Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello everyone, and welcome to another episode of a Walk
through the Multiverse. I'm your host, Joe, and this show
is part of the Geek Ultimate Last Network, with six
shows in total. You can find them down in the
show notes below. We've got a Patreon with two tiers,
a dollar tiers and nice. Well, thank you. You appreciate
what we're doing and you'd just like to give back somehow.
But we also have a five dollars here which will

(00:20):
give you ad free content, early access to content, and
Patreon exclusive content. Ad free because this show will have
ads and there will be a sound bite when those
ads happen. And as for the Patreon exclusive, I've been
doing my Multiverse minutes Disney Dives, where I've been going
through all of the Disney animated films from the beginning,

(00:41):
working my way through to the present day. I just
put out my episode talking about Aladdin, and my next
film coming up will be talking about a Nightmare before Christmas.
I know that's not I mean it's Disney adjacent because
I think it is hyperiod and I don't know what

(01:01):
this is exactly, but it's not. It's it's Disney esque.
So yeah, Anyway, myself and Travis over DC Allions have
been doing our DC films through the years, and the
boys over at Marvel Alliance, Chris and David just finished
up their backs to broadcasts which they covered the Fantastic

(01:23):
Four films. So we've got all that as the current
but we also have a bunch of great back content
over on the Patreon. If you want to go ahead
and check all that out, five dollars. Five dollars will
get you access to all of that. But if you
can't do that, we completely understand, go ahead and give
us a rating review on your podcast casting Apple Choice.

(01:45):
It will help people find the show and we greatly
appreciate that. So welcome everybody to this episode and as
you can see, I am covering it. Welcome to Dairy.
This episode is episode two, and man, this show, this

(02:07):
show is solid. I'm loving it. I mean I love it.
I love Stephen King really the so I've mentioned this,
I think in the past I haven't read very many
Stephen King books. I am correcting that. I'm actually working
on that. Currently, I've only read the Dark Tower series.

(02:30):
That's seven there. I have read Carrie, The Long Walk
and Running Man, so I'm currently at eight. I know
that he's got like, I don't know a shit ton,
but I'm slowly but surely working my way through whenever

(02:53):
I can, so I know I'm gonna try. And you know,
I was a get there's the big ones I was
gonna I had this whole plan of starting in the
beginning and going forward, and I got through Carrie. But
my plan was to read the book and then watch
the movie adaptation of said book. I read Kerrie, watched
the movie, and then stop because I don't know, I

(03:18):
just got busy. But that being said, though, there are
so many out there, and it is one of those
where I have seen both the mini series, I've seen
the movies that came out in the twenty seventeen and

(03:39):
twenty nineteen, respectively, and so I'm really enjoying this new series,
which I think I talked about a little bit last
episode is the interludes. This stuff, what what this show

(04:00):
is based on is in the book. They're just being
expanded on from the book, which is kind of awesome.
So it's really really cool. So with that being said, basically,
I just really I just want to I know there
are some things in the book that are not great,

(04:23):
and I think that has deterred me from reading the book,
but the fact that, I mean, I didn't know that
any of this was in the book, so now I'm
really interested in Actually, I am on the wait list
for the audiobook in I think either on Hoopla or Libby,

(04:43):
maybe both, I don't know. I think I like to
do on the wait list for both to see which
one gets on you know, comes up first, and then
go that. But I also know the books like forty Hours,
so it's it's definitely one where it's a commitment. But
that being said, this episode is, like I said, it's

(05:05):
a solid episode and there's a lot that happens, so
let's go hang into it. I should also mention that
while this this show is you know, coming from the materials,
coming from the books, they have reworked some things to

(05:29):
fit with the narrative that the movies started, because they
did rework some stuff from to work for the movies.
So this is obviously working retooling, reworking, shifting things around,
and they're trying to make everything work that way. I

