(00:11):
Hi, welcome back to give usmore me Hi, Megan, i' word
mentally unstable this week? Yeah?Yeah? Anybody else feel like, I
don't know, the world is literallyfucking on fire everywhere you look? Or
is that just us? I'm like, what is happening to the internet?

(00:32):
Why is Hailey Bieber so threatened bySelena Gomez? Lest I don't even want
to talk about that, because, like, I feel like there's so much
more to this. I always feellike when it comes to celebrity beef,
that they'd be beef and just forjust for our benefit and for our entertainment
and keep their names in our meds. And I'm like, maybe texting,

(00:53):
you know, they'd be having fun. Not my Selena. Okay, she's
a sweet, sweet angel. OHcan't trust, but our makeup is supposed
to slay. I haven't tried it. No, I cannot tell a lie.
I cannot. But like, ifshe wanted to sponsor US, I
wouldn't say no Selena Rare beauty.Yeah, I mean, yes, Selena

(01:15):
Gomez will totally sponsor US. Imean it'd probably be easier to get her
to sponsor US than it was toget fucking Mattress Mick fucking Mattress. Mike,
Yeah, we don't watch you anymore. What the fuck Mattress? Mike
rude, very very rude, rude. So last week we talked about good

(01:38):
al Jeffrey Dahmer. This is partthree. In the last two parts,
obviously, I talked about his childhood, growing up and all that in the
first part, and in the secondpart we dove right on into the fantastic,
wonderful not at all traumatizing murders. They were very traumatizing. You didn't

(02:04):
grasp that. That was sarcasm.Oh, heavy on the sarcasm. So
I guess we'll just jump right oninto our fabulous, wonderful tail. It's
it's fabulous and wonderful because it's thelast part. Yes, yes, I'm
very sorry to everybody if you've madeit this far. I mean, I've

(02:28):
had a good time. I'm notgonna lie. I've had a good time.
But I hate that Jeffrey Dahmer. If I never hear his name again
for the rest of my whole entirelife, I won't be Yeah, exactly.
On June thirtieth, nineteen ninety one, Jeffrey went to Chicago to celebrate
Pride at the bus stop, hemet twenty year old Matt Turner. Matt

(02:51):
agreed to go to Milwaukee for Jeffreyto take modeling pictures of him. Jeffrey
drugged and dismembered Matt and put hishead and some of his organs in the
freezer. So it's Matt's head thatthey find heads. Yeah, and you
can actually you can find those photoson the internet. Unfortunately, just be

(03:15):
warned. On July fourth, nineteenninety one, Jeffrey met twenty three year
old Jeremiah Weinberger. Jeffrey took himback to his apartment. Jeffrey drugged Jeremiah
and drilled two holes into his skull. He then filled them with boiling water.
Jeremiah died two days later after this. Wait, sorry, the whole

(03:42):
time listening to that, I thoughtlike this guy was dead. So repeat
that place. He drugged Jeremiah andthen he drilled two holes into the top
of his head like he did withconorak, and then he poured boiling water
into the holes he drilled. Unfortunately, this didn't kill him, so Jeremiah

(04:05):
lived for two days after this. That poor guy, Jesus Christ, I
know. Yeah, that's first ofall, I'm not gonna like shivers down
my back boiling water, like that'sa form of fucking torture. Straight as
soon as he even looked at thedrill and was like, you know what

(04:26):
I'm gonna do? You know whatsounds like a smart idea? No,
Jeffrey, No, it doesn't.Jeffrey put Jeremiah's head in the freezer,
and he placed the body in ableach solution in the bath. On July
fifteenth, nineteen ninety one, solike eleven days later, Jeffrey met twenty

(04:47):
four year old Oliver Lacy. Usinghis usual ruse, Oliver went back to
Jeffrey's apartment. Here, he druggedand murdered Oliver. Jeffrey called his work
to ask for a day off, which he was planning to use to dispose
of Oliver's body. Jeffrey would oftendo this, which is why he was

(05:08):
then fired. Immediately, Jeffrey putOliver's body in the freezer, and on
July nineteenth, nineteen ninety one,Jeffrey invited twenty five year old Joseph Bradhoft
over to his apartment. Jeffrey thendrugged and strangled Joseph to death. Jeffrey
just left Joseph's body on his bedwith a sheet over him for two days.

(05:32):
By July twenty first, Jeffrey foundJoseph's body covered in maggots on the
bed. Jeffrey put Joseph's head inthe freezer and the body in the fifty
seven gallon barrel that stayed in thecorner of his bedroom. So that had
like a solution of some kind init, and he put the body in

(05:54):
there. First of all, it'sJuly, like the heat. Yeah,
the smell, he just the smell, and he just left the body there.
He's just drinking himself to the pointwhere he can't even he's not registering
it. No. On July twentysecond, nineteen ninety one, Jeffrey went

(06:16):
out and got drunk, speaking ofalcoholism. He was wandering the town looking
for his next victim. He thenmet three men at a bar. Jeffrey
offered them one hundred dollars to goback to his apartment to let Jeffrey take
some pictures of them. Only oneof them said yes. That was thirty
two year old Tracy Edwards. Tracyimmediately felt uncomfortable when he entered Jeffrey's apartment.

