Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, hello and welcome to the g h Men
spotlights here on JLJ Media. I am the JLJ JLJ Media.
I'm James Latchin here. You know, you see two faces
and that you don't, right, and so one of the
faces you see every week with me, and it's my
most successful male relationship I've ever had. That's Frank brand.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yes, this is the way less interesting face to be
sharing a screen with you today.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Absolutely no, Frank, Yes. But we have somebody again. Like
last two weeks ago we had Lucretia, there's only one.
This time we had the woman who came on in
different hair and elphreits and earrings every week on our
show ten years ago, kids, ten years ago. We're happy
(00:52):
to welcome one of the ogs back to the show,
miss lady are.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Oh my god, thank you day, Oh my gosh, I'm
so excited.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, welcome back. We're gonna talk to her, find out
where she is, what she's doing all this stuff, and
she's still a sunny fan. What's about all that?
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Soon I was about to say, you forgot to add
already us. You know, you gotta set it up nicely,
you know what I'm saying. But you know, I'll let
you have that this time.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
So I'm like to say you that before we got started,
please don't forget to add the correction.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
She was fulks. Oh yes, you worries folks, before we
started to do the church announcements. Uh number one. So
today we debuted, or debuted, as my aunt says, the
Beyond the Gates after show this morning at nine am. Uh.
So far as nice success for us. We're so happy
about it. About the new black soap on CBS. We
(01:46):
have it. So Amanda Russ and Kenni Smack are the hosts.
They wrote everything down for you for the week that
wasn't because last week was all reruns. But he talked
about the show in general. Ja said, we have some
exciting stuff coming up, so watch that now. It's on audio,
it's on video, go check it out where we find
your podcast. And after that, we did the Y and
(02:07):
Rmany Spotlight. Add Tammy Govea in there. We did that
show that's out on audio and video too. We're all
kind of tired of the show, but we did the
show anyway. We got through it somehow and it's out there.
But there is no I'm sorry, there is no audio,
the so Jesus said no, there will be no audio
for this one. So we're only on We're only on
video on YouTube, so check it out on YouTube. And
(02:30):
then we just had a very interesting bold in the
Beautiful Meat Spotlight and some of you guys we'll see
and have seen. Uh that is out and how also
audio and video check out where you find your fine podcasts.
Support all of those, yes, support all of us. Had
to call Wiz all those after this might Chocolate Twin,
Tony Moore and his gang. We're talking about Days of
(02:52):
Our Lives, what happened on it happened in Salem. So
that's at three pm on their channel, so check that
out over there and telling that jayas Lei Dean and
Frank Sencha and Uh. This week I'm interviewing Billy Flynn. Yes,
mister Billy Flynn, he was on Days for Our Lives
for one hundred years and now he's playing Aristotle Duma.
(03:13):
That name one they want to say it in my life,
Kane asked me on Young and the Restless. I'm run
him for about nine years. So we have a one
on one chat this week. I'm very excited about that.
And if you haven't heard already. Uh, several General Hospital
actors are going to Young and the Restless. We have
Matt Cohen, who played Griffin Hot Priest that remember she
(03:33):
said that last time the two weeks ago. Little Precia
is joining Tamra Braun, the second Carly is joining, and
Michelle Stavs posted a partition on all of them because
she worked at all of them. So I was kind
of saying, some JH actors are going over to you
why and are what? Scott? What's going on there? Frank?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
You guys and get Roger Howarth.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Oh, yeah, Roger Howarth, it's going over there too. I've
got bout Hilmo's going on him too. He's going too.
They claim it's a new character. We'll see what happens.
I have ideas we have a different character that I
think it's gonna be. But he's too. So they're all
going over there. But I don't tell you its permanently
or is it? Just don't know, Yeah, we don't know.
They don't comment on how long anymore. They don't say
(04:13):
these poll say contract role right now? You don't say
it anymore? Y just go to the show, right They
don't say it anymore. So I just want to say
shout and shout out to uh my, my buddy, uh
Napoleon who plays a cop on g H and background
he gets he gets a couple of lines here in there.
Last couple of weeks, he's been brought back. He's another
ex after Buzzer. Uh So, I was talking to the
(04:36):
other day just saying congraduations and seeing you on screen
by like, we like our background. We're gonna do our
background than that. So very good. Those are your church announcements.
We're here all week. We're here all week. We're here
all we took the waitress. Now we're here all month.
I have nothing coming up, hopefully that's gonna be crazy.
So every Sunday should be here. More guests coming, Franks,
I've been surprising you guys for the last month and
(04:58):
a half people. DESI latest of the we've had a
guest every Sunday for the last I surprised this for him.
So we have three more Sundays to our actual anniversary.
So I got, I got some people come in. So
we're gonna work and we're gonna work it out. So
just follow us, follow us, lady.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
I'm gonna I'm gonna try my best there for the
actual anniversary.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
So folks, for those who don't know who she is,
she is the O g Her and Lucretia and Frank
at Once I hired uh that I interviewed. I was
on Craigslist, and she answered and I and I and
I told her this. She knows this, but I would
tell you, guys. So she sent me something for I
saw some of her work from her college and she
(05:43):
had this piece and I saw this beautiful bald she
was bald, black woman, tall statue esque, right, Frank tall
statue asque, and Wellwood delivered this piece that was so beautiful,
and I was like, oh my god. I got to
her because I told you guys, I talked to each
of the I interviewed like twenty people. I talked to
(06:05):
everyercon in person, had interviews with them before I hired them.
So do you remember any of that, lady and at
all that because we talked to before we talked first?
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yes, I do, because you remember I was first fresh
out of college. They didn't tell us anything about finding
work on craigslist. But you know, I wanted work, but
I didn't know where to search really for what I
was looking for. I knew that I loved media in general,
but I really didn't know which direction I wanted to go.
(06:35):
So I just so happened to go on Craigslist and
then I saw your listing, and like I told you,
I didn't think I was going to get it because
you asked for headshots. I did have that, but the
headshots that I sent you I was bald, but at
the time I wasn't bald. But I was like, I'm
gonna submit it anyway. It also said that you wanted
like a reel or something or I didn't have that,
(06:57):
but I did have something that I did in college.
I said, oh, well, I'll send him this because he
can see me and I'm speaking, so maybe you know
this will be something. And I just submitted just you know,
I said, maybe if I get it, I will be
really excited, but if not, I'll you know, probably be
a little sad too. So when you reach back out
(07:20):
to me, I was, I was really like, oh my god, Okay,
I think this is gonna happen. I think this is
gonna happen. But I said if if I once I submitted,
I said, if if I am able to just get
in the room. I really felt like I really felt
like I could be able to display more of who
(07:40):
I am in person then just talking about the things
that I've done or that I wanted to do with myself.
And from the time we met, we went to a
coffee shop that you recommended. Was it in Englewood? Oh
it was? It was, yeah, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
(08:03):
we met. Yes, we did, and I think it was
that day you said, yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, yeah, my things on my end and East Coaches says,
you're absolutely studdying I. You know, I say this because
I I had forty responses. Forty I can believe it
that were real responses. There are a few bots or whatever,
but there are forty responses that were for real. And
I said, I'm go through all of them and call
(08:29):
people on whatever. And some of the old flake out.
It just kind of happened again flake out. But I
had twenty people that were literally legit that I said
I went to each one I had, I had lunch
or coffee and each one everybody. I did twenty people.
I did twenty people I sat down with in person,
and the Cretia was sick. I didn't know she was sick.
(08:50):
She was sick. She totally held up, but she was
saying she was actually had to go in the bathroom
and throw up a couple of times, and she had
to go. I had no idea, and Frank was great.
I liked, here's the thing. So I was going, I
was coming off of audition days where it's three dudes,
and that's how we started all show, how we noorse
three dudes through your soap opera. Right, So, but you
know it's diverse because when they first started it was black,
(09:13):
Mexican white. But then and then when the Mexican guyland,
but he left, so it's too black and a white.
So but we need somebody, like I've said, I need women,
you need women.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Yeah, that's exactly some opinion opinions, because you don't know,
women are very opinionated.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
But I have to say this, so you funks at home,
you get emails from a Lacretia Lion and from a
Lais Dean Harvey. So I'm thinking for your listeners at
home who can't see me doing this, I'm thinking Lai
(09:52):
Dean Harvey's the White Chick and the Cristian Lions, the
Black Chick. Much of it with the opposite. I mean seriously,
it was like I kept thinking, well, that's just now
I know you can come from Caribbean. That all makes sense.
But at first I'm like looking at names.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
When you told me, I thought it was okay. I
mean I did, I did, and I was like, oh, oh,
trust me, I did too.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
I mean, Frank rand right now or whatever. So it's fine.
And also if Frank I wanted, I did want a
straight male voice on the show. Too bad he's not straight.
Just kidding, I'm just kidding, no, but I want a
straight male voice on the show. Again, I knew that
straight man also did watch soaps, and so I was like,
I wanted to have a really diverse panel. They told
(10:42):
me to find three people, and so you threw are perfect.
I mean like, seriously, I didn't need a lot of people.
There's some people were good too, but you three. I
just I just also, I just knew it. I knew it.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
So did you did you pitch g H two after bus?
Did you tell.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
So I'm here? I mean, it's just so this is
so me.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Because I feel like, no offense to the others, but
I do feel like gh should have already been there.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Of course, well, see, here's the thing. So Tony pushed
edition days three days are days of our lives. So
he did that one and that's why I asked, is there.
I wasn't even there full yet. I was like, is
there a GH show or any other shows? They go,
They said no, and they go, we did a why
in our show years ago? So I checked it out.
(11:33):
Ho Abo open show is watching you right now? It
was something else the setup. That's my name grandma? Who
would call in? I don't know. It was a car.
It was crazy the way he did it, but only
lasted like maybe eleven or twelve episodes. They just stopped it.
I'm thinking, no, this is great. So when they told me, well, James,
you want to show put it together? That's a Rotzie
(11:55):
Stryer said, And the years later she goes, James, now
that I know you, it makes sense. But I was
told that all the time. They wouldn't do it. But
you know, I'm a go getter, as you guys know.
At this point, they had no idea how I was
like my show together. I had a radio show all
the time whence you both were on, remember you guys
came to my radio station. So I had that, But
(12:15):
radio is different. I mean, that's a whole different animal.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
I love radio.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
We had a good time you came. I had a
good time on the solf on this.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Have done a lot, You've done a lot, a lot.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Yeah, I'm tired. Yeah, but no. So when he said that,
they kind of said it with a tongue in their cheek, like, yeah,
just put it together or whatever. Well I put together
and they were like, oh, and I knew there were
I remember it was at the house, but we didn't.
You guys didn't go there yet. You guys can go
to the house at all. Did you didn't go there either.
They made you go to the student and they said,
(12:52):
we're going to do a new studio. Remember I cast
you guys like an April or something, and we had
to wait like September, right, so yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
It was like August for like a mock show.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yeah, so we did that at the new studio, right,
That's what we did. It was it there. We did
a test show at the new studio and they liked it,
but it made it to another one to go. Well,
he used to do one more, but he liked it.
But they weren't even watching the second one and we
just did it and it was fine. But I knew it.
We sat down together and got together. We took those
first pictures. We always probably those first pictures. I knew it.
(13:23):
We're the team. We're the team. That's it. Frank, what
are some of your little man? Are your memories of
early memories of lady?
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Uh? How ever she was uh just you know, of course,
just the chemistry right there. Yes, and we.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Linked like this immediately, just like I feel like James
and La Crest to you.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Guys, we did we did no well. First of all,
placement was very important. Uh visually we like the white
folks on this side. Number one thing. I told you
that that was a big thing. I was like, why
don't want be like black versus whitter or men versus women.
