Lordfound you, in the condition you
were in, you didn't realize it.
Oh, help me, god, I don't.

(23:52):
Anyway.
I said, when God found you, thestink that was on you, oh, the
stench of that past sin, of thatpresent sin.
But you don't realize it.
You don't realize it, everybodycan smell it.
You don't realize that youstink.
Oh, but thank God, there's afriend.

(24:13):
Can you say amen, his condition.
He was decayed, and then we findthat he was doomed, verse 32,.
If thou hast been here, howmany times you said those words.
If the Lord would just come, ifthe Lord would just step in.

(24:38):
But we feel, brother BrandonBreland, as Lazarus.
We are doomed.
Lord, where are you at?
It was almost as if they hadgiven up on Lazarus.
They had expected the fate.
He was dead and nothing couldbe done.
He's gone, he's a dead man.
Oh, the Lord, he could step in,he could have done it at any

(25:02):
time At some point.
But now the situation, brotherFrankie Is too far gone, now
he's dead and we can't donothing about it.
But I come today.
I beg to differ.
Today we must be careful, brother and sister.
I said, you and I, we've got tobe careful In how we evaluate

(25:25):
our circumstances.
God has the final say so.
I said, god has the final sayso Over your situation, over
that circumstance.
Today you may be here thismorning and you feel that you
are doomed.
You feel like you came in thismorning and it's your doomed day
.
You feel like a sinner, you feellike somebody that's gone too

(25:49):
far.
Help us, lord.
Help us, lord.
You feel like you're lost.
Maybe you're lost in thisservice today, or maybe you're a
Christian, a saint, sitting onthe pew, but you feel as though
you're a sinner.
You feel lost this morning.
Oh Lord, where are you at Lord?
I'm right here.
Where are you at Lord?
I'm looking for you.

(26:10):
What happened, lord?
You feel this morning?
Maybe you have stumbled underthe pressure of that failure,
maybe you've gone too far.
Hallelujah, my situation isimpossible.
Hear me this morning, saints ofGod.
You say my situation isimpossible.

(26:30):
I can't see no way out.
I feel like Lazarus feels today, preacher, as if though I'm
doomed, as if though I'mdecaying.
Can I remind you this morningthat all of us in this house, we
were doomed.
I said we were decaying, wewere as a dead man, but today

(26:52):
I'll come to peace with somebodywhen you find the Lord.
And the Lord comes down to whereyou are and he steps right in
the middle of your situation.
After you come to know the LordI said after you know the
Savior.
Things will begin to change.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, oh.

(27:14):
We were all doomed until wecame to know the Lord,
hallelujah.
Then we come to where we seethere was a call that came to
Lazarus.
I said there was a call andthat call was a personal call.
I want somebody to hear me thismorning.
I said it was a personal call.
I want somebody to hear me thismorning.
I said it was a personal call.

(27:37):
Lazarus, aren't you glad heknows your name, aren't you glad
?
And even when you feel likeit's your doomsday, there's a
God in heaven that knows you byname Lazarus.
Come forth Today.
There's a God in heaven thatknows you by name Lazarus.
Come forth Now.
Come on, I'm going to tell youthe gospel.

(27:57):
The gospel is for the wholeworld, brother Frankie.
The gospel is for the wholeworld, whosoever will.
The Bible says.
But I want to also tell you Goddeals with individuals.
I said God deals withindividuals.
I said God Deals withindividuals, hallelujah.
You remember when God dealt withyou about your lost condition.

(28:19):
You remember when, god, youfelt conviction grip your heart.
Hallelujah, oh.
You gripped the pew in front ofyou.
The preacher's talking to me.
That's right at me.
You ever felt like when God'sgot your number, that he's
pointing out just everythingthat you do.
You feel like God's got yournumber and he points out just

(28:40):
your sin.
I pray you to fall in thishouse this morning.
God has come to love on youtoday.
And then, finally, after Goddealt with you and finally you
give in, finally you begin tocall on the Lord, finally you
begin to sing.
It's me, oh Lord.