(06:42):
He noted that there was an alarmsystem locks on the inside and the
outside of the door. He alsonoticed that despite the apartment looking tidy,
there was an unforgetting smell of rotten, of something rotten. There were several
boxes of hydrochloric acid, and TheExorcist three was playing in the background.

(07:02):
Oh, that makes everything so muchworse. I've never seen the Exorcist three,
but that was apparently his favorite movie. There's a lot of Exorcist movies.
Are you not fucking shit in meright now? So let me check
this out. How did you gotthat there are different people that are exercised

(07:23):
exercise demons? Okay, let mesee. They're nowhere near as good as
the first original Exorcist movie. Imean that movie was into Oh please,
this man has like yellow eyes.He does, no, Apparently Jeffrey Dahmer
owned the yellow contacts. No,okay, well, you know how it

(07:48):
makes sense for Jeffrey Dahmer because thismovie is stupid and so is he.
I mean, no latter was told. Okay. Leaving on moving on,
Jeffrey got Tracy to look at thefish tank that was in the living room,
and while his back was turned,Jeffrey placed handcuffs around Tracy's wrist.

(08:11):
Tracy like he never got the handcuffslike fully on Tracy, because as soon
as he clicked the first arm,Tracy was like, what the fuck is
that? What are you doing?Yeah, So Tracy naturally questioned Jeffrey,
to which Jeffrey responded, quote,I won't hurt you if you let me
handcuff you and take some pictures.Jeffrey then pulled out a large knife.

(08:37):
Tracy did what Jeffrey like wanted andasked of him. He was just like
sure thing. He took off hisshirt and they sat on the bed and
they watched The Exorcist three. Jeffreythen lay on Tracy to listen to his
heartbeat. Jeffrey was not concentrated onTracy the way that he was with his

(09:00):
other victims, Like he was like, he's probably wasted, and like wasn't
as with it as he normally wouldbe for his attacks. Yeah. While
Jeffrey was out in the kitchen gettinghimself another beer, Tracy was able to
loosen the handcuffs and he was actuallyable to escape the apartment. Jeffrey had
forgotten to lock the front door properly, so Tracy was just able to run

(09:24):
at the door and then run ontothe street. Tracy kept running for like
miles for blocks until he came acrossuntil he came across two officers, Ralph
Muller and Robert Roth, at abouteleven thirty pm. The first thing police
noticed was that Tracy was shirtless andhad handcuffs around his wrists. Tracy asked

(09:48):
if they could unlock the handcuffs forhim, but their key wasn't the correct
one. Tracy reluctantly agreed to bringthe officers to Jeffrey's apartment so that they
could get the key of the handcuffsoff him. When Jeffrey answered the door
to the officers, he admitted hedid put the handcuffs on Tracy, but

(10:11):
he didn't really have an explanation asto why he'd done it, because clearly
Tracy was there. And Tracy waslike, I didn't want this, Like
I didn't ask him to put thehandcuffs on me, Like this isn't consensual,
this isn't like a gay thing.Yeah, and we weren't even like
having any sort of romantic thing. And Jeffrey was just like, yeah,
I put the handcuffs on him.Why you ask for funzies. Yeah pretty

(10:39):
much was just like, yeah, funzies like good terms. Jeffrey invited the
officers into his apartment. Stupidly.Rolph Muller began having a look around the
apartment when he saw the knife onthe bedside locker. Officer Muller then came
across the polaroids that Jeffrey had takenof all of his victims. Now,

(11:03):
at first he didn't cop what theywere until he kind of looked a bit
closer, and then he realized that, like, these weren't like staged photos
of people who like posed, theywere photos of dead bodies. Yeah,
I'm sure that really took them bysurprise, because you don't look at Jeffrey

(11:24):
Dammer and think, yeah, youkill people and dismember them and eat them,
like to look at them. Youjust don't think that he is like
a fucking serial killer. I know, like it's like, what does the
serial killer look like? One thousandpercent he would be the least person you
would suspect he looks like that guyfrom him you know that movie The Vote

(11:46):
for Pedro. No, he doesnot look like Napoleon Dynamite, Leon Dynamite.
I fucking love that movie. Whywould you say that? Do you
know the food? But is it? God? I always wondered for years

(12:09):
where the vote for Pedro t shirtscame from, because back in the day,
if you were a scene or emokid, you had a vote for
Pedro T shirt. And I didn'tknow what it's like, Oh my god,
fake, I am a fake?Oh do you want to hear something
so embarrassing? He always so.Last year when we were on our holidays

(12:31):
in Portugal, we were coming backthrough the airport and I had a Kiss
T shirt on and did someone askyou to name three songs? As I
walked up to, you know, passport control m he started playing a kiss
song on his phone. The guyin Passport control like he wasn't He was

(12:52):
super nice and he was like yeahand I was like yeah, and he
was like do you not know thissong? And I was like no,
and then it was just really awkwardtill he like confirmed my passport and I
had to get out of there. And then Nile was like realize what he
was playing? And I was likea CDC because I thought I was wearing

(13:13):
an acc top Like it was ohgod, yeah, that is embarrassing.
Mega, Oh my queed, Iknow, and I am like the biggest
gatekeeper. If I see somebody witha Paramore T shirt on or something,
I'm like, name three songs, what's Haleywood? Take off his name?
Take it off, give it tome, hand it over, Hand it
over right. Now. You maybe wearing an X access, but I

(13:37):
don't care. I will use itas a headband for my heatless girls.
Okay, gil very much anyway. But basically that is that is like Jeffrey.

