Well?
Speaker 9 (02:49):
I would say that they think that there's a cure
for it.
Speaker 10 (02:53):
Okay, instead of a cause for it.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
This is the first call in show, and when I
get to be doctor Marissa, the kinder gentler Doctor Laura,
and people call in to get their life tires balanced
and their critical thinking or their bs, their belief systems
smog checked. And today I am delighted to have Malee
(03:29):
calling in from Birmingham, Alabama.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
We could go ninety days and end up having terrible sex.
And then he said, well, the relationship is not all
about sex.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Well, if I'm not getting great sex from you, I'm
gonna get it from somebody else.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Right, That boost just got put on the table.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
And I see Josh and Jim, I have to agree,
you're both nodding, nodding nodding. Ramon's sort of half nodding
because his wife's listening.
Speaker 10 (04:05):
I understood what was going to happen if I, Muhammad
Ali's youngest daughter made public that I was going to
become a boxer. So I want to make sure this
was the path that I wanted to go down.
Speaker 11 (04:15):
You are absolutely fabulous, beautiful inside and out, and I've
given you Doctor Mersu's beneficial presence on the plane of
reward too?
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Does it right back?
Speaker 4 (04:46):
To tell you another.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
From when I go I'm gone?

Are you lonely?
Speaker 9 (04:52):
No?
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, I knew that was going to be. But I
surround myself with people. I mean, I'm always the one
cooking for thanks for I'm always the one that decorates first.
Speaker 7 (04:59):
And to my house, all the orphans at place, I'm
gonna have no place to go, say okay, come on over.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
And life is so amazing if we can see it.
Speaker 9 (05:12):
Evolved an exhausting amster wheel and into balance. Living with

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Pay and welcome you're tuned in to take my advice.
I'm not using a GIF balance with Doctor Marissa The
Morning Show here on CACAA, NBC News, CNBC News, NBC
Sports Radio station AM ten fIF FM one oh six
(06:02):
point five and streaming everywhere. iHeartRadio, Spotify, iTunes, Student, in Audible,
Amazon Music, t Live, rumble Pod, Chaser, Speaker, Streaker and more.
Why so many places. I want to maximize my splatter
zone for more whole and happiness, So there's no gossip,
no scandal, no kwords, no Kardashian talk here at all. Instead,
I want you to focus on what's good in your
(06:24):
life and balance out all of those ugly, angry headlines
with some heartlines. And uh yeah, that's why I'm here
seven hundred consecutive weeks later, one thousand, four hundred and
eighty eight podcast shows and over a million, four million
impressions now on my YouTube TV channel Sirens, indicating that
(06:48):
that is an important truth to remember. And as you
can tell from who's in studio today, I have my
beloved co host for Straight Talk Rebel, in addition to
being my bump partner on the Red Carpet. He's a
Billboard top forty recording artist, has seen on tour with
(07:09):
Britney Spears. He's been a Grammy member since twenty seventeen,
part of the voting membership for the Recording Academy. He
was discovered by Michael Jackson, signed to his label on Sony,
and later signed to Madonna's record label, Maverick Records. And
I can see all the rebels are marching in into
the studio. Please welcome back here live with me, Rick,
(07:34):
you rebel, Hi, Darlen, happy to be here, Happy to
have you again. As you can tell, I found my
voice in Lost and found it's still I'm still a
little bit in touch with my inner mail that that
(07:55):
Tom in there, but little but surely. That was hilarious.
When Leila asked me to well, I took the mic
after you. We were trying to corral the people and
I'm like, like, what is she saying? At least you
(08:16):
know got them closer, right, Yeah, Yeah, We're going to
start with breakfast. I see the rebels are in the house.
Welcome to this show, Welcome to Fridays. This is a
time we have some fun. Glad you're here. With us live.
(08:37):
The only rule is no politics, no religion other than that,
and I am allowed to get a little bit naughty
on Fridays because it's Friday and I'm driving to Vegas,
so I'll start that as my breakfast item. We're going
to take a bite of my gratitude sandwich. And that
(08:57):
means the top of the bun things that we're grateful
for outside of ourselves, bottom of the bun things that
we're grateful for inside of ourselves. So I'm grateful that
today I get to go celebrate in Vegas at the
Venetian with two beautiful sweets. One of my best friends.
(09:17):
I've known her for thirty years. I know, I met
her when I was two or twelve. But I'm excited
about that. Even though blood clots keep me from flying,
does not keep me from driving, So I'm excited about that.
What are you grateful for?
Speaker 4 (09:34):
I love that, I love that, I'm grateful for I
just first thing it popped up in my head was
my partner Patrick. Grateful for him. We've been together for
about thirteen years now, and yeah, a happy, We're really happy.