(29:00):
It's me, oh Lord, standing inthe need of prayer.
It's right here, right here, me, oh Lord, it's me.
It ain't my brother and itain't my sister, it ain't for
them, but it's me, oh Lord.
And finally you got up fromthat altar and you ran to the

(29:20):
altar of repentance and Godgraciously saved you.
Do you remember that day?
Come on somebody, I said.
Do you remember when God beganto love on you?

Speaker 1 (29:30):
And God called you.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Hey, so and so-and-so .
Come forth, come here, comecloser.
I want to love on you.
Thanks be to God, he's still inthe saving business.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Maybe you feel like a sinnertoday.
Preacher, I've been battlingwith it.

(29:53):
Preacher, preacher, I'm alittle low.
Today there's a call and thenone of the most powerful
scriptures in the Bible, theshortest verse of the King James
Version word of God.
The Bible says in verse 35,jesus wept, the tears of Jesus,

(30:19):
the tears.
Jesus looked at those sistersand he saw those suffering tears
.
Have you ever been amazedsometime, when you just feel the
presence of God and you beginto weep and cry, those tears
that fall off your face, it doessomething.

(30:40):
To the Lord.
I say God, help me to cry today.
God, help me to melt with tears.
Let the tears fall off my face.
The Bible said brother andsister, jesus wept.
He saw these suffering sisters,he saw their hurt and their

(31:01):
pain.
And the Bible tells you and Ithat the bystanders, they said
Behold, oh, he loved him.
Oh, the master had so much lovefor him that is now dead.
Brother and sister, it's thesame way with you and I Amen.
If ye abide in him, he'll abidein us.

(31:22):
I said, if we'll draw nigh tohim, he'll draw nigh to us.
Brother Brandon, you're herethis morning and the devil's
pushed you in the corner and yousay, oh God where are you at, I
feel?
like it's my doom day.
I pray, lord, help us to cry.

(31:42):
I pray, lord, help us to getunder the spout of the Holy
Ghost and feel the love of theSavior, hallelujah.
You see, right here now we'reseeing some changes become,
right here in the situation ofLazarus.
We see his situation, we seehis problems, we see his

(32:03):
condition.
The Bible, the Lord, said he'sdead.
Brother Josh, he's a dead man.
He's doomed.
It's over with Amen.
No more hope.
He's doomed.
It's over with Amen.
No more hope.
He's gone too far.
Four days is too long.
Four days now he's decaying andhe's stinking.
Four days he's a stink.
Four days he's a stench.

(32:25):
In the name of Jesus, when I saythis morning that four days is
nothing, when God, when the Lorddecides to show up on your
doomsday and he decides to showup at the graveside and he
decides to show out, I said theLord will show up and He'll show

(32:47):
out right at the graveside.
Too far gone.
Preacher, you don't know mypast, preacher, you don't know
my failure.
You don't know my sin.
God did.
Did you catch that?

(33:08):
God did.
But he showed up at the gravesite.
Lazarus, come forth.
He showed up and he forgave you.
When mom and daddy said thereain't no hope.

(33:29):
I've seen the young man.
When mom and daddy said thereain't no hope, I seen the young
man.
When I seen the condition ofthat young man, I met him face
to face and I looked him in theeye and I said it's so good to
see you.
All he said was you too.

(33:52):
But I'm here to tell you, I'mhere to serve notice from the
devil.
He ain't gone too far, hear metoday.
In our eyes that's a long wayout there.
He ain't gone too far for theSavior.
If that young man is out thereand he's in the condition that

(34:13):
he is out there, you think yourcondition this morning in here
is too far for the Savior, toomuch for God.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
I come to preach this morning,on a Sunday morning.
Hey, from the tomb to the table, from the tomb To the table,

(34:34):
hallelujah.
I prayed all morning.
This would get in your heart.
We see right here that, as theman, as the man, the Bible says
Jesus wept.
I said, as the man, he wept, hallelujah, oh, yes, hey, god,
as God, he cried Lazarus, comeforth.

(34:56):
And then, as the man, hesympathizes with us in our
sorrow.
He sympathizes with us in ourseparation, but as God, brother
and sister, he comes and as Godhe can banish them all.
I said the man, he weeps, butGod, he banish them all.
I said to man he weeps, but God, he banishes them all, won't
you?

