Today we're taking a look at Justice League Unlimited season
two episode three and season two episode four, The Doomsday
Sanctioned and Task Force X two fantastic episodes that I
cannot wait to get into. Before we do all that,

Before we get into it, quick little update. The fires.
Most of them are contained. We've gotten rain, yeay, Although
we still smell a little bit of smoke. It's a

lot better, suffice to say so. I think we're gonna
keep We're gonna escape this unscathe here and there. I
think over one hundred homes were lost in one of
the fires. I'm not sure which one. I think the
one in western new Land. So yeah, it's been a
bit of pretty chaotic middle Well August month, I guess

we'll say for fires here, and yeah, thanks to see
that in the rear mirror, and now we get to
look forward to all the snow in the winter.

Yay, But just look at the positive.

So yeah, I won't I don't think we'll have any
more me missing dec alliances or animation nations because of fires.
It's basically the gist of this. So let's jump into
these episodes. The first one we have is season two,
episode three, the Doomsday Sanction, and I always laugh at

the writing table of evilness that is there, basically poo
pooing down on that really really weird scientist. I think
he was in an older episode two, if I'm not mistaken.
So let's jump right into this. So Waller is at
her home. She got all kinds of security where's pretty
(04:56):
high tech. She sees Luther's gonna be president, and then
she goes to get a shower. When she gets out,
Batman's holding the tower towels and we need to have
a talk, so bad ass. So they have a little
back and forth. Batman shows that he knows all her
stuff after the last time when she said, like rich boy, ah,
he knows all the secret work she's doing against the

Justice League, and she basically tells her and tells him that, yeah,
you know, has Superman got the pirate and for Lake
Leather he had to tell us about his other worldly
adventure and the other group of you guys that took
down in the government with only seven of you.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Uh. And should you.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Guys ever go a rogue, like do you know the
simulations we've done that we don't fare too well with
the cadmus knives she had, we have a chance to
defend herself. And Batman's like against austly and he basically
warns her like if you attack like my friends like that,
I'm coming for you, and while her stands it up
(05:53):
and he leaves, and then she's shaking her hand when
she's trying to get the alarm set off.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Uh, And she's not she's shocked by that.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
She didn't like she hasn'tcountered too many people that have
been able to timidate her, but Batman, Batman getting in
without her having any clue. Batman done that a couple
of times in this episode, and it's fantastic.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
It's just like ship's kiss for Batman. So Batman goes
back up.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
And gives them four on one to the rest of
the league, who's sitting round the table, well, all the
seven founding members essentially.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Assuming is like, I can't there's no funding for candamously,
we can't. We can't find it. H And Batman's like, yeah,
I'm having my people look at it, but I can't
find anything. And they think that it's loose or it's
the possibility. But Batman's like, I can't get anything. He's
like I had the question on it, and everyone's like,
oh God, not him, and He's like, yeah, he can
be a bit out there, but if anyone can find
(06:45):
a link between two, it's definitely him.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
And usually it's pretty easy to see that Batman's glue
of this Justice League.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Uh. And then while this is going on, while I
was holding like the.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Council of Evil, uh, talking about everybody's progress before and
then doctor Milo I think is his name, uh if
I remember correctly, and I'm trying to think, I think
he was in something before, like, uh, Batman, I feel
like he has something to do with.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Uh.

It was old Batman the animated series episode, I think, uh,
and yeah, so he I'm pretty sure he's in the
past if I do recall, although he's just quite the
quite the loser, and yeah, they gets uh they she
puts the puts the four like puts the hammer down
on him, and she's like, yeah, you're done. You'll be

putt into a civilian type job. And uh, if you
speak of this, you will be sanctioned. And yeah, he's
out there on the way out. He slides into Doomsday's chamber.
Uh and and yeah, that's the one that the Justice
Lord Superman basically lobotomized and Marlow immediately is like, yeah,