So I'm knocking on wood for that. And grateful.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Yeah, that's great.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Where did you go.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Glare on Mela? Yeah, I put the curtains open so
you could see the view, but the glare was too big.
I couldn't see. Sorry. And I love his partner, doctor Patrick,
if you've missed both shows where I get to interview him,
(10:22):
and you know anyone who suffers from addiction, brilliant psychologist
and therapist. He really breaks it down. So if you're
wondering yourself if you were an addict, take a listen
to that show. It's in the show treasure Chest, which
you can easily access by free subscribing to my YouTube
(10:44):
TV channel. Okay, I am grateful that tonight I will
be covering the carpet as one of the sponsors for
Spirit Awakening Voices of the Unheard, taking youth out of
juvenile Hall and teaching them they're worse so they stay
out of the system. So if you are free tonight,
(11:04):
come join me at Skirball Center in lon bell Aiaeah.
It's a lot of fun. What else are you grateful for?
Speaker 4 (11:14):
I'm grateful, grateful for all of these shows that are
coming up and all the shows I have on my calendar.
This Saturday, I'll be performing at the kuckabooa lounge in Hollywood,
and it's a charity event for it's called Saving Face International.
We're raising money and basically plastic surgeons donate their time
(11:37):
and energy and talents to helping women and men whose
faces have been just scarred with domestic violence or terrorist attacks,
anything like that, and they help reconstruct their faces and
make them beautiful again. So it's a really beautiful cause.
A lot of great comedians will be there, artists. So
(11:59):
this sat And around four pm is our call time,
so probably six pm for the red Carpets the Cuckaboo
a Lounge this Saturday. This Saturday.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Why do you always do events when I'm out of
town tomorrow? I don't know what what happens about us?
We match all the time. The one thing we do
not match at is I swear to goodness every single event. Oh,
we'll have to get it together.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Yeah. And then and then this other show we got
coming up October eleventh in Vegas with April Diamond and Renee.
It's called Diamond Rebel Renee. We're gonna be doing a
big show out there at Dust Nightclub October eleventh. I'm
going to Dust Nightclub, their website and buy tickets there
and then other shows I've got going on. I'm going
(12:52):
to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in November.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Wait wait wait, wait wait wait, I gotta get it.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
And that's going to be in uh where is that
Burbank in the Warner Brothers studios? And you must come,
you must, you must.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
What day is that? What day is that? What day
is that?
Speaker 4 (13:23):
I have to get the exact date. It's sometime in November,
and I'm hosting on social media.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Okay, well, I wouldn't have been there if I the
blood clots hadn't grounted me. So the good thing is
I'll be. I was supposed to be a month in
Shanghai in November right here, and I will. I will
definitely make it. Because you're Kucko Bar Lounge.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
I won't be.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
I'll be in Catalina Island.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
Oh my gosh, Well how about November eleventh? November eleventh,
I'll be at Lucky Strike. We're working on a residency
in Lucky Strike. I'm producing a residency there for artists
and it's going to be like LGBT Night at Lucky
Strike in Hollywood. Nine November eleventh.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
That's all.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Oh, Deborah Godinaz just said. The induction ceremony is November fifteenth.
Thank you, thanks mom.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Okay, I'm going yeah, get that flyer to me and
I I it's on here. I'm putting Ricky all day.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
Okay, November eleventh, Lucky Strike in Hollywood November fifteenth will
be the induction ceremony, and everybody's welcome to come and
buy tickets and be a part of that too, if
you're if you're in the Hollywood area, come on out.
So I'm just grateful we're working doctor Marissa. We are,
and then we just did. I'm grateful for the fashion
(14:44):
show we just did. We you and I judged a
fashion show. I think that's what the show should be
about today. This fashion show that she and I judged.
It was so much fun. You know, I love participating
in events, right, not just attending them, but like really
actively participating in Layla. We love her so much. Thank
(15:04):
you for giving us the opportunity to do that. That
was so great.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
Yes, Ricky and I were judges. We were We didn't act.
We act like fools.
Speaker 12 (15:15):
Man.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
We had such a good time we did.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
I think we had the most of the best, most
fun out of anybody there.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
I think we were the most photographed and videographed of
more than the models, honestly.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Yeah, yeah, we had so much fun.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
I see we're like in everybody's feed dancing and and uh,
I don't know if you saw what I said on
my compilation, I don't know how Like we didn't say
let's do the bump, right, I didn't say let's spin,
but at the beginning, I didn't say let's do the bump.
(15:54):
We just like naturally, and it was like so perfect.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
It was. It was a perfectly extra executed Bob. I
didn't have to We didn't have to say anything. You
just knew what I wanted to do.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
I was like, and you knew what I wanted to do.