(35:16):
raise your hands and thank Godfor a risen.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Savior today.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
It's His will to pick you up out of the grave in your
spiritual life today.
Spiritually, I feel dead.
Spiritually I'm decaying.
I feel like I'm doomed.
Oh, but thank God, there's achange coming for Lazarus,

(35:43):
hallelujah when Jesus came tothe tomb, where Lazarus was
Brother and sister.
Everything, everything.
That means nothing's left out.
That means A through Z, out.
That means A through Z, amen.
That means A double L.
That means every bit of itbegan to change.
Death reigned, oh yes it did.

(36:03):
Decay, brother Josh had begun toset in.
But still in all, that's nottoo much for God to hold
somebody.
I said that's not too much forGod.
Come on somebody.
I said that's not too hard forGod.
Everything began to change.
He's coming out of that tomb.
He's coming up Because a Saviorhas came on the scene the Lord

(36:27):
has come by.
And when the change began totake place, it brought life.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
Can you say amen, verse 44.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
And he that was dead came forth.
Lazarus, come forth.
Oh, what great obedience.
Hallelujah.
Even when we're as a dead man,we can't feel the presence of
God, we can't hear the voice ofGod because of carnality, but in

(36:56):
His love and in His mercy andgrace, amen.
Lazarus, as a dead man, heheard that boldness, he heard
that authority.
Oh, I feel it today.
I said he heard it.
Lazarus, get out of there.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
Get over here where I'm at.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
You don't belong in there.
Hey, god said, or the Lord said, god for your glory, that these
that are standing around, Iwant them to hear it, I want
them to see it.
Have you ever thought about why, god, are you doing it the way
you're doing it?
It's for his glory.
I said he will get the gloryfor what you're doing it the way
you're doing it.

(37:35):
It's for His glory.
I said he will get to glory forwhat you're dealing with and
what you're facing.
He will get to glory.
I'm almost done.
From the tomb to the table andwe see that Lazarus came forth,
that he that was dead now iscoming out.

(37:55):
Brother and sister, this wasnot just some future quickening,
this was just not someimmediate change.
It was the power of God.
It was to give the glory to Him.
I think it was Brother Frankie.

(38:16):
Maybe yesterday it just came tomy mind Talking about two
elderly people that weresuffering with COVID.
Everybody, most everybody's, hadCOVID.
You know what to do.
I almost lost my father, butthose two elderly began to pray
and call on God You're talkingabout.

(38:39):
When you're down with COVID,you feel like you're doomed,
you're sick, but those twoelderlies, they began to call on
the name of the Lord.
They knew their God.
They felt like they were thrownin the fiery furnace.
It was their doomsday.
They were going to startstinking, decaying and rotting,
but they began to call on Godand the story says that that

(39:00):
brother said that God instantlyhealed him.
That's the first I've heard ofsomebody instantly being healed,
of COVID Instantly.
Look at the picture in this texttoday Instantly, lazarus come
forth, straight up, wrapped up,bound Napkin on his eyes, go

(39:30):
ahead and say it.
Oh, that authority.
When God says that's enough.
No, no, no, no, get up, get up,brother Sidley, here this
morning I don't see BrotherSidley.
No, brother Sidley, tell SisterMadison.

(39:53):
No, get out of here, come on,let's go.
That's what God does.
No, can't do it.
Lord, I'm doomed, I'm dead.
I ain't strong enough, I'm weak.
Oh God, something happened andGod said nope, not, none of that
, not today.
Satan, get up, come forth andimmediately Amen.

(40:19):
Something happened, brotherBrandon, something took place.
The Lord showed up on Lassus'doom day, the.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
Lord showed up, he brought him out of the tomb.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
And we read in chapter 12, verse 1.
He's got a place at themaster's table.

Speaker 4 (40:36):
It's God's will for somebody to get up.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
It's God's will, on a Sunday morning, get up from
where you are, come forth, hallelujah, the Lord will show
up on your doomsday.
The Lord will show up on yourdoomed day.
The Lord will show up and hewill come and rescue you when
you think it's all over.

