Happy Thursday, Doctor Mersa.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Happy Thursday, Ricky Rebel. Wait wait wait Friday, Friday. I
got the day wrong yesterday, I got the day wrong
day and now you're doing it.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Oh thank god, that's my goal?
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Is that what it is? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
I'm also reading the banner at the bottom.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Says, oh sorry, my bad, my bad, my bad. That
was okay, so we will fix that right now, and
Ricky was so, oh no, I'm about to break my
own rule. What we're gonna do is have breakfast with y'all.
(03:25):
You know the drill. Top of the bun, take a
bite of my gratitude sandwich. Top of the bun is gratitude,
things that we're grateful for outside of ourselves. H and
then bottom of the bun because I like it on
the bottom, although it's been a while TMI. Bottom of
the bun is things that we're grateful for inside of ourselves.
(03:46):
What do we like about ourselves? That's what we want
you to do before you go to bed tonight. Instead
of thinking about all the things you haven't finished, or
how you're not that great or who done you wrong,
we want you to love yourself eighty eight percent of
the time. So we practice with what do you like
about yourself? So let's start with the top of the bun.
What are you grateful for, Ricky?
Speaker 3 (04:08):
I'm grateful for my partner, Patrick, doctor Patrick Clockwood, shout
out to you. He's doing really well, working hard, and
he's just great.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
He's a great guy, beautiful. I am so grateful that
I had a fabulous birthday party on Sunday, August tenth.
And guess who was at my party but yours, yours truly, Yeah,
yours truly was at her own party. And then Ricky
(04:41):
Rebel was there and it was so wonderfully drove a
long way to Long Beach on the beach from where
he is and it was so fabulous to see him
and get to play. And we were by the pool
and we were playing with his favorite books.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
See this, thanks, Yeah, it's called the Secret Language of birthday.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Days and uh and so I said, you know what,
let's let's play with that today. And we get to
do that with the Rebels. We can look up your
birthday and it's a little birth It's like a treat
right show. And I'm I'm really grateful that all my
(05:27):
co hosts came to my party and friends and family,
and my my younger daughter drove from San Francisco just
for the party. So I am truly grateful for all
the birthlate birthday love that I got at my pool
party at my new place. That was not part of
(05:50):
the original plan. I was supposed to be in Africa
for my birthday on tour, but two blood clots later,
I am ground for a year, but I am so grateful.
I will I'll say that the party and having all
of y'all there totally made up for the fact that
I wasn't on tour for that day, that day, for
(06:14):
that day. So I am so grateful for that. What
do you ask? One more gratitude?
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Fun moment. That was a really fun moment. I'm grateful
for my wardrobe. I got some really great clothes, some
great shoes, hats, accessories, clothes that I picked up from
all around the world, from Japan, and so many memories
are on these clothes. Oh you look so good today.
We don't really match.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
I wanted to show you because.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
I like that, but I love that coat.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah, so the coat yesterday?
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Is that lingerie you're wearing.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yesterday? I know, right, it's a it's a pig Well,
I don't know if it is, but I just loved
it and I got it at that store that I
did that little video to show you. I did stand
up yesterday at three different locations, and one of them
was right beside a store called Rebel. What was it,
(07:14):
the American Rebel? So I took a little video and said,
oh mg, and then I had time after the first
stand up to go and shop and this is what
I picked up there. It looks great, Thank you. I
think it might be a nighty of some kind, but
I figured I can wear nightie out.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Well.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
I was wondering what you're underneath though, what you're were, Oh,
it's like that.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
I actually got this at Zara, just like it.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
It's it took a velvet, satin velvet long.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Oh. I almost showed my.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, that's nice, thank you.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yes, we do fashion show off modeling are on the
show too. I am grateful for Ricky's Uh. Just I
just I just love you and I too, and and
just the the we've and it's our little love fest
(08:17):
has lasted a year. Like you know, how many friends
do you have that you can say you know, you
go through you meet them under weird circumstances. We're like
bonded by trauma through this interesting person that we both
met through and uh and then you know you you
really have been such a highlight in my life. And
(08:39):
my daughter loves you.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Yeah, she's great, she's great. I realized my love for
you a lot when I was at your birthday party
when you were your leg was hurting, right, and my
my daddy, and things kicked in right away, and I'm like,
you need to we need to get you some ass friend.
