much I always laugh from around her. I was already
laughing off camera before you started, and freak and I
am so happy she's here. She's one of your favorites
and she's back as doctor Obrecht. Help me walk up.
We have to even say her name. We are going
to say it. Kathleen Dottie Hi, Kathleen, Hi.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Dr Liesel Obrecht.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
That's hi.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Good to see you guys again. Thank you for having
me on.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
By the way, Michael, hi, and tell me we're not
in person. We're not in person. I usually give them
a hug.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
And no, I know, He's like, we're not going to.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
So yeah, so we're here. So before we start with her.
Of course we're gonna tell you we already did the
Wine Army Spotlight with the Bald and Beautiful Mean Spotlight.
They are out now. You can check them out audio
and video for your listening or watching pleasure. And then
of course after this, it's my buddy Tony Moore and
all his buddies over there during the Days of Our
Lives after Shudition days. That's on their channel Diition Day,
(01:23):
so I get three o'clock. Make sure you watch them
if you've missed it already. I have interviews out with
Connor Floyd, who is now now from Why Not Going
to Day's an interview with of course Rory Gibson from
last week that's out to you. And this week I'm
interviewing the original Kayla from Days of Our Lives. Name
is Captain Mary Stewart. She's also in films like a
(01:45):
few we have heard of Weekend at Bernie's The Last Starfighter.
She's been a bunch of things from the eighties, so
I can talk to her, so look out for that
interview later this week. I'm talking to a lot of
people this week. I love it. So that's all for
your soapy goodness. It's all for your so be goodness.
Come into the chat. Make sure you hit the like button,
hit the subscribe button, of course, if you're here, if
you're new, but I see all by regular. It's high Sandra, Higbee, Hi, Linda,
(02:08):
come on in the water's fine this time, Kathleen, how
are you doing.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
I'm doing great.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
I love you. I love you. Look you look good.
You look good. But your hair is lighter right now.
Your hair is lighter than a picture behind me.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yes, yes, we need an updated picture. But I'm glad
that I have a picture there. It's nice to be
back on the screenwork.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Does it ever get old? I know? I probably the
answer a ray. When people just love your character. We
know what she came from. By hated her years ago.
They love her.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
I hated her. I mean, I get the script and
I'm like, oh my god, they're gonna hate me so badly.
Oh I hate her.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I was, you know.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Luckily there's a little morphing and changing and mean and
then and then when I started getting nice, people are like,
you should be mean again. Okay, people like that mean stuff.
And I'm like, you know, it's fun. Being mean is
kind of fun.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Oh, yes, but the thing is you're back and people
are just loving it. So doesn't get old. With the
love from the fans, I mean they're literally the chatters.
We love Misscattia's back. We love She's back.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
I mean, it's just been so warm and kind, and
I'm just I'm overwhelmed. I mean I'm you know, I'll
look at the the stuff if I'm like have you know,
I'm like, oh, what am I gonna do? I'll look
at my stuff and all these like outpouring of love
and excitement. I'm like me too, you know, it's like
thank you. I'm just so touched by it all. It's
(03:36):
just because you know, when I'm working there, it's wonderful.
People are very kind, supportive. And then I disappeared for
a year and a half and I was like, okay,
I'm gone, and then I kind of came back, and
it's just the outpouring of love. It's like I moved.
I mean there are times I've actually started crying, like
look what they said. I think I think of you know,
(03:58):
Sally feels with the Rosters. They like me. They're really
like me.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
It's truly, it's truly gratifying, heartwarming, and and it just
makes me, you know, just want to do more and
give more. It's really touching. So all you fans not
thank you for all the support. Sometimes it's overwhelming. I
don't always get time to answer. I try to answer
when I can. I get inundated all the time, and
(04:23):
I really appreciate it, and I do try to respond,
but sometimes I just can't. Just too much and I'm
working or other things going on. But it's really really appreciated.
So thank you, everybody. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
To go back to your last. What I've liked about
Lisa is the way they've evolved her over the years.
What was it like, though, when they gave her a
functional romantic relationship when you're with you get paired with Scotti?
What was it like playing those scenes with Ken?
Speaker 2 (04:50):
So much fun just so much funny. He's wacky doodle
and everyone knows that I'm not saying anything.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Oh no, we all know Kim Scheiner.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Yeah, but it worked really well because he was so
wacky and Obreck's so square and boring, and you know,
just these two. It was such a contrast. And every time,
like even now i've been working, every time I've been
working with a different actor, and for me, I love
that challenge of each person brings different chemistry, different challenges,
different excitement. They work differently, they talk different. It's like
(05:24):
I have to behave different and each person brings out
each character and person actor combined brings out something different
than Obrecht. I love that, so Obert isn't just a
one dimensional character because I really don't. Did not sign
up to be an actress to play one character or
one note, Charlie. So for me, every time I get
(05:45):
somebody different, like rock O the kid, oh you know,
Kin's trying to you know, the Scott the wacky, He's like, oh,
he brings out our teenage goofy self that she never
got to be. So it was all these colors. So
I'm always so excited every time I get a script, like, oh,
so many different, so many different. So Monday it's with
I'm working with Finola there there tomorrow Monday. Yeah, that's
(06:07):
you know. So every time it's something different in different people,
it's just to me, I love that. I love the
challenge of different chemistry because they, like I said, they
bring up different sizes of obreck who isn't just born
you know, just one level, and that makes it fun
for me as the actress. It's like, oh new challenge.
You know, what's Obreck going to come do this time?
You know, and that helps create you know, the freshness,
(06:31):
the spontaneity of of that of that episode, of that material.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
As as an act As an actor, do you feel
like in those moments when you're paired with somebody new
you kind of get uh, you do the scenes well,
but do you feel like you've nailed it the way
you want to nail it or do you need to like, Oh,
now I know how this person, what they bring to
a scene. I know how if I am in a
scene with them in the future, how I'd want to
come at them.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
That's a good question. I work alone usually with this
animal because there's eyes, you know, and then the night
before I work, Michael runs my husband runs the lines
with me and stuff. So I have an image of
how I want it shaped, how I want it to sound,
how I want it to look. I have to say
most of the time it comes out that way. There
(07:19):
are times when the other actor. It happens a lot,
and I'm sure I don't always give the other actor
what they need. From me, there isn't really time to
like rehearse, and you know, like theater, let's try this
way and that way. You're a feature film or prime
to let's try it this way, let's try it that way.
You just get in there, bang wham, you know, and
just do it. So but most of the time I
have to say they really, you know, the actors, we
(07:40):
kind of work at it. And I mean there's just
obvious things like where you have to say something like
don't yell at me, and you hope they yell at you.
If they go, you know, I don't like you, don't
yell at me. I mean, it doesn't work. So but
you know that's the director's responsibility. And again if the
actor goes, you know, I don't like you, it's like
I go, don't yell. I have to adjust and I'm
(08:02):
not going to change the dialogue because that's not fair
to the writers. And it's written a specific way, especially
for my character. It's very stylized, kind of like Spinelli's
character too. I've noticed that he has that sort of
there's a rhythm and thing, and Noebeck's like that too.
It's very stylized. So I can't and I don't want
to go off book and make stuff up because it's
so beautifully written for me. I love the writers. I
(08:24):
love what they've given me. I always feel grateful. It's
like I can sink my def into this. This is funny,
this is tragic, this is you know, just so many things.
So for me, very it's a good meal every time
I get a script. So I'm not sure that answers
your question, but I have to say, most of the
time actors give me what I need, and then the
rest of the time you go to technique, which is
(08:45):
why you study for years. People are like, oh, I
want to be a silk star like you. I'm like,
I'm not a selk starmann actor, but working actor. But okay,
thank you, but study study. It's a technique. Yes, one
or two people wake up and they're glorious and brilliant talented,
like concert pianists when they're five or composers when they're ten.
But most people have to study, and it's a technique
because ninety you know, that's not fair to say ninety
(09:07):
percent of five. A lot of the times the other
actors having a bad day, they don't remember the lines,
they don't want to be there. They hate you whatever
it is, the chemistry is off and they don't give
you anything, or they're just like mumbling, or they're not present,
and you had it's called in dowing. You have to
be ten that person is who you the love of
your life or somebody you hate. I mean you have
to create that. So yes, I work at home. I
(09:29):
create the character and I bring it to the set
and I hope I get to play it the way
I want and I'll get from the other person. But
if I don't, try to make some adjustments. But at
General Hospital, the actress are fabulous and most of the
time it's good and we get you know, we get
to run it through dry blocking and you know, we
get a in the morning, just you know blocking stand here,
stand there, go there. And then sometimes some actress will like, hey,
(09:51):
you want to rehearse. I'm like, yes, please. Then then
we can you know, find out the other person, what
are they going to do or something, and then you'll
a little surprised and you pop it out on the
on the set to and kind of keep it fresh.
So I like the playing field. I'm not big on surprises.
I really like so you plan it out it's a
very quick moving show. Everyone knows it's a factory. We're
(10:16):
not doing one episode every two weeks. We're doing ten
episodes a day or two days. So it's insanely fast.
There's no time for you know, so you really have
to be on point, know your lines, do the things
come in, say it and moving on is famous line
moving on like Okay, I just gave you Okay, I'll
go home and try to recover my guts. I gave
(10:38):
you my guts moving on. So that's the nature of that.
It's a very unique type of filmmaking of production I
like anything else.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Well, the next thing about soaps too, is just the
fantastical nature of the genre where people are who've died
can come back to life. Now you get a chance
at you, Kelly, who you thought you had said good
bye to Britt. You have an opportunity. Hopefully, as I'm
sure the story is going to progress, you're gonna have
a chance. Every reunion. Was that the pitch when they
(11:10):
said that they wanted you to come back. It's like
this storyline is going to reunite you with brit at
some point.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Or nothing to do with her. Nothing wasn't even no.
I was told that a come back, like, Okay, are
you free or you available? Are you interested? I'm not free.
I was shooting a movie. I was doing a table
(11:36):
read for a possible new pilot, so I wasn't free,
but they worked around my schedule. So I was like
doing this film with Kevin Done, his fabulous actor playing
his wife, and Rachel Harris, who I adore from Suits hilarious.
She's anyway, so just great. Caitlin McGee played opposite her
fabulous actors. I'm in the middle of that. Then I
(11:57):
got it, you know, and then Fank calls a you
wanted to execut producer Fank Balancine, do do you have time?
Are you available? And I said, I'm doing a film
because we'll work around your schedule. So in one week,
I had table read all day because it was for
Big Markey mux and Fox and everything. So it was
like a full day schedule on Monday. On Tuesday, I
was able to study a little bit Wednesday, but I'm
(12:19):
studying for the film Wednesday. I'm shooting the film Thursday
and study a bit. Friday. I went in and filmed
thirty pages or general Hospital. Wow, And you know, I
only had the script five days. I only got the
scripts on Monday afternoon, so Friday I was shooting thirty
pages that I had gotten Monday afternoon, but I couldn't
touch it because of the film. Anyway, it was probably
I didn't get a heart attack, but it was close.
(12:41):
But it was, you know, I mean that it was.
It was challenging, and they and Frank Emery came up
to me and goes, don't really get easy again. I
was like, but it was so good to be back.