Just oh my gosh, did you put that? Yeah, yeah,
I'll put social media. Yeah, let's see, I have to
find the Instagram, right. But yeah, that was super fun.
I'm grateful that we get to do fun things like that.
(16:28):
And it was at the Santa Anita Race race park,
and I got to, Uh, usually I get to in
between the designers that are going down the runway. I
would bet horses, and I could not bet horses because
(16:50):
we were judging. Yeah, so I bet uh all the
horse races at the beginning. I had to make sure
none got scratched in between when I could run out there,
and I won nothing for the first eight races, nothing zero, nothing, nothing.
And the ninth race, I want to trifecta and the wind.
(17:14):
So two hundred and ninety nine dollars. Oh, I didn't
tell you. I didn't tell you.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
An see, I didn't know that.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
I know, I know you were on like a streak.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
You were like, dang it. It was like every single
thing you didn't want was whinning.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
I didn't I couldn't see the race from where we were.
It was excruciating, but it was very happy making on
the other part. But let me show us, I mean,
let me show y'all are dancing. This is pretty funny. Okay,
this is the one here. Let's see where's the wow? Hey? Hey,
(17:54):
is that great?
Speaker 9 (17:55):
Or what?
Speaker 4 (17:58):
I started laughing.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
I'm trying to work a straight but I always killed myself.
I'm trying to miss your jacket. Last time I got small.
Speaker 12 (18:19):
N and he's playing yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
You can hear him tap in the background. There's a
d day.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
We're not beautiful.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
I'm gonna get a copywriter wrap.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Man, that was so much fun, so fun.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
I'm grateful for those moments.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
I'm grateful for those moments.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
And I'm grateful for smartphones for capturing all of that.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Yeah, in a good in a in a nice cinematic way,
getting better and better.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
A j captain of the cashw Gallery is grateful to
be alive another day. He's always good with the gratitudes.
And we haven't. I don't think i've seen nota before. Welcome.
She's from Jamaica.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
No, I think that's Japanese.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Yeah, I thought she said cool.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
I think I met her when I was in Japan.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
And Mama, it's November, all right. So one, let's go
to the bottom of the bun, the bottom of the bun,
because I like it on the bottom and I might
just get it. No, I shouldn't say, you know, what's
in Vegas stays in vic.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
Let's know what that is? Good? Well, good, that's good.
I'm happy for you.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
I don't want to have to, you know, reave virginize
all of oil again. So mom, don't listen. The bottom
of the button is weightlifting training for self esteem? Okay,
(20:25):
a lot of us grow up with well meaning, sometimes
more mean than well parents who say, don't doot your
own horn, You're not all that, and it's you know,
well meaning. But mental health is the foundation in my
in my estimation is how well are you able to
(20:47):
like yourself? Like really like yourself? Not all the time?
You know, I don't want your ego maniacs walking around
perfectly located. He goes, I'm not talking talking about Oh
I love that expression. Uh Are you an ego maniac
with an inferiority complex? H You know those people who
can dish it out but they can't take it. Yeah, yeah,
(21:10):
that's the definition. So we don't want that. We want you,
at the end of the day tonight to be able
to say I've done the best that I can with
it resources and time that I've had. Am I eighty
eight percent a good person? And what qualities do I
have that it doesn't matter what anybody says about me.
(21:30):
That's mean, it doesn't matter what happens that doesn't go
my way, I'm still a good person. Because then you'll
fall asleep and you're not going to be up all
night thinking about you know what you didn't finish or
you know who done you wrong? All of that is
not good for us, so that's why we do the
bottom of the button. So what do I like about myself?
(21:52):
I like that I have consistently for seven hundred consecutive
weeks been on the air on camera at nine am
for the morning so or once a week before that,
to you know, no matter how I feel, because I
know that that's my mission in life, eighty eight million
more happy people in the next eight years. And I
(22:14):
appreciate my ability to do that.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
I love that I honor that commitment being your word,
so good.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Absolutely. What do you like about yourself? Riki?
Speaker 4 (22:29):
I like that lately there's been there's been a lot
of drama in my sphere, and I haven't let myself
or I haven't fallen for the trap, you know. I've
allowed myself to be viewing it from a distance and
(22:52):
kind of just not labeling it as a personal thing
as much, which is really nice, not trying to take
in a personal way, but kind of being like, well,
that's where this person is at the moment. I like
that background. That's my favorite background.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Yeah, thank you. I was I was just playing around,
But I'm glad that you like it.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
I like it, Yeah, I just haven't fallen for it.
There's been opportunities for me to get angry and want
to get revenge or but or to even just feel
sorry and sad in an overly emotional way for someone.