(09:05):
We need to, you know, take care of you and
you need to take care of yourself. I kind of
reminded you how to take care of yourself and it
just kicked in automatically, and that means I really care
about you, and it's just a very natural feeling I
have in love for you.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Yeah, we've got some love in the chat already. And
Julia Hardy, well the show. I think she's a rebel.
Yeah yeah, and then we've got some Asian love. That haircut,
okay if I were okay, well, I think you could
(09:48):
wear it. I mean, my hair is all about my brand,
which is balanced, and it's unbalanced. He's a Korean. I'm
thinking you're half Korean, if that's what but that is,
And I think is that a rebel as well?
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Sin Millie, I never, I don't think I've met Sin
And okay.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Well, welcome to the show. And a rebel.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
She's like a no authority rebel.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
She's old school awesome. So let's go to the bottom
of the bun. Those of you who missed the introduction,
to that we take a bite of my gratitude sandwich
every morning on the show and the bottom of the butt.
I want you to love yourself eighty eight percent of
the time, and a lot of us don't. We're really
hard on ourselves, especially women, own worst enemy and that
(10:41):
critical voice. So I want you to work the muscle
of what do you like about yourself? And I have
to say Ricky is the star student in how far
he's come. He hated this part of the exercise when
we started a year ago and he was I don't
want to do it, like I can't do it. I
don't feel comfortable doing it. And now he still is
(11:03):
a little bit uncomfortable because he is a perfectionist, but
he's recovering and learning how to really appreciate the magnificence
that he is. So my goal was to have him
love himself half as much as the rebels do. How's that?
Speaker 3 (11:20):
That's good?
Speaker 1 (11:22):
So what do you like about yourself?
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Well, let's see. I like the fact that I'm expressing
myself more in my data to being more honest with people,
you know, those uncomfortable conversations that we used to hold
back for too long. I feel like I have been
really good at just bluntly, hey, this is this is
(11:46):
hurting my feelings, so I gotta let you know the
moves drop. Yeah, I'm being way more expressive with my
feelings than I've ever been.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
So it's good, awesome, that's honoring yourself. You know, sometimes
we put everybody else in front of us, and then
that's fine if you're of service, but then when you
get resemful, it's it's not fine. Fine stance then for
fed up, irrational, neurotic, and emotional. So we don't want
(12:26):
to be fine and I'm fine. So that's great that
you get to be put the moose on the table,
which is my Canadian version of talking about the elephants
in the room, and you can be honest and honor yourself.
I like the fact that I I don't let my
(12:47):
Asian roots stop me from opening my.
Speaker 5 (12:50):
Mouth, and because it is not okay to say what
you think in many of the Asian cultures, and that
certainly was something that kept me quiet for as long
as possible, but that I would still you know, speak out,
(13:13):
and then I'd either get punished for it or I
feel guilty.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
So I'm really grateful that I have learned how to,
you know, speak up when I need to and everybody
doesn't have a right to my opinion and know when
to hold But I appreciate that about myself.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
Yeah, I love it. I love that. One more, one more,
one more do I like that I have an open mind.
I like my open minded, this ability to change my
mind and also stay true to myself at the same time.
(13:56):
So it's like we can't let ourselves become other people
because of different factors.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Chameleon influences.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Yeah, I'm not a chameleon, but yet I am a chameleon,
but I'm able to change back and still preserve who
I really am at the same time.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Beautiful. Yeah, I appreciate that. I love to laugh. I
just love to laugh. You don't grow old because you
stop laughing. Sorry, you don't stop laughing because you're growing old.
You grow old because you stop laughing. And last night
I got super complimented. I was at a Majong event
(14:32):
downtown and you know, a lot of Asians there, obviously
it's a Chinese title game, and one of the women said,
you look so much like my girlfriend's mother, and I'm like,
and then she goes and she looks really young, and
(14:53):
I go, okay, I'll take that as a compliment. And
then I had her guess how old I was, and
she literally she gave me like twenty four years younger
than I actually am, she thought. And so I said,
I told her how young I was, and she's like, oo,
(15:16):
so I appreciate my ability to look young. I like that.
