(01:44):
everybody to this episode, the final episode of Resident Alien
season four, episode ten, and man, it's here. It's a
sad one. I mean it's kind of sad. It's Here's

(02:05):
what I'll say. Sci Fi Channel has been notorious for,
and I've been thinking about this them all day. They've
been notorious for having an amazing show and then having
a lackluster ending where I was thirteen eureka. I can't

(02:36):
recall the Stargates like I feel I know, Stargate itself,
I think it's a pass because it had to direct
to video movies that kind of actually ended it. And
I can't recall how Stargate Atlantis ended, but I feel

(02:57):
like that didn't actually end on a very good note.
But again I don't remember. But I also feel like
Universe ended on a very weird note. But I mean,
they've also had a ton of other shows, but I
also haven't seen everything they've had because for the longest

(03:18):
time I didn't have sci Fi. But then I also
recall a bunch of their other like mini series one
in particular, The Lost Room. Loved that mini series. The
ending to that mini series wasn't the greatest. The mini
series itself was great, the ending not so much. The

(03:40):
Phantom that was a two episode mini series. I mean,
I'm not gonna say, actually, you know what actually is
a bad example because the series itself wasn't the greatest either.
It was subpar best, if I'm being honest. But no,
like sci Fi, generally, they have more hit shows and

(04:05):
then mediocre endings. This one to me resident alien to me.
And I know, technically this is USA USA. You know,
they bought they got the rights to it for this

(04:26):
final season they were showing it, but they were also
airing it simultaneously on both USA and sci Fi. But
at the same time, though, like this was originally a
sci fi show, so it's you kind of have a
you know six and one half dozen of the other

(04:47):
This is this episode in particular, like obviously last episode,
they were wrapping up the season storyline. Episode is you know,
they're saying they're goodbyes, it's a series finale, but also

(05:08):
they are kind of wrapping up a lot of serious
threads that some of them I forgot, if I'm being honest.
There's a couple in here that just plumb you know,
they brought they had in season one that I just

(05:32):
completely forgot. There's even a couple from season two that
they brought back, which fine, like nobody, I'm not complaining
about it, but like wasn't expecting it. And then it's
just one of those things where I'm like, Okay, this
is interesting, and I do appreciate their wrapping up there,

(05:54):
but I also feel like some of it just it
felt it felt a little rushed. It felt a little
too clean, if I'm being honest, And maybe maybe that's
just me looking for uh maybe I felt like it

(06:17):
just ended too quickly. Maybe I felt like they could
have did something more. Maybe I honestly wanted more from
the show. I don't know, but here's the thing. Endings
are hard. Like endings are always hard, you know, you
can't always get a good ending, so that and that's
just that's just with anything in general. Like you could

(06:41):
have a great story, you can have a wonderful beginning,
a great middle, and then you get into that final
act and it's just like boggles the mind what happens.
Sometimes it just doesn't land. This one, I felt like
it maybe, you know, following that metaphor, it did kind

(07:04):
of jostle a little bit, but it did. It did
get the landing with a few bumps on the road.
So let's go ahead and hop into it. Like I
said in the past, spoilers ahead. This is the final episode.
So if you haven't watched it yet and you want
to go watch it, it is over on you know,

(07:27):
on demand for USA, on demand for sci Fi, if
you want to watch it over on the Peacock. It
will be out this coming Friday, so or Saturday, whatever
day of this that comes out on not how of
sure because I'm watching out on my sling. But but yeah,
here we go. So we open up with a doctor Ethan. Now,

(07:48):
this is one of the things I'm talking about. Doctor
Ethan was a character from season two. He was a
doctor that took over for Harry when Harry was leaving
at the end of season one. He showed up, actually,
I mean he showed up at the end of season one,
and then when Harry came back in season two, Harry

(08:09):
like kicked him out, got him into a whole different city,
and basically ruined his life, I guess, because that's what
we start out with Harry. Ethan's coming back to Patients
because he thinks Harry ruined his life as that. He's
on the phone with his mom and he's going to
go take revenge. But as he's on the way there,