I didn't want to do any of that. Yeah, yeah,
(14:12):
that's how it got split up. So yeah, that's how
it works. But the fans started warming up to you guys.
You and Frank over there in the corner, have your
little moments, buddy.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
We bounced off each other all the time, all the time.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
What unlikely? Yes, Frank.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
So we do this for a year and then I
know that you had to make the unfortunate choice that
you had some stuff in your personal life to leave.
How hard was it to leave the show?
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Very very difficult because this was what I considered my
first baby, the first the very first gig that I've
gotten right out of college. And sometimes that's not hard
to do, even just that get something like right after college.
But I can't touch on everything. It's really like still
(15:14):
sometimes when I think back, it still kind of chokes
me up a little bit. But I really had to
make the best decision for myself, and it was really tough.
It was really really tough because I at that time
was putting, you know, things before my life and what
other people wanted and their career, and then now here
(15:35):
it is where I have to give up the beginning
of what I thought was gonna be an amazing start
to my life. And you know what, I went to
school for media and all that. Having to like kind
of put it to rest was a little difficult for me.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
I know some of the detail. I'm the thing that
I remember because I talked have talks. Yes I was,
I told her, I don't say it's on camera. I
was always behind all three of them a thousand percent.
I always wanted to herd the creature and frame do
all again, take everything yet, just take every in And
I know that for a fact, you really wanted to
be here in California doing this because you're doing like babysitting,
(16:11):
you were doing all kinds of stuff and supporting.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
I was doing everything to leave my schedule open for
the life that I wanted to create for myself. So
whatever that meant, I was doing it. Lift, driving, private nanny,
private tutor, I was doing hair, I was I was
doing whatever I needed to do.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
To us. Remember you wanted to be here, and I
remember you really wanted to be you were. You were
trying to work it out. I admire that, I mean,
because you know, we all know how this is coming
to la. It's not easy trying to make it.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
It has only gotten harder as.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
The Yes, that door closing, it felt like the end
of the world. But honestly, I that door, not you know,
with you guys, just life in general. Unfortunately this was
a part of it for all of that needed to
close as also a part of my growth as a
woman too, or growing into a woman and making you know,
(17:10):
decisions for myself and being okay with that because you know,
sometimes you think everything is just like not in your favor,
but you just sometimes I'm learning now in my thirties
that you have to go through life. When I left you, guys,
I was twenty five, a baby, thirty three next this
week coming so baby, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Yes, That's why I was always forget how young you were.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
You were you know, I wasn't twenty five.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I was like, you're twenty four. You're twenty four.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Yeah, okay. I was like, so it's been almost ten
years now, so.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah, we're old man now. But no, but yeah, but Frank,
it's better than I do. But we're all man. We're
all man.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
We all still look good. If you ask me, we
all still look good. You do look good, baby.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
So you know, leading just following you, like on Facebook
and stuff. You I know you've been back in Florida,
but you also have come back out to California a
little bit as well too. Yes, I spent are you
back in Florida?
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Yeah? So I spent three years home and then I
went back to California. I felt like going back to
California was like a like, you know, redefining who I
am and just regoing back after like picking up where
I left off. So I went back to California, California
from twenty nineteen and then I left September of last year.
(18:42):
So I did another five years in California, and then
I felt like I did everything that I wanted to do.
I was a part of many projects, stage management, behind
the scenes, TV production. I I was very proud of
(19:04):
the second round that I gave myself. It was a
little scary at first going back, you know, after being
away for a while, but I felt fulfilled leaving again.
This time. When I left, it was on my own accord,
not because anything has happened. When that writers strike happened
in LA where everything was shut down. You know, these
(19:25):
these production companies, they pay well, but there's no benefits,
Like there's nothing to really fall back on. So when
that year happened and there was like no filming, no
word for a whole year, I had to rethink my
entire life as a woman going into her thirties. So
(19:45):
that's when I decided that, you know what, I'm just
going to go home and go with my plan B.
So now I do work for the Sheriff's Department here
in Florida, and I'm really happy about it. I do
feel like my life is a little bit more secure.
But I'm also still doing industry work, which I thought
wasn't here in Florida because I was running from it.
But it's still here. So now I'm having the best
(20:07):
of both worlds. So I'm excited.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Longtime fan Cheryl Stevens says, you do look good. Hello,
it's going to see you all. He's a long time fan.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
I mean, it's been a long time. A little coming.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
I say about you. I mean, if the m VP
of this show is Frank and Frank is kept it going,
you know, it's some a liiteration this Frank's demand. I
get to Frank every time.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Frank, Frank, You've been a part of this since I've left,
like you've never left. No.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Wow, that shows you how how little demand there is
for me. There's just so little demand. I just like that.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Shows how dedicated you are.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yes, Frank, it's.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Very great quality, very very grateful.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yes. So he's he's the MVP of the show. He's
like he keeps he kept it going. Oh, in some
form I did. I did the jply for me originally, folks,
was we doing extra stuff on the side but he
kept the j spport going, that hotel, the show, tell
the business. When I went out of business.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Sure, I ran the wheels right off that thing.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Frank, has there ever been a point where where you
felt weary and thinking, maybe, you know, maybe you don't
want to anymore, not for this? What kept you going?
What kept you saying, you know what, I'm just going
to stick it through?
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (21:39):
One One, I guess because I enjoyed still watching the show.
But then also too it was I mean I was
grateful for James to give me that opportunity, and I
enjoyed doing it, and especially with after Buzz. If James
and that started his own network, I definitely would feel
a little aimless because you know, I enjoyed doing it
(22:00):
types of shows we were able to do it after, whether
it's Age or any of the other after shows that
we did there. But once that platform shut down, I mean, yes,
you could probably you know, try to do something on
your own, but James already had an M structure already
kind of built up. Yes, yes, so he it was
I was very grateful that he considered, you know, wanted
to one continue doing a G show and then two
(22:22):
having me be part of this stuff.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yes, Chad loves Frank. They love Frank, so they love.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Yeah, he could have easily upgraded.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Yeah, I don't think it gets no better than you, Frank.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
I agreelyd. I just I don't either. But here's the thing.
So because of Afterbus TV going off the air, because
I'm celebrating five years on my own also, which is crazy.
I was fifty years old I started this, and I
was like, I had no idea what I was gonna do.
I would make my own networks grew, everybody would do
myself and like I said, ninety shows later, I'm doing
(23:00):
it obviously, but I uh, but it was because of
Frank and Tammy. Tammy Goveka. She was doing bold with me.
You were doing this with me. And when tell me
more said I'm gonna continue didition days, I'm going to
continue doing it on my own. I was like, you
know what, I think I was continue doing these shows
were successful. People liked it there, they're good people tune
in every week thing they show our chat. Our chat
(23:20):
has sixty one people in it right now, sixty You
know what I love.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
I remember when we first started, it was what ten fifteen,
you know, and we kept going. What I love about
you is that it didn't matter if it was one person,
you continue the show like it was fifty And I
love that. I love that.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
That's always why if you said that, it's always when
I teach classes on this, I always tell them treat
your people well. And that's the all thing. Whether it's
like I said, whether it's one person or a one hundred,
at the all point, you're on the air, this is
your chance to be who you want to give them everything.
And that's why I and Cheryl's like, yeah, first found
you all on a Yeah, that's that was I mean,
(24:02):
that's just kind of that's just that's what we do.
We just come on and have a good time and
and you know, there's just been a few times here
and there. I was kind of like, I don't know, well,
I don't know, but I was like, but for the
most part, it's the fans, my co hosts. That's why
I'm here still because it's it's important to them, and
it's kind of like it just made it important to me.
(24:23):
Is it called me the black the god black godfather
soaps for a while, kids, I've been doing this for
a while.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Even the platform that you give the casts. I'm sure
that you know, even though they are doing soaps, they
don't really have well this is just I don't know
if it's true, but they don't really have a lot
of outlets where they can come and talk about you
know what I'm saying. So I think that this is
this is great?
Speaker 1 (24:50):
Well, is there a guest back in the day we
say being guests all the time? Right? Is there guests
you like that? That was trying to remember if you
were star struggle for a guest. I'm trying to remember.
I can't remember if you were Robert Walkt.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
You like you like trying to get it. We're not
doing that.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
So then I'll go dis direction. I love it. We're
not doing that. Mightst give my flowers? Thank you give
my flowers? So the other way, are any guests you
really enjoyed besides because we had you know, we have
Michelle Stafford on killing everybody.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
I think the reason why I'm going to say with
Michelle Stafford is because she's a virgo to understand, you know,
her creativity. She's such an amazing actress. She's very adaptable,
and I just I don't know something about her aura
that was one of my favorites.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
You guys connect on camera, but I remember that you
guys connected in the middle, and she really connected with you.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Is Virgo season, by the way, it is?
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Yes, it is? And so wa, when's your birthday?
Speaker 3 (26:04):
September thirteenth.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
It's coming up, kids, so make sure you gotta follow her.
But yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
I remember Robert Palmer Walkers because he was our very
first guest. Yes, I remember Michelle. I remember Nell. Yeah,
that's what you're trying to get a little messy, but
it's so fun.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
But hey, girl, you got him to scene with me
at the enage that you went to that she she
wanted this amazing dress. And yes, exactly, I know what's
going on.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
You too much for me.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
I am to us.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Let me see who else I have posted every.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Or has so we currently had a scene who played
you know, played Diane. She was on several times. Yes, yes,
but it's all pictures of us. Yeah, yeah, but you
will come on. That's why people coming on all the time.
We had a good time, so we still try, he said, we.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
Just never We was never able to get Marie and
I felt a way about it.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
And now I'm friends with them ironically, now I'm friends
with them and his son, friends of your son. I
know it's crazy now it is. But when I finally
get him on the show, I'll let you know for sure,
I'll let you know. I find you.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
I don't think I don't think he I don't think
he's doing interviews.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Though he is. He is. Oh yeah, he has a
whole show and everything now too.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Okay, But if you're going to do that, though, please
make sure I'm not behind the screen. I'm not going
to be like, I'm not going to be star struck,
but I would like that to be know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
They said, it's great where the show is doing well,
that celebrates positivity. You guys do that. Thank you, Thank you,
James Frankly Spotlight, thank you. Uh, the damn thing I
am doing the damn thing.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
I have help.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
I have Freak every week, so it's not just me.
So I do it every week. And I have Tammy,
and I have Candace and I have Amanda, so it's
great and uh, and all my shows I have co
hosts on and me Afraid Dough Star Wars stuff to
you with our friend John and so we really yeah,
we did it will.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Be busy all week.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
All kind of stuff. Kind of. I just every day,
I just this my job, my job every day. It's
grown in the ten years, and I built an empire basically.
So that's what that's what we do. All the Star Wars,
we all star stuff. And and Or won four to
four Emmys last night. So graduations, you did all production
stuff which made sense. The production was wonderful, but it
(28:40):
won four prior time in these last night. So congratulations.
So our show, that's all right show.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Okay, have you been up to Atlanta to pursue any
work up there? Production work?
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Because I know that's kind.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Of like, uh, it is about a ten hour drive
for me. Oh yeah, okay, it's a ten hour drive.