I know you're faking like it's healed completely. I can
see that, and Doomsday I was like yeah, but realizes
that yeah, okay, I can be I can to take
like I basically use this guy to my advantage.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Milo gives him the lod.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
On his history that he was a clone field clone
of Superman by Emil Hamilton and Hamilton and Waller.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Basically conditioned to hate Superman and.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Who I think who goes strange was part of that too,
And yeah, he said it wasn't Superman, it was nim
who did this, and they realized he was too powerful.
They sent him into space and he destroyed the rocket
and it came back then Earth and that's when he
fought the Justice Lords. And uh, this shows too that

even though while to me anyway, even though Waller said
it was because of the Justice Lords that they started.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Cadmus, you can tell right now.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
That if they created Doomsday, they were doing this before
they found out about Superman going over there, because the
Justice Lords take out Doomsday before Superman goes to get
Lex slethor so. In reality, even though they said that

it was a reaction to what Superman said, that is
bull crap from this episode. And I'm pretty sure Mila
is realizing this, and yeah, so they don't even I
don't even think they realize this in the episode. So yeah,
he says, yeah, will you if you get out, will
you be able to take the name for me? And
(09:52):
they's like yeah, let's Maut and he's like, I'll solve
your problems, kills them easily, and then he's like, yeah, okay,
now I can going back to killing Superman. And while
this is album around Justice League over we're trying to
basically take down an active volcano that's going out of control.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
It's going to destroy people.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
It's very pompeii Ish to me, And yeah, I think
I can't Sam. I can't remember what the island is called.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
But wonder Woman a flash her there. They're all going
through plants to try to get them out, and Superman's
going through.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Holes in the volcano to try to stir the path
of the laba so that it doesn't you roup. It's
doing a good job until Doomsday arrives and the battle
basically threatens to to take to essentially just destroy a.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Whole island, make it all explode. So Hi Whiler.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Finds out that Doomsday got out, and then she finds
she goes to island and says, like, take care of Doomsday.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
You don't.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
She doesn't care how and Iley immediately is like, Okay,
I'm gonna take this and go to twelve with this,
and I mean doesn't consult with anybody and sends a
nuclear cruise missile UH with krystinite laced with kryptonite to
to to the odland and John's there in the watch
Tower and the text the missile and it's like it
tells Batman and Batman Colls while a're out her super
(11:23):
bat phone that she has that looks like almost like
a boom tube uh that she pulls out of her
drawer and she thinks it's the president. The only president
got that line. She said, hello, mister President. Batman's like
coft the co offt the missile.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Now. She's like, how did you get this? And he's like,
you got a missiles in.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
To San Quentin, like you know or saying I can't
remember now saying or whatever the island and like if
anybody dies that, I'm gonna hold you.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Personally responsibily hangs out me with that.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Johnny's like she didn't know, but the missile and she
tries to play cool with him.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Batman knows obviously, and she snaps. She goes to isling
and she is not a happy camper before she goes island.
No Batman uh.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Gihon's like Captain Adams like he can get there, and
Batman's like his speed, he he won't get there in time.
He runs pushed everyone a way, jumps into the javelin
and takes off to uh to catch up, and he
uses the burning up on re entry in space to
speed him up and John's like a if you, if you,
(12:26):
if you don't break a parate, He doesn't break a part,
and he starts going full speed towards the missile. And
that's when Waller goes and just gives eye Oli the
Business islands, like, you know, we needed to take care
of Doomsday. We also needed to get the Superman eventually,
and we also have drug traffic problem in the on
(12:49):
the island, so I feel like we get three birds
with one stone. And she's like, yeah, no this, She's
like shut down. And He's like if I can't, I
if I could, I if I could, if I even
if I could, I I can't, or even if I
wanted to, I can't.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
That's what he said.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
So yeah, Batman goes off to get the missile. He
shoots the he shoots missiles at it, but they're protected
by a field, so he reverses the charge on the javelin,
picks up like basically magnetically grabs the missile, flies it
over the island, ejects, and missile blows up and doesn't
kill anybody. John's like Batman, Batman, and you don't hear
(13:29):
anything from Batman. And while we'll go back to the Island,
Superman and Doomsday. Superman is taking a good beating his eyes.
He can barely use his eyes. At one point they
punched him right in the eyes. Superman tried to bottomize him,
but they can't get me like this twice and Superman.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Just gives him the business.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
He uses uh like a rageous combination and throws him
into the volcano, causing a gigantic explosion. And Superman's like
just basically gives up and like he's gonna die, and
Wonder Woman saves him, and yeah, we go back to
the Watchtower where the five five of the Seven are
there with the Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman, John Jones, and
(14:13):
Green Lantern are there with Doomsdayy's like, I'm gonna kill
you at some point, uh do Superman is trying to
tell him you were used by Chasmic Cadmus and Tunesday
won't say and he's just like, I'm gonna kill him
at some point, I don't get out and I'm gonna
kill you, and.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
He says it to the Phantom Zone.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Ah, and Batman is really worse for wear, you know,
I see you there.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
He's not well, he's not really worse.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
He's not like any internal injuries, but he got a
desirement sling.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
He's bandaged up.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
It's uh, he's not very happy that Superman to the
phantom zone.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
That this is one of the things that Cadmus fears.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Uh, and he's he looks at Superman's like, what do
you do if like Luthor becomes president?
Speaker 3 (14:56):
And Superman's like, Lee will never cross that line. You
don't have to worry.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
And Bruce is just in darkness and looks out and
sees not a commercial for Loser campaign as the episode in,
and he knows, like this is not good. This is
not good at all. And this was a great episode.
This was We had a great fight between Doomsday and Superman.
We had Batman doing several Batman things like showing up
(15:21):
on Waller twice study she didn't know and saving everybody's.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
But uh, yeah, it was. This was a nine out
of ten episode. This was a fantastic episode and it
just moved the line and the story at a great pace. Yeah,
and I was looking up my though.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
So he did appear in uh one episode of Batman
the Enemy ad series, and he was referenced in another episode.
So yeah, that that this was such a good episode.
So we'll take our only at break of the evening