And she said, well, it's your energy, it's not you
know that is And I just I think it's because
I love to laugh. I will. I will laugh at
my own expense just to feel good.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
Yeah, that's a great.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
One, did you And Marie says, yes, oh, sorry, here
it is. I'm old school rubble, very proud rubble. That's
so sweet. And Maurice is here, so thank you for
joining us for breakfast. If you'd like to continue this
good life habit or this hashtag bliss as I stole
(16:02):
that expression from my big brother Michael Bernard back with
you can with me every weekday morning here or on
your own, because I promise you, if you start your
day taking a bite of my gratitude sandwich, you will
sandwich your day in the most positive way. Thanks Ricky
for joining me for breakfast, and now for the topic
(16:31):
of the day. Everything is awesome, Ricky. What are we
talking about today?
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Today, ladies and gentlemen, we are going to be talking
about your star sign. Ah And The Secret Language of
Birthday is one of my favorite books of all time.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
What it has is every single day that is in
the calendar, there is like a write up of it's
not well, I don't know, is it predictive. It's kind
of horoscopy, but not for the month, for the actual
day that you were born. So some people are born
(17:18):
on the day of like a happy moon, or born
on the day of let's see what I just opened
up the day of the Mortal Mirror. Okay, so it's
an interesting that was August fourteenth. I just opened up
to that. So to make this fun, I thought, you know,
I brought that I had my daughter when I thought
I was going on tour, and I sold everything and
(17:40):
I moved out of my place. I kept a few
things and this was one, and I said to my daughter,
will you you keep it for me? So she took
it to San Francisco and then she brought it back
for my birthday at my request. Because it's a perfect
party thing too write. So I thought Ricky's rebels are
(18:01):
so great, and Ricky loves y'all. So I thought this
would be a little treat. So birthday Day, you don't
have to put the year, but put it in the
chat and I will look it up and tell you
what day you were born on. And we're gonna start
(18:22):
with the fun one, which is Ricky. This is like unbelievable,
how like mine? Well, maybe I should start with mine,
just with the title. So I was born on the
day of the Velvet Voice. So that's like, what, like
(18:47):
I did they know?
Speaker 4 (18:49):
What?
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Was I like destined to be on the radio? Was
I dustined to sing? Was I dustined?
Speaker 4 (18:55):
Like?
Speaker 1 (18:56):
That's strange, don't you think? Yeah, it's a what what
are the chances of that that I was actually born
on the day of the Velvet Voice? Right, sovet today
and I am wearing velvet. I didn't do that on purpose.
You didn't know. I swear, I swear, but I can
(19:16):
say I did. But what do you think Ricky was
born on? What day? Was Ricky born on?
Speaker 4 (19:28):
So?
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Okay, August fifth of August fifth.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
That's ajk okay, it's his birthday.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
And then you guys can take a guess at what
Ricky's what day he was born on? But it is
better than mine as far as what, okay, August fifth is, Yeah,
he was born on the uh leo yeah, Leo's You're
(20:00):
the day of resolute composureo okay. And it says that
those born on August fifth are able to carry through
their decisions with great resolve, steadfastness, and determination. Although those
(20:21):
born on this day may be of an emotional nature,
they display a remarkable mastery over their feelings and accomplish
their ends in a natural and easy fashion. So does
that sound like you?
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Like?
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Percent wise? Ajka, you cannot tell me about that. Your
strengths are You're directed, dignified, and unflappable. I love that word.
And your weaknesses are your combative, repressed, and overly nonverbal.
(20:56):
Does that sound me like you? Yes? Or no? So
we'll see what the Aja says Patricia November twenty third. Oh,
before before I go to that, I'll just share with
you what mine says for strengths and weaknesses. Strengths are attractive,
(21:18):
I like that one, fun yeah, and vocally seductive. Weaknesses
needy and lacking in self trust. And Ricky was so
kind when when that was right, he said, you remember
I do You've worked on that? Yeah, okay. November twenty third.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Patricia, that's a sage Scorpio combo. I believe cussog some
people can be born in the middle between two. But
she might be a full sage.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
You were born on the day of irreverence. Hmmm, well
you're a rebel, so yeah, that might be a part
of it. Right there. Let's see, you are quick to
show your displeasure with all overt forms of authority and repression.
(22:24):
They are not ones to believe in something simply because
they're supposed to. That is not to say that they're
incapable of faith or adherence, but for them it must
be justified and proven in worth. So like show me.