(13:58):
That's what Jeffrey is. And sohe like originally, like when he
saw the photos, he kind ofjust thought like that it was like a
weird modeling thing. And then itwasn't until he kind of zoned in on
them properly that he was like, wait, no, these are of like
corpses. Officer Muller called in OfficerWrath in to show him the pope to

(14:24):
show him the pictures, stating thatthese were of real corpses. Jeffrey,
in that moment, decided, fuck, I need to flee the scene because
they found my fucking my pictures. It wouldn't have been as soon as they
walked in and decided to go intoyour bedroom. No all right, no,

(14:45):
no, so he decided to tryand flee. When he overheard one
of the officers say cuff him,he was like, ah, fucking shit.
The two officers had to rest oldJeffrey to the ground to get the
handcuffs on him, but they did. Officer Roth kept Jeffrey on the ground

(15:07):
while Officer Muller investigated the rest ofthe apartment. Officer Muller found the severed
head in the fridge. Jeffrey lookedup at the two officers and said,
quote, for what I did,I should be dead. Oh my god,
crimea river, Jeffrey. It's likea bro, honey, pal listen

(15:31):
right, just listen. You're notwrong, but I'm not buying it.
You're just saying that. So they'llbe like, oh no, I don't
see that pearl. So we're justgonna take a quick ad break in my
back. We're back from the head. Did you enjoy it? Did you
listen to it? Don't lie?Did you skip the ad? Was it
something fun? We know you skippedit? Okay, I skip it.

(15:56):
Fine. So police then arrived atJeffrey's apartment to start a proper investigation.
They found a total of seven skulls, two human hearts, a portion of
arm muscle, an entire torso,a bag of organs, two entire skeletons,

(16:18):
a pair of severed hands, twosevered penises, a mummified scalp,
dismembered torsos in the fifty seven gallondrum, and seventy four polaroids of all
of Jeffrey's victims. That's so sick, But it also begs the question,
like, where the fuck was hekeeping all of this stuff? Begs to

(16:41):
question how no one thought like helived in an apartment building. How did
nobody And I know people questioned thesmell, all right, but nobody investigated
it. And I mean, I'msure they thought it was like sewage or

(17:02):
something like that. Oh, helike came up with like different stories and
stuff, But like, how didnobody hear anything? I mean anything?
Yeah, that's another thing. Itcould be that they genuinely didn't hear,
or that they were kind of gottento a point where they were used to
hearing other noises. Maybe the wallswere always thin, so like, if

(17:26):
he's paying the excesses three, I'msure they're hearing terrible dialogue throughout anyway,
So I was screaming, probably youknow, it's just a part of the
movie at this stage. It naturallydidn't take long for the media and the
public to start gathering outside of theapartment block, because people love to watch

(17:47):
a car crash. Yep. Jeffreywas taken down to the police department and
was questioned by Detective Kennedy, PatrickKennedy and Dennis Murphy. Jeffrey wave Dennis
Murphy. The two Patrick Kennedy andDennis Murphy sound like the two biggest Irish
heads I have ever heard. Jeffreywaived his right to have a lawyer present.

(18:12):
During the many interviews that took place, Jeffrey stated that he wanted to
confess to the crimes of quote thishorror and it only makes sense I do
everything to put an end to it. Oh suck my fucking balls, Jeffrey.
On July twenty fifth, nineteen ninetyone, Jeffrey was charged with four

(18:33):
counts of first degree murder, andthen by August he was charged with a
further eleven counts. Jeffrey was alsocharged by the authorities in Ohio for the
murder of Stephen Hicks. Oh that'sgood, It is good. Jeffrey was
not charged for the murder of StephenToomey, as the district attorney was only

(18:57):
bringing charges where murder could be provenbeyond reasonable doubt. And they never found
any inkling of Steven's body. That'sso so sad, It is so sad.
But all they had to go onwas Jeffrey's version of events, was
Jeffrey's story, and like, Iknow, like he was forthcoming with evidence

(19:22):
and stuff like that, but atthe same time he was a serial killer,
Like how much could you trust hisstory? Yeah? Very true.
The crime is like like the familyand that are like, you know,
like Jeffrey Dahmer killed. Yeah,it's him, it's attributed to him,
but there's just no evidence. Sounfortunately, the district attorney was like no,

(19:47):
because like that, one case likethat, one victim could just completely
destroy our trial. And I guessit was just more important to get him,
which I think kind of is it'salmost more important. Well, if
he's confessing and he's confessed to thismurder, what is he saying in court?