(05:52):
think eventually what I want to do is go through
and I'm sure somebody has gone and done a dive
into all of King's connected works and like built a
sort of connected universe specifically because like I know this one,
Dick Kloran is in here in this well, he's in

(06:15):
the show. And I talked about last week how Dick
is in the Shining and he is kind of a
major part of that, and he plays a big part
in this according to what other reviews have said and
other people have talked about. Again, I've never read the book,

(06:39):
so I can't speak on that. We will see, I mean,
from what these two episodes, this episode in particular has
already laid out, the groundwork has been laying out. He
is a major part in what's going on. But what
other reviews have already talked about, he's going to be
playing a major role in upcoming episodes. So so it'll

(07:01):
be interesting to see what happens. So I think, without
further ado, we'll just go ahead and hop into the
episode itself. Spoiler alert ahead. If you haven't seen the episode,
go check it out. This one's a fun one, all right,
So let's go ahead and get into it. This opening

(07:22):
scene is literally just the ending scene from last episode,
but from Lily's perspective, because she is reliving the events
through a nightmare. Something tells me that she's going to
be reliving these events for some time. We pop over

(07:42):
to the Grogan residents and Hank Grogan is the projectionist
and possibly the owner of the Capitol Theater where Ronnie
took Lily, Teddy, Phil and Susie and the last place
Maddie was seen before he disappeared. And again I say
projectionist and possible owner because the Capital Theater is still

(08:08):
closed and I understand that there is an investigation going on,
but I don't think after four months with Maddie being
gone that they would have would have been closed that
long with obviously the kids just like Teddy, Phil and

(08:30):
Susie just dying. I can understand that being closed for
a little bit, but it was still closed down after Maddie,
So I think this is why I think Hank is
the owner, but I also am unsure about that because
Hank is a black man and Darry is extremely racist.

(08:51):
Him owning a building is highly unlikely, especially in the sixties.
But again, and the place being closed down is I
don't know. They just keep calling him the projectionist throughout
both last episode. In this episode, I still am unsure

(09:14):
if he's the owner. This is just me projecting. I
don't know, haha, projecting projectionist did not mean to do
that anyway. Hank has already was already the main suspect
in Maddie's disappearance, since he is a black man. And
now you add in the death of three more kids,
and it's no wonder that the chief of police has

(09:35):
a squad car sitting outside their place, except Hank has
a solid alibi. Inside the broken place, Hank is arguing
with his mom with his mother about the cops trying
to pin the debts on him. Grandma says that Ronnie
shouldn't have to let them, shouldn't have let them kids

(09:56):
into the theater in the first place, but Hank defends
his daughter, saying they were just trying to figure out
what happened to Mett. To Maddie, she blames Ronnie's attempt
at heroism on him for filling her head with all
that Hollywood stuff making her think she is some sort
of big shot. She actually does name drop a movie star, well,

(10:20):
a movie detective. I guess I don't remember the name,
but somebody on another review actually looked up who the
name was. And it turns out it was a big
time movie detective for the time, so good on them
for looking it up. I did not want to do that,

(10:42):
so I just said a big shots anyway. Grandma says
that Ronnie needs to go back to school. Hank says
that he can't keep her safe if she's out of
his sight. His mom retorts back that he can't protect
her forever. Of course, Ronnie is awake and heard all
of this, and she is afraid that the cops will

(11:04):
find a way to blame him for everything that has
happened her dad blame her dad, and in doing so
take him away. We go over to Major Leroy Hanlin,
who is at his new house waiting on his wife, Charlotte,
and son Will to arrive, which just so happens to

(11:25):
be right when he steps outside. Will rushes inside to
check out his new room. While Leroy and Charlotte embrace outside,
A lady walking her dog passes by and stares at them,
but gives an almost passive aggressive response as a two
wave at her. Will gets up to his room and
is ecstatic about the new telescope that leroar picked up

