Is America First Tearing Itself Apart While Pretending the Enemy Is Everywhere Else?

#GoRight with Peter Boykin Commentary

This episode dives into one of the wildest political weeks we have seen in a long time. It started with Trump calling MTG a traitor. It ended with a friendly Oval Office meeting between the President of the America First movement and the Democratic Socialist mayor of New York. If people wanted to rage about MTG going on The View, then they should have also questioned that Oval Office photo op. The double standards were loud.

We break down why meeting with the enemy is sometimes a strategy, why questioning Trump is not betrayal, and why loyalty with a backbone is healthier for this movement than blind obedience. MTG’s resignation speech laid out a harsh truth about both parties. They profit from chaos, raise money from outrage, and enter campaign safe mode while nothing gets done. She said what many of us have been warning about for years.

This podcast covers the cracks inside our own side, the tension, the confusion, and the reality that the movement is not losing because of MTG. It is losing because too many people cash in on division, while the real work gets ignored.

This is a fast-paced Drum and Bass intro that pushes the message with energy, urgency, and purpose.

It is time to Go Right.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Sometimes there are moments that feel like political whiplash, and
this time it started with Donald Trump calling MTG a
trader and ended with one of the most confusing optics
we've seen in a very long time. The president of
the America First Movement and MAGA sat comfortably in the

(00:20):
Oval Office with the Democrat socialist mayor of New York City.
If people wanted to attack MTG for going on the view,
then they should have been just as vocal about Donald
Trump's smiling and exchanging lines with someone who openly opposed
almost everything he stood for.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
The double standards were obvious now.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
The reality was that sometimes you set across from the enemy,
sometimes you do exchange notes.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Sometimes you give.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Praise when your own team is getting the job done
and not getting the job done. I mean MTG gave
praise to Nancy Pelosi for her correct leadership and getting
fourteen to do what they needed to do, and she says,
I wish my team would do the same thing. That's
not traitorism. That is literally pointing it out. I mean,

(01:19):
in sports, they analyze their own plays and then the
plays of the opposing king, all to improve.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Also good sportsmanship.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
People, politics is working the same way supposed to work
the same way. We need to get better, we need
to think smarter, and we need to stop pretending that
questioning Donald Trump is forbidden. No one is perfect, not
even Donald Trump. It's hard tomit that and pretending everything

(01:52):
that he does is always for dy chess does not
help our movement. What helps is being outspoken when something
feels wrong. It doesn't mean that anyone's not supporting Donald
Trump or stop supporting Donald Trump. I never left the
Trump train, not once, and nor do I plan to.

(02:15):
But standing with someone also means speaking up when they
drift off the track, and that is loyalty, not betrayal.
And MDG is correct. A lot of people like herself, myself,
others have been loyal to Donald Trump. We've been here,
we've sacrificed for Donald Trump, but we're not brought into

(02:38):
the inner circle. Meanwhile, we've watched never trumpers, people on
and off the Trump train, influencers that weren't for him
for the four years. People who talk to I mean
garbage like garbage about Donald Trump, and we're not for love,
not for just as in playing garbage, be brought into
the circle. I know that they say, bring your enemies closer.

(03:04):
But come on, you don't surround yourself with all enemies
that push out the rest of us. That's portrayal to us.
So MDG's resignation speech spelled out a lot of what
I've been saying in my podcast, and a lot of
what any constitutionalist for liberty already has understood. The left

(03:25):
and the right has built a giant complex, a giant
industry out of winning and losing elections. I mean, some
of them make more money losing elections.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
They've gone to the extremes on both sides.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
They raise money doing this, They fuel outrage, and then
they locked themselves into a campaign safe vote when the
season's changed. As she said, many of the bills that
should have been voted on during the shutdown sat on
the speaker's desk, and now everybody's gone to don't rock
the vote. We got to get our donor money. Forget

(04:01):
what the people are for not representing them. We only
represent the donor class, and nothing gets done. The people
are forgotten, the system keeps cashing checks. Her speech was
not betrayal. It was a spotlight on how both parties operate. Now,

(04:24):
I've never been someone who blindly followed MTG. I think
she was part of the QAnon stuff, but I can
recognize when someone's telling the truth. Now, I thought of
MTG as kind of the AOC of the Republican Party.
Some people have said that too, but I know what
she's telling the truth. She fought for Trump, she fought
for MAGA, she fought for America first. That the same

(04:45):
thing people she took hits most Republicans would never risk.
And calling her a trader is just nonsense. And at
the end of that week, Trump himself softened. Makes you
wonder if he ranks his own week.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Sometimes.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
He said he simply did not see idea eye with
her on certain subjects. He mentioned her support for the
Republican senator or congressperson Massy that he didn't like, and
then he said she's a very nice woman.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Folks.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
That's a long distance from calling someone a trader, and
that highlights the biggest point Trump needs to be more
responsible with his worms. When a president uses accusations like trader,
our calls for harsh punishments. It carries weight, It has consequences.