You know, everyone was warm and kind and friendly. I
felt like I was home again, but also the material
and I got to work with Roco. I think my
first day was with Finn car and he was nervous,
(13:02):
and I was nervous as Kathleen and is Obret because
meeting this kid who's not really her grandkid but wants
him to be. And you know, it's just this very
dystopian kind of like, what the hell, it's not my grandkid,
but I met you know, Obrek convinces herself anything she
wants to do, and I like that about her. It's crazy,
you know. And I'm going and I'm reading the scripts,
(13:22):
going thinking, and I think I'm a stalker kind of
a but anyway, but it was so good because he
was kind of nervous. He played it really well and
then I was sort of nervous. What you're saying Frank before,
It's like we brought our nerves, which were great for
the scene. You know. So it was like we're both
kind of awkward and and you know, should we hug. No,
we shouldn't because we're not really related, but no, we'll
just it was really nice. We'll do it again. You know,
(13:44):
it was great. I just loved that working with them.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Yeah, you guys took selfies. Let another scene later and
it made me laugh after I think it's selfie at
the pool.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Very creepy. I was like, oh my god, this is
so crazy. You know. I'm like, I'm I'm watching the
story outside of it and going, this is very sick.
People can go she's crazy, Yeah, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
But they loved it. That's whole point. You loved it,
and that's the thing. So we put the pickback of
a Frank. Luckily, with your character, over the years, you've
been moved around, so you're able to play with a
lot of different actors because your character kind of moves
and ships wherever they need They just put you where
they need you. And this especially, you're doing that again
this go around. Were seeing where people are like, oh
(14:30):
we get a quick scene with Maura West. There was
like more of that, more of that.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
I adore her. I think, to me, she's one of
the best actors out there. She's fantastic. She brings it
all the time. You know, I haven't had much to
work with her over the last you know, thirteen years,
but whenever I have, it's like, oh my gosh, she's
so great.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Yeah, they lift you up.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
I mean you have to work harder her and Jane's
Jane Elligott. I mean, you've got to bring your best game.
You always do, but it's extra and you're working with
the top dogs. You're like, I gotta be. I gotta be,
you know, I really have to.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
You're one of the top dogs. To you, girl, You're
one of the top dogs to you and our and
our eyes, right, Frank, we think you're one of the
top dogs for sure. Thank you. It was. But one
of the things that people are mentioning in a chat,
and also I want to bring up is that we
got to see you do some beautiful work with Steve
Burton that was out of nowhere. We're like, this week,
we're like, wait a minute, because you were because you
(15:28):
came into the whole scene, came to how Jews Weddy exploded,
and we get to all that. But it's kind of
funny that your scenes about brit were really kind of soft,
but you're also playing kind of drunk at the same time.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
I have to tell you. They cut and I guess
for time, but there was a bartender and I kept
saying and that the Schnupps naked a trip another snap,
so I kept ordering these drinks, but they cut that out,
and all of a sudden, I'm like, I had a
sip and I'm drunk, and it was like, I wish
they would have left that in, but you know, I
guess it's their editing and they have time crunch and
(16:04):
the show's too long. Cut out the bartender, and I
felt bad for the bartendery got cut out. He was
a nice kid. It was like, but it made sense
because there you see the progress of her ordering. She's
getting sad and the thing and the daughter, you know,
and then we're talking about it and makes her even
more sad. So that just all of a sudden, she's
drunk from one chnops. Not this woman. It takes five
chnops easily for her to get knocked out. So I
(16:26):
was a little disappointed they didn't put that in. But anyway,
but it was written that it was written. You know,
I always take the material. I always look for the
heavy where's the heaviest, you know, like I always take
the material to work it, like what's this? What's this saying?
And as far as I'm concerned, I'm Britta or Obrek
knows nothing about Britta. She's gone. She died in my arm.
(16:46):
She is gone. I don't have the scripts where I'm
with her. I did see Kelly Tibo once in the
makeup room and we hugged and we talked, and she
started saying explaining like how she's back, and I went,
you know what, don't tell me. I want to get
the script and I want to be surprised, and you know,
because when I get it, it's like and then then
I started creating what's going to happen? But Frankly, and
(17:08):
I don't want to frank I want to go back to,
you know, the whole thing where you guys are saying, yeah,
that stuff was Steve Burton. But talking about you know,
the scene was written that way. With all the material,
it could have been played light. But because it says
getting drunk, getting drunk in the script and more shops,
more schnops, more schnups. I don't know if you guys
had that stuff, but for me, half a schnapps, I'm done.
I had a double hit. Make it a double We
(17:30):
have much to celebrate. The opening, Oh much to celebrate.
You know that that was The wedding was a good,
Oh wonderful they didn't get married. I mean the lines
were just fantastic. I was like, oh, seriously, and then
did you sleep with my buda? I mean I was
cracking up. I thought that was the funniest line. So
for me, they're like, oh, Steve Burton must have cracked up.
I'm like, no, he can keep a straight face. I'm
(17:52):
cracking up because that line is awesome. It was what
it was, But actually it was really cool. The directors
don't get enough credit, but sometimes directors really give us
just zingers. You know, do this way, slam the door,
Oh that makes it. That says the time. People are like, oh,
you're so good to slam the door. The director made
me do it. The director gets the credit because it
was such a good job, you know, such a good
(18:13):
physicality thing. So the director and so some of the directors,
you know, they're all great, but I think this was
a d D. Dedie Masters and Alison Smith, I mean
a couple of There's a lot of female directors now too,
and I just love them all. They're all great and
each one brings something different. But when they get when
they give you these little moments, to me, it's like
(18:34):
I feel like we're puppets, like on Marionette in our
strings and the directors there isn't time on the soap,
but every now and then, you know, they move you
a little this way that way, and it brings your
performance from here to here. And a lot of those
great comments they belong to the directors. And I don't
know how to say it's not me as the director,
but you know, yes I take responsibility because I'm there,
(18:55):
But when the director gives you that thing. But this
time it was the opposite because Steve and I play
it was warm and I said, do I hate him?
Do I like him? I don't remember, it's been so long,
and I know he liked my daughter. My daughter liked him,
and then he had rocks far on his head and
that's all I knew.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
And whatever.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I don't know if he still has him on his
head or anyway he's back. So but they said no,
you guys are okay. Boom. That changed everything. So it
became this warm relationship and the director was like, oh,
I didn't see it like that. So that was fun
to show the director how, you know, how I wanted
to play it. And the director was totally good with herself.
Oh love it, so you know, But a lot of
(19:34):
times it's the other way around. The directors give us
not those gems that again lift the story from here
to just a little gesture putting my hand on you know,
touching his hand. Director, she said, touch his hand, great idea.
Or maybe I said me, I touch his hand as
a gesture. I don't remember. It's a blur. I did
six fifteen episodes in like three days. It was something ridicular,
(19:58):
like two weeks. No, a couple of weeks anyway, but
a couple of days.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
It was just.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Insanity, insanity, but it was great, you know. It was
just like back into the deep end, dive head first.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah, the chat is saying the scenes were so soft,
and they were they were sad, a touch of funny.
So if you were saying the chat and they were
just like, they're just like, it's we just didn't expect that.
He said, you both the ALM says you both did
such beautiful work, you would and I agree. Actually I
was going to tell Frank you whether you want to
show this peak or not. I just really it was
a nice surprise because I almost forgot to you, like,
(20:32):
how were they back there? I couldn't remember either. I
couldn't remember.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Ask a lot of times it's like, how are they?
Where do they need to be? Does you like him? Still?
Is you mad at me? You know you're talking about
my daughter? Is that a good thing? Is that a
bad thing? I mean, all these things. So you have
to find your way and then pick a path and
then hope that the director goes. You know, sometimes I'll go,
oh no, no, no, don't play it mad at him, play
it neutral, which is a lot of time, and so
(20:57):
because they don't know if they want to go take
it this way that way, you down, so you have
to kind of be like neutral, which is hard. I
don't like playing neutral. I want to make a choice strong.
You know, I hate you. I think you're nice, my daughter.
You know this. So there's I like making strong choices.
But a lot of times I go in and I
have to say, like do I hate them? Do I
love them? And my friendly do I want to stab him?
(21:18):
Poison him? I can do that. There's my utensil I tool,
implementive choice.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Speaking of gestures, the uh during the wedding ceremony, when
everything starts going off the rails, there's a insert shot
of you putting your hand on Nina's great the director, okayctor.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Director, there you go, director, there you go, director.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
And it was it was really good and I'm glad
we did that. But you know, there's twenty people in
the seeing the main stars, you know, the main story
characters or are Willow and Drew, and you don't want
to take focus away, so you just have to stay there.
Maybe a little look or something, but you really don't
want to take draw attention away because the story is
about them, and like step and Queen is the famous
actors who made it their job to steal you know,
(22:05):
the funders. It's like no, no, no, this is an
ensemble and right now we're giving focus to the Julie.
So but but then the camera will turn around they say, okay,
you know Cynthia, Kathleen or doctor O. Nina, we're going
to we're on you right now, and Ava you're behind.
We're zooming on you. Guys, Kathleen touch you know, take
her hand, look at each other. So that's that's in
(22:26):
the script. It's a director's thing. So those are really
those are really nice touches, and half the time they
don't get in because there's just no time you do it.
Even even like during the during the wedding, we did
our own from our We just look at each other like, okay,
this should be interesting, you know, just that between Nina
and doctor oh. So we had some of those moments
(22:46):
we put in ourselves. Some of it may have stayed.
I don't I don't remember. I just I do watch
every episode I'm in. It's torture, but just to make
sure it's you know, on point, the accent's okay, we
just kind of keep things reacting is appropriate.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
How much do you enjoy those those big ensemble days
like the wedding? Are those grab able to catch up
with people you don't get a chance to see two
opporomally totally.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
It's like a party. It's like a private Oh look
everyone see I mean we can't but there's not too
much time to talk. But in between, like, hey, what's
going on? How you doing? You know Rick? We worked
to goe years ago and then we did events and
started you know, so good. I haven't seen him in
eight years. And you know, we get older too. This
is so interesting. We're like all aging. I mean, you're
on the show ten years, twenty years. We're all like, ah,
we're growing old together. So it's kind of cool. And
(23:34):
then you know, and now we's got white hair and
you know, foot on some pounds, you know whatever. It's
like we're all kind of morphing and changing and older,
getting wrinkles. It's like, it's kind of cool. It's it's
you know, it's hard to see yourself on camera. But
on the other hand, we're family, you know, and we're
all in this together, and we're all growing older together.
And but it is a nice chance to catch up
(23:54):
and to see people that you really maybe you see
them for five minutes in the makeup room. Hey, how
you doing good? At gay? Okay, do my face? You know,
see there's no time to talk or something. But or
you're studying. I'm usually buried in my scripts, Like, don't
talk to me. I'm studying. People know not to mess
with me. They're like, oh, it's Kathleen, don't talk to her.
She's nuts. I got thirty pages. I going to beat
(24:16):
you to death with my script. But yeah, it's those
are really nice times, I have to say. And also
then this less pressure goes. Now Willow and Drew have
all the dialogue and we sit there in a cigar.
I'm gonna have the glass of wine. Where's that real schnapps?
You know, it's like, but it is nice. It's a
chance to breathe, relax, and we can connect with people.
(24:37):
That that's really cool. I do love that.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Well. Another thing to pick bag off of Frank also
is that, going back to this, you get to work
with different people. Obra Obrick comes in as a matriarch
of like this family of women.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
She's old. I'm like, you want now a matriarch. That's right?
I got older?
Speaker 1 (24:57):
Yeah, okay once and now you're a matrix. Right, that's
how that works, right, But no, but seriously, in terms
of your character coming now you have a whole different thing.
The planks. You came in and as we say, as
we say, you clocked everybody. She bad, she's going crazy.
What this one's out?