not a really fun episode that's completely different than basically.

And yeah, it's Task Force X and they're trying to
read the watch tower. So we basically open up with
dead Shot, who we've seen in the past in Justice League,
being brought down to the chair to die, but Rick
Flagg is there with handwritten orders that he gives to

the warden, and lot's going.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
With Rick Flagg.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
He basically asked brick Flag if he enjoyed his last meal,
and Rick Flegg said yes, it was really good, and
he's like, okay, it was in laced with Nana nits
and yeah, if you try to take off.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Your head will explode, so you look really weird. Try
and get it away. And yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
He is part of the new crew that includes Captain Boomerang,
Plastic and the Clock King and Clock King's hilarious because
he's not even part of the Florida inter but he
is part of the crew in terms of planning.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
So yeah, they're going to break into Justice League headquarters
and we're not told what they want to steal and
help me see the actual item, which is pretty cool.
So yeah, there their headquarters.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
There's an old rest, old restaurant, an old warehouse that
used to be a part of Lex Corp. And pretty
good for superhero surveillance, like they superheroes will not be around.
Is essentially the gist of what we got here, and
Latin gets introduced the rest of tests for sex and uh,
(18:12):
all the all four the criminals are basically offered like
to get out of jail, they can perform for exchange
or they're like, you know, you get we get this
job done. That's what they think they're told, but they
find it.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
A different thing towards the end.

Uh, So they're they go there's offensive support staff and
the watch Tower of humans that helped the watch Tower go,
So they are going to infiltrate those people. The three people,
three superheroes that you get to worry about up there
at this time. Our Green Lantern Captain Adham and John Jones,

and Flags like no killing under any circumstances.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
There is no killing at all. Ah, and Clocking is
going to be the guy into chair while these guys
are getting this done, and they there's a group of
four that get go up. The squad takes thebod out,
they all replace them and then they go up.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
The flag has these weird change bond type glasses, and
so when he goes to scam plan.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
When they go to the scam plastics charate use the
cause of the malfunction.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
They're like, we gotta wait till we get it down
to check this, and Flags like, okay, that's all right.
You just have to explain this to John while we're
so late. And the guy was like, oh my god,
and let him go immediately. And they got to split up.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
So did Shot and Plastic go one way, Flag and
boom Rang go the other way.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
They're going to a high like the to get the asset,
while boom Rang and did Shot are going to provide
the essential distraction.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
So Flag and boom Rang get into their spot.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
They wait and then Plastic sets the explosion, bloom Rang
throws the boom Rang at the same time and Also
there's a really cool shot when they're coming in and
they get into the elether first time.