(05:38):
People take it seriously, and we expect a better from
someone leading the movement. We believe in not because we
dislike him, but because we want him to secede.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Folks, even right now.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
In my own groups, case for Trump, Gay Republicans push
on Facebook. I'm pushing, I'm getting face pushedback. We're gonna
have a lot of people come into our room. Five
thousand people and growing, and gay Republicans four thousand engaged
or Trump and growing, some crossover.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
We keep growing and weekly.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
There are people who come in and they push back,
and they don't want to have a civil conversation. They
want to come in and troll, and they want to
treat you like dirt, and they don't understand.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I'm the advent. I am the person who created the group.
It is my group. It is my house. Just like
a Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
If somebody comes to your house or any party or
any group and they're disrespectful.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
They've got to go.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
If they're willing to have a civil conversation or take
a time out for a moment, come back and be nice.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Said hey, let's go for it.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
But I'm not going to allow people to come in
and cause problems and cause.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
The unity to disappear.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
So I thank you for everybody who comes in to
my groups or comes here into the comment and comments
on these videos and comments. Things that we can work on,
we can compromise, But if you want to be a troll,
bye bye.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
So with all of this, folks, cracks.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Are revealed, including tensions and the confusion inside our own side.
But it also proves that truth behind.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
What MTG said. We're not losing because of her.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
We are losing because too many people profit from chaos
while the work that needs to be done keeps getting ignored.
We'll be right back with more go write news.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
If we want to win, we need focus, not panic panic.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
We need disciplinai, not denial denial.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
The movement survives when the truth gets louder than the drama.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
It is time to go right. It is time to
go right. It is time to go right.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
For the people, for the truth, for this constitutional republic.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
What remember we fight for what's right because it's time

(09:15):
to go right. Welcome back to hashtag go right with
Peter Boyka. This is my commentary. So I'm going to
ask the question today, is America first tearing itself apart
while pretending the enemy is everywhere else?

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Now, Sometimes you watch.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
A political moment feel like someone finally said out loud
what someone else or everyone else has been whispering.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
That's exactly what happened with Marjorie Taylor.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Green delivered her ten minute resignation statement, and I tell
you I've never thought I would be upset, but I
am upset that she's dropping out. People can pretend to
hate it, but the truth is they hate what is forced.
They hate that it is force them to face the
problems inside the movement instead of distracting themselves with the

(10:06):
usual finger party. She said the same things that many
of us have been saying for years. We cannot save
a constitutional republic while half the movement is too busy
attacking the other half. You cannot fix a country if
you cannot even hold a conversation inside your own ranks
without someone screaming trader, rhino, grifter or infiltrator. MTG called

(10:31):
out the sickness. The sickness did not start with her
with that note. I run Gaster Trump. I run a
large gay Republican group. I know there's people on Trump's
inner circle that have blacklisted people like me. People in
the log Cabin Republican group, people are supposed to be
on my own side, have blacklisted people like me, we

(10:55):
don't let us get close to Trump.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
It doesn't stop what I'm going to continue you to do.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
And if that's calling people out on both sides, I'll
continue to do that. And I know people come in
my group, they cause arguments and conflicts, and if they're
not willing to.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Conversate or have a civil conversation or built they can go.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
And it's funny though, interestingly, the loudest voices crying betrayal
are the same people who conveniently ignore identical behavior from
their favorite figure, Donald Trump, who attacked MTG for going
on the view of being civil. They claim she was weak,
compromised to selling out. Yet the man they claim they

(11:42):
defend above all else, Donald Trump, sat down with the Democrats,
socialist Muslim mayor in New York and was perfectly civil. Apparently,
civility is only treason when it is not your preferred
champions doing it for people, folks, If it wasn't for
me going on to lots and lots of the enemies

(12:08):
news media, be an interviewed, taking the hits the equivalent
of the view. Basically for a lot of things, marching
into the line stent, I wouldn't be able to reach
the crowd that I've reached. With this group, I wouldn't
be able to talk to go right, I wouldn't be
able to talk about gays or Trump. I wouldn't be

(12:29):
able to get that information out there because people are
a slave.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
To where they like to go.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
People like to watch Fox News, people like to watch
ABC News, people like to watch CNN. So you've got
to go to it to get the message out. Otherwise
we're just talking in an echo chamber. Now, this is
the hypocrisy that prodes movements from the inside. Anyone who
has watched politics long enough understands that being civil with

(12:55):
your critics is not surrender.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
It's strategy.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
It is optics, it is leaders and it is how
you win undecided voters and how you reach people outside
that echo chamber.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
That's what I do.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
So MTG is right about the division, She's right about
the hate on both sides. She is right that neither
side will fix anything if they cannot stop fighting long.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Enough to see the real opposition.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
You cannot defeat a political machine when your own activists
spend more time trying to destroy each other than trying
to destroy corruption.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I mean on TV.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Now we have a commercial lives are going on for
a race that hasn't even been started yet. I don't
even think it's part of the end of midterms, or
maybe it is these commercials every day, destroying somebody, destroying
somebody nobody's even filed again, destroying, destroying, destroying for a
local Senate seat. It's getting irritating. But I know people

(13:53):
going to compete a gift Joe. But these attack as
own man. So supporting MTG and supporting Dom Trump are
not conflicting choices.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Folks. Both have the same ultimate goal. Both want to
secure the country.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
They want to end the chaos and restore a functioning
constitutional republic.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
The problem is not with them.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
The problem is with the people who claim to support
America first in Macca. They're the same while tearing apart
anyone who does not speak in their preferred tone or
purity code. I know that firsthand, division is easy. Unity
takes work, and the people screaming the loudest about the
trio are always the ones doing the least to help

(14:36):
build anything real. It's easier to knock down. It's easier
to knock down than build. It gets more views, causing problems.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
I don't get as many views because I talk unity.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Other people talk bad to defeat, they call out rhetoric
and want to cause problems. They get the views. Lenny,
in my own movement that I disagree with and try
to push people out of the movement and push people out,
and they get views. I don't get the views because

(15:12):
I talk about unity. Nobody wants to hear about peace.
Nobody wants to hear the actual problems getting fixed. It's strange. Ultimately, folks,
MTG told the truth. It's just some people did not
want to hear it. Folks, we got to do better.

(15:33):
It's time to go right.