Speaker 2 (25:18):
You're out.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
You're dad right, You're like you got Willow, you got
it right away. You were just like okay, some wrong
with her, some wrong with her. And but you're like
you were like the audience like you came in and
said everything. And I felt like when I saw the
comments out there, there's like, see, we need o Break
to here because she'll come in.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
Yeah, people like you got to come back and clean house.
I'm like, okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
But also but see also because o Break is such
a fluid character, will say she can go from one
side to one side. That's part of the that's part
of the wonder minutes that they go, well, Obra comes back.
We know she's down for whatever, like she, I mean,
Obreak would do whatever for our people.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Yeah, no, bullshit. I really like that. I wish I
were like that. She's just I love this character. Seriously,
That's what I feel like. Did you miss being a
general hospital? I did, but I missed Opak. She's just
so take no prisoners, no bullshit. I like that, and
I try to be like her. You know, people don't
like it when I behave like that, but sometimes she
comes out. But it's it's so smart. I mean, why
(26:24):
all this pretent you know, pretense and bullshit and being
PC and say it like it is and it's like
this you want one of these? No, you know, I
dislike that so much.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
So yeah, you saw Willo. Literally you're like, she smiled.
You're like this chick smiled.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
She does doesn't miss anything.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
I love that. I just love that part of schedules,
like you're just like, no, your daughter smiled when she
said when you heard about daisying and leaving town, like
she smile, Like girl, there's something wrong with your daughter totally.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
And the script again, I'm reading this line's going, oh good,
finally somebody says what they need to say. Clean this act.
This is bullshit, that's not you know, just it's so
good again. The script, the writing, Oh bless the writers.
I just love it. I'm so grateful because it's you know,
it just makes it easy. I just come in. I mean,
I say the lines, I put the intent behind it
that you know, hopefully is the right intent. But it's
(27:18):
just so great. It's like having this perfect you know.
I always say, like connect the dots, you know, you
have all these really good dots, and then I'm the
actor and I kind of pull it together. But it's
just like if without good material, we are nothing. You're
an actor just you're just a three dimensional, one dimensional
body and just stander. But the material and then you
can bring whatever you feel is appropriate. That's gold.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
That's why we.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Keep an actor.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Uh. I mean, as I mentioned earlier, the relationship that
that that Obrag had was Scotti. I totally enjoyed and was.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
It.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
I don't know how you felt about when they decided
to separate them. I can understand Obrag's mores, but holy cow,
it was such a chance to say, like, oh I
really wanted to see that relationship continue.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Yep, me too. But I think part of it just
getting older. They're like, no, you're too old. We don't
need to see no, you know, old people in a relationship,
which I think is crazy because old people, I'm sorry.
Love and sex, okay, or just love or companionship, it's
for everybody, and don't just make it about twenty year olds.
Nobody cares, you know, yeah, the twenty year olds, your
hormones are raging. Well what happens when you're sixty, fifty, sixty,
(28:30):
seventy eighty. You're still alive, you still have a heart,
you still have emotions, and it's fun to see that.
And I think especially because the audience is it's a
you know, generational and there are people like our age
and older that have been watching for sixty two years.
I can't tell you how many people say, I've been
watching since I was a kid, and you're my favorite.
Those are the best club womenes that really you've been
(28:51):
Elizabeth Taylor, all those people, I mean more James Franco,
I'm honored if I'm just saying, but you know, because
they've been watching, they're older and they want to see them.
So I was represented. I would just started watching Leanne that,
Leanne Morgan, that so good and Tim Daiey whyde Door.
I mean just like she is so good and she's
so real and she's just like me and you and you.
(29:14):
You know, it's just such a great I'm like, show
real people, and I love that that our industry has
evolved into showing more real people. And I think because
we all want to see ourselves represented on screen. So anyway, yeah,
we watched some episodes last night, just like drinking bone
bone both trying to diet. I'm like, oh, yeah, I know,
I hate It's like I see myself on screen. I'm like,
(29:38):
I gotta work on that. So, you know, hiking and dieting.
It's like, oh, it's so much work. But it's part
of you know, it's all part of it.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
So I was watching Your Last Night too, because they
came out. I was watching the Last Night.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah, it's so good. Just yeah, it's a good joke.
So that's why. Yeah, they should show older relationships too,
in bed, out of bed, dining, talking, laughing, just be alive.
I mean, come on, as long as we're we're lucky
to get to be here. Thank god, you know, still here.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Okay, I agree with that. I think we should. There's
so there's soubs for multi generational beginning with that was
that was totally they.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
Should cater to every age group, including love and sex
for everyone. And again, does that be sex. It could
just be your love and play playtime. Who cares? I
mean now it's like we when have sex, you want
to go to movie movie.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
I get a good meal. I'm all a good meal.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Yeah, but I mean that is sex, you know, it's
just it's intimate talking and laughing fun and you know,
a partner or a friend whatever. But I like that
they show that. Yeah, and Frank, you're right. I mean
it was so much fun, the characters. It was evolving
really well. Anyway, It's okay, it's a soap. We go on,
people come in and change. I don't see ob At
getting another love interest, although it'd be fun again. But
(30:57):
I'm just so grateful to be there. I'm grateful for
every script, like I said, I've had. I did fifteen episodes.
I'm going back to do a couple more. Supposedly, I
don't know. It's all changing, and every day it's like
with a different actor, and that's kind of that's fun.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I kind of like that freshness. Every day. It's like, oh,
today it's you know, Rocko, Today it's Emma. You know,
today is Gary my grandson. And Spinelli, who I adore
this guy. And then oh and there's something with you know,
we have I have stuff coming up with Jeanie Francis,
love her, she's amazing. And Lulu, you know, Alexa Haydn's
I mean just new people. I haven't really worked with
(31:36):
GENI haven't really. I mean Alex was totally new, the
new lu So. I worked with her just a gem
and worked great. And then Dominique, you know, Don Dante,
and just every day somebody different. I get the script
another one. Oh, you know, it's like Christmas, another person
another So it just keeps me. It's so much fun.
And like Frank we said, you know before, it's just reasked.
(31:57):
It's like every day it's a different character this person brings,
said of O Bret. Oh, she can be goofy. This
one's serious. This one you want to kill them, this
one you hate them, you know, say Drew Nina slap
you around. I mean, you know, everyone gets something different,
and that's exciting as an actor to be inspired to have,
you know, to these people bring stuff out of you.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
What is the chat they're saying Martin has a love interest?
Tad Tad, I said, Tad. Michael y Knight, Michael y Knight.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
They say, who does he have a love interest?
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Who's his house? Nobody at the moment, right, Frank, That's
that's true.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
I love Michael. We got we talked to the wedding.
Michael and I go back to all my children. We
worked together in nineteen eighty nine, ninety a couple of months.
That's when when Maurice was there the plane and Ted
Knight and uh Rose and Evans Wait working with all
these people, and then Maurice left to do gah. We
(32:54):
had a whole story going in. Because he left, they cut,
you know, that was the end of that story. And
I was like, but but but this is my I
just broke into the industry. That was my big break.
I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
That.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
You know, No, I love Michael, but I would actually
I've been eyebollowing him. He'd be like, I think he'll
be a really good partner and also good for Orecht
as well. But it's not up to Meet's up to
the the you know, the soap gods whatever whoever, whatever
they want. Again, I just come in, I get the
script and I play my heart out. All I want
to do is do my best and entertain the audience
(33:28):
and uplift them hopefully or distract them from their crap
for five minutes. That's it. That's my goal. I have,
you know, minimal goals that but that's a huge. But
it's a huge assignment because you get the material, you
work your ass off, you study it, your you know,
I chew it up, is spit it out. I mean,
poor Michael is like, I'm going to go hide. I'm
going to put on my headphones and you know, just
stay away from you, lock myself in the office whatever
(33:50):
while you're working. Because I'm in maniac. I just want
to get in there and you know, find find each
moment and bring it and make it fun for the audience.
That's really just all that. That's my goal, just to
entertain the audience or again distract them. If I don't
entertain or if they hate me, Okay, you're distracted. You
forgot about that problem, right, Oh yeah, because I hate
(34:10):
you so much.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Good you know. Right.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
You were mentioned this film that you were working on.
What can you share about that?
Speaker 2 (34:20):
It's called Yale. It's about this. It's a true story
about Yale Parker, this comedian who he tended to it's
actually a book about him to marry women overlapping and
had like eight or ten children. And one of his
daughters has a son who's twelve who needs a I
(34:45):
think a kidney or I think a kidney or he'll die.
So she has to She's been strange from her father
for thirty years and she has to this. Kitlin McGee
played his daughter of wonderful actress and had to she
you know, she went on a road trip with a
father to try to She found her father, reconnected with
him and had to go has to go around, travel
around to all the kids offspring to see who's the
(35:06):
match for her son. So it's a touching story. It's
it's very compelling. It was beautifully written by Van Billings.
I think his name is a wonderful writer. And we
had a good time. Jay Silverman directed again. Rachel Harris
with her and Kevin Donn is just magically so good
(35:27):
and and Caitlin McGee. So it's just it was wonderful.
But again it'll be out next year. I did another
film called Desperate Journey in Europe. We filmed last year
world War two movie, and I played a German woman
who helps hide to Jewish young men and help get
them to safety, send them, you know, where to go
to get out of the country and stuff. So very
(35:48):
powerful film, very very touching Holocaust movie. And that's probably
out next year too. It's called Desperate Journey, and I
did an episode of Swat. I've been I've been doing
the pilot, all kinds of stuff. I mean, it's been fantastic.
I've been super busy and looking forward to more stuff
coming up this summer and everything. So a lot of
(36:09):
stuff going on. I really love being an actress actualol,
I love being an actual I don't know what the
difference is. It's like, let's be gender neutral, fine acting
acting person now. I just you know, it's just so
good because I've been doing this for a long time,
forty plus years, and you know, and you get to work.
To me, it's magic when you get to work with
(36:29):
wonderful actors or when you get to play. To me,
I call it playing and they it's like ping pong,
a really nice game of give and take, and you're
connected and they're really you know, they're really there when
you're they're really present, It's it's magical.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
So it's like, well, in a chat, Kathleen owns the scene.
She's in total professional and dynamic.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Ah, thank you.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
Well, I mean, you know, we love you. So I
want to thank you for your time today so much
for coming on, you know what.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Thank you thank you for having me for great questions.
You know, you asked a question and someone said to
me once there are no short answers. You asked a
good question. I thank you for having me on. You guys,
love you so much anytime. It's such a pleasure. And yeah,
there's some fun stuff coming up.
Speaker 3 (37:22):
So yeah, thank you for coming back. It's so great
to have you.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Thank you, Thank you, Kathleen, thanks for coming on. We
love you. We'll talk to you soon, say by the
Kathleen out there. Thank you, Michael. Love that. Okay, we're
still on. That was fun. We love you. That was fun.
(37:56):
Love you all right, I love it.
Speaker 3 (37:59):
That was the best.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Later maybe I used to we go way back, we
go way we all we had her in person, and we
had her, I mean all a long time ago. So
that's why I'm talking to you, guys, folks. I'm trying
my best to bring you, guys, folks on the show
back like we like we used to.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Frank, I mean, well, who can deny James Jr. I
did this year, Charisma, they're there, folks, size the ABC publicity.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
But up many times I don't know about that doesn't
mean anything here, but thanks to the seventy one people
who are watching maybe so much. She is just she's
the best, and she she always answers the call. I'll
always say that. And I have more coming you guys more.
