Welcome doctor Tiffany.

She's a Navy veteran OBGYN, singer, songwriter, playwright, and children's

forgot to welcome you formally with the applause.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
And it's a very special data.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Today it is celebrating a the laesus birthdays and that
is not just one of us, but both of us.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
But today it's actually the actual day of my co
host birthday. So we decided that today we would do
a birthday show.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
So happy birthday to us both.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
You get to celebrate with us, so have a seat
to go, get some cake.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
And celebrate with us.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
We are going to start though, with our gratitude sandwich,
because just because it's our birthdays doesn't mean we fall
out of practice with this good life habit taking a
bite of my gratitude sandwich for breakfast on our birthday
days on top of the butun things that were grateful
for outside of ourselves, and bond of the bun things
(02:51):
were grateful for inside of ourselves otherwise as appreciations.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
So, doctor Tiffany, what are you grateful for?
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I am grateful to be blessed with another year of life.
We should not take life for granted because a lot
of people did not wake up today, and I think
it's important to seize the day. Car pay DM.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Absolutely, I am grateful.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
That I am just I live every day like it
is my birthday.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
And I know for us Leo's we actually.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Live our days for the whole month a birthday, but
I've now extended it to every single day because that
really wonderful feeling up, feeling special and honored. I want
you all to feel that every day, and I do
feel that pretty much every day.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yeah, absolutely, absolutely, And I am grateful because this past
weekend I had the opportunity co unity to go to
Palm Springs and take the tram up to the Palm
Springs Mountain and if you haven't had the opportunity to
(04:14):
do that and go on a nature walk and look
at the beautiful trees up there and look at the
beautiful birds. And it was a wonderful experience. And they
have different volunteers and Dave Hammer was my volunteer who
(04:35):
is a special friend of mine, and he is very
knowledgeable and he took the time to explain everything to
our group and he was an awesome park ranger volunteer.
And if you have the opportunity to visit Palm Springs
and take that tram, I highly recommend it. It's a
wonderful tourist y sounds great.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
I'm grateful that I I am eighty eight percent unpacked.
My girlfriend Amory's coming over today after the show to
help put up pictures, which is usually.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
The last step. And I just found a.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Cleaner to hire in the building, so I'll be all
ready for my birthday party on Sunday. And I think
all my co hosts are going to try to stop by,
so that'll be fun. And I get my favorite cake,
which is the very chantilely cake from Whole Foods. And
(05:33):
I got to get something for always saying saying it's
it's one of the I and I'm like, not a
real sweet eater.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I'm sweet, but I'm not a sweet eater.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
But it's like not too sweet and it's so yummy,
So I enjoy that part of my birthday for sure.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Well big is this party going to be?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
How big is a party going to be? I don't know.
I kind of lost count of how.
Speaker 6 (05:58):
Many, but I know I usually don't throw parties because
it's so much work, and then you're the hostess and
you don't.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Really have a lot of fun because you're more concerned
about as everybody you know happy and blah blah blah.
But because of the blood clot and I wasn't going
to be here on my birthday.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
I was going to be in Africa, but instead I'm.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Here, so I thought, you know what, I'm going to
have a freaking party, a forking party to silver lining
the blood clot.
Speaker 7 (06:34):
So there you go, absolutely absolutely, and I think that
you again seize the day, enjoy it, celebrate life like
we leos tend to do.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Uh huh. And we're going to talk about that for
the show and birthdays and maybe look into a little astrology.
My my daughter took that book on my birthday, but
maybe I'll find it online. But let's go to the
bottom of the one, which is to celebrate who we
are as we are on the inside. What do you
(07:09):
like about yourself If you grew up with well meaning
parents who sometimes are a.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Little more mean than well and tell you you're not
all that, do toot your own horn.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
This is the opportunity to balance that out because it's
so important that you know how great you are. You're
not perfect, but you're eighty eight percent fabulous. And that's
the part I want you to focus on, not on
the one insult when you've had ninety nine compliments, which
just perfectionists you.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Instead, before you go to bed at night, I.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Want you to put yourself on the back because, frankly,
my dear, if you can't approve of yourself, how love
for do you expect anyone else to?
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Someone forget to silence because the show's at a different time. So,
doctor Tiffany, what do you like about yourself?
Speaker 4 (08:00):
I like the fact that I can be spontaneous and
I can burst out into a song at any time.
And I'll give you an example. I had the opportunity
to go to the VA and I had to get
an X ray and then I had to go to
the lab. And when I was in the lab waiting room,
the veteran behind me was also waiting for his lab
(08:23):
And you have to wait sometimes at the VA, especially
with all the cuts, and so he mentioned that that
day was his birthday, and I was like, how sad
a fellow LEO has to be at the lab waiting.
