Meta is Collecting What?-JACKED UP DAILY!

In this episode Tim talks about Meta and its possible collecting of Direct Messages and more starting December 16th, 2025.
  • Meta is updating how it uses AI interactions — starting December 16, 2025, your chats with Meta’s chatbot (voice or text) will help determine what ads and content you see.
  • Why this is a big deal: It’s not just likes/follows anymore — what you say to AI counts.
  • Personal framing: What does that mean for users’ privacy? For Meta’s business model?

This is Captain water En.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
That's right, And today's episode, Judy talks about let us
collecting your thought, selecting your mission, collecting all of your
solcial media and your direct message. Is is this really
going to happen or is this just another spear topic

(01:42):
going around, a fear rumor going around. Oh maybe this
is fake news. Wow, we'll find out to say, oh
will we Maybe you're just out and.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
What is true?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
It was as fake?

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Well here's too.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
Like all right, thank you Captain Leif Walker for that introduction.
Appreciate it. And why don't you come back to earth here? Okay,
hey everybody, I'm Tim Parrish. Welcome to Jacked Up Daily,
and I am your host for today. And today we're

(02:24):
going to be discussing something that might be happening on
December sixteenth. We'll get into that apparently soon. It's going
to be about well, you know, meta Facebook, social media
and itself. I have it, you have it. We all
pretty much have it. Who is you know who has

(02:45):
a cell phone or smartphone? We've got something like that.
Whether you use Facebook or Twitter, X, Tikki talk, you know,
you name it. Some of you might use it all.
Some of you might only use one of them. But
y'all got something, okay, and I use a lot of
them because of the show a lot. You know, we

(03:07):
have X for the show. We're on Facebook. You know,
let's see what else we have. Don't think we have
I don't think we have a Instagram, but we have Facebook,
we have Twitter X, we have TikTok. I think those

(03:29):
are the three main ones that we look into. Hey, yeah,
we got Gmail too, you know, let's get jacked up
at Gmail dot com if you want to, you know,
write to us. But anyways, my whole thing here is
starting December sixteenth, apparently Meta is going to go into
your direct messages, your DMS and read them, so your

(03:52):
messages won't be private anymore, supposedly. Now I'm going to
read something in a few minutes that might oppose that thinking.
But first I want you to hear a clip from
this show Facebook called the Jimmy Door Show, and this

(04:13):
is a topic that he was talking on, and so
I just want to play some clips of him talking
about it and then we'll talk about it. So this
is his show, that Jimmy Door Show dr.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Starting December sixteenth, Meta will start reading your dms, every conversation,
every photo, every voice message, fed into AI and used
for profit.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
See here's the.

Speaker 7 (04:41):
Guess what.

Speaker 8 (04:43):
Facebook Meta is reading your messages? I think I'm kidding.
Meta FBI, insta WhatsApp will read your dms and AI chats.
This is going to be rolling out in December. Social
media giant Meta is about to start reading users conversations,

(05:06):
including messages and chats with its AI with doubt, other
than not to use their platforms, which include Facebook, Instagram,
and WhatsApp, which provides no option to turn its AI off.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (05:22):
So the reason why people use WhatsApp is because they
think it's private, right, It's not, turns out metas reading
your messages. That's why I use a signal, which I'm
sure they can get into signal. I'm sure they can't.
There's no privacy. This data access will start in most

(05:43):
of the world on December sixteenth, though in the EU
and UK, which have stricter data protection laws, it will
start later, apparently on March fourth of next year.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
I questioned that part because the UK seems to be Look,
I don't know, I don't live there, but it seems
from from America, from Afar, and you guys can correct
me if I'm wrong. It seems like they have been
taking away rights faster than America has. But that I
don't know, that's just me from Afar. So there you go. Uh, interesting,

(06:20):
isn't it now? I have used what's app, I don't
I don't know i've I don't use anymore. I don't
see the point to it. And there's some other ones
I can't think of that I've used, and it's just like, ah,
I don't really need them. I don't use them, and
I even use telegram, but I couldn't really figure that
one out too well, so I got rid of that one.