I don't even tell Frank. I mean I tell it
like the last minute, when I might make sure I
got him. I tell him, Frank, we're one of the funks. Sorry,
(38:47):
it's we're going into our now. It's August next month.
Are actually ten months, ten year anniversary next month. So
I'm told you I got people coming along the way.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
I mean, he is it too early to tell him
that Anthony Gary will be here?
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Oh my god, I wish I say that. I would
that would die if I could have them. Oh my god, folks,
you give me Anthony Geary. I'd I don't know how to.
I know, I speak speak some Dutch. I'm going to
get my cousins in amstead to find him. Go get
them something that James in America, your cousin wants in
America working on that. There, you guys are the interviewing.
We love it. We love it. So that's that's our
(39:20):
that's our girl, all right. So we have the rest
of the stories talking about that's it, no, goodbye. We
have all the stories talk about from the show.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
I mean, should we start off just with the O
Brik related storylines?
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Yeah, yes, I said, we wants to do that. Yeah,
why not?
Speaker 3 (39:36):
I mean, I guess the big one is just you know,
watching the Drew and Willow wedding.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
Just everyone, you guys, you guys out there and I
don't know what you've seen. I'm working on Donelle, don't
worry about They're working on downall you. That's my man
working on him. Everyone'sn't posting everyone's reactions at the wedding
because you have Martin, you have you have Rick. I
(40:00):
mean there's some funny reactions people's. People's like, it's it's
that wedding which we all knew might happen or might not,
because I think we both predicted it would go through.
So Frank and I both the wrong Yeah and a
Frank I was shocked not going through with it.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
I'm like, oh yeah at first when because the way
that they cut, like slow motion of the hand pulling away,
I was like, oh, we're just getting into like a
little fantasy moment. We're gonna cut back to Willow imagining
herself doing this we cut back and then nope, And
I was like, all right, okay, you surprised me.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Me too, me too. I was like, oh, okay, this
is really happening. And again, I mean, I have to
say this, folks, I've never had much use for Willow
the character, and there anything against the actress, you know,
never saying that she didn't any bad. But I'm not
used to the character. I have to say, Homegirls been
acting her ass off the last couple of weeks. I
(40:58):
have to. I have to. I have to hear Willow
done gone crazy and but it's good and the actions
do it. I mean, Keavik Moll is doing a great job.
I will say that, frank.
Speaker 3 (41:11):
And it is weird, like she is sometimes aware off
the deep end, and then the other times that she
is like oblivious that she is still off the deep end. Yes,
like I don't know, I'm fine now, no you're not.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
Girl, ain't fine? And oh my goodness. And I'd give
Karen Matthison credit too, because Jew is so just out
of it. He just thinks he's his ego almost is
just so big. He thinks he can talk his way
into anything. And his reactions to her were priceless too.
(41:48):
He's thinking, well, you know, but and once she said,
oh my god, you were right about my son overheard
you say, He's like, but it's a strategy, you get
your child back. Like he admitted it. We didn't like
lie did. But she's like, she's like you crazy m effort,
like no, it's not good. He's like, I did it
for you. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
And even when we finally get the Germany revealed out,
oh yeah, Like he does not want to spend any
time thinking like talking about like how that was a
crappy move that he did.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
See.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
I don't want to hear to talk about the past, Michael.
You know, I'm here to just make sure we're going forward.
Will look and see your kids here. He just doesn't
want to be like anything that's wrong that he's done.
Let's not think about that. Let's just keep moving forward.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
It's hilarious. I think it's it's it's it's a narcissistic move, right.
It's just kind of like I kind of love that
he's like that. It's like it's it's like almost on
the cyrus level where you just they don't read the room.
They just they just don't care, like just like well,
yeah I did it, and yeah, okay, so I mean
(42:52):
I almost appreciate that he's not trying to gaslight somebody anyway.
He's just like, yeah, I did it, but he feels
like I did it for a good reason, you know,
ageat and Michael's like, you did something against me. I
had we could have worked this whole thing out back then,
and he's like, well, Anne, the sense of time is like,
I don't care about that that I did wrong and
(43:14):
prolonged all this. Well now here we are make it
right now, that's what he's saying.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
Oh man, you know, maybe that's a move. You know,
we should have died, but going forward, there go.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
The result, Like I know I did the past no,
like I just it just makes me laugh because it's
it's you know, if I hate Juliet, have to give
kenra out to see credit. He's playing that character just
like so good. Why that is why you hate him?
I mean, he just I'll get to him. They made
(43:44):
you interesting. At least Drew was not interesting before. At
least they give having him just have this personality. Frank,
I feel like it's better than the way he was before,
where it's just just a guy it's just like.
Speaker 3 (43:55):
Yeah, I mean, because I guess it was always getting
filtered through Jason, right, so like this for better or worse.
You know, he's his own person at this point, so
you know, enjoy him, enjoy him every ready.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
But it's funny she did say the chatty She did
say this when Willow was coming to her senses in
one of her lucid moments, she mentioned Shiloh harmony. Like
you said, it's like, oh, no, she gets it. She
had done, but had Yeah, however, Comma, you know, run
over there, try and see your kids while you're mascared.
(44:34):
Now you look at raccoon and you're like, oh my god.
And she was like, we're still Lizabeth. That was over
the top list like it was like a little much,
and it's like she does kind of get it.
Speaker 3 (44:47):
But then also they get Rick talks to her and says,
we can't do anything about your kids now. We just
have to make sure you're well behaved, a good case
for until October. And then she immediately walks right over
to Michael's and says, like what can we do, Like
come on, come on, Willow.
Speaker 1 (45:03):
I know, Willow, It's like I did everything you asked
I did everything right. It's like, uh, you crazy bitch,
It's time for you to go home and dry up.
That's what I mean. But even let's look back a
little bit. Even before that, you're doing getting ready for
the wedding and doing all the exchanges and stuff. We
(45:24):
know when they had that big fight between Willow and Nina,
and which is which we had last week. We talked
about that last week, and and Nina shows up and
I knew even had to be there, of course. But
when Nina goes off on Drew and again she's she's
(45:44):
taking And when she later talks to to Curtis and
and Portia, she does take the responsibility for her actions.
She's like, you're right, I should have told sooner. I
was dumb. But the thing is, again Drew takes no responsibility. Still,
he still just like overshadows her. But later when she's
talking to Kurt and Curse admits right away he did.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
It true, which you know, as a friend, while it
may not be pleasant, you're gonna be up front and
and say something, and we gotta let's sort it out
the any fallout or negative feelings you may have about
the actions I took.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Right, and she and she understood you're trying to say,
you know, because she likes pors work to get all
the all their plans are falling apart. So he did
what he had to do because I'm sorry, but I
had I had to protect my family and I had
to you know, because now, well you and I laughed
without this last week, we're we're gonna see this week's
and talked to Drew like we're done, right, you know,
(46:42):
I don't figure. I mean, that's it's the dumbest reason,
but I'm glad it came out for the bigger reason.
Speaker 3 (46:48):
Yeah, and you know Nina having done that to Sasha
about her baby, Like Nina knows exactly where Curtis is
coming from. Then she blew up Sasha's life.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
Yeah, so you did so and so I so I
get it. But for the bigger picture, we're glad it's out. Yes,
for that thing, we know that she's not. Drew is
not done, not at all.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
Like Curtis again, say where we've never been so close?
Like as long as long as Drew never finds out,
I'm the one who said it. Uh. As soon as
you say that, Curtis, then you know it's time to
come clean, because there's only so long in this time
that a secret lies. And it didn't even last the episode.
Speaker 1 (47:35):
It didn't even it was already out. Ah And is
it me Frank pushing doctor Gannon and Porstion together?
Speaker 3 (47:49):
Oh, I mean yes, I mean we may. We'll just
continue to have the shut the scenes happened in the
co ed shower.
Speaker 1 (47:58):
Yeah, it's so obvious, so obvious. It's like, wow. I
was like, let's lay that on a little thick, like
just make out already. Ship, I'm not going. I mean,
it's like it's it's coming. Oh I Curtsey won't be
I mean so pissed. His explode and I don't know
(48:19):
where else. I don't where else you can go because
if she cheats on him or he just kisses Homeboy
and Curtis finds out, he literally is going to explode.
And it's funny. His one scene is one scene with Trina.
It's like and she and try to talk to her,
try to prop up Kai but we started on that one.
(48:40):
But he's like, yeah, you have that stubborn She wanted
I get that fromhim? Said, yeah, I wont where I get
that from? He goes, Okay, I admire that. I mean, like,
I'm want Trina side first on that one, because Kai
still as insn't many apologies or nothing. He's like, you
did you have to do? He's still on juice side.
Speaker 3 (48:57):
Well, I mean he said that he's sorry that he
didn't train it first or talk to training first, but
he's not sorry about, you know, speaking of forvent a
person of being wrongly accused. Come on, James, Frank, you
better not ever, ever ever cross me. I don't care
(49:19):
you keep your lips tight. You know something about me.
Speaker 1 (49:24):
Snitches the face, I'll stab you in the face. Ship
Now you know you're not. We're not across me at all.
You already figured out it was Curtis at all was yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:37):
You're gonna frame Kevin undergirl, what's the latest thing?
Speaker 1 (49:44):
The regular carpenter, the regular every day everything, every day maker?
Speaker 3 (49:48):
Is that it?
Speaker 1 (49:50):
It's something he's place pushing right now.
Speaker 3 (49:53):
I saw that thing where he's like, I'm at homie
depot because I'm just doing get this all right?
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Yes, try it.
Speaker 3 (50:00):
Yeah. I did not finish watching it.
Speaker 1 (50:01):
I was like, oh did I Martin was dumb telling
you about still like keeping helping keep with the insurance.
I know that's another story too. But but back to
this story. I love that, you know, a game with
Kathy Gotty, her funny stuff with uh with Drew, her
funny stuff with talking about him to Jason when he
first walked into the bar. All this stuff was hilarious.
(50:23):
That was stuff was really funny. She got to see
it all fall apart. All that's ary Alexis grab scout
and ran out. They ran there, I go, there, I go.
They prayed her out and they got rid of her.
It got back. But that's I just I just think
I was pleasantly surprised, pleasantly surprised that they did go
(50:49):
through the wedding, So there is a there is fallout.
So now, Frank, a question to you is, do you
think they're Dad'sville, this couple, or do you think they'll
find their way back? Because of her pattern?
Speaker 3 (51:11):
I think if that happens, it doesn't whoa, Well, it
doesn't happen until after October and things get solidified with
the court where she could have, you know, whether maybe
joint custody of the kids, that she's able to convince
the court that she's you know, on her own and
(51:31):
stable and all that stuff. And then they could come back.
I mean unless Drew and will find themselves who had
a self destructive pattern and they end up doing something
just right before the October thing, and then they had
blow them their chances again for willing to get custody.
But we it's tough because we also have now that
(51:54):
we know that the decision was rigged right, So if
that comes the light, than that totally who knows throws
up the whole question of this whole custody you think,
but still likes even with that coming to light, Michael
didn't do it. I mean, he had nothing to do
with that at all. So it shouldn't it shouldn't blow
(52:15):
back on him. If anything, it should blow back more
on Drew and Willow. Since Drew had a working relationship
with we, Sidwell.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
All just needs to go to Sidwell or Bry bribe
the custody judge. So Andrew and Sidwell associates kind of
in a weird way for his measure c against Sonny.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
I mean, he just build this week where he or
was it last week when he met with them to
city because of Marco had he had to pull back
his financial support he did?