(11:47):
at an antique store in town. Things get a little
awkward when Leroar suggests spying on the neighbors since it's
not night out and they can't see the stars, but
he quickly gets back on track and they start talking
about things on the telescope. Later that night, Leor thanks
his wife for the suggestion of the telescope. Charlotte says

(12:09):
that the last thing their son needed was another baseball
that he isn't gonna use. Will isn't like what his
father was at that age. He's more into that science
stuff At the high school. The next day, Marge walks
up to the Patty Cakes, Patty, Ronda, and Elaine, the

(12:30):
three popular girls. As Elaine is revealing who she has
a crush on, she is afraid that the other girls
will laugh at her, but they promised not to. Elaine
says who it is, and Patty and Ronda can't help themselves,
and because Marge wants to be part of the crowd,

(12:50):
even though she was happy for her friend that probably
couldn't care less about her, she starts laughing too and
takes it a step further by doing an impression of
the guy. She seems to have gone too far, and
Patty tells her to stop. Patty then knows as Ronnie
walking toward the school and gives the girls start making

(13:13):
comments about her dad and all the rumors about him.
Marge sees Ronnie talking to Lily, and when they are
in class, she asks Lily about it. Marge tries to
guilt her into talking with Ronnie or into not talking
with Ronnie by saying she knows that the patty Cakes
care about her and that she knows Lily wants things

(13:35):
to go back to the way they used to be
with all of them. She is obviously a terrible friend
because Lily tried to talk to her before the kids
died and Marge thought she was spouting off crazy talk. Now,
after everything has happened and all Marge can think about
is being popular, Lily tells her that she can care

(13:56):
less what the patty Cakes think of her. Teddy, Phil
and Susie are dead. Will comes in late to class
first day of school, and he doesn't know where anything
is at, but the teacher doesn't seem to care. She
excuses him this one time and tells him to take
a seat. I have watched both the nineteen ninety mini

(14:19):
series and the twenty seventeen twenty nineteen movies, and while
there was blatant racism in there, both of those, you
could never get the feeling of how deep that racism ran.
As Will is going to his seat, almost everyone is
just staring at him as he walks, and as he
goes to sit down, the kid sitting behind him kicks

(14:41):
out his chair. Leori gets called into Colonel Fuller's office.
Before he goes in, he sees Masters being escorted out
by what looks to be some military police. Fuller informs

(15:01):
him that Masters confess to attacking Leroy the other night
after his quarters was searched and the weapon that was
used was found there, but he he hasn't given up
the other two guys yet. Leroy is grateful, but just
before he leaves, he asks Fuller about the weapon. He
noticed it was a Markov PM Makarov Makarov sorry, Makarov PM,

(15:27):
a Soviet weapon. Fuller confirms this to be true, asking
why the inquiry, Leroy just wanted to make sure that
when he told the story to his future grandkids that
he had the details right. Charlotte goes into town, and
while the town seems welcome and inviting, there are pockets

(15:49):
of worry that she takes notice of, like the grease
are teens outside of the tavern giving her the side eye,
or the protesters at the Paul Bunyan statue, but she
tries to not let it bother her as she makes
her way down to the meat market. As she is
conversing with the butcher, she hears from kids outside. She

(16:09):
looks and sees three boys, three boys beating up a fourth.
More importantly, she sees everyone else either walking by or
just watching from a distance, letting it play out. When
she asks why is no one trying to stop this,
the butcher just says that boys will be boys. Charlotte

(16:31):
scoffs at this and runs across the street and stops
the boys from hurting the other kid, drawing a crowd
of people to stare at her now, but she also
gets a kind of death glare from the boys that
seems to scare her a little. The fourth kid gets
up and runs away, drawing the attention of the three
boys back to him and away from Charlotte, which she

(16:55):
is grateful for. That night at the Handland House, Charlotte
is still flabbergasted at what the butcher said to her
about the boys and what everyone was doing or what
they weren't doing. Actually, she asks Will if he experienced
any bullying his first day of school. Will says no