(08:31):
an alien ship similar to the one that Harry had
so it's from Harry's race, crashes on Ethan's truck, Ethan's
truck and kills him. So Ethan's dead. Yeah, yeah. So anyway,
we get back to town itself and we see Harry

(08:55):
in the diner talking with Dan. He's trying to order
a bunch of pies because he needs them for his
trip to go see Heather at her home world. But
Dan's just like, yeah, I can give you a four pies.
That's about That's about the best I can do. But
then Kayla shows up and talking about how because Harry

(09:19):
is talking about how he's going to just surprise her,
and Kayla's like, yeah, that's really a bad Yeah, women
don't like that. But she's like, hey, you know, I'm
happy that you're gonna be happy, but we are already,
h We've already have a new town doctor in place
for when you leave, so you know we'll be we'll

(09:41):
be good to go. And he's like, I'm sorry, you've
already guys already replaced me, and both her and Dan
are like, yeah, that's kind of what happens. Just because
you leave, you know, we still have to go on.
You know, the town still needs a doctor. So he's
just like he's taken aback, like he I guess he

(10:04):
just figured that they would not do anything like that
because he doesn't want anybody to take his job and
live in his cabin. But you know, the town needs
a doctor, so you know, it is what it is.

(10:25):
We go over to Asta and Darcy and asked us
talking to Darcy about the weird dreams she had about
how Jay was angry with her, and that how Judy
showed up with a wagon full of these books, and
how a spaceship crashed to earth and it was one

(10:48):
of Harry's like from his planet, one of their ships
and darts just like that's so, that's really weird. You
get some weird dreams there and you stop drinking at
night or whatever you guys did. Of course, right at
that moment, Jay shows up and she talks about how
she got into college and Asta is really proud of her,

(11:10):
and so she hands her a present that she had
and then she talks about how you know, she'll be
leaving patients and that she's gonna be going to Amsterdam.
She's gonna be staying with a couple of friends over there,
and it's gonna be staying there for a while. Now.

(11:30):
With that being said, Jay is not happy about this,
that she's gonna be moving halfway across the world and
that's just like, well, I'll be able to come visit.
And Jay's just like that's you know, but that's not
the same, like this is this is whatever, and she just,
you know, she storms out, and then as she's storming out,

(11:52):
Judy comes in and she's like, I don't know what's
going on with her, Like, hey, since you're gonna be
moving out, you mind if I store these books in
your in your closet, and she comes in with a
wagon full of encyclopedias. Why she has encyclopaedia's, I don't know.
It's Judy, she's crazy, but she comes rolling in and

(12:13):
both asked and Judy or Asta and Darcia just like
when I hold on Jay's mad. Judy's got books in
the wagon. We need to go talk to Harry. So
they do, and Harry is looking at Asda like looking
at her eyes, and he's able to figure out that

(12:35):
some of the there's some residual poison left over from
the mantit that's still in her system. It will eventually
wear off, but until it does, she is able to
see the future or multiple timelines. Basically, it's it's it

(12:57):
is what it is. But what that means is that
there actually is another alien from Harry's home world here
on Earth, which I mean we saw on UH at
the very beginning, and it's that's alien is here in patience. So,
because Harry wants to be relevant and wants to prove

(13:20):
that he is important, he declares that he is gonna
go save humanity, so that all three of them hop
into his truck and they're gonna go drive out to
where the spaceship crashed over at the Hawthorns Kate and
Kate comes walking in and tells Ben that that her

(13:42):
parents are going to be coming to visit to meet Bella,
and Ben is like, well, I thought we kind of
talked about this. I you know, we shouldn't let them
meet them just yet, and she's like, well, you know,
we need to, like they kind of did need to
meet their granddaughter at some point in time, and he's like, well,

(14:04):
I know, my parents are kind of very judgmental. He
makes a couple of comments of about her to what
his parents have said about her, and there are some
things that she didn't know that his parents said about her,
and it's also kind of not flattering, if you will.