Speaker 1 (52:44):
Is that? But also I kind of well, this all
that leads kind of into I'm trying to I'm talking
to a good segue because it's because the other thing
is the whole. The other big thing is the whole
will Sonny mess and how now we're seeing other people
(53:05):
talk about it, and one of the things that we
have is Lucas. Everybody on social media talking about this
whole thing. Lucas is obviously digmatized completely as we call it,
and Abuz because I gave it to him. Now now
he just he's doing anything. But it's funny because they
brought Felicia, so I thought it was kind of cool, yes,
(53:27):
and they had them talking about Bobby. I was okay,
writer sometimes sometimes they pull it out, and I thought
that all made sense. He's a Jones, part of the family.
It's all made sense. And I'm glad that they and
that Felicia actually tried to talk some sense in to him.
But he is just hell bent because and Marco, well
(53:53):
he has my dear Marco. At the end, we find
out last Week's a week two weeks ago sides up
with his father. Wait till Lucas finds that out. That's
really interesting because then Carli will be right yeah, so
we always see where it's going. But I you know,
I don't mind Luca's moving out now, but flee She'
good mov. You're a grown man, you're a doctor at
your own place. But I don't I don't know if
(54:15):
I like Carly and him fighting.
Speaker 3 (54:17):
The other thing too, is it's yes, it's sunny, but
for especially with Bobby's concerned Luke. Luke was a guy
that did a lot of shady stuff, right, but uh,
you know, maybe not to the extent of what Sonny was,
but certainly you know he he would color all over
the place. That's all those lines.
Speaker 1 (54:38):
Bobby, even Bobby took her, folks. That's how she started.
She worked for Aunt Ruby. The whole thing that when
she was she was a bag. She came to poor
Charles to help her brother. She brought Luke later. She
came first to break up Scotty and don't how the
batter went either way. She was here to break up
Scotty and Laura. That was the whole point, and even fight.
(55:00):
She was a bad girl for years, dated mobsters and
the old roy de Luca and all that, so we
can't you know it got involved with the cast and
irons like Bobby wasn't a saint either. So I don't
know what Lucas knows or doesn't know about the past,
but it's like you didn't calm down, folks, your your family.
Lucas seems to have one of those complexes of being
the super good guy. It's a pattern, right, Brad gives
(55:25):
these guys who aren't thinking. He didn't get with market
Marcus that's his real name. Uh, they didn't get with
oh my god, what's his name? Oh my god? It
was a good guy, Brad, the bad guy. Now you're
getting with Marco, who could be on the cusp. Right,
So when you come from a family, your whole family,
(55:47):
Tony was not a good guy either for a while either, folks.
That's how Carly and I think it's like everybody has
a shady pass. Lucas, he's a little judgmental, I.
Speaker 3 (55:55):
Think for sure. Yeah, you know, nobody can play any
video of Tony just shaving down his head and going
bunkers for a while.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
I remember that. But yes, like your family all has
history that you're good. How you brought Luke to like you?
He likes to Uncle Luke and you're named after him.
It's like it's everybody has something going on in that family,
so it's kind of but I mean, I I've been
liking the Carly and Lucas finally being brother and sister.
I'm finally showing it. I've been really enjoying that. Actually,
(56:29):
it's been kind of kind of nice.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
Yeah, but it's like it seems weird to me that
Lucas is so oblivious, Like for him just to say, oh,
I just want the sunny because you know, to go
along to get along, I was like, okay, sure, but
you know, living growing up as a Jones slash Spencer,
Bobby Luke, all these people, you know what it's like
to have people in your life that do things that
(56:52):
you would necessarily agree with and your kind of moral spectrum.
Speaker 1 (56:57):
Right, and Julian Jerome was your father, you all them,
You're close to aunt Eva. Plus you also have the Scorpios.
You're part of that family too. I mean, like Maxis
are because all kind of shady stuff, Like it's like,
why are you so uptightly judgmental? Yeah, they're playing it
that mean the writers wrote that. Obviously I get the answer,
but it's like for us watching going okay, Lucas is
(57:20):
the little team too much.
Speaker 3 (57:23):
And when it gets revealed to the extent that Marco
if he starts getting really doing questionable things with Sidwell
with his bops, when that comes out like, yeah, Lucas
is gonna and it seems weird to have that kind
of revelation in life, especially given the family that you
were brought up in. Right, So I will be curious
(57:44):
to see how the writers kind of sell this.
Speaker 1 (57:46):
Right like Mark, like Mina said, Marco wanna take down
studying doesn't make him bad? I agree if what goes
about in a legal political way, that's fine. But what
if he doesn't. Marlin are saying, well, he makes that
one choice as not legal or political. I'm not legal,
it's illegal. Get back at him because his dad is
it walks the line it is, is Lucas gonna be
(58:09):
that judgmental towards him? True?
Speaker 3 (58:12):
What we we saw doing with Brad Uh, Yeah, I
would you tell your father like, hey, whatever it takes,
we'll get this guy out. Basically, you're saying you're up
doing some questionable exactly that door yeah.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
B in check goes. Yeah, Lucas playing naives all of
a sudden, it's strange. I know, it's like I don't
I figure, like all the Spencers know their family history.
I thought for the most part and kind of know
what everything is.
Speaker 3 (58:36):
Yeah, Bobby's not gonna be shying away from that.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
She never did. She took care of herself. She made herself.
So it's so it's kind of like, yeah, wait, yeah,
wait till LCAs finds someone was taken down. Yeah, that's
what I'm saying. It's gonna he's gonna do something that's
obviously gonna be a little underhanded. No matter how big
or small it is. Lucas is gonna be judgemental. So
we got Lucy. We got Lucas. He comes from the
Jostly school of judgement, so she's judgmental too. I grew
(59:02):
up in it. So it's kind of like, yeah, you
still consider Christine them kind of like your sisters and everything,
but like you're so judgmental about Sonny. It's like it's
the writers. They're trying to get us to hate Sonny. No,
we all know that Sonny was like the monster with
a heart of gold. That's kind of the whole thing.
And Felicia basically brought that up. He said he has
(59:23):
done some good stuff, and no, whatever he doesn't deside
isn't the greatest. But it's kind of like, yeah, Ava
will be please take down Avery's father. They're Lucas and
Amy have their own ration too, So I just think
I just think it's he's going down that road of
being super extra about it like Johnson has been. It's
like Johnson still a little to act. She's calmed down
(59:44):
a bit, but she's still a little extra about it.
It's like, and you know, he said, you can't fight
Carly on this. She's not going back down. She's not.
Speaker 3 (59:54):
No, no, they heard Sunny been through too much.
Speaker 1 (59:57):
I mean she's not.
Speaker 3 (59:58):
She's up front. She said she knows Sonny is not,
you know, the perfect man. But it comes to his
family there. They're their aspects to Sundy that she does
appreciate and but while acknowledging the questionable stuff that he
does as well.
Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
And you said, Domaker choose, yeah, Demoker jews out Lucas,
you would lose out and so you gotta be careful,
don't you know, though, don't ask, but don't you know,
ask certain questions don't want answered. But I appreciated that
they brought Felicia and on. They were talking and and stuff,
(01:00:32):
and I just kind of thought, but I'm really curiously
how this storyline really plays out, because now the tires
out the way her no more, it's just Marco and
his father and that's what. And now I'm curiously where
that goes. And on the other side, poor Alexis, she's
trying to get her grandchild together and her daughters are
(01:00:53):
all off the rails and what's going on and then
letting them and Sonny's off the rails because she works
as my why'd you take down? Why it's all this?
I just it's it's hilarious, homegirl. I'm not shured that
a heart attack.
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
Yeah, it's like, Sonny, that was my employee. We were
missing billbil hours. You didn't just you know, affect the
family affected my business.
Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
Right right. He was like, what are you talking about?
I love Sonny. He's just like and of course they
have to have the kind of goofy assistant. But I
did chuckle. I did chuckle. Wh He was like, I
hate carrot cake. First, I think carrot cake is the
worst invention on Earth. That's that's just me.
Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
Well for me, if you have raisins in it.
Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
I hate it. But if it's raisin free, I grew
up with carrot raisin salad, I thought I want to
throw up right now. Just no, thank you. But the
point is they have this whole thing with right they
can't stand study and they need his help exactly. So
we have so this this chick, I've got her name already,
who are doing, hey Scott jobs working it out? She
(01:02:00):
seems like she's like, not the greatest assistance. I understand
that part, but it's it's it's intrupe to do all
the time. But her kind of flirting with sunny flirt
worth her maybe did like maybe laugh only sure because
I'm just so sweet and she's like, okay, Alex's like
it's enough. Thanks Susan.
Speaker 3 (01:02:16):
I wanted one slice to thanks for asking.
Speaker 1 (01:02:19):
That was funny Like that okay that anybody's laughed about
that too? That was kind of I don't mind these
little bits of humor that is at Suzanne's name, Thank you,
I couldn't even name. That's what everybody loves that episode.
I said, no, that was funny. Sure sugared his coffee
because he's so sweet. Ha ha, that's what it was.
You hear his coffee, and I just thought, I just
thought that's the part of Sonny that I kind of
(01:02:41):
missed a little bit. He's flashed the dimples and whatever.
That's that's what he does. And him and they called sexist.
I guess that's there the couple name. They're so good together.
And he said, I'll let you go off on me here,
like I let you go off on me because you
needed to. They're so oh my counts so funny together
and Alexis they're real for each other' real together too,
(01:03:03):
but it's just so funny.
Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
And it is like it is like with everybody in
this whole mark On thing. It's like they're all coming
after him, and it's like he's like, hey, simple did
all this stuff? Like, oh, but so you kidnapped Marco though, right,
It's like, you know, she was just hanging out and
win the marre. Nobody's bothering him.
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
And then and then of course, but I sudd he's hilarious,
and then he shows up to the you know, we
got Marco and Christina talking finally, I was like, and
that's why they haven't talked since the whole thing. Yeah,
so I forgot about that. So I was like, Okay,
that's kind of cool. So she thanks him for saving
her and all that, and.
Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
And we get a little memory of the Metro court
pool of splash. Yeah they why did they just rerun
that footage in honor of that?
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
God? I love watching it. It was good. I'll watch
it twenty times. That's fine me. And he didn't disclose.
He's like, I'm fine, good. He just disclosed he's gonna
be doing anything to her father, smart to himself. So
there's stuff going on there with that. So I I
(01:04:08):
you know, and Dante should be talking to him. You
go over there, should be doing this. I love it.
I look, Dante's just like all these people are just
doing stuff. Everybody's life is doing something. I feel like
I call him put upon Dante something is like just like.
Speaker 3 (01:04:25):
And just sitting there at that Metro Corp pool, just
looking around at all his shady members of his face.
Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
If you if you look at those episodes, he's always
in the camera line. He's looking around. He looking around.
He was looking at Christine like you what was right?
He was totally in the background. It's kind of like,
you know, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
Like what It's like, It's one of those internet videos
where it's the people cut them in soulves like, hey,
I'm standing in front of a grocery market and I'm
looking at all the weird you know, one of those
videos where it's like where we gonna look you see
weird stuff?
Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Yes, And it was him. He was seriously, he was
like he was looking at what's his name, Dalton. He's
like back in the back, just like in the background.
I was like, that's why Dante's looking at her. He
sees anything going on, you know. But I love what
he had him talk to Danny. Yeah, what I just said,
you couldn't see Danny and then and then they would
get together, and how I forgot That's right, he was done.
(01:05:21):
Danny was there and he talked about that. He just
gave Hill. He was also he's a happy tail. He's
like he likes that whole They talked about Samantha. They
talked about her and now this is how she was.