(41:00):
Nothing else can be done.
That's how they felt.
He's decaying, he's stinking,stinky flesh.
Oh hallelujah.
Four days is too late.
No, not for this Savior, it'sfor the glory of God.
I preached to you some years agoabout the victory of the

(41:24):
vulture.
I passed a vulture yesterday.
I said God, help that stinky, nasty bird.
But that's heaven's sanitizingcrew.
When we feel like we are leftfor dead and the heat of hell is

(41:47):
baking on us, what are yougoing to do now?
You've been squatted on theroadside, the flies are flying
around you.
You're decaying, you'restinking, hey, but one thing
left to do, and that's put up aroadside cross, because you're
dead until the Lord shows up.
Hey, I hope you're feeling thistoday.

(42:09):
You came in this morning soheavy burdened, lord, I don't
know how much longer I can go.
Hey, what about it?
New converts, those of you thatare just coming to know the Lord
.
The devil's been working on you.
The devil's been lying to you.
Don't grow weary.
And well, do that.

(42:29):
Look at the master.
Today you feel like I'm justabout gone.
I'm almost dead.
I'm down for the count.
It's God's will for the Lord toshow up at the grave site and
to pick you up, bring you out ofthat grave.
Amen, you're on your way.
There's one of the greatestinvites you've ever received on

(42:50):
a Sunday morning.
And the master's saying come, come and die.
Pull up to my table.
I got a feast waiting on you.
Hallelujah, are you hungry thismorning?
Are you hungry For heaven'sbuffet today At the master's
table?

(43:10):
Hallelujah, praise the LordAfter a man is saved.
When that man or woman becomessaved, they're in their grave
clothes.
But thank God, brother Charles, you don't have to stay in that
condition.
You don't have to stay that way.
Zechariah 3 and 4, the Biblesaid and he answered and spake

(43:31):
unto those that stood before him, saying he's talking right here
concerning the filthy garmentsof Joshua, the high priest,
notice what he said.
Take away the filthy garmentsfrom him.
And unto him, the Scripturesays that he said Behold, I have
caused an iniquity to pass fromthee and I will clothe thee

(43:56):
with chains of raiment.
Hallelujah, god's got a brandnew wardrobe for you.
You say, preacher, well, I'vebeen saved for three months,
I've been saved for three years,I've been saved for 30 years,
yeah, but you came in on aSunday morning.
You came in and felt like youwere dead.
Feeling like you were dead, feeling like you were doomed,
you were decaying, you'restinking.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
So it's God's will Amen to help you this morning
he's got a change of clothes.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
I said he's got something brand new.
All your iniquity has been goneaway.
Hallelujah, praise the Lord,verse 44.
And his face was bound the nextchange we see as I come to a
close.
It brought light.
Now the Bible says his face wasbound until the Lord showed up.

(44:45):
We're blinded, can't see untilwe get to the Lord, until the
Lord shows up To our rescue.
Jesus rescued me.
Hallelujah, acts 9 and 18.
And immediately they fell fromhis eyes, as it had been scales.

(45:07):
And he received his sightforthwith and arose and was
baptized.
This is a good day for somebodyto be saved.
And he received his sightforthwith and arose and was
baptized.
This is a good day for somebodyto be saved.
This is a good morning, thismorning, for somebody to get
revived or renewed.
It's a good morning forsomebody to get up from where
you are and come forth and bebaptized.
Hallelujah, leave here with afire burning in your heart,

(45:32):
speaking in a heavenly language.
When the Lord showed up, thingsbegin to change.
Now I'm coming to where I wantto get, to Come to a close.
Chapter 12, verse 1.
It brought a luxury.
In chapter 12, our text said in6 days Before the Passover,
jesus is now going to Bethany.
He's going there for agathering, he's going there for

(45:56):
fellowship, for eating, to havedinner in His honor.
Hallelujah.
Thank God for chapter 12.
Praise the Lord To be withBethany, or in Bethany with the
trio all over again.
It's supposed to be just two ofthem Because there was a dead
man already in the grave,hallelujah.

(46:19):
But now Jesus is going back toBethany again for a reunion,
brother Frankie and he's goingto be with the Bethany trio all
over again, hallelujah.
Everything is now completeagain.
And our Lazarus, our taxbrother, said Lazarus Was one of
them that sat at the tableHallelujah.

