(00:00):
Recording. Why do you clap testingthe mic? Yeah, but there's so
many other ways to test the micother than clapping, Like you can literally
just see the weight form. Snapsnap. I mean, now you're just
wasting resources. Don't get that.Yeah. So I do like my glasses
though, I really do. I'mglad that you do. I will say

(00:20):
I've embraced the glasses look and Ilike it good. You should do a
model shoot, that's gonna be verygood for you. That's a lot of
work. Not really, all youhave to do is just sit there and
pose, says the man who willnot copy outlines but instead read does an
old What does that even have todo with anything that we're talking about right

(00:43):
now? Because I just said it'shard, you were like, no,
it's easy. All you have todo is pose. Well, guess what
all you have to do is hitmake a copy boom roasted. Yet,
why do you have to come formy life like that? I don't understand.
That's what happens. We have anoutline, use it. I made
it for a reason. You're theone I was saying you want to do

(01:06):
scripts. I made that outline, old man, Josh, everybody, it's
very cranky today. Buck. Inmy day, we didn't have outlines.
We wrote with a stick in theOh my gosh, you know what.
I had a game boy, Ihad a bull and the clap That old

(01:34):
man, how did he even gethere? That's gonna be you in apparently
five years? Can you you?You and your technology? I'm gonna go
for a run. Do you dothat? Grandpa? Greetings and welcome to

(02:09):
our shows few context. It ishere we discussing ciple views on a routine,
bi weekly basis, over the incrediblynerdy things we can't stop talking about.
To take you on this dorky rider, your host Josh oh does this
work? Grandpa? Get out?Hi, I'm Josh and myself Jay,
So why don't you take a seat, sit back, relax. We're here
to do all the heavy lifting. It is about to get nerdy. This

(02:30):
is episode ninety seven. Heart. You know I have one card left.
This is what happens when you screwup the script. Because life is crazy,
and we know that whatever we talkabout will ultimately go haywire because news
comes out pretty much every single minute. Yes, indeed, let's get right

(02:53):
on to it. Hi, Jase, how are you pretty good I'm the
little loop, little loopy LUPI.Yeah, yeah, I mean life is
returning back to normal sort of,but it's still bizarre land. It's bizarre
land. That's really what it is. No one else's bizarre land. What
is the movie delays? Movie? What movie delays do we have? Now?

(03:19):
You know, the movies are justgetting pushed back and back and back,
and I am tired of it,Jason, I understand the reasoning.
I'm tired of it, okay, but I'm not okay with it. Okay,
I understand it. Oh do Iunderstand it right, But I'm not
happy with it. Well, butwhich movies are getting paid out? We
got a few things that are beingpushed back. So just recently we learned

(03:42):
that Double O seven, James Bondhimself never what is it? Never Die
Again? Is that it? Ibelieve we're gonna say yes, Yes,
it's been delayed pushed back to Aprilof twenty twenty one. Black Widow once
again delayed over to the March oftwenty twenty one, which moves the entire
Marble slate over. There's that,Yeah, I guess that's the downside of

(04:08):
the It's all connected model. Likeyou move one thing down like it all
comes down, it all crumbles tothe ground. And then we also got
a Falcon and Winter Soldier being delayedas well because it was supposed to be
out of so many things, somany things that I'm just like, very

(04:30):
very saddened about. However, onceagain, I understand the reason for it,
because we are living in the apocalypse. We can get Starbucks in the
apocalypse, but we're in the apocalypse. At least you're Starbucks. You get
some conspised since in the fall. No, not really, I mean it's
it's very rare. Did you getOh, that's a tasty flavor like that

(04:59):
you do pumpkins by you know.I never had a pumpkin spice, neither
of I. I feel like thatmight change this month. I'm not sure
yet, but not not because Iwant to. More than likely because I
will be going with people who wouldlike to. I'm not going to end
up testing it in some capacletes. You should do a voice my mode for
yourself and say like, hey, this is a you know, a live

(05:21):
review of Pumpkin Spice into the nextepisode. I got you. Yeah,
yeah, I gotch But yeah,So a lot of things being delayed,
Um, what are you what areyour thoughts on those? I mean,
if I sat here and said toyou that I don't believe that any movie

(05:45):
is not going to get delayed ever, ever, again, then I would
tell you that I probably didn't believemyself. Sure it's gonna happen. It's
just going to continue happening unless wehave a real control And you know,
we really don't like to wax youknow, political or philosophical, but the

(06:06):
reality is that we live in aworld where one vertical market absolutely affects the
other. So you know, entertainmentis primarily what we talk about. Every
once in a while, we'll talkabout news. Every once in a while,
we'll talk about technology. But Imean, in the country that we
live in, we hope people understandthat what they do has an impact on

(06:29):
what everyone else is doing. Soif we don't behave responsibly, we all
get pushed back. We're all gettingleft back a year. I mean,
really, I'd love to go onvacation, but it's difficult to do that
these days, very difficult, especiallywhen we're not allowed and you know,
everywhere we're not allowed in the worldapparently, yeah, exactly, So you

(06:55):
know, that's great. I meanwe can travel in the in the States,
but every state has its own roles, and sometimes some states scare more
than another. How many times canI drive past Georgia Like, come on,
guys? So, I mean it'sit's unfortunate, and you know,
once we get it the fastest wecan return back to normal. Yeah.

(07:18):
So the only thing I can reallydo in this platform is to say,
like, hey, let's do whatwe can. Let's wear the masks,
let's social distance, and we canget movies back again. Only were that
easy? If only? If only? But we were talking earlier, and

(07:39):
you had an interesting fact that yeah, didn't occur to me until you said
this. Would you like to tellthe audience what an interesting fact was?
Oh? Yeah, so are youtalking about the Marvel Studios fact? Yeah?
Yes, So the Marvel Studios fact, because we talk about Marvel pretty
much every single episode actually going tobe well, I mean kind of kind

(08:01):
of do we do we kind ofdo? Yes, we did, stop
it, They'll do that stop it? That Josh, so interesting fact.
This is going to be the firstyear that we have not had a Marvel
Studios movie come out since two thousandand nine. Whiche which is insane,
right because you think about it.In two thousand and eight, Iron Man

(08:24):
and Incredible Hulk came out in thesame year, and I think that was
one of those times where, youknow, for the people that were alive
and were interested at movies in thattime, we kind of had an idea
like, oh, these things arelike referencing each other, and we didn't
have anything to look forward to untiltwo thousand and nine when Iron Man two
came out. So pretty much sincethen we've had a movie come out every

(08:48):
single year, and then they startedincreasing it. We had two a year
and we have three a year,so to go from that all the way
to the finale with Avengers Endgame andthen finish it off, which honestly,
if you look at Spider Man Farfrom Home, it's really like a coda
if you will. Now, youknow, it's twenty twenty and we're waiting

(09:11):
to start the next phase. Wedon't have anything. I mean, Blackwoodow
got pushed back. We should beexperiencing internals right about now. We're getting
ramped up for like the at leasta final thriller, and none of that
is happening. The only thing that'sactually happening is we're getting one division now.
One division was supposed to be comingaround around this time, you know,

(09:37):
like end of twenty twenty, weresupposed to have Falcon in the Winter
Soldier. But like you said before, with all the Marvel movie studio properties
that are getting pushed back, soare the television show that was right exactly,
So who knows how this is allgoing to play out. I still
trust them. It's just weird. It's just a weird place to be in.

(10:00):
Oh yeah, especially when you literallyhave this huge roadmap, right,
and you know, we've known fora while that Figi and company, they
essentially have this giant map just sayingOkay, this goes here, this goes
here, this comes out at thistime, and once that comes out,
this is going to follow because that'sgoing to tie into this, which will
then tie into that movie, whicheverything just just all very tightly kept.