I thought that was a very a move story forward.
It brought them together for a good reason. There's still
like a family and we had to remember this about Sam.
I thought that was a great team.
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
Yeah, you know there, Yeah, I certainly don't miss Sam
so uh it was you know, nice sister, remember, But
it's like, yeah, you know what, I think. I like
Sam wore in this role the show, just as a
blove figure we could happily remind us about.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
And I know you would never being a Sam fan,
but the fint I'm just I just got to mention
her because that is his mother, and I'm glad they
do mention her. But he was excited, he was happy,
he was happy to get in there and do that. Hi,
eighty one people watching us, thank you. We really appreciate
eighty one people. Wow, be for an hour. You think
Nathan should have been the mystery part, and that's fine. We
haven't got to we haven't got to that yet. We
(01:06:18):
haven't got to that storyline yet. Oh my god. They
said they should let Mo go gray and some of
that horrible shoe poles. I have noticed most hair has
been a little darker these days.
Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
It's a shame because there was that point in the
Nixon Fall storyline where they were really creeping towards that
that that silver fox look, and then they pulled it back.
They did, and I was bud, like, let's just let
him do it, guys.
Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Okay, So.
Speaker 3 (01:06:47):
You let Rick, you let Rick do its?
Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
God, So where should we go from there? So I
think the next segue would be into I guess the
WSB storyline I hate so much, like say that, I
just Frank let me Frank with you, Frank lay on me.
(01:07:14):
I've seen this online and maybe maybe that would work.
I guess I almost wish Emma was WSB agent for
some reason. That is it a joss I'm just not
buying it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:32):
History wise, yes, I mean, it would make more sense
if she were even even doing what Josh moves that
the being like I hit like Anna didn't know about
it at first, she did it on her own things
because her mom was a WSB agent. Because I'm sure
if Emma went to Anna and asked about being a
ws agent and it would probably talk her out of it,
(01:07:53):
give it her history with the organization.
Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
I just I don't know. I mean the storyline to
me because now they've we're heading to that storyline, folks.
They're tying into Brett up Bread. Okay, that's interesting, kind
of they're tying that into Dalton Brettin. But now the
just saying Dawnton the target anymore. We're done with him.
So are we done with him right now? Like? What's
he's barely on anyway. So it's kind of I feel
(01:08:18):
like it never really got started.
Speaker 3 (01:08:20):
For sure. I was expecting much more and we're already,
you know, two thirds of the way through the summer,
and we've hardly seen the high or hair of him. No,
they never got into this lab, the lab that he
had at gh. We never once got a chance to
see inside that.
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
No, but see you don't they do in Frank, they're
setting Jostin over there because remember Rid saved Johnson's life.
Jo gonna see Brett.
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
Uh, and then Jason will see them, and they'll see
Jason and Jason. So which is that Carli made hear
about that? Jesson's a WSB agent now, so.
Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
It's a word thing with homeboy. But see, I'm trying
to forget where does Dante fit in, uh.
Speaker 3 (01:09:11):
Helping out Anna?
Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
But she's not really going so Anna, Okay, that's good, Okay,
So let's let's talk about this. So Jason and are
going to each other. Jason went to her and was like,
here's a deal, and they're talking about it obviously and
they agree. I mean, oh, break knows nothing. So we
see like, like Kathy said, they have scenes coming out
of Oh Break there, so I'm here. I'm clear it's
(01:09:35):
about that probably here's the thing. Dante has been giving
her a little bit information kind of, But I'm like,
is he really in? I mean, is he in the storyline?
I can't remember. I mean, it's like he's on his
own trying to see, like what's going on with Jocelyn.
It seems like I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
I mean, I feel like because it's not an official investigation,
so he's kind of adjacent. He's I think he's more
helping out on the a Dalton Emma front, then more
necessarily the Britta the BRIT's side of it.
Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
It's all gonna come together because obviously the Rocco storyline
that falls into it too, So we're getting an umbrella story.
I mean, we're getting it's coming slowly together on some list.
I always say it's tying together, so to speak, because
then if he sees Bret and the whole thing Lulu Rock,
it's a whole. That's the whole thing there. Yeah, And
(01:10:28):
I was just kind of going, yeah, Dante's He's in
this so to speak kind of, But I'm just like
I'm just forgot what his what, how, how he's gonna
play it. I feel like I feel like, well, I
guess we'll go into it. It's whole five poppies, whatever
that means. I want a T shirt or mug. So yes,
(01:10:51):
and well, Josh is what I'm saying. He looks at
Josh like a little sister. Still, they are part of
some of the big blended family. They've established that part.
I'm I'm just trying to figure out and all of this.
I feel like Josh, of course, is going and she'll
write to Brett. I think she's really part of that.
Emma is going to continue to put her nose in
something's gonna happen here where Anna has to handle that.
(01:11:16):
And Dante Yeh's wsbtwo they mentioned that several times. Right,
he mentioned that I'm trying to I just I don't.
I'm just trying to forigure out what his role it's
going to be fully in it.
Speaker 3 (01:11:24):
I mean I feel like he will be. I mean,
it seems only a supporting person in the story. Well,
he's gonna have really any main mistakes in this other
than just you know, wanting to help Anna Emma and
then helping Joscelyn as well too, but I feel like
he could be supporting guys, so I could see his
(01:11:47):
involvement diminishing as the story goes on, or if they want.
I mean, I'm always down for you know, more dumb
and if it more Dante, and if at some point
it ends up being that he and Jason have to
team up to do something, maybe that it goes that way,
I'd be down for that. What I you know, what
I did like in this week though, was how many
(01:12:07):
times have we seen Anna go to Jason where it's,
uh like Anna needs this and it needs that and
it needs this to happen. Uh, And Jason's always like, Okay,
all right, I'll do this. I'll do this for you.
And then what Jason comes with this like could you
help me? You know, like my britt, I don't think
(01:12:28):
I'm going to do that for you, Jason, Like what
come on? How many times have you just come to
him said, you know, Balanine, we gotta do this, we
gotta do that, and Jason's gone along, That's true. Get
out of here, Anna, get out of here.
Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
That's true. That's preety funny. Again, I feel like you're
trying I feel like you're trying to position repositionary body
like literally on a shut up because now now that
BRIT's came back and there into the story and there's
higher ups obviously who are they?
Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
He he?
Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
Who is there's that two so obviously so now they're
giving us as a bigger person running this. So I'm
just I agree with that and helped Jason no matter
what I know. But the thing is they will, they'll
work it out. Gill probably get hurt somehow, I agree
(01:13:30):
because now we've got Geo probably helping. It's not my
help out.
Speaker 3 (01:13:35):
Stooping in at his office and stuff. Yeah uh yeah,
So you know, maybe this is an opportunity some roads
back to Dante and Geo maybe see or he Geo
gets himself, you know, pitched by the law down there's
the one that has to go arrest him. And he's like, well,
so much for you know, now I have to arrest
(01:13:56):
my own, my own son that I just learned ahead.
Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
That could be it also, right, they loved yourself like.
Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
That, Yeah, just make it as always. James likes to
just make it more and more worse.
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
They love doing that. They love they they love to
do that and then it'll be a full circle moment.
But you haven't try to get Senny and all all
that kind of stuff. And they got because right now
they're civil at the moment, they're not talking Geo and
Dot sivil. They say, you saw they kind of not
each other. That's it. So maybe that's why doctors may
pull him to the GEO. That's possible, too possible to you,
(01:14:33):
Like you said, he's here, like he's here in poor Charles.
So it's like him and Anna will be handling all that,
but Jason and they're gonna go overseas and deal with
all that. Yeah, it's like the positioning people. And that's
I think that that's that's the thing. They're they're they're
they're lining him up and say, okay, you're you're here,
you're in the storyline. You're in the storyline. And then
(01:14:56):
of course you have Carly in her relationship with homeboy Jack,
and that's gonna be affected you, right, true.
Speaker 3 (01:15:03):
And I mean that he was bummed up to contract,
I mean makes me okay, all right, he's gonna he's
gonna be more involved, so all right, let's do it.
Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
It just seems like to me, so I'm like Okay,
I mean so that some things are going there, and.
Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
Yeah, but again they need if they want me to
care about Carly and Jack, I need more seeds with
Carly and Jack because there's so few of them that
it's tough for me to really buy into the chemistry
between them still, Like I'm fine with him in his
WSB role, but he's you know, breaking down stuff with
you know, Johnson and Vaughn. Great, but it's tough for
(01:15:50):
me to get as invested in the Carly and Jack
stuff because there's just not enough seeds. So give me
more of that if you want me. I didn't really care.
But what's gonna happen with this couple once the secret
comes out?
Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
I agree? I think I needmore, but think it's been
large cast you had all the time dropped.
Speaker 3 (01:16:11):
Yeah, but if you're gonna up that out of contract,
then it's like, well then clearly you want so like
you want him around. So yeah, they give me some seeds,
So so I care about when I do see him.
Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
I get it. I agree with you. I'm just trying
to say, I don't know what that I mean, Well,
I can you call it Frank James, He's who I am.
But I mean, I don't can call him up and
he doesn't what I am? But no, I just I didn't.
(01:16:44):
I'm because for all the things they do right, they missed.
They missed the mark. Sometimes it's up to you.
Speaker 3 (01:16:52):
But do you think they go back to Frank for
a second there? Do you think he's calling them directly
or is he having like an assistant reach out and
set up to chat with him? I got to know, Frank,
just call somebody, d cold call somebody on his cell phone?
Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
Does he calls him? All right? He does? He's The
thing about Frank is he is very hands on when
it comes to the cast. So he does he makes
the phone calls. And also my friend Mark Teshner, it
was his birthday yesterday. I'll give a big shout out
to him. He's the casting director. He's won ten thousand
(01:17:25):
he's for his casting directing. And I talked him briefly yesterday.
I'm actually working on doing the interview with him. Against
in years we've stayed in touch. But I want to
mention it because why I want to talk to is
because the ten year anniversary is coming up being Frank
next month. The reason, the reason that I got connected
(01:17:46):
with General Hospital and Frank Valentini and anybody there. It's
because of Mark Teshner. So I will always be grateful
and whenever I sent him a text or call all
these years. Ten years later, he answers, so I want
to give Mark seriously, Frank and I would not be
here literally for two people. Tony Moore, of course, it's
(01:18:08):
that whole thing. But Mark Tester and somebody after said
to me, this girl's interviewing about Mark Tester. Aren't you
starting a GH show? Does she want to? I sure?
I want to talk to him. He gave me his card.
He was so sweet, gave me a cell phone number.
It was like, you anything for your show. That's how
it started.
Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
Uh And for the ten years, folks, Mark is gonna
come on and recast me. Uh so there will be
somebody new, Uh yeah going forward.
Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
It's if we think Frank Moran has done a great job.
We think he's been competent at that at best pedestrian,
but at thin it's time to move on to somebody else.
I think we need a younger model. Yeah that's true.
Speaker 3 (01:18:56):
Somebody that will comfortably do the show shirtless every weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:18:59):
Wek uh, I need the ratings. I need that. Oh,
never get rid of Frank Marianne. That is never gonna happen. Kids, never, never,
ever ever over my dad. Body come back from life
to you, I can die come.
Speaker 3 (01:19:14):
Back because we're in a support guys.
Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
Yes, we love we love it. We like I could
do that.