So you know what I did. I had to sing
him Happy birthday. It was just in me to do
(08:45):
it in my special way. And his name was John.
So I got up and I went over there and
I said, you know, John, from one leo to another,
since you are here in the VA, I'm going to
say seeing you my special birthday song, from one lido
to another. It is my gift to you. And his
(09:08):
wife was sitting right next to him, and she was
so appreciative, and everyone burst out and gave me a
round of applause. But I did it just to thank
him for his service and to make his day special.
And he was so excited and so happy and so thankful,
and it was just a spontaneous moment.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
And for those of you who will ask, and people
often do, like how do you choose your co host?
Speaker 2 (09:38):
How do you get to be a co host? Well,
my co host.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Today's story is exactly that she got to be my
co host because I had not talked to her in
probably four or five years. She had been a guest
on my show when she was launching Flow a Try,
her book of poetry. She had asked to come on
and and she came on and was a guest and
then four or five years later, I get a voicemail
(10:08):
on my machine with happy Birthday song that she's gonna
do before the end of the show to celebrate my birthday,
which is.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
How many days after yours.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Let's see Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, so
four days after hers. So she sang on my voicemail
happy birthday in her very.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Flowery way, and I'm like, oh mg. So next one
thing led to another and voila.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
She's the co host of Doctors in the House, so
you just never know what breaking into song is going
to get you. But I also enjoyed doing that, and
and I am appreciative that I have a singing voice,
that I like to play the piano and sing and
(11:07):
write original music. And I appreciate that I can do
that and that I get to right now, wish doctor
Tiffany a happy birthday.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
With my shortened version of my birthday, wish.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Happy Beday, doctor Tiffany, co host.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Of Doctors and as happy bees.
Speaker 8 (11:39):
Toy birthday, Doctor Tiffany.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
Thank you, thank you, thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
And what is your birthday wish for this year?
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Well, I actually wish that the United States will be
in a much better place and that we can move
forward instead of backward.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
All right, that's a nice altruistic wish. Let's finish the
bottom of the button by you saying what you would
want to wish for your son.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
Okay, Well that is something even simpler because we know
that Nathaniel is still in Bangkok performing and I just
wish for my young man. I can't call him a baby,
even though he's still my firstborn baby, and I just
(12:44):
want him to come home safely. I'm still a mama
bear and he's my eagle scout and he's still my
big boy, and so I just want my baby to
come home safely.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Fearful, all right.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
And one last thing that you appreciate about yourself.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
I appreciate the fact that I am a pretty good
baker and the fact that you want my peach cobbler
for your birthday.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
That's like, that's my present. I can't wait. And uh
and uh, I guess Snathan, because is Mia gonna come?
Speaker 4 (13:27):
I am planning for her to.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Come, okay, and mom t is also invited.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
Yeah, I'm not sure what her plans are since.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
I she has all of your cousins and all of
your you know, because we got the pool and there's
I just found out we have like a party room too,
with a pool table and a bridge and all that,
and there's a grand piano in the lobby. This is
my new place, right because it's always this or better
(13:56):
and a pool so so lots of fun okay okay,
and barbecues.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
And all that.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
So yes, if you're in southern California, message me. And
if you're a single guy and you're cute, then you
can come too.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
Okay, wink wink, Okay, I'm so naughty.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
I will finish off. I appreciate my sense of humor.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
I laugh at myself and with myself often and much.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
And that's uh, well sorry, Ralph, Yeah, well Emerson, Ralph Waldo, Emerson,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Thank you. Think I gave him an additional name.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
But that's his definition of success is to laugh often
and much, and so I do that because I want
to be successful, So I laugh often.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
I like that about myself.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
Laughter is the best medicine. It keeps you feeling good.
And I believe that if you can have joy, it
will draw people to you. And laughter and smiling is reflexive, and.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
That's My wish for my birthday is that this coming
year will have.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Exponentially more laughter and fun.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Even though the world tour is not on the plate,
but that even grounded, I will still have even more laughter.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
And joy to feed my addiction to joy. So that's
my wish for this year.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Notice I didn't say anything material because I don't necessarily
know that the things that I want are gonna make
me laugh. All right, Thanks for joining us for breakfast
as usual. I hope that you join me every weekday
morning when we do this good life habit, because life's
(16:00):
too short to be marinating in your pissoffedness. But with
the gratitude sandwich, you're going to be satisfied and happy.
Thanks for joining us for breakfast. And now for the
topic of the day that says everything is awesome. It
(16:24):
is birthdays, Leo, birthdays, whatever birthday you are having.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
And there's some downsides to birthdays that I know I
want to talk about because I know I'm not alone
in that. And then ideas for how to celebrate birthdays.