I'm just coming up on, you know, in the Sheriff's
department here in Florida. Our probation is one year, So
for one year, I gotta stay put. But if I
do have time, you know, there are sometimes I still
see castings for but if I have the time and
(29:17):
the availability, I don't mind. Once I'm done with probation,
kind of expanding a little bit more. I'm not giving
up on where I'm at. I'm just trying to just
secure a future and then just have these other things
in my in my back pocket as well. But I'm
not a pop.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Now that's I feel like, that's great. You have something
that you feel like, you know you can rely on,
which is great because, yes, we get older, being able
to know that you can pay pay bills.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
That's really what it is. That's really what it is.
Because sometimes in the arts or in the industry, sometimes
that avenue is slim. You do just enough, but they
forget that you have to eat. Yeah, I guess you'll
take to get to and from. They forget, they forget
(30:06):
all of this. Yeah, you gotta do your hair, you
gotta do, you gotta it's what do you want?
Speaker 2 (30:14):
Yeah, And for people that are outside of the industry,
they're like, oh, you're in, You're that's great, you're sad, Like.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
They think you know what I'm saying, They really think.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Yeah, No, they really think.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
They do. They know they do.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
And tell somebody you live in California. They think you're rich.
The moment you say I live in California, they think
you got all the money but they don't even know.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
It all. Okay, so we're gonna get to we'll get
to the show. She wants to hear what's going on,
and so it's a good weekends. It's a good way
for her to be here because the thing that happened
that the shots heard around the world, the shots that
I had, made everyone stand up and cheer on social media.
(31:03):
It's one of the few times people have come together,
held hands and hugged each other because this one thing
happened on a Tuesday, no less, a Tuesday, Cliffhanger, a Tuesday,
not Friday, a Tuesday. Drew Cane quartermain captain, cutthrow to
what his name is? Coms and Cutbow was shot in
(31:25):
the back twice. Shot shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot,
shot shot. Everybody is I I and there's a ten
thousand suspects, which is wonderful. I'm gonna start there, Frank,
That's just that was just that was that was I
mean everyone, I mean that I felt like that day
(31:45):
and Wednesday, I was just so happy.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
What I enjoyed is leading up to it. It was
a variety of different characters talking to each other about
how much they hated Drew Yes and I like it done,
saying after each of those scenes was up, it was
like Are we making a murder packed Uh, it's just
like that's what it just seemed like. Are we just
all green that we're gonna kill him? It's just what
everything was just set up to be. So there are
(32:11):
plenty of people to uh, to gaze at for this,
which is nice. It's it's a it's a murder, it's
it's a who done it? But not a murder mystery.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
It's fright.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Yes, you still get the character live. But the question
is who shot him twice in the back? I thought
the back shooting was like that was interesting? Why why?
Because it was like were they were they still trying
to kill him? Were they just trying to injure him?
I don't know, because I felt like there's ways you
could shoot him to make sure that he was not
that he's definitely.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Head right there, right up here, bam back in the head. Bye,
they didn't do that.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
I mean, it's soap, so you have to keep some
type of some type of suspense going. Did you guys
have any predictions on who you think?
Speaker 1 (32:56):
So the rest of this means a good question. So
it felt like Christmas, So the rest the rest of
the I'm seriously, lady, everyone hated Drew. I mean, like
the fans, the characters, like, it was so well done.
I was I agree with you, East Coaster, it was
so well done. How they set this up, like Frank says,
(33:16):
kind of like, it's the whole town just saying we're
gonna we're gonna kill Drew. So well, right, we're all
you're you're not, you're on it, You're we're all gonna
do it, right, That's how I kind of felt like, right,
Frank was like, we all hate him, right, everybody hates him, right, Okay?
That it was like, oh my god. And the way
that folded the rest of this week because they brought
somebody back to Frank that I didn't I was shocked
(33:38):
by this chick named Jacinda when when they brought her
on first, but Michael was thinking back to like you
met this chick, like wait a minute, and then when
she showed up, Oh my god. I laughed out loud.
When she showed up to Nita and a Portia Hi,
I just senda Hi. It was a whole other thing
(34:00):
about them too. But bringing her back into the Mikes
us interesting, very interesting. I didn't expect that there's so
many suspects and I feel like with Tracy's saying, Michael,
I know you were there. Didn't see that coming either, Frank. So, Ladina,
that's a hard I don't. I really don't tell you.
(34:21):
The truth is so well done. I'm not sure there
are some obvious people, but I don't. What do you
think of, Frank, I don't know, in general, what do
you think of?
Speaker 2 (34:33):
I mean, they've been playing it. The Willow's kind of
who's kind of Drew's fiance, Drew's obsession, Ladin, he just
wants used to be married to. Michael stole her away
from him, and we Will's got her own issues after
losing custody of your kids, where she was going into
(34:54):
Michael's other child that he had with another woman and
messing with the baby and trying to freak them out
to get paid back for them. So Willow is not
operating with a full deck at the moment. So I
could see I could see it being her like for
as much as she's like like, oh no no, I
want Drew, that maybe she's going for some payback. So
(35:14):
I'll throw a Willow as somebody that.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Well, Frank, when she hugged Drew that time, and it
was like I laugh, Oh my god. Indeed, So this
chick was like, I'm done with you, but she feels
like he's her only way to get her children back.
So he taking whatever you can get from her because
you a clueless man. So she goes in front, he
goes into hugger. Her face was like this man disgusts me.
(35:39):
Like she was just like I could I could stop louing,
like oh my god, but she still accepted the hug.
She did because she had to, because she had to.
The hug was like I believe when you Drew help me,
help me get my kids back, I believe. Yes, yes,
he's not gonnacause he loves he loves her. She's hugging
(36:01):
her for that, and she like, okay, yeah, I love
you too. But she didn't say that, but it's like
that said it all. Her face and by language said
it all.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
And even when other friends of hers are like, you
can't go back to him, She's like, I know what
I'm I know what I'm doing now I will I
will do anything it takes to get my kids, even
if I have to do with a jerk like this.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Yes, she was like I gotta do I gotta do this.
She feels she feels like she's on her wits end.
But what Frank's talking about because you were a nanny lady,
and what she would do is the mother would go
away for a second, come back in the room the
baby was turned around, or the one time they changed
her clothes and turned her around. She walking and going
(36:48):
what the baby? This way? We're in this and it
was like and so she do things like that, okay,
almost like am I going crazy?
Speaker 3 (36:56):
Like?
Speaker 1 (36:56):
Am I going crazy? But Michael figured out it's Willows
sticking in there word screwing.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Yeah, he said.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
I was like okay, and you know, okay, So we
learned that Michael was down the street Tracy saw that car.
Willow claims she just went for a walk. But then
Nina jumps in where she was with me, Oh yeah
and daughter estranged mother and daughter. Will didn't like that.
(37:31):
We will try to call her out on it, and she's like, no, no, girl,
I'm trying to give you a I'm trying to give
you an alibi. No, you're trying to get yourself an alibi,
and I'm trying to give you So each one thinks
the other could have done it, all.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Right, lady, and I'll ask you because just you know,
this is the Willow and a Nina situation. Willow the daughter,
Nina the mother. Nina actually kind of kind of had
like this love hate relationship with Drew and it spilled
over into just like little hate sex would hate sex. Uh,
And then a little they've been they have been continuing
(38:04):
on kind of that they hate sex, kind of dancing
around for months, and then Drew kind of really falls
in for Willow. They start smooching, uh, and Drew kind
of tapers off that hate sex with Nina. But nobody
ever tells Willow that either of them had it hooked
up until recently I came.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
Out that's wrong.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
That's right, that's right, that's wrong. Yep.
Speaker 3 (38:31):
And not on nobody else behalf except for his because
I'm a strong believe on just letting people telling them
the truth and then letting them decide how they want
to call a back.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
Yeah mhm h.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
They're all thinking, stop. They don't think it's Scout shot him.
That's funny, So Scout, that's all I think? Scout shot?
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Why is that so funny?
Speaker 1 (38:55):
This is the kids. He's like twelve years old, which
they they've DoD other social forth kids have shot, but
they ended it was Scout being missing on Friday. That's
a dynasty coming either.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
I was like, oh, I boy, I would love it
if it was Scout. That would be amazing too. Why yeah,
I feel like that's the way that you know Drew
is not gonna gonna testify against his daughter.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
No right, of course, not your baby. I mean she's
twelve years old.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
Is possible, opera that's you too, anything that's basically lady.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Just so you know, Drew put out a restraining order
against all the reminder of Scout's family and relatives so
they could not be within fifty feet of the only
person that the exempt is. She just Drew himself and
Willow and really but her grandma, all her aunts, her brothers,
no ges.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
The isolation tactic.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
Interesting could have got that gun gone, gone it down?
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Dad? I know, oh yeah, he also figures maybe in
the hospital. I didn't tell Ayned the whole story, but
just like that gave her basics of what was going
on here.
Speaker 4 (40:08):
I was gonna say, we did a lot, but I
want to we don't want to barred lady with all
the details at Scott that would be crazy, but they've
they've done kids before, they've.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
Done kids before.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
Been speaking of all this because I know that you
have not kept up with the show as much but
your but your mom still does. So yes, what what
what if she told you recently that is at all
kind of like maybe I should? Should I give it
a try to catch up again? What is something?
Speaker 3 (40:40):
Well, just recently maybe like for the past month or so,
she's been managing two offices, so she's been a little
you know, catching up all sleep or working. But because
I haven't watched it in a while, the names, I
won't be able to because you know, they're always swapping
(41:00):
people out, and so I'll have to get back to
you now, Well, thank you for bringing on some things,
you know, or the next time around, I'll have my
mom sit in with me.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
Oh my god, I love.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
It because she's been a long time. I've been watching
g H since I was since I could see.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
I love I love that. Oh my god, I love that.
So Okay, so as you was asking again, we can
go through that lens. Okay. So obviously Michael is a suspect,
obviously because that's his uncle Drew slept with his wife
and that whole thing, right, and.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
Then I guess because it all the matters, like because
he does have that alybody with Cinda, I guess with
the h at the rest of the PC grill. But
I don't how much time is from him having that
that drink and chat with her to when he's sitting
outside Michael's house whether he went in or not, you know,
but he's maybe thinking about going in, right, yeah, right.
Speaker 1 (42:10):
I don't know either. So, but he's a he's a
told suspect, obviously, will we just describe she's a suspect.
Obviously I just mentioned her mother, Nina, so she's obviously
a suspect. But Nina and Porscha's conversation hilarious. They were hilarious.
So it's great that they don't they know all about
(42:31):
my hatred for about openly, but yours is in secret
only if you will know. And she's like, yes, Curtiss,
your daughter, and you well yeah, I mean I was
laughing the whole time as they were dancing around, like,
so it's good you're with your daughter. And I sat
in the rain and it was I They're hilarious. I
(42:53):
loved it. I loved it. I loved it because again.
Drew was blackmailing Portia because he hates Curtis. Porsia and
Curtis are married. So to get through Curtis, he went
for his wife, his daughter and Aunt Stella, poor aunt Stella,
going to Aunt Stella. So Curtis was hot. We didn't
see him this We didn't see him really this week.
(43:15):
He's hot. They mentioned him. Some of thinks he did it,
like not by Curtis. Yeah, I didn't know. We got here.
Ain't gonna kill a body, but they think he might
have done it. So Curtis's suspect you so, I think,
But but so is so is Porsche and and Porsche
and need to worked together and they done it. Was
who hired your Cis? She's like, friend of friends, I
(43:38):
need somebody, I was laughing, I need so I was like,
that's right. Her money ran out apparently in Australia. How
was it ever?
Speaker 2 (43:45):
Was it ten or twenty thousand?