(20:10):
He's obviously not going but not guilty. He goes in sanny does he
Yeah, he goes with insanity.Oh okay, okay, okay. So
it was a case of like,no, we much prefer to just nab
him behind bars and then be likeyou did this, I get it,
like which I understand. I knowit's probably slightly upsetting for the family at

(20:33):
the time because it was probably like, put what about our boy? Yeah,
I mean you still want justice foryour your family member, your son,
your brother. You wanted his nameto be to be said. On
January thirteenth, nineteen ninety two,Jeffrey pleaded guilty but insane to fifteen pounds
of murder. Jeffrey's trial started onJanuary thirtieth, nineteen ninety two. The

(20:56):
trial was to prove whether Geffrey waslegally sane and aware of his actions at
the time of his murders. Theprosecution argued that any disorders Jeffrey may have
suffered from did not stop him fromappreciating the crimes he committed. The defense

(21:17):
tried to argue that Jeffrey was drivenby obsession and was unable to stop himself
due to the mental illnesses that hehad been suffering with undiagnosed Fred Berlin,
an expert psychiatrist. Psychiatrist, testifiedthat Jeffrey was unable to control his behavior
at the time of the crimes dueto paraphilia. Another psychiatrist, Judith Becker,

(21:42):
diagnosed Jeffrey with necrophilia. Carl VallStorm or wall Storm I'm not Ture
diagnosed Jeffrey with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, alcohol dependence, and
psychotic disorders. On February eighth, nineteen ninety two, Fred Fustall testified for

(22:07):
the prosecution, and he claimed thatat the time of the murders, Jeffrey
had no mental illnesses. He saidthat Jeffrey was calculated and cunning and was
able to tell from right and wrong. Park Deets, a forensic psychiatrist,
testified that Jeffrey quote went to greatlengths to be alone with his victims and

(22:32):
to have no witnesses. He claimedthat quote, if he had an impulse
to kill or a compulsion to kill, he wouldn't have to drink alcohol to
overcome it. He only has todrink alcohol to overcome it because he is
inhibited against killing. He done thecrime. Don't come at me with your

(22:56):
fancy words. So that's what thisguy is saying that if Jeffrey did have
these compulsions, that the other psychiatristsand doctors were claiming, then why does
he need to drink to help himease the like, to help ease the

(23:21):
guilt of what he's done. Like, he wouldn't need to drink. He
wouldn't be so he wouldn't be sodependent on alcohol to help commit these crimes
and to help forget about these crimes. If it was a compulsion, or
if it was like a mental illness, he wouldn't need that. He'd just
go off and he'd do it,and then he'd come back, and then

(23:42):
he'd wake up the next morning andhe more than likely would have a vague
memory of doing it. I see, all right, I get it.
I just find it funny as well. Have he has literally all of the
philias. Yeah, and then he'slike, DPD DP Do you mean that's

(24:02):
a delivery service name? That's thefucking like ups in art like my brain,
I swear to God, my brain. H On February fourteenth, nineteen
ninety two, both sides gave theirclosing arguments. The jury deliberated for five
hours before deciding that Jeffrey was guiltyand was saying. The court then heard

(24:30):
impact statements from the families of Jeffrey'svictims. Jeffrey then wrote out on an
apology quote, your honor, itis now over. This has never been
a case of trying to get free. I didn't ever want freedom. Frankly,
I wanted death for myself. Thiswas a case to tell the world

(24:53):
that I did what I did,but not for reasons of hate. I
hated no one. I knew Iwas sick or evil or both. Now
I believe I was sick. Thedoctors have told me about my sickness,
and now I have some peace.I know how much harm I've caused.
Thank God, there will be nomore harm I can do. I believe

(25:18):
that only the Lord Jesus Christ cansave me from my sins. I know
my time in prison will be terrible, but I deserve what I get because
of what I've done. Thank you, your honor, and I am prepared
for your sentence, which I askfor no consideration. Was he trying to
do like reverse psychology? Probably fuckingwas like, no, no, judge,

(25:45):
no give me more years. Goon, I deserve I'm such a
bad person. Yeah, literally,And he's hoping the judge is gonna be
like, oh, oh, nowI feel oh, you know, he's
learned his lesson. You're just goinghome now. I will say that that

(26:07):
is partly because his dad wrote aletter when he was arrested for um touching
up little kids like a fucking freakthat he is. That's another one of
its philias. He's a pedophilia.Oh it's not pedophilia. He's a pedophile,
but he's a pedophilia. His dadwrote a letter being like, prison

(26:36):
isn't going to help him, likeI can help him and help It worked,
and so I think Jeffrey thought thisletter was going to like work.
But hunbun, you murder. You'reon fifteen counts of murder. Yeah.
Sure, And I love the wayhe brings and obviously yeah, this is

(26:57):
in no way shape form aimed atany religious groups. I myself, I'm
a Catholic, but he's like theLord Jesus Christ can only save me from
mass scenes. Where was Jesus whenyou needed a most Jeffrey, Jeffrey,
you wouldn't go to church with yourfucking grandmother, like, but now all

(27:18):
of a sudden, you need helpand you're reaching it. Jesus Lord,
Please, Okay, I didn't meanto murder all those men you know,
an accident. I think clipped andfell, and next thing you know,
I drugged them and murdered them anddismembered them and then fried up their fucking

(27:44):
flesh and edit. But that wasall because I just tripped and fell.
You know how it goes Jesus, right, I mean, you get it.
You're you're a guy. Right,I've been there. Yeah, you've
been there. But you wanted todo that to Judas. Huh. If
I was a round back then,Jesus, that would have done that for
you. Jeffrey was sentenced to fifteenconsecutive life terms, which is a total

(28:10):
of nine hundred and fifty seven years. Ah, that's nothing but a drop
in the ocean. I mean abit light there, weren't you weren't Judge?
I mean he deserved every second ofit and more. There is no
death penalty there at this time inpresent. It's the death penalty was gone,