It's like people's choices have led them to where they're
(23:36):
at now, and you really, me crying about that or
me being upset for them or is not going to
help the situation. Because I'm a big sponge and I
just I feel what they're you know they're going through,
and you're going to put the boom moose drop. So
(23:56):
that's when I'm learning.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
That's That's a two things to that. One is that's
a skill. That's a superpower when you know that buying
into someone else's bullshitaki is not helping them, right, it's
a it's not helping them. And two, you look fabulous
(24:18):
this morning. I mean you always look fabulous, but your
hair and your skin you look particularly and I think
it's because you've got that observer's skill, right. You can
watch the drama but not get involved in the drama.
That's a super skill, super scale, super scale. For sure.
(24:42):
I appreciate that. I love, love, love to I love
good food. I made my Mojong Beaches, my new Mojon
group that I that I am creating from all of
the other big modu organizations that are out there, and
we went out to eat before our Thursday night play.
(25:05):
And there's just the deliciousness of life, right, which is
why I'm so grateful I haven't had COVID because I'm
afraid of that losing your sense of smell and touch,
a sense of smell and taste. But what a life
is so amazing and you can.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Taste it, taste it, and not everyone appreciates that enough,
I think the way you and I do.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Oh so that time when we went to that cafe, oh.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Right, we went to uh, what was it, Earth Cafe? Right,
Earth Cafe, and we just appreciated every single taste and
every bite and even even our food that we got
at the Pasadena place. It was just this little sandwich
that you brought. But I was like, oh my god,
this is so good. This is we're associating, we're appreciating it.
(26:04):
And I don't know if people really love food.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
I'll have to give a shout out to Santa Anita
Catering or whoever does their food because there was extra
that I got for staying late and clean helping clean up.
Speaker 13 (26:19):
Uh, a food a food tray and a Mexican cobb
salad and those were like I ate for the next
three days.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
It was so good. Anyways, we've got to stop talking
about it. It's so so all right, here we go.
Here's a here's a bottom of the butt for you
from someone else. I like that. Ricky always seems grounded.
He doesn't let stardom go to his head like some celebs. Absolutely,
Pam one hundred agree with you.
Speaker 4 (26:52):
Thanks Pam.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
That's great.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
That's appreciate the support.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
What sorry, Ricky, did you spell something? Oh yeah, yeah, okay,
I do that too. All right, that's it for breakfast.
Thank you for joining us today for breakfast. I'm here
every weekday morning to have breakfast with you, with or
without Ricky, but you don't have to join me. Just
(27:19):
try to start your day with gratitudes instead of ms
meaningless scrolling so that you can really sandwich your day
in the most positive way. Thanks for joining us for breakfasts.
And now for the topic of the day. It says
(27:45):
everything is awesome. What is the topic of the day.
Have a special guest and she will come at some point.
But yeah, so we didn't pick a topic because we
thought we were having April Diamond. But uh, y'all, you
know what, you get to pick the topic. What would
you like to as long as it's not religion or politics? Yeah,
(28:08):
what would you like to talk about? Let's see what
the Cashew gallery says and we'll give them a minute
to uh to think about it. Yeah, and uh, what
would you like to talk about? Ricky?
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Well, I love the no topic shows that we do.
Sometimes there's no topic. We just got to go with
the flow. I love that Mama's looking for that skin glow.
Mama rebel. What shall I use? She wants to know
for skin low? Let's talk about skincare, okay, you know
(28:42):
for a moment. Yes, I love it.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Get the thing that you gave me for my birthday?
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Yeah? Do you love it?
Speaker 6 (28:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (28:50):
Should I go get it so I can?
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Yeah? You can? You can send them what I.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
Because I need to get something from my throat. Anyways,
I'll be right.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
Back, okay, and I'll just talk about what I love.
I love Obajie products. I was told by my skincare esthetician,
Michelle at LMA Aesthetics to go check out Obaji and
uh I fell in love with it and there's a
(29:17):
bunch of things you could use. I like their sunscreen.
Sunscreen is really important if you guys want to take
care of your skin in a just a very quick way,
just stay out of the sun and use sunscreen. And
they have a really nice tinted one that has like
a little little nice, just skin colored tint that's just
really beautiful, makes you glow a little bit. Uh So, yeah,
(29:41):
Obaji and I've been wanting to be sponsored by these
people for a while, but they really really should consider
sponsoring me because I use their products religiously. And what
are you? What are you looking at?
Speaker 3 (29:57):
Oh? Yes, this is what you gave me for my
birthday and I have been using it. Your skin scene relevant,
So it's a leave on skin mask. Let's see resting
(30:18):
resting mask. So at night you put it on and
then you know you can kill this. Thank you, especially
for how young I am. I don't tell how old
I am because it's better to be thought a fool
(30:39):
than to open your mouth and confirm it. And it's
better to be thought young than open your mouth and
disconfirm it. So That's why I don't because I know
it's just a number. And it's not that I'm not proud,
you know, people are like, oh, you should be proud
about It's like, it's not that I'm not proud of that,
but I really would like to be ageless. I mean,
(31:02):
I don't want to read. I don't I will never retire.