Speaker 1 (43:49):
It's not a lot of money. A lot of money.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Well, it was never supposed to be forever. But she
did sure she was not minding that budget, and she
kind of she went hot on that budget in Australia.
She lived a little, She lived fast.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Look like it was it forever, but she'll be gone
for a while. I mean would be like, stay out
to the country, bitch, because like we got we gotta
hide you ten thousand. I need more in ten thousand
to hide my ass. I need like fifty or one
hundred thousand, twenty thousand. Yeah, that's not you know a million,
Come on, Frank, Well.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Yeah, the bird part about that this is because like
Curtis had arranged with Felicia to get you in it coack.
Then she was gone, So that the thing was that
Drew had gotten to her. So if Druid gotten to her,
I mean she's back in Port Charles, so clearly it
wasn't anything. She was fine, she was actually nothing happened.
(44:43):
So I don't know. I don't know, lady. You know,
how long do you think you could live in Australia
with twenty thousand dollars in your.
Speaker 3 (44:51):
Pocket like James to twenty k nowadays one hundred dollars
is five dollars now that's okay. You could go through
some money right now pretty quickly. So maybe about fifty
(45:11):
seventy five. I go wherever you want me to go.
You want me to live underground? Yes, I said, I
will be out of sight, out of mind, that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
How much more longer do you have for your Sharfess program?
Speaker 3 (45:28):
My probation is up November first?
Speaker 2 (45:31):
Wow? And then what's the difference between being an approbation
and that probation in terms of that?
Speaker 3 (45:37):
Well, I'll be going back on probation because I'm going
to be joining the academy at the end of the
year to be a deputy. But I had to do
one year first as a detention technician. So right now
I've been on my little workout run so that when
I take the physical fitness test, you know, I don't
(45:57):
have to take it twice.
Speaker 2 (45:58):
So how is the academy three months?
Speaker 3 (46:04):
But there's a pre academy, So there's some tests that
I need to take before I even go into the
Academy's those completed, but I can't start those until a
month out from my end of my approbation date. So
anytime after October first, I can start taking like those
free uh physical agility tests and those questionnaires.
Speaker 2 (46:29):
Is markmanship included in that as well? Or no?
Speaker 3 (46:32):
Is what I'm sorry?
Speaker 2 (46:33):
Marksmanship like guns and anything like that, weaponry or is
that part of it too.
Speaker 3 (46:40):
I already go to the gum ray, so I'm not
even a worry about that. I love the state of Florida.
Speaker 1 (46:49):
Yeah okay, oh yeah, we also forgot before you get sall,
you're further than this. So the custody hearing which Michael
and Willow had a judge, she did to. I didn't
see that coming. I was wondering how we were going
to use her in a situation. Well, she ended up
(47:11):
floating in the in the peers and the boys found her.
Oh she did. Okay, So Frank, that's sidwell, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
Oh? Of course, like you know, we already know that
Sid will pay her off. She's calling afterwards just because
she has one conversation with Jase and she starts freaking out,
not knowing already that because Marco blabbed about about paying
off the judge to Drew that her time, that judge's
(47:43):
life was already a short short list to be ended.
So that phone call was just a convenient excuse to
get her to go over to Spoon Island. And then
they just choked her out, lady. They choked her out
and threw her in the river.
Speaker 1 (47:57):
Oh worst or what second? Sorry, tercews, I didn't see
the chat when somebody's the chat goes slow and goes fast,
I didn't. Thank you for saying so I didn't see it.
Thank you for the super chat for nine And he says,
what if this leads to a humility story for Drew
and he wasn't killed? So sorry, I just didn't. I
didn't see it. I didn't went by signs of chat
(48:17):
goes in different stages. I didn't. I didn't see it.
So there you go, thank you, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (48:24):
Yeah, I don't know. It's uh. I will be curious
to see what comes from Drew out of this. I
don't everybody. We're still hanging a light on the fact
how different Drew is now as he was when he
first came back to Port Charles. So, whether it's the
same Drew he's been replaced by somebody else, who knows.
Speaker 1 (48:42):
I've heard all the rumors, Frank, Yeah, I've heard all
you guys out there. And let me just say this
for a second. You guys out there in UH in
television land, you guys out there in UH in comment land,
some of yours, some of your theories sound wonderful, sound
(49:03):
like great story, sound amazing. I doubt it's any of
those things, but they sound great. If if if Drew
turnes out to be somebody not Drew, that would be
be kind of fun. But I don't know where you
guys are getting this stuff from. It's it's good, good imagination.
It feel like they've never I don't know. So it's
(49:24):
kind of funny to me. I'm seeing this and I
just I just took it. I just took it as
jud took a dark turn. I mean, because they've done yes,
they've done the whole mask thing before on soaps and stuff.
But you guys are really thinking it's Shiloh and at
Silo it's wort shot the shot or Drew shot. Really
(49:44):
this is a shot. I don't. I just don't. I don't.
I don't know. It's very interesting. I mean I think
I think characters do go bad sometimes and then they
can be redeemed or whatever. I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (49:57):
Yeah, I think the thing with the Drew stuff is
that or not we just see him acting like a
jerk all the time, and there's no real like person
that he's like having like a genuine conversation with even
to even know, like why he may be having why
he maybe feel that he needs to behave the way
that he's been behaving, right, So, you know, so I
(50:21):
think that's that what gives That's what I think that
leads people to be thinking like, oh, it could it
could be somebody else impersonating it, because that would explain
the shudden shift that we've seen in the way that
Drew's behaving. It could, we could not It could be
just like you said, James, James, he got you got
beaten up in prison, and he's got something wrong and
now he's kind of he broke bad, so to speak.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
I don't I guess, I don't know. I mean a
camera said he has read with the Shottle stuff. He
thinks it's hilarious. That's what I'm saying. I don't. I mean,
I'm saying that people are really kim of these re
elaborate things. I'm like, wow, that's that sounds great. I mean,
it's like a good fan fiction. But I don't like
I'm gonna see that on screen. I think it's just
I think it's just simply they changed the character and Drew.
(51:05):
I think they literally think it's you know, you know
what I mean like they need a villain, So Drew's
a villain.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
Yeah, and who knows even if if if if they
don't reveal anything and it is still just the same
old Drew. Does he change after being shot twice in
the back end?
Speaker 1 (51:21):
Was dying?
Speaker 2 (51:22):
Who knows that thing?
Speaker 1 (51:24):
So okay. So at the same time Kai was and
Trina with Trina is Curtis's daughter. They get into Drew's
house because Kai works for Drew to get the information
that the black information that that he has on poor show,
which is her mother. They get in, but here's the deal.
(51:49):
He left the door open in the safe and he
dropped the bat, so his fingerprints on the bat. Frank there, Right,
they're gonna find out. And then when she goes back
to go back to her place, they have that they
have this stuff beside to burn it.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
Yeah, which is great.
Speaker 1 (52:15):
I think it was great. It was a good idea
for sure.
Speaker 2 (52:17):
Yeah, burn that thing. Yeah, it's all gone. Yeah, I mean,
you know, there's nobody there's no way to prove that
they took it if they're if that, if that efidence
does not exist anymore.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
It's very smart. Basically they did that. I was like, okay,
but I was like, Okay, so I guess it could
be a suspect on some level, right, I guess maybe.
Speaker 2 (52:39):
You know them being there at the scene, you know
we I mean, we know they're not suspects because we
saw what was going on that whole time. But I mean,
you know, it doesn't I think for the law, for
the police, Alidine, I'm sure you can speak more to this.
It doesn't serve some bit serve. Well, if somebody was
at the scene of a crime and see somebody injured
and they just leave instead of calling for medical.
Speaker 3 (53:01):
Assistance, definitely fight.
Speaker 1 (53:05):
Yeah, well we gotta go. People in Chat are like
kay is a doufist Uh. People in chat are half
and half They want you to stay bad was good.
H East coaches said, let's be honest, it was not
working when camera scory rollers through in the beginning. There
(53:26):
you have it.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
I mean, that's that's that's that's very true. But but
certainly the way that he was written now, I don't
know how how long term sustainable that kind of character is.
You it works great to set this up as to
who shot him. Great, you want you really want that
writing to make it seem like he is to just
the worst person on Earth, and there's so many reasons
(53:49):
why so many people want to kill him. But if
the plan is to kind of keep this character around
long term, I don't think you can have him be
just so arched the whole time, because you need to
be able to like you because otherwise we're always going
to want to keep getting rid of him. You got
to be able to kind of ride that flow a
little bit. There's times where he's going to be bad,
(54:10):
and then the times where he's not so bad, and
then other times where he is. Otherwise, I think it's
going to be we'll find ourselves back in the same
position again.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
Well this is what you call the who shot JR?
From Dallas at every one body wanted to shoot JR.
But I feel difference between j R and Drew was
you love to hate JR. J R. You know j
R would do things or smile on his face. He'd
be mean, but he's he was. It was a weak
(54:38):
and it was a weak and a smile in there.
And so I think it's only similar. After j R
got shot, we had to dadd we kind of they
nedn't really flew redeemed JR. He was still JR. But
it made him a little lighter, I think a little
a little bit, But I feel like that's what you
and you to get to figure out what kind of
what kind of personality will Drew now have. Well, it
(55:01):
depends he may be paralyzed.
Speaker 2 (55:05):
I really hope they don't do that because I don't
you know, we already saw that with Curtis recently, and
those storylines never really.
Speaker 1 (55:11):
Go anywhere, but they always do it though. He says,
say it's nearest spye, it's nearest spine. So lady got
shot in the back near his spine. So I'm just
saying why they're obviously, Frank, if they shot him there,
it's probably know I'm with you, I'm with you, adopt
I am not you. So someone's bringing up Adam Chandler
(55:35):
say it was Adam Chandler's Villainy explained, yes, once there
was revealed, we except him for who he is. So
maybe that's what we need from jew. But again, I
must say, before Frank said something, Camen says, no, David
Canary say that. I was just gonna say that out loud.
(55:56):
David Canary was an actor unto herself. Adam Chandler is
a character among all characters on television that was so good.
That's want to say that.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
No, and that's true, like his David Kennery is. What's
great about his performance is that while Adam can do
despicable things, his performance can still make you intrigued and
compelled and engaged with that character. So even when he's
being bad, you still feel some connection to that character.
I would say that Drew at this point does not
(56:25):
have that same sort of impact. I think it's more
just probably closer to the to the character you don't
want to name James where it's just like when he's
on screen, he just he just they just roll it
and you just want it gone. Uh, And you're not
having that other part from the performance that gets you
just like, oh okay, yeah, you know, I can love
(56:46):
to hate him or he can drive me crazy, but
I still want him on the show. Right now, we're
just at the performance left where it's just like I
just want him gone.
Speaker 1 (56:53):
Oh. They're saying Valentine is more like an Adam Chandler
for sure.
Speaker 2 (56:57):
I mean, but James Patrick Stewart again another from now right,
you know.
Speaker 1 (57:04):
Or even Sunny Villain you think about it, he was,
I mean, that's that he's getting ready. He was a
villain with a heart of gold. That's the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (57:15):
That he's a heavy hitter.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
Let's let's well as you know Ladys that she is
a sunny maybeboy Sonny was He never beat up women,
He never the mother of his children were always protected
on some level. He loves his family. Those were his codes, right,
those were his codes. But he wasn't He killed people
(57:39):
good things. I mean those yeah, but people like him.
That's the thing. People somebody's like James. You always talking
about Dallas. What about Dynasty. Well let's let's see dynasty Alexis.
She was a villainous, but you loved her on some level.