(10:24):
And I can only imagine, youknow, them having to redo however many
years of planning that they've already hadand push everything away because of everything that's
happened this year alone. Yeah, because because I don't honestly think it's as
simple as goose shift over right.I don't think it's as simple as that.

(10:48):
No, And but at the sametime, I would hope that there's
some type of flexibility, right ifif something happens obviously not as you know,
as a pandemic of twenty twenty, the pandemic of twenty twenty, I'm
hoping that there's a little bit offlexibility, like, hey, we still
need time to cast for this projectthat's going to be coming up that we

(11:11):
were intending to announce. If wedon't have this done, then we need
to shift this back. And actually, to be honest with you, we've
been seeing this at work since theJames Gunn intident. I mean that was
supposed to be the beginning of Phasefour and that didn't happen at all.
No, I mean we've been Ifeel like Phase four has just been plagued

(11:37):
with weirdness. To be completely honestwith you, you know, Guardians of
the Galaxy Volume three was supposed tostart Phase four, and you know,
James Gunn, like we know, didn't say anything. Recently, somebody with
ill intent decided to go back andfind out things that were set in the

(12:01):
past that had no bearing on wherehe is today and where we are today.
And decided to make the past thepresent and decisions were made. He
got boosted, people were asking forhim to come back, and people were
standing still and firm and what theirdecisions were making. He got hired by
DC and then got rehired by Marvel. So now here we are Phase four

(12:26):
hoping to happen, and now Coronavirus. Man, Coronavirus has been the big
catalyst for everything because somebody to upa tweet of James Gunn. Look at
that. This is I mean, this is how it all got started.
Super Twitter. Anyways, Yeah,Phase four has been this like I don't

(12:48):
know, like as weird as thisis. Could you imagine, and I
think you and I have talked aboutthis before, could you imagine if we
saw Avengers Infinity War, we werewaiting for Avengers Endgame and Coronavirus happened.
I think I'd be losing it rightnow. I don't think I would be
okay. I would have found away to leak that movie somehow, I

(13:13):
would have learned. I would havelearned how to hack. I just have
no I mean, you might actuallyhave to figure out how to get a
job like on property and say like, hey, I'm just looking for a
job and just go straight to theserver room and just like Google, like
I have a lifted, I havea USB right here, just gonna plug

(13:37):
that in just now? Would youwould you just watch it for yourself or
would you share it with the people? You do that thing with your voice?
That's weird. Um, don't don'ttreat that. Do you know exactly
what I'm doing? I have noidea what you're doing right now? Stop
it, just stop it. It'svery strange. You should get that checked
out. Um, So I thatI would first watch it for myself and

(14:05):
then I would share it. Wouldyou would have shared? I would share
it? Would you shared it withme? Would you share it with me
first? It would share with thecommunity? I share it with you first.
Absolutely. I don't know, man, no, whereas I would hold
on the way I paused, Wouldyou not share it with me? I
don't know if I would take it? Oh, all right, that's a

(14:26):
good answer. I don't know ifI would take it, to be completely
honest with to because i'd be there, you know, because once I opened
Pandora's box, you know it's it'snot on itsic security of whoever is holding
it anymore. You know what Imean. So, but see by now

(14:48):
I feel like I'm a target byme leaking it. Then they would be
like, oh, no, they'veleaked it. It's on the interwebs.
We have no choice, Disney plusPremium. I don't think it would be
on Disney plush if we're well,I don't know about that because and here's
the reason why. And here's thereason why before we move on to the
next topic. You remember a verylong time ago. And when I say

(15:11):
a long time ago, I meanlike two years ago. I mean this
day. This year feels like sevenSo yes, that was a long time
ago. That's like the magic numberthat everyone keeps using, like seven years
in twenty twenty. Anyways, youremember comic Con, Remember way back when
Comic Con used to be this thingthat was untouchable for at least you and
me, where we'd always get theleaks and like the live blogs and people

(15:33):
streaming in on Twitter. They announcedthe trailer, like the super secret trailer
for Avengers Infinity two war and wesaw it, and then Disney keeps striking
and claiming all the copyright claim rightand like to this day, it's not
the easiest thing to find. So, like I know, so like to

(15:54):
this day, if the original ComicCon Infinity War trailer is still not easy
to find. Best believe, ifsomebody leaked it, I'm pretty sure they
would just find a way to likeremove it from the internet. So nobody
had it and I still have iton That means that they would find you

(16:15):
and make an example out of you. You would see them, marvel ninches
them. You don't want to meetthem. That's what I'm trying to tell
you. I care about you,So just delete it, Delete any coffee,
any reference, any clue, tracethat you had that leadst you back

(16:36):
to them. Just get rid ofit. Don't do it. Stop the
signal. That's a PIF reference forany of you out there. I'm sorry.
Yeah, yeah, but yeah,I'm worse. But it's it's I
don't know. Like I said,I would just I would stay away from

(16:59):
it. I would say it's unfortunate. I really wanted to know what happened
to all the characters that got dustedaway quote unquote. It would be really
tough, but I would be reallyglad that at least most of it was
filmed. Oh yeah, for sure. I mean, I mean they didn't
think about it exactly exactly, butcould you imagine they actually still had more

(17:22):
things to film and they stopped everything. I don't know, you awful,
that is, you know what? That is the darkest time one, not
necessarily the one that because I didn'tget to see end Game in that one.
At least now I can just watchit from the comfort of my couch
whenever I want. Yeah, you'reyou're feeling depressed. Co put in end

(17:45):
Game. I need to see thatportal scene again. Let's go. That's
terrible anyway, it's you know, speaking of having things on Disney Plus to
watch like end Game. Yes,so you myself and a few other friends.
Earlier in the year when we started, you know, quarantining ourselves,

(18:10):
we wanted to watch movies together still, but you know, we found a
way to do it. It wasn'texactly the best way, but it worked,
no right, with such Neamberthals backthen, like we were trying to
figure that how to think exactly, but it worked. We we took rocks
and we smashed them and worked wemade fire somehow. Um, but now

(18:36):
there's a much better way to doit. And I say much better.
In quotations based on the test thatwe did. But I mean, for
one out of five clicks, Iguess that's an okay average, right,
sure? So can you can youexplain to everyone what I'm talking about?

(18:57):
Absolutely? So, what Josh isactually referring to on Disney Plus is a
new feature that has been announced officiallyfinally, because this was rolling out in
other countries, but we didn't haveit here in the States. If you
add a chance in another country andyou're listening to us, you are very
lucky because we were clamoring for thiswhole while the feature that is but I'm

(19:18):
actually referring to is actually called groupWatch, and GroupWatch is actually not a
unique feature. There are several servicesthat hind to do that. You could
do this on Netflix through a computerwith extensions through your web browser. However,
this one actually is directly through theapp. And actually, Josh,

(19:41):
it's interesting that we're actually talking aboutthis now because we were actually testing something
similar to this on a feature calledMovies Anywhere, and Movies Anywhere actually is
primarily owned by Disney, So youknow, for a service and a feature
like this, I'm imagining this issomething that has been in development for a

(20:04):
really long time. And you know, when you're testing something like this,
there's just a lot of testing thatyou need to do, and a lot
of bugs are going to come up, and a lot of irregularities that could
potentially present itself. So you collectall that information, you bring it back
to developers to constantly retweak it andfix it and fix it and fix it.