(28:36):
so he could only serve light sentences. Yeah, okay, which you
know yeah yep. Lionel requested onefinal meeting with his son before he was
sent to prison, and the judgegranted the meeting of ten minutes in private.
His dad was like, can Ijust please like seeing my son just

(28:59):
before, like just me and himbefore he goes off to prison. Like
I have so many fucking questions andlike things that I need to say to
him. And the judge was like, you know what, yeah, you
can have ten minutes alone. JustI think it was well in the TV
program it's him, the wife andJeffrey, so I don't like, but

(29:21):
basically they got ten minutes alone together, like without a guard or a lawyer
or anything present. And I dolike in the aspects of Linel, like
he knew his son had problems, and he tried in his head like all
he could think of, like hehelped him when it came when it came

(29:42):
to like sentences and being arrested instuff, and he tried to get him
help with his drinking, and hesent him to his grandmother's house to try
and see if that would help him, and helped him get into college and
help him get into the navy. And it was just a bit like how
did this happen? And I'd sayit was like the shortest but longest ten

(30:06):
minutes of his life at the sametime. But it's also astounding to me
because I wonder how many other peoplewould have asked for this. How many
times has this been granted? Orwas this just special case because it's Jeffrey
Dahmer and it's his dad, andit's making a thing up in the news,
And no, I've kind of feelfor this kid because he's had so
many of these diagnoses and how manyof the people that go in on similar

(30:30):
charges or even minor like love chargesand stuff that don't get as oh one
thousand percent. Like, I'm sureit was very much influenced by the media
presence and his diagnosis. And Imean, yeah, I just I mean,

(30:51):
it's a nice thing to do.I'm not against doing it, but
like, if you've got to doit for one, yeah, for non
violent criminals, I feel like, you know, the minor drug charge,
you shouldn't even be in prison.Nobody should be in prison for cannabis or
marijuana. Okay, both that.I'm just saying my piece. That's it,
that's done, But yeah, youcould be on so much worse of

(31:15):
a drug li Tuly. Jeffrey wasthen sent to Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage.
Then, on May one, nineteenninety two, Jeffrey was found guilty
of the murder of Stephen Hicks, and he was given his sixteenth life sentence.
The first year of Jeffrey's sentence wasspent in solitary due to concerns about

(31:37):
his safety because we all know whathappens to prisoners who attack and kill and
rape younger boys. So younger peoplelike teenagers and underage and it's like a
known thing and so look, it'slike annoying. But at the same time,

(32:05):
it's not up to us who getsto die, do you know what
I mean? And yeah, youcan't. We can't just put him in
there with everybody because they're all justgoing to fucking kill this guy. Yeah,
it's like, yeah, but nobody, it's not up to anybody to
kill him, do you know,Like we don't have a death sentence in
this state, like, so hedoesn't get murdered. This part is sickening.

(32:30):
Jeffrey soon began receiving fan mail, with some people even sending him money.
It's the same. It's called Ithink hyperstephilia. Someone also created like
a comic about him, and theylike would send it to him. Oh

(32:51):
brilliant, that's what you should do. Yeah, yep. After a year
in solitary. He was released toa less secure unit, and he was
given two hours of daily work cleaningthe toilet block. Jeffrey became a born
again Christian, and on May tenth, nineteen ninety four, Jeffrey was baptized.

(33:13):
This is the same day that JohnWayne Gacy was executed. That's really
interesting. You know what else Ifind super interesting about this whole case.
It's Jeffrey is born in May,and so many of his crimes take place
in May, and then he getschristened again in May. A lot happens
in May, and it's like anomen for him or something. M very

(33:37):
very weird. So it's an interestingtidbit that he is baptized the same day
that John Wayne Gacy is executed, because I do and I don't see the
similarities, but Jeffrey was talked aboutas if he was trying to be John
Wayne Gacy, and John Wayne Gacywas like, who the fuck is this

(33:57):
kid trying to be me? Scarletfor all of them? Yeah, like
Jeffrey, Like John Wayne Gacy waslike, I don't know who the fuck
Jeffrey Dahmer is like, no,Like what, I'm the villain. I'm
the villain. Don't be fooled bythe rocks that I got. I'm still
Gazy Gacy on the block, okayon the block, And they weren't even

(34:22):
in the same state, so Idon't know why he was concerned. Well,
Dahmer has a fucking comic about him. What does Gasy have? Pogo
his own plan. He used topaint his own pictures embarrassing, embarrassing.
Nobody wants that. On July third, nineteen ninety four, another on another
inmate Osvaldo Valdo Dorothy not Dorothy Dorothy, okay in Casey, just in Casey

(34:52):
were like me, why are yousaying it like that? He tried to
kill Jeffrey by cutting his throat witha razor. However, it was only
a superficial wound and Jeffrey was fine. It's just a flesh wound. So
it's rumored that Jeffrey would turn hismashed potatoes into the shape of people,

(35:14):
and he like so, you know, the way back in, way back
in the first episode, I talkedabout how he used to do a damer
for all of his high school friendsand they all loved it because they were
all fucking fourteen. While he basicallywas doing that in prison, but this

(35:35):
is prison, so it didn't godown well. Like he becomes a born
again Christian and all of this jazz. But it's reported that he used to
like make jokes about his crimes andstuff, and like he'd turn his mashed
potatoes like he'd mold them into theshape of like people and then be like
I'm eating like so and so orwhatever, and like it really like got