It sounds like strengths individualistic, free spirited, and humorous, and
(22:46):
your weaknesses are combative, isolated, and impulsive. There's a lot
of ballances.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
She likes me so much. I wonder why she likes
me so much.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
I wasn't good to say anything.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
So she is sagittarian, it says at the top. I
think she is. She's like me.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Yes, Cusp Scorpio sagittarius Cusp.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
Nice, that's a really cool combo. One of my close friends,
Samantha Hart, is a Sagittarius Scorpio cusp. It's a really nice.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
So tell us, Patricia, what percent that applies to you?
Aj said that I don't feel as if the easily
part applies. Okay, well, you know not. When we read
it at the party, I would say it was eighty percent,
(23:43):
and there were people that like twenty percent. So so
you know.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Why that is is because according to astrology, when you're born,
you take a picture of the sky in the universe,
and where the planets are at the time is what
makes up your personality basically, and and those things are
different for every single person. So it depends on what
(24:12):
your planet, you know is, what is your Mars is
your Mars in Capricorn. For instance, my Mars at the
time when they took a picture, Mars was in Capricorn
at the time. So that makes me a very very
ambitious person. Capricorn is an ambitious sign, so I'm probably
more ambitious than the natural sagittarian. Sagittarians tend to be
(24:35):
all fun and games and party, party, party all the time,
which I have those elements in me. But because my
Mars is in Capricorn. It makes me a very determined person.
So that's something to think about. I want to get
your full chart right, to get a better idea of
your personality.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
And we were going to talk about that too, like
how much of this is woo woo, and how much
of this is actually determinant? Is it determinant or like,
am I like who I am because I was born
on this day? Or did I learn how to live
(25:16):
in this I don't know. It's like that nature versus nurture, right,
you're born with it or is it your experience? So
that's been you know, from get go, that argument around
that and how much are you influenced by the stars.
But it does make sense like whenever you're born, when
(25:37):
you're coming out of the canal, like the stars are
in a different place, the Moon's in a different place,
and we don't really give enough I think credence to
the impact of gravitation of the moon of the sun,
and just like the planets aligning in a certain way,
(25:57):
every single minute is different, every single second is different.
So maybe that did influence I was never a believer
in any kind of astrology because I am internal locus
of control, so internal locus of control. People say, I
don't care what it says predictive of me. I'm my
(26:20):
own person and I choose to be who I want
to be. External locus of control is completely opposite, which
is I go to psychics, I go to astrologers because
it's all predetermined and I'm just like living it out right.
So those are your two extremes. So I've moved towards less.
(26:44):
I'm not at all, you know, people decide who I am,
but I am allowing for the influence of the stars
and the planets because it's just like too uncanny, scriptive
it is of me.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
It's crazy. I found that book when I was around
eighteen years old. I had already been on tour with
Britney Spears, I had already been signed to Michael's label,
Madonna's record label, and when you see my day like it,
it blew my mind.
Speaker 6 (27:18):
So I was like, yes, I finally had something like that,
really described like and it's kind of the It was
in those formative years of when I was trying to
figure out, like, well, who who am I?
Speaker 3 (27:30):
Which is it's a very hard question to answer, and
I think astrology can kind of help you figure that out.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
Yeah. Do you want to go to yours now?
Speaker 3 (27:41):
Yeah? Go to my day?
Speaker 1 (27:43):
Okay, give it to me again.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
December second, are you ready? I want to spears the
same day as Brittany.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
I want to do a drum roll because when I
saw this, I almost like I spit out my drink. None,
I'll oh, I'm naturally high. Uh. December second, this is Ricky.
Are you ready for this? Oh, Mama's in the house
now that Ricky Rebel was born December second, the day
(28:14):
of Larger than Life. H well, then I gotta get
this is like this is like really really really really
really really I couldn't believe it. I thought mine was descripted,
but that is like hello, because you had just gone
(28:36):
on tour with Brittany. Right, larger than life.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
All of it, all of it? Who do? Who do
I worship? My heroes?
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Those born on December second are possessed of tremendous spirit.
And I know Mama is going uh huh uh huh.
No matter how small their physical frame, which you're not small,
but you are pretty powerful for you.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
Know it was small for a very long time.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Okay, yeah, they will exert and sorry, no matter how
small their physical frame. They will exert an influence on
their surroundings far beyond what one might expect on first
meeting them. It is only when seen in action on
stage that they really shine. Hello. So magical? Is there
(29:29):
affect that those involved with them may sometimes feel as
if they've been hit with a bolo punch? What's a
bolo punch?
Speaker 3 (29:41):
It's a very strong punch, is it? A boxer? Boxers?