(06:43):
So you know, I've used all these things and I'm
thinking all the whole lines. It's like, oh, yeah, it's
supposed to be safe. And look, here's the bottom line
as far as I'm concerned. If the government wants to
crack into your social media, then they're going to do
it no matter what. There's no privacy. So whether this

(07:03):
becomes law or not, uh, it really doesn't matter because
unless you catch them and take them to court on it, okay,
then then you might win. But how are you going
to catch them unless they drag you out of your
house for some reason, you know, like they they have
tried to do right in the UK, maybe not drag

(07:24):
people out of their house, but they've given given them
fines for being the thought police. Right they the thought
police goes around and I've seen videos in the UK
they go around, especially for the g JAB. Right when
this was when the people were talking about how bad
it was. They go around and say, hey, you know,

(07:45):
I noticed that you were on your Facebook and your
bad mouthing this and that, and you know, giving them
a fine or a warning, and they're like what yeah,
so freedom of speech apparently is not so freedom. So
I told you in a few minutes, I would read

(08:06):
something to you to I guess push against that video.
And here is AI overview because I googled it, like
is this true? You know, you got to question everything
these days. Is this true? And this is what AI
Overview from Google told me. It says, no, Meta will

(08:29):
not be reading your private DM starting in December of
twenty twenty five. Viral social media posts making this claim
are false. Okay, good, that's good. Let's continue reading though.
The actual policy update, which takes effect on December sixteenths

(08:49):
so that was right. Twenty twenty five is a change
in how Meta uses data from your conversations with the
Meta AI chat bot to personalize content and ads across
its platforms. So here now I'm going to be reading

(09:10):
key facts about the update. Private messages are unaffected. It
says the content of private and encrypted messages with friends
and family on Messenger and What's Up or What's Up,
What's App and soon Instagram as encryption rolls out, will
not be used for AI training or AD targeting unless

(09:34):
you or someone in the chat specifically chooses to share
them with the AI. AI chat interactions are the focus.
The change means that if you interact with the meta
AI chat bot uh e. G. Asking for hiking recommendations,

(09:58):
you know, for example, that information will be used to
show you relevant content and ads, for example hiking boots
or recommendations for hiking groups. So the purpose the goal
is to better personalize content and ad recommendations based on

(10:18):
your interactions with the AI features. Regional exemptions do destrictor
data protection laws. The update will not initially initially apply
to users in the European Union, the EU, and or
the United Kingdom. So he was right about that, But

(10:41):
I that is what you know, aioverview says. Okay, well,
so if you do believe aioverview, then this video really
is false. But I'm going to continue it anyways because
it's fun. All right, Let's see what what else this
guy has to say.

Speaker 8 (11:02):
That's why I use a signal, which I'm sure they
can get into signal I'm sure they can't.

Speaker 7 (11:08):
There's no privacy.

Speaker 8 (11:10):
This data access will start in most of the world
on December sixteenth, though in the EU and UK, which
have stricter data protection laws, it will start later, apparently
on March fourth of next year.

Speaker 7 (11:23):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (11:26):
So, unless you want a couple of robotic blonde women
to pat you down and cuff you as you try
to go to work, you better watch what you say,
what you think, and how you communicate in the United
Kingdom because they're already arresting thousands of people a year
for their social media posts, let alone for your private messages.
Now they're going to have access to your private messages.

(11:49):
Industry media analysis analysts industry media analysis have tended so
far to focus on the issue of AI chats. But
Facebook book in a privacy update titled your Activity and
Information that You provide includes DMS in the data it
can access, gather and use. So this is what it says.