(36:01):
on a lot of inmates nerves becausethey were like, you fucking killed like
young boys. Yeah, jokes aboutit, yeah, And then he'd like
go on and he'd do like aTV interview and he'd be real like I
just don't know what's wrong with me, and you know so many things wrong

(36:22):
with you, Jeffrey. So likeI pissed a lot of inmates off because
he'd be in the prison like makingjokes, and then he'd go out and
he'd do an interview and he'd beall like, whoe with me? It's
like, Jeffrey Hunt, you're feelingnobody. Yes to make his own entertainment

(36:42):
now because he's in prison where theydon't have the Exorcist three, He's requested
in a lot of times. Itkeeps getting denied, I wonder why.
On the morning of November twenty eighth, nineteen ninety four, Jeffrey was assigned
his work detail along with two fellowinmates, Jesse Anderson and Christopher Scarver.

(37:04):
They were to clean the Jim showersand they were left unsupervised for approximately twenty
minutes. At eight ten am,Jeffrey was found on the floor, badly
beaten with extreme head trauma. Christopher'sScaver had beaten Jeffrey with a metal bar
that he had also murdered Jesse Andersonwith. Christopher told police that he had

(37:30):
attacked Jeffrey first and then he wentin and killed Jesse. He then walked
back to his cell and he waitedfor officers to show up. He said
that quote, God told me todo it. Jeffrey Dahmer and Jesse Anderson
are dead. What was Do weknow Jesse Anderson's crime? Why did he
decide to kill him too? Idon't fully know why he decided to also

(37:53):
kill Jesse Anderson. In nineteen ninetytwo, Jesse Anderson killed his wife by
stabbing her in the face and headfive times. He then stabbed himself in
the chest, but he survived fourtimes. But he survived. His wife
went into a coma but tragically diedtwo days later. Oh and then he

(38:14):
blamed two black men of course,Oh yep, and Christopher Scaber was black.
So so it's theorized that they purposelyleft Christopher in there with Jeffrey and
Jesse because they wanted Jeffrey and Jessedead. He's not totally out of the

(38:34):
realm. No, Jeffrey died anhour after arriving at the hospital, so
he actually didn't die upon impact, and he was killed with a bear with
the jim bar, which if youremember Stephen Hicks, Oh my, I
am a firm believer in that karmacomes back around. Oh big time.

(38:59):
What goes around goes around comes allthe way. We're singing so much.
Well, we didn't have music ourin the beginning, so no, ironically,
just Timber released that song. Butit's actually reported that he's the one
that cheated on Britney Spears. Shecheated on him. No, he said,

(39:23):
the narrative came out that she cheatedon him, and he just let
the narrative go. He was justlike, yeah, fuck it, yeah,
let that narrative be the one.And he had told everybody that he
had taken her virginity as well.Yep. He was like, that's like
been one of the biggest regrets thatI don't let that narrative carry on when
I so easily could of, like, and he was like knife fed into

(39:44):
it. Like he released the musicvideo for crimea River. Oh and it
is Britney Spears in that. Yeah, like he basically yeah. He was
like, I, like, mymanager and my team basically like, is
shitty what he'd done. But hewas like, I take full responsibility.
But he was like I let themall just let talk me into doing it.

(40:05):
And I just was like, yeah, fuck it, like career and
no, where's your career, misterTimberlake, where is it? Because I
can't remember the last time you releaseda good song. He gives me like
Gary Barlow vibes now literally and it'slike, um, nobody wants to be
Gary Barlow. Thank you for noteven gar Gary Barlow is not that unattractive,

(40:30):
but he's not, you know,he isn't unattractive, but it's the
way he goes on. It's hegoes on like Robbie Williams, but he's
yeah, and it's like no,but you're not Robbie Williams. But no,
but I also hate Robbie Williams. You know. It's I like,
don't like the members of Take Thatalone. Oh wait, were they in

(40:54):
that band together? Yeah? Yeah, that Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow from
Take That to Guess Megan? Oh, you know, there's only like two
years? Is there two years betweenus? I'm twenty six this year,

(41:14):
so there's like two and a bityears, like two and a half years
between us. That's all. That'snot that much. Okay, Well,
when did fucking Take That disband?Megan? They disbanded and then got back
together without Robbie Williams. It wasthe whole imagine have a little patious Oh

(41:39):
oh no, you know what,No, teenagers were left distraught in nineteen
ninety five when Robbie Williams famously quitTake That. So he quit you know
you left, you don't get Yeah? But then william but then yeah yeah
no. And then they came back, and like they came back in like
twenty ten or something. I feellike I remember them coming back. I

(42:01):
feel like I remember their at theiralbum when they came back, they sang
the song for Stardust and it's likeone of my all time favorite movies.
If you tell me you hadn't someStardust, I don't know, I don't.
I don't know what you're talking about. You live this guy? Oh

(42:23):
I know? Yeah, Okay,I know the song, but I don't
know the movie. Yeah, youand me, we can right on a
start. If you stay with me, Ga, we can rue god o
sorry to everybody's ear drums. No, that's like Sunday morning cleaning music that