Speaker 3 (01:19:20):
Speaking of of people coming back to life with Britt,
great to see Britt. Uh, you know, go back to
that heat thinks. It's like, hey, you know, I don't
most wish like go back to the old soap trope
of just like give, give the give whoever this villain is,
whether it's somebody we've seen before or it's a new person,
just give me a name. Yeah, like the Phoenix or
(01:19:40):
you know, the Jaguar or something like that, or just whatever,
you know, the just like it's he come on, well.
Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
Because you know why you don't have nobody in place
for you, that's why you don't know. I know.
Speaker 3 (01:19:55):
But so I give you a cool name because that way,
it's like a a general, gender neutral cool name that
you could cast anybody into at that point, so if
they change their mind instead of saying you're like, hey,
we got a great woman we want to use instead
or this great legacy character from gh. Great, then let's
do it. They can step in and be the Jaguar
(01:20:19):
whoever's gonna be uh? And they even if you wanted
to reveal it to be you know that it was
Jerry Jacks Like that's great. It's like you know, but
he was just you know, calling his alias right now,
it was just the Jaguar, Like, whoa, it was really
Jerry Jacks the whole time.
Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
They're all a spelling name like the jackal Uh coach
Sandra says Frank Pikeman, l Oh, what even happened with that?
We don't even know.
Speaker 3 (01:20:47):
We don't even know what the deal is to that.
Speaker 1 (01:20:51):
We don't know. Yeah, I you know, I I when
I mentioned I go this, there's somebody else. They do
this all the time, and many times it's not that good. No,
So I'm not even excited. I'm just like, Okay, well,
whoever it is, we'll see.
Speaker 3 (01:21:10):
Do you think it's Do you think it's Victor?
Speaker 1 (01:21:13):
That'd be exciting. Oh, he did it to help. He's
in love with Lisel. He did it to help. That'd
be amazing. See that's us talking about storyline. I could
write now, I could write great, some bring on there,
like I said, Jerry Jacks, whoever? Right? But I don't know,
you know, I don't know. I don't, I don't. I
(01:21:34):
don't even faith in that part. I just kind of
annoyed that he mentioned someone else. That is somebody, but like,
it's not just Rit's leading this whole thing. It's like
there's somebody else. I almost it was just her leading it. Yeah,
found the way, somebody helped her. She found a way,
teamed up with Dalton and they're doing all this stuff.
(01:21:55):
So Latasha, we do not mention that name. Damn, we
do not say it out loud. I'm like with be Goldberg,
who never says Trump's name. I will not say that
the guy whose names shall not be mentioned on his channel.
If it's him, I will quit the show.
Speaker 3 (01:22:14):
Uh No, it could be Victor. Eddie's got He's got
Nicholas or I mean Nicholas h who Spencer, it's Stasis
he pulled.
Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
I'll take that.
Speaker 3 (01:22:33):
Eddie needs BRIT's help to revive him successfully.
Speaker 1 (01:22:37):
I'll take that. But see, what was so funny they
mentioned Tom when when Christina her little number on. I
guess Molly's writing a book now again? Okay, So so
so be writing some love scenes of her and Cody.
Of course, you know I noticed it going. Here's the deal. Well,
(01:23:03):
Christina mentioned you're also a cassadye. So when they mentioned
I was like, I didn't miss that a long time
and mess with the girls and how he ever say
that the catsadines but alexis. Yeah, but there are cast
Iron so that would be a good segue into a
Victor or Spencer Helena. We know she's gone or somebody
(01:23:24):
cats and Ie asked, come in. I mean that I
always down for a cast.
Speaker 3 (01:23:28):
Iron Yeah, you know, and until Cuttson's Towers actually passes away,
I'm always going to be open to the fact that
Helena is still alive out there somewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
Right. Uh, you know my Molly's writing fan fixed. Yeah,
she remembers she has two books to he She told Cody,
I think her and Cody and Cue together, I ain't
they art, I ain't the Arque together. They're starting to
write for them. So it's been a slow build. That's fine,
But now they're starting to write for them. I think
it's be fun. Mole's like like Alexa. Alexa is always
(01:24:02):
kind of goofy when she's dating somebody at first. She's
always kind of like going on and whatever. I don't
mind Molly being written that way. I kind of like it.
She's always been kind of those smart one in life,
but like in life's kind of you know, I had
no problem with that. But I'm just I'm afraid they're
going to ruin that to you. Hope they don't.
Speaker 3 (01:24:23):
Well, I think, I mean, I think gh does great
about doing a slow burn initial setup to a couple.
You know, we get sea together, you see like that
nice kind of dynamic between them. But then when they
decided to pull the trigger on being like, yeah, let's
just take this romantic then, and that's when they go
off the rails.
Speaker 1 (01:24:42):
And I hope they don't.
Speaker 3 (01:24:45):
I mean, if you look at like Chasing at Brooklyn,
it was great natural build up, just a nice progression
of that relationship. And then when they decided to take
it romantic, did that get awful?
Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
Oh? I say that again? Yes, I don't know, I
you know, especially was Stavros already. I don't know. I
just I I I guess we'll see. I mean, I
don't know, I guess we'll see it. I'll just kind
of get up just like it's someone else. Okay, yes,
(01:25:17):
let's get him Stavs. That's hilarious. Actually, what else was
what else happened this week?
Speaker 3 (01:25:26):
Uh? I mean yeah, because I mean this isn't I
mean Robert Keller Kelly. All he does is he's a
pilot now, so like.
Speaker 1 (01:25:32):
Bring them in. I thought he retired though acting.
Speaker 3 (01:25:37):
Uh but you know, come on, Jage making it worth
his while. Get him out of the pilot seat into
a hot set, right, I thought.
Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
I did think I heard that. I thought he was retired.
Speaker 3 (01:25:50):
Su uh uh.
Speaker 1 (01:25:55):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:25:56):
What I want to ask is that we do get
a day talent between Curtis and Drew. Uh. But then
of course they have to go back to Drew at
the end, and it's like, oh, no, is that or
I'm just playing the long game? Like what so I
have no idea if this, yeah, that means that the
(01:26:18):
blackmail scheme is over now.
Speaker 1 (01:26:21):
I don't know either. If I said a chat about
the truths earlier, I don't know if it's over or not.
Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
Yeah, I mean you know, I mean Curtis said he
wouldn't be the first one to break it, so uh,
it feels like Drew is gonna do a wait, and
see before handing over the black black militarial But in
this day and age, how could you ever believe that?
And he he makes ten photocopies or takes digital images
of the wall and keeps him somewhere too, Like, how
(01:26:51):
you ever gonna believe that? Like, yeah, trust me Drew
or Curtis. There are no Barler copies of this.
Speaker 1 (01:26:58):
Right, I don't know? I mean, but I'm also I
don't trust you. I don't trust you as far as
I can throw. That's where I'm at with him.
Speaker 3 (01:27:07):
Yeah, I mean, this stuff does does give both of
them more to play than them big you know, best
best friends. But you know, I also feel like the
show never really will wants to commit as well to
into that really big eversarial.
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
Well, because it's not about them, isn't it that that's
the whole thing. They're not really making him. They're more
it seems like they want more mileage out of Porsche
and Drew than they do out of Curtis and Drew. Yeah,
you're right, they were friends first, So it's kind of like,
why aren't we going out? Why why are we going
full teammatehead that direction? Like why why are we he
(01:27:48):
goes after Porscha all the time.
Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
Well, and I feel like the tough part is too
like And I don't know if you feel this way,
but for me, it's at the fact that, much like
with Willow, Drew is unwilling to really self examine his
choices and own them. So anytime Curtis brings up all
the stuff, the reason is that why he's mad at True,
Drew's always like he doesn't always brushes them off like no,
(01:28:14):
So it's tough to be like for me to be like, well,
if one person's not even really willing to engage in
the reality of the situation, uh, you know, it makes
it tough to be I vested interest in a rivalry.
Speaker 1 (01:28:32):
Let's ain't true in the chat, I know, I just
thought so Curtish didn't trust you. What the truth is?
Everybody agree with that? I don't. I just I don't know.
I just feel like their focus hasn't really been on
them now Michael's back, They simply haven't. They're focusing on
them for the other stuff. But I don't know. I
don't know. I just think I think Curtis it's only
(01:28:54):
in it because he runs Aurora. They're not playing on
the fact they were best friends. Fact they're not paying,
they're not playing that, and I think it's it's it's
a shame that I'm playing that more Again. I go
back to I go back to you. I feel like
they always put him against porsia so much.
Speaker 3 (01:29:11):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:29:11):
I don't think the conscious choice, like he bullies women,
is that it maybe that's what he does because you know,
whether it's Porsche or Nina or anything. But see, now
Drew's not just it's not just stella. You know what
it's gonna happen. It's a black man stella. And that's
when my Curtis head explode again. I'm saying, I don't
(01:29:33):
feel like, get a fight between Curtis and Drew, which
shirts off per verbally uh and short shorts man necessary.
But I don't. I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:29:47):
I don't know because that seems so weird, Like why
would I can understand Martin's sharing that with Drew, but
then Drew to be like they cut to Drew and
he's like, oh, it definitely reads. It's like, oh, this
is material I could use like that that she helped
mart just not have to pay thousands of thousands of
thousands of dollars that he didn't have, right, So like
(01:30:09):
that's a that's a that's the thing that needs to
be weaponized.
Speaker 1 (01:30:15):
Cool Drew, Moji, pretty cool Drew. Well, you know, Drew
has no scruples. He's gonna do it fucking once.
Speaker 3 (01:30:25):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (01:30:26):
That's just that's just that's just him. He's gonna do
every once. He has no scruples anything. So that's gonna be.
I mean, whatever he does next, I would be surprised.
Whatever it is, I would be't be surprised. He's That's
that's where we're at. We're at a point where he
is just like, yeah, I know Stella told Marty hears
bout shut. He couldn't. He couldn't hear his bout shut.
(01:30:49):
But that's just kind of he just he just running
around his mouth. But I was saying, Drew is is unstable.
Drew is a wild card. Anything he does, I wouldn't anybody,
do you go, I would have be surprised. I mean,
no one should feel safe at his point. Yeah, that'd
be no one should feel safe. He's a while, he'll
(01:31:12):
do whatever. I don't care.
Speaker 3 (01:31:15):
Uh, I mean it seems like well, I mean Burton
is paying his bills. So he is friendly towards Ure,
but how farly is he going to be if he
blows up Stella's life? And Martin is so grateful to Stella,
So I'll be curious, like a about Drew.
Speaker 1 (01:31:27):
Why do you keep.
Speaker 3 (01:31:28):
Alienating the people around you?
Speaker 1 (01:31:30):
I know, so that's what I'm saying. I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (01:31:35):
But speaking of Martin, we also do get just a
snippet of him talking to Yuri about Monica in her past.
Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
Yes, and he was very happy. But I guess when
he heard, they got excited. And I thought, okay, I
heard acause slave Zach is coming to the set soon
to film. So I don't know, I like, but he
got excited. We got we got a bunch of Yuri
because we had it, because we had you know, you
(01:32:04):
had to have Tracy have a comment. You lost your
bride already. That's hilarious. He laughed right in his face.
I was like, okay, that's what you get. Not here,
I mean, I'm like, right here, you know, And why
do we have to climb over the fence so that
we left? We got the climb, But yeah, I'm like,
(01:32:26):
the whole thing is and Drew and Willow was not there,
and he went upstairs. Let me go upstairs, let me
figure it out.
Speaker 3 (01:32:31):
Yeah, it was great security at that I can I
can't understand why wanted to leave.
Speaker 1 (01:32:36):
Yeah, but nobody gives a chance for Martin and you're
ready to talk a little bit. So there's something going on,
so I don't I don't know. Again, that's a storyline
coming up to you.