(12:12):
This is what meta is saying. It says on our
products you can send messages, take photos and videos, buy
or sell things, and much more. We call all of
these things you can do on our products activity. We
collect your activity across our products and information that you provide,
such as content that you create such as posts, comments,

(12:35):
or audio. They're collecting it content that you provide through
our camera feature or your camera roll settings, or through
our voice enabled features. Learn more about what we collect
from these features and how we use information from the
camera for masks, filters, avatars, and effects messages. There it is,

(12:55):
so they're going to collect.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
So I don't know what he's reading from, but he's
reading from something. I mean, it's a video, so I
could see that he's reading from something, but I can't
tell what it's from. Maybe Facebook itself, I don't know.
I don't know. I read what I read was from
the AI overview when you ask Google these things. So
again I don't know what he's reading from. But wherever

(13:20):
he's reading from the it's contradicting what AI overview is
saying in a way. Now we all know, like when
you have your phone, right your cell phone, smartphone, you
do have to like give Facebook and Instagram permission, like

(13:40):
you know, for your photos, and so I don't think
that's anything new. So they've had access to it all
but now it says they're collecting it. So does that
mean they're keeping it in storage? Now, whereas before they weren't.
I don't know. I don't really understand this, but let's
continue with the video call.

Speaker 8 (14:01):
All of these things you can do on our products. Activity.
We collect your activity across our products and information that
you provide, such as content that you create such as posts, comments,
or audio. They're collecting it. Content that you provide through
our camera feature or your camera roll settings, or through

(14:24):
our voice enabled features. Learn more about what we collect
from these features and how we use information from the
camera for masks, filters, avatars, and effects. Messages. There it is,
so they're gonna collect the messages that you send and receive,
including their content. They're telling you right out in the open,

(14:46):
We're gonna collect your messages. They're gonna collect your messages. Wow.

Speaker 7 (14:55):
How about MySpace?

Speaker 8 (14:56):
Did you guys buy did you guys buy MySpace retroactively?

Speaker 6 (15:01):
My Space?

Speaker 8 (15:01):
I remember that Meta denies that its products contained back
doors and that it is currently reading messages.

Speaker 6 (15:08):
Yeah, yeah, and that's what I read. Meta denies it, right,
So what's to give it here? I is it collecting
it or.

Speaker 9 (15:17):
Is it not? Well?

Speaker 7 (15:18):
Trust Mark Zuckerberg, I don't either, do you know?

Speaker 8 (15:21):
I don't he already said he he censored accurate, truthful,
factual information. I don't he already said he he censored accurate, truthful,
factual information when the government told him to, and he
ruined people's reputations on Facebook, like mine by putting bogus

(15:42):
warning labels on my posts even though they.

Speaker 6 (15:45):
Were Yeah, and they've done that with Jack and I
as well, and especially Jack, oh Jack. Yeah. Now the
rumor is, and I don't know how true this is.
I haven't done my background search on it, but supposedly
Mark Zuckerberg came up with this, and the CIA went

(16:08):
after him for the Facebook and basically paid him to
work with them. Right, So now he's a CIA operative,
I guess you call it. And so, yeah, Facebook is
now well, actually, I guess it's mostly has been since

(16:32):
its inception, a CIA thing. So there you.

Speaker 8 (16:38):
Go for factual information. However, the company is now being
sued in the US by its former head of security.
Its former head of security at Meta is suing them.
He alleges that it allows thousands of its engineers to
access sensitive user data and it's not adequately tackled issues,
allowing the hacking of over one hundred thousand accounts a

(17:02):
day whoa complainant at Tula Bay, claims that the company
ignored his warnings and sacked him, meaning they fired him
for raising concerns. Meta denies the allegation. Oh oh sure,
who here actually believes that there is any form of
communication that has been laid out for us, like a

(17:25):
booby trap that is not surveying every word you say?

Speaker 9 (17:29):
Right.

Speaker 8 (17:30):
The Meta issue comes on top of wider concerns over
online security after Digital Right Group SEMX revealed that all
Samsung mid range handsets in large parts of the world
come preinstalled with unremovable Israeli spyware.

Speaker 7 (17:45):
Oh we just did a video about that. I just
told you about that one. Wow.

Speaker 6 (17:50):
Well is there any way out of this if this
is true? Well, he's going to show you, or at
least tell you about it right now.