(42:45):
you wake up and your mom isplaying that, or The Beautiful South or
Shania Twain. You're like, oh, I know, I'm gonna be cleaning
windows today. That's like me though, like and maybe twenty eight but partial
to a bit oft. Take thatAbba oh abba abba. You can get

(43:07):
down and dirty with Yeah, mygod. You know who I was listening
to the other day and I didn'trealize I knew so much of his music?
Tom Jones, What's new? PussyCat Whoa? There's that, There's
sex bomb, there was She's aLady Whoa? And then there was another

(43:30):
one third Tom Jones three you Oh, I'm sorry, sorry, sir.
Tom Jones. Well does go fora quick eyebreak and then we'll continue with
the Jeffrey Tommers. Yeah, sosorry, Okay, see you in a
second. Hey guys, Megan hereand I just wanted to tell you about

(43:50):
a show called That So Fucked Uppresents the Black Dahlia Breakdown. I get
to sit with the host of That'sSo Fucked Up, Ashley Richers, as
we delve into the murder of ElizabethShort and the person who likely killed her,
George Hotel. Hotel was a highlyregarded doctor who allegedly raped and murdered
multiple women with an IQ one pointhigher than Einstein's. To hear more about

(44:12):
this, head on over to That'sSo Fucked Up anywhere that you can get
your podcasts talking about late whoa,Oh my god. I literally was just
singing that. No stop, becauseif I listen back to this recording,

(44:34):
we're both singing at the same time. I will die. That will be
amazing. So we're back from herad break and we're back from her Tom
Jones ing that was that was good. I'm Tom Jones and Tom Jones and

(44:55):
here, brother, you got somethingon you. You got a step bomb
on you got a sex bomb inthe other So he Jeffrey didn't actually die
straight away. He died after anhour after he arrived at the hospital,
so like they tried to save himbut were very unsuccessful. Jeffrey's parents fought

(45:15):
over whether Jeffrey's brain should be donatedto science or not. It was Jeffrey's
mother that wanted to donate the brainto science, but Lionel disagreed, as
Jeffrey wanted to be cremated. Itwas in his will okay fair. In
September nineteen ninety five, Jeffrey wascremated and the ashes were split between his

(45:37):
parents and Jeffrey's parents, Lionel andJoyce, actually went to trial over what
to do with his brain. Eventually, Lionel won the court case and Jeffrey's
brain was then cremated in December nineteennineteen ninety five. The Oxford apartments were

(46:00):
demolished in November nineteen ninety two,and the site is still currently just a
vacant lot. People fought to turnit into a memorial park for the victims,
but in the what are they inAmerica? It's like a county council
over here kind of kind of yeah, like the town government, city,

(46:23):
city council, like they have mayorsand ship Yeah, yes, they're like
city council. They didn't really theydidn't want to because they didn't want to
draw attention to the area because itwasn't already a per area, like it
wasn't a good area to begin with, and then they were like, we

(46:43):
don't want to highlight the fact thatthen murders also happened here. You don't
have to make it like you couldput it a beautiful park there and then
have a plaque there for them. They literally but governments, you know,
they're assaults. Jeffrey's belongings were awardedto the victims families. They were to

(47:07):
be auctioned off, and the moneywas then to be split between the families.
Joseph Zilber, a local real estatedeveloper, bought everything for four hundred
and seven ties in two hundred andtwenty five dollars and then destroyed everything as
he felt that the families had beenthrough enough without people trying to buy Jeffrey

(47:29):
dah memorabilia. Did they get moneyfrom that, yeah, So he bought
it all for the four hundred andseven ties in two hundred and twenty five
dollars. Oh, yes, andthen that was divided between all the families.
My mats was not mathing. Hebasically was like, these family have
been through enough without random ass peopletrying to buy memorabilia of Jeffrey Dahmer,

(47:59):
like without trying to be like Iown Jeffrey Dahmer's fucking front door or you
know, like yeah. He waslike, what, like people don't need
that, Like why would like no, So he bought it all and then
he destroyed it all. In nineteenninety four, Lionel released a book,

(48:19):
A Father's Story, and he donateda portion of the earnings to the families
of the victims. Two families ofthe victims sued Lionel for using their names
without permission. Then the family ofStephen Hicks sued Lionel for wrongful death.
Did they win? I actually don'tknow if they want or not. I

(48:45):
didn't. All I know is thatthey sued. They that they sued him.
I'm not like obviously, like JeffreyDahmer is absolutely a fucking monstrous asshole,
But Lionel also lost a son,I know, not to the same
pascity. Yeah, but he alsolost a son in this, and like

(49:07):
suing him isn't going to do anything. It's not to me. That's no,
it's not to me. That's notany good, Like you're just misplacing
your anger. The suit alleged thatthe Dammer's family should have been aware that
their son slash stepson was quote deviantand destined to cause injury and death to
others. The family was seeking afifty million dollars payout, and according to

(49:30):
the Daily Kent Stater, the courtsruled in the favor of the plaintiffs.
The ament that was awarded to themwas not disclosed. But now Lionel is
considering suing Netflix. He is consideringsuing Netflix, but so are some of
the family members. Yeah, I'mlike, do it? Do it?

(49:52):
Netflix are a massive corporation. Theyknow what they should have done. They
should have gone to you first.One. I see, this is the
difference, Right, Lionel wrote abook, and should he have wrote a
book, probably not. He donateda portion, probably not as much as
he should have, But he don'tdonated a portion of his earnings from that
book two families. I know hedid, but he didn't get permission.