(58:01):
You want to see what she was going to do, right,
I mean I was like saying the same but again
the same thing. Or Adam Adam Adam Carrington was a
was a mean kind of character, but you understood he
was trying to get back into this family that he
was taken from. That was his role, you know. And
again you have Gordon Thompson. It was a great act.
He was a great, great actor. I don't know, I
(58:24):
feel like there's there's a lot of characters out there
who are that anti hero slash kind of villain that work.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
Yeah, I mean, and if we look at like James
Patrick Short again, like he the show gave him a
big hole to dig the dig at. They did write
him first down the show and his performance, uh, despite
some of the scenes that he was given, was still
able to make people to win you over.
Speaker 1 (58:53):
Yes, So David was brilliant. No, I know, I'm saying
it wasn't saying to you East Coast. I'm just saying,
and we're gonna talk about David Canary. He to me,
he's way up here. I'm just saying, he just way
up there. They're bringing up Alexis was Vumbera when it
came to her children exactly. Roger Thorpe another great one
from Guiding Light, another one who he loved. He loved
(59:14):
his daughter Christina Blank and he had he had weakness
sins for a Holly and he was friends with Maureen.
So there the thing is, if you show it like
Luke and Laura Luke, Luke was was a villain. He
brought he was a villain, but he came in he
raped Laura Folks. I mean, that's the whole thing. But
he was somebody who was he had a horrible upbringing.
Him and Bobby came from you know, prostitution, so he
(59:37):
explained stuff. So he became kind of this anti hero.
So he was like, he wasn't the greatest father, but
he wasn't horror like. They they worked that character out
in a way that a lot of us, like him liked. Luke.
I was like, I mean they pared with people that worked.
It made sense. I just I just think that with
Drew it just seem sudden. He was just battles and
(01:00:00):
I will admit that just seemed like all of a sudden,
But I almost feel like that was the new writing,
just saying screw this noise to this.
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
I mean, it could be that too, And it is
just I feel like right now we have not had
the humanizing scenes of this truth. If this is him
just being one arch bad guy, I'm gonna take a
lot of people off.
Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
Yeah. I agree. I think it's just it's just crazy.
But but back to Dynasty, Dynasty was not as good
as Dallas. Sorry, folks, that's another show too. Dallas my favorite,
my favorite primetime show ever. Dynasty was good. I watched
all the seasons. I watched the new on c W
but to me, Dallas was a standard to all which
all others come from.
Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
I will ask them for you. So if we're taking
if we're taking Dallas, nots Landing, Dynasty, the Colby's Falcon Crest,
out of those five, how are you power ranking them?
Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
Dallas number one, not Standing number two, Falcon Crest number three,
then Dynasty in the Kolby's four and five. And I
always say that because you know, Dallas and Dynasty were
the biggest ones of that whole era obviously, and they're
all good when they're all I loved all of them.
I was a huge fan, But I think Dallas is this,
(01:01:19):
Dallas is a standard empire. Was Dallas just set in music?
There are a lot of shows that are set up
with the Good brother They were canaan Abel, they were
Romeo and Juliet, was Bobby and Pam. Like it was
always these things, these these tropes that were seriously kane.
Dallas invented the cliffhanger.
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
Would you cheer them the same way or do you
have a different.
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Yeah, Falcon Christ was a show that I was in
Nut's Landing. I just never really got into either of
those shows. Again, it was like, yeah, so I was
like the idea of like the continuity to Dallas, but
I still never got into the show, So I I
probably would Dallas, Dynasty, Colby's and then only because I
never watched the shows, would say not Slanding Falcon Crest,
(01:02:04):
And that's only because of just lack of viewing. I
can't speak to the actual quality of the shows.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
They used to call Founta Cress Dallas with grapes. That's
the whole thing, I mean seriously, And Not's Landing was
actually the guy wrote not Landing first, and then they
said we need something lipsier and they kill him with Dallas.
So now Standing was actually first. David Jacobs wrote that,
(01:02:30):
but then they got they put Dallas on first, and
now Standing came out. Wow, that's interesting now and Dynasty
basically is Dallas with oil. It all goes back to
Dallas'm sorry, guys like Dallas Yes and uh uh yes Rick,
then we got Now we got Rick how in the
(01:02:51):
basement the hilarious trio that I never thought we needed,
but I love them of Ava, Christina and Alexis, And
it's so funny because this ties into jew two Lady,
and it drives because Alexis is the grandmother of Scout,
the kid, the little kid, and they're all the family,
it's all being and she she told you in public,
(01:03:14):
I will kill you public cent in public, my place.
So obviously she's you know, Dante comes over there. They
know she ain't gonna say say something, say yes to her.
You know, that was like it was not gonna happen,
(01:03:35):
but you try. He was like, okay, they they left,
so I'll see you with my lawyer, sure, my counsel.
But Ava being excited and like where's the Bubbling's like
it's my mom's sower, Like was that big chuckle? But
she's like you two or my alibi? And they look
at You're like what I'm like. So it's kind of funny.
(01:03:55):
They have to they have to, they have They're so deep,
they are so deep in the three of them, and
I love it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
What I like is that the way that scene plays,
Alexis confirms or denies nothing about her. We're through, like,
you know nothing, Like.
Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
Ava was like, did you come from the back door?
But I came from the basement, she goes, And so
that's like somebody who's guilty, you can come through, you
can come through the back door. I laughed so hard
because everyone know obviously everyone know that's what they said.
You funnier. It's like these it was a villainous. Christina's
out of goings on many of them. She's totally Sonny's daughter.
(01:04:32):
And then he got Alexis has done all kind of stuff,
and now they have to work together. They can't most
of each other. But you're right, Alexis gives nothing up.
But but Ava's kind of like, cheers to you, girl,
like yeah, us you like she did into it. Christina's like,
oh my god, you know it's hilarious to me. It's
hilarious to me, it's hilarious.
Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
What I like is that I at first wasn't sure
how they were going with Rick. I'm at whether that
blow from Ava killed him or just knock them out.
Glad that he was only knocked out. I was like, no,
you can't, you can't be killing Rick. So that's not
how it turned out to be. I will be curious
to see how long it takes before somebody else that
(01:05:12):
is an Alexis, Christina or Ava find their way into
that basement.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
Bro.
Speaker 1 (01:05:17):
Marla George just said, unlike Drew, Rick is a charismatic
villain because he's son, his brother, his Sonny's brother. There's
that whole thing going on. He raped sam he took
Carly in a basement, tied her up years ago. So
he did all that stuff, and that's he it takes
for his own medicine. Kind that. It was kind of funny,
(01:05:37):
you know, because he was you know, you know black
Bailey alexis so I mean, he's such a he's such
a good Oh my god, we love him. So you know,
how is rick being fed being clean? Nobody cared about
that stuff and some let go to the bathroom clean.
Speaker 2 (01:05:55):
I like that, y and.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
Fed being clean, goat Samantha. Nobody cares.
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
I can't get into the story because I don't know
he's being cleaned.
Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
I love it. Rick Hurst can act in the dark,
Yes he can. He's good. No, he's good. And so
I'm saying, going back to the whole true thing, I
think all three of us can agree. You can't be
redeemed on some so I think it's too I think
it's too far. No, I mean that's it's all about.
Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
I guf. You can easily write to a redemption. It's
all just.
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
One of it.
Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Depends on the performance of the act to sell it,
and depends just how much the audience is willing just
to embrace it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
Yes again, I go back to I go back to
Sunny and Jason. They're not what I mean, they're kind
of villains, but they're not. They're very loved. They're very loved.
I mean, that's all think. Carly comeing into town, slept
with her mother's husband, I went to town and then
all that, and so she's kind of not a villainous anymore. Officially,
(01:06:54):
she's kind of like a woman of the of the town.
But she came from those loose beginnings, you know what
I mean. Laura's killed people back in her past. She
just have something, some loose beginnings. But they all I
just feel like you always always say this lady to
people nowadays, because some have been off for so long.
Everyone has a checkered past at this point, so you
(01:07:17):
can't really go for like, you can't cheat like real
life on someone because everybody it's all ridiculous. I mean
on some level. I mean sure, you know, but it is.
I mean, anybody's had something they've done. Yes, a Lexus
is killed before, right, I mean she has, but that's
I mean, we love a Lexus. I mean she's she's
still a lawyer, and we love her. You know, I mean,
(01:07:38):
I don't. I don't know, you know what I mean.
It's like and when Sonny was talking to Diane, She's like, oh,
you're inviting me for a drink as well. He's like,
he knows his work. She's like, oh, I thought too.
I laughed so hard. But again, folks, please the hair
department of General Hospital. I love Carolyn Hennessy. That is
(01:08:02):
our girl, friend of the show for years. We love her,
love her red hair and short hair is really good
on her. Whatever this wig is do you have on
top of her head should be horse whipped Carolyn Hendsey,
that's my girl. Do we do my girl like that?
That wig? We looked at, lady. The wig ain't working.
(01:08:28):
Look it up, it ain't working. I'm like, I don't
know what shape that is or what color red that is.
It's like, okay, come on, folks, come on, don't do
my girl like that. Please, don't do my girl. I
said that last week. I'm saying it again. And I
love me. I love Carolyn. Karen knows I love her.
Chats all laughing at me. But you know what I'm
talking about. Chat see it. He's gonna look it up.
(01:08:51):
Look up Carolyn Hennessey gh recently, You'll see what I'm
talking about. I'm like, that wig is a little okay,
come on, folks. I was starting at her wig while
she's talking to Sonny. I hope without her own hair,
it looked like it was there was added stuff on
top unless they put in clicks, you know, put in extensions.
(01:09:15):
Mm hmm that you But either way, we need to
we need to work it out. The wig is the
new Moss. I know. I was like, girl, I'm like,
get to her. Girl. I don't do that to her, Like,
come on, I love I love I love you some Caroline.
So we do that to her anyway. Take it to
the stables for Cody. Her hair. Oh my god, that's
so that's so funny. Go Nick's travel videos. Carol Karen
(01:09:39):
loves the crazy hair. She loves crazy and I guess
she loves like good for her. I don't like her.
So okay, we have to Drew yet. Okay, so Drew
have Okay, so Drew hack. They had a cute little
montage at the end with Ann I'm talking it out.
So here are the suspects. Kids, everybody follow along. We
got Michael. I guess they're saying Tracy is in the suspect.
(01:10:00):
I guess right, she found Okay, so Michael Willow Carly
that's that's her, that's her son. And she was like
she kissed their willow and Drew carly Sonny. I guess
Jason isn't they're saying him at the moment, he's been gone.
Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Yeah, he's been out of country, so.
Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
It's not him. So Jason, I'm saying Sidwell because you
just don't know me. He could have done something, so
I try to silence him.
Speaker 2 (01:10:33):
True, but I don't know, like like the police aren't aware, right, Chris.
Speaker 1 (01:10:38):
Said, that's at home for Laden and you and I
I'm putting he in there. You like Sidwell Laden, he's hot?
All right? So there we got uh. We also got Curtis.
I'm just gonna say, well, Trina and then many other rooms.
You know what, Trina and Kay there in the other room.
(01:11:00):
But there will be suspects obviously because they were there. Yeah,
they didn't do it. Then we have just Cinda when
she's back in town. So I mean, I mean the
reason yeah, I said portion and Curtis, miss I don't
think Stella did it funny of Stella did it to
be kind of funny. I'll put her to suspect Anita,
(01:11:22):
he said, Nina. And then but I guess Martin is
because well, I know Martin might be. We don't know.
He played it off with Lulu like he just got
killed or whatever, like got shot. So maybe Martin.
Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Yeah, I feel less about him though, I mean, he
lost the payday. But and he's you know, he was
going after Stella. But I don't think he I don't
think they would drive him.
Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
To murder, right, well, Lexus, Yeah, what about Laura.
Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
Nah, I don't think so. Uh, it's probably Monica.
Speaker 1 (01:11:55):
Okay, oh my god, that's hilarious. Monica got got down
from upstairs or some conference or where she was, and
she uh in there saying, Marco, that would be a
good twist you in a weird way kind of say
you should be him. I'm saying that that's that would
be while you were saying Scout or Danny, Danny testing
(01:12:22):
your sister.
Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
M h.
Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
They're all missus, wu had something against you? She had
something against Sidwell. Yeah, they're like the entire cast me,
Jameson Jr. I want to shoot him to them too. No,
Anna's a double agent. But Anna didn't that she didn't
do it. I don't think, and I don't think, and
(01:12:45):
I don't think because they're so busy at that other storyline,
so we know it's not it's not a jack and
all them. They're busy in that storyline. There were two shots,
but I think it was the same person who shot him,
shot him twice, right.
Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
Yeah, I mean I don't see that. I don't see
it as a second shooter situation.
Speaker 1 (01:13:05):
But I think got cob shot, Like you get your shot,
get mine.
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
I came all the way here with a gun. I'm
gonna I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
Gonna shoot him. I don't care if he's shot already.
That's how that's how petty I am, lady, and I'll
be like, I'm getting my shot in for sure. Oh
I don't care. You laying down already? You did me wrong?
Take that okay? But they said they're saying Willow first shot,
Nina second shot. That's actually hilarious. Oh yeah. Portia says
(01:13:35):
she has Isaiah's out because they were sleeping together. Oh yeah,
so Curtis's woman, they break up if she lied this
whole time. She's a bear with the other hot man.
It's a hot mail doctor. He's black. He plays on
it and he plays he plays doctor Isaiah again him
and they started. They had sex right there in her office.
In her office. I was like, and they can't be
(01:13:58):
comfortable I'm not too old for that kind of stuff anymore.
Like desk.
Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
It just doesn't doesn't track, doesn't pick up on anything.
Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
But you know, well, you know the ladies laughing. I'm like, lady.
I mean when I was younger, I could go on
chandeliers and leap and girl kind of stuff. Not that
not close anymore. You're lucky if I show up. You're
lucky around mirror like nothing other, no special tricks. Those
things are done. I'm like, all those corners, those desks
(01:14:33):
are not they're not comfortable desks like desk. They did
they went to town in.
Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
There exactly, thank you, thank you, but they do it
in there.
Speaker 1 (01:14:42):
So anyway, So I guess he's her alibi. I guess, yeah,
I guess so maybe, but I don't think it's Curtis.
I guess you think it's him, then.
Speaker 2 (01:14:54):
Yeah, I don't think it's Curtis, though I don't know.
I feel like Curtis as a as a former police
officer would be smarter to make sure uh thathing was
gonna be tying into anything. So, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:15:08):
Curtis is considered the good guy, right, he's the good guy. Yeah,
I guess it would be kind of cool if he
was driven to it. You though, he busy stiff that
Jordan again, you know, if I have if she hadn't
pushed me to get together, I don't know, maybe I would,
I don't know. And Joring like really, I'm like, okay,
(01:15:29):
I mean I don't mind. I like see, I like
seeing some chocolate love in the afternoon. I'll take it.
I mean, I'll I'll take it anyway I can get it.
But I was just like, like, what's going on here?
To say the whole time, Curtis was really in love
with Jordan, not Porscha.
Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
Uh, you will he gave. He gave Porsche a second chance,
the third chance that he never gave Jordan.
Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
He said that, he said it goes I got. I
didn't I gave you. But he said, we have. I
see we have more in common than him and Porscha.
He said, that that's true. Come on, Frank, come on,
just get it on already, James, just lie there. I do, Okay,
(01:16:17):
I do, I do. If it was an assassin person,
they would know how to kill him. So not curse
someone who knows guns. Oh that's a thought. Well, my
thing is what you need to know about guns when
you shoot in the back. She got him down, we'll
shooting her head heads right there in the butt. Cheeks
(01:16:39):
checks the bucks. I'm like, I like what Porscha goes
off and screams and throw things. She does all that,
she gets mad doing ship. I mean, that's the thing.
I mean, you're I mean I kept going with you guys.
I guess on that, but I just feel like, I mean,
he was laying on the ground that this second party
(01:17:00):
stepped up closer. So I don't feel the person didn't
want to kill them. Okay, all right, Before we go,
say goodbye to Lady Dean who joined us and stayed on.
It was fun. Thank you, lady, We love you. Thank
you so much for our history.
Speaker 3 (01:17:20):
Please don't forget you don't get to include me in
the anniversary show.
Speaker 1 (01:17:26):
I will include you. I'm asking as she'll come back.
I'll see if she'll come back.
Speaker 3 (01:17:29):
Maybe all Lucretia come on is one Sunday.
Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
I'll ask her. I will ask her, and from.
Speaker 3 (01:17:40):
Now until then, I'll try to catch up with some
episodes so I have a little more, you know, to
to contribute to this madness.
Speaker 1 (01:17:48):
It's good. It's good. It's good right now, it's good
the chat say yes, please visit again.
Speaker 3 (01:17:54):
Yes, please, she's a friend, Frank, it was an absolute
pleasure to see you again.
Speaker 2 (01:18:01):
Absolutely, Aline.
Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
I thank you so much being like one of the
best partners James. Thank you again for the opportunity. I
will forever be grateful and indebted to you for my
first opportunity. So thank you, thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
I might say, by the Ladyen Harvey follow her.
Speaker 3 (01:18:20):
At lady there, wait say that again. I'm sorry you
miss something, lady, you missed something?
Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
You miss Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:18:29):
Okay, okay, bye, all right, that's funny, like you say okay.
Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
So here's the other theory, Frank, the people are to
see a chat. Drew paid just Sinda to shoot him,
but not kill him to set Michael up.
Speaker 2 (01:18:58):
Uh not, I mean yes, for sure. I mean hey,
I'm not gonna put that above uh Drew at all.
Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Interesting what I enjoyed, folks, Porscha in that operating room.
She thought for a second, didn't she that she was
not gonna help? It was like claw Porscha girl, and
she her hands slipped down like a littup guy.
Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
Or she's just kind of staring off for a little while.
He did the girl.
Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
Oh, he was like like port She was like oh yeah,
and then we didn't switched out. I was like, oh
my god, that's hilarious. She was like she thought about it.
She'd take back to him blackmailing her.
Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
Yeah, you know, uh, I don't. I don't discount that
theory about Drew hiring Jacinda. But one, then why would
she need that? Why would she be hitting up Porscha
and need it for money?
Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
Me too what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
But then also what was he did he tell her
to shoot her twice? Or is that just like a
liberty that I just said they would have taken, like
like that one shot in the back is good enough,
Like that's that's that's already been enough, like you know,
the second shot? What's going on there?
Speaker 1 (01:20:20):
Then find thinks that Lis might be a sub sect.
Was she at the hospital all night?
Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
I mean she did go over to well, she went
over to Carly's the Metro Court. Yes, Carly is threatening
to kill your that's right.
Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
She she ran over there. She was like a girl,
and Drew was like, you heard that, didn't you listen?
Say let's saying nothing. I mean, she's bad at you.
You could tell she's like whatever, Drew, But she did
one car that come on, girl, playing differently And I
almost almost was with that. I was almost with what
(01:20:57):
you were saying.
Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
And in a world where Willow had not done the
stuff that she had done with Daisy, Yes, that totally
makes sense. But nobody other than Jason and Sonny, nobody
else knows that Michael and Dante that about Willow screwing
around with Daisy, So like that's the whole reason. Like, yes,
(01:21:23):
without that, sure Michael should make a different choice, but
like Michael's like seriously, like, hey, this lady was screwing
with my with a baby that wasn't even like why
would I want her to be around her children? Uh
So it makes her hard pressed for to totally buy
into Liz's argument, which is is a good one, but
she doesn't have all the facts, not if.
Speaker 1 (01:21:45):
The thing is I think just Sinda did it. Drew
turned her down and trying to have her arrested, and
she shot him postly girls for money. Now that's more plausible, kids, Yeah,
that's more plausible. Samanthas as she brings up Marco because
(01:22:06):
she thinks his part is planning to get Sonny back
and make it look like he's responsible. But see, my
thing is, Frank, there's also this whole thing about the
judge being dead and this money situation, Like how's it
gonna look because whoever did it has to look like
(01:22:26):
it came from Sonny or Michael, right, And yeah, that's right,
you go ahead.
Speaker 2 (01:22:35):
Yeah, And I don't know how easy it is to
be able to to prove that. I would think that
Michael and Sonny would make sure that their accounts were all, yeah,
they're not missing any money that that can't be traced
back to them.
Speaker 1 (01:22:49):
But I don't know, Nina knows. I think Nina believes
will look at it. Did tell Nina Sidwell said Drew
was a problem to the plan. That's why I said ronic.
I'm like, I wouldn't cut out Sidwell. I think Sybell
took out fucking excuse me, Andrew and the and the judge.
Speaker 2 (01:23:11):
Certainly for the judge. There's enough reason to feel like
that suspecially good fault to Sonny or Michael for that,
so that yeah, there's plenty of reasons for that. I mean,
because it makes like, why would Sidwell like Sidwell unless
you can directly trust that money, which sid Well is
smart enough to make sure that's not gonna happen, right, Yeah,
Like Sonny can have that the right suspicion. It's like
(01:23:32):
it's just she was floating right outside of spoon on Island,
So doesn't that make you think Sidwell? But how do
you prove that?
Speaker 1 (01:23:39):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
And what was? I think like Sonny can figure out
a rationale, but how do you convince everybody else that's like, yeah, hey,
let me tell you this cruizy idea about the Sidwell gap.
Speaker 1 (01:23:51):
Right, well, I think it's very interesting that they So
the show's just surprised me very nicely having her dad
then Tuesday and I said, on Tuesday, I think du
gets shot, and then the rest of the week and
they have it the Friday Scouts missing. Yeah, that's it
was all this and all this stuff in between. But
(01:24:12):
it's just kind of like, yes, I got you know,
yes on Dallas. I thought it was Suellen, right, and
it was it was Chris Christen. You're the one who
shot I remember that whole scene. But as what I'm saying,
the first I was like nominees, the first people that
probably say did it are probably out the ones who
did it. Obviously, that's a that's a that's a trompe
(01:24:32):
on TV period, right, that's just that's a Law and
Order episode right there. I think it's this person, but
it's that janitor who crossed his eyes twice, you know,
you know, that's how it's I'm feeling the first ones
up up for Chargers will not be It's not gonna
be Alexis. I don't think it's be a Lexis. It's
too it's to just like her saying yes, I will
kill you. I mean that's just I mean, okay, but
(01:24:57):
again you and I said this to week before, two
weeks ago. I don't want it to be somebody so
insignificant that I'm like, because so far it's really good
right now, Like I really I'm actually impressed on how
they're really setting this up.
Speaker 2 (01:25:12):
Uh true, because like in the world where they had
not set up that Kai and Trina were in there,
I could have been like, oh, well, it could be Kai,
and that he's insignificant enough that we could get rid
of him. It's fine, right, but you know now that
they should have just like, no, it's definitely not Kai.
You know, like the other suspects that we have so
far are pretty I mean other than just said done, uh,
(01:25:34):
you know, are pretty decent.