How's that? So that's our topic for the day.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
And uh, doctor Tiffany, you are hashtag ageless.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
You know I was actually reflecting on it because I
am running for Congress and because I have a lot
of things on my schedule. This is the first time
that I'm not out of the country for my birthday.
Usually I love to travel, and I love this country
(17:16):
and democracy so much. That I'm not out of the country,
I am sacrificing my vacation time people, and that is significant.
Even during COVID, I traveled because Mexico was still open
and I was like, okay, wow, I didn't mind traveling
even in the midst of it, because I was like, hey,
I am vaccinated, so I was still good to go
(17:38):
to travel. And I love the fact that the world
seems like a big place, but when you're able to
take a cruise or you're able to hop on a plane,
it's very small. But I love traveling. And even last
year when I had my party, my big party that
(18:00):
you came to the next day, I hopped on a
flight and went to Costa Rica. So I love to
travel with family and friends.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
What about you, doctor Marris Well, I'm really trying not
to feel sad every time someone says travel because I'm
still in the process of canceling all the flights and all.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
The aside from your world tour and your previous birthdays,
how did you spend them?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
It's so hard. I'm feeling the feelings, which is part
of the process.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
So in eighty eight percent of the time, I know
that everything happens for my divine in best good whenever
I really it is really a trigger when people talk
about flights and travel and how they love to travel.
I didn't realize how like it's one of those I
(18:57):
wasn't that I wasn't grateful, but talk about choosing to
focus and be so grateful for all of the opportunities
that I've had to travel. Like in my life, I've
traveled more than I think like four or five people
put together for the average. So in that sense, I
(19:20):
you know, I'm not being punished and it's not done,
but I'm really really grateful that I've gotten to travel
as much as I have.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
So that is that is definitely.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
I don't know about always being away for my birthday
because if you're away, you're kind of like you don't
have a party with people that you love or you know.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
To celebrate it with you.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
So I think that this is a good opportunity this
year to actually do something different than travel, but celebrating
h it is it's it's fun to get the cards
and the gifts, of course, and the I love that
and that's always gone. And then you know my kids
(20:14):
and the best part always are their cards and heartfelt messages.
And my younger daughter, Sarah is a poet, and so
she writes me a birthday poem every year that I
just absolutely look forward to. And that is definitely the
upside of celebrating the birthday.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
Well, I think that when I travel, oftentimes I take
the people that I want with me, like I take
a lot of times, I take my family. I take
my children in my extended family, and so it makes
it easier. Like we've gone on alasking cruising is the
(21:02):
extended family went when we went to Costa Rica. And
so it just depends on what I'm doing and how
I'm doing it. And we've been to Hawaii. It doesn't
have to.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Be any major.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
I love the ocean and I love the water henceforth,
that's why I was I joined the Navy. So it
just depends on what you're really into as far as
what you like. And so when you're talking about what
you want and how you want to celebrate your birthday,
(21:39):
and I think if you want to celebrate it with
your friends, you can. You can do hybrid parties like
last year how I had a party one day and
then the next day we flew to Costa Rica. And
it was really interesting because I had one friend who said, wait,
(21:59):
I didn't know you were having a party and going
on a trip, because I would have wanted to go
to the party too. And it was funny because I
invited her to the party and she was like, well,
I just want to do Costa Rica, and so I'm like, well,
I invited you to the party, you elected to just
go to the Costa Rica part and so she was like,
but the party was so fabulous after she saw the video,
(22:22):
and I'm like, you could have went to both. I
didn't say you had to pick and choose, And so
it was very funny because hindsight is always twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
Yes, I just looked up August sixth birthdays and you
have your birthday on the same day as Michelle Yo,
Lucille Ball, m Night Shot.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Tame Alone.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Thank you, Jerry Hold, I don't know who that is.
Leslie Odom Junior and Robert Mitchum and Jason O'Mara. I'm
not sure who that is, but those are some famous
(23:09):
birthdays that you share with.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
Oh, I'm a big fan of Lucy Lucilball, Yes.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
And yes, I didn't know that. You know I had
Lucy's daughter on the show a couple of times.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Let's see who's been who was born on my birthday?
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Uh? And and Donio Banderas uh. I don't want to
say some of these names, so I'm not Patty Austin
uh Angie Harmon.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Let's see singer Michael Bivins.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Okay, that's from BBD Bell biv.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Devout, Okay edition.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
You know who that is, right?
Speaker 2 (24:02):
I know you know who that is.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
You know the song poison. Remember we were talking about
music with the soundtracks to Your Life.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah from new edition?