Speaker 8 (17:58):
But if you want to know how to get out
of this, this guy is going to tell you. David
Wolf's got the answer. Let's listen.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Starting December sixteenth, Meta will start reading your DMS, every conversation,
every photo, every voice message fed into AI and used
for profit. So here's how to stop it.

Speaker 9 (18:17):
Now.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
They make this intentionally difficult on purpose, and you can
only do this on desktop. You cannot do this from
the mobile app. So first you're going to visit privacycenter
dot Instagram dot com and it's going to take you
to this page here, And what you want to do
is you click on other policies and articles and you'll
see where it says how Meta uses information for generative
AI models and features. Click here, and the third option

(18:40):
is privacy and generative AI. You open this, scroll to
the bottom and you'll see it says whether you use
metal products or not. Anyone can submit requests related to
their personal information from third parties being used to develop
and improve AI at Meta. You click on learn more
and submit requests here, and this is the form that
you want to submit. So you click this, fill out

(19:01):
this information here and send this. And this is how
you submit to opt out of Meta using your information
to improve their AI services.

Speaker 7 (19:11):
Wow, they make it easy, don't they.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (19:14):
Boy, it's easier to set up a nuclear power plant
than it is to unsubscribe from Meta reading your privates DMS.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
Isn't that wild? That's really happening?

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Well?

Speaker 7 (19:26):
Yeah again, I know.

Speaker 8 (19:28):
This is the third story I've done in a row
about how you don't have privacy it's the government, it's Meta,
it's Alexa, it's your car, it's your banking, digital, it's everything.
So there again, I give it so you can rewind
the video, watch it again.

Speaker 7 (19:48):
That's how you opt out.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
So they know you can do it. It's like fifteen steps
to do it. I mean, then make it as easy
as getting unemployment these days unbelievable. Now again, let's say
this is all Let's just say this video is inaccurate
and they're not going to do anything on December sixteenth

(20:12):
other than what they've already been doing. Let's just say
your privacy is not in jeopardy. Let's just say AI
overview is correct and it's just alternating blah blah blah
whatever whatever AI said. Okay, let's just say that's all
true and nothing is nothing private's going to get collected

(20:36):
and outsourced to bad people or the government. Okay, but
what's not to say in a few years that that's
going to actually happen. I mean, if you get Gavin
Newsom in there as president in twenty twenty eight, what's

(20:58):
to stop them to I don't know, changing laws, executive orders.
You one could say the constitution, but you see how
they work around the constitution. Look at ninety eleven. What
came out of that, right, Yeah, the Patriot Act came
out of ninety eleven. So that's kind of taking away

(21:22):
your freedom is without telling you, they're taking away your
freedoms little by little, taking away your privacy little by
a little. Now, I'm not here to scare y'all or
anything like that. The thing is, I'm just letting people,
letting you aware of what they may or may not

(21:43):
be doing. December sixteenth and so on March fourth, my
mother's birthday. Happy birthday, March fourth, my mother. So I
don't know. I'm just sending out the information. Believe it
or not, take it or leave it. Decide for yourself.
You dig into it yourself. Is this going to be

(22:06):
something that they are collecting and keeping and or sending
to the government and or for I don't know, selling
it your information off you decide. I suppose. Okay, I
don't know if this door guy's correct or not, but

(22:28):
I like to show you what I've been learning the
last few days or this past week about this, and
it's just like, wow, how did we get here? Well,
it probably started even further back than ninety eleven. But
that's kind of where I think it started, the worst

(22:48):
part of it, you know, So, I don't know, you
guys decided this is a very interesting topic that well,
I'm sure we'll be discussing later on in the future. Right. Anyway,
that's all I've got today. If you want to check

(23:11):
out the whole video, check out the Jimmy Door Show,
the Jimmy Dre Door Show. I'm sure you can find
it on YouTube or something. And I don't look up
meta privacy. I think it's what is the title here?
This is meta scooping up your private messages? There you go,

(23:33):
so look for that. Just go Jimmy Door Show meta
and you can see his whole video and then maybe
you could decide how to get away, how to get
out of that, right, go to the fifteen steps that
you have to do to get out of the privacy thing. Interesting,

(23:54):
all right, Jack, what's up?