(50:15):
And I get that. It's likein my I'm kind of like like,
look, listen, he already donatedsome money, Like is that you know?
But I get it. I doget it. He did it without
their consent Netflix. He's just onesingle man like that just decided to write

(50:37):
a book one day to help himprobably fucking grieve through this horrible, monstrous
thing that he experienced. And Iknow that the families also experienced a monstrous
horrible thing to a way, likeway more of an extent, but like
you know, he was like itwas probably helping mechanism. Netflix are a
giant ass corporation and have people todo this, like have people to go

(51:04):
out and get consent for this shit, and they didn't even bother their fucking
hole And you're like what when itcame to Netflix? And why I was
kind of against watching the documentary wasthe reason. That was the reason why,
Like I had seen the families onTwitter and like one of them had
posted like a photo of what shehad been wearing in court that day,

(51:28):
and then what they depicted her asin that moment scene in the documentary court
scenes specifically where so on point likeso on point that it was crazy.
Yeah, no, Like they foundan actress that looked so much like the

(51:49):
actual sister of the victim. Shethey got her eightfit like so correct,
like fucking so so, like afucking like costume designer went out and made
that for one thousand percent sure becauseit was like tuity. And then they
had her literally copy. It waslike copy and paste, like what she

(52:15):
said and how she acted in thatcourtroom. Now it was like a big,
big moment in the trial when ithappened. It was all over,
like all over media coverage when ithappened, like Netflix and Ryan Murphy should
have known better and should have donebetter, agreed. Jeffrey's mother, Joyce,

(52:39):
died of cancer on November twenty seventh, two thousand and Jeffrey's brother changed
his name. Yeah, his namewas David Dahmer. He no longer exists.
You can't find him. He didnot want to ever or just he

(53:00):
didn't want to be associated with Jeffreyever ever again. And he didn't want
to be associated with Lionel either.I don't think I get it. You
would like if that was my family, Yeah, I would want to cut
off from everyone. To me theending, it's like he very much did
get his karma, but at thesame breath, I feel like there was

(53:23):
a lot of like misplaced anger, but then there was also a lot of
Lionel did shit that he shouldn't havedone, but it kind of I just
feel like it was just a lotof there's a lot going on, and
for anybody involved in the aftermath ofwhat Jeffrey did, there's no handbook no

(53:44):
to dealing with any of this. You're not told what you should and shouldn't
do, and people everybody grieves sodifferently, so differently. So it's like,
I genuinely do hope that the familiesand I and Lionel is well.
Sue Jeffrey, Sue Netflix, andRyan Murphy. Yeah, I will say

(54:05):
though Evan Peters is like all kindsof fucked up from playing Jeffrey Dahmer.
He said it. He said thatit was very difficult and very exhausting becoming
Jeffrey Dahmer for that TV show andlike living and breathing his life, and

(54:30):
like he was like I had toget like he's an actor. He was
like I had to like get intolike what was his mindset throughout all this
house? You know, like,m what brought him to these moments is
what actors do when they're playing people, and he was like, it was
it was rough, it was fun. Yeah. Um, I like him

(54:53):
as an actor. I will sayI did find it good, like to
watch and stuff. It's not it'snot accurate um in parts obviously for entertainment
purposes. M hmm. But umthe documentary that the tapes are interesting.

(55:15):
It's it's interesting to hear him talkabout what he done. Um. He
talks about it so kind of likeblase almost like yeah, like I just
done it. Yeah, I justdone it. It's just like that's what
I don't those things didn't freak out. He was absolutely, But it's I

(55:43):
always I don't know about you,but personally I always find it really interesting
listen listening to serial killers talk abouttheir crimes, so like, yeah,
I just done it, like amatter of fact. Yeah, Like I'm
always like, how do you justtalk about that? Is if it's nothing.
M hmm. I know we didit, guys, we survived Jeffrey

(56:12):
Dahmer. It's not getting easier.Meganize a shit case and then I have
another shit case. My case comingup is um one that I have been
working on for so fucking long, and it's like one of those cases that
I could tell you all about righthere, right now, and I could

(56:36):
give you the the outline, butwhen it comes to like but I want
to when it comes to the dates, and it's like overpowering. Yeah.
And so because I knew this case, I found it really, like very
difficult to actually sit down and writeit. And I've had such writers block

(56:58):
on it for like a year, but I'm kicking myself off the boat and
i gotta do it. So Ireally hope you enjoyed the episode, and
I really hope you enjoyed the threeparts. Three parts I am. I
hope I wasn't too much of ablobbering mess because it's I've had this case
done for a while, for afew months, but it's I don't know,

(57:22):
It's like it was one of thosecases that I like, let consume
consume me, and I don't knowwhy I did, but I did.
Yeah, I get you. Um, I did the same with Golden State,
like I let that consume me.And oh I remember with Golden State,

(57:45):
like you were having dreams about itand if I like, let that
consume me so much? And Ireally should love if you really liked this
episode and you've already listened to partone and two, which I hope you've
already listened to part one or twobecause otherwise spoiler. Yeah, So if
you haven't done so, you shouldcheck out Megan's amazing episode on Kelly Anne