Speaker 1 (29:46):
His strengths are dynamic, lucid, and human. His weaknesses are temperamental, judgmental,
and manipulative.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Don't believe it. Fake news news.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Okay, Patricia's been waiting. Oh, we have to take a
quick break for news, whether in traffic. We're halfway through

the other one, you will get access every weekday morning
(33:10):
to this show about hope and happiness and for very
special series like Straight Talk with myself.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
And Ricky Rebel.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Hey, we're here today. We're having fun today with all
the rebels and the balancers. I'm gonna call mine balancers
in the chat. And we have a balance because of
the birthday I just had as a Leo and five planets.
(33:42):
That's another story we'll talk about if we have time,
but I want to get to Actually I did Patricia's already.
It's Anne Marie Wood that I have not done May
twenty fourth, and there's a theme with all the rebels.
By the way, see if you can May twenty fourth
was born, Anne Marie, You were born on the day
(34:03):
of the Magnifier. Those born on May twenty fourth seem
to have an opinion on every issue under the sun.
Their main interest, however, is in society, and their orientation
toward it can range from mildly critical to outspoken or
even revolutionary. Oh usually possessed of a quick mind and
(34:26):
caustic tongue. May twenty fourth, people rarely leave others in
the dark very long for when where they stand on
a subject. The problem is, however, that every few years
or even weeks, their viewpoints may shift. Therefore people around
them may be left bewildered, standing with their mouths open
(34:46):
in amazement. Okay, there's like I said, Rebels are definitely
similar in their ability to stand on their opinions. Strengths
are expressive. That's another common thing, incisive and socially involved.
(35:09):
Basness is self centered, caustic, and closed. So I don't
know what you say. I percent that is accurate. Let
me know in the chat, and then we're gonna go
to Ricky Rebel's mama, right who I mean? This is
(35:31):
exactly what kind of person someone needs to be to
be the mother of Ricky Rebel, who is born on
the day of Larger than Life. She was born on
the day of Tenacity.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
March thirty first.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Really, aries, are you laughing?
Speaker 3 (35:52):
I'm laughing?
Speaker 1 (35:53):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Is it really?
Speaker 1 (35:56):
You want proof? I did not make this?
Speaker 3 (35:59):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Born on March thirty. First, are fighters, right the accident
that you told me about are fighters who will get
ahead no matter what. They have the tenacity to hang
in there for the duration. Once established in a post,
they will be very difficult to unseat. They may have
(36:24):
original ideas that remain unexpressed simply because they indeed relish
holding on to a favorable position. When called upon in
a time of crisis, however, they often come up with
highly creative and practical solutions. Wow, this is so accurate,
winning them the appreciation of their superiors. And really, the
(36:48):
way you've described the way your mom has been through
your career and how supportive and all of that is
really amazing. Her strengths are tenacious, lucid, and pragmatic, right,
the pragmatic and weaknesses repressed, frustrated, and argumentative. So I
(37:12):
haven't seen that side of mama at all. So you're
gonna have to tell me that the percent accurate. I
love Anne Marie is honest, even though wasn't exactly. So
she's on your shirt. They have this new option to
put the comment here on you so oh wow Lol.
(37:36):
Definitely me used to be afraid to speak my opinion
and just kept to myself. Now that I've gotten more
brave and mature, I'm very opinionated on a lot of things.
So that was the one before I spread of Mama's.
Especially when it comes to my loved ones, I will
not back down. I don't care what others think of me.
I just say the words I'm sorry you feel that way,
(37:56):
and try to move on. So that is pretty, you know, accurate,
And I know mine was like literally eighty eight percent accurate.
I think Rike's is eighty eight percent accurate, if not more. Mama,
what do you think it percent accurate? And aj K,
you said that one part didn't apply, but I'm guessing
(38:17):
that some of the other parts did apply. So you know,
like we were saying before, it's not going to be
one hundred percent, but the fact that it's as close
as it is right out of one. Okay, So if
we say AJ's isn't like his, but we say, Mom,
you me, uh Gan, Marie, that's four. I don't know, Patricia,
(38:40):
you didn't let me know percent wise if it you know,
but four out of five that's pretty high, right, So
it's not random and.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
It's not even accurate, it's like really accurate. It's great.