Speaker 3 (01:32:51):
Uh and then well yeah, I mean I guess it
was all Drew, uh having other people just rub it
in his face. So it's where he goes to Elizabeth's
place looking for Willow. Like again, as bad as Willow
is going after the kids, that Drew is just as
bad as going after Willow. Like, hey, everybody, just chill,
(01:33:11):
give everybody a little little space first. Yeah, especially what
Willow tells Michael where it's like, well how much time,
Like it's it's been a day, so definitely more than that, Willow,
before you'd be seeing your kids, like you can't be
Like it's like I was, I was away from room
(01:33:32):
for a day for a night, so let me see
these kids.
Speaker 1 (01:33:40):
Yeah, oh no, it's Drew doesn't have a meltdown like Willow.
Stilla is not Porscha. She will stay on her ground.
I'm glad Willow has fishing drew for good. I wouldn't
say that. Uh on Stella we equipment before we before
(01:34:02):
being blackmail, Michael said, not after the hearing he saw that. Yeah,
I don't. I don't know. It's it's she's acting crazy.
I'm curious to see because it has to come out
that she was taking the baby. Yes, that's the one
thing it's not out. Think about it. So one thing
that's not out in the open.
Speaker 3 (01:34:25):
I would be curious to see if how THETA factors
are with that.
Speaker 1 (01:34:30):
Yeah, I don't. I don't know either, but it's like
right now, that's not out yet.
Speaker 3 (01:34:34):
So uh, I mean, and she's definitely keeping close because
even when Maxie was talking with her, like I'm not saying,
but it just just she might be she Willow might
not be in her own acting in her real best interests.
Speaker 1 (01:34:51):
Yes, you have a recast Maxie for a moment. So
they said temporary weeks. He said it temporary recast. Yeah,
she said in the over thing, it's a temporary casts.
What chick's name is? She was pleasure was competent in
those scenes.
Speaker 3 (01:35:06):
Yeah, uh, well, and we'll be curious to see whatever
it is that takes Maxie off the off of the
canvas for until you know, either the end of the
year or early next year.
Speaker 1 (01:35:19):
I agree, no, no idea what that's gonna look like.
Speaker 3 (01:35:25):
That maybe gives more time for whether it's her at
the kids, it's Fideli going or just her be gone.
And it gives maybe Spindelli some more airtime.
Speaker 1 (01:35:35):
I don't know's he's barely on. He's barely on. Yeah,
we saw him briefly with that with the oll break
thing come weeks ago. But that's he's barely on. So
I guess you got to wait. I guess they can't
write him a story on his own. I guess I
mean they could. I'm saying that the same things. I mean,
there's like other things he could be doing.
Speaker 3 (01:35:57):
Yeah, I mean it could be, you know, collaborating with
they in about a new book.
Speaker 1 (01:36:01):
Right, Remember Anna went to him that one time. So
why isn't Jason Goden what drew wrong? Person? Why isn't
Jason Goden spelling? Go look up what you can about writs?
Speaker 3 (01:36:14):
Yeah, or you know, or this resort? What's what's the
skinny on this? Jason on the phone at the end
of the week with that that lader concierge of the resort. Yeah,
Rich is walking in like, oh all.
Speaker 1 (01:36:34):
Right, I just I you know, already figured it out.
It was willing to talk the baby. I was saying,
it's not out because because Drew also is figuring it
out too, I was saying, it's not out. I'm saying,
that's the last thing needs to come out because Michaels know.
Speaker 3 (01:36:53):
That those people that would want to protect Willow no
know this. Uh nobody on the other side, does max
you castle doing anything for me? Well, again, it's a
I might be putting stock insured. She's a temporary week
cast a body in there, so I guess they probably
have some stuff that was written that Maxie has to
be there for. So might I might even don't I'm
(01:37:15):
gonna I'm gonna even she was competent, she was fine.
I might even I'm not gonna criticize her.
Speaker 1 (01:37:20):
Or I was like, Okay, she's whatever, She's performing a task.
I feel.
Speaker 3 (01:37:28):
Uh. Yeah, we did hear that scene with brook letted
Lulu talking about talking about Obrik being back and all
that's so uh, and I did like that. Laura uh
chatted with Lulu about the Rocco should be allowed to
kind of ask questions.
Speaker 1 (01:37:45):
And went to her first, Laura, and they had a
nice little talk and then she ain't listening. I ain't
listening nobody.
Speaker 3 (01:37:56):
Oh it's just like, come on, Lulu, dial it, kid.
Speaker 1 (01:38:01):
But she is. Lulu is also the over the top
I'm going all and the stuff too, so her Brooklyn
had that piece of a moment. I just I just say,
it's just you said before you said, I agree with you,
and now it's tiring. Let's go back and forth, like
me to you that I got never been half a
(01:38:22):
little bit me too, like I done it too, but
it's kind of it's but it's it's it's a repeat.
Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
Yeah, well and I don't need uh. And Lulu also
kind of re uh contextualizes the history where already just
say like I gave you your sun, Brooklyn, and this
is what you do me Like, okay, easy there, Lulu.
Yeah you uh you just did this really generous benevolent thing.
(01:38:54):
No no, no, you blew up a lot of lives
when you did that too. Yes, exactly, but we won't
talk about that, Lulu.
Speaker 1 (01:39:04):
Exactly.
Speaker 3 (01:39:07):
Yeah, but yeah, I think that I think that's it
this week. You know, stuff like I wish, you know,
again Felicia greater limited stuff, but it's also like, man,
she can do more guys, and it's a large canvas.
But boy, you know, I'd love Felicia to be able
to actually just give any of these these legacy characters
(01:39:28):
just a story of their owners that are always being
day players to other characters stories.
Speaker 1 (01:39:34):
I agree again, I know the problem is a large cast,
but the rotation needs to be a little more. I mean,
I don't I don't know how they can do it.
I mean, I know, I know it's really busy, and
I get it, and Home will explain it all the
show how it's crazy by the scenes. But I that's
the embarrassment of riches. We see so many characters we like,
(01:39:56):
we want to see them featured with certain other characters
and certain thing we want them, you know, like we
want them. That's like when we criticize because saying it
was because we want more of that person or more
of that person or that person that's scene with that person,
like we want you create this whole world. It's almost
like similar to like Star Wars and Marvel and you
(01:40:17):
create this whole big world. There's certain as we want
to see in it, I guess, and people we want
to see in it.
Speaker 3 (01:40:23):
True, I mean you know, I mean, I guess we'd
do it to like the sequel trilogy where Han, Luke,
and Lea had such bit parts in it, like no, no,
I don't care about you know, Ray and Finn and
Poe sure have them, but they can be kind of
supporting characters at least to start with. We really want
(01:40:46):
to see what's going on with Luke, Lea and Jewey
after two those we care about seeing after all this time,
and then use them as a way to help kind
of introduce and bring up the younger roster. And then
eventually yeah, or if you want to said the original
actors often to the sunset great but and then you know,
(01:41:06):
but give us those time with them instead of just
treating it like, oh well we need have fresh blooded here.
Speaker 1 (01:41:16):
Yes, I don't know, it's just it's the show to
me has been decent. I will say it's been decent,
and I'm very curious to see how they do weave
in this brit storyline. Now we know it's Britt, so
at least about that freak that's not in scrits. Who
is she? You know? You know what, I'm liking this
(01:41:37):
to you. My Dallas show. When they brought Bobby back,
it's Bobby. They didn't twin or cousins. He came back.
They were like, let's get back to business and let's
just go forward. I admire this show for that too.
They're saying, this is britt We're gonna find out how
she survived. What's going on? I was just do with
her parking sines obviously has to do with that. They're like, Okay,
(01:42:00):
here we go, let's just go. Let just go straightforward.
Speaker 3 (01:42:05):
Yeah, and I will be curious, like, are we treating
it fantastically where her she's doing this to get a
cure for Huntington's or or are we always just going
to keep that still with her? So that's another reason
she could leave the show at some point in the future.
Speaker 1 (01:42:21):
The well, folks, I just ordered my dinner, my early dinner.
Oh would you order what it's called fix its? Ooh,
so in Hollywood we will be a hot place. And
they actually delivered to me. So I just ordered some
fried chicken, which I shouldn't have, but I'm having it anyway.
Some collared greens and some potato salad.
Speaker 3 (01:42:45):
Ooh nice, it's good, good, folks. I enjoy myself with
good potato salad. So it'll be to love a potato potato.
The corn bread I was coming to.
Speaker 1 (01:43:00):
A cornbora comes with it.
Speaker 3 (01:43:01):
It comes from Oh, thank goodness, I should What has
he been then? A pudding or peach cobbler.
Speaker 1 (01:43:06):
I'm not doing that take because of somebody. I have
some things going on, as you know, health wise, so
I'm like, there's sure things I can't do anymore right now?
Got it? Take it. I'm being bad enough with the
other with the fried chicken which I can half occasionally,
and the and the uh potato salad. I'm being bad
there and the corn bread.
Speaker 3 (01:43:26):
You're such a bad boy.
Speaker 1 (01:43:28):
Yeah, that's why you love me, folks. Way back next week,
I mean everything goes turns out fine. Wait back going
back next week, folks. We're AMMI worthy, thank every nomination worthy.
Thank you. You might see us, I asked, I asked, John,
I've been online about Big Brother.
Speaker 3 (01:43:49):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (01:43:50):
So I already have my veto metal ready, Big Brother.
I'm ready. I'm ready to wear I'm to wear it.
So you might see a strong night. Who knows. I
just asked the question to our friend. We'll see what's
going on. So we'll see what's going on there. But
(01:44:10):
way back next week talking about this, this show and James, I.
Speaker 3 (01:44:14):
Want to say that I'm sorry for your loss that
it just like that is ending.
Speaker 1 (01:44:20):
So folks, some of you guys actually in a chat
early to talk about this because we do a live
show me and e we may Heller on Mondays. These
are the last three episodes of the series. We were
we were gobsmacked, slapped in the face, did not know that.
So we're going to do the last three episodes and
that's it.
Speaker 3 (01:44:39):
And just like that, then you go into your type
of boarding.
Speaker 1 (01:44:46):
It's it's a huge hit show for me too on
my network. It's like, I'm kind of I'll miss the numbers.
Speaker 3 (01:44:52):
Miss well. You can always do a original Sex of
the City rewatch.
Speaker 1 (01:44:57):
We thought of that and then we're like, we gonna
do that. Ah no, but who knows? But who knows?
That's another thing. Who knows? Right? Who knows? I mean,
just stay tuned. We'll see what happens. But we might
we might stretch it out like I usually do and
do a series recap or also who knows, it might
have a few more episodes left in us before we
just say goodbye to it completely. But we are shocked
(01:45:18):
by it's just like this is it. It's kind of weird.
It's like, oh, okay, we went to see what get reviewed.
They're like, oh, this will been We're done. We would
hold on to this for a while as we're done.
Speaker 3 (01:45:28):
Yeah, I mean didn't want in effect, people will looked
at the last season. Just enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (01:45:33):
Just joy It's been a it's been a roller coaster ride. Yes,
but we have fun. Me and Mail are So that's
Monday nights. We won't be on tomorrow night, but we almost.
We have a special video could be out tomorrow. We'll

Speaker 3 (01:45:48):

Speaker 1 (01:45:52):
We'll be wearing carries outfits over the years.
Speaker 3 (01:45:56):

over your face.
Speaker 1 (01:46:00):