Speaker 4 (24:13):
You remember new edition? Right?
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yes, that's that. That's the new version of the old edition.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
You know, I can't with you sometimes.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Albert of Albert, the second of Germany, King of Hungary,
has this August tenth let's see any let's see these
are they're going back to nineteen thirty something.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Yeah, I don't know any more of these. Nope, I
don't know those Oh they're going back to the seventeen hundreds.
Never mind.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
I thought there was somebody like was it Freud that
was born on August tenth?
Speaker 5 (24:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (24:58):
I guess not? All right, all right, So if you.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
Don't know who Michael Bivens, you know who Michael Bivins is?
You know the song poison?
Speaker 2 (25:09):
You don't.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
I have a great memory, but my recall sucks.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
You know that girl is Boys? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Michael, Yeah,
that de vote BBD.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Okay, that's kind of call.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
I wish I had the book, but I gave it
to my daughter when I thought I was going on tour.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
And had to.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Give everything away. So what's interesting about that book?
Speaker 4 (25:36):
Have you seen?
Speaker 2 (25:36):
That book? Is like a coffee table book? Mm hmm.
It tells you on the day that you were born.
There's a certain thing.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
So you may have been born on the day of
the silver light, or you're born on the day of
the blue moon.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Right, there's different of that. But guess what day I
was born?
Speaker 4 (25:58):
What day?
Speaker 2 (25:59):
The day of the Velvet Voice? Oh, isn't that crazy?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
That was just like, yeah, I'm really dying to know
what you wrote A ninety five dollars book, I gotta
get back from my daughter.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
You can always have her maillet to you. You can
always have her mallet to you.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Oh no, she's coming down for my birthday.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Oh so she'll be at the party.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yes, oh yeah, you get to meet my daughter.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
Yeah, not just over zoom, I'll get to meet him
in person.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yeah. Oh that'll be so cool.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
All right, cat lady, But what we can play?
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Cat lady, Oh, that's only four people.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
There's gonna be like forty fifty people at the party.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
I don't think that's maybe you should stay. I don't
know if it's gonna be that I honestly I don't.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
I'm not in charge of this, Like some friends are
pretty much taken over, which is great.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
That was my gift.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
So we'll definitely tell me she's got to come down
and meet my daughter.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
And why don't you just come and plan to stay later.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Party is supposed to be over an eighth, so just
plan to stay later and then we can play.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
So we'll see. Oh my goodness, I have to see
what I'm doing on Monday. But this is gonna be fun.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Okay, definitely, definitely.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
All right, And if you've just joined us, in you're
wondering what's going on in studio today. We are having
a celebration of Leo's birthdays because it is my co
host birthday to day and my birthday in four days,
so to Leo's in the house. I'm surprised that we
(27:51):
can be contained in these little boxes. But we're celebrating,
and we're both ageless, and we're having a blast in studio.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
We are celebrating.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Actually, this is one of the few times I'm not live,
and I don't like doing pre recorded shows, but because
it is her birthday and I wanted to let her
celebrate her birthday, this is actually being pre recorded, so
we can't talk to you, can't chat with you, but
that's okay.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
You get next next.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Wednesday, you'll be back to which just a belated Actually
it goes on all month, so you have all of
August to congratulate us.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
But we we would just have.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
A little fun today talk about the birthday experiences. We're
gonna when we come back from break for newsweather and
traffic and a word from our sponsor, we will talk
more about our best birthdays and I'm not so best
(28:58):
birthdays with a little happiness. Tips for those who might
have had the kinds of birthdays that I had growing up.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
But that's all.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
When we come back, don't go away, We'll be right

And today is Doctors in the House with myself and
doctor Tiffany Tate, and we are celebrating birthdays today.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
It is the Leo Show, an extraordinary The birthday I'm
celebrating is in four days, and the birthday that doctor
Tiffany's is celebrating is today or tomorrow, so we are
celebrating it today. And of course Leo's are so shy
(32:27):
and have so much trouble celebrating. Sarcasm is another service
I offer, but we wanted to bring y'all in on
the celebration and that's what we're doing today.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
So best birthday celebrations Top three?
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Ooh, let's see top three. I would say I had
a birthday celebration when I was turning sixteen, and it
was with my friends and they surprised me and they
(33:09):
had a cake for me, and we had cake, and
then we went to Disneyland. Now that was always fun.
I'm a roller coaster kid and I love amusement parks.
And then we went to I Love Disneyland. I'm a
(33:30):
Disney kid. I love Disney. I don't know if you
see the soul music album behind me. I love Disney.
Then I love six Flags. I had a birthday at
six Flags. That was my next favorite birthday, and then
my last favorite was last year. I loved last year.