(20:26):
So, if you're familiar with MoviesAnywhere, share Pass is something that
allows you to not only share movieswith one another, but you actually can
also share I guess the same synchronicitywith the movie. So, yeah,
that feature that's in Movies Anywhere isliterally implanted right into Disney Plus, which

(20:51):
we are very glad that it's here. But there are some issues and yeah,
like the issue of not being ableto connect if you click it one.
Yeah. So if you're familiar withAmazon, Amazon has this. Do
you use Amazon? Are you afan of Amazon? I don't know.
I mean, I I have Amazon, I use Amazon. I am I

(21:12):
am a prime member. Okay,Yeah, So Jeff Bezos has had a
meeting with his executive team and theywere studying the process of what it looked
like for a user to get tothe end goal, and they were counting
how many clicks that it took, and Jeff Bezos put up one finger and

(21:33):
he said, one click, oneclick? How can we get this entire
process to come down to one click? So I'm always very conscious of that
whenever it is I'm doing whatever itis that I'm trying to do, Like
how fast can I get to whatit is that I need to do?
Because if I need to, Inotice, I will check out after like
five taps. If I haven't gottento something in five taps, it's already

(21:56):
not that good for me. Sotime, Yeah, it's not worth my
time. So with Disney Plus andGroup Watch, there are several steps that
need to happen, and you can'tdo it on directly through the television.
Your television is involved in the process, but you also need the mobile app.

(22:17):
So I'm gonna give you an example. We're just gonna watch. Could
you pick a Disney movie, Joshplease? I mean, we were just
talking about Avengers on games, sowhy not perfect? So, well,
that's such a despressing movie. Let'sdo Avengers one. Anyway we're watching because
it kind of is this is theway it starts, you know, Hawkeye
and loses his kids and his family. This is awful. So we're just

(22:37):
gonna do Avengers one. So we'redoing Avengers one. If I want to
invite you, Josh, to watchthis movie with me, what I need
to do is because if I'm onmy television and I'm watching it through there,
I can invite you there. WhatI need to do is, while
I'm watching it on my television,I need to pick up my phone,
open up the app, go tothe movie tap group watch feature, and

(23:03):
invite you. When I invite you, I can send it by a text
message. And then once I sendthat text message, I have to start
the string even though I'm already watchingon my television. Okay, once I
start to string there, you thenhave to tap that link and start watching
it there. And then once we'vejoined the room there, we can now

(23:25):
push it to our televisions, whichis understandable, but it's awkward AF It's
really involved. It's too way toomany steps. So that tire just listening
to that, yeah, exactly,And it's not like it's just going to
be just that because depending on whereyou are, depending on the time,

(23:49):
you may not be able to justtap on that group watch feature. You
might have to try it a fewtimes. Though. While I am thankful
that this feature is here, thereare some issues, and very very I
mean I don't complain about much ifyou watch this show, there are a
few things that I did complain about. One of those things was why couldn't

(24:11):
Fox just sell X Men to Disney. I just didn't understand why that is.
I famously complained in spades. Butthat's in the past, now behind
me. I'm back to normal. This is weird. This is a weird
process, and I encourage you tocheck it out for yourself and let let
us know what you think. Imean, if you have an easier way,

(24:33):
or if you feel like it's notthat involved, please let me know.
I'd love to know. Yeah, tell us everything, tell us how
you feel about the feature, abouthow many cliques it took you to get
there. I want to hear allof it, all the statistics, because
if it's double digits, it's weneed to profess a problem. It's a

(24:55):
problem, that's absolutely But you know, the good news is that we will
be able to have group watch partieswith one division. Yes, and maybe
me and Mandalorian because I don't knowif you've actually watched you haven't still watched
that, you you Yeah, nevermind, We're just gonna just drop that.
Yeah, I've watched, but Ithink I have like three episodes left

(25:21):
and that was a year ago.Yeah, you haven't watched it. So
yeah, the new season is goingto be coming out this month. I'm
super excited. I'm glad that it'scoming out because we need something to light
anything at this point. So yeah, you know, again, I can't

(25:42):
really knock it. I mean, before the group watch feature, what we
had to do is start you know, a video chat, either through you
know, Skype or FaceTime or Zoomwhat have you, or even a phone
call, and we would all countup on the same time and we would
sink it down and like get readyto press play at the same time.

(26:07):
So it feels very like nineteen nineties, and that's not even what happened in
the nineties and the nineties. Thatwould just you know, hey, Josh,
come over, we'll just have amovie night. But in the pandemic,
we can't do that because you needto go see people and you're kidding,
yeah, you might die. Yeah, we don't do that here.

(26:27):
It's wrong with you we don't dothat here. Oh that makes me sad.
Yeah, as I said it,I was like, oh, it's
too much. Man. I immediatelythought of like the gift and just him
doing the motion and I'm like,oh, it's terrible anyway, So um,

(26:48):
so I mentioned one division real quick, What did you think of that
trailer? That trailer is crazy. That's exactly what's happening, and I love
it. I want to know, and it's just you don't want. Marvel
Studios has afforded the opportunity to besuper weird and cryptic and the air trailers
at this point, I mean, they don't have to tell me or spell
it out. You could be weird. Wanda, Vision, Wanda and Vision,

(27:11):
I should say, are beloved charactersat this point, and they have
such a following where they're allowed tobe weird and again cryptic, where the
fans are gonna want to see itanyway, and it's going to be enough
to want to get people who aren'tfamiliar with any of these characters. And

(27:32):
dare I say, never seeing anythingfrom Marvel Studios where they say like,
yeah, I think I want towatch this, yeah, and I'm excited
for it. Can I just tellyou how much of a nerd I am
right now? How much of anerd are you? So I watched that
trailer and I'm like, oh,this is great. I love it.
You know, Marvel New Get andgetting new things and everything like that.

(27:53):
So there's a point in the trailerwhere at the very like the beginning,
the first shot or the first fewshots, they're all in four by three
aspect ratio, and then as youknow, Wanda starts realizing and Vision starts
realizing something is weird is going on, the aspect ratio slowly turns into sixteen

(28:18):
by nine. I really really likedthat. I do too. It was
so cool because the first time Ididn't notice it, and then I watched
it again and I'm like, waita second, did they just switch formats?
Like as you know, they they'refiguring things out, like they're they're
realizing that they're not in this fiftiesera timeline. I'm like, that is

(28:41):
cool. That is just like reallycool detail. And I got a little
giddy when I saw that when Iwhen I finally realized it, like not
even the rest of the show, just the fact that they went from a
four by three aspect ratio to sixteenby nine. I was just like,
oh, that's so cool. Yeah, that's how much of a nerd I
am. I mean, listen, that's okay. I'm a fan of old
sitcoms. I'm a fan of youknow, I guess, sitcoms from like

(29:06):
the A's and nineties and some ofeven the new ones. So the fact
that they are going through them isI'm looking forward to it. I remember
watching with my mom the you knowI Love Lucy Dick Van Dyke. I
was a huge fan of those,I mean, and they were just so

(29:26):
hilariously funny. And you know,as I started going into like, you
know, the fifties, and youused to have a little bit of actually,
yeah, so I Love lusely cameout of like the mid fifties,
and I guess that's like the firstfamous one. It's definitely not the first
sitcom of its kind, but that'sthe one that kind of established sitcoms to

(29:47):
be, you know, the goto form of entertainment for people that lived
in that time, you know, and then you know, it established a
pattern that remained constant for decades thatwe're you know that we still kind of
follow today. CBS, you know, has always been very good. When

(30:07):
it comes to there, it comes. I mean, I'm pretty sure we
may have talked about, you know, the Big Bang theory, but you
know, before the Big Bang Theory, at the very beginning of it all
very much was you know, ILove Lucy so Dick Vandyke, you know,
Bewitched, you know, all ofthese shows, all of this stuff

(30:27):
is getting reference in Wan Division, and I watching the trailer, it just
kind of put me in this placesomething just like, man, I just
can't wait to see it, justfor the fact that they're referencing all of
this stuff. I don't know anythingabout the story, but just the fact
that they're referencing things that I likeis already going to be great. So,
you know, you get a littlebit of Bewitched in there, and