(14:27):
But while this is also happening, Live shows up and
is talking to Mike in the police station and she
insists that they need to go and the rest Harry,
because Harry had to have murdered the real Harry van
der Spiegel to be able to have looked like the

(14:50):
Harry now, and Mike's just like, you know, we really,
as much as I would like to agree with you,
we really can't prove that for for the most part,
But yeah, now we just I mean we can't. Like
we there's like we just can't. But she is kind

(15:14):
of adam that she you know, she thinks that we
they should. Uh. Even though she is, she still is
upset that now that like she has been the most
like pro alien person that patients and the first time
she gets to meet alien, it tries to kill her.

(15:37):
So she's like she's really having some some she's really
on the right word sling shotting here. Uh, it's it's
it's not doing her any good. So on the road

(15:57):
with Harry Aston Darcy, Uh, they are caught up in
traffic and they realize that there is because it's like
a government blockade. There are soldiers on the blockade talking
to all the cars basically tell them they're going to
turn around, that there actually are on the right path now.

(16:20):
Dadrian said one of the guys that comes up to
the car to Harry's truck, Harry remembered from when he
worked for the government back in season three. Yeah, they
go season three, Yeah, it was season three, and he's
talking to him. He's like, hey, look, we I know

(16:43):
that the ship crashed and we need to go talk
to whoever's in charge because we need we know what's
going on, and so when they do, they meet up
with David Logan and his new partner. David was working
for uh oh, what was her name, General McAllister? There

(17:09):
we go? Who was Linda Hamilton's Hamilton. Yeah, Sarah Connor,
there we go her character. So, yeah, he is in
charge of this thing. And apparently they found this glowing

(17:30):
green ball which is similar to what Harry had it
had crashed in. They found in the field some distance
from the crash, and Harry recognized the immediately. It's it's
what he would have used to eradicate the humans when

(17:50):
he had first gotten there. And so whoever is here
is here to finish a job. And right at the
exact same time, we are in Patience and Max is
walking with Kate down one of the uh one of
the streets, and he sees Ethan, who is the alien

(18:14):
posing as Ethan, and he's like, oh man, not again,
and he's and Kate's just like, what what's going on?
And he points at Ethan and Ethan you actually see
him like turn around and then look back and he's
like there's another alien and you see like a growling,

(18:35):
like mean look on his face, so it's like, okay, okay,
we we know what's going on here. Later on, after
after Max tells Harry what is happening, he meets up
with Ethan at the diner, and Ethan apparently also has

(18:56):
a love for pies, so I think it's just more
of a their race just loves pies or Dan really
makes really good pies, which is also very possible. But
Harry's talking with with Ethan about how he is he
needs basically what's going on, what's going on, and Ethan

(19:18):
informs him that he's here to take over the job
he was off of the job of doctor and he
is going to, you know, finish the job that Harry
couldn't do. There's a fun little back and forth here
where he asks where the tilarium is on Earth and

(19:42):
Harry's like, well, on the Earth, they don't call it tilarium.
They call it ball sack. And Ethan's like, all right,
well I'll take the ballsack and grab it. I'll grab
the ballsack and I'll use it to destroy Earth. And
it's just it's Harry just being funny whatever. But ultimately
Harry is just like, look, humans are actually good, you know,

(20:04):
they have the capacity to change. They're special and I
think you'll you'll see that, you'll you actually come to
to recognize that. And Ethan is just he is like, no,
I don't think I will. And he is dead said

(20:28):
on killing, killing all of earth. So Harry calls everybody
over to the Hawthorns and he is letting them all
know that Ethan is here. Ethan is the alien and
he's going to kill all humans. The thing is, though

(20:49):
Asta has already told everybody, and and Harry is just like, oh,
that's my thing, Well what are you doing? This is
crap either way. Mike is very adamant that he that
he and Live can handle this alien, but Harr's just like,
I don't think you can. You know, he's he's got

(21:12):
special I've got special abilities that can match Ethan. And
you guys have nothing, you know, like I was. I
was able to like all like what do you say?
Like all you have is bullets? And I was able
to run away from those that one time, and they're
like what do you mean one time? And then they
do have a flashback to when they he did that

(21:34):
in season one when they came to his cabin in
season one to arrest him for killing Harry way back when,
and the original Harry Vanish speakle and he's like, yeah,
I I had erased your guys' memories of that when
that happened, and I put some false memories in your head.