(33:51):
You can't top last year because I had a party.
And then I went to Costa Rica.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
People who can't complain go to the party, and it
was unbelievable that I thought they were all her friends
and family.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
And then the.
Speaker 3 (34:11):
Photographer called up all of her family and I didn't
hear him call up the word family, so I thought
he just called up everybody for a picture, because like
almost everybody went up onto the front, and so I
went too, thinking it was like everybody at the party,
and come to find out, it was just family, like
(34:33):
I was. There were hundreds of people there and they
were almost all family. I was like one of the
few that was not related to her. I mean, she's
on my show, she is, but not by blood. And
so that was just such a funny moment because everybody
was so polite that they didn't want to say, you're
(34:53):
not really part of the family.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
I have such a My mother was one of twelve children,
and so I have like over thirty first cousins, and
so my family is huge. And so if you look
at them, and then you look at their children and
their children's children, you know, the nieces, the nephews, I mean,
it's it's huge. And then there's my father's side, and
(35:19):
some of them showed up, and so it grows quickly,
and then you have their spouses and so it it's
it's exponential.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Like I said to her, is there anybody you're not
related to?
Speaker 4 (35:36):
They have my severity sisters and they showed up too.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
It was so funny.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
That was your church family, and so it grows pretty quickly.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Yeah. Yeah, it was a really good It was a
great party. Lots of and I won an award? Was
my award I should?
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (35:56):
Oh, well, I'm afraid last time I tried to show
something I ended up computer over and cutting my shins open.
So I want a best dressed award for best best
dressed or dance best.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
Dancer, best dressed.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Oh yeah, okay, that of course that would be my favorite.
So uh okay, those were your top three? My top three.
Let's see, I don't I have to say. I'll just
do the funniest one, the biggest one, the funniest one.
(36:36):
So when I was eighteen, my friends decided to surprise me.
They mindfolded me and drove me to a remote area
and it was a nudest colony's pearls. We drove in
(37:05):
and they untied my blindfold just in time to see
a naked man jumping on a trampoline.
Speaker 2 (37:20):
And it was not pretty. It was I think that.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Like, this is why I almost became a forty year
old virgin, virgin version of a.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Virgin, because it was so dramatic.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
This.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Yeah, so that was my best and worst.
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Maybe you get the side eye, really really really.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Oh that was my birthday. That was a birthday to remember.
I can't top that.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
So so yeah, but I am I'm waiting and here's
the sad thing. Okay, so I'm going to I know
we're in solution half, but it's a birthday show, so
I can break the order of things. I want to
say that I had really bad birthdays when I was
(38:20):
a kid. I one, I had to share it with
my brother who was three years sorry, three days difference.
His is Zaka's thirteenth and he's four years different, and
so his friends were not my friends, and there's just
enough separation to make it like difficult, right, you have
(38:43):
similar stuff.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
So I did not.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Like my birthdays growing up at all the joint party
and then you know my mom, when she's stressed, the
mean comes out, and so yeah, it was not a
good time.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
I hated my birthday when I was a kid.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
So I think I'm still feeling some of that because
all of the birthdays that come around for me. I don't.
I love the fact that it's my birthday, but I
have expectations, right, I have hopes that this birthday I
will if I'm dating someone, they will, you know, flowers and.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Chocolate or flowers at least.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
And honestly, I have never ever had a birthday where
I had a guy give me flowers, not one time,
doctor Tiffany. So that is not a good thing. Hopefully
before I die that will happen. I was dating someone
during my birthday and I'd actually asked him if I
was going to get flowers and he said no, and
(39:55):
because it's it was oh no, that wasn't my birthday,
that was Valentine Day. Because he didn't like the whole
superficial blah blah blah about that. So so yeah, so
that's the part where I'm gonna keep it real.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Put the moose on the table.
Speaker 4 (40:14):
Well, man, I hope you're listening.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
Hmmm. Two moose on the table.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
If you. And this is not for actually men, this
is for anybody like me who sets themselves up for
disappointment based on the past. And I want this year.
I'm making this as a promise to myself that even
though it's a sad year in the.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Sense that I'm not going to be doing what I
was supposed to what.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
I wanted to be doing, that I'm really gonna try
to let go of this. I don't like my birthday
vibe anymore. So this birthday I am going to have
I don't care if people aren't having a good time.
I'm not gonna ask if you're having a good time.
(41:05):
I'm gonna have a good time. And I'm gonna do whatever.
If I feel like jump in the pool, I am
going to if I feel like going and I don't know,
doing something silly, I'm gonna do it because I refuse
this year for the rest of my life, in this
last chapter of my life, I refuse to ruin my
birthday with the past memories, for the expectations. And I'm
(41:32):
not gonna buy myself flowers because some people I can
hear them already.