(30:48):
you know, they make references tolike Family Ties and Rosanne, you know,
in the eighties and nineties and someof the new ones, and then
they kind of leave that behind, and you know, they kind of give
you a tease about what that newstory it is that they're going to be
telling and what happens to them. You know, we know that Visions died

(31:10):
because they mentioned it directly in thetrailer. So I was like, Okay,
I thought Vision died, but youknow, I just wanted to know
if you know Vision. So it'slike, what, Yeah, so is
this a dream? Is this youknow, reality warping? Is this the
house of them? We don't know, but clearly they're aware and they wish

(31:30):
to entertain this. So I'm reallylooking forward to this. I've been waiting
for Marvels studio stuff for a longtime. Yeah, yeah, absolutely,
And I'm just like you, I'mjust so excited to learn and just to
watch and be be entertained and beingin this little mystery that they're trying to

(31:53):
solve or visions trying to solve inhis head, I guess maybe we don't
know or in Wanda's head, visitin their heads? Is it happening for
real? We shoul I can tellyou. It's just so vague. Don't
know, We don't we don't wedon't forget everything, you know, man,
Yeah, just forget it, Justforget it. So who knows?

(32:15):
Who knows what actually happens? Butstop doing that, just stop. But
Darcy is in there. There isa little tiny, you know, blurb
where you you see her in thebackground. Um, really good. Yeah,
when we got our first look atMonica Rambo, right Rambo, and

(32:39):
we see the nosy neighbor, butnot mentioned by name obviously, So however
you do see that, you knowshe's in all of those different you know
eras if you will, So whoknows. Again, I'm excited. I'm
very much excited. We need this, We absolutely need this. So what

(33:02):
else besides group watch with one divisionmovie delays? Yeah, so we got
some more Marvel stuff to talk about. I think most of this is going
to be Marvel from here on out, if I'm not mistaken. Okay,
we have our Miss Marvel. Wouldyou like to talk about that? I
would so, yes, I wouldlove to talk about that. So Miss

(33:27):
Marvel has finally been cast. Thisis a character that you know, Marvel
Studios has been talking about for avery long time. But it's really interesting
because as soon as they announced andwe knew that it was going to be
a Disney Plus series, and weknow that the Disney Plus TV series is
going to connect with the MCU movieseries in a way that the TV shows

(33:51):
have wished to connect. So youknow, it's been announced for a very
long time. Miss Marvel has finallybeen cast, and the name of the
person who's going to be playing itis Iman Villani. He's going to be
playing Kamalakan. She's a relative, you know, newcomer. She's from Canada.
That's pretty much all I know. There is some information, is it,

(34:15):
though, I don't know. Ifeel like there's a lot of Canadian
actors, which is awesome. It'sgreat, it's absolutely good. But I
just feel like every single time Ihear oh they got this person where they
from Canada, It's like, oh, well, that makes sense. They
produced great talent apparently, and they'reso close. They're like right there,
They're right there. It's like thereare half that's so weird. Anyways,

(34:38):
combook dot Com wrote here, theMarvel Cinematic universe has found this Kamalakan.
The upcoming Disney Plus series will startin Maana Vali in the Tittler role,
with the series expected to debut onthe streaming service in twenty twenty one.
Vilanie, however, could make herdebut as Miss Marvel ahead of the Miss
Marvel series in a titles slated torelease before it will, and will likely

(35:04):
go to appear in the Captain Marvelsequel schedule for twenty twenty two. Production
on the upcoming series is he expectedto begin in twenty twenty and introducing the
world to Chemicon and live action forthe first time after she appeared in the
pages of Captain Marvel Comics in twentythirteen. So she's a relatively new,
brand new character. But I doknow very much like Miles moralesm you know,

(35:28):
Miss Marvel and Spreader Glenn are younew characters that a lot of people
do love reading about. Though thefact that they're adapting these newer characters very
quickly into the live action properties isgreat. It shows their flexibility. And
I'll be honest with you, Ido like Chemalicon. You know, from

(35:49):
the time that you know, youand I have talked about the beta for
the Avengers game. He's a prettydope character. I'm I'm not gonna lie,
so, yeah, I don't knowmuch about her, but from what
I've seen from the Avengers beta, because I still have not yet purchased a
full game, I'll be talking aboutthat a little bit later. Why,
But yeah, I mean, she'scool. I like her. I like

(36:13):
the way that she was actually oneof the highlights of the beta forming her
character specifically, and I think Ijust I said that's, you know,
when we were talking about the betaearlier. But I think it's because I
don't know very much about her,and I don't know very much about what
she's capable of, and so thatalone made me intrigued and made me like

(36:34):
her from what I've seen, AndI feel like it's going to be the
same way when this you know,Disney Plus series eventually comes out, and
when she's eventually in the movies,I'm gonna like her more than likely because
I'm learning, along with everybody elsefor the first time about this character and
that kind of excites me that Idon't really know too much about, but
I'm so happy to learn about.Right, That's gonna be really cool.

(36:59):
I agree, And you know,I'm glad that they were getting news because
there's for a long time. Iwant to say, for the entire summer
twenty twenty, we weren't getting anything. I mean, we were just pretty
much just rewatching, just like oldercontent. And I mean we were in
kind of lockdown, so exactly nobodywas, you know, pretty much moving

(37:20):
or doing anything. But we knowthat most people were just like working from
home, most likely Marvel Studios isno different. So you know, Marvel
is this weird place because it isentertaining. And while we do love watching
the movies, for us, notonly did we like watching them, we
like discussing them. And news isalso this very important piece and segment of

(37:45):
it because when they drop news andthey have these events where they announced like
the new slate of movies for thenew phase, it's again that is entertaining
in its own right. We lovehearing about new news. So the fact
that they've been trickling this down forus is just fantastic. I'm just glad
to hear it. So absolutely so. Jas So we talked about miss Marvels.

(38:12):
He talks about one division. Yesthere was another cast or a Marvel
character cast as well. M You'reright, that is the one known as
she Hulk. Finally, we arefinally, finally going to be getting that
She Hulk series, and She Hulkis going to be played by none other

(38:32):
than Tatiana Muslanim. You know whoshe is. Have you seen her before?
I have not to be completely honestwith you, but I do know
that originally the I guess the personwho was rumored to be cast in it
was none other than Alison Bree Fora long time, she was rumored to

(38:52):
be attented to it and we thoughtthat it was all but just had to
be announced. But the fact thatTatiana has been cast, it's otherwise.
So unless it's officially announced, Imean, anything can happen. So yeah,
if you're unaware of who Tatanamizalami is, you should really really check out
a show called Orphan Black. Sheis amazing in a show I watched the

(39:17):
first two seasons. I think there'slike four total or five. It's from
BBC. She is amazing because sheplays at least what like four or five
different characters in an episode sometimes becausebasically it's based on her. She's a

(39:37):
clone essentially, and so she playsthese different clones and different with different personalities.
One's just like a normal person. One's like somebody who's kind of like
like the party scene type of girland stuff like that. One's like this
techy, like low grade girl. It's like very very differ for personalities across

(40:00):
all of them, and she doesan amazing job trying to differentiate each character
and the way that she acts acrosslike from herself essentially, is just like
incredible. So I am very excitedto see what she brings to the Shehawk
role because I really think she's She'sa really great actress. So I'm excited

(40:21):
to see what's going to become ofit. Have you seen her in anything?
I happened to be completely honest withyou, but you know, I
guess this is the part of theentertainment part that I like about news dropping
for you know, Marvel Studios.I mean, I don't mean for this
to be sad news, but youknow, we were talking about it before