(21:57):
And livery remembers having some missing time, and Mike's like,
I didn't have any missing time. What are you talking about?
Like I remember fly fishing with my dad and it's
a great memory. And and Harry's just like, oh, yeah, no,
that's fake memory. And Mike's just like, I'm what, No,

(22:17):
that's not fake. And once he realizes that it is fake,
he he's pissed and he goes to arrest Harry before
the murder of Harry Vantage for the real Harry Vantage, Spiegle,
Astor and Darcy are like, no, that, what are you
guys doing? That's just stupid, Like they need Harry to

(22:38):
help defend Earth. And even at that, like Harry even
like gets the cuffs off him and like kind of
hands him back to live, like just nonchalantly while they're
kind of talking about all this, and he Mike even
at one point is like look like he just yell,

(23:00):
was like I don't I hate you? And I won't
ever want to see you anymore. And so Harry is
just like fine, whatever and just storms out, and Asta
chases after him. So while all that is is happening, Mike,
like those two are gone, Mike is just like, fine,

(23:22):
we don't need them. We could, we could definitely take
on Ethan, we could definitely stop his plan. And he
is blaming. He wants to put the blame on Asta
as well, Like he thinks that they should arrest Asta
for knowing that Harry was an alien. This is the
whole entire time, and you know, letting, letting him do

(23:44):
everything he did. Darcy's just like, well, now hold on,
you know, without Harry, Well well she she goes. She
basically says, you know, Harry. It ultimately gets around to
be the point where Harry. If Harry hadn't been here,

(24:10):
the Hawthorns wouldn't have Bella, Darcy would be in a
bad place. She probably would be potentially dead from alcohol
poisoning or something else. Asta would not have been in
Jay's life, Mike wouldn't actually be in a good spot

(24:31):
with his dad potentially live would potentially not be in
a good spot. For the most part, like ultimately everybody
in town would not be good, like the Grays would
still be kidnapping both Kate and Ben, like Max would

(24:52):
be crazy because he could see aliens and no one
would believe he would possibly be sent somewhere else because
it's parents wouldn't believe him. Like ultimately, Harry coming to
Patience is a good thing. Mike is just like bullshit,
It's no, I don't he's made He's made my life worse.

(25:17):
And he you know, he leaves Asta, for her part,
follows Harry and finds him at the clinic, and he's
trying to find something that he can use to kill
Mike because he hates the fact that somebody hates him,
and so his go to is if I can't make
them like me, I'm going to get rid of them.

(25:40):
It's not a great go to, but it's what he does.
And Asked does like the thing he finds to kill
him though, is baby aspirin, so like obviously he's not
thinking rationally, but Asked does like, all right, look, you
use your big alien brain and then figure something out.

(26:01):
You I know you can do this, and while like
she walks out and what we see here I should
probably mention, well, we see Jay because she had just
popped up and earlier on we see Jay at the diner.
She had opened up her present and in there was

(26:24):
a wooden box full of letters from Asta over the years.
It was literally, i want to say, like letters for
all of Ja Jay's birthdays, all of just random days,
like it was basically anytime Asta won the writer letter
of the Jay she did. She put in the box

(26:46):
and it was chronicling all these big events and Jay
sitting there reading it. It's a very beautiful and touching moment.
And of course, now you know, Ja realizes what's going on,
so Asta is you know, she sees Jay here in

(27:07):
the clinic. Jay comes rounding up, gives her a huge hug,
tells her she loves her, She's gonna miss her, and
she accepts that that Asta will be leaving and going
to Amsterdam. Back at the station, Mike is loading up

(27:32):
his gun a bunch of ammo because he got invited
by Harry to meet him out by the beach, and
so he's going to but he's gonna be you know,
he's gonna be prepared. And so when he gets there,
what he finds is his dad, because his dad also