They all reveal things they have hidden on him when they.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Came up with all their weapons, and that's Flag doesn't
have any premis like, yeah, he doesn't even any So
this was really fun. And there's a radiation leak from
the explosion that Plastic caused, so Captain Adam he isn't
going to do that and that's why it caused the
explosion there, and he lets John Jones know, like, yeah, this,
I'll get it handled.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
This was this was.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Done like on purpose though, and you get dead Shot
and Plastic trying to catch up with Flag and Boomerang
who got into the armory and stole the annihilator, which
is essentially the exact same armor that thorified. In my
opinion that that's what that remonded me of. It's exact
(20:51):
same thing. And I don't think we've seen this in wait,
yes we did, we saw this in an early episode.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Uh, and yeah, this is an aries weapon.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
So he punches them, ready to get an operational'll get
some going with them, and they're on their way out there.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
It looks like all positions go for them.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
They're they're they're gonna get out of there, and no,
unfortunately they run into uh the shotting Knight vigilante and
uh captain that no, Adam Smasher.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
Adam Smasher because he's giant.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
And it's a good battle back and forth, but unfortunately
they get defeated. They get to the bridge and they
see John, who takes somebody one by one pretty easily
until the annihilader steps in and rip some rips John
and hath. John gets back in the fight. It's a
good back and forth. He sends the sends inn on
their back. It looks like he's gonna get the job done.
(21:46):
But Plastics there and she's gonna uh put the bomb
in Adam Smasher and uh he backs down. He's like, no, okay, yeah,
that's that's dumb.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
Won't do that.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Captain Adam jumps in and tackles her and the bottom
goes flying up in the air and Deshat shoots it
and blows it up to give them a chance to escape,
and they do escape with the Viihilator. Plastic is left
behind unfortunately, and John goes to get the coordinates back
(22:19):
for where they went and it explodes in his face.
He like down the side of everything, and Flagg is
doing all this obviously for Amanda Wyler.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
She gives anoilator over to her and that weird. I
can't even remember her name. I know she joins Lex
in the later seasons in the Regional Doom she went
Grid too. Tala I think is her name, but if
I think it's Tala, I think it is. So basically.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
She's given her to get rid of the weakness of
the Erber.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
So, yeah, this was this was pretty good. This was
uh she this was a pretty good thing here she
gives it what Waller's like, good job, Flag, your father
would be proud of you. And did Chat's like, okay,
well this was great, see later guys and gets ready
to take off. But Flagged was in the right hope
since the night. He's pissed off that he took off

with a plastic leave no man behind, and he's like, yeah, sorry.

When you are join up in Tasks X, you're here
for five years. If you happen to survive those five years,
then you can go free. And otherwise the shares where
you be a bactor and did did Child's like, what
does Waller have on you didn't flag and flags like nothing.

To serve their country. Basically did the big salute at
the same time and the closed John discovers the person
that was the inside job guy, a little smiles guy.

And yet they were able to he was able to
give the information to Cadmus. Pitty gave him some stuff
to resist John's te tell pathic abilities and mask his thoughts.
So John's pissed off. He might have some right white
white burns mind completely but John's like, you know, you
kind of a little bit here and he's like, we

can't trust anyone anymore. He looks and it shows all
the staff blocking around and they're like, oh crap. So yeah,
this was This was a really good episode. Another fantastic,
like all around.

And no nothing, not a whole lot with superheroes, a
lot from the Task Force X side of things.

This was great.