(40:45):
with Bozeman, where you know, when Chavi Boseman was announced to play back
Panther. I mean I remember distinctlychatting with you about this and saying,
like, yo, Jebi Boseman hasbeen passed. I know him that personally,
but like I know of the moviesthat he had been in, and
so just hearing that, you know, he was going from forty two to

(41:07):
Black Panther, I was just like, I can't wait. I cannot wait
to see what else he's gonna do. I think at that point he had
done not only forty two Jackie Robinson, but he was also in Get On
Up playing James Brown. So forthose two monumental movies for me and to
see him move to Black Panther,I was ready. But for you,

(41:31):
you know, you saw that newsand said, I don't know really know
too much about him, but youknow I know him. So because you
know Jason knows him, I'm excited. And if you decide to go back,
you can see you have a referencepoint. Now, you know what
I'm saying. This is how weget to know more movies just because of

(41:52):
all the connections that are being maderight exactly. So, I'm not familiar
with Orphan Blake. I have heardof it, but you know, if
you give it a good review,I'm gonna go back and see how I
can stream it, hopefully because Idon't feel like paying for it. Obviously,
what was it on Hulu? I'mtrying to remember. I'm trying to
remember why I watched it might havebeen off the BBC app Honestly, I

(42:13):
mean, I'm gonna and I'm talking, and I'm due for a rewatch too,
because I don't think I've watched thefinal season, so I need to
needly need to rewatch it. Ilove shows that i've ended because that allows
me to like plan like, Okay, if there's only four seasons, I
can just I can plan my lifeand say like, hey, it's done.
It's not like the Simpsons. Likethe Simpsons is still long, and

(42:34):
while it's great, it's over suretyone seasons. That's a lot of seasons.
It's a lot. It's a lotto watch. But now, Jays,
yes, we're gonna talk about we'regonna talk about something. Let's talk
about it. We're gonna talk aboutsome big news that happening here. And
it's big news because you know,it's obviously due to my boy. Anyway,

(43:04):
So we had some Spider Man threenews drop. Yeah, and I
was not expecting this at all.I don't think anybody was like, like,
how are they going to pull thisoff? I don't know how they're
gonna do this, but can wejust drop the news? Let's drop the
news. Yeah. So the newswas that Spider Man three is going to

(43:28):
have Electro as it's villain or avillain. We don't know if he's the
main one or not. But that'snot the big news. No, no,
no, no, James, no, no no. The big news
is that Jamie Fox is coming backto reprise him. Yes, Jamie Fox,
who did Electro in The Amazing SpiderMan two. Right, Uh what,

(43:52):
I don't think that's a very goodrepresentation of the response. Yeah.
So so here's the thing. Letme clarify by saying is I'm not saying
what because of Jamie Fox specifically becauseI like him right right? Like Jamie

(44:13):
Fox is great. I love himas an actor. He doesn't great work
exactly, he does great work. The man is a genius. Um.
However, the way not the waythat he portrayed it, because he was
only doing it the way he wasdirected and written to do it right.
But his Electro, well, Iliked it. That's the problems. It's

(44:37):
my birthday. That's the light ofmy candles. It's my birthday. Oh
my gosh, that's two references rightthere. Um. Yeah, like Max
Dylon in that movie was not necessarilythe greatest. They underutilized him so much,
but I did like Electro, doyou need help? Yes? I

(45:00):
need your outbacks, I need yourhelp. Now you need help? That
scene. Every single time I watchedthat scene him, like, what were
Mark Webb? What were you doingduring during that scene? Were you were
you at lunch? Did you notwant them to reshoot that he needs my
help. It's like, this isn'ta romance movie. The man is made

(45:24):
of electricity. Um, but yeah, I mean, I'm not gonna lie.
I like The Amazing Spider Man too. I know it has many flaws,
but I enjoy the film so waitingcomplete side note, My favorite scene
in my favorite scene, I'm talkingabout a scene that I just made fun
of every single time Spider Man defeatsElectro. Hey, he's done. Yes,

(45:49):
you're about to celebrate, and literallyjust just sneaks from left to right
right onto the scene, like hejust shows up there, just legitimately an
awkward pause that's in the scene.I was just like, is anybody gonna
say anything? That's my favorite part, the pause when you just see Spider

(46:14):
Man just looking at him and healready has the big eyes, so you're
already he's already like the hell isthis? He's the audience at that point,
He's like, no, you're here. Did he tilts his head in
that seat? I think he tiltedhis think he does. I think he's
just like ah and then wait andthe best part is he he flies down

(46:37):
from the top, so he seeseverything that he's flying down towards right.
He looks in Spider Man and thenhe turns around and he sees quite stacy
and then he goes, oh,you betrayed me. I like, Dandy

(46:59):
hand killed it. I was.I was in the theater and I literally
fell on the floor. Fell onthe floor of the opening night. So
did I, so did. Isaw it was actually a mutual friend,
and I was just like, sothat was super weird. I left that

(47:22):
movie and I was like, Oh, that was a fun movie. And
then I thought about it a littlebit more. I'm like, that was
not good. Like, as aSpider Man fan, no, that was
not that great. Yeah you soyou feel exactly how I felt about X
Men and Days of Future Bad.Like I legitimately got out of that movie
and everyone was just like, no, man, that movie was great.

(47:42):
I was like, excuse me,were we watching the same thing? They
were like, oh, why didn'tyou like a Jason? I feel like
that's a different story. No it'snot. I'm telling it. So I
attend pretty much getting into this whois my favorite character? Say it?
Say it? Thank you? Bischef. Absolutely is happening in that film.

(48:08):
It was the first fifteen minutes ofthat film. The first fifteen minutes.
I was just like, okay,so this is how we're starting this.
This is awful. This is abishop. But anyway, hopefully he'll get
his dues when once they joined themc oh, let's hope, let's hope.

(48:28):
Yeah hopefully. Um but yeah,so Jamie Fox is coming back as
a leftro and I didn't know this, so I read this in the comments.
Um you know once you know, the Marvel studios read it went in
a blaze. One of this newseveryone and everyone was pretty much saying the
same thing, like, yo,Jamie Fox is great, but yeah,

(48:49):
he was just given a really crappydeal right with with that movie. And
apparently one of the people who alsolike Jamie Fox in the role was Kevin
Figi. And in a long timeago when the Sony leaked emails came out,
this is years ago. Now,this is back what twenty fourteen.
I love it when you give contextthis please just this is the good news.

(49:12):
This is yeah, please give methe context. So in those leak
emails to Sony, there was someemails back and forth. They were asking
Kevin Figi's advice on the Amazing Spiderman too, And when one of those
things was about Jamie Fox being Electroand Kevin FIGI was like, no,
yeah, no, that's a greatcasting choice for Electro. He's really really
great for it. I don't necessarilylike the way he's written, but Jamie

(49:36):
Fox is great so and we allknow how the movie turned out obviously,
so I think Kevin or Kevin Figor whoever ultimately made the call to cast
him. I'm sure he had somesay in it. Maybe was like,
hey, let's let's give him anothershot and do it for real this time.
And I don't think, and it'salready been said as well. I

(50:00):
think Jamie Fox was the one thatsaid it that he's not going to be
blue like he was in the soyeah, the movie, which means he's
not going to be based off theultimate version of him, which is what
he was based off of an Amazonrepartiment too, But we don't know the
ultimate universe. He's blue, right, but we don't know that for sure.
And the reason why this is allinteresting is because the news dropped in

(50:20):
the trade report, so Hollywood Reporterfirst reported it. Yeah, and then
you know, so we know it'slegitimate, right, So because Hollywood Reporter
would not do like a clickbait article, right, it's not we got discovered
dot com? Oh my god, definitely not if they you know what,
it's funny about this, If theywould have report, it would have been
like absolutely not immediately, but it'sfunny we've got discovered. Nah's right,