(27:57):
got invited by Harry to go fly fishing, and Mike
puts it together pretty quickly that this moment was put
together by Harry as a as like a I'm sorry
for what I did, but hey, now you can actually

(28:19):
have this real memory. So is a very touching moment.
And so yeah, he grabs a fishing pole and he
starts to fish with his dad. It's a is a
really good moment like this, I will say, like the
moment with with Jay and the letters, this moment right here,
it's really they're wrapping up these these beautiful moments. It's

(28:39):
really nice. I really like it. It's it's great. So
from here we go to ask us she's she's at
the cemetery. She's visiting with Sam Alther than those guys who
remember Sam if you've watched the show. Sam was the
original doctor of patients before Harry took over and he died,

(29:01):
which is why Harry took over. And so she's visiting
him at the grave. Just talked to her, talking to
him about what's going on. Kate is out on her
jog and she why she's running through her graveyard. It's weird,
but whatever, No, I'm not gonna question it. She sees
Asta thereon she goes and has you know, starts talking

(29:21):
to her. H turns out that Asta is excited to
go to Amsterdam, but she also received an email about
doing some humanitarian work as a nurse down in New Orleans.
So she's trying to figure out what to do, you know,
she doesn't she doesn't even exactly know what to do.

(29:43):
But Kate's just like, well, why do you pick one?
You know you you could do both. You can do
all of it. You know you can figure it out.
It's fine. So we're gonna go to Darcy, who that
get her AA meeting. And I believe I talked about

(30:03):
this in the episode, but I don't recall. There was
a girl there who was talking about skiing and how
she had to give up skiing because of being an alcoholic,
and she like it was either give up skin or

(30:26):
give up give up alcohol, and she was having trouble,
so she was making excuses basically, and Darcy found her
because she's found her videos online and was able to
figure out who she was. And she goes up to
the girl and basically giving her advice and like, hey, look,

(30:46):
if you need help, if you need support, I'll be
here for this, Like I'm I'm the future you. I've
been in your situation. I've been. I've been there. I
had people who were helping me, and it just I
get what you're going through, and I like, my, like

(31:08):
what happened to me, I don't want to see happen
to you. And she even gives her advice of like, hey,
like with your skiing, like you're you're pulling your knees
up too quickly on some of the jumps, Like that's
why you're having some issues. Like she's able to because
of her knowledge, she's able to actually give this girl

(31:30):
some advice. So it's it's a moment that Darcy needed.
It's a moment that this girl might need. It's it's
nice to see, you know, especially some you know Darcy
seeing her grow from the beginning and how far she
had fallen when the season started to now, it was

(31:52):
really nice. You know we saw Kate. By this time,
she's back finish out her run. She met up with
Ben in like downtown and they're talking and she's talking
to him about how she wants to give up teaching
and go back into law full time. He's extremely supportive

(32:15):
of it. You know, he she wasn't. She's basically been
living in survival mode. She wants to stop doing that
and she wants to actually be able to live. And
you know, ever since they figured out that they've been

(32:35):
abducted by aliens, everything's been weird, Like he's it's just
been things have been going on weirdly between all this stuff.
But Kate's like, look, that's that's why I love you.
It's like that's just you know, they're cute coupled together.
But this is this is this is a fun scene.

(32:58):
After they do all this and they agree to what's happen,
like her becoming a lawyer and all that again, they
see the girl Scout from earlier, like like I've said
two or three walking across the street, and so Ben
rushes over the street and confronts her about basically staying

(33:19):
away from his family, which is just like there already
staying away from the family, so you didn't have to
do this. But okay, I think he just wanted to
feel good about himself. But he's just like, if you
if you don't, if you don't stay away from the family,
if you ever come near our family again, I'm gonna

(33:41):
I'm gonna kill you. And then he looks at the
other girls that's with her. It's like, I goes for
all you two and all the other girls are like,
oh god. They run away, and the because he's mayor,
he's basically like, I'm the Mayor. I can do this,
and they're like they're they're scared. They flee and the
girls scout like yeah, they weren't with me, and Kate's

(34:03):
just like, uh, grab all the cookies to go, and
so she grabs like three boxes, two or three boxes
like the fin minutes and then he kicks over her
wagon of cookies and then they both right. It's a
fun scene. So after after all that, we see Mike.