I just love, you know what I get to do.
So I think that age it is just a number.
And at the same time, you know, whatever helps bring
you peace. I don't want to go you know, oh
I'm ninety two and people go, oh, you look so good,
(31:23):
Like you could just say I look so good, doesn't
matter how old I am, right.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
I like the idea of you saying I'm this many
years young because I like this many years old.
Speaker 3 (31:39):
I do that all the time. Yeah, so you're so,
did you give the skin what? What was?
Speaker 9 (31:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (31:48):
Yeah, I told them to use an SPF. It's really
important to use SPF.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
Oh yes, it's like just in.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
General to take care of your skin. Try your best
to avoid long exposure in this time because a little
sounds good for you, right, but like, yeah, just exposure
on the on the face.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
Everybody tells me that like every skincare expert I've had
on the show, you know, I had Chris Gibson on.
He's a big YouTuber for skincare. He do you know
who he is?
Speaker 4 (32:19):
No, no giant skin care guru.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Yeah, he's like a best seller of the this Acne book.
I mean, yeah Acne. I'm surprised you don't know, because
it was one who.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
I think he wanted me to interview him.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Yeah, I did interview him. He was on my show.
He's he's pretty big, thirty seven years of skincare wow
five and twenty four thousand followers on his YouTube channel. Yeah.
So and super nice guy. I think would you guys
(33:00):
would get along so well, Okay, he's kind of like me,
to be honest, he's kind of like me, and we
share some similar, uh not great experiences with a couple
of organizations. So that also bonded us, just like we
got bonded through not so great affiliation as person. But yeah,
(33:26):
you'd love him. But I think he's coming out to
LA He's in Florida now, but when when he comes,
will definitely get together, you will, I mean, the three
of us already we're bad enough with the fooling, the
acting like fools in a good way, but that that
might be over the top.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
But I wonder what his sign is you got along
so well with him.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
I don't know, I have I'll have to ask. So
we just talked about beauty on the outside skin. I'm
gonna I'm gonna throw in my beauty on the inside.
What makes a person beautiful on the inside? And we
just have this sicky standard of I hate those sorry,
(34:10):
I hate strong, but it's true when people go like,
what is he doing with her? Or she's ugly or
he's ugly, and this judgment on external looks as being
the it all whatever. Yeah, yeah, and it's unfortunate, yeah,
(34:33):
because you know, people who aren't attractive by society standards,
who you would say are beautiful and vice.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
Versa, are not beautiful inside.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
And it makes them less attractive. Right should we name names? Oh,
go Dodgers, go to.
Speaker 4 (35:04):
My mom loves the Dodgers. That's funny.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
I love the Dodgers. I've got five bobbleheads. I have
a five bibble head set, and everybody keeps offering me
money to break up the set, but I don't want
to do that.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
My brother used to play by baseball all the time.
He was very good. My father is a great athlete
as well. Uh. And I used to get really bored.
So you know what I used to do. I used
to to entertain myself and the crowd. I would do
backflips on on the in the field.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Any other person would say, oh, I would get bored
and I'd play on the phone, or I'd read a book.
But Ricky does backflips to entertain the crowd. The crowd,
well that the birthday book. What would they call you?
The entertain Yeah, the.
Speaker 4 (36:03):
Day of Larger than Life. I've lived that my whole life.
And I didn't know I was like that until you know,
I read that. I read it and I was like,
oh my gosh, that is me. I do like to
go big like and I want I want like the
Cleopatra show, you know, I want like everything, the greatest
outfits of all time, the most expensive, the most beautiful.
(36:27):
I could see it in my head, and uh, it's
it's coming to me now more and more. It's really
really interesting, more than I've been focusing on what are
you laughing at the clear.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Head and coming but in my head and it's coming to.
Speaker 4 (36:46):
Me yeah, I didn't even catch that. Wow, someone's excited
to be in Vegas. She's ready.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Oh my goodness, it's too bad this wasn't an X
rated show because I got some stories.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
You're ready.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
My whole brand would go down the toilet. Oh okay,
wait a minute, we've got h We've got a Corey Chambers.
When you're ready for higher ratings, here's what people want
you to talk about. Okay, he's teasing us. I don't know.
(37:33):
Is this one of your guys?
Speaker 14 (37:35):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Well, he yeah, he's a he's a rebel. He suggests,
maybe there's a topic we can talk about.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Yeah, yeah, I have a feeling I.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
Don't want to know. I have no interest in the
P word.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
Yeah, yeah, exactly, I don't. Is that what he's gonna say?