It's like WHOA do it? And what I really like
about that book at the bottom, it gives you advice
based on your birthday, like life advice. Mom says is
totally accurate. She just she just did a comment. Totally accurate.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Oh she did. Okay. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
One of the stories about my mom and her tenacity,
she she's a court reporter and she says she went
to school and it was a room full of people
trying who are going to be, you know, trying to
be court reporters were training and the guy looked at
all of them, who was going to teach them? He said,
in this room, only two of you are going to
(39:36):
actually become court reporters are going to pass the tests,
statistically speaking, only two. And so my mom says she
immediately looked in the room and said, I wonder who
the other one's going to be like, And she just
really thought it wasn't even a question, like I just
wonder who the other person's going to be looking around
(39:57):
and that is very much like an example of my mom.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
Cool. That's so cool, and thank you Patricia for answering totally.
She says, yes, it does apply. So I'm going to
take it as at least an eighty percent, which is
very much so. And then what Ricky was talking about
the saying on the bottom, So mom, your meditation, which
(40:23):
is the bottom part is quitting is not always a
bad idea. Ricky, do you remember what yours is?
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Yeah, it's really good, December. Second, it has to do with.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
True greatness may be found in the humblest places. Let
me see what mine is.
Speaker 3 (40:51):
I had to learn that. That's my that's my appreciation
for my cats, my home. Yes, the simple things, the
very very humble things are actually larger than.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
My ajs is though a million miles away, the sun
touches our very skin. Oh that's deep. And to respond,
you want a copy of this, if you go to
my website doctor Marisa dot life and just put in
(41:26):
your email, I'll take a photo and send that to
you of the of the two things. And uh, oh,
don't tell them for copyright purposes. I am going to
email the the the writers of this and thank them
because it really is a great.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
On the show, I would.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
You're absolutely right, I keep forgetting I have a show that,
by the way, has gone on for six hundred and
ninety one. Are my ensecutive weeks and I just check
my I'm at three point ninety nine million impressions amazing
on my YouTube TV channel. So the class where the class,
Oh yeah, class, I didn't even realize I was looking
(42:12):
at that sheet or that's partaking pressures. Yeah, thank you,
thank you, thank you for acknowledging and making me acknowledge myself.
All right, so, uh what was let me see what
(42:33):
Patricia you were November twenty third. Let's see what your
her advice yeah, or her meditation, yeah, November twenty third.
This it's not a this is a heavy book.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
And then there's another book that you can get that
I have. It's called The Secret Language of Relationships and
it talks about the day of or like actually, okay,
so there are different phases of different types of Sagittarians.
There's Sage one, two and three. There's Leo one two
and three, depending on the beginning of the of the
(43:11):
month in the middle and the ad.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
And you grab it this book.
Speaker 3 (43:15):
Yeah, it's downstairs in my garage. So it would take
me about literally one minute to go get it. You
can take me off and come back. But this book
it'll talk about like the relationship between you, and I
like the sage and the leo.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
Yeah, I want it. Go go run because I'm going
to read the rest of their meditation.
Speaker 3 (43:33):
Okay, take me off of the thing. I'll be right back.
You guys are going to try to find this book.
Hopefully I find it, all right.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
You'll find it, okay. So November the twenty third was Patricia,
your meditative thought is irreverence should not take itself too seriously, okay,
(44:01):
And you did say it was pretty accurate. Anne Marie
is May twenty fourth. I'm excited to see what this
is because you were laughing at the thing. Meditation is
fingerprints and snowflakes are not the only things unique, so
(44:24):
it's celebrating your uniqueness. There you go and moms saying
everything is true, which is really great. And while Ricky
is getting that, I will tell you a little story
about something. One of the reasons why I really do
(44:46):
like an honor astrology is because I will. I had
an astrologer, Rachel Blissen, on my show, and I guess
to do a very accurate reading, you have to give
them wor you were born location wise, the time of
year birth. So I did that and I told her
don't read this. Don't Oh wow, that was less than
(45:09):
a minute, darling, don't read this until you come on
the air. And she said, she looked at the she
tore it open. She goes, oh, I said, what's wrong.
She goes, you're a Leo. I go, I know, I
want Leo and she goes, no, No, You're a Leo
in five planets, five out of six planets. And I said,
(45:32):
what does that mean? She goes, you just can't help yourself.