Speaker 1 (01:25:36):
And it with Carly well, I guess that's certainly because
we know because we know she's unwittingly a part of
the whole five Part Poppies. She doesn't even know it yet.
She's part of that as of Joss, but I guess
she's still She's in the Michael storyline right now. I
think it's what it is, okay right now, but I
was thinking about the Five Poppies think happening at the
same time. Now we don't know what happened to brit
(01:25:58):
Jason walks in looking crazy the lab but called it
she couldn't get service all of a sudden, Like okay,
so all of a sudden you can't get service man?
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
Laugh?
Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
What that?
Speaker 2 (01:26:09):
What I didn't understand is that she finally gets tackled
by Pascal while she's finally starting to scream into the phone.
Yet Jason gets to her room and finds this note
that's written to her, Like when did she have time
to write this note?
Speaker 1 (01:26:24):
Yeah, unless she's always had it there just in case
after he came. I mean I don't. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:26:32):
Uh maybe, but I felt like, okay, uh, like Pascal here,
I'll be all right out. I know you were tackling
with me with this phone, but I'll be just like
I have her raise something like.
Speaker 1 (01:26:42):
Oh wait a minute, East Coaster says something that that
I come about this part. Cody's trying to call Molly.
He said, it says nine to one one. What if
he has Scouts?
Speaker 2 (01:26:54):
He probably does.
Speaker 1 (01:26:56):
Yeah, I talk about that to just now, So I
said that you're right, that's right he's calling. So maybe
Scout went to the Quartermain's and Cody has her at
the stables.
Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
I'm sure that. I mean sure that's it, And I
feel like, yeah, as much as Alexis wants Scout to
stay there, I mean, we know that's letter practicality with
wickedly in the basement.
Speaker 1 (01:27:18):
So you know, like crazy, are you crazy?
Speaker 4 (01:27:21):
Mom?
Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
Like what the like? What the like? We wanna bring her?
You want to bring her here, ye, because I can
see her finding out he's there. Uh yeah, right, So
I don't know. Maybe maybe that's maybe it's on purpose.
Maybe they made any scouts to be there. I don't know,
but yeah, it's definitely be a major character. I know.
I don't want I don't want to not be a major.
(01:27:43):
I want to be a major character on some level.
At least somebody can go away for a while. It's fine,
I mean I don't I don't want it to be
some no name person out of nowhere. I mean, I
don't want that. But back it. So the Joss again,
this is the one storyline I just I can't get into,
(01:28:05):
and the whole Joss and Vaughan are tied up. First,
you gonna go into a boat, I mean the Adriach
Sea and be killed it But no, I'm not gonna
do it now now, you guys, he says, your use
on they said your youth whatever. So whoever's running this
thing once I'm still alive.
Speaker 2 (01:28:26):
Maybe it's Valentine. He's got something going from stein Mouwer.
Speaker 1 (01:28:29):
Well, I saw so were digests and Valentine is returning.
Speaker 2 (01:28:36):
So I mean what maybe well he maybe he's not
behind it. Maybe he knows who is and so that's
why they need him out to be able to help
stop whoever it is.
Speaker 1 (01:28:47):
Could be Jason gets killed like gets survived. Who are
the assassins? Are that the old geezer guy?
Speaker 2 (01:29:00):
He couldn't have met any like any closer to Jason
and he still missed that was that was insane to me.
I was like, oh, Jason's getting shot. I thought for sure,
But the way that they're framing that up and they.
Speaker 1 (01:29:11):
Totally misses because I thought, I'll be funny, both brothers
shots some situations. Yeah, get some notes, And I said,
watching The Lamb's Life, I had.
Speaker 2 (01:29:28):
Better way to film that sequence to make it more
suspenseful because it was just so comical. It's like, what
come on, g H, you're usually better than this.
Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
True said, but that storyline. I'm tired that storyline already.
Speaker 2 (01:29:43):
You don't understand how like the the bridge gives justly
that little manicure to get out of it, and we
see them knock out that guard and then we come
back to it and they're already tied up again. I'm like,
what how do we even all?
Speaker 1 (01:30:00):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:30:02):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (01:30:03):
I know the worst hit man in history I know.
That's what I'm saying. It's it's you say, you know,
they just they just told they can't do their job.
These can do their job. But meanwhile, looks like we're
just gonna be killing somebody.
Speaker 2 (01:30:17):
Uh yeah I did.
Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
I did like that.
Speaker 2 (01:30:19):
Finally, the you know it's up Claudett's times up.
Speaker 1 (01:30:22):
Looks like you're going to the black place, he said,
or something.
Speaker 2 (01:30:27):
I need to go. I need to go now it's
too late late.
Speaker 1 (01:30:31):
Yeah. That guy is like okay, and she was. She
tried to go out fighting those first. She was like,
you know your neglig just he was like yeah, yeah, yeah,
get out. He didn't give me saying just get out,
like get out. And Anna was standing listening and she's
see Anna is, oh my god, Carly is being pissed.
(01:30:53):
But she finds out, you know she is, she gonna
find out. And Anna, as we say, I told you so.
I think Frank Moran.
Speaker 2 (01:31:02):
Yes, James N. Junior.
Speaker 1 (01:31:04):
There was a chem test with but Anna and Brennan
at the bar. She was drunk, right, so breaks up
with Carly, falls in Anna's bed. I can see that's
totally happening. Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:31:25):
What I liked out of that conversation from the bar
was that Brennan was like, Hey, not everybody's had a
bad experience with the WSB. Uh, and some of those
experiences were brought in by your choices, Anna, uh, you
know which, which I like because it's like a government organization.
It's like saying that everybody hates being in the CIA
(01:31:46):
or the FBI or anything like that. And it's like,
I am sure that there are plenty of people that
have been in those that have had a negative experience,
but plenty of others too that have have had a
very positive experience that are proud to have served. So
I did like Brennan calling Anna out finally, because it's
just we keep hearing Anna talking about the woe is me,
Like Friscoe would have stayed with the WSB for as
(01:32:08):
long as he did if it was not the organization.
Speaker 1 (01:32:13):
I now, uh, there's a yes chem test by saying yes.
But as I saw it, I was like, oh, this
is interesting. She kind of drunk, and I mean I'm like, okay, well, it.
Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
Was certainly getting her with Anna. Brennan with Anna uh
definitely kind of irritates so of Valentine. He like, because
Valentine wants they both want each other dead. So uh,
with Anna would would enrage Valentine.
Speaker 1 (01:32:45):
That that would do that would do it, that do her,
it would So we have that going on with Britt.
I guess she's in the I'm assuming she's in the
Labrary tied up er so I don't know what's going on.
He walks in like, oh my god, and we still
know who he is, the omnipotent one there.
Speaker 2 (01:33:09):
I guess I don't think that. It's like, hey, you
know if if Nathan and Britt are still alive, that
she's gonna be thinking about, say our face, h do
you want him to still be alive?
Speaker 1 (01:33:20):
Well, the thing is they took his brain out and everything,
it was all perfect. They did something that was like
to seriously, it's like that's this is it?
Speaker 2 (01:33:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:33:30):
They use those states are And I think Andrews home
is not wanting to come back. I think he's done.
I think I don't think he's tired or something. So
I don't know. I mean, I I don't want to
Sabody's not back. There are plenty of people that get
do you in his place? I think, like I said,
I'm a venture cast lie person. But they haven't mentioned him.
Rond T be fine, he cann me in charge. I'm fine,
Nathan gone bad? Okay, maybe, I mean I don't, I
(01:33:51):
just I just don't. I think there's other options I'd
rather see. Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
And then we've had Mexsis just hanging out in the
Kobe unit, it out in in Boston, and that.
Speaker 1 (01:34:03):
Was that was really well done. Their goodbyes were really
well done. Rafaender said, for me, just you know, uh,
his character is such a very interesting character. It walks
a fine line all the time. Spidella could be a
very annoying character or something or too much because he's
(01:34:23):
really playing a character on the show, but because he's
played it for so long and they have chemistry. I
buy everything he says. I I just I get it.
I just I just completely how soft he was when
he was talking to her. I believe it. I again,
he's a character that we look too much. But I
(01:34:45):
know and those and those see him saying goodbye to
him being just him hanging out a Lulu for a
little bit. Their friends also, I mean, like it all
fits it all, you know, it's it all fits hey Macinnaire.
At least you have a few lines in there Felicia.
I mean, it's just it's just it's it was, yeah,
and so now she's off in a coma, so in
(01:35:06):
real life in Tennessee. I hope whenever's going on, it
all works out. And i'd notice your back. It's a character.
I like. I think you too, character.
Speaker 2 (01:35:16):
I like, yeah, And I did see somebody posts that
she's now off contract, so hopefully. I don't know whether
she's going to stay off contact when she comes back
next year or.
Speaker 1 (01:35:25):
A while back. We hadn't be Actually I forgot we
had the I forgot about them to Cody and and
Dante reconciliation of some sort. Yeah, finally he brought the
beer over and very dude thing and they finally had
like that about the whole thing about Brooklyn stuff if
I had to talk.
Speaker 2 (01:35:44):
Uh yeah, and then even having Geo having a chance
to talk with both Dante and uh Brooklyn as separate,
it's the church nice.
Speaker 1 (01:35:55):
That was very nice.
Speaker 2 (01:35:56):
Yeah, I'm just done with kind of just like, okay,
I'm hoping that that is a way for us to
get this movie closer to some sody. They don't need
to be think of stieves or anything like that, or
like him calling her mom and dad or anything like that.
But you know, like I don't know if we're really
getting anything by like Geo just you know, standing at
the Metro Corps pool just kind of like that hurt
(01:36:18):
look out of his face all the time.
Speaker 1 (01:36:20):
Yeah, I love it. Do you How do you feel
about Nathan coming back? I don't know yet. I don't
know what the storyline is. I wish I could comment
on a freaking the comments. I don't have any comments. No,
I'm not just gonna cop out. And it's like, I
don't know what I wou'd hurt anything. We have no context.
The first it wasn't gonna be Nathan, but not her.
It's gonna be Nathan. So I don't know what the
(01:36:41):
context is. So I can't even. I just he his
death was. It was an amazing scene of amazing stuff
they did. It was death. There's been a deathitely went
ten years. It's almost ten years at this point. It's
been dead for a while, So I don't know. I mean,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:36:58):
I'm uh. It's interesting because it's you know, I mean,
certainly that connects with Maxie, but with her being off
canvas as well right now, So I guess the focus
is really going to be on britt Nita and Obrecht
like that side of the family, and not so much
as the Maxi part of it. I mean, I'm sure
(01:37:19):
having a chance for him to see James and stuff
is one thing, but m h would would be nice.
So one, we don't know how long he's back for.
It's supposedly, you know, like a meaty story, but that
doesn't give any indication to length. Yeah, so I don't know.
I mean, I I he was a character that grew
(01:37:40):
up me during a sign of gh and his performance,
his ability is a perform.
Speaker 1 (01:37:43):
A group well you know, folks. So we had Ryan
Pavey on the show We're back at after a TV
we got to have my show and stuff and uh
and even he talked about how people kept saying he
had wooden performance and stuff and how he's gotten very
I like Ryan, Ryan. We found this a very smart
(01:38:04):
guy and realized a very smart, really smart guy. So
it kind of a nerd in some sense. So it's
I'm curious to see how he has grown since then,
because he did a video the other day I just
talking about how his life is changing and things are different,
and he had left Hollywood for a while, so I'm like,
I'm very curious to see whatever it is he does,
(01:38:27):
what he brings to the table came back. I don't,
I don't know. I don't. Again, they said bridge story
could be about bringing Jack broback, could be I guess
the head Ryan's confirm each turning is Nathan. Well, I
haven't seen that. Probably I can't say anything I see.