(46:41):
The devil says it's all over.
The devil says you're dead, you're gone.
But God, come on a Sundaymorning To encourage somebody.
You ain't gone too far it ain'tover I got a place for you at
my table.
Hallelujah, now Lazarus is atJesus' table, praise the Lord.

(47:05):
Lazarus is sitting beside theone that made all of this, so
hallelujah, praise the Lord.
There is a place Beside the onethat made all of this, so
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
There is a place God wants youto be.
It's under the shadow of theAlmighty.
There's a place you can getright next to the Savior.

(47:32):
And that's where Lazarus findshimself Lifeless, hopeless, and
now he's sitting at the table.
You remember when he broughtyou from the tomb.
You remember when you wereliving a life of sin.
Praise God for those words.
Loose him and let him go.

(47:52):
Thank God for the words.
Loose him and let him go.
Thank God for the come forth, hallelujah.
Praise the Lord, and I'mclosing right here.
Could I ask you an importantquestion this morning?
Come on, help us, brother Josh,if you will.
Brother, where are you at thismorning?
Are you haunted by a grave ofthe sin of the past?

(48:18):
Are you haunted by that grave?
Spiritually, hear me thismorning, lifeless, living in
your failure.
The devil magnifying all thosefailures, the devil magnifying
that life of the past.
Oh, there ain't no hope for you.
The devil says you're doomed.

(48:41):
Remember, I told you God didremember them, but after he
forgave you of that past, afterhe forgave you of those sins, he
said, he cast them into the seaof forgetfulness, never to be
remembered again.

(49:01):
I was on a job Friday cutting ayard and a young lady stood
before me and she was talking tome about her and her husband's
new work at where they attendchurch and I seen the tears
begin to well up in her eyes andI knew the devil was trying to
work.
I looked at her and I saidMa'am, that's God working in

(49:26):
your family's life.
She began to cry.
She said the devil tells me I'mnot good enough.
The devil tells me it brings upeverything about my past.
You ever been there?
The devil tells her, the stonesdone, been rolled before the
door, you're dead.

(49:46):
You're in a tomb.
No sense in trying.
He's still the father of alleyes.
Today, right now, in thisservice, he's the Father of all
eyes.
One man looked at me a few daysbefore that and, as I was

(50:09):
praying, god gave me a scripturefor him.
These young people ought to beable to quote it as much as I've
preached it to them Though Iwalk through the midst of
trouble, thou wilt revive me.
Thou shalt stretch forth thinehand Against the wrath of mine
enemies, not to destroy them, but to put a limit on them.

(50:33):
Enemies, not to destroy them, but to put a limit on them.
And that scripture says in thyright hand shall save me, don't
worry.
That man looked at me and saidpreacher, how do you do that?
The Holy Ghost fell and I trulysaid God, I need it right now,
forever.
He said how do you do that?

(50:53):
And I said my friend, mydefinition of not worrying the
way I feel the Holy Ghost, rightnow, this morning, we must
rebuke the flesh and say help meto get out of the way of the
Lord.
Trust in the Lord with allthine heart and lean not to

(51:14):
thine own understanding, but inall thy ways acknowledge Him and
he shall direct your path.
When the devil says it's over, won't you stand with me this
morning when the devil saysyou're doomed?
I don't know what you'redealing with.
I don't know exactly where youare this morning.
Do you feel like Lazarus,decaying?

(51:43):
Do you feel dead, spiritually, that is, but thank God, right
here.
Thank God, he was invited to aman's house.
That was an invitation thatcame to Lazarus Come on, come go

(52:03):
with me.
Thank God, you met a man Forthose of you that are saved this
morning, but maybe you'restruggling with something.
Thank God, you met a man Forthose of you that are saved this
morning, but maybe you'restruggling with something.
Thank God, you met a man, a manby the name of Jesus, that took
you to his house and he sat youdown at his table and he said

(52:26):
come and dine, eat.
He laid a feast before you.
After he brought you out ofthat tomb, he brought you all
the way to his table.
That's you, uh-uh, uh-uh.
I felt that that's you.

(52:48):
That's you.
That's you.
It's not for my brother, it'snot for my sister, but it's for
me.
Oh Lord, every head bowed andevery eye closed.
Preacher, you've talked to metoday.