You've got to be in front, you've got to be
on top, you've got to win, you've got to you know,
stress and all that. And in that moment, Riki eight
thousand pounds of guilt and shame for who I am
as an Asian woman melted completely dropped off my back
(45:58):
because I was. I had explained during breakfast with the
Gratitude Sandwich that there's shame for an Asian woman to
speak as I do on the platforms that I do
is shameful. It's like when I was modeling, it was
like stripping right, so I but I still did it.
(46:19):
But I carried the shame of breaking or defying the rules.
So I was carrying this in that moment Ricky. I
was like, oh, yay, I can't help myself. This is
what I'm doing, and it's okay. It gave me permission
to be who I am. And rebels, y'all are that
(46:41):
I'm appreciing to the choir. You all are.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Rebels, right, yeah, people like me. I was thinking about
the Leo sign. It's about it is about being in
the spotlight and allowing yourself to I mean, well, you
don't allow yourself. You are like, you can't help it.
It's the actor, it's the singer, it's the performer, the
(47:07):
stand up, it's the Madonna. It's the sign of Madonna. Really,
I mean yeah, it's like a big, powerful Leo. And
so I've always admired Leo's By the way, I was
always like, gosh, I wish I was a Leo. Oh no,
because the confidence that that sign has is they have big.
(47:28):
But then I started reading my sign and I said, oh,
I'm glad. I'm born on the day of larger than life.
I'm glad.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Oh yeah, no, yours is bigger than mine. Your star
is bigger than mine for sure. And my friends, my
nickname lately has been the Force. The Force. They call
me the force. And my younger daughter said, when the
blood clatt and all that happened, And I said, you know,
I'm okay, I know it's always just some better and
(47:55):
d D d D, and you know the people that
invited me on tour to speak around the world and
blah blah, I'm not gonna lose. I said that as all,
and she goes, Mom, I am never worried about your
faith in yourself. She said, you you don't need anybody
(48:18):
else to believe in you because you believe in yourself.
You don't need that. And I was like, is that
a compliment or an insult? But she meant it as
a compliment. I know who I am. I know what
I'm supposed to be doing in the world. Obviously I'm
not supposed to be flying for some reason, but that
doesn't keep me from being who I am. So why
(48:43):
do we love each other so much?
Speaker 3 (48:44):
So let's take a look. I want to share the
screen here, Share screed, Share screed.
Speaker 1 (48:54):
Okay, I just want to a Marisa got me not
part of the say I want to mention, don't want
I still remember he's favorite thing back in the North
that he loved the color of green and pigtails.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
Okay, that's true. Still do if a girl wears pigtails,
I'm like, oh my gosh, so cute. You know, I
still feel the same way.
Speaker 1 (49:19):
Leo to sag one secretly one.
Speaker 3 (49:30):
Okay, are you looking at the screen?
Speaker 1 (49:32):
I am okay.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
In The Secret Language of Relationships, a Leo born during
the second week of Leo, which is you, and the
first week of Sagittarius, which is me, are described as
a strong and passionate pairing, potentially prone to intense love
and conflict. While they can achieve great heights, they may
also face challenges related to control, possession and destructive battles
(49:57):
for dominance.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Oh my god, So I don't think so, because I'm
always tenth. I'm August tenth.
Speaker 3 (50:05):
Oh you're not in this one, no, geez.
Speaker 1 (50:10):
Because we haven't had conflicts. So that was my first.
Uh so it's Leo three.
Speaker 3 (50:17):
You're Leo three. Yeah, let's find that one out. Thank
god you were born when you were born, because pounded
had Okay. The Secret Language of Relationships, by Gary Goldschneider
and joust Elfirst, explores the dynamics of various relationships based
on birthdays and personality types.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
One Oh that's nice. Associated with confidence, charisma, desire to
be admired, that's totally me, you, adventure, spirit, optimism, love
of freedom, that's you.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
The combination of these traits could lead to a relation
and ship filled with fun, excitement, and a shared love
of exploration and shopping.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
Shopping.
Speaker 1 (51:08):
Jees. However, potential challenges might include Leo's need for attention
clashing with Sagittarius's independent nature. Well, you know when we
go to events, and this has happened at least twice, right,
I'm there to you know, make sure we're like noticed
(51:31):
and on the carpet, and he's like, I've been here
longer than you. I'm leaving.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
Yeah, at some point I peace out.
Speaker 1 (51:47):
Oh my god, that's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Okay, what else.
Speaker 1 (51:53):
AJ's looking forward to the new album and Anne Marie's
husband is November eleventh, so let me look that up.