Speaker 4 (41:36):
That's what I'm gonna say.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
But flowers, you know the game, and I'm not gonna
do that as a you know, I'm just I'm just
gonna let that go. I'm just not even gonna like,
you know, if I see flowers that I like, I
certainly won't get my flowers. But I just want to
let go of that negative vibe that I still have
(42:02):
a little bit that I carry with me and and
and let it go. So that's my promise to myself
on this birthday show that for this birthday, doctor Marissa
is going to what is it flip it.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Around, slap it, turn it around, jump on it. What
is the do you say?
Speaker 4 (42:22):
Smack it, flip it up, rub it down, dissect.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
Flip it and rub it down for my new and
improved happy birthday.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (42:38):
Yeah when you when you said that, I thought about
Miley Cyrus' song where we talked a little bit about
the the songs for different portions of your life, and
I thought about Miley cyrus a song. I don't know
if you've heard it. Okay, I'm gonna play a little
bit of it.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
You know.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
She says I can buy myself flowers, and I can
take myself to you know, dancing, and I can hold
my own hand. And that's part of her song.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
And don't don't play it, okay, little kid.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
Well, well that's part of the lyrics.
Speaker 2 (43:15):
You know.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
She's like, I can take myself dancing, I can buy
myself flowers, and I can do all these things for myself.
I don't necessarily need you to do those things for me,
because you're not doing those things for me. And I
think that's important for us to realize. I mean, we
definitely want partners to do those things, but when they're not,
(43:39):
sometimes we have to fill in the gap for ourselves.
But I think my sad birthday hmmm, I've had a few.
Speaker 3 (43:55):
Yeah, and and then that's why I wanted to also,
like just keep it real and balance. You know, it's okay,
but when when we're real with it, then we can
let it go like I just did.
Speaker 4 (44:08):
Absolutely, absolutely, I'm trying to think as an adult. I
think I used I would usually try to make sure
I didn't work on my birthday. That was the bummer
(44:31):
would be when I had to work on my birthday.
If I couldn't I if I couldn't get it off,
if I had to take call on my birthday, that
that always made me sad because I think it's great
to deliver a baby on your birthday, but not when
you don't have any sleep and you're working thirty forty hours.
That's really really sad. So so I would say that
(44:55):
that was sad, And that would be when I was
in private practice. That was a sad time if I
couldn't get it off. But other than that, I would
say when I was a kid, we actually had a
slipping slide and we lacked supervision at that time, this
(45:16):
was the eighties, and they would be like, oh, just
go outside and play.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
And so.
Speaker 4 (45:22):
I think we wanted to do something different things And.
Speaker 2 (45:30):
What you're saying is true because there's a siren going.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
By, right, and we put the slipping slide on concrete
instead out instead of the grass because we were kids,
if we didn't know any better, and that was a painful,
lesson slide. That was very sad. It was very painful
(45:57):
and very sad.
Speaker 10 (46:00):
That is sounds so you can laugh, It's okay, Yeah,
Pa was very sad.
Speaker 2 (46:06):
Yeah, it's the sirens feeling sorry for you.
Speaker 10 (46:10):
Yes, yes, we didn't have to go to the hospital,
but we did go in the house crying. So so yeah,
so I've had I've had my share of painful birthdays
and sad birthdays and neglectful birthdays from partners. But I
(46:30):
also think that it has made me stronger. And it's
interesting because I actually had a conversation with a younger
cousin earlier today about as you mature and as you
get older, you seem to have that it's okay attitude,
(46:52):
Like you said, if he doesn't buy me flowers, it's okay.
I'm going to be fine with it, and I'm gonna
let it off my back or if she doesn't buy
me flowers, because you know, it doesn't matter if your
partners male or female. I'm gonna be okay with it.
I'm just going to persevere.
Speaker 4 (47:11):
And know my own value and my own worth, and
I'm going to enjoy my birthday because I'm going to
learn to celebrate me and know my own worth and
be happy and happiness enjoy is something that we have
to choose, and as Leo's, we love to be happy.
(47:32):
And so I think whether you're a Leo or not
a Leo, you just have to celebrate your life and
enjoy your date of birth and enjoy every day because
every day is a blessing.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (47:46):
I just looked online for I said, I asked AI
what about Leo birthday facts, and it says Leo's born
between July twenty third and Orchestray second are represented by
the line and are known for their confidence, creativity, and
leadership qualities. They are often the life of the party
(48:07):
and enjoy being the center of attention with a flair
for the dramatic what are you talking about? And Leo's
are also known for their loyalty, generosity, and ambition.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
Okay, I didn't know about the ambition part of it.