(17:16):
and then tries to change the subject. Leroy chimes in,
siding with his son, telling her that after Shreveport, the
last thing she needs to do is get involved. Will
asks them to stop fighting and then asked to be
excused from dinner. Leword excuses him, and after Will is gone,
Charlotte chastises him for wanting to have a little family

(17:38):
time at dinner and for bringing up Shreveport. Leroy reminds
him reminds her that he wasn't the one that was
making signs and sitting in places they were not wanted.
In a quick aside, Charlotte sounds like a badass, and
I understand exactly why Leroy married her. Anyway, Leroy apologies

(18:00):
for unloading on her the way that he did. She
isn't the only one who's had a rough day, but
unfortunately he is unable to vent about what is bothering him.
At the broken home, Ronnie overhears her dad and grandma arguing.
As she is trying and failing to sleep. She throws
the sheet over her head to drown out the noise,

(18:22):
but a new noise appears in the form of a heartbeat,
and it's coming from her bed. Ronnie tries to remove
the sheet, but now there is no end in sight.
The sheet then transforms to the inside of a womb
and soon begins to fill the fill with an amniotic fluid.
Ronnie breaks through the sheets wall and gets ejected across

(18:44):
the room. Now covered in blood and other fluids, she
looks back to see a ghoulish version of her deceased
mom lying on the bed. On her bed, or rather
is her bed. Dead Mom blames Ronnie for killing her
when she was born and is blaming her for killing
the kids in the theater. Ronnie tries to scramble away

(19:05):
at this point, but since she just went through a rebirth,
she is still attached by the umbilical cord, which dead
Mom is now pulling back into her stomach, which has
become a giant mouth with razor sharp teeth. The mouth
opens up at one point and we see a pair
of glowing yellow eyes. Ronnie ends up severing the umbilical

(19:28):
cord with her teeth and then scrambling back against the wall,
opposite of what was her bed dead. Mom lurches up
and rushes toward Ronnie, shrieking in her face. As Ronnie
screams her lungs out, Hank bursts through the door with
Grandma right behind him. He comforts his daughter as Ronnie
looks around the room and sees everything is back to

(19:49):
normal in town. Dick Halleran is in the tavern with
a couple of his Army Airman buddies, Reggie and Jack's.
The two of them are complaining about being questioned in
connection with the attack on the Lee or Hamlet. Reggie
states that it's absurd to think that one colored airman
would attack another colored airmen. Jacks turns to Dick and

(20:12):
asks how long he got questioned for. Dick says he
wasn't asked any questions at all, stating that he has
been on a super secret spy mission. Reggie and Jackson
call bullshit and start laughing, but Dick shrugs it off
in walks Sheriff Clinton Bowers as he sits at the
bar sipping his drink, A councilman and another man I

(20:35):
can only assume in some sort of importance to the town,
or he at least thinks he's important to the town,
walks up and asks him if he has arrested Grogan yet.
They used more colorful language. Bauer says that the investigation
is ongoing and that he is doing everything he can

(20:57):
to place Grogan at the scene of the crime, but
the evidence doesn't line up and he has an alibi.
The councilman tells him to make the arrest happen, otherwise,
come next election cycle, darry will be finding itself a
new sheriff. Frustrated over this and seeing colored men having

(21:18):
a good time, Bowers calls over the bartender, and you
don't have to be a mind reader to know what
is going to happen next, But it seems that Dick
just might be because he tells Reggie and Jacks that
it's time to go. As the bartender begins to walk
up to them, now it's Reggie's turn to be frustrated,

(21:39):
Dick says he knows somebody that can help them relax,
as long as they can handle moonshine. It turns out
Jacks can't handle his moonshine very well. As they walk
up to the base, the guard that the gate asks
for their ideas and asks what they are doing out,
saying that the base is on lockdown. The guard says