Before we get into it, quick little update. The fires.
Most of them are contained. We've gotten rain, yeay, Although
we still smell a little bit of smoke. It's a

lot better, suffice to say so. I think we're gonna
keep We're gonna escape this unscathe here and there. I
think over one hundred homes were lost in one of
the fires. I'm not sure which one. I think the
one in western new Land. So yeah, it's been a
bit of pretty chaotic middle Well August month, I guess

we'll say for fires here, and yeah, thanks to see
that in the rear mirror, and now we get to
look forward to all the snow in the winter.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Yay, But just look at the positive.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
So yeah, I won't I don't think we'll have any
more me missing dec alliances or animation nations because of fires.
It's basically the gist of this. So let's jump into
these episodes. The first one we have is season two,
episode three, the Doomsday Sanction, and I always laugh at
(04:34):
the writing table of evilness that is there, basically poo
pooing down on that really really weird scientist. I think
he was in an older episode two, if I'm not mistaken.
So let's jump right into this. So Waller is at
her home. She got all kinds of security where's pretty
(04:56):
high tech. She sees Luther's gonna be president, and then
she goes to get a shower. When she gets out,
Batman's holding the tower towels and we need to have
a talk, so bad ass. So they have a little
back and forth. Batman shows that he knows all her
stuff after the last time when she said, like rich boy, ah,
he knows all the secret work she's doing against the