Speaker 4 (48:26):
Look at us.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
Yeah, well yeah, let's see surprising facts about the Leos
are some of the most vibrant and energetic people. If
you want to learn more, whether it's you have Oh wait,
never mind, that's an ad Okay, never mind.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
I was just looking for things.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
That are Okay, Leo facts, here we go. Percent daily value. Oh,
this is pretty funny.
Speaker 2 (48:58):
Ninety eight. Okay, let me pull solve because this is
kind of cute. I've not seen this before.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
Nope, that's not gonna do it.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
It just still. Can you see it? Leo facts?
Speaker 4 (49:12):
Nope, it's not sharing, it's not sharing. Let's see.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
Try this again, because this I don't think you've seen this.
This is kind of cool. You see it now?
Speaker 4 (49:30):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (49:31):
Okay, can you read it?
Speaker 4 (49:34):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (49:35):
Go ahead, read it out loud.
Speaker 4 (49:36):
It says ninety nine percent problem solving, ninety five okay,
ninety five. Okay, let's see ninety five percent problem solving,
one hundred percent mind reading, Oh okay, one hundred and
ten percent loyal to the end.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
I love that.
Speaker 4 (49:56):
One hundred and ten percent rebellious, one hundred and fifteen
percent sent smart as hell, one hundred and twenty percent humorous. Okay,
one hundred and fifty percent lie detecting, gotcha, yeah, two
hundred percent tell it like it is.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
There's on that table facts.
Speaker 4 (50:15):
Facts, two hundred percent sweetest if treated well that five
hundred percent unpredictable. Yes, one thousand percent dangerous when provoked facts.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
I knew you would like that. Isn't that cute? This
is not a serving per container? Someone did it? Did
it like a like a Leo fax? You know, like
zodiac sign? What like the label for a leo? Mm hmmm,
it's cute.
Speaker 4 (50:52):
I love the dangerous when provoked absolutely, Ah yeah, the
claws come out.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
See they don't like to do work with someone who
doesn't follow their opinions.
Speaker 2 (51:06):
Uh yeah, I'll say that's guilty. But see here's another one.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
Wild at times intelligent, problem solving powerful Hopefully we can
say that word. Uh yes, yeah, and oh we did
look it up. Okay, let's see what's this one. They
stand out in a crowd. They know how to make
a statement. They go after fun like it's a mission.
They get over things quickly. The way they look matters
(51:36):
to them and will put their best effort to look
their best.
Speaker 2 (51:40):
Both of us, be very clear and blunt when they
really want something. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
Yeah, tough and will be bossy because they care. Yeah.
They're always battle ready and they don't like to wait
for the right time.
Speaker 2 (51:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Their version of being funny and humorous is a quick
retort about something that will.
Speaker 2 (52:05):
Put you back in your place.
Speaker 4 (52:07):
Yes, guilty.
Speaker 3 (52:11):
They never hide their feelings and will prefer to say
it in the moment.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
Yes, Yeah, that's pretty wow. Who did this one?
Speaker 3 (52:20):
This is like definitely, Yeah, that would be a good
thing to put in my put up in my artwork.
I got too much artwork, so never mind. Leo is
a friend who is valued and sought out among other
zodiac signs. Everybody needs Leo, Yes, every in their mind.
(52:42):
Let's see I want I was curious about Leo best Leo.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
Mates.
Speaker 3 (52:56):
Let's see what that gives us. Who should be the Leo?
I said, nest and they came out wrong.
Speaker 2 (53:08):
Let's see.
Speaker 3 (53:09):
You know what's interesting with the with the swiper swiping
that I do a lot of the guys that.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
Come up are.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
Taurus, and I usually don't get along with Taurus women
for some reason, and but Taurus men I like. Honestly,
my matches were like eighty percent tours or Leo is
that interesting? Let's see. Okay, are you watching? Can you
(53:43):
see this?
Speaker 4 (53:44):
No, it's pretty small.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (53:47):
Leo personality traits reputation for being drama queens.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
I thought Virgos were drama queens. My daughter's a virgo.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
But can't be reduced to tantrums and shenanigan Like they're
fellow fire signs, Leo's want to bring light to everyone
around them like that. They're one of the most generous signs,
very protective and territorial over their inner circle. They may
come off as prideful and self right, just these lions
actually have big hearts and may put up a wall
(54:17):
until they know you're trustworthy. Yes, yeah, so Leo in
a relationships.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
Okay, you want to read that par Can you see
it enough to read it?
Speaker 4 (54:32):
Let's see. When it comes to platonic relationships, Leo's want loyalty,
says astrologer Jamie Wright. They're looking for pals they can trust.