Speaker 9 (23:56):
Guys?

Speaker 3 (23:57):
I gotta do the self do because and I need money.

Speaker 9 (24:01):
We need we got to keep this ministry going.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Everything Tim and I do, and Robert and Karen, all
of us, everything we do is volunteer.

Speaker 9 (24:11):
But the technology.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Tim has to increase the technology because Satan keeps increasing
the technology that eliminates podcasts. Yeah, that eliminates our ability
to be out there to reach people. So, Tim, how
can they get money to you? Don't you have something
like a PayPal or some kind of thing they can
put money into.

Speaker 9 (24:33):
How do they do that?

Speaker 6 (24:34):
I do have a PayPal. Yeah, I think you could
just send it to Tim orp ninety seven at yahoo
dot com. Tim orp ninety seven at yahoo dot com.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
All right, and then and then, guys, you can go
to our podcast and.

Speaker 9 (24:50):
You can I think there's a way there. You can
support it.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
On Facebook and you can get a t shirt from
friends Real network dot com with your own alien on it,
and start promoting the show, getting the word out so
that we can, through camouflage, reach those who are unreachable.

Speaker 9 (25:15):
In many ways. Let us be the hand of God.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
Okay, Tim needs more technology, he needs more computer upgrades.
I don't understand all that because he's the sounding Guys,
whether you realize or not.

Speaker 9 (25:29):
I hope you've heard me say this before. Tim is.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Without Tim, this would not be here. He is this
talented person behind the screen. He is the engineer. He's
a sound engineer, he's a production manager. He puts the
commercials in he sets up many relationships with other podcasters.
He is he is a gift from God. I do

(25:54):
my part, I talk.

Speaker 6 (25:57):
I appreciate that I do need a new laptop because
I'm using my wife's for this, and also new mixing
board because we've been having issues with the mixing board.
But rather than that. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
So, and if you want to support Jack, then and
you live in or you know somebody lives in central Illinois,
or you have a business in central Illinois or even Illinois.
For a business commercially, I'll go to the whole state
and what's it called, what's the excellent word? Iowa, Idaho, Iowa.

Speaker 9 (26:33):
One of the Wisconsin.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, if you're commercial, you're in that three state area,
please contact us. We need advertisers sponsors at the same time.
I do roofing and sell commercial roofing. And if you
live in the Peoria area within two hours of Peoria,
I do residential roofing, or if you know somebody does,

(26:57):
maybe you own rental properties there.

Speaker 9 (26:59):
The companies called three or nine Roofing.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
And UH, and my name is Jack the Roofer. You
can find me on Facebook. UH in that area. And
if you have a church or something in central Illinois
or central California, starting in Fresno, going out to Bakersfield Modesto.
And you'd like for Tim and I to come and

(27:24):
speak there, or play music, or testify or talk about
the podcast or introduced the Maybe you have a small
church and you need to you need some concepts of outreach.
Give us a call, give us contact Tim, Tim, what's
our email?

Speaker 6 (27:42):
That's uh, let's get jacked up at gmail dot com.
Let's get jacked up at gmail dot com.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
I am more than happy to come and speak at
your church absolutely free. And if Tim is available, maybe
I can get him in to play some of his music.
You know, Tim is a awesome musician and singer.

Speaker 9 (28:05):
Even does Bill Clinton. How's it going, Bill?

Speaker 6 (28:08):
Well, you know, I don't like to honk my own horn,
but I let other people do it for me, all right.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
I like that. And and he also does voice acting,
so if you need a voice actor, he does alone
do it.