Justice League, and she basically tells her and tells him that, yeah,
you know, has Superman got the pirate and for Lake
Leather he had to tell us about his other worldly
adventure and the other group of you guys that took
down in the government with only seven of you.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Uh. And should you.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Guys ever go a rogue, like do you know the
simulations we've done that we don't fare too well with
the cadmus knives she had, we have a chance to
defend herself. And Batman's like against austly and he basically
warns her like if you attack like my friends like that,
I'm coming for you, and while her stands it up
(05:53):
and he leaves, and then she's shaking her hand when
she's trying to get the alarm set off.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Uh, And she's not she's shocked by that.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
She didn't like she hasn'tcountered too many people that have
been able to timidate her, but Batman, Batman getting in
without her having any clue. Batman done that a couple
of times in this episode, and it's fantastic.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
It's just like ship's kiss for Batman. So Batman goes
back up.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
And gives them four on one to the rest of
the league, who's sitting round the table, well, all the
seven founding members essentially.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Assuming is like, I can't there's no funding for candamously,
we can't. We can't find it. H And Batman's like, yeah,
I'm having my people look at it, but I can't
find anything. And they think that it's loose or it's
the possibility. But Batman's like, I can't get anything. He's
like I had the question on it, and everyone's like,
oh God, not him, and He's like, yeah, he can
be a bit out there, but if anyone can find
(06:45):
a link between two, it's definitely him.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
And usually it's pretty easy to see that Batman's glue
of this Justice League.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Uh. And then while this is going on, while I
was holding like the.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Council of Evil, uh, talking about everybody's progress before and
then doctor Milo I think is his name, uh if
I remember correctly, and I'm trying to think, I think
he was in something before, like, uh, Batman, I feel
like he has something to do with.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
It was old Batman the animated series episode, I think, uh,
and yeah, so he I'm pretty sure he's in the
past if I do recall, although he's just quite the
quite the loser, and yeah, they gets uh they she
puts the puts the four like puts the hammer down
on him, and she's like, yeah, you're done. You'll be
(07:45):
putt into a civilian type job. And uh, if you
speak of this, you will be sanctioned. And yeah, he's
out there on the way out. He slides into Doomsday's chamber.
Uh and and yeah, that's the one that the Justice
Lord Superman basically lobotomized and Marlow immediately is like, yeah,
(08:09):
I know you're faking like it's healed completely. I can
see that, and Doomsday I was like yeah, but realizes
that yeah, okay, I can be I can to take
like I basically use this guy to my advantage.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Milo gives him the lod.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
On his history that he was a clone field clone
of Superman by Emil Hamilton and Hamilton and Waller.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Basically conditioned to hate Superman and.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Who I think who goes strange was part of that too,
And yeah, he said it wasn't Superman, it was nim
who did this, and they realized he was too powerful.
They sent him into space and he destroyed the rocket
and it came back then Earth and that's when he
fought the Justice Lords. And uh, this shows too that
(09:01):
even though while to me anyway, even though Waller said
it was because of the Justice Lords that they started.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Cadmus, you can tell right now.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
That if they created Doomsday, they were doing this before
they found out about Superman going over there, because the
Justice Lords take out Doomsday before Superman goes to get
Lex slethor so. In reality, even though they said that
(09:31):
it was a reaction to what Superman said, that is
bull crap from this episode. And I'm pretty sure Mila
is realizing this, and yeah, so they don't even I
don't even think they realize this in the episode. So yeah,
he says, yeah, will you if you get out, will
you be able to take the name for me? And
(09:52):
they's like yeah, let's Maut and he's like, I'll solve
your problems, kills them easily, and then he's like, yeah, okay,
now I can going back to killing Superman. And while
this is album around Justice League over we're trying to
basically take down an active volcano that's going out of control.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
It's going to destroy people.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
It's very pompeii Ish to me, And yeah, I think
I can't Sam. I can't remember what the island is called.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
But wonder Woman a flash her there. They're all going
through plants to try to get them out, and Superman's
going through.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Holes in the volcano to try to stir the path
of the laba so that it doesn't you roup. It's
doing a good job until Doomsday arrives and the battle
basically threatens to to take to essentially just destroy a.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Whole island, make it all explode. So Hi Whiler.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Finds out that Doomsday got out, and then she finds