In return, Leo is the life of your house party,
delighting the crowd with their stand up comedy level storytelling
(54:52):
and effortless dance moves. But the loyal sign is also
by your side, cleaning up cocktail glasses and confetti after
the guests have said their goodbyes. In romantic partnerships, Leo
wants a loyal companion, of course, but they also, considering
their fire sign, wants something to fuel the fire. Right explains,
(55:17):
Leo loves the passion of a reunion, so you often
see them connecting with lovers long distance or in a
slow burned romance that builds slowly over time, a stage
five clinger a Leo needs not. On the contrary, the
best for Leo is someone who's open to creating some
(55:41):
distance and the name of sexual tension might just be
a keeper.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
Wow, that's crazy, Okay.
Speaker 3 (55:52):
Leo and Scorpio compatibility one out of let's see two
out of twelve. Let's go all the way to about
twelve out of time twelve. Let's see who's the most
compatible with eleven eleven out of twelve. Sagetarius is your guys, Sagittarius.
Speaker 4 (56:16):
No, let's see what's twelve out of twelve?
Speaker 2 (56:20):
Gemini? No, No, okay.
Speaker 4 (56:25):
What's what's ten out of twelve?
Speaker 2 (56:28):
We'll go backwards? Oh, Leo and Leo? Nine? Right? Ten?
Speaker 4 (56:34):
I thought that was four? Huh oh Leo and Aries
is four.
Speaker 2 (56:39):
Leo and Aries is ten out of twelve.
Speaker 4 (56:41):
Ten out of twelve.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
Yeah, and Leo and Leo is nine out of twelve.
Speaker 4 (56:46):
Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that one.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
Yeah, Leo's get Leo's in fact, that the only ones
who truly understand how much love they have to do.
Speaker 2 (56:57):
Leo's constantly trying to get to know the real.
Speaker 3 (56:59):
You, the one behind the beautiful curated Instagram selfies.
Speaker 2 (57:04):
No gats being here, people, what's gats being? Hah? These
two will push each.
Speaker 3 (57:11):
Other to embrace who they are, not just who they
think they should be a lot of selfies they are Leos.
Speaker 2 (57:18):
Leo and Libra eight out of twelve.
Speaker 3 (57:23):
I don't see Taurus yet, huh, cuarious.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
Virgo, that's my daughter Capricorn five. Taurists four out of twelve. Wow? Okay, Oh.
Speaker 3 (57:40):
Bulls and lions share two great loves, luxury and being pampered.
How does that fare in compatibility? While Leos like nice
things as a means to court tension, Taurians are in
it for the pleasure itself, quite private, especially in relations.
While Leos wear their hearts on their sleeves hot so
(58:02):
Leo's Oversharing will usually clash with the possessive nature of Taurus.
When they find happiness, there's no reason to spill the
trades heres.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
Of the rest of the world.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
Meanwhile, a Leo struts with the confidence that even if
they overshare, the world can't copy an original, even if
it tries. Oh mg, they're both kind of right and
makes it hard to reconcile this other interesting.
Speaker 2 (58:25):
Okay, so I have to.
Speaker 3 (58:27):
Now like switch out and look for uh Sagittarius or Gemini?
Speaker 2 (58:37):
Which one?
Speaker 3 (58:37):
Now?
Speaker 2 (58:39):
Gemini is the twins?
Speaker 4 (58:41):
Yes, that's why I'm like the multiple personality.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
Yeah, now, which one is the balanced one? Is that Gemini,
the one with the two scales? Mm hmm, that is Gemini.
When do you know when the birthday is a geminis?
Speaker 6 (59:02):
Are me?
Speaker 2 (59:03):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (59:04):
Then that's not what my daughter, my younger daughter is.
What's after?
Speaker 2 (59:09):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (59:09):
Virgo m I'm not good.
Speaker 2 (59:14):
I'm not good.
Speaker 3 (59:15):
I'm not good anyways.
Speaker 2 (59:19):
Oh mg, look at the time a doctor Tiffany, Oh.
Speaker 4 (59:23):
My goodness, we've been having way too much fun.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
It's all about balance piece and piece out world peace
through inner piece.
Speaker 2 (59:30):
Doctor Tiffany sing out the.
Speaker 3 (59:32):
Last part of Happy Birthday for me Happy birthday.
Speaker 2 (59:40):
Yay.
Speaker 3 (59:41):
Thanks for joining us. We'll see you next week live.
It's all about balance. Piece in peace out world, peace
through inter piece. Now go and have the best day.
Speaker 2 (59:56):
I can't believe we just did that.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
You're listening to the t