(34:28):
He's walking home and then he gets kidnapped by David
Logan and his partner and he wakes up. Mike wakes
up to them interrogating I got use air quotes. There
him at a secure location, and they want him to

(34:48):
join their operation, the Western Oversight of Non Earthly Phenomena.
He can still be sheriff in patients because he's like,
he's all addingly against it, but once they say that
he can still be sheriff and he'll get his own
special weapons. He's like, I'm on board, like one condition,

(35:12):
that condition being he wants Deputy Lived to be his
partner on this. So naturally they have ducked Live and
she is hesitant at first, she doesn't want to do it,
but she's like all right. Her condition is like, like
I will, I'll do this, but you need to give

(35:33):
me access to the fairy files that you guys have. Now.
David Logan's partner is like you you don't have clearance
to see those files, and Live is like, that's okay.
You just prove to me that fairs are real. I'm
in because she's adamant. You know. A couple upsodes back,

(35:58):
she took Kate to the tree talked about the fairies.
So it was a nice little trick if you will,
to get this like that, like, good on you Live.
So it was really awesome to see that these two
come up in the world, if you will. So that
was that was really cool. So this this is this

(36:21):
is a fun little thing. Harry, Asta and Darcy. Their
plan is to get rid of Bethan. They got they're
gonna try and kill him. So they're gonna have Darcy
and Asta get him drunk and then Harry is going

(36:44):
to reach down his throat and pull out his stomach
is what he said, or his lungs, whichever way his
hand goes. So while they're at the fifty nine the
bar there they start. He starts drinking, starts going. At
one point there is another patron, barb patron, who offers

(37:05):
Ethan his seat. He's like, hey, if you want to
sit here with your friends, I'm getting up, you could
totally do that. And Ethan is like moved by this.
He's like, well, why would why would why would this
guy do that? And Harr's just like it's kindness, like
it's human love, like it's just what they would do.
And he's like, I'm feeling this this weird the motion

(37:29):
and Harry recognizes that immediately. He's like, well maybe I
and then like the narration is saying, this is like
maybe I don't have to kill him. Maybe he'll actually
start become human like I did. And you know, so
what we do get is he grabs Darcy's phone and

(37:54):
he plays he gets Starship by Nick Minaj to play
over the the radio over the jewbox. There we go
basically because that's what happened first episode pilot episode, and
we see Ethan start dancing on dance floor and everybody

(38:15):
like dancing with him. Basically, it's it's to the point where, yeah,
Ethan is gonna become and actually he looks like he's
becoming more human, like faster than what Harry did, so
it's it'll be interesting to see. So yeah, he's he's

(38:39):
very confident that he doesn't need to kill Ethan, Like
the Ethan situation is taking care of. So the next morning,
what we see is Asta sitting at the diner with Dan,
Darcy and Kayla, and she tells them that she's not

(39:01):
gonna be going to Amsterdam now that she's gonna be
going to New Orleans to help with the humanitarian efforts
as a nurse. So you know, she'll still be gone,
but she won't be halfway across the world. Darcy, of course,
still gets emotional. Kayla and Dan tell her that like

(39:25):
the Oots have a saying, and I'm not going to
even a pretend to try and and pronounce how they
say it, but it translates to see you sometime, and
so yeah, so it's not it's not goodbye, it's see
you sometime. So we're getting to the end here and

(39:48):
Harry and astare at cabin and Harry and Bridget they
are almost all packed up, and Harry is very reluctant
to zip up his bag because he knows once he
he's done zipping it up, he has to least and
asked us like, look, you know, he re minds. He
reminds him that, you know, he helped out so many

(40:13):
people in Patience, and he's like, you know, I tried
to help out as many people as I could. You know,
it's just it, he did what he could. He's like, wait,
I gotta do one more thing. He grabs a grabs
a sharpie and he he goes to write something off screen,