she goes to island and says, like, take care of Doomsday.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
You don't.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
She doesn't care how and Iley immediately is like, Okay,
I'm gonna take this and go to twelve with this,
and I mean doesn't consult with anybody and sends a
nuclear cruise missile UH with krystinite laced with kryptonite to
to to the odland and John's there in the watch
Tower and the text the missile and it's like it
tells Batman and Batman Colls while a're out her super
(11:23):
bat phone that she has that looks like almost like
a boom tube uh that she pulls out of her
drawer and she thinks it's the president. The only president
got that line. She said, hello, mister President. Batman's like
coft the co offt the missile.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Now. She's like, how did you get this? And he's like,
you got a missiles in.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
To San Quentin, like you know or saying I can't
remember now saying or whatever the island and like if
anybody dies that, I'm gonna hold you.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Personally responsibily hangs out me with that.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Johnny's like she didn't know, but the missile and she
tries to play cool with him.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Batman knows obviously, and she snaps. She goes to isling
and she is not a happy camper before she goes island.
No Batman uh.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Gihon's like Captain Adams like he can get there, and
Batman's like his speed, he he won't get there in time.
He runs pushed everyone a way, jumps into the javelin
and takes off to uh to catch up, and he
uses the burning up on re entry in space to
speed him up and John's like a if you, if you,
(12:26):
if you don't break a parate, He doesn't break a part,
and he starts going full speed towards the missile. And
that's when Waller goes and just gives eye Oli the
Business islands, like, you know, we needed to take care
of Doomsday. We also needed to get the Superman eventually,
and we also have drug traffic problem in the on
(12:49):
the island, so I feel like we get three birds
with one stone. And she's like, yeah, no this, She's
like shut down. And He's like if I can't, I
if I could, I if I could, if I even
if I could, I I can't, or even if I
wanted to, I can't.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
That's what he said.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
So yeah, Batman goes off to get the missile. He
shoots the he shoots missiles at it, but they're protected
by a field, so he reverses the charge on the javelin,
picks up like basically magnetically grabs the missile, flies it
over the island, ejects, and missile blows up and doesn't
kill anybody. John's like Batman, Batman, and you don't hear
(13:29):
anything from Batman. And while we'll go back to the Island,
Superman and Doomsday. Superman is taking a good beating his eyes.
He can barely use his eyes. At one point they
punched him right in the eyes. Superman tried to bottomize him,
but they can't get me like this twice and Superman.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Just gives him the business.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
He uses uh like a rageous combination and throws him
into the volcano, causing a gigantic explosion. And Superman's like
just basically gives up and like he's gonna die, and
Wonder Woman saves him, and yeah, we go back to
the Watchtower where the five five of the Seven are
there with the Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman, John Jones, and
(14:13):
Green Lantern are there with Doomsdayy's like, I'm gonna kill
you at some point, uh do Superman is trying to
tell him you were used by Chasmic Cadmus and Tunesday
won't say and he's just like, I'm gonna kill him
at some point, I don't get out and I'm gonna
kill you, and.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
He says it to the Phantom Zone.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Ah, and Batman is really worse for wear, you know,
I see you there.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
He's not well, he's not really worse.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
He's not like any internal injuries, but he got a
desirement sling.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
He's bandaged up.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
It's uh, he's not very happy that Superman to the
phantom zone.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
That this is one of the things that Cadmus fears.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Uh, and he's he looks at Superman's like, what do
you do if like Luthor becomes president?
Speaker 3 (14:56):
And Superman's like, Lee will never cross that line. You
don't have to worry.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
And Bruce is just in darkness and looks out and
sees not a commercial for Loser campaign as the episode in,
and he knows, like this is not good. This is
not good at all. And this was a great episode.
This was We had a great fight between Doomsday and Superman.
We had Batman doing several Batman things like showing up
(15:21):
on Waller twice study she didn't know and saving everybody's.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
But uh, yeah, it was. This was a nine out
of ten episode. This was a fantastic episode and it
just moved the line and the story at a great pace. Yeah,
and I was looking up my though.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
So he did appear in uh one episode of Batman
the Enemy ad series, and he was referenced in another episode.
So yeah, that that this was such a good episode.
So we'll take our only at break of the evening