(50:46):
But Hollywood Reporter, are you serious? Oh my god. Yeah, So
we got this news, and clearlywe got this news because we didn't even
talk about this. They actually saidthat the villain that's going to be in
ant Man three is going to beKing of the Conqueror, which is supposedly
supposed to be this new villain that'sgoing to be, you know, replacing

(51:07):
Fanos as the big bad for likethe next series of movies. And a
person that they are casting is goingto be Jonathan Majors, who is in
Lovecraft Country that's on HBO Max.I don't know if you've seen that.
I started watching that. It's actuallya fantastic show and he's a fantastic actor.
So I'm really excited to see exactlyhow that's going to do. Like

(51:29):
what's he going to look like? What is what is he gonna do?
You know, what is his goal, How is he replacing Fanos as the
new Big Bad. I just justso many questions that are there. So,
you know, like all of thosenews has been coming out, So
when you know this came from youknow, Hollywood reporter, we all started

(51:49):
just thinking like, hey, listen, Jamie Foxx is gonna be coming back.
It's just going to be mentioning, you know, like hey, is
this you know, there's gonna bethe Spider Verse movie. Like who knows
what's actually going to be happening becauseSpider Man three, the sequel to Far
from Home, is already pretty filledwith what could potentially happen. I mean,
Peter Parker has already been ousted,so who knows where we go from

(52:12):
here? And then Jamie foxxywn onInstagram and then he said seemingly confirmed that
he actually is going to be electro, and he mentioned that he's not going
to be blue. So if he'snot going to be blue, that usually
means if he's not blue, he'sprobably going to be yellow. We don't
really know yet, because I meanI would hope he's going to wear his

(52:35):
classic green and yellow costume. That'dbe cool, right, something similar to
it, But what's really interesting isthat he posted a lot of fan art,
and the first fan art was himin a cloud that was in the
distance and there's three Spider Men inthe forefront, so you really can't see
the Spider Man but their master offand it kind of looks like Miles.

(52:57):
But it could also be Peter Parkerfrom the Ultimate Universe, the Original Universe
and could you know, But itcould be the Movie Universe. It could
be Andrew Garfield, it could beTom Holland, and it could be like,
we don't know this, do you? So? Endgame I'm gonna say
this right now. Endgame was quitepossibly one of the biggest nerd moments for
me, right because we had allthese superheroes together. We had the culmination

(53:21):
that's a big story. And oneof my favorite moments obviously is when you
see Spidy swing out and come outand I'm like, cool, my boy
Spider Man is playing with all ofthese Marvel characters, right yas I don't
know what I would do with myselfif I go and watch a movie where

(53:44):
I see Toby McGuire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland all standing right next
to each other in a live actionSpider Verse movie. I think it might.
I don't know what I would do. Yeah, you might explore it.
It just don't know what I woulddo. Yeah, you might explode,
you might cry a little. Youmight also be a little. I
don't know. Like I think,I'm just gonna give you your moment.

(54:07):
I'm just gonna stand away and letyou do your thing. Like I was
hyped as hell when I saw aCivil War and he showed up for the
first time. When it just saidQueens right in the beginning or right at
that moment, I was like,Queens, what are you talking about the
trailer? I couldn't even talk toyou for the trailer. Well, I
mean the trailer is one thing, but actually seeing the film right, like
seeing the movie and Queens pops upand I'm like, all right, let's

(54:31):
go. And finally this is officiallyI have Spider Man with the rest of
these characters, and then to seehim in Infinity War, to see him
in game, and then if Iget this seeing the three of them together,
and then if they for whatever reason, cast somebody to be a live

(54:52):
action Miles Morales on top of that, dude, Oh, I I don't
know what I would do. Yeah, I don't know what I would do
either. It would be I don'tknow, man, It's just it's it's
interesting. Also, And the reasonwhy I say that is because I'm thinking
about, you know, Donald Gloverand how he was rumored to be Spider

(55:15):
Man and everyone lost their s overit. Like they they were like,
no, he can't be blah blahblah blah blah. And you know,
he gets gasted in Homecoming and heplays you know, the uncle of Males
Morales not I mean, but likeit's not explicitly said. So the fact

(55:36):
that they're literally putting everything together intothis one universe that's the MCU, it's
just you know, bonkers. Tome, it's absolutely bonkers. So yeah,
it's this myself up too much becauseit's gonna be too amazing. It's
gonna be amazing, it's gonna beultimate, it's gonna be spectacular. It's

(55:57):
gonna be spectacular, it's gonna beway, it's gonna be it's gonna be
all the things. Peter Parker, what are the subtitles? Ooh, it's
gonna be sensational. That's gonna besuperior, Yeah, superior. Oh dude,
if I had Superior SPI. Yes, oh, Superior is special,

(56:20):
super special, Like I don't wantto mess with Superior. Do you know
what I want? Now I'm sayingall these words. I want Scarlet Spider,
I want Ben Riley. I thinkyou might we might just get it
all at this point, Dude,if I got Ben Riley live action,
let's go, dude, that thatcostume. I don't care what anybody says.
I like Ben Riley, I likehis cousin and Riley costume. Yeah.

(56:42):
Hell um, so yeah, Imean I'm super excited and you're super
excited. I think we're all superexcited for this, right. Yeah,
I cannot wait for all this. But that's not all the Spidy news that
we got. It isn't. Sonot only did that news drop, we
also had another news drop for theSpider Man remaster on PS five that's coming
out, and uh, you know, they showed off some gameplay and I

(57:08):
was like, oh, this islooking really good. A lot of reflections.
I mean, reflections are all therage on the next generation, fairly,
but no, the animations are alot are a lot of crisper,
smoother, and they're you know, full four K sixty frames. It's really
really awesome, and you can definitelytell if you look at screenshots from PS

(57:28):
four to PS five, it's it'sa big upgrade. Yeah, and then
we also learned about, you know, load times have been reduced obviously because
it's on the sist. Do youthink that they might actually add puddles now
they might and you know what, they might be reflective on top of a
context? So context, what wasit? Right before the release of the

(57:50):
game, they put out a finaltrailer for it, well, actually before
that, at the E three trailer, they had like a section of the
game being played. Um, it'sa big section where you're chasing Martin Lee's
helicopter and all this stuff, right, but there's an area that you're fighting
some of his minions in and there'spuddles and whatnot, and everything looks super

(58:12):
like high def like it did onPS four, And in the final game,
those puddles are gone, Like everythingelse is there, but the puddles
are gone for whatever reason, andeveryone's like, oh, this game isn't
that great. You can't even renderpuddles, blah blah blah, and it
became this weird, stupid thing, like I don't understand it. Became.
It's like it's like they remove thepuddles. So what I think is that

(58:36):
a big deal? Like that isthat a thing? And I just hope
that there's extra puddles everywhere just soeveryone shuts up for the PS five master,
Like insomnia is like, oh youwant puddles, There's gonna be a
puddle in the sky for no reason. It's like, what walls, puddles
on walls everything. You look outin the Hudson Ripper, there's a puddle

(58:59):
on the Hudson River. Let's go, what what am I looking at?
How does that work? I don'tknow. That's just water on top of
water, so it would just bewater. I don't know. Hey,
bro, I heard you like water, So I got water for your water.
Seven out of ten. Too muchwater anyway. Anyways, but that's

(59:20):
not the big news. Apparently nottalking about the big news is uncharacteristically because
we talk about movies and we talkabout casting, and occasionally we might talk
about recasting, but this is adifferent type of recast. Yeah, so
its recasting. Yeah. So essentiallywhat happened was insomniac redid the face model

(59:46):
of Peter Parker or the spider ManPS five remaster, Right, So he
looks different, completely different. Helooks younger. Actually, it looks like
Tom Poland he does. He honestlydoes look a little bit more like Tom
Holland. And I don't know theexact reason for this change, and all