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Maybe, but on a personal level, I mean, because that
would get ratings right if we did talk about.
Speaker 12 (38:00):
Any thing that is angry rhetoric, Blood is dish ugly,
you know, putting people in a bad light.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
If it bleeds, it leads, if it's gory. That's what
people like to talk about. And it ain't got no
space here. And they said, because I have that strict
rule an our, I mean this show wouldn't last a year.
So thirteen and a half years later, I'm still here.
(38:33):
I'm still very strong on this rule. And you know what, Corey,
honestly sorry, I'm gonna piss him off. I don't give
a flying fork through a rolling donut about ratings. I've
been this way my entire career because I know I'm
(38:55):
not for everyone. Numbers mean nothing to me because numbers
can be bought, and oh yeah, they all will not
buy numbers.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
And are bought. That's the bottom line.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
The bottom line is every person who has numbers buys
them that I've seen, so I don't buy them, and
it doesn't matter. You know. Yes, I'm happy that I'm
over four million impressions only because that allows, you know,
sponsorship or whatever. But I actually I don't even want sponsorship.
(39:29):
Like That's why I don't do commercials of product is
because I have to use them and really like them.
And so, you know, I have people who want to
promote themselves into their new book or whatever. They're the
ones they sponsor themselves. That works. You know, that's a
little different than the regular show doesn't make a lot
(39:50):
of money. It's a very nominal fee, but it's worked
for thirteen and a half years. You know, I'm Kevin Costner.
If you build it, they will come.
Speaker 4 (40:00):
Yes, Moose drop, moos drop. Oh wait, one of my friends,
one of my friends has this philosophy and it's not
even his philosophy, but it's the way I feel. Ricky Justice, Cleopadga.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
I can see it. I can see it. Oh my god. Oh,
by the way, the the stuff you've been putting out
on social is magnificent.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Thank you. I'm getting you. Essence of the show, opal
Lighte taror Taylor's opal Lighte.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
I don't know what that is. Chevron, Refinery fire, else God,
you know, Corey, love you. But that can be talked
about everywhere else where. There's headlines by you know, the
the Refinery fire. It's like, oh no, another fire. Yes,
it's like, it's.
Speaker 4 (41:01):
What it is.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
I don't want to born.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
It's called fear porn.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
Fear porn exactly. Okay, he's changed.
Speaker 4 (41:13):
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (41:15):
If I want to know, Tylor Swift did release a
new record. We could talk about that. Speaking of Showgirl,
it's called Showgirl The Life of a Showgirl. I'm excited
to hear that record. A lot of a lot of
people have been releasing really good music lately or music period.
Dojakat released an album It's like an eighties type of vibe.
It's pretty good. Mariah Carey released an album, Love Mariah.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
He is ageless.
Speaker 4 (41:40):
That girl ageless talking about ageless again.
Speaker 3 (41:43):
She is so ageless. I love. And this is the thing,
is like, yeah, we can talk about this and we
do not bash anyone, like all the respect for someone,
you know, producing a new album or whatever. I have nothing.
This is yeah, we can talk about that. Let's talk
(42:05):
about the good that people do. I remember when I
interviewed Halle Berry. Before I interviewed her, I had heard
so many horrible things about her left, right and center too.
And she's beautiful, like kind a beautiful, kind, insightful, you know,
(42:27):
really sensitive, and it's just like, why do people That's
why I wanted to balance out the media. I didn't
want to have I don't and if I have a
negative interaction with someone, they're in their twelve percent. Nobody's perfect, right,
I've had, you know, interaction with the people who should
(42:48):
not be like that, but hey, none of us are perfect.
Twelve percent of the time we step in it. Yeah,
ey percent of the time we're fabulous.
Speaker 4 (42:57):
So we get hungry. Everybody gets hungry, exactly, we get tired.
Something bad happened that day. Possibly is Opal and.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
A song in her new album. I like Amy Lee
from Van Essence News song with Poppy and love Plant.
Speaker 4 (43:18):
I heard that song. AJ shared it with me. It's
very good.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
Is it very good?
Speaker 4 (43:25):
It is very good. I love Evan Essence. Uh. And
so Amy Lee is just keep continuing the legacy that
she is and and she's working with Poppy, who's a
very interesting avant garde artists, and Courtney, who's a great screamer.
My gosh, I've never heard a woman scream like that
really on a record. It's a pretty heavy record. But
(43:48):
AJ loves it and he shared it with me, and
I like it too.
Speaker 3 (43:51):
It's cool, cool, not my company. Taylor Swift's connection to
Oplit comes from the song of the same name in
a twin My five Life of a Shruggle. In interviews,
she explained the deeply personal meaning of the track, And
you know, I love how she's an open book. I
(44:11):
love the way that she lives her life out loud.