Justice League Season two, Episode four, task Force X. So

not a really fun episode that's completely different than basically.

And yeah, it's Task Force X and they're trying to
read the watch tower. So we basically open up with
dead Shot, who we've seen in the past in Justice League,
being brought down to the chair to die, but Rick
Flagg is there with handwritten orders that he gives to

the warden, and lot's going.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
With Rick Flagg.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
He basically asked brick Flag if he enjoyed his last meal,
and Rick Flegg said yes, it was really good, and
he's like, okay, it was in laced with Nana nits
and yeah, if you try to take off.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Your head will explode, so you look really weird. Try
and get it away. And yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
He is part of the new crew that includes Captain Boomerang,
Plastic and the Clock King and Clock King's hilarious because
he's not even part of the Florida inter but he
is part of the crew in terms of planning.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
So yeah, they're going to break into Justice League headquarters
and we're not told what they want to steal and
help me see the actual item, which is pretty cool.
So yeah, there their headquarters.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
There's an old rest, old restaurant, an old warehouse that
used to be a part of Lex Corp. And pretty
good for superhero surveillance, like they superheroes will not be around.
Is essentially the gist of what we got here, and
Latin gets introduced the rest of tests for sex and uh,
(18:12):
all the all four the criminals are basically offered like
to get out of jail, they can perform for exchange
or they're like, you know, you get we get this
job done. That's what they think they're told, but they
find it.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
A different thing towards the end.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Uh, So they're they go there's offensive support staff and
the watch Tower of humans that helped the watch Tower go,
So they are going to infiltrate those people. The three people,
three superheroes that you get to worry about up there
at this time. Our Green Lantern Captain Adham and John Jones,
(18:50):
and Flags like no killing under any circumstances.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
There is no killing at all. Ah, and Clocking is
going to be the guy into chair while these guys
are getting this done, and they there's a group of
four that get go up. The squad takes thebod out,
they all replace them and then they go up.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
The flag has these weird change bond type glasses, and
so when he goes to scam plan.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
When they go to the scam plastics charate use the
cause of the malfunction.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
They're like, we gotta wait till we get it down
to check this, and Flags like, okay, that's all right.
You just have to explain this to John while we're
so late. And the guy was like, oh my god,
and let him go immediately. And they got to split up.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
So did Shot and Plastic go one way, Flag and
boom Rang go the other way.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
They're going to a high like the to get the asset,
while boom Rang and did Shot are going to provide
the essential distraction.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
So Flag and boom Rang get into their spot.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
They wait and then Plastic sets the explosion, bloom Rang
throws the boom Rang at the same time and Also
there's a really cool shot when they're coming in and
they get into the elether first time.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
They all reveal things they have hidden on him when they.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Came up with all their weapons, and that's Flag doesn't
have any premis like, yeah, he doesn't even any So
this was really fun. And there's a radiation leak from
the explosion that Plastic caused, so Captain Adam he isn't
going to do that and that's why it caused the
explosion there, and he lets John Jones know, like, yeah, this,
I'll get it handled.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
This was this was.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Done like on purpose though, and you get dead Shot
and Plastic trying to catch up with Flag and Boomerang
who got into the armory and stole the annihilator, which
is essentially the exact same armor that thorified. In my
opinion that that's what that remonded me of. It's exact
(20:51):
same thing. And I don't think we've seen this in wait,
yes we did, we saw this in an early episode.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Uh, and yeah, this is an aries weapon.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
So he punches them, ready to get an operational'll get
some going with them, and they're on their way out there.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
It looks like all positions go for them.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
They're they're they're gonna get out of there, and no,
unfortunately they run into uh the shotting Knight vigilante and
uh captain that no, Adam Smasher.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
Adam Smasher because he's giant.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
And it's a good battle back and forth, but unfortunately
they get defeated. They get to the bridge and they
see John, who takes somebody one by one pretty easily
until the annihilader steps in and rip some rips John
and hath. John gets back in the fight. It's a
good back and forth. He sends the sends inn on
their back. It looks like he's gonna get the job done.
(21:46):
But Plastics there and she's gonna uh put the bomb
in Adam Smasher and uh he backs down. He's like, no, okay, yeah,
that's that's dumb.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
Won't do that.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Captain Adam jumps in and tackles her and the bottom
goes flying up in the air and Deshat shoots it
and blows it up to give them a chance to escape,
and they do escape with the Viihilator. Plastic is left
behind unfortunately, and John goes to get the coordinates back
(22:19):
for where they went and it explodes in his face.
He like down the side of everything, and Flagg is
doing all this obviously for Amanda Wyler.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
She gives anoilator over to her and that weird. I
can't even remember her name. I know she joins Lex
in the later seasons in the Regional Doom she went
Grid too. Tala I think is her name, but if
I think it's Tala, I think it is. So basically.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
She's given her to get rid of the weakness of
the Erber.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
So, yeah, this was this was pretty good. This was
uh she this was a pretty good thing here she
gives it what Waller's like, good job, Flag, your father
would be proud of you. And did Chat's like, okay,
well this was great, see later guys and gets ready
to take off. But Flagged was in the right hope
since the night. He's pissed off that he took off
(23:22):
with a plastic leave no man behind, and he's like, yeah, sorry.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
When you are join up in Tasks X, you're here
for five years. If you happen to survive those five years,
then you can go free. And otherwise the shares where
you be a bactor and did did Child's like, what
does Waller have on you didn't flag and flags like nothing.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Some people just want.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
To serve their country. Basically did the big salute at
the same time and the closed John discovers the person
that was the inside job guy, a little smiles guy.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Named Van So I think his name is and Vance
or Vern maybe Vern I think his name is.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
And yet they were able to he was able to
give the information to Cadmus. Pitty gave him some stuff
to resist John's te tell pathic abilities and mask his thoughts.
So John's pissed off. He might have some right white
white burns mind completely but John's like, you know, you
kind of a little bit here and he's like, we
(24:26):
can't trust anyone anymore. He looks and it shows all
the staff blocking around and they're like, oh crap. So yeah,
this was This was a really good episode. Another fantastic,
like all around.

And no nothing, not a whole lot with superheroes, a
lot from the Task Force X side of things.

This was great.