But keep talking about that.
Speaker 9 (52:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (52:04):
Yeah. The new album is called The Blue Album tenth
Anniversary Edition, and it's coming out August twenty second, speaking
of all these dates coming up at the end of
the month, and it's a great record. It's the Blue Album,
which has the Billboard Top forty song Boys and sometimes
(52:25):
girls on it. And it has an additional eight unreleased
tracks that I've been holding on. I have not released them,
and some of them are really powerful and really cool,
very dancy fun and I'm excited for people to hear it,
so pre save it now on my website rickyrebelrocks dot com.
(52:47):
You can go to Ricky Rebelrocks dot com click the
presafe for the Blue Album tenth anniversary edition.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Awesome, thank you? All right? Remember Eleven's husband and and
here's the cool thing. Anne Marie is my oh yay,
yours is in better shape than mine?
Speaker 4 (53:10):
Is.
Speaker 1 (53:14):
Anne Marie's husband's birthday is the same as my grandma,
my Grandma Blum and she that was eleven eleven, and
she's in heaven. And uh, I loved her so much.
She unofficially adopted my mom. So I'm part Russian Jew.
So I have an uncle Moys she and an aunt Ethol.
(53:35):
That's a side note. Uh. November eleventh, the Day of
the Underground. The complex. Individuals born on November eleventh often
present a bright, even cheerful appearance, which belies their depth
as well as their turbulent, troubled and secretive Nature's powerful
(53:59):
and controlling the environment. Those born on this day stake
their possessive claim on whatever people, material, objects, or activities
that are important to them. They okay, and their strengths
(54:20):
are persuasive, colorful, energetic, and their weaknesses are possessive, troubled,
and spellbound. So I don't know if that sounds like
your husband and his meditation is blind. Admiration and allegiance
have no real place in spirituality. Wow, that's a deep
(54:44):
one too. This is definitely super deep on this one.
Thank you, aj Ie. It's very deep, and I will
I will do that when the show's over. But yeah,
this is Patrick speaking of scorpios. Yes, yes, yes, you know.
Speaker 3 (55:04):
Guess what day he's born on, October twenty eighth. It's
the day of research. Can you believe it? The day
of research? Those born on October twenty eighth believe in
being well prepared. I read this d him and he's like, oh,
(55:27):
this is garbage. It doesn't mean I'm.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
Like, look at this, it's a freaking you.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
Before they speak on a given subject or allow themselves
to invest their time, money, and energy in a career
or business, they generally make an effort to comprehend the
complexities involved. In addition, research continues to aid them in
their undertakings once they are on the rails. Quote, doing
their homework is a kind of compulsion for many born
(55:53):
on this day who hate, above all things, the embarrassment
of being caught unprepared.
Speaker 1 (56:01):
That's not thousand percent.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
That is I don't know where his strengths are. He's curious,
thorough and interesting. His weaknesses are he's prying, demanding and cutting.
Speaker 1 (56:17):
Oh my god, Like I hate to say this, but
his is like almost more accurate than yours. Is so
a little bit.
Speaker 3 (56:27):
Yeah, all of the negative stuff he's going to deny.
Speaker 1 (56:32):
It's called the blind spot. But don't tell him myself.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
So I said this, We will tell him.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
I said this. Thank god he does.
Speaker 3 (56:41):
I hold you know what a scorpio. Scorpios are so intense.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
Well, I met him twice on the show, and he's
a wealth of knowledge because of the research and how
bad he is and how he talks. And we're out
of time, so Ricky, final thirty second word.
Speaker 3 (57:00):
Final thirty second word. I just want to thank everybody
for coming too the show today and for engaging with
us and giving us your comments and we looked up
your birthdays. It was a really fun show today. Thank
you so much, and look out for my new album,
The Blue Album, tenth Anniversary Edition coming out August twenty second.
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (57:21):
Fabulous and Amory. Since we've always been told that Gemini
in score we are not supposed to be compatible, but
this year we celebrated our twelfth year together and eleventh
year married. There you go, so predictions. However, she did
say that was pretty much seventy five percent her husband,
so we're definitely Our pendulum is that this stuff has
(57:43):
to It's so interesting how because if you didn't read
it until now, it's not like you are trying to
be that. So my final word is if it helps
you use it, if it doesn't help you, leave it.
Thank you so much. This has been very, very fun,
and go support Ricky and all of his music. Uh,