(22:01):
that he'll let the OD saw it out, which I
believe OD stands for either Officer of the Day or
office of Director. Both are military terms that are used,
and having lived with a partner that was in the
military for fourteen years and served for tours overseas, you
learn that if you don't use the terminology correctly, they

(22:25):
tend to get upset. Anyway, Dick suggests that the guard
let the OD know that Dick Hollerand is one of
the men out here, staying that he has special privileges.
The guard doesn't believe him until he drops Dick's name
on the phone. Then his tone changes and he lets
him pass. Reggie and Jacks finally believe Dick is on

(22:48):
a super secret spy mission. The next morning, we come
to a Dick site and find Dick nursing a hangover.
Colonel Fuller walks up to him, calling him out for
his gifts, saying that this is the fourth Dick site
they have dug up and only found scraps. Dick reassurres
Fuller that they are close out in the woods. A

(23:11):
few Native Americans watched the Dick site with interest. At
the high school, Marge tries to get Lily to sit
with her and the Patty cakes. Lily ignores her and
goes to sit at a table by herself. Ronnie comes
in and sits down with Lily, telling her about what
happened last night. Elaine takes notice of these two talking,

(23:35):
and Patty turns to Marge, questioning her about the statement
she made about Lily not being crazy anymore. Marge says
she's not sure. She thought Lily was in a better place.
Ronda wonders what they are talking about. Marge goes overboard,
saying that they are probably planning their next murder, and
then starts acting out being killed. This causes Ronda and

(23:59):
Elaine to laugh at Patty or laugh, and Patty, not
being the center of attention at that moment, decided to
take March down the peg by making a comment about
her sweater. You don't go after the queen Bee March.
That's just you know, rule one oh one of any group.

(24:20):
Ronnie tells us Lily that the thing told her that
they are going to come for her dad. Lily says
that everyone knows her dad is innocent. She even said
as much to the cops. She is obviously not paying
attention to what people are saying, otherwise she would know
that everyone is actually blaming Hank for the murder of

(24:41):
the kids. Ronnie asks if she told the cops what
she told her, and Lily kind of danced around the question.
This scene gets both intense and weird as the patty
Cakes start to play patty Cake, which gets louder and louder,
and Ronnie and Lily argue about what was and wasn't

(25:01):
said to the cops. Lily didn't tell them about the
monster for fear of getting sent back to Juniper Hill.
Ronnie is worried that because she didn't tell them everything
that happened, then they will pin the murders on her dad.
In the end, Ronnie goes off on Lily and yells
a curse word at her, nabbing her detention. In the hallway,

(25:24):
Will is sitting on the ground reading one of his
or reading over one of his science books with his
lunch to the side, when he is interrupted by Rich,
a kid from his class. Rich jokes with him about
the spot he is sitting on being taken, but then
gets distracted when the Patty cakes walk by. Things quickly
dive into chaos. When Rich sees an older kid come

(25:47):
out of the bathroom, he tells Will to run and
then grabs his stuff in bolts. Will is confused as
to what was going on, but figures it out very
quickly when he sees the older kid chuck a stink
bombed down the hall. Unfortunately, he got caught in the blast,
and even worse than that, as he is running through
the smoke, he slams into a teacher, knocking her down

(26:12):
and getting a detention in the process. Downtown, Charlotte just
finished up grocery shopping and headed into the antique store
that Leord bought the telescope from. She meets Rose, the
owner of the store, and the two chat about Charlotte
looking for things for the house. This is a very

(26:33):
quick scene, but an easy way to introduce Rose, who
I think will play a more important role in future episodes.
Back in the high school, we find Ronnie and Will
in detention together, with Ronnie nervously walking around because of
everything going on, but also because Will stinks from the
stink bomb and she doesn't want to sit next to him.