(01:00:10):
honestly, I really liked the waythat he looked in Spider Man PS.
Four. Not that I'm saying Idon't necessarily like the new look either,
but it's just that, well,I've been, I've seen that face.
I've been, you know, playingas him this entire time. Well technically
not which we'll get to that ina second, um, but like,

(01:00:31):
I'm used to that Peter Parker alreadywith Urie Londall's voice, and whenever I
hear that Urie Londall Spider Man,now, I will see that Peter Parker
face. So it's going to bea little weird to get used to this
one. But at the same time, what I just mentioned was you don't
really play as Peter Parker much inthe game. You're always Spider Man in

(01:00:53):
a mask, so the only timesyou're really gonna see that model is in
cut scenes, obvious, right,But still it's like, all right,
well, I'm gonna have to getused to used to the new look.
That being said, I don't mindthe new look, like he looks fine.
They actually looks a little younger andwhatnot. But you know it still

(01:01:15):
looks okay, yeah, what Ihave preferred that they didn't change it,
Yes, but fine, they changeit to whatever. Yeah, what do
you think? Ah? So thisis actually going to go back well for
a while now, because like SpiderMan has always been a character that I
liked, he wasn't always my favoritecharacter. I was always obviously, as

(01:01:36):
you know, I'm a bigger XMen fan than Spider Man. But that
doesn't mean that I dislike Spider Man. But Peter Parker is always because like
I get Spider Man, I getit. I know his foes, I
know his powers, I know hisdeal, I know his story. But
when it comes to Peter Parker,I've always struggled with how he looked.
And this has been from like theoriginal box cartoons, like Fox Kids,

(01:02:00):
from like the nineties, like I'mused to seeing him. But even when
I was first saw Peter Parker, you know, walking in the streets going
to school, talking with Hunt May, he always looked weird to me.
I was like I always had thismoment where I would look at it and
say like, okay, so that'sPeter Parker. And it wasn't like no,

(01:02:22):
like it's strange, Like I wouldknow that if I'm looking at you
know, Scott Summers Cyclops, like, Okay, that's him. If I'm
looking at Logan, that's him.If I'm looking at Professor Xavier, I'm
like, okay, that's him.Eric Glencher, same thing. But Peter
Parker I always had to like Ihad to get used to it. And

(01:02:43):
I don't know why that is.But after that, when they started making
new Spider Man stuff, I'm like, Okay, that's Peter Parker. But
there was always this moment that Ialways had to get over this hurdle.
So consequence, you know, thatwas the late nineties. You know,
the Sony buys the rights to youknow, do Spider Man movies and then

(01:03:07):
they make the announcement they say, same RAMI is going to be, you
know, directing the movies. I'msuper excited. I'm like evil dam it
is awesome. I really liked thatmovie Dark Man. I remember that movie.
When that came out, I waslike, yeah, this is gonna
be great. I can't wait tosee it. And then they cast it
Toby maguire and I'm looking at himand I'm like, yeah, that's okay,

(01:03:30):
Okay, that's that's so that's peopleI would say. Yeah, I
say the same thing every single time. So, you know, Toby McGuire,
you know, I'm like again afterthe end of that movie, and
I was like, okay, yeah, yeah, that's that's Toby McGuire.
It's Peter Parker. And then afterthe third movie, Sony Son, you

(01:03:51):
know, then they cast Andrew Garfieldand I'm looking at him like, oh,
okay, that's d Parker. Likeit's this weird moment. It's always
dis urtled that I have to getover every single time, right, same
thing with Tom Holland, same thing. Iduced this moment. I just stared
at his picture and I'm like, okay. So before I said it,

(01:04:15):
I was like, so he's young, he's very very young, but that's
okay, that's it's it's Peter Parker. So now it's happening in games,
and it happened with the PS fourLike I remember playing the game, I
remember watching like the trailers and stufflike that. I'm like, oh,
yeah, he looks weird. Sothis is this is Peter Parker. It

(01:04:38):
happens again, Like, dude, every single time they show Peter Parker,
he always looks weird to me atfirst, but it only lasts for like
a day. It's only a day, and then it's fine. You just
have a problem looking at Peter Parker'sface and for only a minute. It's
only for a minute, but thenhe puts on the mass. Oh you're
fine. Yeah, he's fine. He's like okay, yeah, he's doing

(01:04:59):
Spider Man stuff. And then thefine and you're okay, yeah, he
puts on the mass. He's fine. Like when he first like he's walking
in school, like Tobey maguire wasso weird. Like I just had this
moment where I was just like Idon't I'm like, I don't know how
I feel about this. This ismaking me uncomfortable. This is grown man
in high school that made you uncomfortable. What about when freaking what's his name

(01:05:21):
flash came out? Ye got leftback like ten years. That's actually characteristic
for how bullies work. I mean, okay, so you're gonna give them
a for casting truthfully, yeah, absolutely. It's also dead shot now,
so that's even makes it even better, right, is he still dead shot?

(01:05:41):
That's a different story. Well,you know, we'll find out that's
a different story altogether. Let's let'sfind out next year when you know Snyder
Cut comes out because you don't know, God, oh my god, imagine
he's into Snyder Cut. Oh thatwould be so good. That would actually
be really dope. Anyway, anyway, we're really getting ahead of us.
So yeah, so yeah, i'dsay that to say that the new change.

(01:06:04):
I'm used to this by now,Like I just it is what it
is at this point, Like everyone'slike super and like people are acting super
strange. I'm sure they're like threateningpeople, like they're gonna find you know,
the lead developer of and I'm like, are you serious? People,
Like you're threatening people's lives. Don'tdo that, people, if you listen
to the show, like go outsideand for a walk. Please. Here's

(01:06:27):
the thing, Like I've said,it's established I am a freaking Spider Man
fanatic at this point. Right, they changed his space, do you know
what I said? I was like, I don't know why they changed it,
but okay, cool, Right that'swhat I did. Yeah, that's
all I did. How about this, I'm gonna I'm gonna win up here
because I always have to. Ialways have to do that. I'm sometimes

(01:06:49):
competitive. So Days the Future Pass. Oh Bishop's dude, I'm so excited.
Bishop's gonna be in there. I'mso pumped. Oh Oh, that's
that's that's that's Bishops roll. He'sjust a time traveling that kick, and
he's not coming back for the restof the film. He that's it.
That's that's okay, And the creditsare rolling. So, Jase, what

(01:07:12):
do you think about the movie?Taste the Future past? Um, it's
not my favorite. I don't likeit very much. That it, that's
it. That's that's it. I'mnot going to threaten the director. I
mean, you didn't try to killBrian Singer, Like you didn't try to

(01:07:33):
like strangle him to death. Whatnow? What is wrong with you?
You're not a true fan? JhNo, I promise you. I don't
care, like I don't like howdo you? I don't understand how you
can think because you don't like theway a fictional character looks or heck,

(01:07:54):
going back to the whole last ofUs to buncle, what a fictional character
does to an other fictional character. How you can threaten the live the lives
of real people? Can you tellme don't understand the correlation? Witness dand

(01:08:15):
today. Yeah, I threatened thedirector because he speared up a game that
I'm really passionate about. Yeah, those polygons on screen there, those Yeah,
those are the ones I'm upset about. Like, I just don't understand.
Like again, I understand you're passionateabout a certain thing, Like that's
fine and dandy, but like, don't threaten somebody's life because of it.