(40:35):
and I'll just tell you what this is now. At
the very end, it pans to the cabin and it says,
underneath one of the window sills, Harry was here and
that's where he wrote with it. But yeah, that's I mean,
that's just a fun little scene. But what we do
get here, though, is after he does all that, he

(40:56):
goes outside and everybody, the whole gang, everybody knows he
is an alien, has come to see him. A Bridget
off he he reveals that the government let him take
Ethan ship, he's fixed it up. Max and Sahar come

(41:17):
running up to him. Max gives him a big hug,
and you know, he says he's gonna miss him, and
he tells both of them that they are Earth Protectors
now and that he also says that Ethan is no
longer a threat, but you know, just gotta keep an
eye on it though, because you never know what might

(41:39):
transpire in the future. And he gives Max a device
to call him just in case. And so they go
back and then then Asta and Harry you know, hug,
you know, give themselves a hug. God gives themselves hug
each other, and it's a this is a nice little scene. Yeah,

(42:00):
So Harry and Bridget go up to the ship and
they they wave to each other, waves to everybody, and
they go zipping off, and then we see Darcy and Asta,
you know, saying there goodbyes, and Asda brings up a
story about when they were when Darcy was getting ready

(42:23):
to leave for the Olympics, and about their childhood, about
how one of their teachers talked about how they were
always together and the used to call them Darsta and
so when she had gone, Darcy had gone to the Olympics.
Asta had made a bracelet that said Darsta and gave

(42:46):
it to her, and so Darcy did the same thing.
She actually gave her the bracelet back, and it was
a nice little, nice little thing, of course, not going
to forget each other, and they give each other a
nice little hug and we do get a fun little

(43:07):
like comparison of Aster driving away Harry flying away, and
it's like a back and forth kind of thing, and
it's you know, it's just a it's just a fun
little moment. And that's really really how it ends. Like
I said, that ends with Harry the Harry was here,
sharpy ledged thing. But now this was a this was

(43:32):
a fun series, fun show, fun season. But this one
definitely felt this episode, like I said, it felt like
they wrapped it up quickly. Like Ethan did not feel
like alien Ethan, I should say, didn't feel like a
threat at all. It felt like a non just like

(43:53):
the Oh they needed a quick conflict for whatever reason.
They couldn't have a they couldn't just stretch out the
goodbyes for the entire time. They needed just a little
bit of a conflict for whatever reason. And it wasn't needed.
But the episode was still fun. I still had a

(44:17):
good time overall the whole series, I would I still
loved it, And this would be one I think I've
said it numerous times before. This is one that I
would love that would I could easily put on and
watch again. You know, it's four seasons. I want to say,
I think the first season might have been like twelve

(44:38):
episodes and the rest of like ten or so, So
it's like it's for the ish episodes total, So like
it's not long. You can you could if you wanted to,
you could burn it through it all in the week.
You could definitely binge it all in two if you
really wanted to, but like maybe three, depending on how

(45:01):
much you want to watch it. Like it's it's a
great show. I would definitely recommend if you haven't seen it,
give it a shot. It's a fun show. Alan two
dick Is is obviously a great actor. This would be
one if it if they ever do a like a

(45:22):
complete series release, I would probably get this on Blu
Ray by the way, I have in my collection. Yeah no,
it's I'm I'm sad to see it go, But I
also like that they they went out on their own
like they didn't get canceled. This was going out on
their own volition. They knew they were gonna get four

(45:45):
seasons or they knew this will give me the last season,
and they were like, this is how we're telling the story,
this is how we're ending it done. You cannot tell
me that USA canceled this show like three weeks ago.
They they may have been told they were canceling it
this last beginning of the season and they're like, all right, cool,

(46:05):
we're gonna write this season like it's ending. But like,
you cannot tell me three or four weeks ago that
they were told this show is being canceled and they
reworked that final episode. No, that's not happening. They knew
that this was their last season, and they definitely guaranteed
this was going out with a bang. So No, this

(46:29):
was a great show, great series. I loved it so
but that still that's all I got. So thank you
all for listening to my resident Alien coverage, and we
will talk to you guys next time.