Kind of like we do here and there's that takes
a lot of courage. I think her music is that way.
Her lyrics, it's very because it does open up two
(44:33):
cruel people, right.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
Oh gosh. Yes, she has tried her very best as
well to be this lane that I've been talking about,
the Dolly Parton lane that I'm on right now where
I'm I'm on the Dolly Parton lane from now on.
I'm not going to go this way or this way.
I'm just on the Dolly Barton lane. And I feel
like Taylor is doing her best to do that. You know,
(45:01):
she's she's really trying to to stay in a in
a focus on music, focus on the art form when
artists start to deviate from that, and be a human
being again, because it's very human for us to have
opinions that are, you know, different than other people's opinions
in the mast sometimes it's very human of us to
(45:23):
share those things. But what I like about her, she's
a businesswoman. First, Taylor Swift. She's a businesswoman. She knows,
she realizes that she is. This is her brand. She
realizes she's a brand, and she's okay with that. She's
aware of everything that she's putting out and she's very
hyper aware of her image and the effect that she
has on the fan, on the audience. I wanted her
(45:47):
to do the super Bowl, to be honest, to do
what the super Bowl? Oh okay, she must do the
super Bowl at some point, but Bad Bunny's going to
be Wow.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
Yeah, that's surprising to me actually, but will Yeah, Like
I think that if we would have world peace if
people didn't walk around thinking or acting like everybody has
a right to my opinion and I'm right and you're wrong. Like,
(46:27):
why can't we Which is our mission here for this
particular rendition of the show, is can we bring back
we agreed to disagree? It's why is it so threatening
for someone to have an opinion that is different than yours?
Speaker 4 (46:44):
We used to learn that in school. Yeah, they taught
us these things like hanging up sometimes people.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
You're not going to see things the same way? Did
I show you the Old Woman? And I did it
on somebody's show. But this is a perfect time to
bring this up. Okay, show me, Yeah, I will. Oh
you're gonna love this. Oh I use this when I
(47:13):
speak on on demonstrating.
Speaker 4 (47:19):
Oh yeah, yeah, I love this I talked to my
mom about this.
Speaker 3 (47:22):
Did we do it on this show?
Speaker 4 (47:24):
We've never done on this show. No?
Speaker 3 (47:25):
Okay, good, But like I talked to my.
Speaker 4 (47:28):
Mom about this, that that life is like this.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Picture exactly exactly and.
Speaker 4 (47:33):
We can look at it a certain way and they're
both real.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
So AJ Corey, whoever's in the chat? Do you see
an old woman or a young woman? Usually I just
ask what do you see? First?
Speaker 4 (47:48):
But I see a young woman?
Speaker 3 (47:51):
Okay, beautiful? And do you see the old woman? Is
your mom still on?
Speaker 4 (47:57):
I don't think she's on right now?
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Okay, So so play along. I know there's a leg
on the chat, and if you're driving, do not use
the chat. Wait till you get somewhere. But uh, so
you see the central figure there? Do you see an
old woman or young Okay, Pam sees a.
Speaker 4 (48:17):
Young Yeah, I'm trying to see the old woman now, Okay,
I'm transforming my perspective. I'm transforming my perspective now, I'm
trying to see the old woman.
Speaker 3 (48:29):
It's not going bigger on there. But okay, so that
can you see my little uh poker thing here? My
my pointer? Oh you can't see the pointer? Okay? Well,
can you see the young woman that.
Speaker 4 (48:48):
Mom sees the old one, Mom sees the old woman.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
You see it, You see the old one. Oh, she's driving.
Speaker 4 (48:54):
Stop Mom, pull over, and Corey can easily shift between
the two perspectives.
Speaker 3 (49:03):
He's okay, So you see, you've gotta you've gotta. You've
got a good diverse. You've got the ability to hold
two realities at the same time. And this is why
people see different things at an accident. This is why
people can't agree because they this proves that the same
data can give rise to two completely different realities and
(49:26):
they're and they're both true, right, and which is better
neither one? Some people will say that young is better
than the old. I use this as a joke with
my executives, like that. It's totally like this. This is
what life is. Okay, so let's see if that'll make it. No,
I lose Ricky that way, hold on, let me do this.
Speaker 4 (49:51):
He revealed his sexual orientation.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
Okay, Pam cannot see the old woman. Okay, Pam, here
it goes. You'll see the young woman, yeah, Ricky do
so the young woman is looking into the distance. See
that her face is turned right, So now.
Speaker 4 (50:10):
Step oh, I see I see it, I see it,
I see it.
Speaker 3 (50:13):
Step back, I see it now. Yeah, if you step back.