(53:08):
Preacher, the Lord has dealtwith my heart today.
Could I tell you, just like hespoke life into Lazarus, he
wants to speak that very samelife into your spiritual soul.
Today, brother and sister.
Lazarus is proof that God isable.

(53:30):
Just like Lazarus, the Lord canand the Lord wants to bring you
from the chains of death thathold you down.
He wants to bring you to afeast at His table where joy and
life abound.
Did you hear me saying it, god?

(53:50):
Where joy and life abound, godcan change it all.
God can prove that he'sfaithful.
What about it this morning?
Are you willing to turn to theLord and heed that call?
Come forth Before the churchcomes.
There's a call coming out rightnow.

(54:11):
Come forth Before the churchcomes.
There's a call coming out rightnow.
Come forth Before the churchcomes.
Do you know the Lord thismorning, are you living in a
past failure, a past regret?
Are you haunted by that graveof sin?
There's a call right now Comeforth.
Are you going to be as Lazarusand obey that call right now?

(54:35):
I'm talking to you this morningthat you're just a little bit
low, you're a little bitburdened down.

He's wanting to take you andpull you out of that tomb, that
spiritual grave.
He's wanting to bring you out, brother and sister.
He's got a place waiting foryou.

(55:16):
He's got a special seat waitingwith your name on it.
He's got a feast waiting on you.

That young lady looked at me.
She said the devil tells me I'mnot good enough.
The devil tells me, youremember when.
You remember this, you rememberthis, you remember that.
Look at this, look at that.

(55:56):
But God said I don't remember.
I've already forgiven you.
Won't you come forth?
Listen to the authority thatyou're hearing this morning?
Lazarus, come forth.

(56:18):
All right, now let me talk tothe church.
You come in this morning.
I want to ask you have youforgotten where the Lord has
brought you from?
Have you Of late Been feastingAt the master's table?

(56:42):

Do you remember when the LordGave that call to you?
Yeah, preacher, I remember.
There's something I want thechurch to come pray about and
that's this At the marriagesupper, you and I, church, we

(57:05):
will dine with him, we'll dinewith the master, and all because
he breathed eternal life Intoour soul, all because he brought
us from the tomb and he carriedus all the way To the table.
And you're a part of thatchurch this morning and you're

(57:26):
saying You're telling mepreacher, that's me, I'm saved
this morning, preacher, hepulled me out, but there's some
things I need to pray about.
This altar's open as the churchis coming, the altar's open.
Won't you meet me in thesealtars and pray about it?
Won't you come this morning?
Oh, if you don't feel the needto pray, won't you gather around

(57:48):
some of these that have steppedout and say Lord, I've come to
the altar today in a need ofprayer.
Lord, it's me that you'vetalked to.
Lord, I'm standing in the needof prayer.
It's not for my brother, it'snot for my sister, but it's me.
I've come today for deliverance, I've come for a refreshing.

(58:12):
Oh, could we not come aroundthese altars, nonchalant, this

Won't you pour your heart outto Him today?
Won't you thank Him that hesaved you?
Won't you thank Him that onyour doomsday, when you were in

(58:33):
a life of sin, when you werelost and undone without the Lord
, in His mercy and in His grace,he came down and he forgave you
?
He came down and he said Loosehim and let him go, bring him
out of that pit, bring him outof that grave today.
And he set you at the table ofthe master.
He said come and die.

(58:54):
Royal blood flowing throughyour veins.
You've been bought with a price, royal blood.
Today You're a child of theking.
Oh, but, preacher, I've beenstruggling with some things.
Pray about it.
Bring it to the altar and leaveit there.
Pray about it this morning.
Talk to the altar and leave itthere.
Pray about it this morning.

(59:15):
Talk to the Lord for a littlewhile.
If you're not saved in thisaltar, stay there until the Lord
has saved you, until the Lordhas redeemed you, until the Lord
brings you out of thatspiritual tomb.
And you say Lord, I want to doeverything in my power to make
it to the master's table.

I don't want to stay in thisplace where I am.
Oh, there's a place higher,there's a place better, there's
a place that the Lord has thathe wants you to be.