(26:55):
And we find Will with his science book open, because
that boy really loves science. He even explains to Ronnie
the similarities of the chemicals in a stink bomb to
that of the clouds around Jubilar and Venus. This kid's
a big dork, but this dork is gonna be very
helpful in the long run. They then start to hear

(27:16):
a rucus outside and see the cops escorting Lily toward
the cop car. Ronnie looks on with concern, but not
for Lily. At the police station, Bowers questions Lily again
about the murders and if she saw Hank Grogan there.

(27:39):
She tells him once again that Hank was not at
the Capitol Theater that night Teddy, Paul, and Susie died.
Bowers starts to lay out what will happen next given
Lily's reputation. You see, since they can't prove that Grogan
was there that night, well then they have to start
looking at the only witness as the only suspect. He

(28:01):
manipulates Lily by telling her he's going to send her
back to Juniper Hill for a couple of days for
a quick evaluation, just to prove that she is on
the level. This freaks Lily out enough so when Bowers
asks again, this time reframing the question, Lily falls right
in it into the trap. All I can say is

(28:22):
a cab Hank gets arrested as Ronnie and her grandma
watch in dismay. Ronnie rushes off to Lily's house, banging
on the door. Her mom answers, chastising her for being
here at this hour. As Lily comes down the stairs,
Ronnie goes off on Lily again, wanting to know what
she told the cops. Lily said that he tricked her

(28:45):
into turning on her dad. Ronnie starts to yell her again,
but Lily's mom stops her and tells her to go home,
slamming the door in her face. The next day, at
the Air Force base, Leroy goes to see the stars
staff sergeant Masters, and I immediately need to call this out.

(29:06):
Last episode, Masters was airman's second class and now he
is staff sergeant. He went from an E three to
an E five over the course of maybe three days.
That doesn't just happen like that. I would like to
I would like to think it was a simple mistake

(29:27):
in the last episode, but they were particular when they
said his name and rank. I went back and watched
it to make sure I'd heard it right. This is
an editing mistake that was overlooked, that might be a
little might be of a little consequence. But like I
said before, I lived with someone who was in the
military for years, and if you don't get things, or

(29:50):
if you get things wrong, someone has to pay. So
with my peace of mind now said back to the episode,
Lee Word pulls out a Makarov PM and magazine and
puts it between the two of them and tells him
how difficult it is to actually load and cock one

(30:10):
of these guns, and he and that he has looked
at Master's record. He knows for a fact that while
Masters is a racist piece of shit, and would try
to take him out if neither of one of these
or one of them had ever won an uniform. Leary
wants to know why he confessed to a crime he
didn't commit. To prove a point, he starts to assault

(30:33):
Masters' mom, which pisses them off enough to grab the
gun the magazine. Leary watches as Masters struggles to load
the magazine into the gun and then is unable to
even cock it. He holds his hand out and Masters
defeatedly gives the gun back. Leary ports to General Shall
that masters wasn't the one that attacked him and that

(30:56):
he is going to file a report to have the
matter looked into. Shall tells him to sit down so
he can explain some things he had heard that the
brain injury Lee Rory received in South Korea damaged his amigdala,
which in turn caused him to not have fear, so

(31:17):
Shaul needed to test him to see how loyal he
could be, and he passed. Leroa asks who it was
that beat him, then Shaul refuses to answer, only apologizing
for it going that far that was never supposed to happen.
He does ask Lero to hear him out, though. Lily

(31:37):
ends up at the grocery store doing the shopping since
her mom is working a double shift. While walking through
the aisles, she starts hearing voices taunting her, and people
around her are either staring at her or stalking her,
or generally being odd. The isles themselves appear to becoming
a maze for Lily, as it seems like she is

(32:00):
purposely trying to avoid the pickle aisle, but she ends
up getting her out there anyway. This is after she
sees some cereal boxes with Maddie, Teddy, Paul, and Susie
on them, with their faces melting away. Once she is
surrounded by pickles, one of the jars reveals her dad's face.