And this is and this is so indicative of how
to be more effective with more people, is you have
to step back from your perspective, okay, and you'll widen
your lens and you take in the bigger face, the
(50:33):
bigger face, and bring her face into closer to you.
So the face turns to you. So now the neckline
becomes a chin and the chip her chin becomes a nose.
So the older lady is looking into you. Do you
(50:55):
see it now, Pam? And then uh, this is her
hair and it's the scarf, so they the older woman
is bigger. So again, if you still can't see the
older woman, you can come to a coaching session with me.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
I'm shifting back and forth now.
Speaker 3 (51:15):
Yes, And and that's a skill because that's the ability
to relate with someone else's reality. So good for you, Corey.
That's so important. And and it just you know, this
is when people go, you're wrong. Uh no, they just
(51:38):
don't see what you see.
Speaker 4 (51:41):
How you were raised and that's policy where you were
raised based upon different childhood traumas that you experienced, based
upon any difficulties that you're going through that maybe someone
else doesn't understand, or all kinds of things that that it.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
Is see things exactly. Yeah, so if we can bring
back And it's so hard, and our country has now
polarized in a way that I've never seen it polarized.
The good news is we are an example here. We
will stay that example where we are more than our bs,
(52:27):
we are more than our belief systems. We are loving
and lovable, loved. Everyone is wrapped in a warm blanket
of worthiness. All eight billion of us have unique talent,
skills and ability. Everybody wants to be happy most of
the time on the planet, and that's what we focus on.
And what makes me happy may not make you happy.
(52:50):
And some of the people say, but doctor Marsa, people
are doing things that are not making me happy. Well,
there are other people that are doing things that do
make you happy. So focus your eyes on that. If
you don't like what you're looking at, don't quit forking
looking at it. Because you're the boss of your focus.
(53:10):
You can shift your focus. You're the boss of what
you pay attention to. Pay attention to someone else. Oh
but this is wrong, and this is wrong and this
is wrong. Yes, and there are organizations that are doing
something about it. Focus your attention on them. Uh, bring
them on the show, you know, talk about them instead
of talking about what's wrong.
Speaker 4 (53:32):
Right involving your community. Moose drop, get involved.
Speaker 3 (53:39):
I'm surprised nobody's asked why do you do moose drops?
I guess they all know I was borning and instead
of talking about the elephants in the room, Yeah, I
talk about put the moose on the table, and then
we combine that with mic drop with moose drop. Although
you say moose drop, I'm thinking moose droppings.
Speaker 4 (54:01):
Hey, it works there too.
Speaker 3 (54:04):
Totally does. And we're out of time again. God, where
did this hour? Godn't I didn't even take a station.
I d oh, well, they'll have to cut it in later.
But thank you so much everybody in the Cashew gallery.
What a great action it was today. And uh, I
(54:26):
know Corey, it's going to get ratings. And thank you,
my beloved Ricky. I love you so much. And here's
to a lot more dance offs. And uh, we just
do have a really good time ome we're together.
Speaker 4 (54:46):

A federal judge is temporarily blocking President Trump's deployment of
National Guard troops to Chicago. The judge partially granting a
temporary restraining order requested by lawyers representing Governor J. B. Pritzker.
The order, which will last for two weeks, temporarily blocks
mister Trump from federalizing and deploying the Guard in Illinois. Meanwhile,
in Oregon, the Trump administration's requesting a pause to a
(58:07):
lower court rulling that blocks the National Guard from operating
in Portland. The ceasefire plan agreed to by Israel and
Tomas has been ratified by the entire Israeli cabinet. The
deal includes the release of all hostages and conditional Israeli
withdrawal from Gaza, along with the release of some Palestinian prisoners.
President Trump says the ceasefire long awaited, but on a.
Speaker 8 (58:28):
Much bigger basis peace, and I think it's going to
be a lasting peace, hopefully at everlasting peace, peace in
the Middle East. We secured the release of all of
the remaining hostages and they should be released on Monday
or Tuesday.
Speaker 14 (58:41):
At some point, perhaps Monday, the presidents expected to issue
a declaration that the war between Israel and Toomas is over.
A grand jury in Virginia has indicted New York Attorney
General Letitia James on mortgage fraud charges. James took the
social media to respond.
Speaker 16 (58:57):
He's forcing federal law enforcement agencies to do his bidding,
all because I did my job as the New York
State Attorney General. These charges are baseless, and the President's
own public statements make clear that his only goal is
political retribution at any cost.
Speaker 14 (59:18):
James and President Trump have traded public insults for years,
especially after the Democrat won a civil fraud case against
mister Trump. The man charged with starting the deadly Polisades
fire in California will remain behind bars in Florida. Federal
magistrate in the Sunshine State is ordering Jonathan Rinderneck to