Speaker 6 (28:24):
Yeah, the voice you know volks too.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
Yeah, And he does Bill Clinton. And Robert is a
voice actor. He does his Missus doubtfire. You have a
lot of talent here, folks, So if you need a commercial,
dune by Missus Doubtfire, or you need a commercial dune
by Bill Clinton, or you need a commercial dumb by
by what they call him, the Italian Stallion.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
Then this I also have Sean Connery available.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Oh yeah, I forgot about the night Sean your names. Yeah,
So if you want a commercial done by one of
these voices, contact Tim. And this supports this ministry. This
supports us going on. By the way, folks, we have

(29:16):
let's get jacked up and we have jacked up daily
and for your listening, for you to get involved in
recommend people to us, please turn them on to Fringe
Radio Network. We're also on iHeartRadio and Google podcasts and
Apple podcasts and Spotify and all these other areas. So

(29:36):
there's amplaris for you to advertise on. There's amplers for
you to share us on. And we need This is
God's ministry, not Jack and Tim's or Robert and Karen's.

Speaker 9 (29:46):
We need to keep going.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
But we've been running this ministry faithfully since two thy
and thirteen. I think I know, Tim, are we heading
for six hundred podcasts or we pass that?

Speaker 6 (29:58):
Oh I don't even know I have the check, but
it's it's somewhere around at least three hundred. Yeah, okay,
now I thought now that well, wait a minute, that's
just let's get jacked up. The jacked up dailies have
been adding up too, So if you combine them together,
then you're probably looking around five four or five six
hundred somewhere around there.

Speaker 9 (30:18):
Yeah. Wow, think about folks. Yeah, even if it was three.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
Hundred only, that's a lot of tracks being sent out
for God worldwide.

Speaker 9 (30:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:28):
If you combine the two, I'm thinking around four hundred
right now.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yeah, that's a lot of tracks being sent out worldwide.
Think about that, Tim, Jim, your voice is being heard
in Sri Lanka, Syria, Iran, Germany. I remember talking to
one guy Australia. That's it Australia. I mean, Tim, you're everywhere, right,

(30:54):
That's not glory. It's not about you, it's not on me.
The glory is that God's everywhere, and we have no
clue how his message is going to influence people, if
it's going to plant the seed, if the Holy Spirit's
going to use it to bring the hammer down and
cause conviction.

Speaker 9 (31:15):
We don't know. That's why they call it the Living Word. Yeah,
let's continue the Living Word, folks. Help us continue the
living word and ministering the people. We're not getting rich.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
I'm in the basement of my son's house right now
doing the podcast, and Tim is in California working on
his wife's laptop. So we're not one of those rich
TV preachers that needs a new lyric.

Speaker 9 (31:40):
Yet that's not what we're doing.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
Well, that's the other thing. It's like, you know, people
when we have guests, they ask me, oh, you are
we doing a video podcast? I say no, simply because
we don't have the technology to do that right now.
I mean, when I want to do something like that,
I want it to be really good and I don't
want to do a half stacked right So when we

(32:04):
do video, when we go to video, I want it
to be as professional as possible. So I don't want
to have it like I don't know, just a Facebook video.
Anybody could do that. We have tried that with Zoom YouTube,
and it's just it's the quality is not what we need.
So when we get enough funds to do something like that,

(32:25):
we will be more than happy to do it. But
right now we're audio only, and which is great, but
I know people want video, so the more help we
could get with that, the faster we could do video stuff.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
But that's where we're man and we're looking to open
a merchandise store pretty soon on Shopify or something. We're
working on that right now so that you can start
promoting the show.

Speaker 9 (32:50):
But right now, you can.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Promote the show on your Facebook group, you can on
your social media's, you can promote Fringe Rail Network. We're
a primary show with them, and they are really good
friends with us.

Speaker 9 (33:05):
And they have Captain Leake Walker. Yeah, let's t shirts.

Speaker 6 (33:10):
He's crazy, right.

Speaker 9 (33:12):
So, and here's the deal, guys, for Air Breek Captain
Leake Walker. That gets sold. We know that somebody had
to listen to the show.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
We know that that's God's message getting out there, and
that's what that's all about.

Speaker 10 (33:30):
Well, if you ask me, Meta has been collecting data
of yours for a long time. They just now have
to let the public in on it. Those are my
thoughts on it anyways, but nobody did ask me, so
who cares?

Speaker 8 (33:40):
Well?