I see it myself. I don't want to cause people
look at me crazy. But if that is the truth,
(01:38:48):
then I'm just curious to see what he brings to
the table. You know, what he brings to the table.
Now day's a little older, he's left Hollywood for a while,
a little wiser what perform what the performance will be
really curious.
Speaker 2 (01:39:04):
Yeah, you know, if it focuses more on that side
of the family, I'm curious that. I mean, that needs
some really great like him, and like were you you
see between him and Obreck would be great.
Speaker 1 (01:39:16):
Ye there met James.
Speaker 2 (01:39:19):
No, so those would all be great things. Uh, it
would be great for him to play you know. Uh,
and as long as the doors left open for him
to come back in the future at some point. I'm down.
Speaker 1 (01:39:30):
I mean Cody be interesting. I mean, what happened there.
They're kind of cousins on some level or whatever I
guess or something however that work. Oh, they're all related
somehow through marriages or whatever or something. So I'm like,
they're all part of the same family. So it's James's uncle,
That's one thing for sure. Somebody it's this we kind
of in a weird way, so like it could be
it could be great.
Speaker 2 (01:39:51):
Uh, you know seeing Amy, you know where you did
the Manlanders.
Speaker 1 (01:39:55):
So oh no, we have no Manlanders. The other thing
we don't speak kids. So is it Carli Jason Britt triangle?
Good question.
Speaker 2 (01:40:12):
No, I don't think Carl's in that. Carly's in it
so much as like Carly's a woman in Jason's life.
I think I think for more, I think Britt's concern
isn't that it could be that kind of triangle given
the past that happened with Jason and Carly and her.
But I don't think from Jason, I don't think it's
(01:40:33):
a Carly Britt triangle. I think I think the focus
is more on brit but Carly still being a part
of his an important part of his life.
Speaker 1 (01:40:43):
It's all I.
Speaker 2 (01:40:44):
Mean because because I feel like James, and tell me
if you think differently, like, since Jason came back this
last time, the show really is not investigated or delved
deep in any of that stuff that was going on
when he left the first time.
Speaker 1 (01:40:58):
They haven't. But I almost think wisely they haven't. And
I just wonder because I've been told the endgame is
carl and Jason. That's the endgame. So I just but
they see other people all and all stuff and they
get together the end. So I'm just curious when it
comes back, will they allow a full on because whenever
(01:41:20):
they were they were going that direction, a full on
romance until brit Romance. I'm just curiously they're gonna go
full steam ahead or not that's my question.
Speaker 2 (01:41:32):
I mean, knowing g H, I could say zero confidence
they either way, right, I would love for them too,
but I think we've all seen, both you and I
and the fans potential romantic possibilities just just strangled quickly
and die on the vine on that show.
Speaker 1 (01:41:53):
But also the problem is the only people being alone,
and Carly is usually not alone for long, so if
she's into the orbit of Jack, unless they keep trying
to keep it with Jack on some level. I don't know, right,
I mean, where does she go next?
Speaker 2 (01:42:11):
I mean, I guess it depends on how big they're
making this, or how they write Carly taking the truth
that comes out that Carly's a WSB or that's a
WSB agent, how she was recruited, that Brennan didn't tell
her any of this. But Brennan's been straight with her,
saying that I can't tell you about my job. So
(01:42:34):
I don't know. I will be curious to see about that.
Speaker 1 (01:42:38):
Yeah, I said, originally they're going that direction. I'll got
cut off for various reasons. So now they're back. I
heard back on tract they said Carly and Curtis. I
think Curtis is going to Jordan. Yeah, that's I think
they're really going that direction. Carl I think was she
(01:43:00):
remember her and Sean were together for a me, So,
I mean, I can perhaps the car be really pretty,
but I don't think they're I think they're going they're going.
They're gonna do They're gonna do. Let's see, it depends
if they're gonna have Carly forgive Jack. That's the great
she may forgive him. Yeah, let me explain himself about
maybe Joston explains it. I mean, who knows, because well
(01:43:23):
should be mad at Josh also for I'm telling you
should be right?
Speaker 2 (01:43:29):
Yeah, But I mean if you're a secret agent, like
you know that there's the whole part about being the
super part where it's like, you know, like, how mad
can you be at somebody from not revealing you their
secret nature? I don't know. That's tough, That's that's tough.
I mean, yes, you want to be able to tell
your family what's going on with your life. But also
if you're wearing a secrecy about this and mad, could
(01:43:52):
you be at them or it's like, well, yes, you
can be mad for sure, but but you can also
understand the why I didn't tell you. Because you're a
secret agent, you're allowed to say that stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:44:06):
I'm what I'm saying, but I just I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:44:08):
Maybe they'll put Curly and Martin together, so.
Speaker 1 (01:44:14):
I swaw Martin Tracy, Martin, Tracy. You know, it's fun
seeing him talk to Lulu and her article that she
ended up putting out.
Speaker 2 (01:44:25):
Oh yes, you put it out.
Speaker 1 (01:44:28):
And some some paper never her before I've got the.
Speaker 2 (01:44:30):
Paper and there she is. Just will do you want
to just tell me some quotes off the record, and
if you ever want to speak on the record.
Speaker 1 (01:44:41):
Her show where doctor Robinson, do you want to say anything?
Like because I know it's after Curtis, I mean, and like, no, bitch,
get out, And he kept looking at Nina and he
was like, go talk to me.
Speaker 2 (01:44:54):
What I liked is that she Lulu walks into the
office knowing she's interrupting something, rather than just saying, oh,
I'll come back later and close the door, comes fully
in and closes the door just now I am here
as well. It lets me just to both of you.
Speaker 1 (01:45:13):
I loved it. I loved it. Oh I loved it.
That was hilarious. I loved it. It's just it just
it was. It was Oh my god, it was so funny.
But they were makeing Lulu likable. That's a good question,
sharel Also, that's a that's a very good question. My
thing is hoty doubtable.
Speaker 2 (01:45:32):
Uh yeah, I don't know. She's rated in this deep
dark expose A and Congressman.
Speaker 1 (01:45:37):
Cutthroat after and I love that. But again, Jane Elliott
sells it. She asked this, She asked this, this complete
multi layer performance. I just I just was not so
(01:45:58):
I was surprised that she found you was really upset
about it, and it's like, no matter what, remind me
of what he and her and Brooklyn talk about, how
he was nice at one point and then how this
is gonna hurt Monica. She's looking out for Monica and
how it's just this this weird you know, it's it's
(01:46:23):
just it's a weird feeling because he is part of
the family. After all, he is her brother's son. So
for her, it's just it's a really interesting thing for her.
Speaker 2 (01:46:34):
Uh it is too, you know, just because yeah, there's
just the way that you play that it's like you
can't stand the guy, but yes, he's also family. And
then when push comes to shove and somebody's life is
on the line and they are a quartermain of sorts,
and yeah, I guess that becomes more important than anything else.
(01:46:56):
But I mean, we're really hitting that the Monica is
Monica is extremely rail stage. Yes, uh, you know, I
know that, you know, and from what I've articles that
I've read that the show is just it's we're we're
doing our farewell to Monica. I feel like it's, you know,
(01:47:19):
tough to do when you know the actress that's been
portraying her has been gone for so long, so uh
you know, but also you know, that's how life is,
especially at soaps. You know, they you know, very very
rarely do get like a Tristan Rogers type an opportunity
to be able to say goodbye and wrap up a
(01:47:39):
character of sorts.
Speaker 1 (01:47:41):
Right, this is the fortune this fall obviously, So that's
one of the things I know for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:47:48):
Ah heck, I'm I saw somebody but coming on Twitter
about it. Just curious to see how, you know, like
the Jason seeds after the Monica death is revealed, and
I am looking forward to that because I feel like
that is a uh you know much again with the
Drew scenes, like with Leslie's inability to be available give
it her various issues. Uh, those were seeds that definitely
(01:48:12):
were missed. Yeah, Jason, Monica and even Drew Amnica scenes.
Speaker 1 (01:48:16):
Yeah they did. I mean, we've been posting stuff online.
It's not looking at those things little snippets, but I
don't know, but I I will say, as we wrap
this up, and they said that almost one hundred people
watching this right now, thank you. I'm right now. I'm
enjoying it. I I'm in I'm enjoying the show right now,
and I know some folks aren't enjoying it and blah blah,
(01:48:36):
it's fine, but for me, I am enjoying it and
and a lot of people are being represented in the
Storyline's a great umbrella story. There's a people, there's there's
I mean, like I said, I mean portion of all
of them. They're all heavily involved in the storylines. They're
in the story. So everybody's doing something right now, which
is very rare. And it's like this, I like when
(01:48:58):
Umbelow stories were every body has seen everybody's doing they're
doing it. I think they think they're doing I think
they're doing it, and I actually appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (01:49:07):
It is nice. There's definitely like this whole Drew thing,
and then there's the Sidwell bit, and then there's what's
happening with Britt and everything over there, the WSB component.
I feel like all three of those are kind of
cooking at a good level, kind of intermixing in different ways.
So yeah, I feel like there's very rarely do you
you know, at least in this last week or so,
(01:49:27):
are you running across like a dud day where you're like, oh,
this is gonna be just an exposition dumb day or
something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:49:34):
We have those on The Restless every day, right kids. Uh,
that's it for today. We've done trials this show. I
gotta go. I got, I got, I got an air condition now,
so I feel good and here Frank changed my life
this week. But I'm hungry. I want to eat folks,
what's his name?
Speaker 3 (01:49:53):
But I.
Speaker 1 (01:49:55):
Wish that today eating so it comes from a bucket.
But yes, I mean, but I'm enjoying all that. I'm
enjoying the store. I'm enjoying the stories right now. So
right now I'm gaging your also props. Right now, I'm
enjoying this crafty story. Please continue it, do not crap
it out. Yes, please continue it, and right now it's
(01:50:18):

Speaker 1 (01:51:09):
On the corner of Burbank Boulevard. And and what's that?
What's that? Famous? Uh dry cleaners eat and something? Oh
my god, Eddie, it's a famous dry cleaners that I
think I have as pink And it's a statement. Their
bags are legendary. When they hold the clothes in, it's
(01:51:30):
like I'm thinking, I find I find in San's It's
it's in Burbank. Oh all right, it was Stephen Eadie.
But that's like that's a whole. That's somebody else, clearly, clearly,
and somebody that's somebody else. So yes, that's like, yes, folks,
And yes, Roger Howorth how about that built and Eddie's
(01:51:53):
that's what it is? Yes, you have seen them there.
They have the interesting bags and the place looks like
it's it's like a diner, but it's not a diner.
It's a dry layers.
Speaker 2 (01:52:01):
That's true. Looks like like a wedding chapel.
Speaker 1 (01:52:03):
Yeah, right, Yes, it's so crazy. I see it all
the time, thought it was so cool. I don't have
a nd the dry clean is good or not, but
I don't think that. But yes, before we go, we
got to announced. Yes, Roger Howarth, Tamera bron and Matt
Cony played Griffin are all coming to Young and the Restless.

The Restless Now they come over there.
Speaker 2 (01:52:29):

Speaker 3 (01:52:53):

I mean feeing him.
Speaker 2 (01:53:04):

Speaker 1 (01:53:07):

Free the other day and he was like, mm hmmm, yes,
my J. Freeman. Flynn is his name. He's not happy,
but that's how life works. But he's red a billion.