(32:21):
This is her nightmare, her dad being sliced up and
put into pickle jars, and it just so happens that
all of her body parts, all of his body parts
are here and they are wanting to reconnect. The jars
fly off the shelf, shattering on the floor, and Lily's
dad forms into a pickle octopus thing that crawls across

(32:45):
the floor at her. Just before it can give her
a kiss, we hear a store clerk ask Lily what
is wrong with her. She opens her eyes, and, like
Ronnie in her bedroom, everything is back to normal, but
there is a broken jar of pickles on the ground,
presumably smashed by her. Shawl takes LeRoi to the Special

(33:08):
Project's hangar. Inside. Shaw explains that the object of the
project is to find a weapon that was buried in
Drry long ago that will be able to stop the
Cold War before it even begins. The weapon causes debilitating
fear to anyone in close proximity to it, enough to

(33:29):
kill them. Even Leroy is the only one unique enough
to withstand this weapon. He asks what it is, but
Shaw doesn't have all the answers. What he can tell
Leroy is that the weapon is surrounded by beacons that
will show the way to it. Fuller comes in and
tells Shaul that they found something at the Dick site,

(33:52):
so off they go to see what was on earth.
As they head out to the Dick site, Terry lily
mom is taking her back to Juniper Hill after the
episode in the store. It's obvious that Lily isn't better yet.
Lily is begging her mom not to do this, but
the creepy attendants with their smiles, walk her in to

(34:15):
Juniper Hill while her mom doesn't say a word. At
the Dick's site, they pull up an old nineteen twenty
style vehicle riddled with bullet holes and a group of
dead bodies. And that's how we end it. Yeah, No,
this episode was good. Really enjoyed this. There are some

(34:37):
questioning things specifically this whole, like the military going after
penny Wise thing. I mean again, they're looking for an
object that is, you know, putting out this fear thing

(35:03):
specific and maybe maybe you know. So in the movies,
we know that penny Wise specifically goes after kids. So
far in what we've seen in the show, he has
gone after kids. He is, he went after Maddie, He
went after Teddy, Phil and Susie. He is fucking with

(35:29):
Ronnie and Lily right now. But he hasn't gone after adults.
Any adults that are being affected are tend to be
people that penny Wise has either killed in the past

(35:50):
or he has controlled through something or other, like in
in the movie it was Henry Bauer that he manipulated
when he was a kid, so he was able to
still control him as an adult in the second movie. Also,
the adults, the losers in the second movie were able

(36:12):
to see penny Wise because they were able to see
that him as a kid, like they weren't manipulated by
him and all that. But all the adults though, couldn't
see him. They were oblivious to him. So the fact
that the military is looking for penny Wise specifically or

(36:33):
for the creature or for the object, the weapon, or wherever
they're calling it is interesting and I don't know exactly
how I feel about that. This is this is the
plot point that could be good, could be bad. Maybe
it's the reason why the Maybe it's the reason why

(36:58):
he doesn't go after the adults. I mean, it's very
possible that he used to go after adults like it.
I mean, he manipulates adults like he's able to Pennywise
is able to, I want to say, bend them to
his will. But he's able to use them and shape

(37:20):
them to do his bidding, to basically push them to
get his end game. At least that's what he's he
did in the movies and seems to be what he's
doing now. But what's to say that he didn't actually

(37:41):
go after the adults before. I mean, we don't know.
That's gonna be something we can find out in season
two and three. And I mean we never saw the
military base in the movies. Maybe the base gets destroyed
and the power it up and buy penny Wise by

(38:02):
the end of this season. Who knows. But I don't know.
I'm I'm I'm just throwing out some some theories here.
I I like I said, the the the adult the
military going after Pennywise is weird. But other than that,
like this show is is interesting. I'm really liking it.
I can't wait to see who will uh, who will

(38:27):
survive and how how people will die because people are
gonna die. But anyway, but that's all I got, So
thank you all for listening, and yeah we will uh
we will catch you next time.