(01:08:42):
Like, sure, Spider Man meansa whole lot to me. Then you
know, people realize. But atthe same time, I'm not gonna go
and be like, you messed uphis face now I'm gonna mess up yours
for real and like what, no, Like why would you do that?
Yeah, So it's actually really interesting. There was a There was a because

(01:09:05):
on Twitter, I'm always on Twitter, there was a tweet by I'm going
to just reference it here, soif this person's actually watching this podcast for
some reason in shape or form,I hope you enjoy the call out.
But it's from at tweet each gamesand the tweet said I needed to understand

(01:09:30):
that Peter wasn't a great character inPeters four Spider Man because of his face.
It was because he was wrote well, imagine sending death threats to Dev's
over something that ultimately means nothing. He's still the exact same character, not
being weirdos. And then somebody madea response saying, don't know why I
read this in Michael Keaton's voice,and I don't know why, but it's

(01:09:57):
true. As soon as I rereadthat, I was like, yeah,
I could totally read that in MichaelKeaton's voice. It's perfect. I'm gonna
have to think about that. Thatwas true. Just think about it.
It's from the scene uh in Homecomingwhen Peter Parker and the homemate suit comes
in and it was just like,I found you. You're done, You're

(01:10:18):
over, He goes, I needyou to understand that Peter wasn't a great
character in pas four Spider Man becauseyeah, I Wael Keaton like that,
but I get it. He soundedlike that in my head. You got
the point across, Yeah, Igot the point. That's all I'm trying

(01:10:39):
to do here. I'm just tryingto get to the point across. I'm
not a voice that makes sense. That makes sense. Oh you know what?
Now much homecoming? Yeah? Thereyou go. Man, he was
so good. He's gonna be morrebious, Yes, he is. I keep
forgetting about that fact. We wouldhave we would have understood the significance of
him being in morbious by now,I know we should. Why did they

(01:11:00):
do that? I don't know. All right, So we got one last
thing to talk about before we getout of here. And it's gonna be
a quick little blurb, is it? Yeah? I think so. I
don't think so. It might be. We'll find out here. So the
last thing on our docket is umPS five and Xbox Series X and S

(01:11:20):
pre orders went up last week asof this recording, or two weeks ago.
Now it feels like last week, last last week, two weeks ago
almost, But I don't know.I can't keep track of time. It's
been like eighty four years since we'vedone an episode. Um, that's a
difference. And so they went up. We couldn't get one the first wave

(01:11:45):
anyway. I tried for PS five, did not try for Xbox because I
realized it doesn't make sense for me. You tried, No is not happening.
Yeah, And neither of us inthe first wave could get any I
think we did mention this Sony sayingthat, hey, we screwed up the
pre orders and we're sorry about thatand all that stuff, and they sent

(01:12:11):
out another wave of pre orders, this time alerting people beforehand. And I
was actually lucky enough to receive oneof those invitations. Aren't too. So
I was able to pre order myAPS five from Sony directly along with a
along with Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. So November twelfth, I will be here

(01:12:38):
playing Moles Morales on my PS fiveand I can't wait. So is it
Miles Morales? Are you going toplay the Ultimate Edition? First? O't
I'm going. I'm jumping straight intoMiles Morales because I've played the crap out
of spiderm NPS four and I wantnew content. So I will immediately diving
into Miles Morales. After I diveinto Miles Morales, though, I will
then dive into remaster and then I'vedecided against my bitter judgment, but I've

(01:13:05):
decided Replatinum spider An MPs four onPS five. I don't know why I'm
doing this to myself, but Idon't That doesn't even make sense. Why
would you do that because they addednew trophies so they're different from the one.
I really think there's something wrong withyou, so I'm gonna redo it.

(01:13:27):
I think you have a problem thatyou need to do it. I
think you have a problem, andI'm gonna have to do those screw ball
challenges again. You have a problem. You have Taskmaster ones weren't that bad,
but the screw Ball ones are reallybad. You have a problem.
But yeah, so then I'm gonnaI'm gonna do that one, and then

(01:13:49):
I'm of course gonna platinum Miles Morns. I'm planning. I'm on Miles Marinless
being my one hundred platinum. We'llsee if I do it. I wish
you all the best, I reallydo, thank you. I took a
month hiatus from getting trophies, soI'm slowly getting back. I got a
few trophies the other day, soalmost close to doing BioShock. That's gonna

(01:14:14):
be fun or right? Odo wasgonna be quick? That's it about pre
orders? Yeah, that's yeah.I didn't get it, so hopefully i'll
get it on launch day. Imean yeah, so that was that was
my plan, right, So myplan was. If I didn't get that
email was going to be I takeoff of work from on November twelve,

(01:14:35):
and if they had a midnight release, I would have gone to that.
If they didn't have a midnight releasedue to like public health and safety,
I would have been traveling from bestBuy to Walmart to whatever to see if
any retailers had it opening day oropening Yeah, released day, that was
going to be my whole day.But now then I'm good. I still

(01:14:57):
took off that day to play it, but but yeah, I don't have
to worry about that now. Sothat's pretty much what you're gonna do.
You're just gonna try to go toa few different best spots and see if
they have it. Probably, Imean, you know, obviously I have
no intention of camping out because I'mgonna grow up and I just don't want
to do that. I'm gonna findout. I just they'll find out what

(01:15:18):
they're doing, and you know,if you start lining up in the in
the morning, then yeah, I'llget there in the morning. You know.
That's what happened. I remember waitinga line for one of the Nintendo
Classic systems. I had a dayoff and I was able to get there.

(01:15:38):
Yeah, I got there. OnceI got my ticket, I was
able to just come back anytime duringthe day, you know, before the
store actually opened, and then youknow, I went home, just carried
on by day before the store closed. It just came in and picked it
up. Oh, hopefully they dothat. I'm imagining with COVID. It's

(01:16:00):
going to be a little, youknow, along the same lines where they're
like they don't want people lining upoutside the mall. So hopefully they have
like a few system hopefully, Sowe'll find out. We'll see what happens.
Yeah, fair enough. But oncewe both get ours, well,
we're definitely gonna, you know, talk about both features. We're gonna talk

(01:16:20):
about everything and see if the systemwas worth upgrading for which I think it
will be. But we'll definitely doa review of Miles Morales because you're also
picking that up, right, Yeah, I'm picking up everything. I'm picking
up Avengers because I didn't pick itup for the PS four And I'm thinking
at this point, because I'm playingKingdom Hearts, I'm playing Mario three D

(01:16:42):
All Stars, so it doesn't makesense for me to get a PS four
game because then I'm gonna be bouncingin between like ten games. It doesn't
make any sense, world, Yeah, it doesn't make sense. So I'm
skipping on Tony Hawk, I'm skippingon of Vengers. I'm just going to
be playing these like seven to tengames and then once I fin and I'm

(01:17:05):
almost done with Birth by Sleep, which isn't you know, phenomenal so far
told you Yeah, I didn't denyit at all. I just I know,
but I'm just like, you know, I'm like, hey, this
is a great game. Yeah,so I think I've said it on the
podcast, but I put Birth bySleep like on par with two in my

(01:17:27):
mind. Yeah, yeah, twois still definitely up there. Birth by
Sleep has you know, gone fromobscurity to like, yeah, this is
definitely a contender for like maybe topfive, probably top five. His Kingdom
Hearts two is up there, KingdomHearts three is definitely up there. Kingdom
Hearts one just because it started thewhole series. Channa Memories is really low

(01:17:50):
on the list. I've actually foundwant to talk about Train of Memories.
I actually found my my game BoyAdvanced and my game parts for that system,
so I want to see which oneI'm actually playing them side by side
and seeing like which one did Ido better in? So we'll see I'll

(01:18:12):
see um. But yeah, sowe'll definitely talk about all that once once
we're good. Yeah. Absolutely. Is there anything else that we need to
talk about before we wrap up?I think we're good. Bro cool,
cool and the gang. So thanksso much for tuning in. I'll tell
you what. If you like whatwe had to say, you can follow
